The view showed the Titan's faces again. It was moving from the left to the right from Titan to Titan.
Robin was speechless. Starfire looked puzzled. Cyborg's jaw was hanging. Adam was just confused about what was going on. And Raven's bland appearance didn't hide the surprise in her eyes.
The view finally settled on Beast Boy. He looked taken aback. "You mean, that girl we faced last night was your daughter!?"
"Don't you see the family resemblance?" Slade said humorlessly as he raised his other arm to gesture at himself.
"Okay! Who the fetch would be crazy enough to want to have a kid with Slade Wilson!?" Cyborg cut in.
Slade chuckled. "Now that is an interesting question."
"I think that's one I'd prefer not having an answer to," Raven said dryly.
"I wouldn't give an answer even if I had one, my dear. I honestly have no idea what convinced the woman to want to have kids with me in the first place. They've mainly been nothing but trouble-" Slade was saying.
"Whoa, wait! Why did you say they!? Are we talking about more than one kid here?!" Adam pointed out.
"… Oops. Did I say that out loud?" Slade asked in a still humorless voice. As if he had meant to drop that tidbit.
Slam!
Robin slammed his fist on the console. "I don't care if he's had two kids or a hundred! If this criminal we're facing is your daughter, then why are you calling us for help!?" Robin angrily asked.
Slade's eye hardened. "Do I really need to explain that Mr. Second Greatest Detective in the World?" Slade asked mockingly, as he lifted his other arm up from his side.
The Titans gasped.
The view zoomed in on Slade's side. The armor had been taken from there, and a white bandage with a large amount of red on it was shown.
…
There was at last a long silence, as the Titans took it in.
"Listen well, Titans. As you can see, my daughter is very dangerous. She was even able to best me. A feat you know all too well to be difficult to accomplish.
"But what she is planning next will be catastrophic to all of us. All of my planning for our next set of encounters will be for naught.
"So, unless you don't want to even stand a chance in the coming months, I'd suggest you pay attention to what I have to tell you," Slade said.
…
The Titans all looked at each other.
"Catastrophic?" Cyborg asked.
"It can't be that bad… can it?" Beast Boy asked.
…
The Titans looked back to Slade.
"We're listening," Robin said.
Slade nodded. "I am unaware of all the details of her plan… and I am in no shape to fight… but I can tell you what you need to know to defeat her yourselves," Slade said dryly…
The scene showed the sun in the evening sky. Slade's voice sounded in the background.
"My daughter, Rose, is one of the best assassins I've ever trained."
A large green eagle appeared in the sky. The view moved up close to it. It was looking down at the ground far below.
The view shifted to show what the eagle was seeing. People moved along the streets in the rush hour traffic. Signs sparking to life with the coming of night.
"She is skilled at hand-to-hand, dual-wielding katanas, and possesses various other experimental gadgets of mine that she uses in combat."
Adam appeared in the crowd of people. He looked around himself, looking for anything suspicious. Finding none, he continued on.
"She is more than capable of holding her own against any hero. I dare to say she might even be able to stand up against the weaker members of the Justice League should she have to."
Raven appeared from a dark portal in an alleyway. She looked up and down the alleyway. Then she disappeared into another dark portal.
"Fast..."
The view showed Cyborg driving along in his T-Car.
"Fierce..."
The view showed Starfire flying through the air between skyscrapers.
"Ruthless..."
The view moved to Adam again as he walked towards the City Square. A shadowy figure appeared in the crowd behind him, following along with him.
"And lethal..."
The view showed Robin riding along on his R-Cycle. He took a hard right and disappeared down another street.
"Her only weakness is her reliance on the gift of foresight that she possesses. She'll never engage in a fight unless she has all the details down."
"Is that how she took us all down before?" Beast Boy's voice asked in the background.
"Precisely. At times, she can see far into the future. But during combat, she is capable of seeing what her opponents will be doing in the next few seconds."
The view showed Raven again. She opened her Comm, and read something on it. She immediately opened a dark portal in the air and disappeared.
"The trick is to keep any combat encounters with her at random. To introduce elements she won't have time to account for. Or change your movesets and combat styles so her predictions will be unable to keep up."
The view showed the City Square. Throngs of people moved around everywhere. Adam began walking through a space between two such crowds.
"You have until sundown before she gets her scheme in place and she attempts to take down the last loose end she's seen to her plan."
The green eagle spotted a familiar figure down below. It dove down through the air.
"Or you can tell your city..."
Cyborg's console beeped, and a route appeared on the GPS. Cyborg immediately pulled the throttle down and gunned it down a side street.
"Your citizens..."
Robin's R-Cycle beeped up at him. And a series of routes appeared in the City Square.
Kkkkkkk!
Robin immediately screeched his bike to a stop and turned around. He sped off towards the coming battle.
"Your home..."
Adam stopped. He looked down at his hands. It was almost as if he could sense something coming.
His sword immediately appeared, and he turned around.
Kch!
Adam's sword locked with Rose's katana.
"Goodbye." Slade's voice finished.
"Hello there, loose end," Rose said dryly. Her hand reached behind her back.
Whish!
The view showed Adam jumping back just in time to avoid getting sliced by Rose's second katana. Adam's shield then appeared on his other arm. He looked down at her belt.
"Huh, I can't believe I was lucky enough to be considered the loose end to some grand plan of yours," Adam replied with a grimace.
"Oh? Did Daddy actually rat me out? I wasn't sure if he'd do that or not. But then, the man has grown senile in his old age." Rose mentioned offhandedly.
Adam's grimace turned into a glare. "Where did you take that cube? That was my trophy!"
"It's where it needs to be for now," Rose said before she smiled under her mask. "I just foresee one more loose end to deal with before the future I have foreseen is set in stone," Rose said evilly before she charged forward to strike Adam down.
Ksch! Ksch! Ksch!
Rose immediately dove to the side. Avoiding the line of green starbolts that hit the ground in front of her.
"Well, unfortunately for you, we were able to guess what your next move would be." Adam shrugged. "Didn't even need the gift of foresight to guess what you were going to do next."
Starfire appeared in the air. "You will not be doing the hurting of any of my friends!" Starfire said, as her eyes glowed a bright green.
Kschhhhhh!
Rose ran across the line of eyebeams, barely avoiding the lengthy attack. "They're coming sooner than I thought." She said in a low voice.
Pow!
Rose was then launched back into the air. She landed on her hands and knees. A truck encased in black landed lightly on the ground.
Raven appeared next to it. "You didn't see that coming either. Did you?" Raven asked with a smirk.
Rose growled and got back up. "You witch!" She yelled angrily. She charged forward again.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Again, Rose had to dive out of the way as explosions rocked the ground in front of her. The T-Car and R-Cycle both came into the view. Robin's lasers were out, and Cyborg's sonic cannon was pointed out of the window.
"Woohoo! Let's get the Slade brat!" Cyborg cheered.
Rose growled and sheathed one of her katanas. She grabbed something from her belt when a shadow appeared overhead. She looked up, and then her eyes widened.
"Scree!"
"Augh!"
The large green eagle's talons sliced at Rose's cloth face mask. It didn't even stand a chance and was torn away. The eagle flew over to the Titans, where it morphed into Beast Boy.
The view showed Rose Wilson. Her face, which was now visible, had scratches running along it, and her lip was bleeding.
Besides that, she kind of looked pretty good for being Slade's daughter.
She did, however, look very, very angry at that moment.
"Ha! I'm betting she saw none of that coming dudes." Beast Boy said proudly.
Rose was still angry. But then she held up a device in her free hand. "Not quite." She growled out.
Kzzztttt!
A hidden shock collar she'd slipped onto Beast Boy's neck when he attacked as an eagle activated. "Ahhhhhh!" Beast Boy screamed in pain.
He then fell to the ground and then passed out.
"Gar!" Raven yelled. Then she looked in anger at Rose. "You'll pay for that!" Raven said calmly, yet with anger in her tone.
She flew forward through the air, using her powers to pick up another truck parked nearby. She swung it at Rose.
Rose ducked the projectile, and then she threw another pyramid-shaped object at Raven from her belt.
Kzzzttt!
Raven's body was engulfed in electricity. And then she too fell to the ground unconscious behind Rose. Rose took out her second katana again.
"Who wants to dance with me next?" Rose asked.
"Titans, go!" Robin ordered.
The other Titans charged then.
Rose ducked under a punch from Cyborg and went to slice at his chest plate.
Kch!
Adam's sword stopped her katana. Then before Rose could retaliate, he jumped back out of range.
Clang!
Robin swung down in Adam's place, and his Bo-Staff connected with Rose's katana again. Hitting it to the side.
Rose immediately moved her other katana to retaliate against Robin.
Pow!
Starfire came in from the side and punched Rose away from Robin. She slid a few feet away, but the hit had obviously caused her some pain as she held her arm close.
"Dang it, just go down already," Rose said in frustration.
Cyborg smirked, and he drew his second sonic cannon out. "We're not going down until you're down man!" Cyborg said.
Ksch! Ksch!
Rose smirked. "Famous last words."
Sssssss!
A ball of smoke came out of her belt, which engulfed Rose. The sonic beams hit the smoke, but they didn't hit her. Cyborg stepped back in confusion.
"Wait, what the-" He started to say.
Kssss!
Cyborg suddenly fell to his knees and powered down. Rose jumped off his back, which had one of her katanas sticking out of Cyborg's power supply. She faced the other three shocked Titans.
"Who's next?" She asked.
"You monster!" Starfire screeched. She flew angrily forward through the air.
Rose through a small ball through the air at Starfire.
Kchchch!
A large ball of blue foam engulfed Starfire's body. She tried to move, but it was like the stuff Red X used. It kept her pinned down to the ground.
"Relax honey, he's not dead," Rose said as she pulled the katana out of Cyborg's back. "I only moved his power core out of its slot. If it isn't put back in place in the next twenty minutes, then it'll be a different story." Rose said simply.
Robin growled and swung his Bo-Staff at his side. Adam also swung his sword in his hand. "I guess we'll fix that after we take you down in five," Robin said. "You ready, Adam?"
"Not like I have much of a choice here! Unless you called in Titan's South or Titan's North for aid!"
"They wouldn't have had time to get here anyway." Rose made a 'come thither' gesture to the two remaining Titans.
The two of them charged forward.
Kch! Clang! Clang! Kth! Kch!
Adam and Robin both worked together in trying to take down Rose. Yet Rose was doing really great at defending herself from their strikes.
Adam swung his sword down, striking against one of Rose's katanas. Then she moved her other katana, blocking Robin's Bo-Staff. She pushed Adam's sword back and tried to strike at Robin, who barely defended himself. Then she immediately switched to bringing both katanas down on Adam, who used both his sword and shield to defend himself. Adam then kicked out at Rose, who jumped back to dodge it.
The fight continued from there.
Robin and Adam continued to try and get past her guard. But nothing was working. No matter what they tried, it was like Rose already knew what they were going to do.
"Dang, I wish I had the gift of foresight instead of my stupid abilities!" Adam yelled angrily. He tried a risky move in getting past Rose's guard while she was focused on Robin.
Pow!
Rose's surprise roundhouse kicked Adam back into the air. He landed groaning a ways away. And then she focused back on Robin.
Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!
It was like a maelstrom between them. As Robin defended himself from strike after strike after strike. Yet Rose was bearing down hard, and by the look on her face, she was not intent on losing to him right now.
Robin raised his Bo-Staff to block a strike to his chest.
Slash!
"Augh!" Robin screamed in pain, as his right knee buckled. A long slash ran along his right thigh.
Pow!
Robin fell back onto the ground as Rose punched him in the face.
Ksch!
Rose sunk one of her katanas into Robin's cape. Pinning him down to the ground. "Now with you out of the way." She said.
Adam appeared in the view behind her, swinging his sword down.
Slash!
"Urgh!" Adam held a gash that appeared on his arm.
"You're not nearly as skilled as your leader." Rose continued to bear down with only one katana.
Adam became focused entirely on defense. Yet it only took a few seconds for the trained assassin to overpower him.
Pow!
Her next kick sent him flying backward. His sword and shield disappeared from his hands as he landed painfully on his back again.
"It's time to finish my business!" Rose screamed.
The view showed Robin struggling to pull Rose's katana out of the ground. He wouldn't be able to stop what was coming in time though. And the other Titans were either trapped or otherwise knocked out.
Rose smiled evilly, and almost insanely, as she jumped into the air. Her katana was high above her head in victory, as she came to bring it down on Adam's prone form.
"One last thing," Slade's voice said in the background.
"My daughter stops relying on her foresight the moment she's sure she'll succeed."
"That is when she'll be her most vulnerable."
As Adam looked up at the villain flying forward to kill him, he smirked. "That old man was right after all."
He pulled out a device from a pocket in his pants.
It looked like a miniature sonic cannon.
Rose's eyes widened in surprise.
Ksch!
A miniature, focused sonic beam slammed perfectly into Rose's chest. She flew back through the air.
Boom.
She landed hard on the ground and groaned in pain. There was a hole in the middle of her chest armor where the beam had hit. She struggled to get back up.
Adam coughed as he forced himself to one knee. "Heh, Cyborg, your idea worked like a charm. Way to go you pile of bolts."
Cyborg grimaced as his features lit up again. His backup reserves had just been activated, and he managed to give Adam a thumbs up. "No problem, man. Let's just hope Rob is capable of finishing the job for us."
"Don't worry, I'm prepared to go all out now," Robin stated.
The view showed him standing tall, and Rose's katana was gripped in one of his hands.
He proceeded to throw it to Adam, who caught it by the hilt. "Hang on to that while I finish her off!" Robin ordered.
"Yes, sir!" Adam saluted.
Robin then darted at Rose with his Bo-Staff fully extended again.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Rose was immediately on the defensive. She was still struggling to come back from the pain in her chest. But Robin wasn't giving an inch. He swung his Bo-Staff as if his very life depended on it.
"You… think you still stand a chance against me-"
Clang! Clang! Pow!
Rose's eyes widened as Robin's bo-staff changed trajectory mid-strike, slamming into her left arm hard enough to leave a bruise.
Clang! Clang! Pow! Clang! Pow!
The duel continued, and it became apparent in which direction the momentum had shifted.
The view shifted to Rose's perspective. She was seeing seconds into the future while countering Robin's strikes in the present. Robin's future self would separate in a haze from his present self, revealing where his next attack would be.
Yet, as she moved to strike at the opening the future showed her, Robin defied the future's expectations and his present self's attack changed. Either countering her strike or hitting her body where she'd left herself open.
His fighting form kept on changing. His attacks kept on becoming more and more unpredictable as the future Robin she was studying became hazier and hazier in her vision.
The view showed Rose's face again. She was scowling openly in frustration now as she faced the Titan's leader.
Gone was the reserved, disciplined Robin. Now, his style was completely unorthodox. He had no intent on either offense or defense. It all seemed like one major ploy in getting Rose off her feet.
She desperately tried to get through the pain, and slice at Robin. Robin raised his Bo-Staff up.
Ksh!
The katana split the Bo-Staff in two. "Ha, with your weapon useless, I'll-"
Robin twirled the two pieces in his hands and brought them both forward.
Pow! Pow!
Robin's Bo-Staff pieces, acting as Escrima Sticks, slammed hard into Rose's gut. Rose's words were cut off as she lost her breath and struggled for air.
"As I promised," Robin twirled the two weapons in his hands. "I'm going all out now."
He then raced forward and began to attack anew.
Clang! Pow! Clang! Pow! Pow!
Robin proceeded to hit Rose hard on her arms. Legs. Head, and whatever else he could hit as Rose struggled to protect herself. Rose was staggering trying to stay upright.
The view showed from Rose's perspective as she tried to fight this version of Robin. Yet now, her eyes had widened with panic.
"This, this isn't possible! It's supposed to be several more years before you're capable of fighting like this!"
She wasn't seeing Robin in front of her anymore. Rather, she instead saw a taller, buffer version of him. Dressed in an outfit of black and blue. The Escrima Sticks he was holding in his hands weren't glowing blue with the energy of tasers, but he weaved around in a flurry of attacks just as well with his face expressing a calm fury that he carried with himself into battle.
In all the times she foresaw herself facing Robin, she always won. She always came out on top in every, single battle. There was nothing he could do to beat her on his own.
But… this version… she could never beat him. No matter what future she foresaw, no matter what weapons she brought to the fight or what villains she used to try and wear him down.
When Robin became Nightwing, no version of herself was ever capable of beating him in battle. Not even once.
Rose's scowl deepened as her eyes gained a glint of insanity. "No, I won't let you-!"
Pow!
The view showed from the side as one of Robin's weapons slammed into the side of her head.
Pow!
The view then showed Rose's chest plate shatter as Robin landed a particularly heavy strike on her shoulder.
The view then showed Robin bringing his two soon-to-be-famous Escrima Sticks back. "Yahhhhhh!" He yelled as he swung up.
KA-POW!
The last large hit sent Rose flying back into the side of a car.
Kch!
Her remaining katana sank into the concrete as her body settled against the ground.
The view showed Robin breathing heavily, but a smile was on his face.
"H… How?" Rose muttered weakly. "You're not… you're not him yet."
"He might not be at that point in his life yet." Starfire, still trapped in the foam from earlier, spoke up then. "But boyfriend Robin has been working towards his goal every day. By training, by preparing.
"He won't turn into boyfriend Nightwing overnight." Starfire glared at the white-haired girl. "But he is not the same Robin who originally brought the Teen Titans together!
"You have clearly done the underestimating of us, Rose Wilson."
The girl groaned and tried to struggle forward to her katana. "Save your preaching. I, I will win, no matter-"
Just as she gripped the hilt, Robin's boot planted itself firmly on her blade. Keeping it down on the ground. He pointed one of Escrima Sticks down at her, forcing her to look up.
"You're done," Robin said firmly. "Give up, and maybe I'll make sure your prison cell is a comfortable one."
…
…
…
"Heheh." At first, it was a chuckle.
…
"Hahaha." Then it was a laugh.
…
"Ahahahahaha!" Then it turned maniacal.
Rose stood up off the ground. Robin still had one of his Escrima Sticks pointed at the insane girl.
"It's not done until I say it's done, BIRD BRAT!" Rose screamed before she pulled out a device with a button on the end of it from her belt. She held it up in victory.
Robin put a hand to his belt, just in case she tried to unleash some new kind of attack against them.
"One click from this, and your whole freaking Tower will blow up into many tiny pieces!" Rose then said in an insane tone.
The view showed Robin taking a step back in surprise. "H-Huh?! How did you-" Cyborg started to say.
"You fools were all asleep! It was just too easy!
"I didn't foresee you beating me here! But it's not as if I base all my actions without some kind of contingency!
"Victory is all mine! You lose! Aha! AHAHAHAHA-"
POW!
A steel shield slammed into Rose's face, cutting her laugh off.
She fell backward onto the ground, the device fell harmlessly from her unconscious hand.
The shield rolled around, settling on the ground next to her before it disappeared.
…
Robin looked to where the shield had come from. Adam was standing in his spot and holding his hurt arm. Robin raised his eyebrow.
"What?" Adam shrugged. "I didn't think she was going to see that coming. Who the hell attacks with a shield these days?" Adam defended himself.
…
Robin shook his head, as he picked up the device next to Rose. He also pulled a pair of handcuffs from his belt. "Sometimes, I really worry for you," Robin said as he handcuffed the unconscious Rose Wilson.
Adam smirked. "Somebody has to." He then grimaced as he held his arm close again. "How soon until Raven's able to heal our wounds again?"
"I don't know, but can one of you fix my power core already?!" Cyborg asked angrily.
"Yeah yeah, just show me how to open your back and I'll get started." Adam rolled his eyes.
"Aw hell nah! I'm not trusting you with that kind of info! Who knows what pranks you and BB could pull on me then!"
"Make up your mind Rust Bucket!"
"Excuse me, but could somebody do the freeing of me, please? This isn't very comfortable for me." Starfire said.
Cyborg and Adam continued to argue with each other as the scene faded to black…
The view showed a police van. Rose Wilson was sitting handcuffed in the back of it.
Slam!
The cop slammed the door shut. And waved to the officer driving the van. The driver pushed down on the gas and sped away down the street.
"Evil, is like an interchangeable monster." Robin's voice sounded in the background.
The view showed the Titans watching silently after the van. They looked at each other, nodded, and started to walk/limp/float away from the scene.
"Always evolving… always changing..."
The view showed the bottom of the T-Tower. Cyborg was pulling metal plating off the bottom, showing line after line of explosives. Starfire pulled each one out and set them in a growing pile behind them.
Raven was to the side, healing Adam, Robin, and Beast Boy of their injuries. Beast Boy tried to raise his hand to stop her from doing him when she simply glared at him. He got smart again and allowed her to heal him.
"Yet it always has the same goal. Fighting against everything good in the world and inflicting suffering on others."
"Whether directly, or indirectly."
The view showed the inside of the H.I.V.E. base. The villains were all gathered at their control desk. The screen up above showed an armored truck loaded with cash, making its way through Jump City to one of the banks.
The villains all looked at each other, smiled evilly, and then turned to run out of the room. Only to be met with a surprising sight.
A pile of explosives was on the ground.
Boom!
"That's why we're here though."
The view showed the inside of the room as one large mess. Gizmo's backpack was shorting out, Cyclops couldn't see, Mammoth was coughing heavily, Kyd Wckked was knocked out, and Billy was flat-out confused at what was happening.
Kyd Wckked disappeared into a dark black portal.
Mammoth was grabbed from behind by two large bear paws and dragged out of sight.
Billy was knocked out by an orange fist.
Cyclops found himself handcuffed.
Gizmo was lifted pathetically into the air by a steel hand. He shouted profanities that weren't written down as he realized it was Cyborg holding him up by the collar of his shirt.
The smoke cleared, showing the triumphant Titans.
"While evil is evolving, we're evolving too!"
The view showed a bank in the city. Adonis came running out of it with two large bags of money on his back. He looked to be laughing.
"Wherever evil rises, we'll take a stand to meet it."
Then a large black portal opened up in front of him. And he ran straight into it…
Pow!
The view showed Adonis run into the side of a prison cell, without his suit, or the cash. The portal closed behind him, trapping him in the prison cell next to the H.I.V.E. Five.
"Evil will never stop."
The view showed Cinderblock rampaging through downtown. He brought his fists down on the ground, smashing a semi beneath him.
People ran away screaming.
"And neither will we!"
A series of star bolts rained down on Cinderblock from above. He lifted his arm up, trying to see through the wave of green coming down at him.
Then a large green elephant slammed into him. Sending Cinderblock flying back down the road.
The other Titans appeared around the elephant. All of them ready for a fight. They all ran/flew together with one accord.
The people around cheered.
"So bring it on world."
The view showed the inside of the Common Room. The Titans were all getting situated on the couch with their various snacks.
Starfire cuddled up next to Robin, who smiled widely over his bowl of popcorn.
Adam and Cyborg sat on one end. Each of them held various bowls of popcorn, chips, dips, and other favorite snacks. They were also arguing over which movie it was they should watch that night.
Raven and Beast Boy sat down at the other end. Raven had a book on hand in case the movie chosen was boring. And Beast Boy also had an assortment of snacks on the side. He used one of his hands though to hold onto one of Raven's.
Raven had a small almost there smile on her face.
The Titans were all happy to finally relax with each other.
"The Teen Titans are ready."
The view showed from the screen. Adam quickly ran back to his seat after popping the movie in, and all the Titans looked expectantly at the screen.
Robin raised the remote in his hand.
Click!
The view went black.

The view came back into focus. It showed the inside of a dark, lonely prison cell. Moonlight streamed in from one of the windows, landing on the white locks of the lone prisoner inside.
Rose Wilson sat down on her bunk, dressed in an orange prison uniform. Her long white locks rested on her shoulders. Her hands were shackled to the ground in front of her. Dried blood rested on her skin from the various closed wounds Robin had inflicted on her.
She stayed looking down at her shackles without an expression on her face…
…
The view showed a security guard walking by her cell on patrol. He had his laser rifle primed, and he looked pristine. Ready for anyone who might try to escape.
He walked out of sight…
…
Thump.
Rose didn't look up at the sound of someone falling unconscious to the ground. Nor did she look up as several figures approached the cell door.
Thckckck!
Two of them slid the door to the side. Then stood at attention outside of the cell door. The third figure walked silently between them into the room.
He was tall, but the shadows of the cell obscured the rest of his identity.
Rose finally looked up. She had a smile on her face. "I foresaw you arriving several minutes earlier. You really have lost your touch if it took you this long."
"..." The figure didn't respond at first. He merely held his hands behind his back as Rose's proud smile turned into a scowl.
His face was obscured by shadow. But it was easy to tell he was disappointed in her.
…
"Did everything work out the way I planned it, my dear Rose?" A baritone voice finally came from the figure.
"... Yes." Rose finally dropped her head in submission. "The Substance's CPU is now in place… father. It appears I'll have to go along with your plan after all, as it will now be our best chance at survival."
Thunk!
The shackles fell off her wrists onto the ground below. The figure drew closer.
"And what about the mysterious new Titan? Is he ready for the challenges ahead?" He asked curiously.
…
Rose's scowl turned back into a small smile. "He's still green compared to his leader… but I foresee him being a valuable asset going forward," Rose answered. "He certainly was capable of surprising my gift of foresight, just like Robin… perhaps he'll be capable of surprising our enemy's gift of foresight in the end as well.
"I shall take some time to ponder on that future and see if such a thing is possible now or not."
…
The figure walked up close. The moonlight from the cell window finally fell onto Slade's orange and steel mask. "Good… Everything is now in place then. At last, we can proceed." He said.
Slade looked directly from his daughter to the viewer's eyes.
"Now… are you ready?"
The scene faded to black…
End of Season Six, Episode Eleven: The Rose Connection
Author's Notes:
Hey, do you remember the cover I chose for this story? That thing that's been up there in the corner. Yeah, that was on purpose. And overall, I'm very happy with how this Episode turned out.
I thought I'd post the rest of this Episode now since I'm going to be sucked into Hogwarts Legacy for a few days at least. I cannot tell you how long I've been waiting for an open-world Harry Potter Game (I read the entire book series fifteen years ago and played all the Harry Potter games based on those books) and honestly, even if J.K. Rowling gets royalties from it (which I can understand as both a business student and a long-time writer) I want to throw my support behind those designers and developers who spent the last five years of their lives working meticulously to bring this game to life. I want gaming companies to understand this is what we want when they eventually release projects like the Star Wars open world game in the future.
Lastly, on that particular subject, don't respond to hate with hate. I know all too well now how that cycle works out. And if I'm being honest, there are a lot of things I've said in the past that, particularly to others in this fandom, I'd change because of how I responded to something I was offended by or attacked with. So seriously, don't fall into this trap, and if you are then dig yourself out before it's too late. A life of hatred is not worth living, and hatred will never bridge understanding and allow someone else the opportunity to genuinely change.
Now, with that out of the way, there's two more Episodes to go… here we go!
Till Next Time
