Chapter 28

The Distant Future

After the Christmas party had ended, Kiralexia was knocked out cold on the couch with Ashido laying on top of him and Toga sleeping next to Midoriya. In fact EVERYONE was knocked out cold in the living room just snoozing in the day. Kiralexia was the first to wake up and saw Ashido just completely out cold on top of him and gently pushed her off. She landed with a hard thud to the ground and yet did not wake up. When he did get up he went to his lap top and put the flash drive from the whiskey bottle into the computer. Surprisingly it still worked and above it all was showing things that made Kiralexia extra concerned. In a file titled, 'Militia' he found information on the Militia he did not believe the Eternals could get easily. Unlike the files the police had, THESE showed a rough location on where they could be or at least region. His brother, West Europe, Rasputin, Siberia, Rose Dawn, Somewhere around Canton. It wasn't the info that made him worried, it was the fact that this was in the Eternals hands. Why would they want it and what would that use it for?

The most concerning element came when he looked up himself. For you see all of the members had descriptions on abilities and where they could be. Thus see himself be almost clear as to where he was, it made him sweat a bit. It said clear as day, UA Japan, how the hell did they know that? The description made it worse, it claimed that he was incapacitated but when he rose again would become a serious threat, for he was the one who could seriously hurt All For One. It even spoke of a plan to rid him for good but never came because of one woman, Mei Hatsume. This made him very VERY worried. The way it spoke about him made it clear they knew of his predicament FAR before UA even knew of him. Of course the rest of the files had basic plans, blueprints, and even information on the League of Villains. Clearly the Eternals are making plans around these groups, to what end he did not know. What he did know was that the fact the Eternals had a better understanding of where his old friends were, made him feel really stupid.

After that was looked through the rest of the day was casual and not much happened. The next few days however were, for Leo was training class 1-A and 1-B, Kiralexia was basically benched. So he and Toga decided to head out and just enjoy the city. As the returned Toga decided to head back to the League as to not draw to much suspicion and Kiralexia begrudgingly agreed. Yet that statement did have merit. For Shigaraki was becoming more suspicious of Toga coming and going for long periods of time. Dabi reassured him that it was nothing much other than recruitment attempts so it wasn't bad now. However, soon it would be, and Toga was beginning to think of ways to leave. However for now, she'd stay and just play the part until it became TO much for even her to bare.

As the days went on however, Toga looked more and more stressed and anxious. Kiralexia, hell everyone noticed and became worried when she wasn't smiling or even clinging onto Midoriya like she usually did. So Kiralexia decided to make a plan with Ashido and both smiled as they agreed. He walked up to Toga and got her attention.

"Hey Toga you doing okay?"

"Hm of um ya I'm fine it's just, I feel a bit worried for my future. The League is becoming a bit more, unsafe so to say."

"Ah I get it, Shigaraki being an ass as to be expected from the apprentice of All For One. How about this Toga, you come with me and Ashido out for a little stroll around town, get your mind off things." Kiralexia offered making Toga look up at him a bit surprised.

"Really, well what would she think about it?"

"I already talked it over with her and she's fine with it, besides you need to get out of this joint more often. So wanna come?" Kiralexia asked offering his hand to Toga. Toga looked at it and began to smile a bit before taking his hand.

"Sure thing, I could stretch my legs afterall. Is Vanelis coming with us?"

"Fuck no, he's busy with, something going on at school. I heard it had to deal with Nezu and Aizawa and personally I don't want to deal with it. Now come on let's go, were getting cappuccino's." Kiralexia said dragging Toga with him as he did a bit of a silly voice.

After they left the premises of UA they began walking over to a cafe and sat down to talk and eat. Kiralexia mentioned a moment of Ashido trying on one of his own clothes and decided to just take it for the day. She never returned it and he said he really liked that dress. Ashido simply responded with, it's not my fault you have a good taste in clothing. Ya that made Kiralexia stare at her while Toga chuckled. She mentioned a time when Twice decided to dance with her one day and the two began to annoy Dabi because of it. Twice was almost thrown but instead Shigaraki was in the blast zone and got Twice on top of him. She never gave such a mixed reaction ever since. He asked if Twice was fine and he was, it was weeks ago and he's still himself. After drinks and food came, the three began to eat. It was a pleasant feeling Kiralexia was having seeing Toga getting along with Ashido REALLY well.

After they finished they decided to walk around the area, the cold air making Kiralexia sneeze a bit. The three were wearing winter attire and looked pretty cozy. It didn't stop the weather from saying otherwise to them. As they walked they looked around and saw how nice the city looked. I guess even Villains had a few days where even THEY didn't want to do villainy. However Kiralexia and the two girls were noticing the stared people were giving. A few were even muttering and Kiralexia could hear what they were saying.

"Ts that Toga?"

"She's much smaller than I thought."

"Watch yourself, she's still a villain."

'Why is she out here with these two heroes?" This is just a small amount of what they were saying and it made Kiralexia a bit angered.

For one Kiralexia was NOT a hero so for those people to call him such a title irked him the wrong way. Secondly he felt the way they talked about his daughter was flawed and even just wrong. Yes she was a 'villain' but she has been proving herself to be better than most would assume. Kiralexia's eyes narrowed and he tilted his head to there direction slowly forming a fist. Ashido noticed this and held his hand making him snap out of it for a split second to look at her.

"Don't mind them anything, they're not worth your time." Ashido said making Kiralexia sigh and ease up a bit.

"You're right it's just, I feel people judge me and my daughter FAR to quickly." Kiralexia said looking over to the left and doubly taking when he noticed someone. "Hey isn't that Midoriya?" He asked looking directly at him.

Lo and behold he really was on the other side of the street. He was wearing a thick coat and was talking with Kirishima of all people. Ashido got there attention and the two boys stopped and waved at the three. Kiralexia was both relieved and flustered at the same time, he wanted to make Toga happy, not lovey dovey. Then suddenly Kiralexia had heard something, something from above the two boys. He looked up and saw a scaffolding begin to break off. His heart dropped as the wires began to snap off and soon the whole thing began free falling. Toga and Ashido had noticed it as well and Toga decided to run rapidly to the two boys across the street. Kiralexia panicked and used his quirk to try and stop the scaffolding. It fell with a loud bang on the ground and Kirishima still standing there looking around confused.

As for Midoriya he groaned a bit as he landed backwards onto the ground and looked up. Toga was on top of him having a face of worry on her, he looked behind her to see the scaffolding just sitting there with Kirishima very confused. He then looked back at Toga and was surprised to see her look so worried about him. He was shocked that SHE risked her life for his. Everyone else was shocked to however Kiralexia and Ashido ran to the two and breathing heavily. Well okay Kiralexia was breathing heavily and even began to speak to Toga about the situation.

"Toga I know I haven't been with you for to long recently but if you keep doing this, I'm gonna have a heart attack." He exclaimed catching his breath.

Toga turned to face him and sat on Midoriya's legs as she smiled at him saying it's what he deserved after what HE'S done. He replied touche meanwhile Ashido went over to Kirishima and checked on him to see if he was okay. Kiralexia walked up to him and made a nervous chuckle.

"You alright man? Sorry I couldn't stop it in time."

"Oh I'm fine just gonna have a fucking bruise on my head now." Kirishima responded rubbing the top of his head.

At that moment Kiralexia and the others noted the crowd beginning to form around them. They were whispering however it was not bad this time. It was more on if what they saw was actually the truth. If the villain, Himiko Toga, saved the hero Izuku Midoriya? Kiralexia quickly looked at the two and noted that they were beginning to get a bit pink faced. However he also noticed an aura around the two. Toga's was bright however Midoriya's was faint, like a faint flame about to ignite. Kiralexia brushed that off and then faced the crowd.

"Okay everyone no need to suffocate us, get going you vultures." He said shooing them away.

As the crowd was leaving Toga got off of Midoriya and walked over to Kiralexia, leaving Midoriya on the ground, with his mind racing. His face was still flushed and his sight was focused on Toga. He couldn't help but ask himself, did he really begin to have THOSE thoughts when she saved him. The look of concern on her face, and the closeness of the two together, he couldn't stop thinking if HE began to fall for her? It should be impossible but, this just shook him to the core, perhaps he does, or maybe not? Whatever the case, he would not lie to himself, he has begun to sprout feelings, yet of love or just compassion, he will wait and see.

After that whole affair was over not much happened after. Toga was getting to know Midoriya more and he as well. Kiralexia was trying his best with leads on the Militia headquarters of Japan and nothing, except one clue and even then it wasn't helpful. One day, a mere two days before new years Kiralexia went up to Midoriya's room to deliver him something. He was in there on his computer talking with someone. Kiralexia wanted to know and took a look at there gamer tag. It said 'Stabby Knife' Kiralexia could instantly tell who it was. He looked over at Midoriya and asked how long he had been talking to them.

"Roughly a few months why?"

"Because it's been my daughter you've been talking to." Kiralexia responded making Midoriya suddenly double take. He then made a face of pure shame and embarrassment.

"I can't believe I never noticed."

"YOU NEVER NOTICED!? Ya know for someone whose very observant, you're pretty fucking dense." Kiralexia said making Midoriya just sink in his chair in embarrassment.

After that whole mess, Kiralexia and Vanelis prepared the fireworks for new years. The kept them hidden for a while so that Bakugou wouldn't find them. However once New Years hit, before it was even midnight, Bakugou found them and decided to go all out. All of one of the boxes filled with fireworks, was blown up and Kiralexia just felt like weeping.

"So much money down the drain." Kiralexia muttered a bit looking defeated.

"So we're celebrating the new year early?" A voice said and everyone turned to see who it was.

It was Golden White Jake and his crew, alongside Malin with a karaoke machine and a bunch of alcohol. Kiralexia was happy seeing them again and said that the party was now beginning with them. They entered the Dorm and set up everything. From the karaoke machine in the living room, to food and beverages on the counter. Kiralexia smiled as he saw the set up and decided to clap his hands together.

"Okay let's make one rule clear now guys, no alcohol to the minors. I'm not having Aizawa kick my ass because of you lot."

"Ya might as well drop that now."

"Why's that?"

'Them." One of the pirates said pointing to some students.

Damn that's fast, barely about a minute and already getting drinks. It wasn't all of them mind you, Ilda was holding a punch cup firmly, and Todoroki was drinking tea, but there were those that had alcohol on them. Kiralexia began to sweat bullets as he turned to see Aizawa looming over him.

"H-hey man, just know I had no control over this."

"I'll, make an acceptation tonight BUT, if they drink anymore after tonight. You are dead, got it?"

"Yes sir." Kiralexia answered with a slightly higher pitched voice then before.

Aizawa then left them and Kiralexia felt as if his soul just left him for a split second. The pirate was the same only he just stared at his beer can and just tossed it away afterwards. Kiralexia agreed saying it was for the best for now. HOWEVER, everyone would have a fun time, Kiralexia would decide to embarrass Vanelis by saying a story.

The story goes that one day when Vanelis was gone for a long time, everyone began to question what he was doing. So he and his brother went out to look for him, and after about 15 minutes of searching they found him. Stones out of his mind in a field of herbal leaves, and mushrooms. Turned out he snuck a bunch of Marijuana onto the mission and it had caught fire when he was fighting someone and he had to leave. The mixture of burning pot, possibly eaten acid shrooms, and herbal leaves, made him look like a stoned cat. For he was laying on his back and had his beet up on a tree while his arms were outstretched. When Kiralexia said the story Vanelis was just red as a beat after it was finished and he clarified.

"To be fair, that was meant as a gift for some members in the Militia, I was going to give them after the mission but. Ya things happen and it took more than a DAY to get it all out of my system." Vanelis said with many of the students laughing at him where he just accepted it and still looked red faced.

Kiralexia smiled when he found something embarrassing about him. Of course that story was tame and he'd even it out with a story on Rasputin where one day during a mission he and Kai where doing something. He couldn't remember what it was but he did remember that something came up that made the two immediately tense up. They were in a colder environment, Kai wore a warm suit so it was fine for him, they slipped on ice and Kai got a face full of skeleton junk. Rasputin just gave a face that screamed, 'never speak of this.' to everyone. However Kiralexia said he was to busy PISSING himself laughing at such a moment.

Overall the storied Kiralexia told and the things happening today were nice. Er, tonight, anyways AHEM, Vanelis was speaking of a moment where he faced an army of about hundred and took them all down without a sweat. However Kiralexia knew this moment and spoke up about it saying he didn't break sweat, he broke bone. Turned out the fight costed him an arm and a leg, literally. As it was revealed that he had his arm and leg ripped off in the process of fighting the horde. Oh and it was 50 not a hundred Kiralexia clarified. Vanelis simply just sighed and shook his head.

"I suppose this is your way of getting back at me?"

"Oh ya, enjoy it I'm here ALL NIGHT." Kiralexia said with a smile on his face.

Vanelis simply just shook his head some more before taking a drink from his cup, which was filled with beer. Kiralexia himself had a bottle of vodka and mixed it with something… honestly I couldn't tell you WHAT he mixed it with as it just looked like apart of the fruit punch, but it could've been something else. Either way, this night was already showing everyone that Kiralexia and Vanelis could be friendly, if they wanted to. Last time they weren't exactly, friendly or even modest as Kiralexia strapped him from a flag pole by his shirt collar and pants. This happened two days ago and the whole school saw it and he just stayed there hanging on both his shirt and pants, until his shirt tore a bit and pulled his pants down to show his boxers. After that ordeal Kiralexia got his comeuppance by getting a pole shoved up his ass from a stealthy Vanelis.

In short two days ago the two were pulling things like that to one another, and in fact Kiralexia was constantly trying to either get Vanelis to bleed, or be in some form of pain and embarrassment. Now note it wasn't EVERYDAY, but enough to be seen as a usual, hell one day Kiralexia just straight up shot Vanelis in the dick and he was forced to call off training because of that. Of course some days they were modest, kind even, Vanelis giving him paperwork he finished, or Kiralexia aiding in computing for electronics as Vanelis said he was piss poor in it a long time ago. Yet tonight showed that it was a much more tame thing compared. Everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief that the two were just joking at one another, or at least Kiralexia was, and were in good moods.

Hell everyone was tonight, as the mix of drinks, activities of various things, and just straight up talks and singing, it was good. Kiralexia felt at ease to get away from everything, while the students were just enjoying the party. Of course a little later, well beyond an hour before the crack of midnight, Kiralexia lit fireworks and was in glee when he saw them up in the sky.

"Ha big boom booms make loud BOOM BOOMS!" Kiralexia said with a huge smile on his face as he lit a few firework cakes.

After that little exchange he lulled and went back inside to drink, eat, and enjoy life. He painted the nails of Ashido and Ashido helped with makeup for him, making him look like a 70's rock performer. At this point, roughly thirty minutes after the fireworks, Kiralexia and Vanelis were drunk. Of course some lightweight pirates were drunk and passed out to, but these two were just straight up drunk. Not badly, but enough to slur words a bit and became incredibly giggly. Kiralexia then suggested to Vanelis to begin singing karaoke which he accepted. They then went to TOWN singing into the machine. Kiss, I was Made For Loving You was first, then it was Separate Ways, and… okay it was a bunch of late 1900's songs, but there were a few early 21st century songs two and the two just went into it. Sweat, screaming or slight gibberish, then really good singing of course, in short it was a blast. Everyone was happy at this but also a bit, miffed at the fact that they kept going for about an hour or so.

The only stopped when Kiralexia just began to laugh his ass off during singing a joke song. It was nothing specific just a song that you wouldn't sing normally unless either for a joke, or a dare, and he was to busy laughing to sing. And Vanelis just passed out within the first verse of the song. Of course he got back up in an instant but he was still down for a while. Then when it was about 30 minutes till midnight Kiralexia was just huddled up with Vanelis and Jack, who was most sober compared to the other two, and the three just began singing sea shanties.

Ashido and Toga also joined in and soon the WHOLE ROOM, was just a fucking pirate ship with sea shanties. Both fantasy and Irish, along with more modern ones. It was honestly hilarious to see especially with one verse of a Dwarven shanty, where Vanelis sang it for a split second, and passed out again. He was awake for when it was five minute until midnight but still. As for Eri in this situation, she was already asleep by this moment and was knocked out cold even with all the singing and loud noises going on around them. Kiralexia then sat down and was smiling as Ashido, who was buzzed from beer earlier, and just smiled alongside him. She wooed as Kiralexia began to laugh a bit at Jack making a bit of an ass of himself. Kiralexia was happy at long last after hell let loose earlier.

Of course with Toga she was also at ease but Kiralexia, despite being drunk, could tell something was off with her. However he would leave it be, afterall he was WAY to drunk to tell her off or something. Thus a minute until the end of the year, and Kiralexia simply smiled as he thought of a resolution. Well less resolution more a goal. To be more joyous peaceful, and above all else, to find his old family. Whenever that happens he'll be ready, and he's taking his new one with him when he goes.

Then the bells tolled and the new year began, the dawn has finally come upon a new year. Brother what a year hasn't it been, this whole ordeal with Covid and, everything has been, difficult for many. Sure by the time this is written it has been WELL OVER two years since then but my point still stands. Yet fear not times will change and when they do, better times are upon us. If not, then well, let us hope SOMEONE out there will do something. Anyways back to the story.

The end of the old and start of the new. Kiralexia looked over to Vanelis who decided to just sleep on the floor and was knocked out cold. While he was vicious on the battlefield, he was also calm and a bit relaxing to be around. When he wanted to be that is, yet it was strange. He showed that he was insane earlier on and even during training yet outside of it, he was different. Perhaps he was a mix of calm yet Mischievous, and malicious and unstable. Sort of like Loki mixed with someone from the Odyssey, god or otherwise. Yet something else was strange. I feel as though something is off, yet I know not what. Are they aware of me, or are they unaware? Do they have a goal, or are they here for the ride? And Toga, oh gods what will happen with her? Only time will tell when that happens.

Either way this has been a journey and will continue for as long as I breath and am able to write down the story. Yet for now I am tired and wish to nap. So goodnight everyone, and have a peaceful rest of your week, the next story to tell will take time. Until then, woof, time for bed for me.everyone.
