As the sun rose once more to greet the people of Kararagi of a brand-new day, many people would look at the sun and find no sense of meaning other than it to be the start of one's routine once again. On the other hand, the same couldn't be said to some people who find meaning on the day itself. Finding meaning for every tomorrow, one would look at each morning more special than the previous one.

Finding meaning for every tomorrow, these were the words they imparted to her. In a dream she remembered their words clearly.

"Meili, dear, don't frown…" Elsa said as she went closer to Meili and lightly pinched both of her cheeks.

"Hmmmm… Mommy, where do you and Daddy get all of that energy?" Meili asked as she tried shake her head away from her mother's pinching.

With a chuckle, Elsa answered back as she released her grip on her daughter's cheeks, "Well, Meili it's because I am always looking forward to spend more time with you and Daddy"

With light chuckle from Elsa, Subaru suddenly came from behind and lifted the little Meili.

"How is my little princess doing!?" Subaru said as he lifted Meili above his head and set her down on his shoulders.

Feeling the hands of her Father lift her up in the air, she felt her drowsiness slowly fading away. Meili always did love her father giving her rides on his shoulders. As Elsa saw a smile escaping from Meili, she knew she was in good hands.

"I am doing fine, Daddy… I am still a bit sleepy" Meili said as she rested her head on top of Subaru's head.

"Meili is still a bit low on energy" Elsa added with a chuckle as she looked onto Subaru with a smile.

"*gasp* Is that true!? My little Meili is low on energy!? If that is the case, an aerial flight on Papa dragon should be in order!"

Hearing her father's words, Meili's face brightened up.

"Really!?" Meili screamed in excitement, removing all the drowsiness she had at the start of the day.

"Uh-huh, Papa dragon is now ready to take off! Is my little princess ready to fly!?" Subaru said as he looked back at Elsa and gave a gentle smile of his own.

With an energetic nod, Meili leaned forward and rested her upper body on top of Subaru's head. Pointing outside, Meili directed her father on where to go. As soon as she pointed, Subaru began to run at a gentle pace as he weaved his head gently to mimic the motions of flying to her daughter.

Like she was actually flying, Elsa and Subaru could hear the genuine joy and laughter from their daughter. Finding energy from their daughter's happiness, Subaru and Elsa made sure they did everything they can to give her the happiness that she deserved.

After an eventful morning charging their daughter's energy, Subaru finally came back into the household to finally have their breakfast.

Setting her daughter down to her seat at the dining table, Subaru then went over to Elsa and gave her a quick gentle kiss to her lips.

Seeing her father and mother kiss was normal for Meili, although she never understood the act as well as its meaning. Curious, the little blue-haired girl raised her voice.

"Daddy, why do you always put your mouth on Mommy's?" Meili said as Subaru finally sat down on his seat.

Seeing the reaction of their daughter, Subaru and Elsa, blushing, both chuckled.

Seeing that their daughter needed an answer, Elsa took it upon herself to give Meili that answer.

"Meili, dear, you father just gave me a kiss like he does to you on your forehead, it is an action that shows how much he loves us" Elsa said, looking onto Meili, as she placed her hand on Meili's shoulders.

"A kiss? Love?" Meili asked questioningly as she didn't understand those words.

Remembering her father placing his lips on her forehead every time she sleeps, Meili touched her forehead. As she touched her forehead, she smiled at the thought and felt warmth from its meaning.

"So this is love?"

Still a bit at a loss, Meili, at least, understood a little bit about her mother's answer.

"So Daddy kisses us because he loves us?" Meili said as she looked back at her mother with wonder.

With a nod from Elsa, she added, "He loves us so much"

"You will understand more of this as you grow, little princess" Subaru added as he gently placed his hand on the other shoulder of Meili.

With a chuckle from both Elsa and Subaru, both waited for the nod of their daughter, to let them know that she was finally satisfied with their answers. With a nod from Meili, the small family finally started their breakfast.

As the family ate their meals, Subaru learned about Meili's morning with Elsa. Hearing Elsa's answer, Subaru blushed and looked at Elsa lovingly.

"So where do you get your energy? Daddy" Meili asked as she grabbed herself some more rice.

"My answer is like your mother's, Meili" Subaru said as he gently smiled back at Elsa.

Noticing the slight pout, Subaru knew he had to come up with a better answer.

"Meili, dear, it is all about finding a meaning for every tomorrow"

"A meaning?"

"I want to get some ice cream" Meili said as she smiled.

"Yes" Subaru answered with a nod.

"Now, how does that make you feel about tomorrow?"

"I am excited about tomorrow!"

"That is what we mean, Meili, about finding a meaning for every tomorrow… it is just for us, me and your mother wanted for us to spend more time together."

"Hmm… I see!" Meili nodded as she understood its meaning.

"As long as you find a meaning for tomorrow, you will get that energy in the morning like me and your father" Elsa added.

As the sun finally crept its way onto the face the little blue-haired girl, she finally felt the warmth she wanted to feel, the warmth of a brand-new day. Feeling the sun's warmth, she slowly opened up her eyes to see one of her most awaited mornings had finally arrived. Seeing the sun, her body was filled immediately with energy. Turning her head to her to her right, Meili saw both of her parents still sleeping as her father hugged her mother from behind.

Seeing that she couldn't wait to start the day already, Meili slowly sat upright and immediately went closer to her sleeping parents. With a poke on her father's cheek and a shake for her mother, Meili said with much enthusiasm, "Mommy! Daddy! Wake up!"

As she shook their bodies and called out to them, it was only a matter of time until Subaru and Elsa would finally wake from their slumber. With a soft groan from the two, Subaru and Elsa finally woke up. As they slowly opened their eyes, they immediately saw the bright smile and lively energy of their beloved daughter.

Jumping on the bed as she finally saw her parents awake, Meili screamed, "Today is the day! Mommy! Daddy! It's my birthday!".

Seeing their bundle of sunshine with so much joy, Subaru and Elsa smiled and greeted their daughter "Happy Birthday, Meili!"

Hearing their greeting, Meili immediately went closer to her parents and greeted them with expectant eyes. Seeing this, Elsa immediately gave a head pat to their daughter and said, "Okay, Meili dear, Mommy and Daddy is wide awake and ready to celebrate your birthday"

"Yehey!" Meili screamed with excitement, as her mother continued to pat her head.

Reaching out, underneath the blanket, Subaru's hand started to playfully pinch Meili's cheek.

After much play with their daughter, Elsa reached out with her hands, and hugged her little Meili. As she does so, Elsa said to her to ready herself for their outing today as well as for her surprise gift this evening. With stars in her eyes, Meili nodded. Before she left the embrace of her mother, Subaru came closer and gave a light kiss on Meili's forehead.

Parting from her mother's embrace, Meili slowly got off the bed and looked at her parents with a beaming smile.

"Go on ahead, little princess, Mommy and Daddy will follow as soon as you are ready" Subaru said as he looked back at his little Meili with a gentle smile.

"Your clothes are ready on the side, Meili, along with your towel. As soon as you finished taking your bath, come back here so I could braid your hair sweetie" Elsa said with a chuckle, happy to see their daughter happy and filled with energy.

With a nod from Meili, she opened the door of their bedroom and exited the room as fast as she could. Seeing this, Elsa said out of concern, "Don't run! Meili! You might slip! Remember to take your time and properly wash yourself!"

"I will, Mommy!" Meili said as she closed the bedroom door.
