An entire month had passed.

The black knights had become heroes, the JLF had lost most of its power and the people truly believed that Zero could free them from the Britannians.

As for the smaller groups of resistance fighters they had two choices. Join the black knights or head towards Niigata. Many chose the former while the very few chose the later.

It is here in Ojiiya Niigata a small town divided by a single river. Where Marcia and her survivors set up their base. Utilizing their spies they managed to set up a base without alerting any of the Britannian forces.

With their factory they began building weapons, their troops were trained by Sheila as she managed all military affairs. While Patricia began plans to construct defenses.

In one month the three of them had built a considerable force. However they were waiting for their leader, as spring ended the sound of hooves alerted the soldiers. Marching inside the town wearing a white samurai armor Chris had returned.

Guiding their leader towards their base Chris and his escort witnessed how the people looked at them. They were strangers in a town which had been swiftly dominated by the powers of Britannia.

Watching some fanatics prancing around town made them feel insecure and afraid. But Chris wanted to change that he wanted to give these people something to smile for.

Walking inside the base Chris watched as Marcia came running towards him. Covered in grime and tears she jumped at him. Catching her in his arms he smiled.

"You bastard...I thought you had died!" She screamed into his chest.

"It's alright, as long as I have this power death is but a myth" holding her tightly Chris allowed his wife to release her anguish. After a full minute they were pulled away by Sheila.

"Well kid, you've bested Yuhelia with this one. Switching bodies with a soulless husk...Not even he had thought of that" smiling the boy leaned into Marcia's ear.

Whispering a few words she held on to him for a moment. Releasing him she wiped her tears and returned to her post. "Sheila what's the situation"

"We moved our base of operations, some of our supplies are arriving by river thanks to the remaining sea snakes. In a few days we should have all our supplies stored up" motioning for Chris to follow they made their way inside an abandoned hospital.

"A few of the smaller rebels have joined with us as we were moving our provisions. We have an army of 1,102 soldiers. This is our biggest force yet, however I've spotted a few Britannian scouts patrolling the area. Our dummies are keeping them busy, but it won't be long before they realize they've got spies within their ranks" informed Sheila.

"How many KLF remain?" Stepping inside the elevator Sheila pressed the highest number.

"Seventy fully operational, twenty being new models" nodding Chris had plans forming inside his head.

"I know how we can get the attention off our backs" arriving at the fourth floor Chris watched as the room had been fully repaired. Steel covered walls painted onyx black. The floor had a soft green carpet and the only source of light was a series of white light bulbs settled on the ceiling.

"I need to check up on our recruits, I've left a list of our contacts for you in your office" nodding Chris traversed the hallway alone. The AC truly made his day that much better.

At the end of the hallway a set of wooden doors awaited him. Pushing them open his office greeted him. A massive black desk in the center, a cabinet with all the summoning crystals, on the left a king sized bed and on the right a few weapons and a cabinet with some documents.

"What a way to make me feel important" settling into his chair Chris smiled as he was gonna have a busy week.

"Commander, Scott" saluted a young soldier as the commander was ready to leave the base.

"Soldier" returning the gesture the commander walked towards the elevator. Calling the elevator he waited.

For someone like him it would be wonderful if peace was achieved, he could retire and start working as a teacher. He always wanted to teach the future generations to pass on the knowledge.

The door opened and Scott was snapped out of his thoughts. Entering the elevator he didn't mind the soldier standing inside going to the bottom floor he sighed.

"Heading home commander?" Asked the soldier in a friendly tone. Nodding Scott turned towards the young man. "Yes, my wife should be waiting for me. Even tough I tell her not to stay up late she never listens" smiling the soldier nodded.

"Have a safe trip sir" as they arrived on the parking lot Scott stepped out. Walking towards his car he was stopped by a man dressed in white. Stepping out from between the cars Chris faced Scott.

"Mister Rook...I had a feeling we hadn't gotten rid of you yet" admitted Scott.

"That is right. I am alive and well, would you mind if we rode together?" Starring into those blue eyes Scott moved to his car. Hesitant he unlocked the door for his passenger.

Entering the car Chris settled into the seat. Driving out of the base they were both silent. "My secretary...is she one of your men?" Questioned Scott.

"No, the one before her, he was mine" admitted Chris.

"We've been finding dead men without any ID dead on the base. Those are yours correct" asked Scott.

"Maybe...any clue who is killing our men?" Questioned Chris.

Heading to the highway Scott decided to take a detour. "None, I've spoke with the princess and she can't do a single thing. The Black knights are attacking constantly, her forces are stretched thin" revealed Scott unable to hide the truth.

Looking in his rear view mirror Scott spotted a Knightmare frame giving chase. "Friends of yours?"

Looking back Chris sighed "they really aren't discreet are they?" Opening the car door he poked out. "Flames of hell carve the earth black with your hatred" reaching out with his hand Chris grit his teeth as his palm was dragged across the cold asphalt.

As the Sutherland took aim a massive pillar of flames consumed the machine melting the pilot and the KLF. Witnessing this Scott pressed his brows into a frown.

As Chris sat back in his seat he felt the cold barrel of a gun pressed to his head. "You're far more dangerous than the black knights. The princess was right assigning me to deal with you"

With the car still running Chris chuckled "Boy you soldier types are just filled with love and peace"

After a few tense seconds Chris lunged a Scott. Several shots were fired before the car crashed into the highway railings. All was quiet two more shots were heard before it fell quiet once again.

The passenger door opened as Chris stepped out holding his left arm he looked inside the car. Sitting limp in his chair Scott was dead. Two rounds through his head.

"Sorry commander I can't afford to have anyone chasing after me" taking out a summoning crystal he created a wolf. Climbing on its back Chris made his escape.

"Chris a group of resistance fighters wish to speak with you" said Patricia over the phone. "Bring them in" he replied as Chris was gazing at a digital map of Japan.

A few minutes later the men came into his office. Two men with unique appearances. "So this is the boss..." Spoke a large middle aged man with long brown hair wearing a black trench coat and blue jeans with black boots.

"I must say I'm not impressed in the least" said the second man. This one was young he wore a white t shirt with a red jacket and black trousers with black dress shoes his hair was Blue in a bowl cut.

"And you guys are?" Asked Chris not impressed by either of them.

"Golden bull Gouda, boss of the Gouda Bulls" introduced the big man.

"Elegant king Dexter, boss of the Blue Sparrows" said the thin man as he too introduced himself.

"I'm Chris Rook, I'm the leader of this force. We haven't had the time to create a banner so we'll just go with the basic" answered Chris feeling bored.

"Bah what lame introduction is that! You're a boss fighting against Britannia you need to act like one!" Screamed Gouda annoyed by Chris's lack of style.

"Ignore him" approaching the desk Dexter smiled at Chris. "We are both resistance leaders from nearby towns. Our groups aren't very big but we help the people however we can. We came to see what kind of man you are mister Rook" revealed the calmer boss.

"Right now you chose a bad time to visit. Had you come by yesterday i could've given you guys a proper welcome but..." Pointing at the cast for his left arm Chris smiled.

"Tripped on the stairs?" Asked Gouda.

"Killed a britannian commander two days ago. Wasn't easy but Scott won't be bothering me anymore" hearing this surprised Dexter.

"Scott? You mean that dastardly old man whose purging everyone forming a mob" nodding Chris stood from his seat.

"He didn't go down without a fight, so where are you guys from?" Asked Chris changing topics.

"Tokamachi, the towns gone but we're settled on the mountains" said Gouda.

"Uonuma unlike him my town survived the britannian invasion, you're also the one with those oversized fish?' asked Dexter.

"They're sea snakes, and yes they're mine" admitted Chris.

"Well I've got some nice information for you neighbor" smiling Dexter crossed his arms over his chest.

"Officers report to my office" after making the call Chris waited in his office. four women stepped inside. Dressed in a blue uniform the four of them stood in front of chris in a single row.

"At attention. Commander Marcia has finished our training, unit commander, Rebecca assigned to the tanks and dragons legion" announced a woman with red hair tied up in left ponytail.

"Unit commander Francesca, assigned to naval serpent and amphibious legion" said a woman with straight black hair.

"Unit commander Niels, assigned to KLF unit" said a short woman with bowl haircut and black hair.

"Unit commander Elizabeth, assigned to supply and artillery unit please call me Eli" said the last woman with long pink hair and a voluptuous body.

Leaning back in his chair Chris smiled. "Just in time, Francesca you're with me, tonight we're raiding a Britannian Cargo, Eli prepare some transports, Niels protect Eli's unit. Rebecca remain here and guard the base, we start at seven" saluting all four women left his office to prepare.

As the doors closed Chris approached the crystals. Grabbing Yuhelia's cracked crystal he made his way out of the office.

8:34 PM. Near the coast of Oga.

Two destroyers escorted a LCC. Their troops were relaxed as they had yet to be attacked during their delivery of supplies. A soldier yawned, wiping his eyes he watched as the coast drew closer and closer.

Peace and quiet were something he had grown used to in this job. A light flashed making him lift a brow, a massive lightning bolt hit the destroyer on the left blowing it's bridge into a ball of hellfire.

The noise alerted the two ships as everyone manned their posts. Lights were pointed towards the coast, what awaited them was an army armed and ready. "Fire!" Announced Chris as he stood in front of his forces.

Bullets rained on the guards as they ran for cover. As the destroyer turned it's turrets towards the group a group of sea serpents slammed into it's side the ship crashed against the cargo knocking some of the men overboard.

Gunfire stopped and the assault force ran away. Once the ships settled down their crews were surprised to see soldiers coming onboard. Eliminating what remained on the destroyer it was captured by the attacking soldiers.

The cargo ship managed to put up a good resistance as their crew took out a few of the soldiers however they were soon overwhelmed and surrendered.

Bringing the ship closer Francesca unloaded the cargo just as Eli and her transports arrived. Helping the process was Chris's assault force. The mission was only halfway done however.

Once the trucks were loaded Eli needed to return safely an unit of KLF escorted her. Many security measures had been taken to ensure she arrived safely.

"Francesca do you read me?" Called out Chris as he tested the device given to them by Dexter.

"I read you sir"* replied the stoic voice of the naval commander.

"Disable all electronics on the destroyer and bring her back to base. Gouda said he wanted a ship" said Chris as he eyed the black ship.

"What about the cargo ship?"*

"Destroy her"

"Roger"*

Turning around several soldiers had been awaiting Chris's orders. "We need to make sure the supplies are not attacked, get on your vehicles and follow them" marching towards several blue colored Vans the soldiers left their leader alone in the port.

Taking a cigarette Chris took a moment to enjoy the taste. Several minutes passed before he drew his gun. "You can come out, I've noticed your presence for some time"

From behind him a kunai flew out of the tree. Landing around his feet, a letter was attached. It had the black knights logo on the back.

"Nice of you to say hello" kneeling down he took the weapon and the letter.

On a rural town to the north of Japan. A military installation had been built. Silver snuck inside in order to find out who was in charge of the installation. Security was tight however he managed to sneak inside undetected.

Knocking out a guard he disguised himself and managed to enter the lower levels. Carefully he began his investigation. Workers and scientist roamed about as they spoke of a project.

Ascending a flight of stairs Silver watched as a group of scientists approached a door. With haste he mixed with the crowd.

"-ou think we'll be off this week?" A scientist spoke

"I think so, we've made advances on the project, the boss is gonna give us a raise for sure" the second scientist replied as he opened the door.

"I hope he gets interested in my idea, flying robots" said the first scientist.

"Oh please you're always talking about that idea of yours" joked another scientist.

As they laughed the door opened and they entered the room. Inside Silver looked around for whatever project they were working on. His eyes rested upon a cylinder.

His eyes widened as he stared at the dead body of Yuhelia. His body froze as the old man was healthy, alive and worst of all. Reading.

His hand reached for his weapon. A blur slammed into him, twisting his arm he resisted the pain and glared at the large figure behind him. The same woman who had taken away his Oracle.

"Reika" he growled with deep hatred.

"You're really annoying you know that, I should cut your legs and drop you in a boiling pot. Maybe then you'll stop bothering me" she said casually.

"That won't be necessary, release him" said Yuhelia as he closed the screens in front of him.

Backing away from Reika Silver took out his gun. "You are Silver...yes your father was quite the character. Patriotic, proud and headstrong much like you right now boy" said Yuhelia as he smiled.

"You must know i only came here for two reasons, to kill her and now to kill you" smirking Reika placed her arms on her hips as she didn't feel the least bit threatened.

"Calm yourself boy, I require your aid. Help me kill Rook he has been a thorn on our side for far too long" a screen opened inside the tank. silver frowned as he watched the screen behind Yuhelia.

"If he continues gathering his forces he will eventually form a free state where he shall declare war on all nations. One after another shall fall beneath his unquenched thirst for power!" Moving towards the glass Yuhelia gazed at Silver closely.

"If you won't accept...she will unfortunately die" the screen changed revealing the live recording of Kristen. Several men and women who were acting like citizens gazed at her.

Dozens of pedestrians who seems like your average citizens, all worked for the wicked man known as Yuhelia. Even for a soldier as skilled as Kristen she would be swarmed before she could protect herself.

"Leave her out of this you fossil!" Grinning Yuhelia crossed his fingers and smiled. "Then, you shall return home. Return to your post and follow my orders. Should you fail remember i could always end your miserable lives"

Scoffing Silver was approached by Reika who guided him out of the room. Confident in his plans Yuhelia closed his eyes and waited as his body recovered.

Smoking a Cigarette Chris stood over towns outer wall. It was a 17 meter tall wall of stone and 10 kilometers wide. There were two towers being built to allow guards to enter and exit, from these towers they would construct the other walls to surround the eastern side of town.

"There you are" walking towards Chris was Sheila.

"We've finished construction of the first civilian block. Tomorrow we're going to move the families to their new houses, Patricia says she is close to finishing blueprints for our own custom made KLF and Marcia she's been busy leading the repair and construction" standing next to the boy she waited for him to finish taking a drag.

"That's not healthy you know" she said as he released the smoke.

"Stress relief, any word on your friends?" Asked Chris.

"Well Dexter is glad to have received your supplies while Gouda has started stripping down the ship. They're weird fellas but they're good people" admitted Sheila.

"You should let me know next time i need to meet strangers like them, the girls are gonna need some tasks to do for the week, got any suggestions?" Asked Chris hoping for any ideas.

"Have Francesca take over watch duty at the river, Niels could help attack the britannian scouts, have Elizabeth join you on your meeting with the black knights, as for Rebecca keep her around guarding the base" offered Sheila.

"..." Remaining silent Chris gazed at the full moon. Enjoying his cigarette he wondered how long would they remain in this leisurely peaceful place.

"Chris?" Called out Sheila worried about the boy.

"I need some food, wanna come?" He asked the woman.

"Sorry the only meal i eat is body maintenance and oil change" discarding his cigarette Chris made his way out of the wall.

"Chris!" Stopping Chris looked back at Sheila.

"You're doing a great job kid, don't give up" smiling Chris continued his walk.
