Opening Song – Colors by Flow
February 26, The morning of the U.A Entrance Exams
Ren wearily opened his eyes and gazed at the room around him. Finding the mostly cleaned-out Attic.
It was a natural sight for him, he had cleaned this room almost religiously after Sojiro had failed to do so all those years ago.
Ren stepped off his bed, he shivered at the touch of the cold wooden floor and took a glance at the bedside mirror before him, an addition due to the constant insistence of his Mother, saying that he needed to know if his clothes looked good or not – not that Ren ever truly cared, but he had to humor her.
Their relationship had improved over the several months, she no longer gave him a searching gaze, trying to see if he's been having any Vigilante outings. He hasn't, but that didn't stop him from going with Morgana and delving into Mementos. The Path after Akzeriyyuth still hasn't opened, so they have been stuck there just grinding.
Because the Grind Don't Stop…!
Looking towards the bedside mirror He had grown only a few inches from the months that passed. Lifting his shirt up, it revealed his lean muscular upper body. Shaking his leg, so that it'll lose the numbness, the feeling of no longer feeling his Ankle monitor was refreshing. He literally now has a white ring on his ankle now, due to not receiving sunlight for months on end.
In the middle of those months, he vaguely remembered Aizawa and the other police detectives dropping by a few times, checking up on him as they would claim. He looked at his alarm, it read '6:09 am' meaning that he had around two hours and a half to get ready until the Entrance Exam.
Exiting Leblanc with some clothes folded under one arm, he makes his towards the Bathhouse until's he stopped by a familiar voice.
"I didn't expect to see you up so early, My little guinea pig." a sultry voice called out, Ren turned to see "Takemi !?" She was in her usual Black short skirt dress, with a red waistband, wearing her lab coat, and finally wearing a spiked choker…
"I-i was just heading to the bathhouse…"
"You were? Then you wouldn't mind me joining you right?"
"Uhh…"
"Oh my back is really sore, I really, really need a good massage." she massaged her neck with her shoulders, emphasizing her point.
Say yes…! Open your damn mouth, Body…!
"..." He couldn't believe this…He's Joker goddammit, the personification of suave, roguish, charming and he can't handle talking to beautiful women…
"Oh" She puts her hand to her mouth, "It seems like you blew a fuse, literally" Noticing the reddish tinge on his face, and literal steam emanating from the top of his head.
"Yes!" he shouted, startling her, taking a step back.
"Fufu" She giggled, "I was just kidding, anyways you'll have to be older." she winked at him, before continuing "Well since I stopped you, I might as well give this to you." digging into her lab coat. "Here," she places a capsule in his hand.
"What is it?" Ren said examining the weird capsule, holding it between his fingers
"I called it Takemedic, theoretically it's supposed to restore your energy, but I wouldn't know…that's why you're my little guinea pig."
"Th-thanks, I'll make sure to let you know if there are any side effects" She nods, walking towards her clinic, but before she turns the corner "Hey, good luck on your exam today."
"Thank you, I'll need all the luck I can get."
"Well, go get 'em Tiger" she smiles before disappearing around the corning, most likely entering her clinic.
After a quick bath, Ren turned to the changing room and changed into a form-fitting Red track jacket with a white stripe on its side, accompanied by also red sweats with the same white stripe on the side. A white shirt completed the set.
Both of which were bought by his mother – among other things, the reason being she wanted to make up for the several birthdays she hadn't been able to attend. Despite Ren stating that such concern was unwarranted, it didn't stop her from buying a boatload of differently designed clothes for him.
Upon reentering the Cafe, he was met with a surprising sight. Mom was here early, and was in the kitchen–
Ren could not help the hastening of his steps as he also went behind the counter towards the kitchen, "Mom? What are you doing? Who let you in?"
"Ah, Ren!" She exclaimed, wearing an apron that said 'single mother' with a Neo kitty font, "I was making us breakfast! "
Ren let his eyes wander across the kitchen, feeling relief spread across him as he realized that she didn't make as much of a mess as she usually would. This was mostly due to Sojiro constantly scolding her on his part, something as sacred as a kitchen should be treasured especially for the Cafe. Having now spent nearly a year and a half with her back in his life, he came to find out that mom's a great cook but…the mess she left heavily outweighed her cooking skills.
With a sigh, Ren nodded, "Okay then, I do have an hour and a few minutes to spare."
It was time to prove to himself that he could become a Hero and not get thrown into prison. He suppressed a mental shiver. But now that he thought of it if he failed…how would they find him if he made a run for it…? He can literally escape to the Metaverse, whenever he wants.
Must be a fault on their part…anyways…
Ren sat down on the Cafe's Counter alongside Mom, now noticing that Sojiro wasn't there, and dined on the All American Slam that she made…
"Well, Ren?" Nemuri asked, hoping for some feedback,
He sighed "Mom, I've told you before you're cooking is great, just… not what it cost to make it."
"Well look, the mess isn't as big anymore" she points at the kitchen area. He nods, "That's true"
"Where's Sojiro by the way?"
"OH! I told him that he can sleep in because I was going to make breakfast."
Ren just stared at her with a sweatdrop "And...He didn't have an issue with that?"
"Nope!" she pops the P
After taking their time eating their breakfast.
Ren glanced at the wall clock, and made his way to the door, "Come on, I want to get there early."
xxx(Take Your Time)xxx
Ren sighed as he lifted the phone to his ear, "Mom, this is the third time you called, I can handle this. I've literally taken on Pros, and supervillains, I doubt some mechs would give me Issue."
Despite the fact they had conversed fine in the morning, she still called him in worry. After listening to her string of worries, all Ren could do was sigh,
"I'm still worried. What if you don't score high enough? I-" He instantly hanged up on her, not because he was trying to be rude, but he just didn't need the extra baggage in his head.
His mother was such a worrywart, and the months they spent together after he had gotten his Persona did nothing to change that. Ren knew that she was trying hard to be a mother, but he felt that she was trying too hard. You can't fit 15 years' worth of memories into a year, it needs to be nurtured.
Ren sighed as he closed the phone, turning to look at the building he stood in front of him… with its two golden letters screaming out to the world, U.A. The School where the best of the best graduated from. Even though he's been here for community hours he couldn't help but still stared at the sprawling educational institution with a sense of wonderment.
The main building of U.A. was made to look like the letter 'H', and its sides were blanketed entirely by windows, giving it a sleek and modern look. Leading up to the three marked doors at the base of the building was a set of marble stairs, which were preceded by a wide, orange-bricked pathway. Odd but mildly imposing stone statues flanked the pathway, while a row of white, blocky, U-shaped arches rested above it, adding to the overall grandeur of the place.
The grass encompassing the pathway, and by extension the U.A. building, was neatly trimmed and sparkled a vivid green. Adding to the look were majestic trees of varying shapes and sizes dotted all over the lawn, making for a pleasant ambiance that was kept contained within the school grounds by a sturdy concrete wall of the same color as the arches.
Similarly-aged students milled about the pathway, many of them displaying nervous tics as they approached the imposing doors. There was even a guy from Soumei Junior High, which is also one of the most prestigious private schools in the country.
Alright….today's the day that decides it all…
(No Pressure Right…?)
He gets disturbed from his thoughts with his phone vibrating again…
"This better not be her again." He pulls his phone out to see a message from Nejire.
NH: Good Luck today Amamyia-kun! And don't worry, I'll bring Morgana back to Leblanc later on today.
RA: Thanks, and you can keep him if you want!
Pocketing the phone back. How did she even take Morgana? All he remembers is losing a Bet to her about something, next thing you know Morgana's been catnapped.
Won't lie, it's been…peaceful. Not having the cat tell him when to sleep, was also great….
He lightly shook away unnecessary thoughts. He didn't need anything distracting him during this exam, especially if he wanted to prove himself.
So with that thought in mind, he walked past the various sculptures of Heroes, and into the building–
"Move outta the way,"
The message was so abrupt that Ren reacted instinctively, allowing the person to rudely walk by him. he kept an eye on the rude blond who seemed familiar. It was as if he had treated Ren like he didn't exist and only said those words out of instinct. There was only one person who wanted to enroll in U.A with that attitude.
"Bakugo!" He calls out,
The boy in question stops, then he turns around to examine him. "Alright bastard, you should be grateful that I'm giving you the time of the day. Now, who are you?!"
(Does he have a short memory…?)
This will jog the Tsundere's memory…
He holds his hand out with his palm facing upwards, then creates a small reddish explosion.
Immediate recognition comes to his eyes, then he glares at Ren.
There's a sudden "YOU!" in the background…Ren slightly turns his head at the person addressing him, it was the Soumei high kid. "It's illegal for the use of public quirk usag-"
"Amamiya..." Ren nods at Kanchan, utterly ignoring the blue-haired teen ranting on his side.
A manic grin appears on Bakugou's face "I'll show you who has the better explosion quirk, you copycat!" Then he swiftly turns around resuming his walk towards the School.
(Oh right, everybody just thinks you only have [eiha], just wait till they see me, hehe…)
You're not revealing yourself…
Ren hears a sudden huff coming from the side of him and turns to see the Blue haired teen walking off with literal steam coming off his ears.
Was he still talking to me…?
"Are you all right?" The concerned voice of a young girl dragged his attention.
Was someone unwell…?
He allowed his curiosity to drag his attention away from the double doors in which he nearly walked through, and laid his eyes upon a young teen with green curly hair.
Holy shit it's Midoryia…
… Who was also defying gravity. Either that or the girl holding him by his bag is absurdly strong.
However the moment the girl let go of his bag, he started flailing in mid-air like he was about to fall. Gravity manipulation…?
He jogs over to the scene, "Midoryia?"
"Ah-ah! Ren, Help! I'm- I'm Floating!" The poor cinnamon roll was flailing helplessly in mid-air.
"It's alright buddy, I got you, You're not gonna float to space right…?" He said grabbing Izuku's bag and looking at the Girl in question, just shrugged. She put her hands together, letting gravity return to Midoryia.
Is it touch-activated…?
"It's my Quirk. Sorry for using it without asking first," She apologized, "But it'd be bad luck if you fell, right?" Whatever reply the boy was going to have seemed to have died off, as he could only dimly look in our direction. "Aren't you nervous?" She continued, not really expecting a reply.
Ren waves a hand in front of Izuku's face…no response.
"Is he ok?" She asked him, and he responded "He'll live." Midoryia still seemed to be struggling for a response, but she seemed to cut him off,
"Anyways! Well, Let's do our best. See ya two later!"
Ren let a smile, worm onto his face as she left into the building. She was a nice person, most others would have let him fall down onto the ground… actually most people don't even notice a person is falling until they have already did.
Ren turned to the Izuku once more in order to determine his well-being… only to find that he was smiling dumbly to himself in silent cheer.
"Dude the facing you're making is creepy…stop it." That seemed to break him out of it. "Now come on. I don't want to be late."
The pair followed the rest of the crowd into the school, and then into a sizable auditorium large enough to comfortably fit all the examinees. They took a seat in the middle row and waited for the room to fill up, which took a few minutes.
Suddenly, the lights cut out, leaving everyone basking in darkness. Confused murmurs reverberated through the auditorium until one of the surrounding spotlights sprang to life and cast a bright glow on the center of the stage. Several more spotlights soon followed, illuminating the stage entirely and revealing a tall man standing atop a small podium, posing flamboyantly to the crowd. Behind him, at the far end of the auditorium, was a gigantic monitor that projected a flashing U.A. symbol to the awestruck audience.
The man's upturned black jacket, leather pants, and matching boots made him look like a rocker, and that image was only compounded by the studs adorning his collar and belt. A pair of orange sunglasses covered his eyes and a shock of spiky blond hair rose towards the ceiling like a tower. Fingerless black gloves were worn on his hands, and a thin mustache was situated above his beaming grin.
"It's the Voice Hero, Present Mic! Wo-" Izuku was cut off from having one of his fanboy moments by Ren quickly covering his mouth with his hand while both of them and Katsuki sat together, listening to the explanation of their practical exam.
"For once, I'm fucking glad you did that," Bakugo said earning an agreeing sigh from Ren.
There's always a place and time Midoryia…
"For all you examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today!" Present Mic bellowed enthusiastically, his voice amplified by a large speaker hanging around his neck. "Everybody say 'hey'!"
Following his exuberant introduction, he cupped an ear towards his listeners as if expecting a response, but was ultimately met with stunned silence.
If this bothered Present Mic, he didn't let it show, and instead shrugged helplessly at his observers. "What a refined response. Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam!" He raised his right hand as though he was about to drop a microphone and his grin widened. "Are you ready?! YEAH!"
Yet again, the crowd responded with silence and Ren found himself feeling a bit sorry for Present Mic. As a Showman himself, he craved attention as Joker. Nevertheless, the pro hero appeared unfazed and persisted with his explanation.
"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this!" He explained as the screen behind him went from showing the U.A. logo to showing seven different areas on it, marked from A to G. "You can bring whatever you want with you after the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle center, okay?" Silence… "Okay?!"
"In other words, they won't let you work with your friends?" Bakugo noticed that on his ticket and on Izuku's, both of them had different test locations with the former being sent to Battle Center A and the latter being sent to Battle Center B. Ren took this time to look at the exam ticket he was assigned earlier, which revealed that he was to be in Battle Centre G
"Y-You're right, even though our numbers are consecutive: we're assigned to different battle centers," Izuku said noticing that his ticket was 2234 and Bakugo's was 2233. "Get your eyes off me ticket!"
"Wh-what about you Ren?" Midoryia asked, with Bakugo also wondering.
" I got sent to G," Ren said, he was a bit disheartened by that, but quickly accepted the situation. After all, it wouldn't be a fair assessment of an individual's abilities if they were allowed to team up with a friend.
"Three different types of Mech villains have been stationed in each battle center." blacked-out yet familiar silhouettes appeared on the monitor, numbered from 1 to 3, and surrounding a small model of a city. "You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty. Your goal is to use your Quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains. Of course, attacking other examinees or anything unheroic is prohibited." Present Mic explained even further as the screen showed a pixel version of him attacking the fake villains.
"May I ask a question!?"
"Yes!" Present Mic pointed at one of the people sitting in front of the three, letting one of the lights shine down on him to reveal a blue-haired boy wearing glasses holding up a piece of paper. His uniform revealed him to be the Soumei Junior High student Ren had seen earlier trying to scold him.
"On the printout, there are four types of villains. If that is a misprint then U.A., the most prominent school in the country, must be disappointed in themselves! We, Examinees, are here in this place because we wish to be molded into exemplary heroes!" He turned around and pointed towards the three, mainly at Izuku. "In addition, you over there with the curly hair! You've been muttering this whole time! It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately!" To this, Midoryia hid his head in shame while everyone else began to laugh. "...sorry..."
"He's just excited being here! I mean who wouldn't? You didn't have to cut him down like that! Sit down before you embarrass yourself." Ren said quickly jumping to aid Midoryia.
"Okay okay, Examinees 7111 and 2235, relax. Thanks for pointing that out, the fourth kind of villain is worth no points. It's an obstacle so to say." Present Mic explained as the symbol for the fourth villain appeared on the screen. "There's one in every battle center and they go crazy in narrow spaces. They're not impossible to defeat but not something you should try too, I recommend you all try to avoid it."
"So, it's like a stage gimmick to be avoided," the Soumei student remarked, bowing low. "Thank you very much! Please excuse the interruption!" As soon as he sat down, the spotlight left him.
"Damn Amamiya didn't think you'll go for the head" Bakugo muttered.
"Well, there's not a lot you know about me…" He replied, hearing 'Cocky bastard' from the Tsundere.
"That's all from me, before you go, let me just present you with our school motto: Go beyond, Plus Ultra!" Those two words then flashed across the screen behind him in blindingly bright colors. "Now, everyone, good luck suffering!" the pro hero added as a concerning afterthought.
Despite the morbid parting words, Ren let a small smile take hold.
xxx(Take Your Time)xxx
The bus arrived at the Battle Center. Ren stepped out of the bus wearing his Red tracksuit, also being the last to step off. The setting for the Practical Exam is one of the same giant mock cities that he had helped clean. All of it is surrounded by tall walls. It was almost intimidating to just stare up at the giant gate. He pulled up his sleeve, revealing a mechanism around his wrist.
A Prototype of Morgana's Grapple Gun, just more efficient…? He doesn't know but this will be a good time to test it….
He hears some of the students gossiping as he got closer to the group.
"This is nuts." One of the students stated.
"It's like a whole city." One of them who has spiky silver hair replied in astonishment.
"Can you imagine how much it cost to build this?"
"U.A. is amazing!"
Now standing in front of the giant steel gates, barring his way into the large mock city. Even from the outside, he could hear the sounds of the mech villains resonating from within. Battle Center G had slightly fewer people around, most likely due to being one of the last centers. It was where all the remainder went after the other centers were full.
Inversely that would mean that there were slightly fewer mech villains to deal with within the city itself, in order for the Battle Centers to not show favoritism. Competition for the mech villains would be fiercer.
He allowed his eyes to roam around, taking note of the more notable people within the crowd.
He saw various things such as a Horn quirk, a giant fist quirk, and thorns for hair… Wait a minute were those earphones growing from her ears? What kind of evolutionary development would need to occur for that to be actually feasible?
"What are you staring at?" The girl asked, looking a tad bit miffed. She also seemed awkward though, probably because they were standing somewhat next to each other.
Whoops, best fix my mistake.
(Creep)
Ignoring the Bastard in his head, "Sorry, I was just curious about the earphone plugs." Ren said honestly pointing at his own ears, "I have never seen a quirk like that before."
At his reply, she softened, but still held a wary expression on her face, "It's fine man, most people haven't either. Quirks that work with electronics are rare after all." She allowed her eyes to roam his body, widening slightly, "Since you asked about mine, can I ask about yours?"
Luckily he knew what to do, raising a hand and allowing his Magic to form a rather small [Eiha] blast. "My quirk just lets me make curse explosions." He replied with a small smile.
A white lie, but a magician always holds the cards close to their hearts…
She widened her eyes at the sudden hearing of 'Cursed', "Wow man, that sounds and looks like a pretty mean Quirk. Sure hope you don't curse anybody with that."
That's not it works…He sweatdropped
"That's not all either." Holding the same hand out, a bluish flame appears, then dissipates revealing his Dagger, Rebellion. A smooth looking Dagger with an emerald gem embedded in its hilt
(A/N: Joker's default weapon, just with a gem)
"Weapon creation too? And I'm not even gonna question the blue fire. Do you ever worry that you're gonna hurt someone?" She asked genuinely,
"No I don't," Ren admitted, especially within the outside world, where even maiming a villain would be frowned upon heavily. It's why he only exclusively used it in the Metaverse, the only time he can think of using it against a human being was that Crocodile fuck all those months ago.
It was a simple answer, she didn't seem to understand what he meant. If he didn't know how to use a Dagger, the chances of accidentally hurting people around him were far greater. The fact that he did know how to use the Dagger meant that he could disable opponents either via disarmament, knockout with blunt sides of single-edged blades, or other methods.
But why use my dagger if can he just use an ailment, like [Dormina], [Debilitate], etc? The dagger is used to really just kill Shadows…
The girl hummed to herself, "That's an arrogant way of thinking," She commented,
"Anyways Good luck with the exam, would be a shame to see someone like you fail."
"Someone like me?" He asked,
What did she mean by that…?
"Well…" She murmured, scratching her head a bit, "You sound cocky but something about you just makes you still seem likable. I don't really know why."
Likable…? He didn't really have friends back in middle school, besides Midoryia Bakugo, Makoto, and that's not even talking about all the girls that looked at him like a top prized pony to show off.
(Ah, she must be talking about your Protagonist skill…)
Shut up, that's not real…
"Forget about it," She says, "Good luck on the exam man,"
She walked away, probably to focus more on the exam. They had talked long enough and the exam was ultimately going to start soon. The rest of the quirks looked standard issue. Although there seemed to be some older students here, possibly some students who decided to try to enroll at U.A. after a year of training?
It was an admirable quality, to be honest, these people wanted to be heroes so much that they spent a considerable amount of time trying to become one. The confidence in their eyes almost reflects that.
In a way, he almost felt guilty-
Keyword…Almost…
About the fact that he had more experience than them because the experience was usually a deciding factor in fights and most importantly the battlefield…
"OKAY START!"
Suddenly the colossal door that was shut, had opened without anyone knowing whatsoever. Despite this sudden occurrence, it didn't bother Ren. The moment he heard Present Mic's voice shout out through the speakers, he was already in the mock city.
Everybody stood there confused as they failed to process what was going on.
"What's wrong? There are no countdowns in real fights! RUN, RUN! The die has been cast, you know! Look, there's already one examinee who's way ahead of all of you!"
He had fought against shadows that excelled in the common capabilities of the common man, where a split-second decision could mean the difference between life and death. He had slain Shadows of Gods and beaten Villains that wouldn't think twice about killing.
So by the time the rest of the examinees noticed Ren within the city, he had already called upon Rebellion and cleaved through the abdomen of a mech villain.
"Woah, he's so fast! He was right behind me, and yet I didn't even notice when he moved!" The spiky silver hair examined had said as he and the rest of the examinees, who were still shocked at Ren's pure speed, raced ahead to begin the Practical Exam.
He had spent months preparing for this day, trained both physically and magically. In less than a second, the torso flew high above him and landed in front of another faux villain.
Ren had fought in the Metaverse, where a single misstep could have meant his life. This exam was no threat to him. He will pass this exam. And Secure his FUTURE!

The Judges' Room:
Boring….
Not a word that Todoroki Shoto would've thought would come to him during the U.A. practical exam for recommended students, but that's what came to him. He sat in the recreational room along with the rest of his recommended peers. According to policy, their recommendations were meant to substitute for their involvement in the practical either because they didn't need to, or couldn't. This was just a waste of time in his eyes in order to scout the school beforehand and get a clue on where to go and what to do with himself.
In his case, it was probably to give the rest of rabble a chance. They were all painfully average, barely an impressive quirk and quality among them. The rest of his recommended peers didn't impress him either. A rich girl with admittedly good looks, a smirking jabber mouth of some girl, an eyesore, and an off-brand wannabe detective. Nothing to draw his attention away from the screen before him.
For some reason that Shoto couldn't fathom, they were allowed to watch the rest of the applicants as they went through their practical exams.
Was it some kind of incentive to take notes? To analyze those that could become their teammates? Their classmates and peers?
That wasn't even talking about the other three upper-classmen that sat on the side of the rest of the recommended students.
A Student that couldn't even finish a sentence without stuttering due to anxiety or something, it didn't matter to him. A carbon copy of what a young All Might would look like. Just the typical boy wonder. And a talkative blue-haired girl that kept asking questions every second.
This was the future of Japan's Hero society…?
Unlikely, but Shoto would believe anything at this point. The applicants on the screen went about with no armor and barely a special set of gear among-
Hold on, what was that…?
Shoto leaned forward and he was vaguely aware that the other recommended students had stopped talking to each other. All of their eyes were glued to the screen as a red and white blur
Cleaving his way through faux villains like they were paper. Reddish explosions shredding the green tank robots, kick severing heads with ease…
"Jeez… are the robots that weak or is this dude that good?" Honenuki Juzo mused with his arms crossed.
Yaoyorozu Momo remained silent, sight transfixed as the red-white examinee flung… something out of his wrist, and… was he flying?!
"Whooaaa, a Hookshot! Like in the Zelda games! This kid's rad!" Setsuna beamed.
Shoto narrowed his eyes. Who was this kid…?
Elsewhere in the Room.
Nejire was excited…!
Watching Ren cleave and Fly around with no issues was amazing. These past months all he ever did was talk about how amazing he was when he was being a vigilante.
He looked Free…
"Yes!" she shouts, watching him just suddenly slam into a robot, completely squashing it.
"Nejire that's the guy you're talking about?" Mirio asked, she almost felt embarrassed by not introducing them to Ren. They'll love him, she just knew it…He had that roguish charisma that was so intoxicating to her. Ren can talk a big game about teasing her but when the tables are turned he becomes a big doe-eyed deer in spotlights.
"Yep, yep!"
"Wo-wow his quirk sure is am-amazing" The trio's lion with a heart of a kitten, Tamaki stuttered out.
And Oooo, she hasn't told anybody about Ren's power not being a quirk. He made her promise him, and he even threaten to erase her memories if she did…! She always wondered if he had the capabilities of erasing her memories. But considering one time she was having her cramps, all he did was say [Patra] and boom they were gone, she wasn't gonna doubt that he had the spell for it anymore.
Finding out that Midnight was his Mother, was another big shocker.
Seriously it was…!
She now knew where Ren had gotten his perverted sense of humor. He can deny all he wants but he's definitely a mama's boy. Oh, and speaking of Midnight…
Pov change: (X)
She strutted into the darkened room after inputting a key code.
"You're letting light in. And you're late." Muttered Aizawa Shouta, Eraserhead, from across the room with a cross look.
Nemuri shrugged. Inside, the famed 'Hall of Judgement' was in full swing. All of the teachers, sans herself, were in their assigned spots, looking over the dozens of monitors streaming the feed from the different battle centers. Cementoss glanced over from his seat, offering a kind smile. Ectoplasm and Snipe only gave a nod while the famed mousy principal kept his eye on the prize. Toshinori Yagi, All Might, sat right beside him in his skeletal form.
She also noticed the Recommendation students and the three upperclassmen students.
"Got a reason for your tardiness?" Aizawa's eye twitched, and Nemuri couldn't resist flashing him a smile.
"Nope! Just thinking about how to punish my rude son for hanging up on me~"
Aizawa stared at her nonplussed, then sighed.
She walked further into the room until she noticed Nejire wave at her.
Ah yes…my future daughter-in-law…
Coming up to her, beside her were Miro Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Finally Nejire-chan~. Together they were U.A's Big three.
"Hey, you three, causing trouble?~" they shook their heads.
"Mirio, how's your internship with Sir. Nighteye?" Nemuri asked unnoticing Torshinori shake at that name.
"Sir? He great's…! He's made me a better Hero." Togata exclaimed with a big boyish smile that rivals All Mights.
"That's only expected from All Might's former sidekick." again ignoring Torshinori's shaking.
"And You Tamaki…?"
"F-Fat Gum is ma-making me get out of my s-shell, Ms. Midnght." The boy hesitated. She once again nods.
He's getting there, compared to his first year. Way better than his first year…
"Nejire-"
"I love Ryukyu! She likes an older sister! She's so fun to Intern for–"
Looking at Nejire now, she couldn't believe that she hadn't run into her Son when he was playing Joker. She knew that Ryukyu had a run-in with him. Before her Son's apprehension, The female heroes would have a get-together just for funsies. The top topic that would come up would be about Joker. Ryukyu said that he would make out with her, and Rumi, aka Miruko, would say every time she would be on Joker's trail, it would always end with them making out.
Unknowingly that it was her son making out with multiple older women, she would jokingly question how good of a kisser he was, how experienced he was. It would range from, he was bad, he was good, he was a god amongst man, most of these accounts were from Rumi of course because she had more encounters with him. Her Kouhai or her apprentice at that time Mt. Lady said she wanted a go at him, saying that she need a husbando to take care of her.
She even had thoughts about Joker, and she never encountered him! Now she knows why… the Boy had been avoiding her at all Costs! She also hasn't told any of them about their relationship, she plans to keep that a secret as long she can, lest her fanbase dwindles knowing that she had a son, or maybe it would skyrocket…?
A lot of people like Milfs… right…?
"And her quirk is super amazing…!" Nejire finished.
Oh, she was still talking…
Hopefully, Nejire doesn't question Ren's vast experience in intimacy, if their relationship goes any further. That will be whole another bombshell to reveal, and honestly, she wouldn't mind having Nejire as a Daughter-in-law.
"So, what else do you have planned for toda-"
"Look at him go!" Nemuri was cut off by Thirteen's excited gasp, and her sapphire eyes turned towards the camera feeds from Battle Center G.
The red-and-white suited examinee was slicing through robots like a knife through butter, thanks in no part to that Dagger in his grasp.
And he was busy using his Hookshot to pull students away from falling hazards or robots about to ambush examinees! "That his quirk?" she was asked, by Thirteen.
In All honesty, she herself doesn't the full capabilities of Ren's power. On that day she only had a taste of its raw power that seeped out of him when he was shot. She had been disheartened whenever she would approach him about his powers, he would divert the conversation elsewhere.
Almost if he didn't trust her…
She had asked Ren what were his thoughts about the practical exam, and all he said was that he would 'ace it' and now she was witnessing it.
Guess he wasn't exaggerating…
"Doesn't look like it there seems to be a mechanism on his wrist... Plus he fired some sort of reddish explosion." Snipe mused.
She gives a Snipe a look, on which he notices "What? I may have given him a hard time, during his community services here, but I'm not gonna give a biased score." he shrugged, then continuing in a lower voice "Plus I like that brat, he's pretty funny…don't tell him that though."
"And it seems he's gotten an understanding of the exercise down pat." Nezu beamed, Ren used his Dagger to cut a lamp post in half, keeping it from falling on some examinees before rushing through the battlefield. "Speed. Power. Utility. Able to act on instinct and without hesitation. Gather information from the high ground. He is showing loads of promise. He's already at forty points Villain Poin-! Oh, actually make that forty-five now."
"And that's not even counting the possible Rescue Points he is accumulating once we go over the tape in closer detail!" Thirteen said with an impressed air.
Nezu turns to look at her, "Your boy sure has improved, Midnight." She can only sheepishly rub the back of her head, she didn't do anything.
"Amamiya certainly is talented," Cementoss mused from his chair, scratching his… flat chin."Although I feel we may have to put in some limitations on equipment going into next year…"
"Talented doesn't cut it," Ectoplasm commented, "Look at the way he maneuvers with his hook shot, his acrobatics, and the way he pulls himself to his target and destination with blinding speed. The only one who has him beat in speed is the Iida kid on the ground. You don't learn those moves on the playground."
"It certainly speaks to his skill." Nezu leaned back in his chair, beady eyes examining Ren's footage.
"Yeah, and we all know where he got his experience from, unfortunately…" Aizawa grumbled.
"Passing the exam isn't for debate, we all know how talented he is, avoiding capture for months on end is proof of that. The test is whether he can make it on to the top ten as per our agreement," he said in a low voice, where only the teachers could hear, looking specifically at Midnight.
"Though his experience of his certainly gives him the edge in this test. Ren wasn't kidding when he said he would be able to ace this with no sweat." Nemuri watched as Ren now used his Curse explosion to clear a street of robots. "Now he's over fifty Villain points!" She let out a whistle. "It's almost unfair."
"Not really Midnight," Snipe turned towards the minx, "The preliminary test is still a daunting task, regardless of experience or previous 'occupation' in his case," he muttered.
"Astute as always, Snipe," Nezu smiled, "Like the other students, he doesn't know how many villains there are in the center nor their locations, even though he has done a good job finding their location by utilizing the high ground with his acrobatics and slinging. With their limited time and vast area, the challenge of accumulating points is daunting even for the most talented of our applicants. Some use information gathering to plan out assaults, while others use speed and maneuverability to get ahead of their peers."
He paused, taking note of a certain screen depicting the ex-vigilante winging over a building to land atop a three-pointer with a diving dropkick. 'He's closing in on sixty.'
"He's joy-riding, thinking this is all a game," said a voice, from within the group of recommendations. They turn to see the unofficial fifth recommended student, Goro Akechi, the Detective Prince. No longer leaning with his back to the wall but with his shoulder, eyes focused on the monitor where Ren is. "The way he goes around, he isn't using his full power. Haven't none you realized that not once has he summoned his Persona."
"Persona…?"
"What is the Detective prince talking about…?"
Shoto Todoroki only had one thought, 'He's holding back…?!'
"Yes. Principal Nezu may I show my future fellow classmates and peers what I am talking about here…?"
Nezu turns to see the other teachers, who shrug in acceptance. "You may, Akechi-Kun"
"Watch, closely, future classmate. I will only perform this once," he said walking towards the middle.
With a hand on his hip, a bluish hue light encircles him…
Motes of light start to dance around him….
Bringing a quick hand to his face, the light show becomes even fiercer…
'What is this…?' Shoto thought
"Awaken…Robin Hood!" throwing his hand to the side.
A more controlled flame burst from his side, and there it stood. The fabled thief of Nottingham lore, a legendary archer and swordsman. Heroic deeds were summed as "robbing from the rich and giving to the poor".
Robin Hood appears as a gallant archer and even somewhere near a knight, owing to his dominantly white and gold design. Carrying a giant golden bow that hints at powers akin to angelic divinity. The prominent "RH" shield logo on his chest echos Superman's "S" shield. Two narrow coat-tails flew in the wind behind it as if there was invisible wind moving the twintails. A Bold chest, Spike ruby red pauldron on its shoulders.
It looked like…
"All Might…" Yaoyorozu muttered, beating Shoto's thoughts.
"A Mecha All Might," said Setsuna, with Honenuki also nodding.
'Woah, it's more buff than Arsene…' thought Nejire, with Aizawa also following that same thought 'Amamyia's 'Persona' looks like a stick compared to this kid's
Torshinor Yagi saw a flash of his young self in that Persona. Robin hood's looked based on his 'Young Age' design.
"Pardon my language principle, but that's a big ass bow." Snipe commented
"With an equally big arrow, or is it a Spear…?" Echoplastm also added.
There's a sudden clapping, they turn to see the Principal clapping, "That's very impressive, Akechi-Kun, we can't wait until this school year to watch your powers more in action." The rodent Principal beamed.
Another thought was running through Shoto's head, 'why did the principal specifically say 'powers' as in multiple…?!'
"Also thank you for the Demonstration, let's get back to monitoring the examinees"
"My Pleasure, Principal Nezu." Akechi bowed, returning to his previous position.

"Ten minutes remaining!" Present Mic shouted through the Mock Cities sound system
Ren slid under a spider-like mech villain and cleaved it from the underside earning himself two points. He ignored the mild irritation in his knees from performing such an endeavor and focused more on the total points he had accumulated.
"If that was two points…" Mentally counting the points in his head.
49 points…?
Hearing a distant, 'Target acquired. I will kill you!'
(It's a total of 53 points so far…on your left…)
Mindlessly pointing his palm towards the left, he releases a blast of [ Eiha ], instantly destroying the one-pointer rushing towards him.
54 now…but the question remains, how much more points do I need…?
Putting a hand to his chin, thinking of the possible score limit.
(Aren't you gonna wonder how Midoryia is handling it…?)
Fuck, you're right…and I never did help him get a persona….But at the same time, we had all of summer and the entirety of the year and He never reminded me once, of what I was going to show him! Hopefully, they at least accept him into the general course, hell I'll even give my spot up for Midoryia. Wait a minute...actually, whenever I went over to his house, he was always busy, and exhausted. was he training for the Exam...?
(I wasn't going to bring this up until Midoriya said it, but he has Quirk…)
What…? Since when…?!
(Actually… seven quirks…)
Okay…?! Since when was having seven quirks a thing…?!
(I don't know actually when but I had scanned him at the Entrance, his aura was changing into multiple colors of the rainbow.)
And what was aura before…?
(Blank…just like how you are…)
I-
A scream drew his attention.
We'll finish this conversation later…
Without hesitation, Ren shot out the hook-shot
Upon turning a corner, and perching himself on the side of the building. He saw two examinees. One of them was someone with simple bulging muscles, but the other was the girl he had been talking to minutes prior.
Despite the low amount of faux villains surrounding them, they seemed to be lethargic. Their combined movements were sluggish and no matter what they weren't moving from their spot. Instead, their arms were raised in defiance, eyes hard and bodies ready to move at any second.
Why aren't they moving…?
(Behind them…)
Ren got his answer the moment he laid eyes on what was behind them…They were completely surrounded by Villains on all sides.
He shot the Hookshot towards a faux villain, connecting it then he pulled himself towards it. Going at a fast speed, he grabs the Mechs head flying past it then slamming into the ground, skidding across the pavement.
"Sorry about intruding," Ren said, rising back up from basically grinding the Mech Villain's face into the ground.
"It's fine man," the muscled one said, biting into a chocolate bar despite the absurdity of the situation, "Any longer and we would have been toast,"
That was about as cool as an introduction can get, and it was just fine…?!
"Well, if it isn't the Cursing guy!" The earphone girl shouted, bending over a swing from a one-pointer and kicking it away with a metal boot. "We can chat after we deal with these guys!"
Ren nodded and proceeded to eliminate the remaining Mech villains alongside the two examinees.
That nickname better not stick…
Ren avoided another predictable swing from a double-point Mech villain and cleaved its head off. Quickly spinning on his heel, Ren grabbed another faux villain and threw it over his shoulder, crashing it into a third faux villain.
Ren gave a quick glance around the area, confirming its overall safety of it. Once satisfied, he lowered Rebellion and gave a soft sigh, sending a glance to the worn-out examinees.
"You two okay?" Ren asked,
They both nodded, the earphone girl exhaled hard and said, "Kind of wish you came earlier… actually I don't remember your name,"
"You never asked actually," Ren replied, "It's Ren Amamiya."
"Jiro Kyoka" She replied, but then turned to the muscled one, "What about you?"
"I'm Sato Rikido," He replied
"You guys sure were in a tight spot," Ren said, walking towards the two, who were both panting and wheezing, albeit with stunned expressions.
"We were lucky you showed up, we could have failed right there," Jiro said,
"Where did you learn to fight like that?" Sato asked, "Not to be rude."
"What with the Dagger…?" Ren questioned.
"Yeah! Sword skills are rare…"
"Well to answer your first question, you stick'em with pointing end…Hold…did just call my Dagger, a sword…?"
"Yeah, isn't that what they basically are?"
(Oh hell no…)
"There's so much wrong with that. I'm sure a certain Hero of Justice, would want to educate you about blades" Ren warned.
"Are you talking about the equipped hero: Yoroi Musha…?"
"You don't read manga do you?"
"I read all the time! "
Jiro is just in the background watching a pair of guys talking about swords, not noticing the faux villain sneaking up on her.
"Oh yeah? Name your top five Romance Comedys."
"I-I don't read that?!"
"Well, you los-"
Ren turns to see a villain behind Jiro " Jiro behind you!" he yelled. Jiro turns, just in time as its claw is nearing her face…
(You won't make it…)
Until a Metallic hand breaches through the Mech's torso, deactivating it. Another hand breaches through, ripping apart the Faux Villian. Revealing an entire Metallic examinee, with sharp teeth.
"Are you guys seriously talking about Romance comedies!" Ren looked at the new examinee, and he starts getting major flashbacks from Colossus, a metal villain from a while back.
"Nah, it was this guy." Joker said pointing at Sato, "Who woulda thunk."
"Wha-I- I Don't read them!" Sato shouts before another voice calls out to them.
"You guys alright?" over a pile of Mechs, it was a ginger-haired girl at the top. A mech was rushing towards her and…
"Hyah!" CRASH!
She was the one with big hands right…?
"We're alright! What about you Jiro?" Ren asked
The examinee that had just destroyed the bot stood on its smoldering ruins then she sleds down the pile of faux villains with the same body of the mech from earlier, "Hey, Names Itsuka Kendo, and this Metalhead is Tetsu Tetsu."
"I-I'm a little shaken but fine, thanks Tetsu."
"No Problem!"
The newly formed group started to introduce themselves to each other, and started walking towards the center of Mock City…
"Hey quick question Tetsu, is your dad a villain…?" the newly formed group turns to Ren.
"Wh-what type of question is that!?"
"It's a yes or no type."
"N-No!"
"Just asking…" he shrugged.
(Isn't that quirk profiling…?)
"You were the one swinging everywhere right?" Kendo speaks up, looking at Ren.
"That's me alright " he replies bringing his arm up, and sliding his sleeve down, revealing a grapple-shot mechanism around his wrist. Various oohs, and wows are sounded.

Back with the Judges room
"What you about Torshinori? Got anyone you're looking forward to?" Nemuri asked
Torshinori perked up, looking back at the monitors but his face fell when he saw one monitor… one with a green-haired boy just struggling to even tag a robot and get a point and take part in the feeding frenzy. Nezu leaned forward in his chair.
"Though remaining calm is a huge advantage, as well as possessing raw power. The best students use a combination of all of these aspects to excel. They're the ones that rack up the highest scores."
This was going to be one talented freshman class coming in. However… "Is it time?" Torshinori asked.
Nezu nodded, "Yes, Ectoplasm, begin the true test."
If it weren't for his ever-present grin, Nemuri would've thought that Ectoplasm was laughing. He reached forward and flicked the Red Switch. And the entire building shook.
xxx(Take Your Time)xxx
"So what's your score count guys? Mines is 54" Ren asked.
Tetsu Tetsu counted his fingers "I-uh…have 46."
"I also got 46!" Sato said.
"I have 42…" Jiro added
"Well I have 51, but would have more if you weren't hogging all the villains, Ren!"
it was a lucky break for all of them. They all have earned a substantial amount of points
He shrugged "Gotta move fast, live fast…" then a pair of Villians turned the corner of them and rushed them before anyone can say anything.
"They're mine!" Jiro shouted. Her earphone jacks connected to her boots and her heartbeat came out in amplified sound waves. The waves were so intense they pulverized the two bots, adding to Jiro's points.
"Alright," Ren said. " That makes it 44 now, you're catching up now Jir- "
"Cursed Boy, shut up!"
"Stop calling me that!?" Ren shouted. Jiro turned to give him a stern look.
"I can hear something coming – something big!"
Slowly the ground began to quake.
"Is that an earthquake?" Kendo shouted, holding onto Ren for support.
Up Ahead the ground exploded with great force and opened up. What looked like one of the buildings turned out to be the head of a giant robot.
This is… the fourth villain…
That was the only thought that ran through Ren's head as he saw the giant lumber above the buildings, a colossal hand raised and smashing through buildings like they were nothing but Styrofoam. The giant mech villain was obscenely larger than the other three faux villain models, it was powerful enough to destroy buildings. The robot began to roll on its tank-like feet towards them at a high speed.
"What the crap?!" Tetsu Tetsu yelled. "Are they trying to kill us?"
"We need to get out of here!" Ren yelled. "Come on, move it!"
As soon there about to start moving, their pathway is blocked by a collapsing building, burying them in a giant storm of dust.
"Hey, guys! Let's cut through this Building!" Sato shouted, waving at them next to a building that was connected to each other.
"He's right, everybody move!" Ren yelled. Everyone started running towards the new pathway.
The Group was now running through the narrow corridors of the building. The Giant Mech was now gaining on them, the roofs of the buildings behind them were collapsing on their tails.
"It's gaining on us!" shouted Sato
Ren, still running looked through the windows, and saw examinees running alongside them, ahead of them. The only thing each and every single one of them had in common was that they were acting on the natural fight or flight instinct present within them all.
"Ju-just keep running-!" Kendo shouted unnoticing a piece of rebar sticking out, tripping her.
Time seemed to Still…
(What will you do in this situation…? There is only one possible outcome…
Leave her, and let the hands of fate decide her survival…?
Help her up, and hope for your survival…? Choose your path….)
…
(Very Well…)
Quickly pivoting his foot Ren, turns at a 360-degree angle, catching her before she had completely fallen to the floor… Carrying her in a bridal position.
"Th-thanks…" Kendo said blushing, with Ren just nodding.
"Nice catch, Amamiya!" Tetsu shouted.
"Look!" Jiro shouted, pointing at the Exit…"There's our way out!"
Nearing the bloody exit, Jiro is the first out, followed by Tetsu Tetsu, and Sato, leaving Ren and Kendo behind because of the extra weight.
"Come on, Come on!"
"You're almost there…!"
"TIMES UP!" Present Mic announced through the Mock Cities sound system, the Giant Faux Villain deactivating.
Ren now nearing the exit…The crumbling building collapsed to rubble…as soon as they were near the exit. Ren enveloped himself around Kendo, his arms wrapping protectively as he reinforced his entire body to its maximum potential. Allowing all of the rubble, girders, concrete, and debris to fall down upon them.
xxx(Take Your Time)xxx
Did they make it…? Those were the first words Kendo thought.
She knew, and it was dark and that something was wrapped around her.
Ren…?
She shifted a bit and felt a firm grasp on her. It was almost like she was restrained by the darkness itself. It was dark, her head hurt, and above all, she could barely move.
"Are you… okay?"
The sudden voice sent a surprise shiver through her, Just the mere proximity, how close the voice was to her ear.
"Ren.. you're too close…" she muttered, his body was pressed incredibly close to hers!
She struggled and writhed, hoping to wrestle freedom from his grasp, and as she did so the vibrations all around them amplified.
"Stop!" He cried, voice stopping with a surprising urgency. "The walls will… collapse if you keep moving."
"Ho-how I thought we were already out?," She found herself asking, the tone of her voice making her sound all confused..
"You don't know…?"
'You don't know…?' of course, I don't…!
" I don't, I saw the exit, blinked then I'm in total darkness…"
"Well, let me tell you a story….The zero point mech villain was deactivated, and I'm assuming the damage to the building had already reached its breaking point, and it collapsed," He answered truthfully. The absolute honest dread in his tone did wonders for her rising panic.
So they're under the building…!? She thought, but then another thought came to mind. Did the zero-pointer also collapse on them…?
"D-did the Zero-pointer collapse on us?" she asked, silence…
"No"
"How do we get out…?" She whispered, seeing no more reason to talk aloud.
"We need to wait for the other guys or the staff to dig us out." He answered. "But other than that I don't think there's much we can do…" He shuffled a bit, but not enough to cause vibrations."I can hear the other just above us, digging through."
She can't hear anything. Is he lying to calm her down…? No, she's just known him just for a few minutes, but he doesn't seem the type to lie in this situation…
She can feel his breath, tingling on the side of her neck. Even in this precarious situation, there was one thought coursing through her mind.
This is so embarrassing…
"Sorry about the position," he said, almost reading her mind.
"It's alright, at least it comforted right…?"
"Uh-huh"
A few moments of awkward silence pass until she grew fed up with it.
"Since we're stuck together, we might as well get to know each other," She reasoned in a nervous tone, "I think we have just enough points to pass the practical, I know my written exam is good enough for me to pass. what about you?"
The man chuckled, obviously finding some kind of humor also within the precarious situation they were in. "We're stuck in a life and death, situation and you're thinking about our scores?"
Her cheeks flushed, "An-answer the question", she heard him chuckling a bit more.
"Hehe, Fine~. I'm no math whiz but I think I did alright, passable at best."
After another moment of silence, she sighs…
"Sorry about this. If I hadn't tripped, we wouldn't be here. We could have left already. Maybe I can help with the weight?" she suggested.
"Your quirks big hands… right?" he asked in a nervous tone.
"Big Fist…" she chided.
"Sorry. Anyways it wouldn't work. You can't support what is basically 80 Tons, in the current position you are in. Your arm would get tired from the constant strain of holding it up, and that's not even including the weight. Also, it could threaten the structural integrity of this place," He continued. "The rocks could shift and we'd both be crushed alive."
"Oh but you can?" her tone losing a bit of nervousness.
"Yes" 'No I fucking cannot, I just have a persona that is alleviating 90% of the weight.'
Just a simple yes…
She frowned and nodded, then mentally berated herself since none of them could see within the dark chamber.
Maybe-
Whatever thoughts she had were cut off the moment she accidentally felt the arm to her left.
In that fleeting moment of contact, she knew that they were tensed, exerting force so strenuous that any more weight piled on his arm muscles itself may rupture.
Not to mention… she couldn't even reach far enough to any of the debris. It was like she was trapped in an oven, with the Ren as the protective wrapping around her.
She wanted to berate herself. This stranger was suffering intensively all because she failed to notice dumb rebar. If only she had run faster, then they both could have out already.
The shivering came upon them once more, however, it wasn't actually from the walls.
"Are you alright?" She asked, noticing how much harder it is for him to maintain the elevation he was at.
"Yeah… just fine."
That was a lie.
They had been under the rubble together for less than a few minutes and she already knew it was a lie.
Mustering up a bit of courage and praying a tad bit to her luck, she squirmed under his protective vigil in order to reach some of the objects around them ever so slightly.
Just need a proper space for her to enlarge her hands and she would be able to provide some more stable support for him. It was a gamble where one wrong move could destabilize the entire mound but she had to take it, otherwise, Ren's pain would continue, and he would eventually fall.
The attempt, however, was noticed.
"Kendo?!"
"It's fine, all I have to do is be careful," She reasoned. "This is just to help you out."
After all, he was above her and basically taking the full brunt… of the… damage.
Oh no…
"Ren, how's your back?" She spoke up clearly to be heard.
It seemed that she had finally noticed the fact that she never felt a bit of rubble on her apart from on her sneakers.
That damn dummy was ensuring that she had a safe haven under him while he took the full force of the damage!
How much pain was he in!? His back must have been murdered from the shrapnel, his bones could be fractured, and worst of all her squirming was no doubt making it worse! He was already barely hanging on there as it is!
"It's fine–"
"No it's not," she said. "You are definitely in pain. I can feel that your arms are straining.
Just relax your arms slightly, okay?" She said. "It won't be good to have them be in pain all the time."
Let me share some of the burdens… she starts to reach out wishing to help, until…
"Kendo." she stops, waiting for him to continue.
"I-I have this… believe me…please," he begged.
She huffs, what's with guys always acting tough…?
Unbeknownst to her, Ren was also having a conversation with Arsene.
(They're getting closer, it'll take maybe… 10 minutes at best…)
That's great… pausing to see if Kendo is still trying to help.
Nice that she cares but, her quirk isn't suited for these types of closed spaces…
(Ren your body, can't hold it much longer either. Even just holding 20% of the weight is hard…)
Well..what do you suggest…?
(Summoned me, to take care of the weight, I can hold it for much longer than you can…the only problem is the space needs to be summoned.)
Fuck…He looks down between the remaining space, he has between himself and Kendo, it's just a foot of space keeping them apart.
Oh sure, he'll love to have a girl in this position, him on top and everything but fuck… he's definitely gonna talk to that fucking rat of a principal about safety.
(I have an Idea…drop your support, and I'll summon myself from that spilt second of space…)
Oh, fuck that's cutting it too close…
(it's the only way…)
Argh...! fine…!
"Kendo" She's taken out of her thoughts by his sudden voice again.
"Yeah?" she hears him sigh…
"Forgive me for this…"
What…? Was her thought when she felt a new weight directly on top of her! And then a bright flash of blue temporarily blinding her…
"Ren! Ren!" she shouts in this enclosed space. Until she hears a muffled response, as she suppresses a moan from escaping her.
He's laying face first in my chest…!
"Wh-what are you doing! Why'd you just drop yourself!" she raged unnoticing, that she has more breathing room.
His response once more muffled, deep in her chest. "St-stop talking with my Boobs in your FACE!" her face, blushing red.
Ren picks his head, back up looking at her "Kendo, haven't you noticed?"
"Noticed what?! That you're a PErrvvv-" she stops, now noticing what was basically a hot oven, starting to cool.
How…? And what was that blue flash…?
"What'cha do…?" she asked, calming just a little bit, to be rational.
Just a bit…!
She looks straight ahead in the darkness, only assuming that's she looking at him.
"It's a secret." he sighed before dropping back down onto sweet bliss.
Secret…!? She can't wait to knock some sense into him, once she's out…!
She sighs, feeling his breath now tickling her chest area.
"Can't you like…move over?" she gets another muffled response, that she can barely translate.
He's too tired to move! ahhh…! She's now mad at the reason why his face had now found itself on her chest was that the excuse was a legitimate one! She starts to breathe in, her thoughts now running wild.
Calm down Kendo. He did just save your life, maybe it's a just reward for him to be laying on your chest. And seriously can she think of any other decent guy more deserving than Ren…?No, she cannot… Just use this as a learning experience for when you meet the right guy, dad's been talking about…yeah! Also, can she think about any other guy taking the brunt of 80 tons crashing on them for her? She can't…!
While her thoughts are going off, Ren is in sweet bliss…
Whoever had said ass was superior, was definitely wrong…He shifts his head, hearing a moan from her…
C cups definitely…also back to them which is better. Both are good, considering his experience with Miruko. There's no denying, that both are good….
(I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, P-partner…)
Oh, yea definitely. Might have just ruined any standing with her, but if you do have any other ideas that involve me, once again being in sweet bliss, don't hesitate. Oh god! My sweats are getting Tight…!
Back to Kendo.
I sure wish he would stop moving so much…it's like–...there's something poking me…
This was going to be a long wait…
xxx(Take Your Time)xxx
Aizawa kept his eyes trained on all the monitors, evaluating examinees alongside the rest of his coworkers that had stayed to also evaluate. The Room, had already been clear, due to confidential reasons, Togata, and Co had already taken off, and the recommended students also left.
His frown was permanently prevalent alongside his tired eyes. None save for a handful of examinees were even worth looking over. However, the handful he had in mind was among the creme of the crop, and he was sure that even the less agreeable co-workers would agree with him.
Shoji Mezo, a student that displayed an excellent ability to detect faux villains and exterminate them through brute strength alone. Tracking ability in summation.
Aoyama Yuga, while not his top pick, does not show hesitance in dealing with faux villains, remaining level-headed and calm enough to deal with situations as they arise… Though Aizawa was not sure whether he was calm due to the situation or just from the narcissism emanating from himself.
Iida Tenya is the complete opposite of the Mezo boy's approach. Instead of going for a vantage point and eliminating the targets, he runs off into the thick of things and analyzes the situation on the fly. Dealing with any that come his way using his mobility and quickly moving to the next he can locate, made much more viable due to the speed at which he could run.
Then there was Bakugo Katsuki.
He is a rather rude and crude fellow. However, despite those flaws, there was no denying the skill and pure innate battle instincts that overflowed him, dealing with mech villains, using his explosions to cause a commotion, drawing in more villains, and repeating the cycle. It didn't really sit well that the brat seemed to be cursing a bloody storm just from the way his lips moved, but all kids nowadays curse he supposed.
On the other side of the spectrum, there were two students who did not destroy mech villains but immobilized them. Two that stood out were Mineta Minoru and Bondo Kojiro. Both of them utilized the adhesive nature of their quirks to completely eliminate their respective movements, earning themselves a handful of points.
If it was a real-life situation, those adhesive quirks would be hard to deal with in a battle scenario if trained well enough. In addition, such quirks are highly valued by the police force due to the fact that they could capture villains far easier as compared to the average Pro Hero and with less effort.
… Even if one of them seemed to be trying to peek up damn skirts during the exam…
There were a few other notable examinees… however, unfortunately, they were in Battle Center A. This meant that all the possible mech villains they could be fighting were taken by the explosive brat.
Despite all of that though, Aizawa gave more thought to Battle Center G. The examinees that were thrown in there were somewhat lesser than the other battle centers. In honesty
Aizawa wanted to evenly split all the examinees across the battle centers, however, due to a time constraint, they were unable to.
There was a standout examinee of course there, and Aizawa was not surprised whatsoever to find it was Ren.
The moment the exam started, the boy aimed right between the plating and had cleaved through a faux villain with ease. Not really surprising seeing as he held himself against the serial killer, 'The Ravager', and several other villains for a substantial amount of time, something which Aizawa begrudgingly admitted. He had been there to witness one of them at least…
Aizawa kept an eye on him throughout, noting how he had weaved around the faux villains and struck them down before moving around the area clockwise. He went zooming around the Battleground like a bird, he wasn't sure when the hell Ren had created that, but it was a good new addition. He was definitely gonna have to contact Tsukauchi, to update Joker's File, just in case the Brat decided to go Rogue again, though he doubted he would.
Akechi wasn't wrong about Ren, taking this as a joke. Ren looked like a showman, performing a circus show, smashing the villains, cleaving them, and performing acrobatic flips, and jumps. Not once did he Summon, Arsene…
The kid was holding back, and that was dangerous in this line of work…
His Battle instincts and a light-hearted attitude were admirable outlook to have during a multitude of situations. The brat had stared death in the face, multiple times and only cared to serve justice, it was not surprising to see that he was being lighthearted in the face of the minimal threat that the Mech villains represented.
Also directly helped out four of his fellow examinees. That earned him a few rescue points for certain.
… However, the moment the zero-point mech villain appeared was when the proverbial shit hit the fan. On two separate battle centers, Midoriya Izuku on one, and Midnight's brat on the other.
The Midoriya kid had leaped from the ground and smashed the zero-pointer faux villain onto the ground. However, in doing so he had shattered his arm and legs. Luckily he was saved by the same girl he tried saving, however that luck was not something he should be relying upon.
It was abnormal, someone with a self-harming quirk or even a quirk that they cannot control well would be a liability.
Then there was Ren…From the angle He had seen, the group of examinees was cutting through the building to escape the zero-pointer. The Ginger-haired girl had tripped with the building collapsing right on their tails, but in that split second Ren had pivoted and grabbed her before she had even touched the ground, not losing any momentum he had. It was almost unbelievable how fast he reacted.
What form of power are personas…? Nezu was right, they have 3 years, to study Ren's and Akechi's powers…
They were nearing the exit until the building had collapsed on them. An Untimely collapse. Hopefully, they were still alive by the time they could dig him out.
Luckily the exam had ended moments after, this allowed Recovery Girl and a handful of other rescue Heroes to make their way to the centers. Midnight had obviously started a fit about her 'baby' being crushed and pulled All-Might towards Battle Center G.
He would've gone out and joined them honestly, but he had no way to help other than to pick up a rock or two one by one with his bare hands. He wasn't really allowed to leave the booth anyway, due to the fact that he had to grade the examinees.
Recovery Girl was heading to the more pressing matter of Midoriya Izuku – broken limbs and all that – and allowed the rescue Heroes to burrow through the rubble on the brat's end. She'd rejoin them once she was done with him, however, to treat the injuries that brat had no doubt sustained. As he looks at the Monitor feed, The examinees were still digging them out. He sighed… It was best to leave the job to those more experienced. That was what Aizawa believed.
The fact that the rubble shifted ever so slightly multiple times was a good sign, but a worrisome one too. The wrong move could crush both buried examinees even further.
As to how the brat himself was still alive and kicking under the thing he didn't know. He could have made something like an elaborate– Magic Bubble, not a too fantastical idea even for him, considering what he's seen or heard about him.
There was also the glass barrier or whatever, All Might had punched, blocking any sort of blow from him…
Maybe the girl had something? Then again, based on the file he read, Itsuka Kendo only had hand enlargement ability, which might be a reason why the rubble shifted so many times.
Aizawa sighed, he should be busy checking through the written exams at the moment but here the brat is dragging himself into such situations.
Maybe it was Arsene after all…? From what he's seen from the Demo-oops Persona, it was slender and sleek, unlike the big buff Robin Hood, he had seen earlier…questions that need answering…
And would look at that All Might, and Midnight have arrived…

"Come on, keep Digging!" Sato and Tetsu Tetsu shouted at each other.
Jiro was listening to the vibrations and conversations of the stuck pair underneath.
She had heard Kendo shout at Amamiya about keeping his mouth out of her chest, and she instantly covered her own chest. There was only one thought that went through her head.
Ren Amamyia is Pervert…
"Jiro!" she turns to Tetsu Tetsu, "How close are we?!"
"Just a little bit more-"
"NEVER FEAR, WHY? BECAUSE I AM HERE!" shouting from the heaven themselves, came All Might crashing down, holding Midnight by the waist. All Might let go of midnight once they had landed, and she looked dazed…
"L-let's not d-do that ag-again…" her hair was all messed up, and puffy.
"HAHA, Apologies MIDNIGHT…"
"Holy it's all Might!" Sato shouted, pausing for a bit.
"Hello there Future Heroes!"
"All Might we have some friends stuck in here!-" Tetsu Tetsu shouted pointing at the rumble.
"Yes! I Understand, now please make some space, and watch a Pro in Action!"
"DETROIT SMASH!" All the previous rumble was now all cleared.
Moving forward a bit "HAHA, Now let's see where our future heroes are at–!"
The group moves, towards the crater, and in the middle are the two examinees laying there.
Kendo had her back on the floor, and Ren was face first in her chest…
"Why did it get so bright…?" they heard Ren mumble, picking his head up from Kendo's chest.
His eyes focus on the buff form of All-Might.
"Ah–!" getting interrupted by a hard slap from Kendo, launching him off of her…
"Now, that were out…you don't have to be on me anymore!" shouted a red-faced Kendo
"So forward…" Midnight mutters…
A little bit after…
Sato, Tetsu Tetsu, and Jiro helped Kendo, and Ren, out of the rumble.
They carried Ren, with both boys holding him up by his shoulders, sitting him down on a piece of rumble.
"Are you gonna be alright?" Sato asked
"I'll Live…"
"Dude you just survived having a building fall on you…" Tetsu Tetsu said.
"Yeah, and I don't plan to have any buildings fall on me, anytime soon."
"Hey, there sonny" Recovery Girl approaches Ren, and he just nods. "You boys and girl, may start leaving now, don't want your parents worrying about you two.'
Sato nodded, and Tetsu Tetsu said "Thanks Granny!" before the duo started making their way back to the Entrance of the battle center. Jiro just nodded, while following the boys out.
Now with them clearing out the way Recovery girl, turned to Ren. "I'm going to have to see the extent of the injuries, can you lift your shirt up?"
"No can do Doc, I may be dying- Ah!" Recovery girl smacks him on the back.
"No you're not, so lift your shirt up."
"I can'-..." He was interrupted.
"I'll help" a voice cuts through, and they turn to see the Ginger-hair girl, approaching.
"Are you sure?" she asked, the Girl blushing a storm.
"I-uh, Of course, he did save my life…"
"Very well, lift his shirt up slowly." She ordered and the girl slowly lifted up his shirt.
Recovery girl frowned, Midnight's son, had his arm muscles overstrained, his back was black and blue with some lacerations, and finally, his knees scrapped from the rough concrete floor.
He wasn't in any worse condition as compared to All Might's inheritor, at least his limbs weren't bent beyond repair for any other nurse except her, but he was still in bad condition. Broken bones, ripped muscle tendons, multiple bruises on his back, and bleeding from the aforementioned back.
"Will he be okay?" Kendo asked,
Itsuka Kendo, if her file had read correctly. She was one of the students would that passed and would be sent to Class B.
Her lips extended, and impacted his skin, allowing the wounds to begin healing themselves.
It wasn't really healing per se, but more increased rejuvenation through the utilization of the subject's stamina. Too much drainage on the subject's stamina could result in death, so she was still very cautious whenever she used her quirk.
The moment she had her lips impact his skin, she sensed something odd. Something was rippling beneath his skin, but Recovery Girl had no idea what it was. Had something else happened to him while he was underneath that rubble?
It wasn't just the odd rippling, even when she was using her quirk, it should not be healing this quickly. It was as if something else was supplementing his body's natural regeneration. What it was, she didn't know.
That was fine, everyone was entitled to their secrets. When the boy was ready, he will tell those he trusted. It wasn't a good idea to force such things out of people until they trusted you a hundred percent. Even if Nezu, tries to squeeze all the info out of this boy, and Akechi, they'll hold on to the secrets no matter what. It looks like both the boys she healed today had their own fair share of secrets.
Once the wounds had disappeared and the fractured bones mended, only the ruined track shirt and ripped sweats remained.
"He'll be fine," Recovery Girl finally responded. "The only problem is that he'll be tired when the next time he wakes up, but that's it." She turned to her. "Don't you need any medical attention? I see that you're struggling to stay standing."
Kendo gave a slow nod, mostly due to the pain she imagined.
After a quick smooch, the girl wobbled a bit, feeling the strange feeling spread across her body.
This was a natural reaction, seeing as her stamina was being drained as fast as possible to mend her broken bones and scraps.
She had taken the least damage between the two of them, and she knew the exact reason as to why. Ren himself had taken the majority of the damage from the rubble and left the girl relatively safe. It was an admirable trait, one that should be somewhat prevalent in Heroes.
"T-Thank you," Kendo uttered, shrugging off the odd feeling that overcame her.
"Don't mention it, child," She replied. "Run along now, the results will be sent to you next week."
She seemed to look hesitant, staring somewhat guiltily at the unconscious one. "… He suffered a lot because of m–" she said. The pair noticed a green particle effect surrounding him.
"All Better now!" he shouted rising back up, they looked at him again, and his back was back to it's healthy skin color.
"Wh-what How?!" Kendo shouts, approaching him.
"It's a secret, Kendo…"
"Why you!-" she gets cut off by Ren immediately turning to Recovery Girl.
"Say Recovery, where did All Might, and My-...Midnight go?" he asked
Recovery girl shook herself out of the stupor, "All Might had to be somewhere, and Midnight said that she needed to grade some papers"
"Mmm, sure was nice seeing All Might again."
"What do you mean again?-" Kendo asked, only to get interrupted again, this time by Recovery Girl. "Since you've recovered now, you two may leave. I'll stay to heal any other Examinees."
"Oh, yea? Alright then Let's go Kendo!" Ren says grabbing her hand, and pulling her with him towards the Exit."
The Boy sure did have a lot of secrets, he just recovered from a week worth of pain…interesting...
Watching the Pair run towards the exit, Recovery Girl stayed silent... only to chuckle moments after, watching the girl had a conflicted and flustered expression as she was being pulled by Midnight's son.
The Pair now jogging…
"Are you sure you're alright? How'd you get better so fast?!" Kendo asked once again.
"Just relax, I'm fine. And didn't I tell you?" He mused. "It's a Secret.." he replies looking back with a goofy smile.
'Oh god, I hope dad doesn't meet Ren'
Ending Song – Friday Night by Sega Sound team
Longest Chapter so Far...
Oh man, so many possible pairings...welp just added Kendo to that list. Goddammit. It's not intentional I swear!
Takemi showed surprisingly. would she show up again? don't know, when we have Recovery Girl for medical issues.
Maybe I should do Royal Version, where all the 'books' are in one completed story, with added scenes, such as Confidant scenes. do entire chapters solely focused on RANKING them up, with each Confidant having a scene.
Focus Red! finished the damn the shitty Crossover first
Also, this chapter is heavily influenced by Ideal Academia. a Fate/Stay night crossover. check it out!
Honestly, who's been checking out the songs? They're Bangers I know.
I hadn't planned to immediately start the sequel. I usually like to finish the complete story before uploading. Don't worry Season one will get completed, so it won't be put on hiatus. Unless I DIE.
Kinda morbid, but that's just how life goes. Also thanks for all the comments, it really Motivating. The next chapter is gonna be released...on the 25rd.
of Next Year! HAHAHHAHAA
