Chapter 31

The Chase

After the fiasco with the second headquarters of the Militia, Kiralexia was now relaxing far more so. His mind wandered around more often but in that time he decided to do his own personal things to aid the city. Most of what he did was seen as drawing a line at best, for he was killing people without remorse or beat them to a bloody pulp. After a few days of this, enemies were rising against this psycho. Kiralexia was partially aware of this but felt they were not as threatening as other groups of villains out there. Thus on one day, a mere three days after the second headquarters fiasco, things would hit him hard on how bad this grudge became. As he was driving down the roads with the Bakusquad in his car, he was talking with Ashido in the front on something as the others just chilled.

The reason for him driving was because he had to get something for his Pirate friend and it was on the far side of the city. He drove on with a relaxed expression on his face and just enjoying life. It was sunny and the snow while still out, was no where on the roads nor streets, a plus to the big cities. He was entering into a long stretch of road and noticed cars following him pretty closely. Different colors and sizes and even a few bikes being near his. He looked over his driver window confused and immediately recognized who it was. This was a gang he had beaten up now coming after him with yet another gang he beat up and killed a few members of. His eyes dilated as he gave out a response.

"Oh shit." He said before having his car get slammed by the others one.

This surprised the Bakusquad not expecting that response at all and looked out the windows realizing they are surrounded by a gang of thugs. Kiralexia swerved slightly as he realigned himself on the road and looked back out the window. The side door to the Van next to him, yes it was a van, opened up revealing one thug holding the side of the passenger door, and two in the center with one holding a bat, and the other with a crooked tooth smile and rifle. As Kiralexia struggled to think of a plan Ashido was the one to ask him the important question.

"What the hell's going on? Why are these guys attacking us."

"Well I may have pissed them off when I was doing Vigilante work and long story short they're out for blood."

"Oh that's just great, we're gonna get beat up by a bunch of thugs because you wanted to help the city out with this type of shit." Bakugou said with his usual anger.

"Hey complaining ain't gonna save ourselves. Now someone hold the wheel I've gotta do something." Kiralexia said letting the steering wheel go.

Ashido, being the ONLY other person close enough to it grabbed it and began steering crazily. The car began jerking around and actually knocked one of the bikers off there bike and then went down. Kiralexia still had his foot on the gas and was just going as he forged a pistol out of thin air. He then rolled the driver window down and began to fire the pistol at the rifle gang members. One hit one in the should and the other his the one hanging on the side and he fell because it hit him in the elbow hanging onto the side. As he fired the other one, who was not hit, fired his rifle and bullet holes now formed on the side of the car. Kiralexia then decided to swap himself with Ashido with a strange phase relocation quirk. Ashido was confused and looked up at the roof as she saw Kiralexia look down at her.

"Keep it steady we need these guys gone soon and I have a better vantage point up here." He said before popping out of view and standing on top of the moving Vehicle.

As he stood up a few of the gang members also got on to the roofs of there vehicles and began firing at Kiralexia. Many missed and a few just dinged off, as they fired however Kiralexia hopped to there van roof and began fighting these gang members with fists and feet. High kicking one in the face and punching another in the gut, he was like an acrobat moving with high speed and deadly precision. He cartwheel kicked another in the head knocking them off the vehicle and then swept the leg of another before tossing them off as well. Two more peered up to him and landed a shot at him but once again it didn't dent him. In response he jumped through the door where he was and kicked the two out of the car and off the bridge into, the rest of wining driveways. a loud splat was made as he turned to the driver to his right side and gouged his eyes out from behind his skull.

After that he then phased onto his own cars roof again and looked as Bakugou blew up one of the bikers coming up on them. He smirked as he suddenly got his with a metal pipe. He quickly turned to the man and noticed three other gang members on the roof. As the man with the pipe wound up to swing again he grabbed it and punched him in the gut making him fall to the ground. He used the pipe to crack skulls, by slamming it into the head of one of them sideways and the other overhead. Both became dazed and fell off without even a bit of resistance. This fight on the road was becoming less a fight more a slaughter. That is until the big guns came, literally and figuratively. As a volley of gunfire shot to the side of Kiralexia's side and he turned to see the bullets hit windows on a skyscraper. He looked from where they came from and found a Technical, the trucks with machine guns behind them. He was shocked to see that and decided to grab a rifle one of the gang members had used and fire at the technical. Not much damage to the car, killed the gunner with a well placed head shot. Then another gunner came up and retaliated.

The force that hit him made him fall back and lie down on the roof of the car before firing again killing the driver this time. The car swerved out of control and crashed with the gunner flying and smacking into the pavement on the now passing bridge. Kiralexia smirked and began to stand up shooting to the driver on his right as he did so. They were now clear, at least until several MORE technical came from around them and were now tailing them. Alongside that a few more bikers, some wielding metal chains, and a few vans with more gang members in it. This was starting to confuse Kiralexia, how in the hell was this even happening? Better yet, how are these gangs getting away with this when Heroes are patrolling the street?

"I thought this wouldn't happen with Endeavor as Number 1!"

"Well he's not All Might so there's that!" Ashido answered with Kiralexia simply nodding in agreement.

He then looked to his left and noticed Kirishima next to him and ready to fight. How the hell did he even get on the roof? No matter Kiralexia simply accepted it and got himself ready to fight off the onslaught. The first thing he did was catch a pipe thrown at him with ease and threw it into the driver window impaling them, this was the technical one of them at least and they went out of control crashing shortly after. He then braced for a barrage of bullets which would both hit him and miss him entirely. Kirishima then readied himself when four or so gang members, wielding a variety of weapons, were on the roof and now ready for a fight. He smacked one around before punching another in the gut then tossing one more towards Kiralexia by grabbing there pipe and just throwing them.

Kiralexia then broke there back, Bane style, and tossed them into one of the bikers, which missed them and instead the man got ran over by one of the vans. Kiralexia actually winced slightly as the man got ran over and weaved a bit as someone tried to hit him with a makeshift weapon that was wielded like a bat. Kirishima aided him by punching the man right in his face and the careened off the edge of the car. As that was happening with more gang members going on top to get into a close up fight with Kiralexia and Kirishima, Bakugou had just grabbed the chains of one of the bikers who was, gonna break one of the tired with it. He reeled him in close and blew up his face, knocking them down and tossing them away.

In short, chaos was erupting with Ashido driving the car and everyone trying there best to fight off the gangs. However Kiralexia knew that they couldn't hold them all off forever, well okay maybe but he wasn't going to test it out. He then turned over to Ashido as he kicked another off of him in the chest and spoke to her.

"We're gonna need to get out of here, these bastards are gonna out gun us soon!"

"On it!" Ashido yelled swerving off of the highway and down into a more urban area of the city.

As she swerved Kiralexia magnetically clamped down onto the to roof and Kirishima stumbled and landed back first onto the roof of the car. He almost fell off but Kiralexia grabbed him and pulled him back up as another gang member just careened off and landed onto the intersection. Once they went into the urban roadway, a few of the Technicals and a van followed but the others were to fast and just smacked into the wall area, at least the bikes did. The others just missed entirely. By a few it was only one, a second had made it but Kiralexia had shot out a tire as it was turning and thus made it crash. Once the turn was finish Kiralexia then looked into the drivers window with a bit of a sick of this shit expression on his face.

"Next time, give a better warning at that shit." Kiralexia said before a bullet hit his head with little to no reaction from him.

Ashido didn't really respond and instead went on on the road and hard turned again to the left. She would then twist and weave through the streets to make sure the cars behind struggled to catch up or even follow. This amount of twists and weaves would make Kiralexia and all others in the car, a little sick. When there was only two cars behind them after a roundabout and another hard turn down a road hill Kiralexia had time to recover as he and two other goons were very shaky and dizzy. He didn't even need to hit them as both fell and one vomited and fell down into it as the other stumbled off the car. Kiralexia smirked as he just lightly pushed the one fallen over off and then turned over to Ashido with a very annoyed expression.

"Don't do-" Before he could finish, he vomited down on the road and shook his head clearly not happy at this. "Thanks but please don't do that again. Oh god I feel woozy." He said slightly swaying as he did so.

He got back up standing as he saw three bikers coming up, 2 on each bike, and one of them had a rifle aimed and ready. He looked at Kirishima, who the rifle one was aiming at and he shot a wire at him. It wrapped around him and he got out of the bullets path in time as Kiralexia grabbed onto him. Of course Kirishima could harden and the bullet barely phase him, BUT he was dizzy and would not have noticed in time, which Kiralexia thankfully knew. In response top the man with the rifle, he gave him a finger gun and a bullet hole formed in the mans head and he fell over onto the road. The one riding got distracted by that looked behind him and found his neck gripped by Bakugou's hand as he punched him and tossed him to the ground.

Of course the other two did scrap up the car and one went past Bakugou and to the drivers side window and stared down Ashido. Kiralexia was about to stop that when Ashido grabbed the mans hand and spewed acid out. The man screamed and clenched his hand as Ashido then spewed acid onto the front wheel and the vehicle crashed after that. Kiralexia was kinda impressed as he fired his finger gun as the biker on the right and crashed there vehicle.

"I gotta say, that was impressive, but also good god that was dark." Kiralexia said as a bullet once again hit him.

He looked over at the one who did it and realized a technical was still on there tail. He rolled his eyes breathed in before basically spitting back out with no spit but the air. It knocked the wheel of the technical and it began to swerve but the driver was competent, and kept it somewhat straight. Impressive although Kiralexia would just create a rock in his hand and chucked it down, once again causing the car to swerve when it hit it. Although it still stood straight and the machine gunner behind launched a flurry of bullets at Kiralexia and it had knocked him down due to the force. He retaliated by jumping onto the back of the truck and slamming the mans head into the back window. He then grabbed the machine gun and fired it into the car, before jumping off and landing back on his own. That caused the car to swerve and crash before having a small explosion from the engines appear.

Kiralexia smirked at that before hearing horns and he turned to see between the buildings was one of the vans with many of the goons looking ready for a fight. Kiralexia sighed, it seemed this fight would not end without one of them dead. The car then swerved over to them having two big goons jump onto the roof staring Kirishima and Kiralexia down. These two were big and somewhat muscular, but not enough to stop Kiralexia from punching one of them in the face. At least he tried to, instead it basically just bounced back and Kiralexia looked at his hand a little winced from the pain. Of course blood did form on the goons face but they simple wiped it away and punched Kiralexia in the face as retaliation

He whirled back a bit and shook his head from the force. Kirishima then punched the other in the gut and the man smiled at that punching Kirishima in the head. Kiralexia recovered quickly and got up bicycle kicking both goons across the body yet both were unflinching. Kiralexia was kinda surprised at that for he used a bit more force in that last one over the punch.

"Sturdy fuckers." Kiralexia said a bit impressed at that fact.

One then punched him in the face again while the other kicked him to the ground and stomped on his stomach. Kiralexia wheezed at that and cough a bit from the blow, of course. Kirishima grappled the one on top of him and got tossed, just enough time for Kiralexia to kick the man in the balls and have them real back clutching it. Kiralexia scoffed and made a quick cackle before wheeling around and slamming his fist into the face of the other one, this time actually breaking the jaw. The man tried to scream but all that came out was gurgling with Kiralexia now looking a little smug.

"Yet not sturdy enough." He said before upper cutting the mans broken jaw cracking teeth on the roof of the mouth.

This caused the man to stumbled and fall off the car with Kiralexia now little pleased with the death. He then felt a hand on his head and twist his head around to see the other big guy behind him clearly mad. Kiralexia had a little blood drip from his mouth as he just remained silent with Kirishima punching the man in the back and audible cracks came from the blow. Kiralexia fell over and slowly got up grabbing his head and twisting it back into position with him feeling VERY uncomfortable with what just happened. He then returned the gesture to the man and broke his neck easily with one hand and a twist. The van came back around and fired bullets into the car this time and now Kiralexia was getting annoyed, he sighed and had his hand forge and energy ball before firing it into the van and a fire formed knocking the damn van onto its side with flames licking around the ends. Kiralexia sighed and kneeled with Kirishima walking over to him a bit worried. He shook it off and breath a little heavily before responding.

"I'm fine worry not Kirishima, perhaps that will be the last as they know not to fuck with me." Kiralexia said with a bit of exacerbation in his tone.

Then horns blared once more, this time MUCH deeper and louder. Kiralexia stood and looked as a semi truck was coming into view behind them as they left the streets of the urban city. Kiralexia was clearly done with this shit as the semi truck barreled down to them. Kiralexia then looked to the right and saw what looked like a battle wagon, some how, was also charging at them as they now began to cross a bridge.

"Oh give me a break!" Kiralexia yelled very annoyed at the circumstances at him now. To make matters worse Ashido would have to get the attention of Kiralexia for something had come up in front of them.

"Uh Kiralexia."

"Now what?"

As Kiralexia said that it suddenly dawned on them that they were becoming trapped. Ahead of them was a blockade of a couple of gun positions mixed with parked vehicles and other things for a blockade. Kiralexia just kind of went mentally numb from THAT sight and just raised his arms out exacerbated.

"Okay now where they hell did they get THAT!?"

'The League perhaps. They may not be apart of it but they may supply them. I'd argue against Toga but she's already out so whatever."

"Well now what we're trapped, we can't break that."

"Don't despair so early Ashido I have a plan. Just punch it to overdrive." Kiralexia said looking a bit smug as he did so.

Ashido clearly concerned did follow the directive and slammed her foot on the gasp peddle. As the car zoomed out with the truck and battle wagon tailed them with a rocket fired at them, Kiralexia suddenly put up a barrier. However the rocker did not come close to them at all and hit off forward from there position, a hole formed as they passed the smoke from the rocket. Kiralexia then felt a few bullets hit him in the back of the head and body he turned to see the gang members on the other side began to fire at them. A few did hit the car itself thus Kiralexia turned the barrier away from there rear and to the front. They then heard another rocket be fired and this time it seemed much closer to hitting them. Kiralexia simply grabbed it and turned it around to launch at them. It didn't hit but it did get close and rattled the semi-truck.

Kiralexia's face had ash on it since well, he got hit by the engine blowing onto him. He coughed a bit as smoke came off his mouth and shook his head. After that he used his right arm to be extended and used as an engine. As his arm blasted a blue flame the car began just speeding through the bridge with a rocket blast just passing by them. Kirishima was holding on for dear life on Kiralexia's tail, pulling rather hard and making Kiralexia wince a bit. However he kept up his movement and soon the barrier that was blocking them in front just got smashed down, kind of. The front wheels were off the ground at that point and now they just blasted through with the back mainly smashing the barrier with ease. They landed past it with a hard thud and a small bounce before continuing on the path. Once a good distance was now behind them and the barrier, Kiralexia moved his barrier hand to the back and turned off his engine hand. Of course the semi truck and battle wagon still moved toward them but where much further.

Kiralexia looked a bit smug as he turned his head to the front and saw the pirate outpost for them. Perfect timing because a whole escort of gang members came into view, with technicals, vans, and another semi. At that point Kiralexia just sighed and produced a gattling gun and prepared to fire. As the technicals got closer her fired and many got shredded in an instant. The first semi that follow now was at there side and Kiralexia looked up at them to see many of them jump down and begin firing at Kiralexia. Kiralexia looked at his gun and began to turn it before firing at them, not exactly a smart move on there part. Then a few bigger guys came into view with them wearing armor. He was going to fire again but got stopped by one of them grabbing the barrel of the gun and just, crunch. Kiralexia then nervously chuckled as he stared down the one who did that as he grabbed his collar and tossed him to the semi truck. He groaned as he stood up and saw a whole lot of gang members. A bit much but he could handle them. He stood up cracked his knuckles and began to fight, each punch, each kick, even head slams would send gang members down or just kill them outright form the force of the blow.

Yet even still Kiralexia would tire and bit and his movement becoming slower as he would soon face one of the larger goons now looking more ready to kick his ass. Kiralexia began to breath rapidly before putting up his fists and charging at him at full force. he'd jab, and even make a right hook on the mans face but it wouldn't do much as he grabbed him and slammed him into the semi truck. He was about to be crushed by the giant hands but he kicked them away back twirled out of the way and then did what could best be described as a ballerina twirl before a kick to the chest. The kick had enough force it slammed to man into the nearby building and he was now out of sight. Kiralexia smile as he got his head slammed in by another one of the big guys. He backed away and regained his composure before grabbing the floor beneath him and making a make shift sword and shield combo. The gang member punched the shield and a large dent formed on it. After that Kiralexia swung a heavy swing to the mans torso, cutting him in half.

He looked into the semi truck and produced a few grenades and dropping them in. he hopped off and cut the last man in half as they went to try and crack Kirishima. A few seconds after the back of the semi truck blew up and the truck slowed before stopping entirely unable to move. Kiralexia then turned his attention to Ashido who now was fully focused on getting to the location on time.

"How much longer till we arrive? It's starting to get a little much up here."

"I don't know but you might want to deal with THAT!" Ashido said pointing behind out the window.

He looked behind and saw the battle wagon was now right behind them and a few were climbing on and breaking the back of the car.

Kiralexia got fired up and looked down shocked as he kicked one off and they got crushed by the battle wagon. Kirishima and Bakugou, having enough of this were now on top of the car and Bakugou launched himself to the battle wagon and began to blow it up. Kiralexia was a little surprised, and even more so when Kirishima just clonked one of the gang members in the head making them fall off. Alright perhaps not that much with Kirishima but definitely, startled at Bakugou just going all out at this group. Bakugou then jumped off and gave the battle wagon one final explosion and the whole thing went up in flames making another car behind them crash from the surprise. Kiralexia Bakugou and Kirishima were ready to go all out this time when a loud boom came from behind and an explosion in front shortly after. They looked behind to see the pirates taking out the gang members with cannons, and other weapons. On even just swung on a grappling hook to land on a van, plop a grenade in the front and grapple away before it exploded. Kiralexia now sighed of relief as now FINALLY the gang members dispersed and rand away, with a few more dying as they did so.

Kiralexia hopped back into the car this time passenger side and noticed just how badly the car got hit. Bullet wounds on the side and front, cracked windows, even the mirror on the drivers side got taken off. However it was still driving and functioning and they stopped in the middle of the fortification. Now for those unaware, the pirates have a small, 'trading hub' on Japan's mainland, it's well fortified and gives goods out to anyone, heroes and villains. Sure conflicts brew between the two, but overall it's peaceful and even Hawks has been seen to make agreements with these pirates. Now THESE pirates are in line with Pirata Lord Jack, but usually follow there next in command, who stays on the island and surrounding area for security reasons. Because of this the region is a bit more autonomous from Jack's, main force simply because he doesn't want the ire of the Heroes AND Villains on him. Even though he already has a few times but that's besides the point.

As the group were greeted with a pleasant feeling of joy and smiles, Kiralexia got out of the car, a little weird he jumped in only to get out but whatever. As he got out he walked around the area, which was small and had a few buildings, mainly two barracks, a little trading shop, and an armory, along with the command building, which was just a converted hotel. He then saw the commander of this whole operation and walked over to them with a smile on his face. The commander turned and shun a smile back at him. They were female with a slender body, but strong forearms. She wore a mix between a military cap and the 17th century colonial hat, with long white hair braided at the sides. Her boobs, well average mixed with petite in size so let's move on. Kiralexia shook her hand and spoke out her name.

"Commander Ellis, how's business?"

"Been better but overall fine, now come with me I've got the item you requested. The rest of you get the rest you need, that was one hell of a fight." Ellis said with Kiralexia following them into the command building.

As the moved through a few pirates were roaming the area, doing random tasks with a few around a map on a table discussing something with trade. They moved passed this table and went up a floor to a different one, this one with a few tiny flags, clearly showing control and areas of interest. Kiralexia stood over looking the map as Ellis went to grab the item from a nearby cabinet. As she grabbed it she put it on the table as Kiralexia brushed off a few bullets still stuck to him. The item was something from the Militia days, broken down but still usable. It was torn and the screen that was on it cracks across it. Kiralexia grabbed it and looked it over, he clicked a little button and the screen flashed on before blinking out. He sighed, it was damaged beyond his own abilities, but still fixable. Ellis saw this and spoke out about the device.

"Keep it close, that thing is suppose to house all the military data of the Militia. You don't know what I had to go through to get it."

"It housed more then that, it housed the records of all actions taken by the Militia before AND if I am lucky, after the war. This will help me grab the final piece of that puzzle."

"Well, there is another." Ellis said looking a little scheming. Kiralexia raised an eyebrow as she began to speak.

"Mei Hatsume contacted me earlier, said to inform you of an opportunity that cannot be passed up."

'I can pass any opportunity I want, but I am listening."

"How would you feel going home?" Ellis said with a sigh.

"Back to Ireland? Well I'd love to go back, perhaps I could even-"

"Not there." Ellis said halting Kiralexia from speaking anymore. "I mean the place you were born." She said with Kiralexia's eyes dilating.

The very place he was built, a place he had left long ago. He wished to never return after the mission, and now he's being forced to go back? Not likely to ever happen, he has to tell Mei he won't go. After a deep breath she looked at Ellis and give his response.

"Absolutely not. I can't go back, not after what I did. Besides if I did return, I'd be experimented on and become what they want, the ultimate weapon."

"It's not like that. Mei is saying you must go because she's going to be showing off her technology to the masses there. Besides, most of those old geazer are either dead, or think you are dead."

"Exactly, those still alive will notice who I am and take me back and turn me into a slave."

"You're strong willed, you can handle them. Plus if any place knows about the Militia, it's your home." Ellis said with Kiralexia thinking it over.

It was true that his old home had a lot of info on him and the Militia. If he is to gather the right things to get the final piece perhaps returning to that nightmare is the best option. His only fear, is he may see HIM. Dead or not can't be certain, but if it's for Mei Hatsume, ah hell with it. Kiralexia sighed before looking up at Ellis a little annoyed and dismissive but still gives a response.

"When do we leave?" He asked with Ellis looking a bit happier.

He would not like it but he would go, if it meant he found the right information then so be it. He would go back to that place, he would return home. It would be time to go back, back to I- Island.
