Spencer and Lorelai had gotten the house they had put the offer in for and everyone was helping them move into the place on Saturday. Lorelai was six months pregnant at this point and they needed to get into the house and get settled. She had to be reminded several times not to lift heavy things.

It was getting to the point that Spencer was getting very frustrated with her. He went over to her. "You need to stop with the heavy lifting. So, you have two choices. You can stop or I can make you stop." He said calmly

Lorelai took a breath and was about to argue but she saw the look on her fiancé's face and knew he meant business.

"I mean it Lorelai." He reiterated.

Lorelai nodded. "Got it."

They got all moved in. They had a couple of deliveries throughout the day as well of furniture that they would be needing as well. They were about finished, and Lorelai went to make sure the back of the moving truck was empty and there was one box left. She went to grab the box. It was heavier than she should have been lifting but no one needed to see her. She stepped out of the truck and bumped into Derek.

"I can take that from you." He said taking it and realizing it was heavy. He raised an eyebrow.

Lorelai took a breath.

"I heard Spencer tell you to stop with the heavy things," Derek said.

"Okay. I'm sorry. Please don't tell him." Lorelai said her eyes glassing over like she was going to cry.

Derek let out a breath. "Lor. Come on. You know he's right. You should be taking it easy."

"I know. You're right. I'll stop." Lorelai said

"Stop what?" Spencer asked coming out.

"You can tell him, or I will," Derek said.

Lorelai looked down and didn't say anything.

"What's going on?" Spencer asked

"I came out and took this box from her. It's pretty heavy." Derek said before he went inside

Spencer looked at Lorelai. "That was the last box?" He asked

She nodded a bit.

Spencer closed the back of the moving truck and locked it up.

"Let's go inside." He said

Lorelai went with him they both went inside.

"Everything is pretty much unpacked. Let's order some food for everyone." He said before he moved in close to her ear and whispered. "don't think you are getting away with it because you're not."

Lorelai nodded. She took a breath and went to the kitchen while Spencer called and put in an order for pizza for the group.

When the pizza got there everyone ate.

Aaron sat next to Lorelai. "How are you feeling?"

"A lot of feelings," Lorelai responded.

"Pretty normal," Aaron said.

"That house was the first place I truly felt at home. Felt like I belonged and was loved and wanted so I'm a little sad to be leaving. But this house is going to be where I bring my first child home. Where Spencer and I are going to grow as a family, and I am so excited about that." Lorelai said

"You will always have a home there," Aaron said.

Lorelai looked up at him and smiled. "I know."

Aaron nodded.

Spencer sat on Lorelai's other side. "She tell you how she tried to lift another heavy box?"

Lorelai sighed. "Thanks, Spence."

"Lorelai," Aaron said

"It was a box. Not a piece of furniture." Lorelai said

"If Derek thinks it was heavy. It's heavy." Spencer said

"Excuse me." She said getting up and walking away from the two of them.

Spencer sighed. Aaron patted him on the shoulder.

JJ saw her looking upset and went over to her. "You okay?" JJ asked

"I'm just tired of being treated like I'm just a walking incubator at this point," Lorelai said.

"Ah. Yeah. I get that. I do. But you have the perfect opportunity to sit on your butt and make Spencer take care of your every need." JJ said with a smirk.

"I hate being taken care of." Lorelai pointed out

"Why? Because you always have had to take care of everyone else?" JJ asked

"Stop profiling me," Lorelai said.

JJ smiled. "You know it's not something that can be turned off that easily."

Spencer came over. "Can we talk?" He asked Lorelai

Lorelai sighed and shrugged.

JJ went back to what she was doing.

"I'm sorry if you feel I'm being over-protective," Spencer said

"I'm not just a human incubator," Lorelai said.

"I know. You are the love of my life. Who is carrying our baby. You aren't supposed to be lifting heavy things. You know that. The doctor has told you that." Spencer said

"And who gets to decide what is 'too' heavy?" Lorelai said

"Okay. Was that box light enough that you could have carried it?" Spencer asked

Lorelai shrugged.

"Come on. I'm giving you the option to tell me that Derek was overreacting. If he really was." Spencer said

Lorelai looked down and shook her head.

"You knew it was too heavy?" He asked

Lorelai nodded.

"It's okay to ask for and accept help," Spencer said. "I know that is hard for you. But it is okay."

Lorelai nodded. "I know. I'm sorry. I will take it easy. But please don't rat me out to my dad."

Spencer nodded. "Okay. I'm sorry." He hugged her. "Now come on back to the party."

The two went back to the group.

After finishing eating. JJ, Penny, Tara, and Lorelai went into the kitchen and finished unpacking all the kitchen items in the cabinets.

Lorelai rubbed at her ribs

"You okay?" Tara asked

"Yup. Just the baby is pushing at my ribs." Lorelai said gently pushing trying to get the baby to move

"Ah. Don't miss that." JJ said

When they finished up they went and sat down

Aaron and Dave came back in. They had left to go get coffee/tea for everyone and handed the drinks out.

Lorelai took her tea and thanked them. They all enjoyed their drinks before everyone picked up the garbage and put it all in the garage before starting to head out. It had been a long day, and it was time for everyone to let Lorelai and Spencer start enjoying their new place alone.

Once everyone had gone Lorelai looked at Spencer. "I think I'm going to take a bath."

Spencer smiled and nodded. "Good."

Lorelai went and started the bath. Making sure the water temperate was at a safe temperature for her. She added in some Epson salts before climbing in and taking a breath relaxing into the warmth of the bath.

Spencer took a shower before getting ready for bed and unpacking some of his clothing. About an hour later Lorelai came into the bedroom from the bathroom. She got dressed for bed and sat down on the bed and brushed through her hair.

Spencer waited for her to be done getting ready for bed before he started to talk.

"I realize you have a hard time asking for help. But we had an agreement that you wouldn't continue to lift heavy things. And you did it anyways," He said.

Lorelai put the hairbrush in the bathroom before sitting next to him on the bed looking down. "I know. I'm sorry."

Spencer nodded. "Do you understand why I worry?"

"I do." She said. "Please don't be angry."

"I'm not angry. Just concerned." Spencer said

Lorelai nodded. "I think I might have popped a rib…"

Spencer sighed. He took out his phone and texted their friend John.

Spencer Reid: "Is popping a rib something we should worry about in pregnancy?"

John and Hunter were just getting the kids ready for bed when John got the text he read it and sent a quick reply.

Johnathan Black: "Worry about not really. It can happen as the baby is growing to make room. She sees a chiropractor right? They should be able to help to pop it back in place."

Spencer read the text and nodded showing it to Lorelai.

Lorelai nodded. "I have an appointment Monday." She told him

Spencer sent out a second text

Spencer Reid: "Thank you, John."

John sent back that it wasn't a problem glad to help.

Spencer looked at Lorelai. "I'm trying to decide right now if I need to deal with you for breaking our agreement."

Lorelai nodded and let out a breath. "I'm sorry. It won't happen again. I will ask for help. I will accept help."

Spencer nodded.

"I'm not going to fight it if you think it's necessary, but I promise I won't do any more heavy lifting during the pregnancy or afterward until the doctor says it's safe," Lorelai said

Spencer nodded and kissed her shoulder. "Why don't we break in the new bed instead." He said with a small smirk.

Lorelai smiled and nodded.

The two of them made love in their new home and new bed before falling asleep.
