Taking the twin's home
Alex worked a short to long shift before he decided it was time for Cathy to take the twins back to the apartment cause he had to get them ready for their first full night at home in their forever home as well and he was going to need to help Cathy as well cause Phyllis was not going to be coming into town for a day at least and she will be staying at a hotel
"Okay Cat are my granddaughters ready to go home?" Alex asks as he came back after he drove a bit, but he checked in here and there as well to see how she was doing with he twins, and Bella was a big help as well as Latka cause Zoey needed attention as well here and there so Cathy was paying attention to her as well to make sure she was a happy girl and not a sad girl
"Yeah, I think I am fully ready to take those girls home" Cathy says as she got the diaper bag and Bella had her bag and her coat as well and she was fully ready for bed as well so that was a good thing right now
"Okay Zoey time to go home sweet girl cause daddy is going to be home tomorrow a little bit with you and your sister as well" he says as he was going to pick her up cause it was getting close to her bedtime as well, so he was going to tuck her in first as well
(Alex's apartment)
Cathy brings in Zoey and Alex had the twins
"Well guys this is where mommy lives at right now, but grandpa doesn't mind if you stay here as well" he says as he brought them in for the night cause it was going to be a long night as well cause they will wake up to feed or they will need change as well
Alex gets the twins out one by one, and he was going to put them in their bassinet for the time being cause Cathy was going to get a shower and he had to tuck the other two in
"Okay Bella time for bed princess" he says as he was going to tuck Zoey in as well cause it was past her bedtime so she should go to sleep fast cause he gave her bottle, and she was having her milk as well, so sleep was coming for her as well
Bella goes to her room, and she was going to go right to sleep as well cause she was tuckered out from the party too cause she had too much fun there and she party her heart out and she danced as well so she was bound to sleep well that night hopefully for her dad and her sister as well
"Okay Zoey time for you to go to bed as well little one cause tomorrow we go to the doctor's to see what can be done to get you to walk and you can move a little better and chase after your sister as well" he says as he was going to go ahead and tuck her in as well cause she will need to be rocked to go to sleep on her own right now cause Bella can go right to sleep if she misses her nap and she did so she was fast asleep as well too on her own
Alex rocked Zoey and she started to go to sleep on her own as well as she had her bottle and soon she was fast asleep and Alex tucked her in and kissed her good night then he went to help Cathy with the twins cause he knew she was going to need help
"Dad how did you and mom do it with just me I can't seem to do it with two I did it at the garage with help and now I don't think I can do it" Cathy says as she was ready to break down and cry cause she was so upset as well cause she was not cut out to be a mother as well
"Cath I will help you have to not let the babies know you are stressed talk to them in a calming voice like this and make sure you have a blanket on your shoulder as well as a pacifier or something for them to suck on to help them sleep watch your old dad in action with Phoebe" he says as he was going to calm Phoebe down and get her to sleep as well cause he was going to show Cathy how he did it with her
Soon Phoebe was sound asleep as well and he repeated the same thing he did to Phoebe with Allie and she went right to sleep immediately and she stayed asleep as well and Cathy was grateful she had her dad with her for that first night at home cause she was not going to be able to do it on her own at all with two babies instead of one
"See it's that easy and if that doesn't work walk around with them and continue to talk to them or sing to them" he says as he was going to put Allie down as well
Cathy was going to go to bed cause the twins was going to be up at all hours anyway as well so it was important she gets some sleep
"I'll go to bed in a bit I want to watch some TV right now and just relax" he tells her
Cathy knew he deserved it cause he had to deal with passengers all day and some got on his nerves by the look of things as well and he might try to get things ready for when the twins wake up or when Zoey wakes up as well cause she still needs fed here and there too and she still needs daddy to make the scariness go away and Bella was going to sleep through the night cause the party wore her out completely. Alex watched two shows before he called it a night cause the twins were going to wake up here soon to eat and to have their diaper changed too
