BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Main Theme

Spider-Man: Watch out! Here comes the Spider-Man! Thought with Pit back and the Asgardians by our side, defeating Hades would be a breeze. Oh, I was wrong. We were beaten so bad he found us delicious to eat. Least he can savor the defeat of his Dark Avengers. Seriously, if we couldn't defeat Hades, what chance do we have against Loki powered up by the Nightmare Stone and Yggdrasil?

Issue 27: The Three Trials

New York City, Nexus Earth.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Creepy Space Tree

The Earth is in danger. Again. Loki's Nightmare power has descended on the planet to make it ripe for his inevitable conquest. The sunny sky turns into a nightmarish black as Yggdrasil's corrupted tree roots wrap around the whole world. New York civilians are already panicking as SHIELD is evacuating everyone to safe zones knowing the dimensional invasion will strike the city first.

"Evacuation is underway, sir. No disturbances so far." said a SHIELD Agent, reporting to Director Nick Fury in the same Tricarrier that they are both in and is hovering above the city.

"Keep a lookout. We don't know when or how Hades will invade." Fury ordered.

"Yes, sir." The SHIELD Agent complied.

Scarlet Spider minds his own business at a corner, as usual, until he notices a miserable Tiki walking into the command deck. "Tiki." He said, approaching his girlfriend with a concerned look.

"Scar-Scar, it was so terrible." Tiki frowned, hugging him tightly for urgent comfort to express her sadden state.

"What happened?" Kaine asked urgently.

"I was sleeping to gather my strength before the coming battle, but I had a nightmare. One that I have not experienced since childhood. But this one was terrifying beyond the others. It felt so real that I thought I would die if I did not awake." Tiki informed him of her deadly dream.

"That damn Nightmare Stone. Its influence is choking the whole world. Trying to kill us in our sleep. Demoralize us before the Underworld attacks." Kaine realized, before comforting his girl with an embracive hug, "Don't worry, Tiks. We'll face the nightmare together. This will all be over soon."

"Thank you." Tiki replied sincerely.

Impatiently, Fury scowls, "Where are those kids?", wondering what is taking the other heroes he contacted so long to arrive.

"Sorry we're late!"

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Ultimate Alliance Returns (Main Title)

Fury's little group turns to find six superheroes from other worlds walking into the room. Six that they immediately recognize as a team representing the multiverse's mightiest and youngest heroes. Ruby Rose, the Scarlet Huntress. Tails the Fox, High-Flying Genius. Blake Belladonna, the Faunus Black Cat. Knuckles the Echidna, Guardian of the Master Emerald. Yang Xiao Long, Hotheaded Heroine. And Amy Rose, the Hammer-swinging Heroine. "The Dimensional Avengers have assembled, Director Fury! What's the mission?" Ruby announced with smiling enthusiasm.

"And why am I certain it involves mowing the sky's new lawn?" Knuckles joked dryly.

"I'm sure by now you've heard of the ongoing situation at the Skyworld dimension." Fury told the new arrivals.

"The general stuff. About a war between gods and two new Exo Stones." Tails remarked.

"And Harry Osborn." Yang shoots a stern look at Kaine asking, "Is Peter okay?"

"He's fine. Apparently, they're friends again." Kaine assured his brother's dimensional friends.

"Loki and Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, are working together to conquer both universes to fulfill an ancient prophecy. They used the Nightmare Stone to corrupt Yggdrasil, the Asgardian Tree of Life that holds all of reality. Their combined power is responsible for what's happening to the planet. Preparing this dimension for invasion." Fury briefed his recruited heroes.

"Too used to that at this point." Amy snarked.

"What is Spider-Man and the others up to now?" Blake asked.

"They just had their butts whopped by Hades. They are currently devising a new counterattack against him and how to invade Asgard. Defeating the gods is their priority. Our mission will be to fend off their armies when they invade." Fury informed the team.

"You can count on us, sir. We will defend this world with our lives. We won't let you or our friends down!" Ruby vowed, determined to lead her party of Avengers to victory when the invasion happens.

A proud Fury smiles, "Happy to hear that. Now get prepped. Almost time to show the gods what we mortals are made of when they make us desperate!"

Spider-Man's Laboratory, Skyworld. World of Kid Icarus.

"Peeeete, are you done yet? C'moooon, hurry up! Our enemies have almost conquered the Nine Realms! If we don't do something soon, everyone is doomed!" Pit whined like an annoying little brother, which is getting on Spider-Man's eye-twitching nerves as he is hard at work repairing both the Three Sacred Treasures and the Iron Spider Armor after they were obliterated by Hades in the last battle.

"Don't you think I know that!? Stop stressing me out! It isn't easy repairing the most advanced weaponry of two universes by yourself!" Spidey retorted, with Mary Jane hanging out with the boys in the lab.

"Why can't you call that Iron Man guy to come help us?!" Pit suggested.

"The other Avengers are busy with their own world-ending problems! We're on our own for this one!" Spidey responded.

Pit exasperates with frustration, "This suck!", before collapsing onto his chair.

"Relax, Pit. We've survived our fair share of dimensional disasters. We'll get through this." The smiling MJ assured the angel.

BGM-Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4) OST-The Breakthrough

Just then, Palutena walks into the lab, with another person by her side that will no doubt surprise the trio with their divine appearance, "Looks like you could use a hand."

Spider-Man was the first to look with bewilderment at the man resembling the Fighters of Skyworld's Light vs. Dark games. This familiar hero wears a shining gold and white armor that is reinforced on the arms, torsos, and legs, as well as wearing a golden helmet with a mouthpiece and a wing-shaped visor that is definitely reminding Spidey of, "Harry? What the HECK are you wearing?"

"Like it?" asked by Harry Osborn in his new Gold Goblin attire.

"Yeah. But, how? Did you make it?" Peter responded.

"Oh no no no no." Harry replied awkwardly, whilst magically retracting his helmet, "It's a, uh, new god look courtesy of the Norn Stone of Light. Y'know, since I lost my evil god powers."

"Didn't know that was a thing." Peter remarked, having never heard of that Super Norn Stone.

"Sonic's not planning on using his Norn Stone in the next fight, so he gave me his, and Palutena was kind enough to upgrade it for me." Harry explained.

"It's my apology for doubting you would ever return from the darkness." Palutena admitted with an adorable smile.

"I like it. Gold Goblin for the win!" Pit approved ecstatically.

"Still a little weird seeing a Goblin as a hero. Glad that hero is you, Harry." MJ smiled, giving her compliments to his god upgrade.

"Thanks. Wish my counterpart was the same." Harry then gloomily asks, "It's true, isn't it? Your Norman killed his Harry?"

MJ doesn't answer. That is a memory she does not want to reminisce. Leaving it up to a somber Peter to answer in her place, "Yes. My Osborns tried to kill me. Harry realized what he was doing was wrong and sacrificed himself by taking a beating from his own father. I owe my life to Harry. Even Norman regretted what he did. Even as a monster, he still loved you."

"I see." Harry responded solemnly, taking a little moment to process this truth. "Well…" He then smiles, "Let's make sure history doesn't repeat itself. I'll have your back against Loki all the way!"

"Right back atcha! There ain't no god that can beat Team Midtown Losers!" Spidey quipped, which got laughs from his high school friends.

"We might win if we have the Three Sacred Treasures." Pit snarked.

"I'm WORKING on it!" Spidey retorted with annoyance.

"It wouldn't make a difference. Neither the Treasures nor The Other stood a chance against Hades. Not to mention there is Loki to worry about, whose new power exceeds the gods of both universes. Even if Thor arrives, we would still be greatly outmatched." Palutena talked about their current predicament.

"We can't just use the Dream Stone to wish ourselves an easy victory?" MJ questioned that strategy.

"It won't work. Only an Exo Stone can counter an Exo Stone. And the Dream and Nightmare Stones share similar abilities that can cancel each other. But now Nightmare is backed up by Yggdrasil. The Dream Stone alone will not be enough." Peter rejected her idea, "What we need to do is either find a way to break Loki's connection with the tree or find another limitless power source to support our Stone."

"A power to rival the Odinforce? Hmm…" Palutena pondered.

"We can't just use the other Exo Stones you guys found?" Pit suggested.

"That's what Loki wants." Harry denied his idea, "'Sides, our universes can barely handle two. Add another and kaboom everything."

"Why not build god-slaying/Stone-breaking weapons? Like, anti-god arrows or something?" MJ suggested.

"Is that even possible? I dunno if I'm crazy enough to do that." Peter expressed.

"Actually…" Palutena speaks up with a sly smirk that shines hope on her mortal friends, "I think I know a god that is that crazy."

Later…

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-The Three Trials

"Can't wait to meet the god of snacks!" smiled Pit, flying through the sky alongside Spider-Man piloting the Aven-Jet toward their latest destination.

'I told you, Dyntos is the god of the FORGE.' Palutena telepathically clarified to the duo that their newest mission involves seeking the forge god, 'He made the Three Sacred Treasures. He creates ALL weapons in this dimension, even that sad little one you're using now.'

"Mean the one that has your name on it?" Spidey snarked about the Palutena Blade that Pit is wielding at the moment.

'Your talent to point out the obvious is astonishing, Spider-Man.' Palutena sassed back with dry sarcasm.

"Thank you."

'Thanks to Hades, the Iron Spider and Three Sacred Treasures are out of commission. But I'm hoping Dyntos will create new weapons for the both of you.' Palutena said.

"Just us and not the others? Doesn't seem fair." Spidey remarked, noting that it's just him and Pit on this mission.

'They simply lack the strength to wield them. Their bodies would crumble as their minds collapsed into madness.' Palutena claimed.

"Is it weird that I want to experience that?" Pit commented.

'A little bit, yeah.' Palutena agreed, 'But I should warn you-.'

"Good thing he's on our side!" Spidey believed.

'Well…not yet.' Palutena implied that the god must be persuaded first.

Immediately after, the trio notice an odd mix of enemies swarming the skies that are consisted of Forces of Nature, Aurum, and Underworld Army troops. "Okay…" Spidey commented, using his ship's lasers to blast through the swarm and his confusion, "So we've got Underworld troops and the Forces of Nature here…"

'Yes.' Palutena responded.

"This is weird."

'Very.'

"There are even some Aurum troops in the mix." Pit noticed upon blasting aliens with his Palutena Blade, "What exactly is going on here?"

As a mysterious sphere-shaped structure comes into view, an unfamiliar elderly voice begins to speak to them telepathically, 'Whahahahoho! Why, hello there, Palutena. And hello to your little helpers as well!'

"Hey, Dyntos!" Pit casually realized they are being contacted by the God and Keeper of the Forge.

'That's LORD Dyntos to you, sonny!' Dyntos retorted, demanding respect from those who are below him.

"Is it okay if I call you God Gramps?" Spidey asked kindly.

'Respect your elders! Kids these days…' Dyntos demanded even more respect from the mortal quipster.

'I apologize for their impertinence, sir. Ahem. So do you know why we're here?' Palutena politely asked him.

'Of course! You want to slay Hades and Loki to protect the celestial balance.' Dyntos answered.

'That's exactly right.' Palutena smiled.

'Oh, to be young, energetic...and have a head stuffed with wool!' Dyntos chuckles, 'I jest, I jest. I like the cut of your jib! If you can make it all the way to me AND pass my three trials, I'll lend you a hand.' Dyntos stated.

Spidey and Pit begin approaching the mysterious sphere, with Palutena announcing it as, 'Up ahead is Dyntos's workshop.'

"Oooh! Fancy!" Pit commented.

"So God Gramps is like the Dwarves that created Thor's Hammer, right?" Spidey questioned.

'Exactly right!' Dyntos responded, respectfully admitting, 'Gotta hand it to those Dwarves. They knew how to craft the most powerful, horrific weapons to ever torment the universe. Mjolnir was no exception. Forged in the heart of a dying star, its power has no equal in any realm. Cannot wait to surpass it, let me tell you!' He proclaimed, vowing to create a weapon that surpasses Mjolnir.

Once sent into the workshop through the front entrance, the heroes encounter and fight through many more hordes of randomly selected enemies. "From the outside, you wouldn't think a hall this big could fit inside." Pit commented, firing multiple blasts through enemies.

"It IS a bit incongruous." Spidey agreed with him.

"How did these enemies get in here?" Pit wondered.

'I made them.' Dyntos takes responsibility for their presence, 'They might be forgeries, but they're superior to the originals. And they're just the tip of the iceberg! If you don't have the gumption to handle them, you've got no shot at Hades, let alone Loki.'

"So if we pass this test, you'll make new weapons for us? Ones as powerful as Mjolnir?" Spidey asked politely.

'Yessiree. That's a promise.' Dyntos promised, which excites the webslinger to the core.

"You know, the Three Sacred Treasures weren't exactly durable. Can you please make sure that this new weapon won't just fall apart?" Pit rudely requested.

'Palutena, you'd be wise to put a muzzle on your chicken.' Dyntos exclaimed at her.

'I apologize for him. Again.' Palutena apologized sheepishly.

"I...I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to be rude." Pit apologized sincerely.

'That's all right. Now I don't feel bad about what's gonna happen to you.' Dyntos quipped.

If they want to prove themselves worthy to Dyntos, Pit and Spidey need to showoff their crossover teamwork on his forgeries. Pit attacks with everything from the get-go, unleashing a powerful lightning storm with his Blade that obliterates most enemies except the Aurum that blasts him back. Spidey then catches his pal with his Aven-Jet, combining his Blade blasts with his Repulsor Cannons to really plow through the so-called superior copies.

Once the two arrives at the end of a hall, they find themselves in an endless night sky and are about to be assaulted by large, animated versions of various weapons. "This doesn't look good." Pit noticed in a fright, dodging the energy waves fired by three First Blades.

"Watch out, kid!" Spidey exclaimed, quickly maneuvering through the strikes of two Tiger Claws.

Dyntos laughs at their expense, 'Now THIS is a hootenanny!'

"I'm glad one of us is having a good time!" Pit snarked, with both he and Peter just narrowly avoided being sliced by the Palutena bow.

After surviving that surprise, a large platform surrounded by tall, crystal-like pillars comes into their view. 'Welcome, whippersnapper! Come right this way.' Dyntos allowed them to land, in which they promptly do.

Dyntos's Workshop.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-At the Seafloor Palace

The stronghold and workshop of Dyntos. A variety of items are produced here, from weapons to vehicles, divined into red, green, and blue areas that can be reconfigured to meet a variety of needs. Pit and Spider-Man safely land in the interior of Dyntos's Workshop. As the Webhead walks out of the Aven-Jet, the Angel spots the Forge God floating casually atop a pillar. "Lord Dyntos!" Pit greeted him.

"If you want a new weapon, you must prove your mettle by passing three trials. First things first. Go ahead and stand in the center of the room." Dyntos announced.

As the heroes comply, the platform lifts them into an empty interior with many long staircases. "This looks like it'll take forever. What do we do?" Spider-Man asked.

'Head up those stairs. I'm sure Dyntos will explain your next step.' Palutena ordered.

'Your first trail consists of three challenges. You must overcome all three.' Dyntos telepathically instructed them.

Cockily confident, Spidey scoffs and punches his open palm, "Alright. Let's see whatcha got for us."

The duo heads up a staircase to arrive on a platform with an open door. "Let's see which one of us can beat the challenge first." Pit challenged his spider-friend.

"You're on, Lil' Wings." Spidey accepted his challenge by sharing a bro-fist before they head through the door.

Phoenix Mountain?

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Phoenix Mountain

The crossover duo found themselves at what looks to be Phoenix Mountain upon entering the first challenge door. They stand perplex, wondering how and why they returned to the arena they face the Immortal Phoenix. Those questions are immediately answered by the startling speech of the Phoenix that is flying in for revenge, much to the heroes' disbelief. "We have to defeat this guy again?" Pit expressed his frustrations.

Already the Phoenix attacks with a vengeance, firing fireballs that prompt the heroes to evade in humorous surprise that gets Dyntos laughing, 'It was just a tragic seeing the majestic immortal bird felled by such a little angel and mortals.'

"That majestic bird tried to kill us!" Spider-Man retorted, countering his flames with webbing.

'If it makes you feel any better, this Phoenix is one of Lord Dyntos's creations.' Palutena comforted them, revealing this Phoenix as a mere replica.

'That was supposed to be a surprise, you big party pooper!' Dyntos retorted.

'You've done a lovely job with it, Lord Dyntos.' Palutena complimented, also to calm him down.

'Well, thank you. I'm as puffed up as pastry over the results. It may be my finest work yet!' Dyntos said proudly.

"Yeah, it looks great." Pit remarked with clear dry sarcasm.

'I'm choosing to hear only your words and not your tone, sonny.' Dyntos snarked.

Though competing for the Phoenix's defeat, Spidey and Pit still work together against him. The immortal bird charges at the webslinger for a fiery tackle that is dodged then retaliated by a mighty Web Throw that slams him onto the ground, where Pit awaits to uppercut him clear into the sky with his Upperdash Arm. As the Phoenix focuses his flaming feathered shots down at the angel, the airborne Spider-Man surprises him with an X-Aura-powered merciless barrage of punches to its back that brings him back down, which ends with the big beast laying in a crater in absolute defeat.

BGM End

"Extinguished again! I win!" Spidey announced, standing atop the unconscious Phoenix with a victorious thumbs-up.

'Sorry you had to go through that a second time.' Palutena told the heroes before they are teleported away.

Back at Dyntos's Workshop…

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-At the Seafloor Palace

Spidey and Pit are teleported back to their previous location, where a new staircase forms. "Saving the world and beating angels, one mysterious door at a time!" Spidey continued boasting his victory over the first challenge, much to his friend's dismay.

"I won't lose in the next round!" Pit vowed.

'Proceed to the left.' Palutena instructed.

Proceed they do, continuing up the staircase where they encounter an Orne among other enemies. "Uh-oh!" Pit looks worriedly at the invincible monster.

'Remember, if an Orne lands even one hit on you, it's the end.' Palutena reminded the team.

'So don't freeze up like a lizard in roller skates.' Dyntos joked.

'Oh, they won't. Pit's style is more deer-in-the-headlights. Spidey just retreats to his bad jokes.' Palutena teased her friends as she loves to do.

"OK, OK, enough…" Pit retorted, sliding under the Orne before it's pinned down by Spidey's Holy Webbing.

Spider-Man swings onto a platform with four Treasure Boxes that trigger his Spider-Senses, only because they are Mimicuties that don't terrify him as much as they used to. He's wise to their tricks now, using his amazing reflexes to bounce off their rapid-kicking legs and hogtying them all with his webbing so Pit could destroy them with one charged cannon shot. "Yeah!" Pit cheered, before the heroes head through the door to meet their second challenge of the First Trail.

Reset Bomb Forest.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Reset Bomb Forest

In the second chamber, the dimensional duo suddenly finds themselves against Cragalanche the Mighty again. "Hey, it's Cragalanche!" Pit recognized the replica of the Nature Forces' commanding officer.

Cragalanche still prefers to speak with his actions as he throws giant rocks at his enemies. "Strong and silent as ever, I see." quipped Spidey, reflecting his rock with a Web Throw that pushes back the rock giant.

'Yep, and he's still got a busted keister.' Dyntos informed them of the commander's usual weakness.

"So each challenge we're fighting an enemy from the past. This first trial is nothing but a boss rush." Spidey realized.

'Got it! You're a smart lad.' Dyntos complimented the spider-genius.

"I have to hand it to you. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail is just amazing!" Pit complimented the forge god's replication skills.

'If you wanted to, you could build the strongest army the world has ever seen!' Palutena remarked.

'Not interested. Though creating enemies is terribly fun. I use your experiences as the blueprints.' Dyntos claimed, revealing how he created these forgeries.

"Wait…You can see into my brain?!" Pit commented with a stunned expression.

'Lord Dyntos is powerful beyond imagination, Pit.' Palutena stated.

"Does that mean he's even more powerful than Hades?" Pit theorized. Again, Cragalanche responds with nothing but shockwaves that the angel evades. "I hear you, Cragalanche. This is scary stuff." He joked.

"I don't care if he's more powerful than Bob the Builder. I've had enough dirty old men messing with my head for a lifetime. The last thing I need is another Spider-Island." Spidey quipped, reminiscing his misfortunate adventures involving The Jackal.

'I would never go that crazy. One Spider-Man is enough for the universe.' Dyntos snarked.

As Cragalanche hovers across toward Spidey, Pit slides under the monster to shoot at his backside weakpoint with the power that forces him down. Spidey runs at him, swiftly bouncing off his enlarged punch to Web Strike his weakspot and topple him into burrowing underground to surprise the Avenger. It didn't work, with the hero jumping over his resurfacing to Ultimate Web Throw him stuck upside down on the ground that gives Pit a clear view of his weakspot for his finishing bow blast to hit, defeating Cragalanche again.

BGM End

"Cragalanche crushed! I win the second round!" Pit announced, happily flourishing his blades to celebrate his victory in this ongoing friendly rival game with Peter.

'Good work there, sonnies.' Dyntos complimented them before extracting them from the battlegrounds.

Returning to Dyntos's Workshop…

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-At the Seafloor Palace

After Cragalanche's defeat, the heroic duo is transported to their previous location once again, where another new staircase forms. 'All righty. You two are one-to-one. Onto the next boss for the tiebreaker.' Palutena announced, getting into their shenanigans.

"You're not gonna win, Bird Boy." Spidey taunted, racing his friend up the stairs.

"If you say so, Bugman." Pit retorted with his own smirking taunt.

Suddenly, they were nearly knocked off the stairs when an Aurum Dohz zips by at astonishing superspeeds. "How is that huge Aurum enemy moving so fast?!" Pit wondered.

'I gave it a healthy dose of Dyntos magic! Can't have you getting bored, now can I?' Dyntos quipped.

Working together, Spidey narrowly catches the speedy big Aurum with his webbing so Pit could destroy it with a charged attack. They make it to the last challenge door, where Spidey remarks, "Last challenge. Who do you think it'll be?"

"Don't care as long as their name isn't Medusa, Grimadoom, Dark Phoenix, or Chaos Kin." Pit responded.

'So you're okay with Pyrrhon.' Dyntos quipped.

"OH GOD NO!" Both Spidey and Pit, as well as Palutena, exclaimed vividly before the last challenge is challenged.

Space Pirate Ship.

BGM-Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 OST-vs. The Abilisk

The third chamber has been entered by Pit and Spider-Man, where they both reencounter the multidimensional monstrosity that is, 'The Abilisk!', as stated by the shocked Palutena.

"We're back on the pirate ship?" Spidey remarked with just as much shock.

'A pretty faithful reproduction, wouldn't you say?' Dyntos snarked arrogantly.

"There's stuff here that I didn't notice before. This has to be another of God Gramps's creations, right?" Spidey wondered.

'It doesn't matter if it is or isn't. That Abilisk is real!' Palutena proclaimed.

'Why don't you get a little closer to him and verify that hypothesis, sonny? I'm sure the Abilisk would like nothing more than to turn you into chum salad.' Dyntos teased.

"That won't be happening. We beat an Abilisk once, and we can do it again!" Pit retorted, more than ready to redefeat the interdimensional beast.

Like before, the Abilisk has a cut on its neck. And like before, the heroes plan to take advantage of it to win the challenge. Spidey distracted it by swinging above it and firing web shots, causing the beast to look up and snap at him with its quantum blasts. Just as the beast catches him, Pit drew his bow blade and drove it into its injury, cutting the creature open and saving Peter.

BGM End

"That's right, you tentafool!" Pit mocked the defeated creature.

'Tentafool? Uh, nice one, Pit.' Palutena snarked.

The Abilisk collapsed, with it dying soon after from blood loss. "Two-to-one! I'm the champ!" Pit gloated, ultimately winning his rival game with Spider-Man.

"Not that you're bragging or anything, right?" Spidey snarked with cross-armed deadpan.

"Can we have our new weapons now?" Pit asked, assuming their trials are over.

'Not so fast. Do you remember the name of this issue?' snarked Dyntos, confusing an eyebrow-raising Spidey with his 4th wall breaking.

"Uh…Wasn't it 'The One Trial' or something?" Pit sassed.

'You're a couple of trials short there, sonny!' Dyntos corrected him as he teleports them to the next trial.

Dark Lord Gaol's Castle.

Pit and Spider-Man arrive inside the throne room of Dark Lord Gaol's Castle, where they encounter Magnus with the dark lord herself, as well as Gamora and Rocket Raccoon of the Guardians of the Galaxy. "Surprise." Gamora coldly greeted her fellow heroes.

"Hey there." Magnus greeted with a more casual tone, before all four of them ready themselves for a marvelous smashing brawl.

"Magnus and the Guardians of the Galaxy! With…Dark Lord Gaol?" Spidey retorted, utterly baffled as the battle begins.

BGM-Super Smash Bros. Brawl OST-Boss Battle Song 1

Magnus pairs up with Rocket against Pit, as Gamora combines powers with Gaol against Spider-Man. Both uncanny duos fighting at their best against the heroes that are still puzzled by their sudden presence. "Why are you all here? And why with Gaol?" Pit asked.

"What can I say? The old god asked us to fight you, so here we are." Magnus answered.

"Not everyday we get kidnapped by another universe." Rocket joked.

"Think you'll be able to take the four of us, Avengers?" Gaol questioned, no longer sporting a distorted voice as she now has complete control over her cursed armor.

"Don't really have a choice when you're trying so hard to kill us." Spidey quipped, avoiding her lasers just in the nick of time duck under Gamora's sword swings, "Not that I mind fighting you guys and gals, but shouldn't the Guardians be finding Thor?"

"We did. He's locked up in Chitauri Prime." Gamora revealed.

"The homeworld of the Chitauri?! How did that happen?!" The surprised Spidey retorted.

"Loki used his old connections with the empire to stage an ambush. Thor's been forced to fight in their gladiatorial games for days." Gamora clarified.

"Hasn't stopped him from enjoying himself." quipped Rocket, clashing his energy pistol with Pit's arrows.

'Typical Thor.' Palutena sighed deadpannedly.

"You space mercs have a plan to save the god?" Magnus asked the Guardians.

"Might endanger their planet, but we'll save him before the multiverse is destroyed and after I barbecue baby bird here. Guaranteed!" Rocket quipped, blasting Pit hard with his powerful energy cannon.

"Magnus, that's really you, right?!" Pit skeptically asked if he is a forgery like the others they faced.

"The one and only." Magnus replied, trading blade strikes with Pit's.

"I was sure you were another of Lord Dyntos's creations." Pit said.

'That would've been the most likely explanation.' Palutena remarked.

'It also would've been the most incorrect. I just invited these four here to help test you.' Dyntos countered their claims.

"You mean kidnapped, Grandpa!" Rocket snarked.

Pit then asks, "In that case, I have some questions for you, Magnus! Why were you so quick to join up with me when we first met? And how come you're stronger than any other human I've ever seen besides the Avengers? AND—?"

"What is this, twenty questions?" Magnus shoots down his plethora of annoying questions.

"Maybe."

"Well, I don't have any answers for you. I'm only here to TEST you." Magnus stated.

"Angel! Spider! It's the Mischief God and Lord of the Underworld you oppose, yes?" Gaol questioned them.

"Of course it is!" Pit retorted with no hesitation.

"Then concentrate on proving yourself, not what we're saying. Hold your questions for after you save the world." Gaol ordered.

The stern heroes comply by putting all their focus on their respective fierce battles. Daggers thrown by Gamora fail to land on the acrobatic Spider-Man, neither does her dashing sword strike that is countered by her being webbed. Gaol charges at the crimefighter, pinning him to a wall to be pummeled relentlessly until his Other-empowered body burst spines that repels her and leaves her vulnerable to be assaulted by an all-around blitzing combo of punches. The final punch nearly lands, but Gamora intercepts by kicking the New Yorker to the ground. Gaol almost blasted him to defeat, only for Spidey to bounce back up and land a tumbling drop kick that knocks out both women at once.

"Stay down, gals!" Spidey mocked their defeat.

Magnus's herculean strength is verily putting Pit through his paces as his twin blades struggle to deflect his massive sword. Not helped by Rocket throwing a grenade to his face. Not helped again by him hopping onto Magnus's back while the mercenary slashes the angel a few times before uppercutting him into the air. The only time their antics work in his favor is when Rocket fires a devastating plasma shot, in which Pit reflects with his Guardian Orbitars that separates the two. Pit is quick to knock out Rocket then clash with Magnus, managing to disarm him of his weapon before delivering the knockout blade smash.

"And that's the end of ALL of you!" Pit declared, with he and Spidey standing victorious over their defeated opponents.

"Not bad, angel face!" Magnus complimented their victory.

"Seems we're done here." Gamora stated, before her party is teleported away.

"Where are they going?" Spidey wondered.

A new challenger then enters the battlefield: The Goddess of Light, Palutena, much to the disbelief of her friends. "Lady Palutena?! What are you doing here?" Pit questioned her strange presence.

"Isn't it obvious, Pit? I'm here to finish you!" Palutena laughed, sounding and fighting violenter than usual, erupting a light beam that knocks the heroes into the air so her Explosive Flame could knock them back down.

The Goddess fires a piercing energy beam at Spider-Man, who dodges it whilst quipping, "Dim down the lights. Men don't find it sexy when god clones blast holes through their chest.", before closing the distance between them with a fierce Web Strike.

"I know you like making re-creations, but this is really in poor taste!" Pit told the forge god.

'Oh, don't get all huffy now. Besides, if that Palutena is a copy, then where's the real Palutena?' Dyntos assured him.

"Where she always is! Right, Lady Palutena?" Pit attempts to communicate with her, only to receive no response from the heavens, "Uh…Lady Palutena?"

"Time to die, Pit!" retorted by the Palutena before him, smacking away Spidey before raining energy blasts at the surprised angel.

"Oh, no…Don't tell me that IS the real Lady Palutena. Now what do I do? I don't really have to fight her, do I?" Pit wondered, hesitant to fight to his own goddess again.

"It won't be a fight. It'll be a massacre!" Palutena proclaimed, and would've blasted him to his doom if her staff wasn't web-yanked by Spider-Man.

"Or just another sparring match." Spidey snarked, delivering a brutal spinning staff strike that sends the goddess flying. "We're both her star pupils and know all her moves, so let's wrap this up." He encouraged Pit to fight, in which he does reluctantly.

An irritated Palutena recovered to warp her staff back into her possession in time to combat the paired-up heroes. She shields herself from a charged shot fired by Pit only for Spidey to surprise her with a flying spin kick, pummeling her with punches that she counters with a warping blast to his back. "Feel the shame!" The Skyworld Queen exclaimed, unleashing a wall-cleaving beam that only missed Pit by a whisker thanks to Peter's last-second interference.

"Ya missed!" Spidey webbed her, which threw off her concentration so he could legsweep her into being knocked back by a powerful shot from Pit's Palutena Blade.

All that damage messed up Palutena so bad that her face turns purple and grotesque, revealing herself to actually be Pseudo-Palutena, a twisted clone created by Dyntos as a joke. "You're finished!" Pseudo-Palutena declared, sounding as disgusting as her new look.

"What what WHAT?!" Pit exclaimed with rightful surprise at the imposter.

"Glad we decided to attack! She just stole Kaine's spot as the most twisted clone ever." Spidey quipped.

Enraged from her hideous form being revealed, Pseudo-Palutena fires a new barrage of pink energy shots that troubles her enemies, with only Spidey able to counter with a close-quarters combat. This tactic doesn't last forever as she delivers a surprise headbutt that knocks him far back across the arena, prompting him to retaliate with a charged web shot that she swiftly warps away from. Almost, she surprises him with a fearsome counterstrike to his behind, but the Amazing Avenger saw her staff coming a mile away as he ducks under it, in time for Pit to finish her off with a devastating Taurus Arm to her ugly face.

"You big fake!" Pit mocked upon defeating the imposter goddess.

"At least I'm beautiful!" Pseudo-Palutena retorted, before collapsing into defeat and the victors being teleported away to the final trial.

Dyntos's Workshop.

Upon the Dimensional duo arriving on a large platform, Dyntos commends them for their hard work, 'Good job there, sonnies!'

"There's just one trial left!" Pit noted.

'Yes, yes, I'm quite aware of that. Here it is. The God Weaver and the Great Sacred Treasure.' Dyntos presented his newly-created ultimate weapons.

Ominous thunder roars throughout the workshop before a gigantic bolt of divine blue lightning crashes before the curious heroes, for they witness an imposingly humanoid, stern red-eyed silhouette standing up within the lightning. The lightning then disperses, revealing the God Weaver Armor in all its awesome glory. It largely resembles the classic Spider-Armor Mark I with its majestic silver and black color scheme and with a mask design based on The Destroyer from Asgard. Its chest has a large black spider-emblem, along with its forehead having a small golden spider-logo. The shoulder pieces have spider faces built on them, with the armor overall having golden accents that truly makes it stand out as the ultimate spider-armor.

"Whoooa…" Spider-Man remarked in an utterly amazed awe, almost to the point of looking speechless.

The God Weaver is Spider-Man's ultimate weapon. The massive mechanical beast that is the Great Sacred Treasure is seen by Pit flying in as he assumes, "You're just giving them to us? We don't have to do something horrible first?"

The tricky Dyntos just laughs, 'That depends on your definition of "horrible".', as both his ultimate weapons strike suddenly strike battle poses against their first targets: Pit and Spider-Man.

"Wait! Don't shoot!" Pit retorted in vain, left with no choice but to help Spidey in taking down the ultimate godslayers to pass the final trial.

BGM-Kid Icarus: Uprising OST-Boss Fight 1

The God Weaver Armor gradually begins glowing, slowly emitting four godly red ethereal spider-arms behind its back, and then launches toward Spider-Man at the most awestrucking speeds he has ever witnessed. It delivers a massive punch, but Spidey just barely intercepts it upon assuming his Beast Out state, causing a huge crater beneath them and unleashing titanic shockwaves that spread throughout the massive workshop.

"Wow, what power…My hands can't stop trembling…" Beast Out Spidey commented in awe.

The Great Sacred Treasure is just as marvelously impressive. Despite its huge size, it is as nimble as it is incredibly powerful, capable of shooting a wide range of projectiles like fireballs, lasers, and arrows that is keeping Pit on his highly tense toes. "Dang! Now this is a trial!" Pit commented in great amazement.

'Look alive out there, sonny! This is a far cry from the Three Sacred Treasures of old, eh? This beauty is made of pure orichalcum!' Dyntos revealed on what the Great Sacred Treasure is made of.

"Oh, wow! …I don't know what that is." Pit admitted.

"The power readings I'm getting from this thing is out of this world! This armor is radiating much more power than anything I had ever seen! How is that possible?" scanned Spidey, clashing powerful blows with the God Weaver that has a sizable edge over him.

'Thank the crossover combination of orichalcum and Uru!' Dyntos answered.

"Uru? The same stuff as Thor's hammer?" Spidey retorted.

'Found some in a dimensional rift a while back, and that's just the start. The God Weaver amplifies your natural connection to the Web of Life by an unprecedented percentage, granting a Spider-Totem power WELL BEYOND The Other! With Loki drawing power from Yggdrasil that's connected to the Nine Realms, figured I'd hook you up with power from countless dimensions! In layman's terms, you'll become the Amazing God of Spiders in that suit!' Dyntos clarified to the webslinger.

"POWER from the entire multiverse?! That is god nuts!" Spidey retorted with astounding disbelief, receiving an atrocious headbutt that he retaliates with a swift kick that sends it away for a quick moment.

During the intense battle against the ultimate weapons, Palutena grunts, 'Ungh…', to announce her awakening.

"Lady Palutena! You're all right!" Pit expressed his relief.

'I don't know what happened. I must have fallen asleep.' Palutena stated.

"What?! Since when do you nap on the job?" Pit retorted.

'You can thank Lord Dyntos for that little trick.' Palutena revealed she was sleeping during the fight with her twisted clone.

'Why, you're very welcome, missy! You seem refreshed!' Dyntos snarked.

"No way! You have the power to put THE GODDESS OF LIGHT to sleep?! This hardly seems like a fair fight!" Pit expressed his utter shock at that amazing feat that further proves Dyntos's power exceeds even that of Hades.

The Ultimate Weapons continue giving the heroes a run for their money, yet still fails to wound their unwavering will that's pushing them to keep fighting. From a war-crying dash is Beast Out Spidey trading blows with the God Weaver, both using their spider-arms to their greatest potential as they land decent high-speed hits on their opponent. God Weaver's waldoes are more powerful as they can disrupt mystical energies, weakening The Other by smacking him back severely before firing a Divine Web Shot that is explosively countered by Spidey's Holy Web Shot. The Great Sacred Treasure then summons a mighty whirlwind that shoots Pit into the air, where he recovers and retaliates with powerful blade blasts fired from his Hewdraw Club that earns him a full-speed tackle from the mech, knocking him down to receive his vengeful Cragalanche Cannon shots.

Upon taking surprisingly enough damage, both Weapons' strategies begin changing. The God Weaver Armor uses its webbing to entrap everyone and the entire battlefield in a pocket dimension stylized with webs. "You kidding me?! A WEB Dimension?! That Armor can create its own dimension using WEBS?!" Spidey noted with great surprise.

'Watch out, guys!' Palutena shouted, upon noticing the Great Sacred Treasure teleporting to the side of the platform and begins charging a massive attack.

At the last second, the heroes avoided its massive beam that would've vaporized them but it did destroy half of the battlefield. "That was really close!" Pit exclaimed with outstanding shock.

'I told you those things were powerful!' Dyntos reminded them.

'But, Lord Dyntos…Aren't you worried about what might happen if these fell into the wrong hands?' Palutena asked.

'Of course I am! That's why I'm testing these young warriors. I need to know if they have the skills and heart to operate the God Weaver and the Great Sacred Treasure.' Dyntos answered.

"The Great Sacred Treasure is serious business!" commented Pit, focused in dodging its insane shots.

"Instead of dodging its incoming shots, try running to the side. Anticipate where it will finish its movement, then hit it with a side-dash charged shot." Beast Out Spidey advised him.

"What about you?" Pit asked how he's going to defeat the God Weaver.

"Have a tank?" quipped Spidey, watching his opponent charging at him.

"No."

"Then escaping its maneuvers and speed will be nearly impossible!" Spidey retorted whilst being vigorously pummeled.

The angel warrior takes his advice to heart and runs away from the Sacred Treasure's onslaught, anticipating the exact moment it reaches its cooldown period to strike it with a charged shot. While he's focused on that, the spiders continue their bout, with Beast Out Spidey bouncing off the webs of the Web Dimension in order to counter God Weaver's increased speed. The Armor then unleashes a barrage of rapidfire energy blasts that its foe barely manages to dodge, countering by coming around its side and strike it hard in the gut. Now glowing with rage, God Weaver unleashes a large electrified explosion that stuns Spidey, leaving him wide open for its glowing wrist stingers that can tear open the fabric of reality. Before landing the dashing strike, however, the God Weaver was caught off-guard by Spidey bursting out his X-Aura, using it just to counter its attack with a vicious Web Throw that takes the full brunt of the energy arrows that the Great Sacred Treasure was going to unleash on Pit.

Right after webbing the God Weaver onto the Great Sacred Treasure, Spidey shouts at Pit, "NOW! Give them everything!", whilst joining his side and charging his Holy Web Shot to full power. Pit complies, both equipping and charging the Doom Cannon to maximum power. The dimensional heroes unleash their combined blast which defeats the ultimate weapons, finally passing the final trial.

BGM End

"Woo hoo! And to the victor go the spoils!" Pit hollered out their amazing victory, just as the Web Dimension safely collapses and they all return to Dyntos's Workshop.

'Nicely done!' Dyntos congratulated them for passing his three trials.

With the Ultimate Weapons defeated, both Pit and Spidey couldn't wait trying them out for themselves. Pit begins piloting the Great Sacred Treasure, using it to eagerly zip across the skies like an overjoyed child. "Now THIS is where it's at!" Pit smiled.

Spider-Man puts on the God Weaver Armor, excitedly using it to show off its different weapon functions like Divine Webbing, Energy Blasts, and Lightning Blasts. "Wait 'til Tony Stark gets a load of this!" He boasted.

Dyntos appears on the platform with his back turned to the kids' playing, as Palutena asks him, 'Oh, Lord Dyntos?'

"Yep, that's my name." Dyntos snarked.

'That was quite a few enemies for "Three Trials," wouldn't you agree?'

"I might have thrown in a few freebies."

Just as Spidey strikes a content pose, he is crushed out of nowhere by Pit having a little too much fun with his massive mech. "Oh, dear." The Gods remarked with shocked expressions, prompting Palutena to teleport them away.

Later at Skyworld…

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-War of the Realms

"Why again didn't we ALL get godslaying weapons?" Weiss questioned sternly, during a little meeting between the Avengers, Skyworlders, and Asgardians in the War Room.

"Because you wouldn't be able to handle their awesomeness." Spider-Man snarked.

"That's bull and you know it." Weiss retorted, which just makes her friend laugh.

"And you say Thor will show?" Freyja asked.

"Soon." Palutena answered her.

Freyja frowns, "I prayed it was sooner. Time has run out for the Realms. All but Midgard has now been conquered by the Tricksters. It will not be long before they complete their conquest."

"Don't care what Fury said! We can't wait for Thor! It's high-time we take the fight to them! All-or-nothing!" Sonic expressed his reckless idea to fight the Dark Gods immediately.

"Sonic's right. The longer we talk, the more powerful Loki gets." Spidey commented.

"Because of Yggdrasil. We must separate him from the tree if we are to have a fighting chance. Its magic would be nearly impossible to cleanse at this point…" Freyja believed.

"Been thinking about that. I have a plan that will break the link." Spidey said confidently, much to his friends' great interest.

"You do?" The shocked Freyja responded.

Spidey nods, "It's a long shot. Risky. And I know you gods won't like it. But trust me when I say it's our best shot to save our homes. Even Loki and Hades won't see it coming."

"While I cannot speak for the other gods, I can speak for myself." Palutena said as she sincerely expresses to her friend, "You have earned my trust, Spider-Man. Whatever the risk, we will see it through together."

"Thor seems to trust you, so know that Asgard will trust you to the bitter end." Freyja said, also placing her trust in the mortal's plan.

"Thank you." Spidey replied politely. "Call Viridi. We're gonna need her for this. One way or another, this All-War ends today!" The Web Warrior vowed, determined with all his heart to end the reign of the nightmare gods.
