Sarah and Hoggle watched her younger brother pace the living room after they had finished the story. Figuring he needed to process the whole thing she stayed put in hallway. Toby was silent for the whole time with only his eyes giving any emotion. That was frightening to her not knowing how he truly felt about it all. To lose the closeness to her brother felt unbearable. She started to grip her shirt. A panic attack was about to start and that definitely not help anything now. Her brother though really opinionated loved her and was an amazing uncle too. He was there the moment he knew all the bad news. He slept down on the couch that night and for a couple weeks later. He played with Sally when Sarah couldn't handle being mom. Couldn't handle much for a couple weeks and Toby was there. No, she couldn't lose her brother at all.

Her breathing began to shorten, and her vision started to blur. Sarah felt more panic flood her body. She was terrified. She held tighter to her shirt on her chest as the attack took over. Leaning on the wall she felt her body slink down the wall. Her name was being called by Hoggle and Sarah tried to call out to him to say it would be okay, but she couldn't, she couldn't say anything. The last thing she could see was her brother running to her and reaching out to her.

"Hey there Darling. Come here and check out what I built you in the backyard." Her husband ushered her into the backyard. The spring air was sweet smelling and with only a slight chill to the air. The backyard had gone from a barren land to a sweet hideaway that gave the secret Garden a run for its money. Her pregnant body waddle from side to side but she was eager to see what he had done. He saw that she was rushing so he ran to her and placed his arm around to help her slow down and take it easy. "I am excited for you to see this but not that excited for you or the baby to get hurt." He smiled at her and placed a small kiss on her forehead.

After a few steps around one of the bigger bushes she saw a beautiful swing. Large decorated wooden posts held it all up. He had carved vines to go up and down each post and the cross beam. She swore every small detail was thought of. Even on the wooden seat on the front edge was both their names and their wedding date. Guiding her to the seat he helped her on and began to push her. The days before the baby were sweet and filled with love and the years after Sally birth have been filled with joy and hope till…

"Sarah! Please wake up."

Sarah felt her shoulder shaking and her head wobble with each shake. She wasn't on her swing but in her hallway with her brother hovering over her.

"Sarah it's okay. "Once again Toby started to shake her. For extra measure he blew in her face. "Sarah you are safe."

She reached out her hand and covered her brother's hand. "I'm sorry." Flickering her eyes open she focused on his face as best as she could. "I got so scared. I couldn't handle it. Dang it I can't seem to handle anything anymore."

"That is not true sis." He motioned for the couch and straightened himself out to help her up. Hoggle stayed back but followed them to the living room. "I really don't know how you are doing all of this. I know it isn't easy. I know it isn't easy to hear but you are a widow and a mom to a young child. That is a lot right there. And you are rockin' it, the best you can. That is a lot to carry. And I wasn't mad. I was trying to let it sink in."

Settling into the couch she motioned for Hoggle to sit on one side and her brother on the other side.

"Promise?"

"Promise. Besides you won! How cool is that! Really cool I tell you. "He kicked off his shoes and placed his feet on the coffee table. "To tell you the truth I had seen many things over the years, and I just talked myself out of believing what I was seeing. Like I thought the stories were just playing with my mind. Nope come to find out it was all true and my sister is the dang champion of it all. I must be famous by proxy, right Hoggle?"

Toby flashed a smile to him and waited to hear that he had to be famous…. Somehow.

"Well not like that no. You are well known because Jareth really thought he found his successor. You were going to be the prince." Hoggle had his hands in his lap, but he fidgeted with his thumbs by twirling them.

"Like be the King one day?"

"Yeah."

"No shit."

"Toby!" Sarah reached over to him and gently tapped his knee, "language."

"Hey Sally isn't here and I just found out I lost out to being a king!" He laughed but the idea wasn't to bad.

"Sure, the King of Goblins. Do you think you really could handle that?"

Toby reclined as deep as he could in the couch and shook his head no.

"Really it just sounded cool."

Sarah giggled. It would be such a wild idea if her brother was supposed to be the next King.

"The thing is that's a reason why I am here. I know you called me, but I will use it to tell you as much as I can. I believe you even after all this time can make a difference in Jareth's world. For him."

Sarah and Toby both shifted in their seats to look and give their full attention to Hoggle.

"What happened?" Sarah could feel her heart start to pound. Knowing that she was already faint she held onto her brother's hand. She was strong and she wanted to give her best even if it meant having help along the way. She will get it done.

"His family for hundreds of years have been slowly picked off by War or aftermath of war. In the Underworld the Fae have always fought to get land or power. Jareths parents and siblings were the same as any Fae. Willing to protect what they thought was theirs at any cost. Jareth went from four siblings to none and now no parents." Hoggle took a breath and tried to really think about what he wanted to say. "For his family he is all that is left. There are many other Faes and they know the laws of the land. Jareth is running out of time. He needs someone to take over so he can take over the whole their lands."

"Hoggle, I thought that you didn't like him?" Sarah's question was legit. He had many times in the past talked about his disdain for Jareth and his Kingly ways.

"I know and sure there are things I don't like about his past. I really didn't like a lot of stuff he did and how did went about stuff, but time has changed him, and he always has been a different kind of Fae. I have to say I am lucky he is my king. At least my king learned to be a better fae. He really has become a better king. But he is lost in his own mind. He is so lonely."

"How is his Loneliness a big deal? I don't want to downplay loneliness, but I am not sure how it is keeping him from dealing with his very large problem of others wanting to take over."

"Fae are very interesting types ranging in power and abilities. Jareth's family was one of the strongest and Jareth himself is one of the most powerful in his family. Some say even one of the strongest faes ever. But …"

"But what? He is powerful why not take them all out or just something like that. I have no clue." Toby was curious how a powerful being could be seen as not capable of running his kingdoms.

"His power is directly connected to his emotions to his soul. I would say that after losing his parents to an ambush he has not been the same. His sibling's death took a toll on him as well. He has no one now." Hoggle tried to think of more to say but he only could tell them that all that he knew. His mind told him the problem was more complicated than he could think of.

Sarah bit her lip. Confused was only just part of what she felt.

"Hoggle, are you saying I need to make him love me? That sounds horrible."

"Oh, for goblin's sake, no. I like my king and maybe even love him at times, but no way will I say you should be with him. But to have someone who is brave, and a champion could help him tremendously."

"A lot like what you did for me Sarah. I feel like I can do a lot of things because you have my back. I know you do. That makes a huge difference to me." Toby patted his sister's head and smile ridiculously at her.

Sarah chuckled at him, "I get it. After he passed having you here helped me. I didn't know I needed it, but it helped me so much." With her words leaving her mouth she knew she needed to at least try and contact Jareth.

"Hoggle how do I get to him?"
