Chapter 10
Mercenary Shadow Training
Two days had past since Toga snuck into UA and had a reunion with Kiralexia. Now the whole school was in uproar about the situation. Most had heard about the relationship between the two, how Kiralexia was basically her father. Most found it ridiculous, others thought it true, and some didn't even know how to feel about it. What was know though was that Kiralexia fully embraced it.
He admitted that he raised and cared for Toga when she was little. That he treated her like a human being and would risk everything for her. Upon that reveal most didn't feel right around him, while others just accepted it. He couldn't control it but he still loved her. If that didn't scream out a fathers love he didn't know what would.
For now however it didn't fully bug him, he found it nice that most talked about MORE than just his origins and other things related to his past. Instead he wouldn't dwell on such things instead focusing on class 1-A's training. Around a week or two ago he was finally given permission to train class 1-A and so far it has gone much better than what the teacher expected. In the beginning he gave them pointers on more obscure ways to use there quirks, some unique training dummies to use that adapted to there skills, and even throwing some blows himself.
Around half way his first week he began to use different training techniques on class 1-A. Using strange clones of himself that had aspects that went against there strengths. It was training them to be ready against there weaknesses and overcome them. This went on until they became nearly exactly like him in appearance HOWEVER acted very differently from one another. That addition was only about 4 days ago, and man did it get class 1-A to train even harder.
These 'clones' of Kiralexia were relentless, some calm and collective, others like Bakugou being ticking time bombs of rage and fury, and a few that were just crazy and unstable. This variety not only made it easy to tell who was the real one, but also made training exceptionally harder. For you see these different variations of Kiralexia, when destroyed came back harder, stronger, and just more difficult. This is exactly what Kiralexia hoped to do when training the class.
As of now this routeing of training has shifted a little but not by much. As of now the whole gym has become a graveyard of scrap metal and debris. Kiralexia instead of standing watch, because of his condition with his legs, is sitting in a fold up chair with a goddamn umbrella over his face. he's reading a book while also watching over the field. Some of the corpses falling from the platforms makes him feel a little uncomfortable. However it was mainly Bakugou's and a few others that made him feel that way. Seeing his own body explode, erode, and snap bones can do that to someone.
As of now he is unaware of Mr. Aizawa, All Might, Principle Nezu, and Ms. Midnight that just came into the gym. They wanted to see how training was going and only saw a battle field. Midoriya was on a platform struggling with a four armed version of Kiralexia while Kirishima is dealing with a body splitting version. Those two stuck out the most along with Bakugou's sudden yell and explosion from his ring.
The torso half of this Kiralexia went flying from the platform, almost hitting All Might. One arm was missing from it and half it's face was blown off. It looked frightened before the light from it's eyes dimmed. Bakugou looked down, ignoring most of the teachers and looking right at Kiralexia who simply looked at him annoyed.
"OI TIN CAN I NEED A NEW ONE! THE OLD ONE WAS TO WEAK!"
"Of course you do, god you go by them to quickly. Maybe it's time you face more than one this time." Kiralexia whispered a little before producing two new versions of him.
One gave a psychotic look in his eyes having bladed arms and saber teeth. The other looked calm producing a ball of energy in it's hand a looking smug about it. Both looked at the real Kiralexia as he simply said 'give him hell'. Both nodded and jumped up to the platform. The teachers and Principle looked a little impressed with how well he was handling this. Even if he did look lazy just sitting there.
"I gotta say Kiralexia, I'm surprised that you're handling this so well. it's not what I expected at all, doesn't this hurt you?"
"Oh hey Aizawa, no not exactly. It doesn't really exhaust me to badly, but it is a pain when I have to replace them so soon."
"That should be expected since you began training them yourself, they've become far better than if any of us taught them."
"Is that a compliment or and insult?"
"Why would I insult your training style?"
"Sorry old grudge came out of me there. Though don't discredit yourself All Might, without you some of them probably wouldn't be at the point they were when they began under my wing." Kiralexia stated looking at all of the students training hard at his copies.
The teachers couldn't deny that his training style WAS effective. However there was some tension in the air around the teachers and Kiralexia. He knew this and he had a feeling as to why that was the case. He simply sighed and began to speak about the matter on all of there minds.
"You came here to discuss my daughter didn't you?"
"Well yes this is a concern. A villain came into UA and met you. Your secrecy is now at jeopardy."
"What secrecy? I have been vocal across this country of myself and other things out there. Not to mention most know of me so what secret is there left?"
"Your name and your involvement with this Militia. Not to mention that if a villain was able to sneak in who know who else will sneak in. we got lucky this time but who know what happens next."
"I can defend myself assholes, I'm not your damn prize to keep hidden. And DON'T speak of my daughter like that dammit, she not just any other villain. she's my Nekoga thru and thru. If you have an issue with that than just shut me down right now."
"What?"
"Ya you heard shut me down and just SEE how my Nekoga reacts. she'd go ballistic, and you wouldn't want to deal with that."
"No we won't do that don't worry. However we won't let this event slide, next time we find her in hear there WILL be consequences both to her and you."
"Of course I will keep that in mind oh so just heroes." Kiralexia said mockingly to the teachers. Mr. Aizawa rolled his eyes before pulling out a document from his shirt.
"Speaking of the Militia we've found something very interesting about them." Mr. Aizawa said putting the document into Kiralexia's lap.
He raised an eyebrow at the document before picking up for a better look. He was surprised with what he saw. It was incredibly classified information on the Militia. Not that it was hidden from the public but more the fact that Kiralexia didn't want to show just yet. The information on the Elite members of the Militia and a hint to the real name of the Militia. With this single quote over the picture of the so called founder, 'We are heroes and villains, tred in the light and dark. We are the balance of this world. We are Anti to all.' - Grand Captain Marian.
Kiralexia was stunned he was looking at pictures of his old friends and allies, now in a much clearer light. Out of curiosity he flipped over to Tsu's uncle and saw the Info.
Name: Kaito Asui
Age: early 20's to 30's
Quirk: Tree Frog/ Poison Dart
Desc: A man with a neutral face and a kind heart. He may seem innocent but he has been recorded being present around several murders. We are unsure weather he partook in them or not. What is certain is that he has deep connections with the AHM. Caution is advised though if he's friendly with you do not hesitate being friends.
Last seen: Emerald Harbor, Japan (date Undetermined)
"Huh ya I guess that makes sense, he wouldn't be seen ever since the war."
"It's not just him, flip to the other members." Mr. Aizawa said pointing at the document.
Kiralexia turned the page to see his other friends and there descriptions. The large Skeleton man, name and quirk were unknown, same with the Shadow Man, however most seemed the same. Most where last seen in the Emerald Harbor, nearly 6 years ago. When he finally reached himself he noticed he himself was given the status, (deceased). Most others, his friends and family where considered (exiled) or (Alive). He was confused but just glad that his friends were at the very least alive. But how did they figure that out?
"It seems after your final fight with All For One, most of these members went into hiding. I'm guessing because after the war, most villains wanted the Militia's highest members dead."
"It makes sense, with me out of the picture, and All For One wanted vengeance, most would hide from him. So now we can only guess where they are right?"
"Well we have a few clues to some of them, this is just a conglomeration of the Info we found on them so current clues are shaky at best."
"And they are?"
"That shadow man has been seen in Western Europe and that giant of a Skeleton is in Siberia. We know where the general place is, we just need to find the exact location to find them."
"I'm guessing THAT is gonna take longer huh?"
"Well if we had some way to track or interview people without stirring up to many people then that would make this much easier."
"Take ALL the time you need I know how hard it is to find this information even with my aid. However, now that you've learned of more details on both the Elites AND many of the army divisions, I think I can now change training styles." Kiralexia said with a smirk on his face.
The rest looked at him confused as he got up from his seat and handed the Document back to Aizawa. He then halted all of his clones and made them disappear most of the students looked down at him very confused. He then clapped his hands and looked up at them with glee in his eyes.
"Alright everyone meet me outside, I've got a special new training style for all of you. I'll explain when you're ready."
"Hold on can you train class 1-B as well, it would finally give em fair training and get many to see you in person. Since most have only heard of you in here." Vlad King asked Kiralexia.
"Hmmm I don't see why not. Both do have strong quirk wielders, plus I'd love to see there faces when they realize just what they walked into. Very well, meet me outside within, I'd say 20 minutes." Kiralexia stated walking out to the door of the gym.
Everyone looked at him confused but understanding. He wanted this to be a surprise let him make it a surprise. Besides, he would also find a surprise out there when the time came. For now let him make the new training environment.
20 minutes past and most of class 1-A and 1-B were outside, hero suited up and ready for training. Kiralexia was making some adjustments to the environment he made. A giant black dome mixed with a square like shape, like an auditorium but much bigger. Both classes were amazed by this as well as the teachers, Principle, and a few guest that UA invited.
"I must say Kiralexia, you've done quite the feet ahead of you. This is absolutely impressive, great work." Principle Nezu remarked looking up at the building.
"Oh hey, glad we can get this Staaaarrrrrrr- Why the hell are Pros here?" Kiralexia asked looking directly at the small group of Pro Heroes walking alongside the teachers.
The small group of heroes had consisted of the Work Study Heroes, Fat Gum, Ryukyu, Bubble Girl and Centipeedle. However Miruko was also there as well as well as Hawks of all people. The group all waved and looked happy. Principle Nezu looked over at them and then turned over to Kiralexia explaining the situation.
"Well many Pro Hero Agencies were getting restless not knowing much about you, felt like they were being betrayed by us. So we made a deal, for most they'd see pictures and some recordings and audios of you. However as you can see now, some are allowed to come meet you in person, so long as it's a small group."
"Now answer me, why do you have Eri by your side?" Aizawa asked looking annoyed at Kiralexia. He turned over to see Eri struggling with a small wire clipping in a panel and turned back a little embarrassed.
"The big three came by earlier and Miriou brought Little Horn, I didn't have the heart to tell her to move back so I let her help me. don't worry for training I'll cover her eyes if anything gets to graphic."
"Well okay then, then where is the big three."
"There, around. Come on it's time I get to have a small reunion with some of these Pros."
"Great cause I wanted to say hi Kiralexia, how have you been lately?"
"Eh I'm not dead so that's good." Kiralexia answered Miruko who waved at him as he walked up to her.
Everyone around looked stunned. Miruko knew Kiralexia before? It also seemed like that both had a pretty close dealing before, however that didn't seem certain. What was certain was that both looked very happy or at least comfortable with each other, most heroes seemed to look concerned when they saw pictured of him. Why if Miruko the only one who isn't to concerned at him?
"Hold on you two know each other?"
"Know each other? We practically were partners on some missions. I consider her a full on part time worker of the Militia."
"Partners of the Militia you say, did that mean anything else?" Mr. Aizawa asked looking confused. Kiralexia and Miruko looked at each other slowly then looked away with Kiralexia whistling a little.
"Uh not exactly, I already had a lover in the Militia who, while would not complain about it, the most we were and are is, playful flirtation. A few coffee shop hangouts and maybe a few just relaxation nights, but not much else other than- I actually don't remember how far, maybe messages or pecks on cheeks? I-I don't know, do you remember?"
"Ya how about we discuss this when SHE'S not here." Miruko stated pointing at Eri who looked happy with her wire in.
"Fair enough I guess can't-wait HOW INTERMENT WHERE WE?"
"Again, mixed company, discuss later. But you WHERE a cuddle bug when we hanged out."
"Ya I see that, you were soft I couldn't resist. As for you big guy." Kiralexia said turning to Fat Gum who had a big smile on his face. Kiralexia sighed and opened up his arms. "Oh I know you've been holding it in so just-" Before he could finish, Fat Gum swooped him in and gave him a mighty hug. "OH there it is." Kiralexia retorted in a strained voice.
Kiralexia was slowly being sucked into Fat Gums stomach as he was hugging him. Fat Gum himself looking very happy at the situation not revealing the strain he was putting on Kiralexia's body. Slowly but surely Kiralexia was beginning to creak and twist even a little bit of steam was coming off of him. Fat Gum didn't care for he was to into the hug to notice.
"Kiralexia old buddy it's been to long. How have you been friend?"
"G-Good to see you to, now let go. I feel my back breaking!" Kiralexia said gasping for air as he was being hugged.
At that command, Fat Gum let Kiralexia go dropping him to the floor. He was gasping for air glad he was out of that situation. He got back up a little dazed from the hug arms swaying side to side. He then moved him arms to his back and cracked it back into place, with a loud crack. Kiralexia sighed of relief looking at Fat Gum a little happy but exhausted from the hug.
"Man you really can knock the wind out of someone with your hugs. Oh god my back is SO numb right now."
"Heh sorry man I just had to hug you, it's been WAY to long since we last saw each other."
"Of course it is I've been dead for a long-" Kiralexia looked back at Eri before turning back to Fat Gum. "fricking time man, ohh I'm light headed."
"Okay explain this one to us."
"Uh we met each other on a game show/ it was fun hanging out with him, and the game itself was pretty interesting."
"Wait Hero Merc Island, you were on that?!"
"Hey someone watched it yes we were on it, yeesh I will remember some of those people man. I think I was near last to compete right?"
"I was out before you so ya you were. That was a fun game man, we should try it again sometime."
"Ya if the others were around I'd gladly do it."
"Ahem." Mr. Aizawa cut the chat pointing to the students, patiently watching this reunion unfold. Kiralexia realized that now is time to get this reunion wrapped up so he said a few hellos and a high for Bubble Girl before getting ready himself to explain the building behind him.
"Okay I think now's a good time to explain what this device it behind me. Now-" Before Kiralexia could even finish, the big three popped out of the device screaming and crashing into the ground.
Kiralexia turned over to them and to the device which whirred and warbled around as it spat them out. He nodded and race walked to the three. They were all on top of each other a little dazed from whatever they went through. Kiralexia smacked them on the faces a little getting them out of the state a little.
"Hey hey, Miriou how'd it go?"
"A little glitchy other than that I'd say this will be a great simulation for them."
"Simulation?" Midoriya asked getting Kiralexia's attention. He looked over and moved away from the big three and in a presentation pose.
"Alright now then, ladies and gentlemen, lads and lassies, boys and girls, I introduce you to one of the most advanced simulations of the world. The A- Militia Training Simulator!"
"Training Simulator, wait this thing is a Simulator that trained Militia members for what?"
"It just trained them, for war and for advancing there own skill sets. We may be heroes but remember, deep down we are warriors, bred for this shiiiiitake. This thing is so advance that it even gave High Elite members a run for there money."
"Wow that is impressive, and you alone made this thing?" Hawks asked pointing at the building.
"Well no I only built the building for it, the simulation itself was someone else. They were a part time worker for the Militia, though I don't remember much, I think they were a gamer." Kiralexia responded putting his fingers under his chin.
Everyone was amazed by this simulation. It may be a big black building but within it, is the most advanced simulation of all time. Something that gave even the highest members of the Militia difficulty. Midoriya was most impressed with it since it meant he could learn more that Kiralexia was holding back from them.
"Wait so how long could this take?"
"Hard to say honestly, before I explain I just have to make a few comments. ONE you there." Kiralexia pointed to a 1-B student who looked like a Mushroom. "Your costume is very cute, just had to say it. I am internally screaming at the cuteness here." Mushroom girl smiled at that and gave a thumbs up to it. Kiralexia then turned to the rest of class 1-B looking all of them down.
"Two, I'm now noticing that BOTH classes have cute woman like what the heck is this?!" Kiralexia asked moving his arms at both classes. The females both liked the compliment and were flustered at it.
"Um thanks?"
"Ya take it as a compliment. Thirdly this is gonna be absolutely difficult for all of you, no matter how good your quirks are you WILL be in hell. ALL OF YOU." Kiralexia stated looking down everyone.
All of them stood ready and prepared, many looking antsy to get in. Kiralexia smirked a little then nodded at them turning around to the device, arms behind his back. He then turned his head back to them a little showing his teeth in his smile. He knew they were ready, but what they were signing up for was much more than they could handle.
"Whatever happens in there we're ready for it. we've faced villains before, we can deal with a few AI Militia members."
"Great confidence kid you'll need it. NOW, onto the rules of this simulation. Firstly I will allow all of you to kill the Militia members in there IF needed, since they are soldiers they were bread to fight and die for the cause. So do not grow doubt for killing them, especially since it isn't mandatory for this one."
"Wait we're allowed to kill them?"
"Well he did just explain that they know the risk. plus with the number we are meant to fight it would make sense that capturing all of them would not only be more difficult but also easier for them to recover manpower later correct?"
"WOW I was JUST about to explain that Tokoyami, good job. Yes if you only capture them it'll make your goal much harder on you, so PLEASE for your sanity and mine, kill them if you have to. Secondly as expected you will be split into smaller groups because, well all 40 of you at once is just WAY to unfair for the AI to deal with. don't worry as you progress you'll soon unite with the rest of your students until, the third rule. When all of you are untied again you will face the best of the best the Militia has to offer, I'm meaning The Guardians, Death Marchers, elite members from many of the smaller groups, and least of all the Elite Core of the Militia. I must say this, that last test of your strength will be no joke, it will make the many villain assaults you've faced look like little baby jokes in comparison."
"So you're in the core big deal, it may be the Elite members but I mean just how dangerous are you really meaning this to be Sir?"
"You don't get it Copycat, these Elite are Veterans of many wars and missions. Many of them in THIS simulation alone, have faced many of All For One's goons, who where a lot tougher back then than nowadays. And the core itself, yes I am in it but the other members are no joke, you think All For One is strong, I'll just say this, one member in there has had many face to face encounters with the- Prick before."
"HA you hear that Class 1-A, maybe this is to hard for you bunch of weaklings. Go back to your dorms because we can take on these Elites better than you guys can handle villains. HAHAHAH." Monoma laughed maniacally at that insult. Not fully realizing that his class hasn't even had that type of experience yet.
Kiralexia was getting annoyed at Monoma's insults and was about to insult him to even it out. However Kendo, Thankfully, knocked him out a little to make him stop. Kiralexia sighed heavily at him stopping, 'If MnM's not first, that brat WILL be.' Kiralexia thought to himself as he saw Monoma look a little, dead.
"Okay now that THAT'S over with, know what I say is true. The last test of your skill WILL bring you to the breaking point, why my first point is a must, trying to knock em all out is impossible. Killing may be your only way to survive the test. Now I should mention that there IS incentive to complete this test all the way through."
"And what would that be Kiralexia?"
"When all scenarios are completed, you will be given access to some sought out Information on the Militia. And I mean more than just some small thing like the members, but even it's REAL name. IF you complete is all the way. Am I clear?" Kiralexia asked both classes with a stern look on his face.
Both classes agreed with what he said and he smirked. They may be ready for this, not only for the goal but to prove themselves capable of beating the Militia, but they have no idea what they signed up for. Kiralexia then lead them to the device and showed them the entrance. He explained that the more the succeeded, the more difficult it will become, simulating the adapting strategy of each group from each failure. Once the groups were ready they went in and the entry way closed shut, then disappearing.
"Where'd the entrance go?"
"It's gone for now, since they can't leave early during training, not right for soldiers."
"Now hold on-"
"Relax Vlad we can watch YOUR special class up on the monitor that just popped in." Kiralexia stated pointing upwards as he prepared his seat.
Everyone looked up and saw the screen switching to each student group. Midoriya was with Ilda, Mineta had Manga and Jiro of all people, Momo had Kendo, so on and so forth. It was mainly duos, and trios, with only one quadruple group and a solo. That being Sero, Pony, Kirishima, and Kota for quadruple, and Todoroki being solo. Everyone was impressed that they were already split up, but also concerned since each of them were in a different arena.
Many duos had places like forests, urban streets, and run down buildings. In fact most did, with Todoroki being in a field with a city in the distance, and Midoriya was around a burning building with rubble all around them. This was an interesting development even for Kiralexia, who was already sitting down with an umbrella over his eyes. Vlad looked over at him and grabbed him by his collar aggressively.
"Alright start explaining where the heck are my students and why are some of them paired up like this?"
"Because I made it set up to get them to the final fight sooner than later, so it went to THIS way. As to where they are, relax it is simply arenas that these Militia Divisions work best in, or the hero would be better suited for. Though judging how many are war torn areas, I'd say many went for the Militia advantage for those in training." Kiralexia answered pointing at the screen above.
The teachers looked up at it and noticed that most WERE in areas best suited for open conflict. Even IF a few of them were in areas that looked like they were already attacked. This worried the teachers, however not as much as the fact that they didn't know how they'd leave. Without the entrance, they had no way out. Not to mention Kiralexia never explained how to leave the place.
"Okay sure, let's go with that, but that still doesn't explain how they are going to get out?"
"Simple once all tests are completed, the entryway will open again, and they can leave. Of course, there is another way. But for now let's just go and watch YOUR students and mine complete this test. First I wanna see MnM's squad, I am MOST curious about it's success." Kiralexia stated as he sat back down with Eri now sitting right next to him on her own lounge chair provided by Kiralexia.
As of then, the screen flipped over to show Mineta's group with Jiro and Manga. The area they were in looked very traditional with a mix of modernity to it. With traditional Japanese lamps hanging overhead, and shoji screen doors around them in squares. They were in an entryway between a hallway and the screen doors behind them. Already they had begun to move, sensing the danger that lied in front of them, and hid behind the walls outside the hallway.
Jiro stuck her ear jack into the floor to hear in anything was down there. Manga was next to Mineta, who looked terrified but also tried to show SOME form of calm in this moment. It wasn't working obviously, but at least he was trying. Manga looked over at Jiro and asked what was going on.
"I'm hearing people, lot's of them running downstairs."
"Oh great, how many 5, 10?"
"I'd say a little over two dozen of them Mineta."
"WHAT! aren't they expecting a little much out of us?"
"Well to be fair I think some of these soldiers don't even have quirks man."
"Ya but they have guns, and lots of them. we're dead, we should just give up."
"NO! We just started and like hell I'm gonna lose because YOU were a coward Mineta." Jiro exclaimed to Mineta looking angry.
Mineta looked frightened at that threat and shut himself up before he could get beat up. Jiro then looked down the hallway and now all three of them could hear the soldiers running up it. Jiro panicked a little and tried to think of a plan. It was then that Mineta looking around and at Manga, showed what little of a hero was in him by coming up with, a plan.
"Okay I think I can find a way to help us out here. I-I have a plan."
"Okay that's just scary."
"No no, hear me out, we can distract them with speech bubble here and-"
"Manga."
"With Manga while he uses his quirk to get a few of them. After that I can trap them in with my balls and you knock them down with your heartbeat device thing. There, how does that sound?"
"That, actually is a sound plan. Alright we'll try it, BUT I'm blaming you if or when this goes poorly."
"It won't I swear Jiro, come on let's hide while Manga distracts them." Mineta said as he hopped away and ran out of sight. Jiro and Manga then looked at each other before she said something.
'Keep an eye on that punk I don't trust him."
"You got it Miss." Manga replied with thumps up as Jiro ran out of sight as well.
It was at that point that the soldiers began to bust the door open and get in. once the door opened, three soldiers where in front and two more behind them. They where wearing very unique looking armor with helmets that covered there faces. These helmets looked like WWII era American helmet tops mixed with a more modern looking mask and goggles covering the rest of it. The goggles where tinted blue and the one most in front has a design on his mask, that of a sharp teeth smile.
Of course one didn't even have a mask and instead had side burn platting protecting there sides. As for the rest of the armor, it was standard army attire. Army boots, gloves, a few finger less, protective plating on the chest arms and legs. They looked a little cheap but better than what the 21st century had. As for loud out well it was again standard, AK's, pistol side arms, one had a shotgun.
However it looked like most had knifes at there side, and two where carrying spears on there backs. It was definitely a sight to see, Manga would get the full view of it very soon. The soldiers walked in confidently as they had there weapons drawn and ready.
"We've breached the point of target locations Sir. Looking for targets now."
"Excellent work Sargent, report when you find anyone of them."
"Yes sir" The Sargent replied as he put his finger of his Com.
Just then, Manga showed himself arms out in a, don't shoot me, position. The soldiers looked confused and around to find anything out of the ordinary. The Soldiers, then pointed guns at him but the Sargent stopped them and walked up to him personally as the two who walked beside him came closer. He was perplexed by this man with a speech bubble for a head.
"THIS is one of our targets?"
"Apparently so, how the hell are THEY a hero again? They don't look like anything special. Just a man with a speech bubble for a head."
"Can he even see us for that matter?" The soldier to the right of the Sarge asked looking directly at Manga.
Manga's bubble then said 'Dumbasses' and the soldiers noticed. The right one pointed his gun right to it before the Sarge forced it down. He himself looked directly at Manga and knelt right down to him. Face to speech bubble they where with Manga looking away a little.
"It appears he CAN see us, we just can't tell. Put the restraints on him, Commander will want to see this."
"Sir yes Sir."The soldier on his left side saluted for a second before getting hands cuffs on Manga.
It was at that moments that Manga began to speak. The soldiers noticed and tried to hear what he was saying. He was saying muttering, over and over again. This confused the soldiers for why was he speaking like that?
"Is he seriously just saying muttering?"
"It's official this man's insane."
"Uh his quirk IS a speech bubble head right?"
"Yes we can see that why ask?"
"Well then explain what's appearing around us Sir." his right side soldier said looking around them nervously.
They noticed that A LOT of Japanese characters where beginning to swarm them. They were the Japanese characters for 'Muttering' over and over again slowly condensing around the three soldiers. This, in turn surprised them for it seemed to have come out of nowhere. The soldier with a shotgun began to fire at them wildly, with the other two trying to force them away.
"What in the hell is this shit!"
"I believe Speech Bubble here is doing this to us."
"POW! CRASH! KABOOM!" Manga yelled out getting the three to look at him surprised.
"Now what does THAT me sir?"
"THAT!" The Sargent yelled pointing at a wall charging at them from the screen doors. "OUTTA THE WAY! OUTTA THE WAY!" he commanded diving out of the way.
The two next to him dived out as well however, the two behind didn't realize or just couldn't move in time. Either way the two were pushed out of the hallway down the stairway. A loud crash could be heard along with there screaming, signifying they fell to there death. The Sargent looked down the hall and to Manga who began to move away. He fired on him but wasn't able to get a clean shot as Manga was saying, 'Muttering' still.
More Japanese characters formed around the Sargent and this time he shooed them away and shot at one. He was breathing heavily, from dodging the giant ram that came outta nowhere, and from swishing the air away from the characters. His com went on and he got it on.
"Sargent, I just saw two soldiers I sent with you fall to there deaths. What is going on up there?"
"A little difficulty with the damn hero. He got away, and we may need some reinforcements sir."
"I'll see what I can do, Sargent. In the meantime, get that DAMN HERO."
"It will be done sir." The Sargent said turning his com off.
He got his AK ready and turned to the two soldiers who dived to the other side. He nodded to them and all three got up, weapons aimed and ready. They began to move through the broken Shoji screen doors. They looked around the area weapons on standby, and slowly began to notice something. Strange noises where coming from above them. It sounded like skittering and heavy breathing as well. The Sargent knew what that meant and fired above them. His two soldiers looked at him confused as he looked back at him and nodded forward.
As they moved forward they began to hear more strange noises coming from ahead. The Sargent put his hand out in a, hold position, gesture. The three stopped and looked ahead, worried. The Sargent squinted his eyes as he looked over. It was a giant pillar like thing, charging at them as full force.
"RUN!" The Sargent yelled as he and the other two turned away and ran.
They began to run rapidly away from the stone pillar wall rushing towards them. The Sargent and the other two soldiers looked behind them as they saw the wall moving faster to them. At that point the Sargent yelled to dive and all three dive out of the way. This was getting intense even for Militia soldiers.
"Okay that bubble headed FREAK is gonna pay for doing this to us."
"SQUISH!"
"SQUISH?! What does THAT MEAN?" The soldier who dived away from the Sarge asked.
All three then looked up to see a giant stone, thing begin to fall. The soldier who asked, began to scream before diving away quickly. However he wasn't fast enough and got his leg crushed by it. He screamed from the harm and became immobile from the damage. More stone pillars began to form above them and the soldier, being immobile, was crushed under the next one, his gun flying out of his hand.
"SHOTS!" The Sarge yelled to his fallen comrade as he and the other soldier dogged more words.
This time Kiralexia was outside and was impressed with the quirk that Manga had. He wasn't expecting that and found it very useful. The teachers on the other hand were amazed by the soldiers and not only there speed, but there cohesion.
"I must admit Manga's quirk has surprised me, I thought it was worthless but it is quite the opposite. But when will Jirou and MnM be in the plan?"
"I more amazed at how those soldiers keep a cool head in this situation."
"You think that is impressive now, wait till you see a REAL threatening force in the Militia." Kiralexia responded with a smile on his face.
As this was happening with the two remaining soldiers running away from a punch of shit happening behind them, the 'reinforcements' were already up in the hallway. They were looking around seeing, strange purple balls lining the hallway. They were perplexed at the sight, for they looked very new. The same balls were seen with the two running away, and were dodging them as best as possible. They didn't know WHAT they were and didn't want to find out what they did.
One soldier in the hallway was staring intently at one of the balls at eye level. He looked at it scrunching his eyes up before pulling out his knife. He poked at it and nothing happened, barely stuck to, with only the tip staying on it. The soldier impressed at this, pushed his knife deeper into it. The knife then got stuck onto the ball, making the soldier a little annoyed. He then pulled out his pistol and fired at the ball. The bullet stuck to it instantly with only a small, strange purple fluid leaking out.
Now the soldier was getting annoyed and looked at another ball and punched it. It was at this moment that the soldier realized these balls are resilient to being popped, and were also VERY sticky. For his fist was stuck on the ball, stretching the ball out as he tried to pull away from it. Instead of ripping the ball off, or his own hand for that matter, the wall ripped off making the soldier stumble onto more balls on the other wall. This eventually got him stuck to the damn wall struggling to figure out how to get out of this situation.
"What the hell is this shit anyways and why does it feel so strange?" the soldier complained wiggling as best as he can.
Two soldiers only turned to him and looked back up front, while another just entering the hallway looked at them and shook his head in shame. As this happened the soldiers in the hallway began to see between the word wall still there, the Sargent and the soldier running away as fast as they can from the destruction happening behind them. The hallway soldiers looked perplexed before becoming frightened at what was going on behind them. These soldiers began to run two, however two of them got stuck on the balls on the floor and fell to the floor, while the rest ran, except for one trying to pry to soldier stuck to the wall off.
The Sargent looked behind him and knew what would happen if he continued to run forward. So at the last minute, he dived to the left side and slammed his back into the ball free wall, pressing himself against it keeping away from the danger ahead of him. The soldier who ran with him was swept away from the destruction that followed, crushed between the two walls that were in the hall, while the rest were either crushed, pushed away, or even ripped apart. The Sargent looked down the hall and saw his reinforcements turned into mushed, with only the wall soldier really remaining. Though he was knocked out badly bloodied to.
As he hid behind the wall he saw the bubble headed man, a strange ball headed boy, and a girl with ear phone jacks. They were looking around and looked impressed with what they did. Though he did wonder, how the hell did that bubble head get there so fast? Through the ceilings?
"Well I'm impressed this worked so well."
"Told ya it would. how you holding up Manga?"
"A little horse but I'll live." Manga replied holding his neck from strain. All three then looked around again and Mineta then picked up an assault rifle.
"Well at least now we can actually do what Kiralexia suggested, kill these men."
"Nope." Manga said whipping the firearm out of Mineta's hand.
He then handed him a tiny pistol that fit in his whole hand. He looked at it a little annoyed but didn't complain and aimed it mockingly ready to fire. Jiro and Manga chuckled at the sight and cleared there throats for the next step of there plan.
"Okay we took out what close to ten of them? Maybe we should go down and take them out where they think they're strongest."
"I like that idea. Alright you knock em out with your device, while me and Manga sneak up behind them to take the rest standing down." Mineta stated as all three began to walk downstairs.
This was intense even for the Sargent. He knew that this would need more fire power than they had on them, or better stealth tech to sneak up on that bubble headed freak that took out a good chunk of his mean. He turned on his com-link and began to speak to his commander complaining on what had happened.
"Sir these heroes are stronger than we first thought. They plan on taking you out right there. Perhaps we should flee and regroup before-" before he could finish, he heard a loud strange noise coming from his com-link.
He held his ear in pain and turned off his com-link. Only then did he realize that the noise could be heard from the stairway as loud as ever. That was a sign for the Sargent, that his men and commander had been overwhelmed by one of the heroes. This was pushing it to far for him, now he was pissed. He decided that if he can't take all of the heroes, he'd take down at least one. He got his AK ready and walked out the hallway, and to the cold metal, brick stairway.
As he walked down he could hear gunshots firing with loud slumps of bodies. As he walked he knew who to attack first. Once down he saw the scene ahead of him. Mineta and Manga struggling to fire upon the soldiers, who had set up a front line in the main entrance to the building. Bodies were falling, and men were screaming from the pain. Jirou however, was standing on the side line, only firing at soldiers aiming at her. 'Perfect' the Sargent thought as he began to sneak up on Jirou.
He went up behind her and grabbed her by the collar and brought her into Assault rifle firing range. He looked at the other two, firing away, while also dogging bullets themselves, and smiled viciously. His Commander was still alive and using his pistol as he himself dodged the bullets. The Sargent fired into the air and put his rifle butt to Jirou's face.
"ALRIGHT LISTEN UP FUCKERS! I AM SARGENT HOWITZER AND I'M ABOUT HAD IT WITH YOU BASTARDS KILLING MY MEN! TURN YOURSELVES IN NOW OR YOUR FRIEND WILL GET IT!" The Sargent yelled out in rage, breathing heavily.
Mineta and Manga looked at each other before making a step forward. Howitzer was not having it and fired at the ground to them. This was serious and it was starting to scare the hell out of Jirou. If those two weren't gonna save her, she'll save herself, but how? She looked around and saw Howitzer's foot exposed. Before she could plan out what to do after that the Commander clapped his hands together with a smile on his face.
"Excellent Sargent you've proven yourself to the Militia today. I'll make sure to promote you after we take these three bastards in."
"All in a days work sir." Howitzer said with a smile on his face.
Jirou saw her opportunity and smashed her foot into Howitzer's foot. He screamed out a little and only loosened his grip a little. It was just enough for Jirou to move her arms and shoot Howitzer right in the face. The Commander looked shock and was about to shoot at her, before getting hit in the head by Manga and his own assault rifle. All three looked around and saw the bodies pilled up. Jirou looked at the two and smiled a little.
However she didn't realize that Howitzer survived the shot and put his assault rifle up to Jirou's back. He then had a pistol in his other hand pointed at the other two. He was breathing heavily, blood dripping from his mouth, and his teeth show.
"You've fucked up little girl. Now you're gonna pay for that." Howitzer stated through a growl.
Jirou, quickly turned around knocking the rifle barrelaway as he fired it. This time Jirou pointed her gun right into Howitzer's head and pulled the trigger. Bits of brain spewed out as she fired, and Howitzer this time fell. Blood was spilling, and pooling on the ground around him. The last four soldiers looked around and put there arms up in the air, weapons dropped.
"Okay you guys win, PLEASE don't hurt us." one said nervously as he put his knees to the ground.
Mineta, Manga, and Jirou were happy with how this went, and made sure the last four soldiers didn't do anything stupid. Handcuffed and forced to the ground they sat there, defeated as there brothers and even sisters, were fallen, either knocked out, or dead. Jirou walked up to Mineta who was trying someone up with one of his balls. She sighed heavily and patted his shoulder. He looked back at her surprised at that motion.
"Not half bad plan Mineta, not half bad. Maybe try more of those and I might actually think your more than just the biggest pervert in UA."
"Um thanks Jirou, though I don't think this will happen often."
"Fine then, let's go, I want to get to the next test now." Jirou stated as she began to walk to the entrance, which was a BRIGHT white light.
The light probably represented, the exit from the scenario. Mineta looked at Manga with a big grin and a small blush. Manga just looked annoyed at that and told him to come on. The three then walked out the door and the screen went white, showing the words "First test group completed.'.
Kiralexia was impressed with what had happened, Mineta, of all people, had a plan. Not only that but it went well for that matter, well pretty good for a plan by him. Kiralexia nodded at that and smiled a little at how the first group they saw did.
"I must admit, MnM had impressed me. I thought he'd be more of a coward than that. Maybe my training is finally working with him."
"You'd be surprised with that man. He has his moments, they're just few and far between."
"Understatement of the Millennia Erasure. Though now you know, just what it takes to get these soldiers down." Kiralexia stated smiling a little.
Most of the group outside where still looking at the screen and noticed it changing. It was switching from group to group, not really sticking for long, but staying for at least a few minutes. Things like Ilda and Midoriya knocking many of the soldiers away with winds, with only a few dead from impacts. Tsuyu and Ochako, dealing with an aquatic soldier group by tossing them off and shooting with pistols. Then Kendo and Tetsutetsu just crushing guns and armored support left and right. Of course Todoroki was burning men and freezing them in walls of ice.
It was a rather chaotic sight to say the least. Most of the teachers where impressed, the heroes, were conflicted. Fat Gum and the other heroes with the work study students felt strange seeing there students causing such death. Miruko was smiling and laughing a little at the quick flip from knocking enemies out to just killing them. Then Hawks was intrigued the device itself. He took this opportunity to get right next to Kiralexia's side and begin a conversation with him.
"Hey man, how are you? I'm sure you've heard of me on the news, don't flatter."
"Who the heck are you again?" Kiralexia asked turning over to Hawks. He looked a little upset at that but not much.
"Ow I'm Hawks, number two pro hero."
"Oh well good for you man, great quirk. could've saved my ass against All For One."
"So about this device, how does judge you? Though better yet, how are the soldiers programmed?"
"Well if all the soldiers in the area are either dead surrendered, or subdued in some form or another, you are considered passing. I made it specifically so it wouldn't cripple you for only subduing them. As for the soldiers, well that's the magic of some damn good programming. it's all random, making new retorts, new tactics, it adapts to the situation. Something that would probably make even YOU sweat from there tactics." Kiralexia explained looking at Hawks very smugly.
Hawks looked a little surprised at that statement. If this training simulation was strong enough to make even him sweat, what would that mean to the other members of the Militia? Would they themselves even break a little from this training? Hawks looked up at the screen seeing Tokoyami and his partner scaring and sneak attacking the soldiers. He then looked back at Kiralexia who still looked smug at his comment.
"So what you're saying is that even YOU struggled with this training?"
"It, varied from time to time. It was more difficult than you'd think. Sure anyone with a good quirk is worth at the very least a Battalion of soldiers, but a well equipped, well planned army is worth a dozen 'heroes'."
"Even the core? Would the Nomu's even struggle with this?"
"You are a curious one, but hard to say. A Nomu is worth ten week heroes at least, but an army of the Militia's finest, even I can't figure that out. As for the core, well take a guess, I'd be impressed if all survive THAT test."
"That test?"
"The core, remember that will be the final test, AND the most difficult. Not even Bakugou, Shoto, or even that kid will come out unscathed."
"Speaking of young Bakugou, how is his test going?"
"Hm, good question, let's take a look at that." Kiralexia answered the All Might, and made the TV flip to Bakugou.
The first thing they saw, a bunch of soldiers firing away from the screen while also running for there lives. Many were screaming in terror while a few stayed to fight on. On even used a gattling gun with, minimal effect. They could here what they were saying and it was rather vulgar. Kiralexia looked at Eri and she covered her ears the second she began to hear things she knew could get her favorite machine in trouble.
"Fuck this I didn't sign up to die to a psycho hero!"
"EVERYONE SCATTER THIS MAN'S CRAZY!"
"SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!" Where some of a the things said, among others.
Mainly it was panicked phrases and soldiers trying there best to keep composure. It wasn't working and t he whole scene looked chaotic. Among this was Bakugou himself who was having the time of his goddamn life. He was flying in the air with his explosions and a smiled on his face. Behind him was Kaminari who was trying his best to keep up the pace. Everyone outside was a mixed between unsurprised and disappointed. Kiralexia put his hand on his head looking truly disappointed at the soldiers and Bakugou.
"Willing to die you say?"
"Shut up, you'd run to if you saw a man like HIM just flying towards you with a twisted smile on his face."
"Fair enough. Besides this WILL help him in the future of his career right?"
"Eh depends on what you mean. Heroes kill right?" Kiralexia asked raising his head from his hand.
The group looked worried at that but before they can answer they heard a loud explosion from the TV. They looked and saw a soldier pinned by Bakugou who looked very much dead. He then launched himself and went right for a well defended area. Sandbags piled up with machine guns behind them and soldiers manning them. A commander with a 1940's style traditional officer coat and hat was on them, with a revolver in one hand and knife in the other.
He was commanding the situation as best as he can with minimal effect. Soldiers where still running away with some staying behind defenses shooting back. The commander looked at one soldier who past him and grabbed his shoulder stopping him.
"Why do you run soldiers, these aren't even the worst we've faced."
"Do YOU want to die to THAT man?!" The soldier asked pointing at Bakugou who was closing in on them. The officer looked a little worried but didn't run and instead turned to his gunners.
"Men open fire on that man. We will NEVER SURRENDER!" The officer commanded to the men with vigor.
All the soldiers accepted it and began to fire. Bullets fly across the air with whizzing noises. Only a few amount actually hit Bakugou with grazing shots, for he was using his other hand to blow the area around him clear from them. When he finally arrived to the position, he punched the officer down with a small explosion to the chest. He then turned to the other soldiers and began to blow them all to hell one by one.
Some tried to defend and fire, but it was in vain. Bakugou was merciless to these soldiers. As for Kaminari, he disappeared from sight, with all the smoke in the way. Bakugou was laughing and only barely struggling with these soldiers. He had pinned a soldier to the ground who was flailing and panicking, kicking a punching as best as he could. Bakugou's furrowed brows and sneering face was over this woman actually, who looked terrified.
"Alright you bastard, tell me which one of you is worth a REAL damn challenge? All I've faced is WORTHLESS EXTRAS!"
"I-I-I don't know man, just get off of me you sick fucker!"
"Oi you've definitely deserve what coming bastard." Bakugou said with his hand right over the soldiers face.
"I'd beg to differ jackass!" The officer exclaimed right behind Bakugou.
He smacked Bakugou, who looked a little surprised at the assault. The soldier who was pinned got back up with a pistol ready. Bakugou looked up at the officer with a bruise on his cheek. His eyes dilated and he launched himself at the officer. The officer quickly moves and begins to fire upon Bakugou.
This goes on for a little while with only small scratches on the officer with a larger cut on his shoulder with a blast mark on it. Bakugou on the other hand had a few scratches as well from the pistol, and one grazing shot on his right arm that was bleeding out a little. He put his hand on it breathing heavily while the officer was smiling with his pistol out and aimed at the air. The soldier had also fired though she was to busy trying to move away from the two.
"I must admit young one, you're stronger than we thought. you'd make an excellent addition to the Militia if you actually had restraints. But you know what they say, higher they are farther they fall. Any last word dickhead?" The officer asked pointing his pistol right to Bakugou's head.
"Ya, ever heard of lightning?" Bakugou said with a smile on his face looking behind the officer.
"What, of course I do. What the hell does THAT mean?" The officer asked raising an eyebrow.
Suddenly Kaminari came up behind the officer putting a disk on his coat. He then used his electricity to electrify the officer. The officer screamed in pain as the electricity coursed through his body. His coat began to burn up a little and his hair stood on end. By the end he looked a little charred and went onto his knees to the ground. Bakugou got back up from his own knees and blew up the other soldier before they could even retort back to Kaminari. He walked over to the officer who was dazed and looked up at him with a sneer.
"You sick bast-" Before he could finish Bakugou blew his face off and he fell to the ground with blood dripping onto the ground. Bakugou looked over at Kaminari and smiled a little.
"Not half bad, NEXT TIME MOVE FASTER!"
"Hey cut me some slack. You moved so fast it was hard to keep up." Kaminari complained as Bakugou began to move to the exit that appeared before them.
The two left and the whole group outside looked in awe. Kiralexia looked a little uneasy at this moment mainly for how Bakugou looked a little unhinged. The rest of the teachers and even heroes were speaking to one another complimenting his determination in this test, but also hating how he killed without mercy. Kiralexia looked back at them then back to the screen which switched around once again.
"Man that was brutal even on MY standards. He'd make an excellent soldier for the Militia." He said to himself still looking uneasy.
At that moment they began to hear something else from the distance. Footsteps and yelling, that of a females voice. They looked over to the main UA building and began to see dust fly up into the air. Accompanying that is Hatsume who was running as fast as she could with some special boots she had.
"BABY!" She was screaming as she ran with Kiralexia not even looking all that surprised.
When she finally arrived to Kiralexia's side, she immediately began to check up on him. She was huddled up on him with a wrench and other tools, trying her best to try and 'fix' him. Everyone looked at this scene unfolding and Kiralexia was trying his best to keep her from his head. He looked up at everyone with an unphased look on his face.
"I've gotten use to this. I expected her to come when my back nearly broke." Kiralexia said still keeping Mei at bay.
Eventually Kiralexia would allow her to work on his head and his back where he turned his chair around and laid down on it. Upgrades and 'fixes' would begin and the test would continue. The whole test and thing would continue for about 30 to 40 minutes, it was hard to tell. What was certain was the fact that these students moved WAY faster than they thought.
They split up even when there groups got bigger to deal with split offs. The squads and groups of Militia members they faced got harder and more skilled as they went one. Some with better armor and weapons, a few had what looked like prototypes for actual laser weapons. Some more air based, such as attack helicopters and jet troopers. And one group with Deku's and Mineta's groups mixed with Todoroki, dealt with goddamn vehicles and artillery. It was truly a show of force that the Militia was more than just infantry, but a fully funded
Mineta had another one of his moments when he stopped some ATV's and technical from flanking there position with his balls. Some wheels fell off while others just got stuck. It was effective and gave them the victory when Deku made wind blow artillery away and caused the commander of this unit to have a broken rib cage as they slinked across the wall. It was a sight to be sure and one that cause Kiralexia much joy.
Ashido's group mix dealt with another large squad of what looked like plague doctors. The 60th Caretakers of The Plagues, a deadly toxin group that gave Ashido's group a run for there money. They won of course, but not without some serious wounds and damage. As for the others well, the 12th Comintern was a very unique force for a class 1-B group. The 72nd Twisted vines, was a very nature based group that gave Shiozaki one hell of a run. Then there was the Nachtwache a German division with some HELL of fire power that almost got there first student down.
They didn't but that group alone gave many outside a second thought that maybe the Militia really WAS a deadly force. Of course it didn't help that they then saw a truly deadly force for the next group. The Death Marchers, wearing skull helmets with blackened visors. Armor was black with white lines around and some wore cloaks. They had heavy weapons, spoke with a very mechanical voices, and moved VERY coordinated.
This group dealt with Kirishima's group when his mixed three times, and MAN did they struggle. They may have had 10 with pretty good quirks but that wasn't enough for heavy weapon detachments, coordinated attacks, and a commander who he alone struck fear into them. It would take a good 15 minuted outside for them to FINALLY win against them but three got hurt pretty badly and the rest were worn down. Hell they may have one but only because they MADE the commander give the order after a one on one against Sero and Kirishima.
Everyone outside the dome looked on in awe. The whole scenario was incredibly deadly and showed just what the best could do with heroes. Kiralexia simply smiled at it as he realized that this was the beginning of the whole world to realize that the Militia was strong enough to deal with pros. That sadly would leave a little when Midoriya's group came up.
Instead of the usual defend, they where inside an outpost of the Militia with the 307th Steel Infantry Brigade manning it. It was a large group a little larger than a brigade but smaller than a Division, and it was like the other ones before but still had strength. The moment in question had three guards in the brigades armor and color, with rifles and leather skirts on. The whole group of Midoriya was there with Ashido, Ilda, and Midoriya looking out with everyone else hiding behind.
They came up with a plan so DUMB that even Kiralexia outside looked confused and Midoriya was dumbfounded at it. They would use Ashido and Midoriya to distract the guards as everyone else snuck behind them. The two got out and looked very nervous. The guards looked at them confused, guns aimed at them. Ashido in a bit of panic began to swing her arms side to side. Clapping her arms from one side then to the other swinging her arms and her body as she did this. The soldier's looked VERY confused, before one of them began to get in on it. Then the other with only one trying to reason with them.
It was fruitless and he decided to join in. Midoriya was completely confused at this but didn't argue and began to dance to. Everyone outside looked completely dumbfounded by this. Kiralexia SMACK his hand to his head looking incredibly annoyed that THAT worked. Of all the things to distract people a stupid dance did it and they got away with it.
"I can't believe that actually worked. If she does that in a real situation with the League I'm losing it." Kiralexia said groaning a little.
"Hey it was effective, I might keep that in mind next time a see some villains when I work."
"Oh please at least with yours it'd be a bit more, shall we say, seductive." Kiralexia mocked Midnight by swaying his hips in a mock seductive way.
Midnight then punched him in the head causing him to put his hands on his head. He apologized a little before getting distracted by screaming on the screen. Looks like Midoriya's group had run into a MUCH larger group of the 307th. They were a mix of running, and trying to fight back against these soldiers. This would later devolve into a giant fight in a big open area, with heavy armor wearing units, close quarter fighters, and just regular soldiers as well. Though in this area they did seem to have in the open area, with an open upper floor platform, was a rather small mech. It's design was two large bipedal legs with clamp feet, two heavy weapon guns, one machine gun the other high caliber auto cannon. The main body was basically just a pod with heavy glass plated with thick metal and a unique design on the glass. With lines moving to the sides of the body in curve shapes.
The machine alone was enough to cause the heroes next to Kiralexia to stare in awe. Eri herself, who was eating a bit of candy Fat Gum gave her, also couldn't help but stare at it an amazement. The image of the fact that the Militia had enough funds to build THAT things, well if the tanks weren't enough this sold the deal. The Militia was powerful and truly a force to be reckoned with. However it did raise the question as to HOW they got that money.
"Okay you guys had mechs, the power armor was one thing but THIS! Just how much funding did the Militia get?"
"Well remember we ARE mercenaries, that means jobs on both sides. Plus other governments and countries helped fund us before for OTHER things, sooooooo, yaaaa. Take a guess." Kiralexia responded looking at Aizawa.
While they were speaking of that, Midoriya had punched an armored soldier into the leg of the mech. They looked up at it and began to get into it, closing the pod with his hands over the controls and the engine beginning to start. It's legs began to stand upright and guns whirred, it stepped off it's platform and aimed right at the hero group in the middle of the room. Midoriya and the others looked at this thing in horror and began to slowly make a defensive wall. The machine gun fired from one end of the room to the other and the whole group ducked for cover as the bullets sprayed across the room.
The soldiers laughed as the heroes began to hide from the giant death machine. All of them began to panic as they had never expected to face a goddamn Mech. It didn't help that the soldiers were also trying to fire upon them as well. They were trying to make a plan but the panic and the noise of the high caliber auto cannon made it difficult to think. Midoriya was looking around and immediately made a plan. Simply he and Uraraka attacked the soldiers above, while the rest either distracted the mech or destroyed it.
The plan was in motion, Midoriya jumped up to the second floor and attacked, while Uraraka, instead got the Mechs attention. It fired it's auto cannon at her while Ilda began to knock other soldiers around the area down. Ashido used her acid against soldiers as well while also charging at the mech which seemed to be struggling at targeting. Once her and Tsuyu got the chance, they attacked the mech, with Ashido's acid melting one of the legs and Froppy forcibly moving the auto cannon away from the group.
The creaking of metal could be heard as the leg slowly melted away. However before the mech began to fall over, Ashido melted the machine gun causing it to look very unpleasant. The mech then fell over as it's melted leg snapped off, with it's body cracking around it's side. Ashido, being shot at by soldiers for a split second before Jirou with a rifle and Ilda attacked them, began to melt the body away from the mech. It shattered open and Ashido picked the pilot up and overhead threw them to the other side of the room. Body making a dent into the well, and soldier basically passed out.
The battle then continued before most of the heroes decided that it was better to run from the group of soldiers instead of staying and fight. However before leaving, Ashido rigged to Mech with her acid, to explode. So as they left the mech slowly began to smock more and more, before blowing up taking a good chunk of soldiers with it. The hero group continued to run, finding there way in another big open area. This one had boxes all over and parked vehicles in another area. It became well aware that THIS was the garage of the place.
It took a bit to think if it would be better to flee now or take them all out now. On one hand if they left now they could regroup and take the whole place down. On the other hand if they killed them all now, it would cripple the Militia pretty well. However Midoriya and Ilda both looked at each other as everyone else was arguing about it, and came up with something.
"If this was training for the Militia which is a Mercenary company, it's safe to say that they would be taught to leave to fight another day. Not to mention I believe even Kiralexia would allow this for we can at least cripple the position for a short while, while we regroup."
"Sounds good, let's go, but first I'd say we should rig a section of this place to blow up. Maybe the armory, or perhaps the generators."
"We can take both out if we split up. Jirou, you Ashido and Tsuyu will rig the generator, Mineta, Manga, and Shiozaki, deal with the armory."
"But this is such a sinful act, oh I do hope they may forgive me."
"THEY FIRED ON US! Ugh look, you may not like it but it will save us, and that's what heroes do right?"
"I suppose your right, I will do it, but I shall hope there souls find mercy above."
"okaaaayyyyyy. Anyways Midoriya Uraraka and I will get some vehicles ready for our getaway. This will ALSO help get there attention on us instead. You got all that?" Ilda asked with everyone nodding in agreement. "Okay, we all have our goals. let's do them and GO!" Ilda said and began to get down to the Vehicles, with Midoriya and Uraraka.
Just to remind there there ARE guards here, heavy armor, normal soldiers, and what looks like drones flying overhead with pistols. They looked around, saw an opening and took it, surprise attacking the soldiers, knocking down drones and soldiers. This attack was fast and easy, quickly taking out most of the guards and drones in the area. However as for the soldiers that survived that explosion from earlier, they came in and began to shoot at them. Uraraka looked up and slowly began to float up to there position. She attacked pulling one of there guns off and making another float away.
As the Garage was being attacked, Ashido's group was making it to the generator. The generator room was filled with soldiers, some looking, moving, and sounding like droids. Kiralexia confirmed this saying that, the droids helped with support and other jobs like the generator. They were working on panels with orange hued generator coils running along in two rows. Two of the soldiers were walking to the door of the room just as the hero group was making it's way there.
"Hey you worry that the heroes will attack us here."
"Don't be stupid reports say they're in the garage. we'll be fine" the other droid said just as the door opened revealing Ashido and the others.
"AH I was right!"
"Oh crap." the other droid responded looking a little down.
Ashido and the others attacked, knocking the two droids down. The other soldiers looked over and began to fall one by own. One getting acid to the face exclaiming 'My eyes!" another getting tossed into another by Tsuyu. The final one was panicking as Jirou was walking up to them with a darkened look on her face.
"Oh god please not the face!" They exclaimed very panicked and frightened.
Jirou smacked them in the chest knocking them down, head smacked against a metal pole, knocking them unconscious. Ashido, Jirou and Tsuyu were now looking at the panels and began to attempt to rig it to blow up. It wasn't going well, and Ashido finally decided to just melt it causing it to melt down in about three minutes.
As for the other group, well they went to the armory found no one in it, and just took some explosives and rigged a time bomb inside it to destroy it. Once they got that, plus some helmets, they left going back to the garage. The garage had become a mess, with soldiers flying, guns firing, and about two ATV's taken for the group to flee in. Uraraka had taken up position in the machine gun in one of them and had pinned down the soldiers above them.
Overall this whole scene and testing area looked chaotic. It was a good thing that Jirou used her sound quirk to knock soldiers down with the noised, otherwise this would've gotten far bloodier. They two groups met up, saw the ATV's with Midoriya in one and Ilda in the other, and ran to them. They all got in both of them with Ashido on top of the other machine gun and fled. The soldiers ran out looking defeated and hearing a huge explosion coming from the hall. The generator AND the armory had been destroyed.
Kiralexia applauded how they deduced that it would be better to cripple them and flee than stay and fight a losing battle. it's not how HE would do it, but found it effective and creative. As for the last two groups of 20, both a mix of class 1-A and 1-B. With Midoriya leading one and Bakugou the other, they would face the worst challenge yet. Midoriya's group would face off a heavy armor division called The Cyclopes Walkers, which was a MUCH bigger mech based unit. Bakugou's faced The Guardians, a group of well trained, well equipped and highly skilled soldiers.
The Cyclopes armor looked well like cyclopes, with some having painted giant eyes in the front of there face, while The Guardians wore armor that looked golden with flowing capes behind them. That was the senor soldiers, the average ones still had golden painted armor with a paladin look to them. The Cyclopes weapons were usual soldier weapons, with grenade launchers and heavy turrets being the main. The Guardians weapons were close quartered with spears both of Medieval Europe and the Naginata of Japan, halberds, and pistols of heavy look and sound.
Kiralexia was not kidding when he said that the Militia was decked out with some of the most deadliest soldiers alive. These two final groups before the last would be hell. Midoriya's group would struggle with heavy weapon detachments and mechs of varying size, style and weapons all firing and trying to kill them. Bakugou's was also hell since these Guardians were really good at close quarters, some even going fist to fist with Kirishima and Tetsutetsu. However it would still be a nightmare to deal with.
Both of them would take close to 20 to 30 minutes just to complete it. Midoriya's was a close 25 minutes due to the fact that many, Jirou, and Uraraka for example, decided to just take some of the mechs and use them for there own victory. A lot of blood, explosions, and retreats were done during that moment. Bakugou's was almost 40 minutes due to the fact that while Bakugou was great at taking out some of the soldiers, The Guardians were no joke. A lot of blades were spinning and while Yaoyorozu, Sero and others did great stalling, The Guardians were strong and quick to react to it.
By the end of it Bakugou's was far more damaged than Midoriya's due to that fact. Though Midoriya's was more spread out, Bakugou's were more a select amount, Sero, Pony, and Monoma for example. This marked the end of most of the training for the classes being split up. Overall it has gone well, everyone succeeded to some extent, with the most being cuts and some minor bullet wounds. Of course black eyes as well though not that much. Everyone outside was impressed with this, Nejire expressing how Midoriya showed great skills in the face of such odds. Midnight and everyone said how different the two worked with groups, with Bakugou allowing more split off of ideas while Midoriya had more uniform idea. Now they waited for the final test to be shown.
As they waited both groups united to one in one giant blackened room. The room had a haze of dark clouds surrounding them. They all looked confused by this turn of events before a sudden noise cam from above them. They looked over and saw a giant warning sign come on above them.
Warning
The final test will begin shortly. This test will be the worst out of all others, facing not just elite members, but also veterans of many battles. These members will make the most deadliest villains look like jokes. However all wounds will be healed before you enter to make it fair. Yet blood will be spilled and there WILL be death. Do you wish to proceed?
Yes/No
This was what the warning said. It's emphasis on death was unnerving, of course there will be death, they'd been killing soldiers for the past hour or so. Yet the way it was said or presented, sounded odd. Many students looked at each other worried about just what they will face and if it can be completed. Midoriya looked at all of them got there attention and spoke about how they came this far and they can't bow down just yet. So with that he and Kendo walked up to the Yes button and pressed it. The room shifted to a blinding light and Kiralexia outside smiled wickedly to himself for what the students just signed up for.
"And now the REAL test begins." Kiralexia said with a twisted smile. The final test will begin.
