Alright, this was probably one of my favorite Episodes to write way back when. I'll look forward to publishing this throughout this week.

Summary: After an intruder breaks into the Tower to steal an old villain trophy, the Titans chase her across Jump City... and get their butts handed to them. It would have been bad enough if it was just any old villain. However, this girl is possibly connected to the Titan's greatest nemesis of all time... and Robin fears what this could mean for his team, and his girlfriend.

The view showed a dark, cloudless, yet windy night. The T-Tower stood dark in the middle of the bay. Medium-sized waves lapped up against the shores of the island down below.

"Villains… trouble-makers… runners from the law..." Robin's voice sounded calmly in the background.

The scene focused on a part of the T-Tower. A shadowy figure was seen scaling up under the left side of the large T.

"Or as I like to call them all… criminals," Robin continued.

The view showed up close in the dark as the figure put a device up to one of the windows near the bottom of the T. It stuck to the window, and an arm came out from it.

It moved in a quick circle over the glass. And then it pulled out the circle of glass it had cut. The figure moved through the hole into the Titan's home.

"All of them have their tricks."

The view showed one of the hallways from a security camera's view. A small laser hit it, and the view became static for a moment…

Then it was back to normal. The shadow of the figure was barely seen out of the corner of its view before it disappeared.

"All of them have their abilities."

Another hallway was shown with a laser grid running through it. The figure appeared at the end of the hallway behind the laser grid and ran toward it.

The figure vaulted through the laser grid. Getting through almost all the lasers untouched. As she flipped over the last one, only a piece of the figure's long hair touched against a laser. Cutting it off.

The figure landed on her feet and continued running around the corner. As the few strands of white hair settled on the ground behind her and a small alarm went off at the contact.

"All of them… have faced the Teen Titans..."

The view showed a door with a lock on it. The figure with long white hair pulled a katana from a sheath on her back as she approached.

Sksh.

The lock fell quietly down to the ground below. And the figure pushed open the door.

"And lost."

The figure briefly paused to take in the room before her.

The scene showed the Titan's trophy room. All the relics of past villains rested on stands, on shelves, or on display inside cases.

The figure walked into the room, still holding a katana in her hand.

"Brother Blood."

The view showed the figure walking by a red and white cybernetic arm resting on a stand.

"Trigon the Terrible."

The view then showed the figure walking by a Reaper's scythe. It rested on a long table under lock and key.

"The Brotherhood of Evil."

The view next showed the figure walking by a picture hanging on the wall. It was of all the Titans next to the frozen statues of the Brain, Gorilla Grod, Madam Rouge, and others…

"... Slade."

The figure walked past the dreadful-looking mask of Slade Wilson. It rested on a stand inside a glass case.

The view moved behind her at last as she approached a shelf close to the end of the room. On a lone top shelf, rested the scarred cube of the first Substance Adam had defeated long ago.

"Sometimes, we'd like to think that we always put away criminals for good… That we manage to stop evil in its tracks..."

The figure put her katana back in its sheath. And then she reached out and picked up the cube with her free hand.

Robin finally appeared in the view right behind her. His Bo-Staff was already extended. He swung it down to hit her.

Kink!

The figure quickly turned, using her shielded arm to hit Robin's Bo-Staff away. Robin looked up in anger… only for his face to twist in surprise.

"But sometimes, we find that evil will breed itself another generation of evil. And stop us in our tracks." Robin's background voice finished.

The view showed the figure up close.

She didn't have the shadowy look over the orange and steel-colored cloth on her face. Or the light black grooved armor that ran along her body. From her orange boots to the bottom of her neck.

It was like staring down a relic from a dark past. Only he almost didn't catch what she said next.

"I saw that attack coming a mile away, Robin." The girl that looked like Slade said humorlessly.

Sssssss!

A smoke grenade activated in her other hand, and Robin fell coughing to his knees.

When the smoke finally cleared, he looked around himself again.

The figure was gone, along with the cube. Only a hole in the nearby window indicated where she had gone.

The scene faded to black…

(Music Ends)…

The view showed the calm-looking city from a downtown view. The tops of the buildings were seen, along with the lines of night traffic…

'The Rose Connection' appeared along the bottom of the view in white bold letters.

Boom!

An explosion happened on top of one of the buildings. The letters faded away from view.

The scene changed, showing a random rooftop of the city. A pair of steel-toed boots pounded along the roof as chase scene music began to blare.

The view expanded a little more, showing the Titan's leader running with two disks in his hands.

The view expanded a little more. Starfire was flying above him. Cyborg was on his right. A green gorilla was on his left. Adam was right behind Robin. All of them were running/flying in the same direction.

The view showed up ahead. The figure from before was running away from the Titans. She had the cube strapped to her belt, and her two katanas in their sheathe on her back.

"Any ideas why she's trying to steal my fetching trophy?!" Adam asked.

"Nope! Let's take her down and find out!" Cyborg yelled back.

Ksch! Ksch! Ksch!

Starfire's hands lit up, and she launched star bolt after star bolt after the figure.

The figure, almost on instinct moved to the left, and then to the right. She then jumped over the center. Dodging each star bolt effortlessly, without breaking from her run.

Robin tried his luck next. And he threw the two disks from his hands through the air.

Boom!

The figure rolled to the right of the explosion.

Boom!

The figure jumped over the next explosion and continued to run.

"She's agile. I'll give her that." Robin said frustratingly.

Kthth!

The green gorilla stopped to tear a large AC unit out from the roof. He then chucked it through the air at the figure.

The figure drew her katana and jumped again. She turned herself around to face the oncoming AC unit.

Slash!

Her katana sliced the AC unit in two. Her body followed her katana, and she turned forward again. As she turned, she grabbed her other katana from its sheath and swung it forward.

Slash! "Augh!"

The view showed Raven fall away. She gripped a long gash along her right arm. The dark portal closed behind her.

Pow!

One of the two pieces to the AC hit Raven in the head, and she fell unconscious to the ground. The figure continued running past her. Sheathing her katanas again as she did so.

"Okay… How the fetch did she manage to do that?!" Adam asked.

"Don't ask me, man?! All I know is she just hurt my little sis!" Cyborg replied. He extended his sonic cannon.

Ksch!

The view showed the Titans run past Raven's prone body on the ground. With Cyborg firing his sonic cannon at the figure.

The green gorilla stopped at Raven, and then it morphed into Beast Boy. He took bandages from his belt and started to wrap them around the long gash on her arm.

The chase scene music quieted somewhat as a huge, anime sweatdrop appeared on his head. One that he tried to wipe away.

"I really hope she doesn't remember that I threw the AC." He said to himself.

The view went back to the running figure. The chase scene music went back to full blast.

She jumped off of one rooftop down to a lower rooftop. And then she continued to run.

The view showed the other Titans jump from the higher rooftop too. Adam jumped, and then he glided through the air alongside Starfire with his bow out.

Twang! Ksch! Twang! Ksch! Twang!

The duo fired an array of starbolts, eyebeams, and arrows at the fleeing figure.

The view showed her weave amongst the array of attacks. From slicing Adam's arrows out of the air to avoiding or jumping over the areas of the roof that collapsed under Starfire's starbolt barrage.

"I am starting to believe that this is not the ordinary individual," Starfire commented.

"Yeah, but I still haven't seen her showcase any powers or anything." Adam frowned as the bow disappeared from his grip.

A sword appeared in his hands instead. He then dove down through the air, aiming for where the figure would be so he could engage and force her to stop and face them.

"Yahhhhhh!" The view showed Cyborg running up behind the figure. His fist was cocked for a massive punch.

The figure's eyes glanced back. And she ran forward for a moment more. Adam was coming down fast from the air. Both him and Cyborg were converging on her.

Whoosh!

The figure jumped high up in the air. Jumping right above Adam's downward slash.

Boom.

Adam glided hard right into the brick chimney to the roof.

Boom!

Cyborg, who also didn't see the brick chimney, slammed into Adam and the brick chimney. The chimney crumbled into pieces all around them.

The figure continued on. Starfire and Robin ran/flew past.

"Oh, man. You okay there?" Cyborg asked apologetically.

Adam groaned beneath him.

"Seriously, anything I can do to help out man?" He asked.

"Yeah… get your big fat butt off me!" Adam yelled back.

Cyborg looked offended. "I'm not fat! I'm big-boned!" He yelled back.

"Godzilla was big-boned. Your, butt, is, CRUSHING ME!"

Ksch! Ksch! Ksch!

The view showed Starfire again. She was hurtling star bolts now like it was nobody's business.

The view showed the runaway figure again dodging each star bolt with ease. It was almost like she was mocking Starfire as she moved to where the star bolts didn't go.

Finally, Starfire decided to fly forward quickly through the air to get close. She charged up a massive star bolt to fire at the figure.

The figure suddenly stopped and turned around. She had a weird pyramid-shaped device that she threw from her hand at Starfire.

Kzzzttt!

The object struck Starfire in the forehead. And a wave of electricity engulfed her body. She didn't have time to scream as her body flew unconsciously past the figure.

Boom!

Starfire slammed into the next building. The starbolt she had been charging up disappeared from her hands, and she fell back onto the rooftop of the building they were on.

The figure turned around to run again.

The view showed Robin appear between the figure and the next higher rooftop. "Not so fast," Robin said as calmly as he could. He extended his Bo-Staff in front of him.

The figure chuckled. "Do you really think you're going to beat me?" She asked.

Robin spinned his Bo-Staff over his head. "I predict you're going to be done right here." He promised.

The figure took her two katanas from their sheathes. She swung them around expertly in her hands.

"Not quite." She replied. She then gestured with one of her hands for Robin to 'come thither'.

Robin charged forward.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

A loud clang sound came each time the figure's katanas met with Robin's steel Bo-Staff. The katanas left little grooves in the Bo-Staff each time they hit against it.

Robin found himself going from the offensive to the defensive within seconds. The figure not only effectively cut his offensive short, but got past his guard.

Slash!

A gash appeared on one of Robin's arms. He gritted his teeth and tried to focus on recovering his offensive advantage.

Clang! Slash! Clang! Clang! Slash!

Though, to be honest, the figure was whooping his butt now. Despite all his training, Robin was getting beat by this unknown figure wearing a look-a-like mask of Slade's.

More gashes, some small, some bigger, appeared on his arms and legs. Robin's calmness had started to disappear with each gash. And a familiar anger started to take hold as he tried to gain some advantage again in the fight.

Slash!

And then he got one small mockery gash on his face. "What are you going to do about that Bird Boy?" The figure asked mockingly.

Robin angrily brought his Bo-Staff down.

CLANG!

Robin's Bo-Staff locked with the figure's two katanas. Her katanas were in a V-shape, keeping the Bo-Staff from going down any farther. He bore down with all the strength that he could.

"Who are you?!" Robin yelled angrily.

The figure locked eyes with him. They were familiar and cold.

"Daddy's little girl." She answered.

Pow!

The view showed her kick him back hard. Robin flew back in surprise over the edge of the roof. The Bo-Staff flew away from his hands, and he quickly grabbed his grappling hook shooter from his belt.

Phew! Whiff! Whiff!

Robin fired his grappling hook up. Then his fall came to an abrupt halt, and he flew forward up into the air again. His Bo-Staff fell to the ground below.

The view showed Robin coming up over the edge of the roof. He landed on his feet and looked around.

The figure was long gone…

His hands clenched into fists as the scene around him faded.
