Meanwhile in another part of the jungle Bagheera and Baloo were trying to find Mowgli. They searched everywhere for him. They searched high. They searched low. They searched near. And they searched far.
Bagheera: Mowgli!
Baloo: Mowgli! Where are you?!
Bagheera: Are you here?
Baloo: Come out come out where ever you are!
Bagheera: Now where on Earth did that boy go?
Baloo: I don't know Bagheera. We've been searching for him all over this jungle. And still there's no sign of him.
Just then a loud gunshot was heard. And then a herd of elephants whom Mowgli respected came running very quickly.
Bagheera: Baloo the elephants are running by. Man is in the jungle.
Baloo: If Mowgli's getting kidnapped by them we're gonna lose him forever.
Bagheera: Come on Baloo we must find him immediately!
As Baloo and Bagheera went off they came across a camping site and there was no one there. There was just four tents with pillows and blankets a hanging line with clothes for laundry a couple of bags and baskets full of lots and lots of food and a hunter's gun.
Baloo: Look it's a hunter's camp site. We better not invade it.
Bagheera: You're right Baloo. Let's just stay away from it.
Just then there was some rustling sounds in the trees.
Bagheera: Baloo! Something's coming from the trees. Quick! Let's hide!
Baloo: Right behind you!
So Bagheera and Baloo hid in a very large bush full of jungle leafs. And as they peeked their eyes out as they saw some strange figures end up at the campground. Then as they got closer they saw Mowgli and he was with a girl.
Bagheera: (whispering) It's Mowgli. And he's with a girl. And she's about the same age as he is.
Baloo: (whispering) Wow. Mowgli's really with a girl. That's very nice.
As they watched Mowgli and Shanti started talking.
Mowgli: So this is your campground?
Shanti: Yes it is. And this is where we are staying until we find a new place to build our new village.
Just then they heard a rustling sound in the bushes.
Shanti: What's that?
Mowgli: I don't know. Hey you! Come on out of the bushes and show yourself at once!
Then two yellow eyes and two dark brown eyes appeared. Shanti was getting very nervous as she hid behind Mowgli. Then who should appear but Baloo and Bagheera.
Mowgli: Baloo! Bagheera! What are you guys doing here?
Bagheera: What are we doing here? We've come looking all over for you. And we're both surprised to see you met a new friend who's like you.
Baloo: Yes so can you introduce us to your new friend?
Mowgli: Sure. Shanti. This is Baloo and Bagheera. They're both my best friends in the jungle.
Baloo: Hello there.
Bagheera: Greetings and salutations.
As Shanti froze with a tiny bit of fear she saw the bear and the black panther she then pointed at them and spoke very softly to Mowgli.
Shanti: That's your friends Mowgli?
Mowgli: Yes.
Shanti: A talking sloth bear and black panther just like you told me?
Mowgli: Exactly.
Then Shanti just passed out completely as she laid on her sleeping bag out cold as Mowgli Baloo and Bagheera watched her in shock.
Baloo: Was it something i said?
