My Hero Academia: Eternal Revival

Chapter 1

Fates Entwined

It's been quite the ride when it comes to how the world is now for people. Villains on the rise now more than ever, there symbol of peace gone, and citizens are worried that the Hero Academia. To many a trying time, however to Mei Hatsume an opportunity to show off her new babies for new pros. Currently she has made new friends at school and is planning out a new set of her babies for Izuku Midoriya, so she prepares by walking to the support class room with her friends. To some a normal day, but for her, it'll become very important very soon.

"I can't believe you blew up my notes Hatsume, I was kinda needing those for class ya know." her friend, a man named Izai said with disbelief.

"Don't know what you were expecting Izai, you gave your notes to the person who keeps blowing stuff up." another friend, her name Ichika Stated with a smirk. Izai sighed at that and nodded knowing it was his fault this happened. Mei however couldn't care less just happy that her friends are getting along instead of bickering.

"Come on Izai I'll give you my notes if that makes you feel better."

"They'll be smoked and blown to pieces by the time I get them. Thanks but no thanks." Izai remarked with a scoff. Mei laughed at the statement for it was true slightly.

"Don't look at me my notes got torn up. I at least remembered what to do. Do you Remember Izai?"

"No why do you think I needed MY notes back Ichika, I don't remember anything. Stupid teacher and there convoluted teaching method." Izai said frustrated at there teachers way of teaching.

Mei was gonna come up with something clever for that statement when she heard something. Something whirring, a small bird perhaps. Yet it sounded metallic, like metal cogs screeching with every movement. She turned to the direction of the noise to see the woods dark and foreboding in the early morning glow. Puzzled by this she begins to walk forward to the woods feeling a sort of call to them. Izai and Ichika noticing this and tried to call out to her but to no avail.

"Mei, Mei snap out of it. What are you looking at anyways?" Ichika yelled to her to get her attention yet nothing. Suddenly wind began blowing from the woods towards the trio. It wasn't strong nor soft but it did carry with it a small voice. Quite but still audible a simple word from the woods

"Mei." it said with a somber eeriness. Mei surprised by this stepped back for a split second turning back to her friends.

"Did you hear that? Something's out there."

"I didn't hear anything though that wind gust was strange." Izai answered looking into the woods. Once again wind began to blow this time stronger. The voice once faint now a little louder, began to speak.

"Mei, help." it said this time catching the attention of Mei's friends.

"Okay that's new. Do you know of anyone who sounds like that Ichika?"

"No might be a new person though who got stuck."

"WHO'D WHISPER HELP LIKE THAT? I'd say it's a ghost, what do you think Mei?" Izai asked Mei however it fell on deaf ears.

For Mei was already running towards the direction of the voice. It called to her, it said help she will save it. She will a become a hero like her friends. Wind picks up and again the voice calls.

"Over here behind the eldest tree. There you will find destiny." it said more clearly than ever before.

What does it mean when it says destiny and eldest tree. For what Mei is aware of most of the trees are fairly old. However one sticks out, a tree with moss and vines leaves pure green and sakura leaves in a faint bloom. Unlike the trees around this one, this tree has been said to never wilt, for it's leaves never turn colors and it's flowers while fall off always return to bloom again. Due to this, the tree has be given the name of the Mugen Tree. Legend says a star fell from the sky and landed here making the tree blessed by heaven. A perfect spot to find this thing calling to Mei.

She slows and walks around the tree to find someone, anything. The more she looked the more frustrated she became what was it she was looking for? The wind then the wind began to pick up with much more ferocity this time. The voice now a soft call began to speak.

"look down to the side of the sunlight. There is the thing calling to you." It answered softly and calmly.

Mei then looked up to find where the sunlight was pointing, east side of the tree. She moved there and looked down at the tree. She gasped at what she's looking at. A man with what looks like wires sticking out at random points in his body. Legs positioned to look like the trees roots, arms rested at his side with the palms aimed at the sky. Mouth wide open slanted sideways showing brown teeth and a dark black pit for a mouth. Yet the strangest thing was both the horns on top of its head and the metallic look of the creatures body. For the horns look like they aim backwards the bend back to the front, or at least for one is broken to a half. The skin looks metallic and rusted making the thing look like it is a part of the tree. No wonder no one found this thing, to many it would merely look like an extension to the tree. It does not help the fact that vines and branches were covering this thing from torso to legs.

The thing was ensnared by the tree and was at this point like a corpse. Many would run from it in fear, yet Mei would not. She was mesmerized by the thing for the knowledge gained by this thing would be extravagant. The aid it could do unmatched, the power it may wield could very well be beyond even the strongest pros alive. Mei was amazed at the thoughts that arose from her mind, and the curiosity of what it was gnawed at her mind. The voice than spoke this time clearly and precise.

"it's nice to finally see someone again for it has been to long since the last." It began sounding relived but calm to Mei. "I understand you are confused, worry not for I shall explain everything soon. First however you must remove me from this tree." It commanded Mei with a soft yet stern voice. Mei wasted no time in removing the thing from the tree.

Well more appropriate to say attempt for the branches were strong and thick, and it was clear that the body was unfit to move. It was heavy as well as stuck to the very dirt under it, she was however able to remove some branches and vines away from the body. Yet it would not be enough, she would need more help in order to get this thing off the tree.

How timing works for as she was about to go in for a second attempt she heard her friends calling for her. In turn she called to them and they arrived in the direction they heard her voice. Izai was gasping for air while Ichika was merely sweating slightly while breathing more calmly yet still reaching for air.

"Man when you go for something, you go. I think I almost passed out back there." Izai said out of breath unaware of what Mei was doing. Ichika however immediately understood what was going on and gasped at the sight she just saw. This machine, this thing hunched against the tree like an old soldier with Mei trying to get the vines and branches off of them.

"What are you doing Mei? This thing doesn't look natural and even dangerous."

"It called to me and said it would reward me if I did." Mei answered tugging at a vein.

"Ah so it's for the reward, how unhero like for someone like you."

"No it can become my new baby, why else would I help this thing? It has so much potential that I HAVE to see it." Mei retorted with a sparkle in her eyes. Izai now recovered from the run accepts that statement, uncaring at the machine that is stuck to the Eternal Tree. He is however stunned by a sudden boom that seems to resonant from the machine.

"You two help your friend free me and I'll be indebted to you till time ends."

"Oh we were gonna help her you don't have to ask twice buddy." Izai said rolling up one of his sleeves to get ready to life the machine. Ichika however was not having any of it and put her hand over Izai before he could move to help Mei.

"Hold it, Izai may help our friend without question on something but I don't trust you. I mean many students have been here and yet you have been unnoticed by them, I find that hard to believe. Plus what even are you, some sort of highly advanced training robot or something?" Ichika asked with a hint of unease and unhappiness in her normally relaxed voice.

"I shall explain in due time but first-"

"Don't even you creature, if we did that you would simply run off from the school and go somewhere heroes couldn't find you. Maybe one of the teachers will know you, do you know of any?"

"That does NOT concern you Ichika. Help me and I will-"

"NOW HOLD on a minute I never said my name to you, how do you know it?" Ichika asked this time with more rage and a hint of fear in her voice. The voice chuckled slightly and then began to speak

"I know many things that not even the smartest heroes and villains know. Now will you help me or just belittle me?" The voice said with more hatred in there tone this time. Ichika now fully concerned and Izai even showing a bit of worry begin to back away from Mei who was awestruck at what she just heard.

"You really are a freak huh, that's it I'm going to find a teacher. Maybe All Might will know-"

"DO NOT BRING THAT FAILURE HERE! HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO SAVE ANYONE AFTER FAILING TO KILL ALL FOR ONE!" The Voice boomed with rage and a fury that swept across the trees. The three where stunned at the outburst, it at first seemed calm and well knowing yet that outburst came out of nowhere. Whatever it is definitely hates All Might for that fight. Ichika sighed and began to walk next to Mei.

"All right we won't get All Might or the teachers. Just stay calm and explain everything when you can THEN we will help you. Is that a deal?" Ichika asked in a gentle almost motherly tone to the machine. The voice sighed and began to speak again, this time softly.

"Fine you have a deal Ichika. Release some of the vines around me, I know your quirk controls floral items, and vines count to an extent as flora you can move, can you not?" the voice asked seeming intrigued with what he was speaking about. Ichika at first concerned that they knew that sighed softly and nodded in answer.

"good as for you Izai you can aid others in there luck correct?" Izai nodded to that question. "in which case aid Mei out by giving her a little luck in pulling me out then help pull me out as well." The voice ordered and Izai made a mocking salute position using his quirk on Mei who was already beginning to move more branches away from the body.

Together with Ichika and Izai moving in the branches and vines began to leave the things body. Eventually all was removed from the machine except for a few around the legs. At the end of this endeavor Ichika was sweating a little for moving such large vines took its toll on her and Mei and Izai were also tired from moving branches away.

"Good we've removed the outer layer now pull me out from the tree. First the torso than the legs, after that put me on a cart to carry me somewhere I desire to go to." The voice ordered with a calm connotation to his tone. Mei immediately knew where to find a cart and bolted off without warning Izai or Ichika first. Both looked at each other and just began to pull the machine away from the tree.

When they began pulling the torso away not only did it feel off but they could hear snapping sounds from behind the machine. When they finished pulling the torso fell on top of the legs revealing holes on the back with what looks like vines peeking out. Some were large, others were small same goes for the holes, while not many where there, they definitely showed tear and wear around them. Some gaped with metal around while others looked like entire chunks of metal were just torn away from the body.

"My god I thought you were in rough shape but this just shows you have been through hell." Izai said with a bit of a disturbed look on his face.

"More than you even realize." The voice retorted with what sounded like sadness in there tone. Before Izai or Ichika could even say anything, Mei came back with a cart behind her, not even sweating a little bit from the journey.

"Got the cart, now lift it's legs off and put it in the cart." Mei ordered moving in to help move the machine.

"On the count of three. One. Two. THREE!" Mei counted and all three then began to lift the machine up hearing even more snapping and even seeing dirt clinging on to the legs of the machine. Once the dead was done they strained and struggled to move the machine to the cart, yet they where able get the body over the cart and dropped it in gently enough as to not break the cart on impact.

The body was contorted and twisted in the cart but it was off the tree. All three looked happy with there success, yet something odd was going on. Ichika noticed that the Mugen Tree was slowly wilting with leaves turning different colors as flowers began to wilt away. But as soon as that was happening it slowly began to change back to it's normal state without any sign of wilting at all.

"Did both of you see that?"

"Of course we did, that tree was wilting but what caused it to just become what it was again." Izai asked stunned by what he saw.

"That was me, a parting gift for the tree. Now it will never wilt with or without me." The voice said with a bit of disdain in there tone. Mei. Izai, and Ichika where amazed at the fact that this machine was the sole purpose the tree never wilted. Ichika shook her head and began to speak.

"Well that's besides the point. Now that you're off the tree, what now?"

"bring me to the dorm that holds class 1-A. Only then will you repair me and in turn give you what you most desire." The voice said with confidence and heavy sighing in between.

"ARE YOU CRAZY!? Like hell we can get you there."

"Why not? Aren't all dorms accessible to students?"

"Okay one that's not exactly true, and two even if we could Mr. Aizawa would not be happy bringing you over. No way are we doing this." Ichika stated putting her arms around her shoulders. Mei then gave her a sad look while Izai merely looked at Mei with worry.

"You do realize Ichika that when Mei's mind is put to something, no one can convince her otherwise. Who knows maybe we can convince Mr. Aizawa to put the thing in the dorm." Izai stated slapping his hand on the machine. Ichika looked over and sighed realizing her situation.

"Alright but if this fails I'm out. Do I make myself clear?"

"YES THANK YOU ICHIKA!" Mei screamed with delight beginning to pull the cart alongside her.

Her friends looked at each other, shrugged and followed suit. While neither of them realize what they've done, they have just started a new chapter in the age of hero society. This world has just become much more interesting.
