Chapter 34
Secrets of the Island
It was late at night when Midoriya went into the Hotel room he was staying in as everyone else was having fun as was he in the day, he kept thinking of that Program he overheard Dr. Kalvo speaking of. What was that program anyways? He couldn't let it slip by and besides, he wanted to learn why Kiralexia was so unwilling to speak of that man? What did Dr. Kalvo do to him to cause such fear? Whatever the case, he'd find out and make sure to help Kiralexia whenever possible, and now was that time. he'd get out of his room and move down the hall and up a floor to Kiralexia's room. He found room 508 and knocked on it. Shuffling was being made as the sound of, punk music was muffled playing in the room. The door then opened to Ashido with a face mask on and nothing but a sweater and pajama pants on. She looked in front and seemed a bit stunned by Midoriya being there.
"Oh Hi Midoriya, why are you here?" Ashido asked with Midoriya clearing his throat.
"Oh I'm here to see Kiralexia, is he in the room?" Midoriya asked.
"Sure is, come on in buddy." Ashido said stepping out of the way for Midoriya to come in.
one Midoriya came in he saw Kiralexia sitting on the foot of one of the beds and watching TV while getting a manicure and having a face mask on him. He seemed really relaxed and it was a bit weird seeing him not only have hair, but trying to curl it as well. Behind Kiralexia was Jirou who was helping with the hair horn combination and added a few piercing bits to his horns, with his permission. He looked over to see Midoriya here and smiled a bit waving at him.
"Oh hello Midoriya. Why are you here all of a sudden?" Kiralexia asked looking back at Jirou then to Ashido again before giving a wuick response. "Do I need to leave the room or something?" he asked with Midoriya becoming VERY red faced.
"NO NO NO! No, ahem this isn't THAT it's about you and the Dr. Kalvo here." Midoriya said with Kiralexia's eyes dilating a bit and looking around a bit worried. Midoriya sat on the floor next to Kiralexia and Kiralexia sighed before giving his response.
"Why do you want to know that?"
"Well, I met up with Melissa earlier and she mentioned something about how you reacted to Dr. Kalvo. Not to mention you yourself have mentioned him at least once to me so I must ask. Who is this man to you?"
"A bastard that's what. I couldn't care about that man anymore."
"Seriously, I mean you completely froze up when you saw him."
"Because I thought he was dead by my hands. Yet now I see him alive, it doesn't make sense me."
"Well I think to make matters worse and stranger, I heard him speak of a 'program' being revived thanks to you on stage. What is this program?" Midoriya asked with Kiralexia's eyes dilating when he heard that.
"That, is the program where I was born, that is if he is speaking of that one."
"Really, why would they do that?"
"I don't know, all I really know is that after I fled the island I made sure they would never torture another being again, and destroyed it all."
"Certainly there has to be something still there right?"
"Maybe, I was reckless back then and didn't check thoroughly. However I'd rather never return to THAT place."
"Well come on, we all need to learn of the secrets there, and besides, didn't the Militia come here before?"
"It has why is that important all of a sudden."
"Well, they'd have information on them wouldn't they? Surely you'd want to know right?"
"Not enough to return to hell."
"But-"
"LISTEN here Midoriya, if you want to uncover the secrets of my old home be my guest, it'd entertaining anyways. However I will not go, I shall not be abused and see the horrors of my old home again. Do I make myself clear Midoriya." Kiralexia said with his eyes showing hatred.
Midoriya was taken aback actually. Kiralexia was hunting down old Militia bases for information, and yet this he refused to even be apart of. Ashido was now next to Kiralexia and hugged him as Kiralexia was breathing a bit more sporadically. Midoriya understood the situation and decided that this was not worth his time.
"Fine then, if you want to be like that so be it. I'm going to find that information however and when I do, I'm going have the whole school know what I-Islands done to you."
"You do that prodigy, now then if you excuse me I have a movie to watch, and a manicure to deal with." Kiralexia retorted looking at his hand as he did so.
Midoriya stood up and walked out of the room as Kiralexia watched the TV and seemed to ignore Midoriya now. So much for his help in this endeavor. It didn't matter though, he would find out what they did to him, and better yet, what was even the goal that Dr. Kalvo had? He would find out and fast.
Cut to a little time after the incident he had with Kiralexia and he was now in a section of I-Island, he remembered hearing about it's destruction a few years back. With that information he pieced it together, this was the place that the Militia striked at on that day. It was still under construction but the underground part seemed to be mostly complete. He sighed, having his hoodie on and covering who he was and jumped down. He walked around and saw how the place was coming along. Derelict and sterile, perfect place for a science lab. He opened a door and found the hallway to a more run down place. This must be it, and now no turning back now. He would walk down and notice that the next door was locked, shit. He was going to punch it but tossed a piece of rubble at the door and noticed it sparked off of the door. Double shit, electric barrier, now how was he suppose to get in. he looked around and walked back out to the entry way to find something to use on the door. Was he searched he heard the dropping of feat on concrete.
He ducked behind a desk and saw a shadowy figure looking around and sighing. A muttered something to himself and walked towards the door before stopping in his tracks. H looked up at it and realized, it shouldn't be open. He looked around and saw the hair of Midoriya's head and tilted his head to it. A sigh came from him as the footsteps came closer to Midoriya and he was picked up by the figure who stared at him with hardened eyes.
"Start talking kid, why are you here?" the figure said with a deep smooth voice
"Um, I'm here to learn of the secrets of this island?" Midoriya answered with the figure simply raising an eyebrow.
He sighed and dropped Midoriya to the floor. He looked to the door and cracked his neck. He looked back at Midoriya sternly. Midoriya picked himself up and cleared his throat while the figure shook his head.
"You're after more then that I can tell. However I do not care at the moment, I simply need to get what my contract needs me to get and I'll be off this miserable island."
"I can help, we need each other won't we?" Midoriya asked with the figure looking over to him and thinking for a moment.
"Perhaps I do, you take what you need and I'll take mine. After that we will part ways and never speak of this again. Got it?" The figure asked himself with Midoriya nodding in agreement.
The figure the turned around and moved into the hallway with Midoriya behind him. They stood in front of the door and the figure pulled out, something. He went to the panel next to the door and jammed the thing into it. It made some strange noises before the noise of the door clicking open was heard and the figure opened the door moving inside. He looked to Midoriya and jerked his head in a move forward motion. As they did it suddenly hit where they were, an old abandoned looking lab.
Yet no beakers nor burners, instead mechanical machines and parts lined the pathways between workbenches. Many had cobwebs on them, many more where rusted or just broken. Robot parts where on a lot of the benches, arms, legs, two even had nearly complete robots, human looking at that. Both of them where chipped and broken up a bit, but overall looked healthier then anything else in this place. The figure was moving forward as Midoriya stood and stared before moving onwards next to the figure. It suddenly accord to Midoriya that the figure never clarified anything to him. Why was he here, who hired him or even what was he even after? Midoriya knew he wouldn't answer correctly but figured why not.
"Hey so, I know this is dumb to ask but why are you here exactly?" Midoriya asked with the figure turning to face him before responding.
"You're right, it is dumb." He said before moving forward and stopping next to a workbench.
"But I mean could you answer me why?"
"Nope."
"Well why not?"
"Cause."
"Come on if we are to work together I need to know these things."
"Not really, you only need to know is that my employer really needs this thing to aid in there little, projects."
"What projects."
"Special ones needing the item I need."
"But why?" Midoriya kept asking with the figure clearly getting more annoyed.
"Man do you ever shut up?"
"Hey I need to know this stuff. I'm tired of having things being kept from me and-"
"Shh." the figure shushed Midoriya looking ahead on the path.
"Hey I-"
"I said, shh." the figure shushed again looking directly at Midoriya as he did so.
The two then looked forward and suddenly, noise was coming ahead. Loud metallic clanking before a glowing cone was seen. Midoriya became VERY worried about this, while the figure was silent and lowered themselves. The clanking grew louder and Midoriya became much more nervous and asked in a hushed voice.
"What is that?"
"Sentry. I thought most where replaced years ago, and the rest shut down and put in storage."
"What will happen when it finds us?"
"You'll find out." The figure said before having there form disappear in the dark.
Midoriya freaked a bit as the Sentry moved around the corner and a human looking robot was seen. It wasn't what he expected, as it looked like a helmet was over his eyes making one iris, and a broken arm sparking. it's head moved around to look sporadically as Midoriya hid behind one of the workbenches. As the sentry moved passed Midoriya it turned slightly as if it where about to look back at him. Then something appeared behind them and broke a wire that was out of the head causing the sentry to begin to scream and then shut down. The light then went out and lifeless, as it turned out to be the figure from before now looking down at Midoriya looking a bit impressed.
"Not bad, but please tell me, how are you a hero if you hide from danger?"
"Well this isn't exactly legal and if I'm caught, things won't end well for me."
"I see, oh well. Such things cannot be changed, now come we have more to unearth young one." The figure said before moving forward deeper into the facility.
Midoriya would follow and thus the two would pursue deep into the abandoned facility. With each hallway passed, and each room entered it became clearer just how long this place was left abandoned. Moss and foliage had been overgrown in some areas, entire sections of wall ceiling and floor were torn down and broken, above it all, some of those sentries were, strange. Midoriya and the figure passed many without much to worry about but some seemed, off. Many looked older and broken down, with wires sticking out and metal plates missing. Some where standing around idly with no movement at all, and a few looked like they were in trauma. Hell the strangest thing was one straight up caught them by looking directly at them and, did nothing, it just stared and walked off into a separate room. That made Midoriya concerned and confused while the figure seemed to look, disheartened at that. They moved on regardless and soon made it into a big warehouse, that was absolutely fucked up.
There was cobwebs everywhere in corners and on computer monitors, wire meshes fallen and hanging from the ceiling low to the floor. Puddles of water and, something oil like was all over below a small set of stairs to a lower level. The lower level itself looked slightly flooded actually with the puddles being around the stairs above. The lower level was flat and had a few chains and overall looked nearly empty say for a few boxes, meanwhile the floor above was much more cluttered with desks computers and parts for more robots. This was strange to say the least, it was odd to find this here, even odder was the fact that on the right hand side was a door clearly being blockaded by a bunch of desks thrown against it. The figure was busy looking at some desks and finding a few files, yet Midoriya wanted to know what was behind the door. Upon a closer look, it looked as if the door and frame/wall around it, had been through hell. Claw marks, puncture and bullet holes, yet the oddest thing was on the other side was free of debris. This was barricaded on purpose to keep something from escaping but what? Midoriya, ever curious, lifted the desks and moved them out of the way. He want to the door handle only that there was none, it was on the floor a few feet away from the door, something had blasted it off. Now it was becoming weirder on the barricade he just moved. He pushed the door and it opened with loud creaking following suite.
He entered the room only for it to be near pitch black, the only light was crimson red from low emitting warning lights. They looked nearly dead thus the light was far weaker now then what it would've been before. The room was utter chaos, with markings everywhere and chunks of wall missing. The scariest or at least most unsettling to Midoriya was a message on the wall in front of him.
Listen Not to there lies!
This was what it said, it wasn't the message itself that unnerved Midoriya but what it was made out of. It looked streaky and almost as if it was blood only in black. This, this must've been a room they forced machines into, yet the message, the way it was worded. Was this Kiralexia's room? No it couldn't be, he would've left years before right? A sudden flash of light then appeared behind Midoriya and he turned around to see the figure with a small camera out before quickly pocketing it. He walked past Midoriya and entered the room looking at the message. A small scoff then came from his mouth as he looked behind himself.
"It seems that your little science island has dark secrets as well."
"Well after the incident with Dave I had my suspicions but, who wrote this?" Midoriya asked with the figure turning and placing a hand onto the message.
"Hm, either a human experiment, or a machine one. Yet considering what we've seen so far, I'd say it was machine." The figure answered with his eyes giving off, remorse.
The idea that this was most likely Kiralexia's room disgusted Midoriya. They had treated him like a monster and thus he would do this. However now something else caught his eye in the room, a tiny glint on the floor of the room. He looked at it and picked it up, and it was glass bits around a file. The figure saw and snatched it away and then opened it. Midoriya looked over the figures shoulder and saw the face of what looked like Kiralexia. All over the file had 'Classified' written in red and looking at the papers, it made sense. The document had said many things about his abilities and appearance. Yet the quirk name got Midoriya's attention.
'Copy For One'
He was LITERALLY a copycat of All For One. The figure seemed displeased and flipped over to see, diary entries or logs of research with him. All had said the near same thing, building up the impressive strength and capabilities of Kiralexia, remarking his learning skills, yet best of it all was a retort at the end of log #4. 'Give him a few more months and he'll make All For One screaming fowl. Maybe we can be secret rulers afterall after he's done.'. what did that mean? Secret rulers, were they going to-. No that's insane, no way I-Island was going to take over a country with Kiralexia. Unless. that's insane though, thought Midoriya. Yet the final page made Midoriya wince.
Instead of building up Kiralexia, it was reprimanding him, calling him a failure. It said it was to soon, that they made mistakes, that Dr. Kalvo was right to not put trust into him. It then ended with a statement that said the program was now deemed to costly and a failure, and a man hunt to be made on the escaped experiment. This was made slightly over 50 years ago, at least with when the document said Kiralexia was made. The final post seemed to have been about 5 to 8 years after he was made, meaning he was still a child basically at that time. The figure closed the folder with an audible slap of papers and moved out of the room looking very much upset. Midoriya could understand, such treatment on someone like that is, disgusting.
However one question would still scratch at his head, who was the reference for Kiralexia? The document mentioned someone was a reference for him but it was scratched and illegible. Surely it shouldn't be to hard to find out who it was. Of course the only way forward is through the water which the figure just acrobats his way around it and flips a switch that was on the other side. That then opens a hatch on the floor and all the water drains out leaving pools of it left. He then landed onto the floor and showed Midoriya a door on the left side of the lower floor. The two moved over and found, an office area, or what was left of one.
It was in shambles, with what was left of any office spaces, just a wreck. This area looked like it got hit the worst by whatever was escaping, though let's be honest here, we all know who it was. As they moved through the remnants of the office space, they realized that a few computers where completely destroyed. Clearly whatever was escaping this place wanted all records and research on him destroyed, for what reason is unclear. Perhaps they didn't want another to be tortured, or just wanted a bit of vengeance it is unclear at this time. Yet a few were still functional and even where still on, impressive batteries on those mother fuckers. Midoriya would look at a few and note that some just seemed like random tabs that the scientists opened for… reasons. One was just straight up a paused porn video of, some interesting fetish. Midoriya would quickly look at a different monitor after seeing THAT, and see a real estate site. Huh, well this wasn't important anyways as he would move into more single office rooms and find a few more broken computers but at least two important running computers. The figure was most interested with the computer in Dr. Kalvo's office, as he moved in he clicked around and found what he seemed to have been looking for.
It was files upon files of data, Kiralexia, the project he was from, even other things such as the Eternals and the Firstborn and someone from Japan. It simply said they were an Eternal and the 'Shogun to the Emperor' this made Midoriya, who decided to look at it as well, raise an eyebrow. Japan didn't have a Shogun for well over 500 or so years, unless. Midoriya did remember a little bit of history on the second Empire attempt but only vaguely. Though the data on the program/project Kiralexia came from name was nice "Project Ultima." the description described it as a program to make the best quirk, and machine into one. It numbered off several different attempts, with 1-5 all being deemed killed in suicidal explosion, with all others being either killed by All For One or MIA. Kiralexia being the last and then just ending after describing what seemed to have been one more attempt. The Figure seemed to ignore that and went to The Shogun as he was called on the file. A picture showed a Samurai helmet and a menacing figure underneath. Midoriya felt uncomfortable just looking at the picture, whoever they were, seemed dangerous just to be around.
"Hey I have to ask. Why did you come here anyways?"
"Well, I suppose I can humor you now. Like I said, I'm on a job to gather data from this site, THIS is the data I am looking for."
"Then who was this Shogun?"
"The Eternal Shogun. A gift from a king in America back I'd say a little over 2 centuries ago to help them with expanding a new Empire." The Figure said with Midoriya realizing just what he was meaning.
"The Crisis Century?"
"You know more history then I thought. Yes, THAT Century, this King needed allies and he was a bit of a dreamer of reviving old Monarchy systems with a Democratic freedom. Thus he made two, Japan was one of them, with Emperor Naruhito being skeptical of this man. But after some talks, okay a lot of talks a sake, he would accept the gift and start a slow rise into power. Korea would be tributary, while other islands where annexed outright, or had ports for trade like Taiwan. Yet sadly, or thankfully depending on your views, this Shogun and these new Samurai would die out when the king died, simply because people did not trust the Japanese wouldn't repeat history."
"Repeat history."
"You ever learned about the Rape of Nanking?" The Figure asked with Midoriya looking slightly ashamed and the figure smirking. "The expression says yes, good thing Japan actually decided to teach it's darker side. Well, it was more then that, the Eternals weren't exactly, loved. Such a shame to, The Eternal Shogun could've stopped All For One before he gained power but sadly the world doesn't work like that." The figure said as a beep was made from the computer.
Midoriya then realized that the figure had a flash drive in the computer and downloaded all the data into it. However now a new question came up, why? Why was The Eternal Shogun in the files, and another figure, The Firstborn, why both of them? The file also mention something about Daimyo's, for what reason? He only knew a small amount of information on the Second Japanese Empire and a few excerpts from an autobiography from this King of America. He needed to ask in order to figure out why Kiralexia was the way he was, or even the ones before him, his brothers and sisters.
"Well I don't get it. Why is He and this Firstborn even on the files with K-" Midoriya stopped himself as the figure stopped in his tracks as he spoke. The figure turned his head slightly with a purple hew around his left eye as he looked back at Midoriya.
"What were you about to say, Deku?"
"Nothing, it was simply a slip of the tongue."
"Sure, however I think I know who. A man who has been dead for over 6 years now. A man from this very file."
"Kiralexia." A voice from further out of the office area said, deep yet sinister.
Midoriya and the figure turned to see who spoke up and found, Dr. Kalvo. Beside him were two sentries, both with guns drawn out from there arms. Dr. Kalvo himself had a wicked smile on his face and his cybernetic eye glowed pure crimson at the two. Quickly he began to slowly clap as the two prepared for a fight.
"Honestly, bravo for never noticing the cameras that still worked." Dr. Kalvo said with a smug grin on his face.
The two then looked up and sure enough there were cameras, some of which still moved. How the hell did they not notice them before? The figure then just gave a look of sass that screamed, really, to Midoriya and Dr. Kalvo. Dr. Kalvo then chuckled a slight bit before speaking again.
"Congratulations though, you've found our great secrets of our project, or at least, the surface of it."
"What?"
"Oh you don't know? Well, the program was made to have the ultimate weapon against villains of all types, including All For One, however it grew to be much more. We wanted an army, so that we at the helm of the program can rule countries without even being seen."
"To be a secret government order huh? So cliché nowadays isn't it?" The figure said with Dr. Kalvo scoffing and his red eye now focused on him.
"Oh you're a piece of shit ya know that? Well when Kiralexia as he called himself, fled I-island all that research and progress went down the drain and the program was shut down. Yet we tried again only smaller, with one quirk robots instead and led by multi quirk ones. However THAT was also destroyed and now I live a life of shame because of my own creation."
"That's just priceless, you a life of shame? Last I heard you were given a reward for making something for heroes. Or was that some time ago?"
"Okay, I've had enough of this. you've got any last words just go on and say it." Dr. Kalvo said pulling up a pistol from his side. The figure eyes then began glowing purple and Midoriya was beginning to shimmer as well.
"Just a few. You can't hit what cannot be seen." after that the figure just vanished in a cloud of smoke that went through the floor. Dr. Kalvo looked around before looking at Midoriya and giving a grin.
"Doesn't matter with him, he won't get off this island alive, as for you. you're coming with me kid, I've heard a lot about you. That quirk of yours, is it the succession one?" Dr. Kalvo asked with Midoriya looking completely horrified at the statement.
"Su- what?"
"Oh so that's not it's name huh? Heh, of course not why would it be? That is just the name we gave to the quirk that clearly isn't normal. It gets stronger after each wielder right? You got that one from who, Nana, Midnight, All Might? Well it doesn't matter now, if I have your blood and hair strands, I can convince the board to start a third program and soon I'll be the true ruler of your pathetic country." Dr. Kalvo said his eyes showing insanity in them
Midoriya then bolted out of the way as guns began to fire at him. How is it that people other then those close to All Might know of his quirk? Midoriya was then going to kick Dr. Kalvo but he noticed a shadowy fog appear from below Dr. Kalvo's feet. He looked down and saw glowing eyes and began to shoot at them. The form then went upwards and looked very menacing. It cocked it's head to one of the sentries and slammed a giant, warhammer, into it's head. The other began to fire but was tangled up by it's fingers, that outstretched and tangled up the whole thing. They then began to crush it and the lights on the sentry died. Dr. Kalvo then began to look more frightened as he shot more at the figure but all the bullets just didn't phase it. He breathed heavily and ran away looking terrified. The figure then began to become more solid as the grabbed the warhammer and cracked there neck.
Midoriya was stunned, this was the same figure that disappeared into a puff of smoke. Okay that actually made sense, since he saw them phase through objects, however now he began to piece things together. Could he be… no, probably just someone else instead, but still, it seemed very likely in all honesty. The figure then just looked at Midoriya and handed him the warhammer, it was heavier then he thought it was. He raised an eyebrow at the figure who just moved forward.
"Well it seems we have to stick together for a little bit longer, don't want your career to die here do we?"
"Uh no."
"Good, then follow me, we need to get out before more sentries come." The figure said turning away and drawing out an axe out of nowhere.
'Where was he pulling these from?' Midoriya thought to himself. Now it was clear who he was but he decided to keep quite on it, just in case he was wrong. Soon they would begin going through several sentries and hallways to get out of the abandoned facility. It seemed wherever they went, Dr. Kalvo knew what to throw at them. At one point it was becoming clear just what these sentries are. After one stopped itself from punching Midoriya, it began to freak out and pulled off the helmet and wires around its head and went out cold. This machine, it looked like, an Eternal. These weren't built machines, these were reprogrammed Eternals, brainwashed even. That was just downright, inhumane. Even if they weren't alive in the natural way, they were still living breathing beings. Well perhaps not in Midoriya's eyes before this, but now, he truly knows that a machine no matter what is still a breathing being.
Soon they were about to make it to the exit when Dr. Kalvo showed up again and this time looked pissed off. He was now with a much larger entourage of sentry bots and even seemed to be planning something in his head. He was breathing a bit more heavily, and his hair looked a lot messier now. What the hell was he doing to get him to be like this? The figure then drew his axe towards his chest and his eyes narrowed as he looked at Dr. Kalvo.
"Okay now I've had enough of this, you've had your fun, made an adventure, now it's time to be reprimanded. Midoriya shall live but YOU, you're going to burn for this."
"Hm, Ya might want to think twice before saying that." The figure said pulling up a trigger with a red button on it.
Dr. Kalvo tilted his head slightly before quickly realizing what had happened. For as the figure and Midoriya were moving around before, the figure was setting up bombs around the ceilings. Dr. Kalvo looked up and sure enough there were C-4's there. The figure clicked the detonator and the C-4's above Dr. Kalvo went off, leaving Dr. Kalvo and the sentry bots buried in rubble. The figure sighed as he walked over the rubble and noticed Dr. Kalvo was still alive, but unconscious. He scoffed and turned around to Midoriya, with the appearance of a big grin on his face.
"Well let's get going kid, he's not staying down forever." the figure said moving over the mound with Midoriya right behind him.
Once they made it safely to be beginning spot again the figure sighed a sigh of relief and looked up at the moon with peace in there eyes. Midoriya looked up as well, for the moon was rather nice out tonight. Midoriya then noticed the figure was leaving and decided that now that they were out, he'd go ahead and ask.
"Hey do you know Kiralexia?"
"Well the history books gave me enough to know him."
"No I meant personally?"
"Classified kid, but I shall say this. The Kiralexia I knew is dead, and he's not returning."
"He is though. he's here right now."
"THAT, is a corpse puppet of the man I knew."
"Well, surely not. Why don't you go and see him, afterall aren't you his-" before Midoriya could finish a puff of smoke went into his face and he began to cough. Soon his eyesight was fading and he could see a vial in the figures hand.
"I wish you didn't say that kid. When you wake up all of this will seem like a wild dream. I'll make sure you're somewhere safe and hey, maybe even give you something to keep your mouth shut." the figure said sounding distant to Midoriya.
Soon after Midoriya would black out and then wake up in the middle of some alleyway. When he did come to, the alleyway was away from prying eyes, and was also close to the hotel he was staying at. He looked over at it before feeling a heavy sensation on his head. He put his hand on his head and looked down at the floor. He then noticed something in front of him, a flash drive, some money, and a note. He picked it up and read the note.

The Shadows huh, wonder why they left so quickly? Midoriya thought to himself and finally began to stand up. He walked out of the alleyway and went to the hotel room. He wasn't aware of the figure watching from a dark spot high above. The figure seemed to smile a bit before noticing Kiralexia and began to move away. As for Dr. Kalvo, well a figure found them in the rubble and pulled them out. They were bloodied, and there cybernetic arm was totaled, however he was able to come back to life and found the figure overhead him. This one looked different, they were taller, and looked far more muscular, he couldn't even see his eyes. Later that night, Dr. Kalvo disappeared off the island, and no traces of either figures could be found.
After another day or so on the island, everyone left feeling a bit better. Kiralexia was able to meet Dave once more and felt very happy seeing him again, and heard that his human mother was still alive. Yet she left the island many years ago, and now no one knows where she is, however he didn't care, he was just glad to know she was okay. Hatsume was given a reward for her works on the machines and began to feel super proud of the reward given to her. As for the incident with Midoriya well, Kiralexia reprimanded Midoriya before seeing the flash drive and note and looking surprised. He noticed the handwriting and smiled up to the sky before telling Midoriya to be more careful next time. Now they were leaving and Kiralexia was now ready for the last piece. He was going back to the Militia Headquarters and finally finishing the puzzle of where everyone went. For him, for Toga, for his brother, he will find the clue.
