The view showed the Tower in the middle of the bay. The sun was barely up in the pretty early morning sky…
The scene changed, showing Adam standing next to the windows. He was looking out over the bay. He had a look of contemplation on his face.
"What're you doing?" A bland voice asked behind him.
Adam turned his head. The view showed Raven walking up to the windows next to him.
"Me, what are you doing? It's like 6:00 A.M." Adam said.
"I'm normally up here to meditate at this time," Raven responded blandly. "
"Oh..." Adam said.
"And if I remember correctly, you're supposed to be the one that values sleep as much as Garfield." Raven continued. "So I find it odd that you're the one awake right now."
…
There was silence for a moment.
"I didn't sleep well last night," Adam finally admitted.
"I think none of us slept well after what happened," Raven said sarcastically.
Adam chuckled. "Yeah, maybe..."

The pair went silent again.
…
Raven settled into a meditative pose in the air. Adam continued to stare silently out the window as the sun slowly rose in the morning sky.
It almost looked like he was practicing a form of meditation. Only, his leg kept fidgeting, and if it wasn't his leg it was his hands.

When the view showed the sun higher in the sky, as well as the distant bustling of morning traffic on the bridge in the distance, Adam finally spoke again.
"Is it just me, or is the number of villains showing up been dropping lately?"
Raven's feet settled on the ground as she looked blandly at him. "I've noticed, but I don't think the number of alerts we handle has dropped that much."
"... I know the amount of alerts hasn't dropped. We've been up sometimes around the clock dealing with those. I'm asking about the villains we've captured up to this point. How many of them have we seen again?" Adam clarified.

Raven raised an eyebrow at him. "I'm not sure I follow your meaning."
Adam groaned. "Look, I... talked to someone about it last night. And he said that the prisons have confirmed that a lot of the baddies we've caught since I got here have already been let out.
"The problem is, almost all of them haven't resurfaced anywhere. It's like they've disappeared." Adam said.

Raven didn't speak for a moment. She looked to be thinking about it. "Maybe they're turning over a new leaf. Or, more likely, it's because they're setting up shop somewhere else where the Titans aren't," Raven suggested.
"That's what I was thinking. But yesterday, two clones of Killer Frost brought down our ship." Adam continued.

Raven looked at Adam, now she was confused. "Didn't you or any of the others see them?" Adam asked.
"I think each of us was too busy trying to keep the ship from getting blasted to pieces by that point," Raven responded blandly. "Besides Beast Boy, that is. But then, he thought it was Mr. Freeze..."

Raven's eyes briefly widened as the implication of Adam's words finally became clear. "If you think about it, Kitten told us her Father and her ex-boyfriend had both gone missing despite being released." Adam then said.
"Are you saying whoever is targeting Heroes might be targeting villains too?" Raven asked.
"I... I don't know. I wanted to run it by Robin, but he wasn't in his room..."

Raven's face went blank. "Why are you bringing this up to me then?" She asked.
Adam looked back out the window again. Two distinct dots were now clearly seen in the distance over the bay. "Because I'm afraid that we might be way in over our heads with this one.
"And... I'm honestly scared about what could happen next if it's more than just a few Titans that've gone missing."

Thmmm.
The view showed the doors to the living room open behind the pair, and Cyborg and Beast Boy came charging in together.
"I'm preparing hamburgers for everyone!" Cyborg yelled.
"No, I'm preparing vegan patties!" Beast Boy yelled back.
"Hamburgers!"
"Vegan Patties!"
"Hamburgers!"
"Over my dead body!"
The view showed the two became lost in an anime kerscuffle cloud in front of the stove.
Despite not having anything on it, the stove comically caught fire just like in previous instances.
A small smile formed on Raven's face at the sight. "I think, this might be an instance where I'm fine with their antics."
Adam laughed. "Better this than being scared." He charged toward the two. "I've always wanted to try hamburgers for breakfast!"
"Ha, see, even Adam thinks-" Cyborg's voice came out of the anime cloud of dust.
"Nuh-uh! I say we're having vegan patties!" A green tentacle lashed around Adam, dragging him into the fight.
The sounds of the three fighting it out over vegan patties or hamburgers continued to reach Raven's ears as she took a meditative pose again, establishing the last bit of peace of mind she needed before the others arrived.
Which was admittedly harder thanks to Adam's words from earlier. But she was able to find peace anyway.
The view zoomed out of the Tower. A red, and a blue T-Ship were shown flying over the bay, headed straight for the T-Tower in the distance…
The view showed the Common Room again. This time though, it was packed with more heroes. The couch had been moved out, and all the heroes were congregated in the living room part of the Common Room.
Beast Boy was grinning widely in victory. Adam and Cyborg were both frowning, as they and all the other Heroes were holding plates with vegan burgers on them.
"How the hell did he beat the both of us?" Adam asked blandly.
"Cheating, that's how," Cyborg grumbled.
Beast Boy continued to grin as he took a massive bite out of his 'breakfast'. "Mmmm, the breakfast of champions."
The other Heroes were a bit perplexed at the taste of the meal provided to them. But then again, there were more important discussions going on amongst them right now.
"So you're missing Hot Spot," Aqualad asked Pantha.
"Yes. He was on a special op at a nuclear power plant near Atlanta when we lost contact. The only thing we ever found, was his Titans Communicator." Pantha spoke in her thick accent to Aqualad.
"That sounds almost like how Speedy disappeared. He was investigating a power surge at an abandoned factory when we lost contact with him." Aqualad replied.
Bumblebee stood silently next to Aqualad. Looking out over the gathered Titans.
The view moved over to another part of the group. "Dude, how's it been?" Beast Boy asked excitedly.
The figure he addressed turned around. A wicked smile came onto his face. "Dude, it's been awesome." Kid Flash said before he and Beast Boy hugged. Kid Flash then put him at arm's length.
"The rumors have been spreading among all the Titans like wildfire. So tell me. Did you seriously get together with Raven or not?" Kid Flash asked.
"Yes, yes he did," Raven said beside Kid Flash plainly.
Kid Flash almost jumped out of his suit from fright. "Whoa, I didn't see you there Raven." Kid Flash said a little sheepishly.
Beast Boy was laughing. "Oh dude, Rae has a way of sneaking up on people when they least expe-" Beast Boy was saying.
"Boo."
"Augh!" The view showed Beast Boy jumping out of his suit in fright, his skin changing from green to a pale white.
The view shifted to show a smirking Jinx. "I'm sorry, but I don't believe Raven isn't the only one capable of sneaking up on people here," Jinx said with her classic smirk on her face.
Kid Flash laughed, and he put his arm over his girlfriend's shoulders. "I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons why I like you, babe." Kid Flash said.
"Oh quit it, Romeo," Jinx said though a blush was already traveling up her cheeks.
"Wow, Rae. She looks almost as red as you when you're embarrassed." Beast Boy pointed out with a chuckle. The view showed him back to normal.
A blush came onto Raven's face. She immediately lifted her hood up over her head. "I do not get embarrassed." She said a little flusteredly.
Beast Boy and Kid Flash both laughed. And the two couples continued to talk with each other.
The view then moved to another part of the crowd. Adam was standing in the middle of all the heroes. He didn't look too good at that moment. Though it was possible thanks to the vegan patty.
"Aw fetch, I only really know the Titans I've been with. I hardly know anyone else here." He said to himself nervously. He looked smaller than normal…
"Mas, Mira! Adán! Está AllÍ!"
Suddenly, Mas and Menos sped into the view right in front of Adam. The two Spanish speedsters looked up excitedly at him.
Mas and Menos continued to speak to Adam. A nervous sweatdrop appeared on Adam's head.
"I'm sorry, I don't really understand Spanish." He said a little sheepishly.
The two must have not heard him. Because they continued to speak in excited Spanish to Adam. The anime sweatdrop on his head increased in size.
How did you say "I don't speak Spanish" in Spanish? Adam wished he'd learned at least that much about another language.

"At least I remember these two." He said.
The view showed a podium that had been set up in front of the Titan's TV screen. Robin appeared behind the podium and looked at the assembled Titans that were chatting down below. Starfire was beside the podium.
"Attention. Attention." Robin said.
The Titans continued to talk with each other. Robin got an annoyed look on his face.
"Attention!" He called again a little louder.
The Titans were still talking to each other. Robin opened his mouth again.
"ATTENTION!" Starfire bellowed for him.
…
The crowd in front of them immediately became silent. The sound of a grasshopper chirping could be heard.
Starfire smiled warmly at Robin. "You may begin the speaking now." She said in a joyous voice.
Robin nodded his head. "Thank you for that Kori..." He then looked at the crowd. "As you all know by now, Titan's North was taken out two nights ago. However, I feel it is time we disclose what it was that took them out to you all." Robin said to the group of Heroes.
He then moved to the side, and Cyborg appeared with a remote in his hand. He pointed it at the screen and turned it on.
Gasp! "Whoa!" "Órale!"
The Titan's reactions varied at what they were seeing.
The view showed the screen. Robin fought with the metal version of Kole on it.
Kole punched for Robin and ended up hitting the hull of the ship instead. Robin knocked her off with his Bo-Staff.
The screen quickly moved to the next part. It showed Red Star and Argent pursuing the T-Ship. With the two of them blasting energy at it.
The screen changed again. Hot Spot and Argent were together on the T-Ship. The two of them were working on taking it down.
Then the TV screen shut off, and Robin took his place back at the stand. "What is the meaning of this!?" Pantha asked in an angry voice.
Others of the Titans started to say angry sentences just like Pantha's. Robin put his hands up in front of him. "Quiet, it isn't what it looks like," Robin said calmly.
"Then what is it supposed to be then?! Because to me, it looks like Heroes have gone rogue!" Jinx asked angrily.
Robin then moved to the side again, and a different picture was shown on the TV. The other Titans stopped speaking in surprise.
The picture shown on it now was the main Teen Titans. With a duplicate of each of them except Adam sitting on, or around the couch in the Titan's Common Room.
...
The room was quiet.
Robin walked back in front of the screen again. "Those were clones of us that tried to win our friendship several months ago. Only to end up just like the clones that took down Titan's North two nights ago." Robin said to them.
Again, there was nothing but silence. Robin looked over them all. "Some of you have noticed that we're missing a few Titans here today. And some of you might have pieced together by now from what I've shown why they might be missing." Robin continued.
Again, murmuring started between the other Titans. "I haven't heard from Thunder or Lightning lately," Aqualad said.
"Jericho's been off the grid for a while too." Kid Flash said.
"How would we distinguish a clone from the real Titan if they look so alike?" Pantha asked.
Robin looked over them all. "My purpose in bringing you all here today wasn't to make you afraid of what's coming." The others looked back at him. "Rather, I wanted to unite us once more against a common threat against all of us. To make sure that you're all prepared for the fight that's ahead, find our friends, and bring them safely home." Robin said in a speech-like tone only capable of someone who had been in leadership.
The Titans were now paying full attention to Robin. He smiled for them to show confidence. "Remember, we are the Teen Titans! Nothing can beat us when we stand together!" Robin was cheering for them.
"We've grown since we faced the Brotherhood of Evil! Whoever it is that we're dealing with, they'll find that we're not going to go down that eas-"
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Robin's speech was cut off, as the klaxons on the wall blared.
"Intruders in the hangar area! Intruders in the hangar area!" The Titan's mainframe started to blare.
The Titans looked around themselves in confusion. And Robin looked confused too until he looked behind himself at the TV screen.
Cyborg had already rushed up to it, and his face was etched with terror.
The screen showed footage of the hangar area. From both the parked T-Ships, Substance after Substance was pouring out of the hulls. They were charging for the exit that led out of the hangar, and eventually to the Common Room.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Several explosions happened from the rooftop, destroying the automatic defenses that'd sprung up on that portion of the Tower. Metal versions of Argent, Thunder and Lightning, Hot Spot, Johnny Rancid, Bro. Blood, Killer Moth, Fang, and several other heroes and villains fell from the ceiling around the Titans as more clones flew outside, engaging the Tower's other defenses.
In the middle of the Titans, Bumblebee, and Wildebeest suddenly had patches of metal skin appear on them. The two of them both smirked as they got into battle positions.
"Stand together. That sounds perfect to us." The clone of Wildebeest said in a gruff voice.
"That just means we can capture you all right here and now." The clone of Bumblee then said.
Aqualad backed away from her in surprise. "What, but how-" He started to say.
"Oh don't worry. You'll find out later water boy." Bumblebee said smoothly.
"T-Titans, go!" Robin ordered in a clearly caught-off-guard tone of voice.
The view showed a war zone in the Common Room.
Ksch! Ksch! Ksch!
Starfire was above the crowd, firing down starbolts at every person with a patch of metal on them. One such starbolt knocked a clone of Bro. Blood off of Jinx.
Pow!
A metal version of Red Star punched Starfire out of the air. Then he followed after her towards another part of the room.
The view moved.
Pow! Pow! Pow! Whack!
Robin was next to Aqualad now. He used his Bo-Staff to hit an Argent clone three times in a row, before whacking her away. "Any ideas on getting us out of this mess leader!?" Aqualad asked.
Phmmm!
Aqualad used water from the plumbing down beneath the floor to launch the metal version of Wildebeest into the ceiling. Robin pulled out two discs. "Trying! A little hard when everything's being thrown at you all at once!" Robin said.
He moved to throw the discs in his hands.
Snatch!
Suddenly, Robin was snatched up by his cape. A metal version of Gnnark ran off with him.
"Aqualad!" Robin yelled.
Pow!
Before Aqualad could react, he was knocked back into a window by a clone of Killer Moth. He quickly got back up, but by then, the metal version of Gnnark ran off with Robin. It charged through the sliding doors and disappeared.
"Richard!" Starfire screeched.
KSCH!
She fired a massive starbolt through the chest of the Red Star she had been fighting. The clone fell slack to the ground. She then flew off through the air through the downed sliding doors.
"Star, wait-" Cyborg called as he tried to follow.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The thundering footsteps accompanied the Substances as they charged into the room through the sliding doors. Cyborg immediately brought his sonic cannon up.
"Dang it Star!" He yelled angrily. "Adam, you're up!"
Ksch!
He fired at an approaching Substance.
Slash! Slash!
A clone of Hot Spot fell in two pieces in front of Adam. He wielded his sword, and immediately turned around at the sound of Cyborg's voice. "What- are you fetching kidding me!?"
Slash!
He sliced a metal leg off of a Fang. The metal villain immediately tried to run away.
Twang!
An arrow spouted in the villain's head, and it crumbled down to the floor.
Adam shook himself. "I hate spiders." He said before he saw the Substances. A sweatdrop appeared on his head. "Oh, that's what Cyborg was talking about."
While the Titans had weapons that could deal with the clones themselves, only Adam's weapons were capable of defeating the Substance creatures for good.
The view showed a pretty nasty battle.
Mas and Menos were speeding through one part. Knocking down clone after clone with their super speed.
Snatch!
A large Substance suddenly snatched them from the ground. The two squirmed in its grip, trying to get out.
Adam rushed forward to help, only for another Substance to get in his way.
Slash!
Adam slashed it through the center, but by then his attention was drawn to another part of the battle.
The view showed Raven surrounded by dark ethereal energy. She used a massive amount to pick up a metal version of Bumblebee and pull her apart piece by piece.
"Mmrrr!" "Augh!"
Adam turned to look at the scream. Another Substance had Beast Boy in its grip, and it was running for the sliding doors too.
Adam immediately ran forward and summoned a spear in his hands. "Oh no, you don't," Adam yelled as he chucked the spear.
Ksch!
The Substance was almost to the doors when the spear went right through its chest.
The Substance looked down in surprise at the cube hanging onto the spear, and then it powered off. Beast Boy immediately got out of its slack grip. Adam ran up next to him.
"Thanks, dude, I owe you one." Beast Boy said gratefully.
"Don't mention it," Adam said in relief.
"Ah, noooo!"
The two immediately looked. Cyborg was being dragged down through the ground by another Substance. His arm cannon was in pieces on the ground where he'd been.
"Cy!" Adam yelled.
"Chrome Dome!" Beast Boy yelled.
Before they could try to intervene, another pair of Substances got in their way. By the time they'd dealt with the two, the original had disappeared with Cyborg.
The two looked at each other.
"They got Chrome Dome." They said in unison, both sounding incredibly shocked.
Other Heroes were missing too. This was turning out really bad for the Heroes and only a short amount of time had passed.
"MMRRR!"
Another Substance spotted them and started to charge toward them.
Pow!
Suddenly, it tripped on itself and fell on its face. Jinx appeared in the view. "You must have really bad luck today," Jinx said tauntingly to the Substance.
The Substance got back up to charge her.
Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow!
A sudden series of quick hits pounded right around its chest. Hitting right through the material around its cube.
Zoom!
Kid Flash ran to the window with the cube, and then chucked it out towards the city. Almost immediately, the material of the Substance followed after the cube. The cube was too far away though, and eventually, the material just fell to the bay below.
Kid Flash clapped his hands together. "Ha, that should keep it from coming back anytime soon. Though, that took a bit more energy than I care to admit." He said.
Twang!
A metal clone of Gnnark suddenly had an arrow spouting out of his head next to Kid Flash. The metal Gnnark immediately put a hand on its head.
Pow!
Adam's steel gauntlet plowed into its chest, and it fell back through the window down below. Adam looked up at the surprised Kid Flash. "Take these. They should save you a lot of trouble." Adam offered the gauntlets he was wearing to the speedster.
He could process his shock later. Right now, he had to help the other Heroes be able to even the playing field any way he could.
"Thanks." Kid Flash said happily as he put on the gauntlets. They looked a little big on him, but they didn't impede his speed as he punched apart another pair of Substances out of oblivion nearly simultaneously.
The Titans continued to fight on. It was a losing battle though.
Mas and Menos had managed to get out of the grip of the Substance from before, seeing how Kid Flash had punched out the cube of the other one and managed to do the same.
But then a clone of Argent trapped them in a silver energy cage. Which a clone of Hot Spot picked up and flew out of the window with.
At this point, there was too little left of the Tower's defense systems to try and shoot down the clone and save the two Spanish speedsters.
An Asian hero wielding a sword like Adam got hit in the back of the head. He fell unconscious to the ground and was dragged off by a clone of Bumblebee.
"Stand together! Don't let them take your friends!" Beast Boy yelled, fighting back-to-back with his girlfriend.
The circle of Titans kept on shrinking as more and more reinforcements pushed in through the downed sliding doors. They were already heavily outnumbered and it was becoming worse by the second.
Raven pulled apart another clone of Wildebeest, just as another clone of Killer Moth like the one she had pulled apart earlier came charging at her.
Aqualad slammed another clone of Argent back into a wall with a spray of water. But the clone simply got back up and went back to fighting next to a damaged clone of Johnny Rancid.
The view showed Beast Boy turning into a roaring bear. He used his massive claws to rake through a Substance
Pow!
Yet the wounds instantly healed over, and the Substance delivered a massive uppercut that sent the grizzly bear flying back away from Raven into the Control Console.
"Garfield!" Raven slammed the clone of Killer Moth away and rushed up to him.
The grizzly bear morphed back into Beast Boy, who groaned. "They just keep coming!" Beast Boy yelled angrily. "And we can't destroy those Substances with our powers!"
The Substance ran forward alongside a clone of Thunder ran forward.
Slash! Slash!
Adam appeared with two swords in his hands, slicing Thunder and the Substance in half from behind simultaneously. The creatures fell to the ground. A crazed battle look was in Adam's eyes, and the remains of other Substances and clones were left in his path.
He immediately threw one of his swords to Beast Boy, who caught it.
"Dude, I never did ask you how your weapons hurt these things." Beast Boy said.
Adam shrugged without responding. He summoned another sword in his hand again and went back to hacking with Beast Boy and Raven at his sides.
At that point, Kid Flash, Raven, Adam, Aqualad, Beast Boy, Pantha, and Jinx were the only Titans left of the original group of Titans. They fought in a semi-circle around the Control Console, with the windows at their backs and an array of Adam's weapons in their hands…
Adam was sweating profusely having all these weapons out. But at least they could take down clones or Substances if need be.
But between the onslaughts of various attacks from all their opponents, they were bound to break at any moment.
"Any ideas?" Jinx called out, looking unwieldy with the spear she was using. Shielding herself with her energy from attacks from Red Star and Bro. Blood as well as a clone of Cyborg that'd shown up for the fight.
"Don't get caught," Raven said blandly. She had an ethereal shield up in tandem with Jinx's.
"Good idea. How are we going to make that work?" Jinx asked sarcastically.
"... I have no idea," Raven said seriously.
She'd already tried forming a portal to get rid of some of the clones earlier. But somehow, she couldn't it. She tried to form a portal then that they could all escape into, but it wouldn't form still.
Kid Flash appeared next to them again. He was breathing in and out heavily from exertion. Adam's gauntlets on his fists disappeared as the Hero trembled where he stood.
"D-Dang it. I-I can barely f-focus." Adam groaned out in agony.
"Guys, I think we're toast," Aqualad muttered defeatedly. He'd exhausted all the water in the area. There wasn't even a running faucet in the kitchen for him to pull from. And seeing how the weapon Adam had given him was flickering in his hands, it was going to disappear at any second now.
Their situation looked bleak indeed.
"Mmrrr." A Substance screeched.
Then, suddenly, the view showed all the clones and other Substances stop launching attacks.
The heroes stopped paused in confusion and looked at each other.
"What are they waiting for?" Jinx asked curiously.
"I... I don't know." Pantha said unsurely.
…
Clap. Clap. Clap.
The Substances and clones in the middle parted. And a clapping clone of Herald was shown. He had a relaxed smile on his face.
"Now that, was an impressive fight. One that would certainly go down in the history books of our world." Herald said to them all.
The Titans all looked confused. The remains of clones and Substances lay on the floor all around the room.
"What do you want?" Aqualad asked.
"Why, I want to take the chance to extend the arm of mercy to you all right now. Since you all seem so hopelessly outmatched." Herald said with the same smile on his face.
The Titans looked at each other. They must have seen how few of them were left and how exhausted they all were.
"No deal." Beast Boy said firmly.
…
"What?" Herald chuckled. "Do you really want to throw away the only chance for mercy you'll be given? I'm giving you the chance to step aside, to live peaceful lives under the rule of Dimension X," Herald said in an enticing voice to them.
"It's not like you can keep fighting forever. Just look at him, the one who summons weapons that can hurt us more than anything else in this world." Herald gestured, and the Titans looked at their friend.
Adam had fallen to one knee and was breathing in and out heavily. The weapon Pantha had been wielding disappeared.
"He can barely stand. Once he falls, the rest of you will be easy prey for our Substances. Nothing can stop them." Herald said with a smile. "So give yourselves the satisfaction of giving up-"
Twang!
Herald barely moved his head to the side in time.
The arrow that'd been meant for his head flew into the chest of a Substance. Piercing through its control cube.
It dissolved into the ground in less than a second.
Herald turned his head back towards the Heroes again, briefly looking shocked.
Adam was still on his knees, but a bow was in his hands. The remaining weapons around him remained solid.
"You... you can fetching go to hell, you dumb fetcher." Adam shakily stood back up, bow in hand.
The Titans once again looked at each other. Then they nodded, before facing Herald.
"Yes. I agree. Let me send you all to hell personally." Raven said a rare note of venom in her voice. Her eyes turned red as dark tendrils came out of her form.
Beast Boy smirked. "How's that for an answer, metal boy?"
…
The clones and Substances shifted into battle poses again. Herald's face transformed into a scowl. "Fine then..." He said darkly.
He raised his arm to point to the Titans.
Ksh! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
A circular device with red foam on it stuck to Herald's arm. He looked down at the beeping timer in surprise. It had a red X on it.
"What the-" He started to say.
Beeeeee! Boom!
The resulting explosion tore the arm off the clone of Herald. And sent the rest of his body flying back into a wall.
"X1!" One of the clones shouted.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions rocked their way through the clone's ranks. Various metal versions of heroes, villains, and Substances alike flew through the air.
The Titans, clones, and Substances looked around in confusion.
"How about we spill a little light on the situation!" A familiar voice yelled up above.
Phoom! Phoom!
Two light blasts slammed into two different Substances. The two Substances fell backward onto the ground.
And then at last, Doctor Light, Kitten, Mumbo Jumbo, members of the H.I.V.E. Five, and Red X landed in front of the Titans.
"Surprised?" Red X said gladly as two X-Blades came out of his wrists.
Crack!
An orange energy whip whipped a clone of Hot Spot away. Kitten laughed happily to herself as she raised her whip above her head again. A metal version of Fang ran for her.
"Fang, we're through!" Kitten yelled.
Crack!
Her whip wrapped around Fang's neck, and then she threw the clone out a window.
"Mumbo Jumbo!" Mumbo chanted, as he pointed his wand at two charging Substances.
Ploop!
The two Substances turned into potted plants. Mumbo appeared over them with a pail of water in his hands.
"What kind of show is it without taking the time to smell the roses!" He said happily as he bent over to sniff his creations. "Swords aren't the only things of defeating these things you know."
Two clones of Killer Moth converged for him.
Mumbo poured water on top of the plants.
Snap! Snap!
The tops turned into Venus Fly Traps, which snapped at the two Killer Moths. "What a trick, I say! They like moths just as much as they do flies!" Mumbo laughed at both of them.
The view moved to show a pair of clones, both Thunder and Lightning, backing away from the chaos. And then Gizmo appeared in the air behind them.
"Take this snot rags! Xenothium-powered lasers just for you!" Gizmo yelled as two long laser rifles came out of the top of his backpack.
Phoom! Phoom! Phoom! Phoom!
Red lasers fired from it, slamming into the metal clones in front of him. The high-energy blasts were just enough to tear through them and take them down.
Gizmo continued to laugh to himself as he flew away from the clone's smoking remains and targeted other clones in the room.
Red X fired X after X from his hands. Sticking several different clones of Bumblebee, Gnnark, and others down in red foam. The clones struggled with trying to escape.
The view finally showed the Titans.
They looked at each other in shock and confusion, but then smiled with relief and joined the fight alongside the villains.
Phoom! Phoom!
The view showed Doctor Light again. Just as he blasted away two clones of Argent. He then looked around himself for another target.
Wham!
A large Substance plowed Doctor Light down to the ground. He looked dazed as the Substance raised its arms above its head.
KaPow!
A large black ethereal baseball bat knocked the Substance into the back wall. Doctor Light got up, just as Raven appeared from the ground next to him.
"Thank you." Doctor Light said gratefully.
Raven shrugged. "How about we let darkness and light work together this time." She offered.
Three more clones, two of Johnny Rancid, and one of Robin appeared in front of them. The fact that a Robin clone had already appeared alongside a Cyborg clone from earlier was drastically worrying for the rest of them.
Doctor Light got in a battle stance. "I think we could make that work." He said.
More dark ethereal energy appeared on Raven's hands, and the two charged forward.
Crack!
The view showed Kitten wrapping her whip around a large Substance. She pulled hard on it, trying to bring it down.
Crack!
The Substance easily broke itself out of her energy whip. And Kitten looked up in surprise at the now angered Substance. It lifted a hand to swat her away.
Slash! Slash!
Both of its arms suddenly fell off.
Ksch!
Then a sword poked out of its chest from behind. The Substance immediately lost its material and sank down into the ground. The view showed a tired Adam, who had a smirk on his face.
"Need a hand?" He asked as he threw the sword in his hand to her.
Kitten caught it, and examined it. "It's a little plain..." She then immediately turned around.
Slash!
A clone of Bro. Blood was split in two. Both pieces fell to the ground. "But I like it," Kitten said happily. "Could you make a gold version of this?"
"Not sure. Maybe another time." Adam nodded, as he summoned a bow in his hands. "If I figure out how to make one stay, I'll mail it as a gift," Adam said as an arrow appeared on the string.
"Such a sweet boyfriend! You're far better than Fang!"
"Urk…" Adam didn't look so good. And it wasn't just from exhaustion this time.
Twang! Twang! Slash! Slash!
Adam proceeded to fire more arrows at other Substances as Kitten slashed away at any clone that came close.
Another part of the battle showed Cyclops and Kyd Wckked working together. Cyclops was using laser beams from his eyes to blind the clones, while Kyd Wckked would then transport them out through a dark portal.
Boom.
Suddenly, a large Substance appeared in front of them. "Um, I don't think this one has any eyes for me to burn," Cyclops said nervously.
Slash!
A sword cut from its shoulder, all the way to its hip. Then the two pieces of the Substance fell to the ground. A smiling Beast Boy appeared in the view, holding one of Adam's swords.
Kyd Wckked smiled and gave a thumbs up. The three of them continued fighting from there.
Slash!
The view then showed Red X slicing through the head of a clone of Starfire. The view showed more such clones coming in through the sliding doors of other heroes who had just been captured recently.
"Back up to the windows!" Red X ordered.
"Why?! Aren't we winning!?" Pantha asked as she bashed two clone heads together in front of her.
"That guy from before wasn't grandstanding! If we stay here, we will lose!" Red X ordered.
The Titans and villains started to reluctantly back up towards the windows. Each one that had the option was using ranged attacks to keep the remaining Substances and clones at bay.
Kid Flash rejoined the fray after his brief rest in to bash as many of the clones and Substances as fast as he could with his bare fists. Adam looked too exhausted to try and summon another pair of gauntlets for him.
Boom. Boom. Boom! Boom!
The sounds of more Substances coming through the hallways were heard.
Finally, they were all shown back to back at the windows.
"Now, jump!" Red X ordered before he jumped out the window. The villains immediately followed suit.
The Titans hesitated at first, but then jumped out after the villains.
The view showed them all free-falling down the face of the Tower.
"What now?!" Aqualad asked.
"Some of us cannot fly!" Pantha screamed.
The Titans/villains were about halfway down to the ground. They were going along the length of the T…
Then a series of dropships appeared from the air under them as if out of thin air. The illusion hiding them all shocked them almost as much as the Heroine straining on the roof of one.
"Get in!" Mirage yelled.
The view showed the Titans and villains fall into the open tops as the dropships descended with them.
After the last Titan disappeared, the three ships' tops closed, and they each pulled out of their dives. Then they turned towards the city and rocketed away into the distance.
The view showed from the windows, as the clones and Substances walked up to the edge. Among them was the now-reformed Herald, who was missing one of his arms.
"They... they got away sir." One of the Substances said.
Herald glanced at it.
Pow!
Herald angrily punched out the cube of the Substance. He then stomped up to the cube and smashed it under his boot.
The Substance's material fell to the ground and didn't reform. The clone of Herald angrily walked away from the windows.
"Torch this place! I don't want to see one brick on top of another by the time it's done!" He ordered.
The clones of Hot Spot immediately moved to comply. Spraying their fire over everything within reach.
As Herald exited through a portal, more clones of Hot Spot appeared to do as he'd commanded from another portal. Soon, the entire T-Tower would be on fire, and the symbol of protection that'd stood in the city for years would disappear.
The scene faded to black…
…
The view showed the three drop ships from before, now flying over a forested area.
The view moved to the pilot's seat of one of them. In it was a Sladebot.
Through the windshield, a rocky outcropping appeared. The Sladebot directed the dropship to it.
"This is dropships Alpha, Bravo, and Omega coming into home base, over." The Sladebot said into a microphone in front of it.
"Proceed on your current course, over." Another Sladebot said over the line.
Kckckckck!
As the three ships approached, the bottom of the outcropping opened up. When the three dropships were over it, it was finally wide enough for all three to drop down into.
The dropships descended into the Earth…

The view showed the dropships parked down below on a platform.
Beep! Kchhhh!
The backs of them opened, and a platform lowered to the ground. The heroes and villains walked out from each of them. The Titans looked around themselves with wide eyes.
"Whoa..." Beast Boy said in amazement.
The view showed a literal hive of activity going on around them. Older-looking Bloodbots worked alongside Sladebots in moving materials around the hangar area. In the distance, several large-looking metal tubes poked out from the wall. And other different ships, some that had graffiti on them that identified which villain they belonged to, were parked in the hangar.
The Titans looked at each other. "What is this place?" Beast Boy asked.
"This, this is home base."
Aqualad looked in surprise. From behind a pair of Bloodbots moving a large crate, appeared Speedy.
"Roy!" Aqualad ran over and lifted the archer up high in the air in a massive hug. "It hasn't been the same having no one to argue about not eating seafood with!" Aqualad said with tears running down the sides of his face.
Speedy grinned widely and patted Aqualad's back. "Well hate to break it to ya, but we're having salmon for Lunch," Speedy said.
Aqualad immediately dropped Speedy, and a look of horror came onto his face. "Not more of my friends!" Aqualad yelled in despair.
Speedy chuckled to himself. His friend was too easy to mess with.
Another figure approached. "Is... Where's Robin?"
Beast Boy shook his head. "I'm sorry, he got captured early in the fighting."
...
"I... I see..." Mirage walked away from the group, resting a hand on her teammate's shoulder.
"Come on, Flamebird. I need some rest." The girl said tiredly.
The two members of Titan's North walked away, and Adam's eyes widened as he finally realized why they'd seemed so familiar.
"I-I thought all of Titan's North was captured!?"
"They were lucky." Speedy's eyes narrowed as he shook his head. "They weren't at the Tower when the attack happened. We barely reached them before the clones did and brought them back to Home base."
"I'm sorry, but Home base for what?" Raven finally asked.
"Home base is the name we settled on for this place." Red X spoke behind them.
The Titans turned, and Red X came last off the dropship. "What?" Beast Boy asked confusedly.
Red X stopped in front of the heroes. "What happened to you at Titan's North and West has been happening to random villains over the last couple of months. First, it was small timers like Johnny Rancid or Killer Moth... and then two days ago, Bro. Blood was captured by them." Red X spoke gravely. "This is Home base for our fight against our common enemy."
...
The Titans looked at each other again. "So how is this here dude?" Beast Boy asked.
"Oh, I caught onto what was going on long before you guys. This has been in the making for the last few months. Seriously, you have no idea how hard it is to convince some of these guys to do this." Red X said honestly.
"He's right. It took him saving my butt from my own clone before I went with him here." Speedy said.
"And then they both saved my butt right after that!"
Control Freak suddenly popped up right next to Adam. Adam immediately jumped back.
"What the fetch?!"
"Hmmm, you should probably come up with a cuss word people would be more familiar with." Control Freak said, narrowing his eyes as he studied the Titan over. "You've probably confused a lot of readers with that word up to this point."
...
"Don't tell me you had to save his butt too?" Adam groaned, looking just as lost and confused as everyone else there.
Red X nodded. "We need all the help we can get kid." He muttered. "No matter where it comes from."
"Hey, I've been a big help! I knew exactly what those piece of junk duplicates were after!" Control Freak said proudly. "Thanks to me taking a sneak peek at the script, of course."
…
The others looked at the obese acne-covered couch potato weirdly.
"What have I said about calling me- anyway, they're after power sources!" Control Freak then said excitedly.
The Titans looked at each other. "What?! That's why they targeted me! Because of the Xenothium Power Core I use to power my remote!" Control Freak said as he proudly showed the remote.
"Yeah. Because the clone we took down said it'd be too much of a waste of material to make a potato slob." Speedy said under his breath.
"Hey, I heard that!" Control Freak yelled at him.
Red X rested against a large crate. "He is right though. They aren't just after heroes and villains. They're looting some pretty high-tech power sources. The only thing we still haven't figured out is why they're stealing them, or heroes and villains worldwide in the first place-" Red X was saying.
"Dimension X," Adam spoke up.
…
The others looked at him. "Dimension what?" Control Freak asked.
"Dimension X. That's been brought up a couple of times in the past. And that clone of Herald confirmed it. He said they were preparing for this world to come under the rule of Dimension X." Adam said.
…
There was silence between them.
"I wondered what those censored out parts of the script were…" Control Freak grumbled to himself.
"What do we do now then?" Pantha asked.
"If this is coming from another dimension, who knows how many there'll be to fight." Kid Flash said nervously.
"Rae, could you..." Raven shook her head to Beast Boy's unspoken question, and he closed his mouth. "What do we do then?"
...
Adam looked up from the ground at them. "We continue fighting, and find our friends." He said boldly. "If we have to team up with villains to accomplish that, then oh well. I could imagine it being worse."
"We could always fight again." Red X proposed.
"And I could kick you in the balls again." Adam retaliated.
"Heh, not going to work a second-time kid."
Beast Boy, though surprised at the Titan's initial statement, put his hand up high. "You're right, we're the Teen Titans! And I, for one, refuse to back away from this threat!" He yelled.
"Yeah!" The other Titans and villains nearby cheered.
Red X smirked. "Then, are you in?" He asked.
The others looked at each other and then nodded.
"Good. Then let's get to work. We have more heroes and villains to resc... recruit, before the day's out." Red X said. "Let's go, time's a wasting."
The view showed the Titans walking away with the villains through the hangar bay…
The view showed the clone of Herald, kneeling in front of a small portal. He had a new arm attached to his side.
"I am sorry sir. But I am afraid to report that some of the heroes we were after escaped." Herald said in a submissive tone.
The portal in front of him moved around a little bit. "It is of no consequence X1. A few of those puny 'heroes' were bound to hide away somewhere." A voice came out from the other end of the portal. "They can be handled easily enough."
A frown came onto Herald's face. "I am afraid… that the Unknown escaped with them." Herald finished.
…
There was a pause on the other end.
"I thought I ordered him to be eliminated!" The voice screeched angrily.
Herald immediately got to his feet. "We tried, but he made off with the heroes and villains you told us to capture-" Herald started to yell.
"SILENCE!"
...
Herald stopped speaking out of fear.
"This changes our plans a little bit X1. I am afraid, that we will have to speed things up." The voice said at the other end.
"B-But sir, we don't have everything ready. We need more manpower and-"
"Don't argue out of this X1, or else I'll send someone out there to replace you." The voice said on the other end.
Herald actually blanched at that and then nodded. "Yes sir, we'll get right to it sir." He said before he quickly turned around to walk out.
"Prepare for my coming! This world and its inhabitants will soon bow down to the might of Dimension X!" The leader screeched before the portal closed behind the clone of Herald. But not before the being's chilling laugh sounded through the room.
"Aha! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The screen faded to black…

End of Season Six, Episode Thirteen: Coming of Dimension X.
Author's Notes:
So, you might all be wondering, aren't there normally thirteen Episodes to a season of Teen Titans? My answer to that is, yes, yes there is. So then, why is this fic not marked as complete yet? Well, besides the obvious end here... let's just say that the last part I have written for this is not an Episode, but rather a Movie. Which, yes, will close out the rest of this fic and my Season Six of Teen Titans.
It is rather long though, so instead of three sections like before, I might have to split it into six or seven sections, depending on where I find good stopping points for it. My Google Doc marks it at 43k words, and I haven't fully fleshed out the beginning for... well, I can't remember why my past self never wrote the beginning all out. But I'll see if I'm able to do it or not. If not, well, hopefully I'll come back to fix it in the future. It's taken a lot of energy for me to reach this point as it is.
I'll see you all again real soon for the last part of this fic that I have simply labeled as: "Dimension X"
