Chapter 16
Enhanced Deals
After leaving the Vietnamese coastline, they had been on the move to Japan full speed. At this point in time the sun had come out and was now, while covered by the clouds above, was showing that it was rather high in the air. Hopefully UA wouldn't be to mad at Kiralexia just leaving them so early. As for the meeting about the Whispering Siren, well that was already in affect. Many of the captains of the other ships had moved onto the flagship and had begun discussions IN the cafeteria, for the room and easy access to food mainly. Kiralexia was apart of it due to being, well the original Pirata Lord.
The discussion was mainly three options. One do we kill her and those loyal to her as a message to others? Two do we let her live and let her go? Third and finally, do we allow her to join the crew as a full fledged member? So far it was going between joining or killing and it was rather even surprisingly. Kiralexia was kinda on either listening to both and throwing in his points on both parts equally.
Needless to say, this discussion was long, drawn out, and REALLY boring. Kiralexia had yawned a few times hearing many of them throw insults at her, and others defend her. Jack himself leaned towards him once and had whispered things on the moment to Kiralexia. Eventaully Jack had enough and decided to say that he was fully willing to have her apart of the crew.
"And why is that Lord? She tried killing us just today dammit."
"Well the reason being she has skills, we all know how she uses strategy to her advantage. She didn't know of the heroes and Kiralexia being with us, if we didn't have them we would be forced to leave the area. Not to mention her quirk is skilled against our enemies, thus I figured we can use her to take care of our enemies with ease." Jack said gesturing with his hands.
The many down here looked at each other and quietly talked to one another. At the same time a Pirate with wrinkled and dirty clothes came downstairs breathing heavily. Jack looked over at him silenced everyone and asked what was the matter.
"Well remember how we have a member of UA with us."
"Technically two here but yes I do know that. We are on our way bringing them back home now."
"Don't call me a member of UA, I'm part time dammit."
"Yes well that may be an issue sir."
"Why say that?"
"Um, we have some visitors coming that are from UA. Along with Ryukyu."
"WHAT!?" Jack and Kiralexia exclaimed running up to get to the deck.
Once they got up they looked around and no one was on the deck thankfully. However they did hear a loud voice calling to the fleet. They looked up to the left saw nothing then the right. A small group of figured was there coming in rather quickly. Jack began to sweat and grabbed a telescope. Low and behold it really was Ryukyu flying to them with Todoroki and Uraraka on her back. Next to her was Midoriya on her right and Nejire on her left. Kiralexia swiped the telescope out of Jacks hand and looked as well.
"Oh shit, they brought Midoriya as well?"
"That's Midoriya? How is he even flying like that?"
"He's fingering the air."
"Oh, pffft. Now's not the time for jokes man."
"I make bad jokes when I'm nervous. Oh I am SO screwed."
"You're screwed? When they get here I'm dead."
"Whelp time to get Tsu."
"No need, already here. You're right we ARE screwed kero." Tsuyu said beginning to stand up from behind a box.
Kiralexia took a deep breath and Jack began to walk away a little. He looked at his crew and said to NOT FIRE A SINGLE SHOT! He knew they where so dead, but firing on them would make things so much worse. Everyone listened out of fear and concern, and awaited for the heroes to get there. Selkie had come out with a mug of, tea, looked up and spat it out when he realized what was going on.
It would only take a few minutes for the heroes to get onto the ship and prepare for an attack. Many pirates DID get into the position but never moved closer. Ryukyu hovered right next to the ship while the other heroes where on the ship in fighting positions. Kiralexia sighed heavily as he saw some of the pirates running for there lives. He looked over and saw Jack give the most frightened face he made since the days of the villain-Militia war. He gave a deep breath before clearing his throat and speaking.
"H-Hi Ryukyu. How have you be-"
"SILENT VILLAIN!"
"Yes ma'am." Jack said in a squeaky voice. Kiralexia looked at him dumbfounded at the response.
"Really? That's your response?"
"Shut up I'm not dying to a damn dragon." Jack whispered lowly to Kiralexia sweat dripping down his face.
Midoriya was the first to step forward and gave a stern face to Kiralexia who just accepted it. He was about to explain himself but Midoriya wasn't having it. He smacked him in the face with his quirk charged up and his face reeled back hard. Everyone was shocked for that was not a good idea unless you wanted to piss Kiralexia off.
"You idiot why did you leave UA like that?!"
"Yell at me all you want but at least let us finish dealing with the Whispering Siren dammit."
"Fine but whose that?"
"A Pirata Lord like I but a woman of deadly skills and effective skills. One FAR to strong for you lad." Jack said looking over to Midoriya.
Midoriya turned over to him looking rather angered. He walked up to him preparing to fight. Jack didn't look scared at all instead giving him a stern look. He crossed his arms as he saw Midoriya pointing at his face.
"I'll have you know that I face Chisaki and won. Along fighting a Nomu, what the hell have you done?"
"Firstly that Overhaul man was a fluke and you had that little girl helping you. And the Nomu was All Might all you did was punch it's stomach and nothing else. As for me well I had faced many villains and warlords in my days. Even facing off All For One's fleet on my own. Tell me boy, what have you done on your own?" Jack asked leaning downwards to stare Midoriya down hard.
"I can knock you out with a single flick of my finger. don't test me villain."
"I'd love to see you try boy." Jack whispered in a low growl like tone giving one hard stare to Midoriya who gave an angered stare back.
Kiralexia could feel the sparks of hatred from them just from the stares. He began to sweat a little knowing a fight was not advised at this moment. He grabbed Midoriya by the shoulder and pulled him away.
"Alright let's calm down and NOT cause a big ass scene right now? I'd rather not start a fight this moment. Plus he was already gonna bring us back so don't worry."
"He thinks he's stronger and better than me? Has he ever saved an abused girl?"
"Let it go boy. Also he has saved people, many in his crew are those he saved and protected. So maybe watch that tongue of yours BOY. Anyways let's just get to dealing with the Siren alright Jack?"
"Tch fine, but HE and other heroes stay on the deck and THAT'S it." Jack said pointing down on the ship.
He walked back down to the cafeteria leaving Midoriya a little stunned but still mad. Kiralexia looked at everyone who calmed down and smiled nervously. He waved as he back down to the cafeteria quickly going down to the meeting. The heroes decided to go on the ship and wait.
It only took like a minute maybe two for everyone to agree that, yep, the Siren can live and be apart of the crew. They got up dragged her out of the Brig and told her what was to happen. She was surprised but looked over, saw the heroes, and realized why. She looked back at Jack and nodded accepting the deal. She would be next to Jack at all times to assure loyalty and a sense of brotherhood with the crew. A strange deal but considering it was rushed no one complained.
Jack took a breath of relief and looked over at the heroes. He saw Todoroki and Midoriya right in front of him ready to attack. A bit of sweat dripped down his face as he stared down the two heroes. Kiralexia knocked them back with his tail and stood next to Jack defensively.
"Listen we won't get anywhere if we just stay here and fight each other. I've already said they were bringing me and Tsu home already. The least they can do is finish that promise. isn't that fine with you heroes?" Kiralexia explain raising an eyebrow. Todoroki and Midoriya looked at each other before sighing and agreeing.
"Fine but we're staying on the ship to make sure nothing happens." Midoriya said staring Jack down.
Jack rolled his eyes as Midoriya walked over to the side and sat down. Kiralexia patted his back and said that it would be a LONG trip. Suddenly Kiralexia heard a voice familiar to him. He looked and saw Eri in a little blue coat looking at him a little sad. He ran over to her and hugged her a little before looking her in the face.
"Little Horn why are you here?"
"I heard you where gone and I insisted in seeing you."
"I'm sorry for that it's just, old lives I had a lot of friends. I was so lonely and afraid of not seeing them again that I just had to. Please do not be angry at me."
"It's fine but tell me at least."
"I'll make sure Little Horn. Now do you wanna say hi to Jack?"
"Is he nice?"
"I'd like to think I am Little one." Jack said walking up to Kiralexia and Eri. He leaned down on one knee and met to Eri eye to eye, well as close to that as he could.
"So you're Eri right?" He asked immediately getting a nervous nod. "Well don't fear me, I am harmless to little ones. I see no point hurting those so small, come I'd like to ask something. How would you feel if I gave you an apple in turn you give something to me."
"What's that?"
"Like I said come and we shall discuss." Jack said walking side by side with Eri down the ship.
Kiralexia was gonna argue but quickly was forced with the other heroes practically imprisoned with them. He sighed and accepted only sitting down as the heroes stared him down and tried arguing at him. He just listened and allowed there anger to flow.
After about another hour or three possibly, the finally began seeing the shoreline from where they once where. The car Kiralexia drove was gone now, and the boat Selkie used last night was now in deck. Oh ya Kiralexia copied himself to drive the boat back home. Kiralexia hoped it disappeared now or else now the secret of his existence was now out the window. Though the site of him just laying on the deck where no one was around, quenched it quickly.
Eri had come up with Jack and Jack had little stickers and make up on his face. Kiralexia stifled a chuckle and Uraraka spat a little chuckling like crazy. Jack simply gave a neutral face as he let Eri go and went to Midoriya. Soon after they stopped, a few miles away from the deck, simple because there fleet was just to large to dock. So instead they went to the smaller ships and landed like that. However before that Kiralexia noted the amount of heroes from UA and even Miriko, Fat Gum, and Hawks where there. Oh shit.
They landed and Kiralexia immediately got tangled by Aizawa wrapping his scarf all around his body. He strained trying to move out of it but each time it got tighter. Jack looked concerned peeling stickers off his face at least and came in closer. Aizawa was pissed at Kiralexia slowly squeezing him as he did so.
"You idiot! Do you have any idea what you did just now could have been detrimental to our deal!?"
"Hey it's not my fault you guys keep me prisoner, I needed to see at least one person from my life dammit."
"Oh sure that's why you had Tsuyu with you isn't it!?"
"She helped me dude cut her slack she had nothing to do with this!"
"But why with a villain, that was to dangerous and risky."
"Uh can I just say-"
"NO!" The heroes said in unison making Jack back away.
"Alright alright, god."
"When we're done with you, you'd wish you were under the tree afterwards."
"This isn't hero like jerks. What would my punishment be anyways?! Besides I deserved this being a prisoner and all."
"This is more than just leaving unannounced, this is about bringing Tsuyu with you on a Villain's ship! I swear you're more reckless than Midoriya sometimes." Aizawa said pointing over to Jack.
At that moment Jack looked annoyed and rather pissed himself. Being called villain so often would make you ticked off. He rolled his eyes and sighed heavily. He then began to walk forward to Aizawa without fear or missing a single beat.
"Alright that's it I'm cutting in dammit."
"You stay out of this you-"
"Nononononono this is where YOU SHUT UP EYES!" Jack yelled pointing his finger right under Aizawa's face.
Everyone looked surprised and shocked at this turn of events. For the most part Jack was either timid or quiet. Yet now he had fully blown a fuse and was not holding back. His eyes dilated with hatred. Aizawa looked over at Kiralexia who was just as surprised as he was.
"Hey I didn't tell him to say shit man."
"Damn right he did. And ya know what I have had it up to HERE with your superiority complexes you heroes seem to have. You all think above others, think you are better, that you're heroes. Well guess what YOU AIN'T! The only ones here I'd consider heroes are Tsu and that damn bunny girl. The rest are selfish and greedy!"
"And you aren't?"
"OH I know I can be selfish and greedy and violent and all that shit, but there's one thing different. I KNOW I AM! You all are blind by your self righteousness and titles. One thing that sickens me more is the looseness of the title villain. Sure we kill we steal we burn I agree, but we AREN'T VILLAINS! WE ARE PIRATES NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS!" Jack yelled out pointing between his crew and the heroes.
Everyone was in awe at his arguments. He just kept yelling and bickering without missing a beat. What he said also made a lot of sense and was accurate. A Pirate sure doesn't exactly go with the law which is illegal BUT they aren't a villain. Jack would make that apparent real soon.
"A villain cares not who they kill, who they rape, who they slaughter and burn. A villain is either a psychopath or just some petty thief surviving in this world. A pirate on the other hand is for profit and trade. We steal we plunder yes but we aren't senseless we target who we see as the richest and the ones with the most to gain. A pirate has a life while a villain crawls in shadows. Another thing however you should realize is that a villain is NOT HEARTLESS! at least not all the time."
"How could you say that when you've never seen what they've done?"
"Look real hard at Kiralexia. Tell me is he a villain?" Jack asked as Aizawa looked over at Kiralexia.
Kiralexia gave him a hard look. Clearly the title did not sit right with him at all. Not to mention he's shown that he does legitimately have a heroes characteristic. Saving people from All For One at least attempting to, however he has also done villainous things as well. Yet how could he be both at once? Aizawa was not liking this at all.
"HE isn't a villain, he is no hero, he is simply a man doing what he believes is best for the world. Yet you and everyone else sees a villain, a heartless, mass murdering villain. It is sickening how you use the title so loosely when once again the real villains are the rascists heroes of today!"
"WE are not_"
"OH FUCK OFF YES YOU ARE! You called me a villain way to many times with NO BASIS, NO REASON! I know I am not the only one who has been affected by this shit, yet you are all BLIND TO IT!"
"How so Jack?"
"LOOK AROUND YOU TELL ME HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN NAME CALLED FROM YOUR LOOKS!? HOW MANY HAVE BEEN HARASSED AND INSULTED!? HOW MANY HAVE BEEN CALLED VILLAINS BECAUSE OF YOUR APPEARANCES!?" Jack asked yelling as he motioned to everyone around him.
All of them where beginning to get uncomfortable. For it was true that many faced hardships due to there quirks. Tsuyu especially was moving uncomfortably for she fit in the category. Aizawa to an extent also fit and he himself began to have a little sweat off his head drip. Yet he wouldn't budge and got angry at Jack.
"You really are unstable and a vi-"
"SHUT UP! I swear to whatever god is out there if you call me a villain ONE MORE TIME!" Jack said pulling his pistol out and aiming right for Aizawa's head. "I will put a fucking round right between your blood red FUCKING EYES!" Jack exclaimed looking more pissed off than ever.
Everyone was taken aback at this proclamation. For the most part Jack while was pissed didn't seem more violent than just bitch slapping Aizawa if he had to. Yet now he was threatening to kill him right then and there. Even with Eri right beside him, who granted covered her ears out of instinct, was giving a very frightened look to Jack who now had no semblance of kindness in his face. Aizawa looked between the gun and Eri quickly. His face was that of terror and his eyes went to red staring Jack down. Jack simply laughed and looked at him twistedly.
"Oh sure your eyes are great against quirks but how good is it stopping bullets?"
"What of Eri here? Would you subject her to this?"
"Please she's seen and been through far worse, she can handle this."
"You can't do this! Not with so many of us here."
"REALLY!? Look around you boy, my men will kill ALL OF YOU before you have a chance to rebuttal. So I suggest you think your next actions VERY carefully false heroes." Jack said that was many of his own crew aimed there weapons at the heroes.
They looked a bit surprised but overall kept there cool. Everyone else was prepared for a fight and ready to die. Kiralexia however was not gonna have that on his hands. He screamed out at them and stared them down hard. Everyone stopped and stared as Kiralexia began to speak to them.
"Listen I've known Jack for a long time and when he says shit like this he means it. He literally gutted someone he swore he would kill for ticking him off to much. I highly suggest that you all SHUT UP and listen to whatever Jack has in mind to forgive all your idiotic minds." Kiralexia said. Aizawa looked at Jack and sighed heavily before speaking.
"All right what do you desire?"
"First of all stop this loose use of the word Villain, we are Pirates. May not sound like that big a difference but I assure you it is to us."
"And an apology I'm guessing?"
"Knowing your stubborn minds it'd be a waste. No instead I'd like to make a wager."
"Just spit it out Vi- Pirate."
"Thank you what I suggest is give Kiralexia more freedom. he's not a slave nor a prisoner, he's a, guest of honor. Allow him to move outside of UA, actually pay him for once, hell maybe even allow him to go on a search and hunt to find his old friends and family from the Militia. Maybe if you did that THIS won't happen again." Jack said waving his right arm around the whole group.
Aizawa thought about it for a bit. Sure Kiralexia got annoying with his mocking jokes on heroes, but he did know how to handle the students really well. Not to mention his knowledge of the past was useful in understanding where to get aid. Even if he had his daughter, who was a villain, sneak into UA, the most the two did were just talk or enjoy the others presence. He sighed and decided on his answer looking back to Jack.
"Alright here's how it shall go, we shall allow him to leave UA only on ONE condition. He must have an escort from UA at all times, it doesn't matter who or how many so long as someone from UA is with him. Secondly we shall pay him though not much for now out of safety, and the knowledge that he WILL work with you more." Aizawa said looking back at Kiralexia who simply shrugged and nodded at that answer. "Finally we will allow his research into the Militia to continue and that will not have restrictions, he can find and have anyone aid him be it from the outside or inside of UA."
"And why would you allow that for the last one?"
"Well in all honesty the thought of him siding with the League JUST to find out more what happened after he left is, moderate at best. Therefore we shall not stop but he will be punished if he DOES work further than that with them. Does that sound fair to both of you?" Aizawa asked staring at Jack hard.
Jack raised an eyebrow looking up. He smirked and fired his pistol to the side of Aizawa's face. Perhaps to show he wasn't bluffing to him even if the timing did seem off. He then holstered his pistol and nodded at Aizawa. Kiralexia was then released and breath fresh air in relief. He had his hands on his knees as Jack got punched by Aizawa for doing that. Jack simply reeled back and took it really well actually. He looked back at Aizawa and smirked a little.
"I won't deny I deserved that. Also, I agree, it is the best option for now. Kiralexia?"
"Well what you said, the best I'll get for now." Kiralexia answered looking between Aizawa and Jack a little nervous.
Jack nodded and raised his hand a little at his crew. They all lowered there weapons instantly and became a lot more passive. Some went back to the small ships rather quickly while others simply stared down the Heroes clearly pissed. Jack snapped his fingers and got the briefcase of money towards him. He took it and opened it handing a rather large portion over to Kiralexia.
"Payment for helping me out earlier. That reminds me, Tsu come here to get payed." Jack said having Tsuyu get snapped out of her trance.
She walked forward and was also handed a large some of the payment Jack got. Jack nodded and closed the briefcase looking over to Aizawa. He scoffed but showed some level of calm to him. When he looked over to Midoriya however he was clear on his emotions to him. Walking up to the boy getting right up to his face and punching him in the shoulder for his remarks to him. Eri was looking rather shaken by this and Jack simply sighed as he walked over to try and explain why he did this.
"Eri are you alright? I hope you aren't to mad or scared of me." Jack asked showing genuine concern. Eri simply nodded no and Jack sighed before continuing. "Listen I only did that to prove when they were saying was wrong it wasn't against you. Now stay strong and go show the world you are a brave little girl okay?" Jack said showing compassion in his eyes.
Eri smirked a little still looking away but nodding to that comment. Everyone around the squirmed at what he was doing. This moment, this action, proved to them they were so wrong about him. He wasn't a villain, he really was a caring and compassionate man, a Pirate of the sea. Jack chuckled lightly before standing up as Eri went over to Midoriya. He looked at everyone as they all looked uncomfortable and sighed. He turned and went to the boat yet not before stopping mid way and looking back slightly.
"Ya know, out of all the years I've served Kiralexia, all the years I've known him, I don't think I've ever seen him this happy since the days of the Militia. Take good care of him, ya never know when you'll lose him. Farewell bigoted heroes." Jack said bowing a little before turning around again. He moved a little before realizing something and pulled something out of his pocket. "Oh and Uravity." he said flicking what he had in his hands to Uraraka.
It bonked her on the head and she blinked from it. She caught it and looked to see it was a small card. It was a phone number for Jack probably and she looked back up confused. Jack simply smirked as he looked back a little.
"Kiralexia told me of your plans for the hero life, selfish basis but a noble reason. For that if you ever need money you know who to contact. NOW farewell heroes." Jack said waving as he got on the boat.
Many of the pirates got on as well however three remained. They looked at each other and nodded. All three in unison spat onto the ground and called the heroes 'assholes' before getting on the boats and going to the battleship. Kiralexia looked at the heroes a little perplexed by what just happened. All the heroes and students simply processed what just happened. Jack not only threatened Aizawa's life and all there's, but convinced them to try and change the deal Kiralexia was on. At least that's what Kiralexia assumed would happen.
"So this means-"
"Yes your deal has been changed, by tomorrow you are allowed to move where you please so long as you have a chaperon. However you must do something as punishment for doing this."
"All right lay it on me." Kiralexia said rolling his eyes and moving his arms out to Aizawa.
"Firstly you must clean your room top to bottom and throw that stuff away. To add to this you will also clean Tsuyu's room as well. Also even if we'll allow you to move out tomorrow you MUST get my permission first on where you're going and who you're bringing. After a week you can go without telling me only inform me you are leaving. Do I make myself clear?"
"Ya sure, I'll do it. Odd but I shall do it."
"Good now then let's get your sorry little, butt back to UA." Aizawa said through slightly sneering teeth.
Kiralexia simply nodded and moved with everyone else back to UA. He made himself a bike and rode off while everyone else just moved like normal. Clearly this was gonna need sometime to be accepted but so far is definitely a good upgrade. Kiralexia would definitely use this to his advantage and already had plans for yesterday. For now though it was cleaning and probably writing something for Aizawa, he didn't specify but he knew what he had to do. Thus the plan was in motion and would definitely make Kiralexia happy to see more old friends. One in particular that would cause him to smile as he rode. He wondered how he was and now couldn't wait to meet HIM again. Till then, he would accept punishment and await till tomorrow came.
