Landing at the end of the corridor, Mario and Sonic quickly got up off the floor.

"This is bad. Worse than I ever anticipated!" Mario exclaimed.

"If you had told me Waluigi was able to use the power of The Phantom Ruby, I'd've laughed in your face." Sonic quickly replied. "But after the shit we've been through in the past few days, that just seems as normal as Metal Sonic coming back for more."

"Speaking of Metal Sonic, or more accurately Eggman, we should head back to him and let him know what's going on." Mario said.

Sonic nodded. "We should inform Mega and Pac too." He added.

Mario replied with a nod. "Let's go." He said, before the two took off towards the room that Eggman was left in.

"Waluigi's behind all this?!" Eggman exclaimed.

"Somehow, he got a hold of a Phantom Ruby shard." Sonic sighed. "And he's unfortunately a petty loser. A loser who's upset that he didn't become a fighter."

"And he plans to destroy the mansion because of it." Mario added, before sighing. "Why can't he just take it out on me with some shells or something?"

"Hey Eggman," Sonic began. "Any updates on your robots?"

"It's worse than I thought." Eggman replied. "Nearly my entire arsenal has been hacked or stolen."

"Nearly all?" Sonic asked.

"A few of my past… ahem, "Latest and Greatest's" are stored deep in my archives." Eggman replied. "Creations like the Death Egg Robot, Big Arm, Egg Dragoon, even the scraps of my Nega Wisp Armour are stored there."

"You take the time to rebuild and restore some of them I'm guessing?" Mario asked.

"Yep." Eggman responded with a smile on his face. "I refuse to let good machinery go to waste. I spend too much time for them to be thrown into the waste bucket!"

"Status report for your tech has been updated with new information." A calm, robotic voice said from behind Eggman.

Eggman sighed. "And speaking of waste buckets…" he said. "Two of the three robots who survived have arrived." He added, addressing the arriving Orbot and Cubot.

"It's looking bleak Boss!" Cubot exclaimed. "There's very few of us robots left."

"As I feared." Eggman muttered to himself. "What's the status of the Emerald recon mission?"

"Emerald recon?" Sonic question.

As soon as Sonic questioned Eggman, a familiar tin can suddenly flew through the door, before landing in between Orbot and Cubot.

"Metal Sonic…" Sonic muttered.

"Welcome back, big brother!" Cubot exclaimed.

Metal Sonic simply glared at Cubot, before turning his attention to Mario and Sonic, the latter of whom seemed to tense up

"Relax, Sonic." Eggman said. "Metal, Orbot, Cubot and I are fighting on the mansion's side." he added, before turning towards his three remaining robots.

"What's the occasion?" Mario questioned. "You on the mansion's side?"

"Respect for Master Hand." Eggman replied. "Master Hand has housed us villains in this mansion, despite many of the things we've done in the past. As such, us villains have a code. "Anything that we do to the likes of Mario or Sonic or Link or whoever, we keep outside the mansion," he continued. "No harm is to come to the mansion or the people inside it."

"You're telling me that even Sephiroth follows those rules?" Sonic chuckled.

"Yes." Eggman replied. "Despite what ended up happening with his "arrival" to the mansion, Master Hand still allowed him to stay. As such, he follows that rule alongside the rest of us." Eggman took notice of Metal's impatience, so he spoke up to him, and the other two robots in the room. "Present any emeralds you may have."

Metal, Orbot and Cubot opened their hands, and showed the room the Chaos Emeralds that they had acquired. "Only six Emeralds?" Eggman enquired.

Metal Sonic replied with a series of beeps. "The seventh emerald is missing?" Eggman replied. To which Metal responded with a nod of his head.

"And it seems that the missing emerald is the purple one." Sonic noticed.

Mario pondered for a moment. "It seems that our purple menace may be the one in possession of our missing emerald."

"I'm guessing that's a very safe bet," Cubot said.

As this was happening however, a large amount of gunshots were heard from where the Phantom Thieves' rooms were located.

Sonic looked at Mario and Eggman. "I'll go and investigate what's going on there. You two stay here. And Metal?" Metal Sonic turned his attention to Sonic. "If you're really on the mansion's side, then prove it."

Metal Sonic handed the two emeralds he was holding to Mario. Before facing Sonic, replicating Sonic's typical battle stance.

"If you actually mean this, then let's get 'em, Metal!" Sonic said, before the two ran towards the Phantom Thieves' rooms

Hazel held the Keyblade in an offensive stance. "You robots have dealt with Sonic The Hedgehog, but let's see you deal with Kingdom Hearts!"

She spun her Keyblade in her left hand, before pointing it at the Egg Pawns. "Let's go!" She exclaimed, ready to fight.

*Play Song - Wiping All Out (Persona 3 Portable)*

"KEYBLADE IDENTIFIED!" One of the Egg pawns exclaimed. "ALL WHO ARE ASSOCIATED WITH SORA MUST BE DESTROYED."

Two Egg Pawns armed with swords and shields charged towards Hazel, who effortlessly evaded the two robots. With their backs turned to the Keyblade wielder, Hazel swung the keyblade into the back of one of the Egg Pawns, cutting it clean in half. Using the momentum she had built up from the spin, she balanced on her left leg, before spinning on her toes like a ballerina and slicing through the second armed Egg Pawn.

"Too easy!" Hazel cockily said, slamming her right foot onto the ground, bringing her spin to a halt. She twirled her keyblade as the 2 remaining robots turned to face. Hazel then pointed her at the unarmed Egg Pawns. "Fire!" She exclaimed, before shooting a ball of fire at the two robots. The fire ripped through the two robots, ridding Inaba of the Egg Pawns.

Unfortunately, Waluigi had direct feed into the visuals of the pawns. Hazel's response to their unwelcomed arrival was seen by Waluigi, who was already pissed at having to see…

"Another fucking keyblade weilder?!" He exclaimed, furious.

Waluigi was too pissed to even think about fully dealing with Hazel, so he sent another 5 Egg Pawns through another vortex. This time though, he sent 3 Egg Robos into Inaba with them.

Back in Inaba, Hazel spun her keyblade, and rested it on her shoulder. She turned around, surprised to see that the Investigation Team wasn't there. Before she had a chance to complain, she saw them charge back towards her, armed with their familiar weapons.

"Sorry to abandon you, Hazel-Senpai." Rise said. "The other had to grab weapons, and I ended up following them out of instinct."

Hazel planned to tell Rise not to worry, but everyone noticed the same vortex appear once again. Another 5 Egg Pawns poured out, and instantly charged towards the group.

This time though, the armed group all attacked at once. Yukiko sliced at one of the Egg Pawns, with Chie finishing off the weakened robot with a trademark Galactic Punt. Chie then ran to another one, ducking as it swung its sword towards her, but taking her crouched stance to one-shot the robot with a swift roundhouse kick.

Yosuke attacked one of the Pawns with a series of rapid slashes with his two Kunai. Teddie ran behind the slashed robot, and finished it off with a larger slash of his own. Yosuke flashed Teddie a smile of appreciation upon the pawn's defeat, to which Teddie responded with a thumbs up.

With two left to destroy Yu and Kanji nodded at each other, before splitting up to take out the two robots each. Yu was able to one shot an Egg Pawn via performing a Cross Slash with his sword that he knew would make Izanagi proud.

Kanji however? Kanji went for a different technique. Kanji stood on one of the tables behind the final Egg Pawn, before jumping off it and bringing his folding chair down upon the pawn. Kanji seemed to find this the easy way out, as he decided to continuously, and rapidly, bash his folding chair into the damaged droid.

As the team was about to celebrate their victory, three Egg Robo's flew out of the vortex, and flew around to shoot their targets from behind.

"Oh, fuck me!" Hazel exclaimed. "Egg Robos!"

"Powerful blasters and added mobility..." Yosuke observed. "Grab whatever you can, and shield yourselves!" He added, picking up one of the tables in the food court and holding it in front of himself

"Won't your dad be pretty pissed at you for that though?" Kanji questioned.

"Nah." Yosuke replied. "We're replacing everything after closing tod-." One of the Egg Robo's shot the table that was hiding the group of Yosuke, Chie, Kanji and Rise.

"NOWSNOTHETIMEFORTHISSHITYOSUKE!" Chie exclaimed, before a set of 6 gunshots rang out.

As the smoke cleared, everyone could make out the Egg Robos falling from the sky. Naoto was spotted near them, her gun smoking.

"That was awesome, Naoto-Senpai!" Rise exclaimed, as the Egg Robos landed on the ground.

With the Egg Robos on the floor, Hazel looked at the scene in front of her.

"Here's your chance for an All-Out Attack!" She exclaimed.

Yu, Kanji, Teddie and Naoto nodded at each other and charged towards the pile of Egg Robos, finishing them off with an All Out Attack.

*Stop Song*

"Whew." Teddie sighed. "It's been a beary long time since we've had action on that scale!"

"Respectfully ignoring your pun…" Yosuke sighed. "You're right. An invasion of robots in our quiet town? I wasn't expecting that after a glorified dance battle!"

"Hey, Hazel-Senpai?" Kanji asked, turning his attention towards Hazel. "Does this shit happen in your universe's version of our universe?"

"No." Hazel replied. "The last we see from you guys is the dancing stuff."

Chie placed a hand against her head. "Oh man… This whole universes within universes shit still doesn't sit right with me…"

"In simplistic terms…" Yosuke began. "It's appearing to be like a multiverse."

Chie stared at Yosuke with a deadpan expression. "Perfectly not confusing." She sarcastically replied.

As Yosuke and Chie began to bicker, Hazel looked at the Keyblade in her hand, before noticing something. Her arm was covered by a black woollen sleeve, a woollen purple glove covering her hand. Hazel looked at the rest of her upper body, realising that she seemed to be wearing the same outfit from her awakening dream. The black woollen jumper and purple woollen gloves were accompanied by a pair of black denim dungarees. Running her fingers beneath her ears, she felt the familiar dangle of her Keyblade earrings, and looking to the top of her jumper, she saw her rose quartz necklace as it sat around her neck. Looking at the rest of her outfit, she saw that she was wearing the same black boots. She was happy to see that the boots she currently wore were her favourite kind, A heavy lace-up ankle boot complete with an air cushioned sole. She even noted the rose pattern on the outer sides of her boots.

Yu noticed Hazel looking at her attire. "Is everything good there?"

"Yeah." Hazel said. "I've awakened to a Keyblade, and I seem to have been given a Keyblade Wielder outfit. It just clicked now."

Yu paused for a second. "Did you have a dream relating to all of this?"

"Yes, I did." Hazel replied. "Almost identical to Kingdom Hearts One's awakening moment."

Yu looked back, and simply said. "I had a dream too. Except, I returned to the Velvet Room." A burst of conviction hit Yu's face, as he strode into Junes. Everyone else noticed Yu walk into Junes without a word, and as such, they followed suit.

Everyone was surprised as to where Yu had led them. The familiar layout of Junes' electronics aisle.

"Narukami?" Yosuke questioned.

"Two dreams, relating to the powers of the heart. One of them being the Velvet Room." Yu thought aloud to himself, before turning his attention to everyone else. "I think something big is afoot, and I need to make sure I'm not overthinking this."

Yu looked at the familiar TV that sat on the display rack, before gently reaching out to the screen.

And as he predicted, his hand went through the screen, white ripples emitting from around his hand, with a hint of yellow between each ripple.

Everyone around Yu gasped, his intentions being made clear.

"You're not suggesting what I think you're suggesting, are you?" Yukiko questioned.

"I need to make sure." Yu replied. "In the Velvet Room, I was informed that a new danger is rising. I've got a strong feeling that we need to explore the TV world."

"But do you guys have your glasses?" Hazel questioned.

"Don't worry about it!" Teddie chimed in. "I've always kept spare sets of the glasses on me!"

"Wait really?" Yosuke asked. "You kept spares?"

"Well, I made them in case they were damaged during our past battles." Teddie exclaimed. "But it seems we have a new use for them." Teddie turned his attention to Yu. "Are you sure about this?"

"Only if everyone else is up for this." Yu replied.

Everyone around him nodded, as Teddie began to pull out the spare glasses. Teddie then passed Hazel a pair that were identical to Yukiko's. "You'll need a pair too!" Teddie said.

"Thanks." Hazel replied, slipping the glasses onto her face. "I'm ready, Narukami-San." she said, resting her keyblade upon her shoulder.

Yu smirked. "Let's do it."

Yosuke and Chie kept watch of the aisle they were in, to make sure no one saw them enter the TV. Taking the lead, Yu walked into the TV first. He felt himself float through the familiar TV frame portal, but after a few seconds, the colour changed from white with black frames, to black with neon yellow, red, green and blue frames. The frames went by quicker, and Yu realised that they weren't just going into the TV world. But rather, another place entirely.

Sonic and Metal ran towards the rooms of the Phantom Thieves. As they approached, they noticed the destroyed bodies of Egg Pawns strewn along the floor. Metal slowed his speed, and looked at the scraps along the floor.

"Feeling sentimental, are you Metal?" Sonic sarcastically said.

Metal glared back at Sonic, seemingly offended at his quip, before continuing to walk towards the Phantom Thieves rooms.

"Metal, don't go too fast." Sonic warned. "You don't want to accidentally antagonise anyon-"

"What the 'eff?!" The familiar voice of Ryuji exclaimed. "What the hell are you doin' here, Metal Sonic?!"

Metal Sonic readied himself with a battle stance, taking Ryuji's tone as an antagonistic one.

Sonic dashed in front of Metal. "Ok, we don't need to do this right now," he quickly said.

"Wait, Metal's with you?" Futaba asked.

"Yep." Sonic replied. Sonic was about to elaborate, but then Metal's eyes began to flash and flicker. Metal's eyes then turned orange, and a few beeps sounded, indicating that someone was about to communicate through metal.

"Aha!" The raspy voice of Eggman rang out. "I knew that our menace wouldn't have had surveillance over Metal Sonic."

"Surveillance?" Morgana questioned.

"Ah. It seems that Mario, Sonic and I have beaten you to the punch." Eggman boasted. "We've figured out who's behind all of this."

Futaba smirked. "Well well well, what information have you got for us?" she asked.

"Waluigi." Eggman replied. "The culprit is Waluigi."

"For real?!" Ryuji exclaimed in surprise.

"Yep." Sonic replied. "And we have the proof too."

"I imagine that you guys are planning one of your "change of hearts" out of this." Jacob said, addressing Akira.

Akira paused for a minute, before pulling out his phone. "It's possible," he said, before turning his phone towards everyone. Everyone went wide-eyed, suddenly realising what Akira was showing them.

"The Meta-Nav!" Morgana exclaimed.

"It's back?!" Ann exclaimed.

Jacob took notice of what was going on, and remembering his visit to The Velvet Room the night before, pulled out his own phone. Everyone else continued to question why the Nav was back, as Jacob unlocked his phone.

And there it was. Jacob Sholmes, a boy who had only accessed a game environment labelled as Mementos, had now been granted access to the Mementos.

"Kurusu-kun…" Jacob said, matter of factly.

Akira turned his attention to Jacob, as did the others in the room. "What is it?"

Jacob turned his phone to Akira, letting the visuals do all the talking for him.

"Holy shit!" Ryuji exclaimed. "He's got it too!"

"Then that means…!" Yusuke realised.

"Sholmes-Sama has a Persona?!" Haru exclaimed.

"More than that…" Jacob replied, turning back to Akira. "I've been to The Velvet Room."

"...!" Akira was taken aback. "You're a Wild Card?"

"You can wield multiple Persona too?!" Morgana exclaimed.

"Appears so." Jacob chuckled. "I've just gotta awaken to them first." Jacob's face then displayed a joking smirk. "So if we could hop into Mementos as soon as possible so I could awaken, that'd be just swell."

Sonic chuckled. "I mean, you can't say he isn't up for this."

"I thought I'd see someone so eager to awaken to their Persona." Morgana said with a laugh. "First thing first, we need to see if Waluigi even has a palace."

Akira nodded, and opened the MetaNav.

"Waluigi." Akira said.

"Match found." The voice of the Meta-Nav replied after a few seconds of silence.

"I'm not surprised that it appeared to have a match." Makoto said.

"After what we found out, neither am I." Eggman chimed in.

"So now we have a name…" Yusuke began. "We now need the palace distor-"

"Pinball Table." Jacob stated. "Waluigi Pinball is most likely the look for his palace."

"Match found." The voice of the Meta-Nav replied after a few seconds of silence.

"Nice job!" Futaba said, praising Jacob. "Now then, we need a location."

"You think that the mansion would be that place?" Ryuji asked.

"It's worth a shot." Akira said, before looking towards Sonic. "I'd recommend heading back to where Mario and Eggman are, just in case you accidentally get sucked into the Palace with us."

"Gotcha." Sonic said, as Metal began to leave first. "Good luck."

"Thanks Sonic." Akira replied. "Good luck to your team too."

As Sonic and Metal Sonic took their leave, Akira turned back to the Meta-Nav.

"Super Smash Brothers Mansion." He said to the Meta-Nav.

"Match Found" The Meta-Nav replied, now complete with all 3 necessary pieces of information. The Thieves all got closer to Akira, as the Meta-Nav spoke one more time.

"Beginning Navigation."

The familiar red and black swirl filled everyone's vision, as the room of Smash Mansion distorted around them.

The Phantom Thieves felt the atmosphere around them shift. As they arrived in the Metaverse, they were able to see aspects of Waluigi's palace. The palace seemingly stood tall, and stood out with its bright Vegas-esq neon lights cascading across the otherwise dark night sky. Despite the Vegas vibes, a blizzard of purple assaulted the eyes of those who were there to witness the sight of the palace.

Oracle and Jacob pieced the Palace's design together from the small bits they could make out.

Looking at each other, they simply said: "Waluigi Pinball."

"Well that makes it easier for us!" Skull cheered. "Just loop around the track and find the purple bastard."

"Unfortunately, I doubt it's gonna be that simple." Queen sighed. "Waluigi is someone who would have their ego definitely make this palace quite large. The track layout may well be in here, but it'll only make up a small segment of the whole palace."

Skull slouched. "Yeah, you're right." he sighed.

"It's gonna suck, but it's what we've gotta deal with." Panther chimed in.

"What's the plan, Joker?" Jacob questioned.

Pulling on his gloves, Joker turned his attention to the Thieves. "We're back in business. So stick by me, and we'll blast through this palace as quickly as we can."

The other thieves nodded. "Alright. Let's begin the operation." Mona exclaimed, as the Thieves began to run out from the area they were in, eager to investigate Waluigi's palace.
