Kill youre Weakness
"I...i lost"said Tasumi laying down on the grass.
He tried to win the mock duel against Akame to prove his how worthy to the Night Raid group , but he lost and was wondering if he will forever remain weak.
Later that day...
Tatsumi was in the kitchen helping Akame preparing breakfast.
"Tatsumi can you pass me the knife?"asked Akame.
"Huh?Ohh...sure, here"said Tatsumi passing the knife to Akame.
"I warned you dont speak like that until you won against me"said Akame to him.
Tatsumi feelt ashamed , he acted like he was some sort a master wielding his sword.
But he was in reallity a joke compared to Akame who almost ended up killing him if Teresa didn't stepped in to stop Akame.
Teresa was at the entrance door to the kitchen and heard what Akame told Tatsumi.
Guess her training with Tatsumi and Akame will come even much sooner then she though at first.
Being both busy making breakfeast neither Tatsumi and Akame didn't noticed her presence until...
"You two, after youre done come with me"said Teresa to both of them as she left.
Tastumi and Akame found themselves at the river were Akame uses to catch her fish prey.
Not very far away Tatsumi spots Teresa with Clare next to her.
"Teresa"said Tatsumi.
"So you came huh?Good but let me warn you my training will be like nothing you two have ever faced"said Teresa to both of them.
Akame didn't showed any fear unlike Tatsumi.
He wasnt sure but he feelt that moment that his life will be cut short because of this training he will have with the legendary nr.1 Claymore Teresa of the Faint Smile.
"If... if i fail again i dont think i will ever recover" said Tatsumi with a serious look on his face knowing he cant screw things up again like he did when he had that mock duel with Akame.
"Bring youre absolute worst, i swear on my life and sword that i wont fail ever again"said Tatsumi with a determined look on his face that put a smile on Akame's face, however Teresa was still not impressed by what he said.
Teresa wanted him to speak with his sword not his mouth.
"Very well then, let us begin"said Teresa taking out her sword to clash with Tatsumi and Akame's swords.
For the past couple of days Teresa has been training both Akame and Tatsumi whille the rest were making sure Clare is safe and sound since her caretaker was busy.
Teresa noticed that Akame was a quick learner, she was getting better and better by the day.
Unlike Akame Teresa noticed that Tatsumi was still at square one not improving one bit and who could blame him.
Everytime he tried to get close to her to land a hit,, her powerfull scary aura was backing him away.
Teresa noticed that his weakness is that he is afraid to lose his life against much stronger oponents. If he is not gonna kill that weakness of him he will surely die one of these days.
Teresa was not gonna allow that. You wonder why? Because ever since Teresa and Clare came to this rotten place , Teresa noticed how Clare cares so much for Tatsumi like she is his little sister.
If this boy made Clare happy then Teresa must make sure he wont die no matter the cost.
"Dammit, dammit"said Tatsumi really frustrated.
"If you still have energy to speak then get up and try a bit more harder"said Teresa with a harsh tone on him.
"Easy for you to speak like that when youre that strong"said Tatsumi.
"If you feel like giving up then feel free to do so, but everyone here will be very dissapointed in you including Akame"said Teresa.
"Thats probably because she is a child prodigy born being this good , i am nothing like that at all. I'm a weakling" said Tatsumi only to receive a slap from Teresa that surprised him and Akame to.
"Youre pathetic"said Teresa to Tatsumi.
"Huh?!"said Tatsumi not understanding why Teresa slapped him until...
"What did you told me at first?Bring my absolute worst?What happened with what you said that swore on youre life and sword that you wont give up?Were those words only lies?"asked Teresa looking at Tatsumi with cold scary icy eyes.
That was when a lighting struck Tatsumi's mind.
Teresa was right he said that stuff yet he was starting to doubt feelt like when he lost to Akame he put on brave words but didn't backed those words at all.
Tatsumi didn't learned a thing until...
Tatsumi out of nowhere punched him so hard in the face that made him fall down to the ground surprising Akame whille Teresa was still the same not impressed by his actions, she made it clear she will believe him only with his sword not his words.
After that moment Tatsumi got up and starts speaking again:
"No more chickening out , no more doubts. I will earn my right being part of Night Raid even if it kills me and this time i really mean it"said Tatsumi much more determined like when he first started this training.
"Will see about that"said Teresa.
A few more days have passed and this time Tatsumi was really showing improvement.
He was no longer afraid of Teresa's scary powerfull aura, everytime he clashed swords with Teresa and falls down on the ground he gets back up real fast and attacks Teresa again.
Teresa this time smilled at him, for showing that he trully has killed his weakness.
Akame was doing good to, she improved so fast thanks to Teresa that now she was fighting one on one as an equal with Bullat.
Youre wondering how Bullat was sparring with Akame? Simple Teresa asked him nd the former imperial soldier agreed wanting to see how much she and Tatsumi have improved.
A new day appeared fast and Akame and Tatsumi waited for Teresa to come to train them again until...
Tatsumi and Akame were surprised to see that Bullat was joining Teresa as a team against Tatsumi and Akame.
"I hope you guys dont mind for joining the fun"said Bullat.
"No we dont bother at all , after all this will be even more fun"said Tatsumi with a grin smile on his face.
"Fun huh? Guess he really has improved if he is not afraid to take us both" said Bullat to himself with a smile on his face.
With that Teresa took out her sword and Bullat used his Incursio both looking ready just like Tatsumi and Akame.
Meanwhille...
The scene changes with Leone finding herself in dark forest looking like she was waiting for someone. After not long a hooded person appears in front of her.
"Are you alone? No followers?"asked the blonde lion.
"Dont worry, i made sure nobody is going to follow me so can we get down to business?"asked the mysterious hooded person.
"Good so lets hear it"said Leone.
Back at Night Raid base...
After Tatsumi and Akame finished there training both of them were preparing lunch for everyone.
"Hurry up, i'm starving"said Mine.
"Okay, okay patience geez youre acting like a spoiled princess"said Tatsumi.
"Because i am . And once peace will trully exist i swear my life will be filled with so much luxury that every guy will think of me as a true princess"said Mine so full of herself.
"Yeeesh who died and made you king?"asked Lubbock trying to snap Mine back to reality.
"What was that?"asked Mine until...
"Anyway, i heard the training has showed alot of improvement"said Najenda gettting between Mine and Lubbock before things escalated to much.
"They did"said Teresa looking at the outside the window.
"I see ...well then shall we test it?!"said Najenda with a smile appearing on her face.
"Huh?!"said Tatsumi not understanding what Najenda had in stored for him and Akame.
"Akame i want you to and Leone to team up and take down one sime ball corrupted crrok that is called Gamal"said Najenda.
After a brief of explanation on who Gamal is Akame nodded that she has no problems at all killing him.
"Good girl, as for you Tatsumi i want you to take out Ogre"said Najenda getting the attention of everyone except Teresa and Clare.
"Huh?Who's Ogre?"asked Tatsumi.
"Oi boss, Ogre is a big name and he is very dangerous you should let me or Teresa handle him"said Bullat.
"Huh? Is this Ogre guy really that dangerous?"asked Tatsumi.
"Yes his nickname is the "Demon" and he is the captain of the Imperial Capital police force. Every cook is afraid of him"said Bullat to Tatsumi.
"What he is tha captain of the Imperial Capital police force? But isn't he supposed to be an ally of us?"asked Tatsumi.
"Tatsumi youre still green"said Bullat.
"Huh?!"said Tatsumi.
"The Imperial Capital Police Force may have been at one point on the side of justice but that time is long gone.
This place is not like it was back in the days and i seen it first had"said Bullat having short flashbacks moments in hsi mind when he used to serve the Imperial Capital.
"If you still want to go against him i wont stop you but you might not return alive"said Bullat to Tatsumi.
Hearing everything what Bullat was saying made even Teresa wonder if letting Tatsumi is a wise chooise to deal with such a dangerous man.
Sure he improved but mostly because Teresa and Bullat held back on there training with Tatsumi and Akame to bost there confidence even before Bullat joined the training session Teresa even solo was still holding back against Tatsumi and Akame.
Even when Tatsumi told her to giver absolute worst she still holding back her power and that included even Akame who took every duel serious, but just like with Tatsumi Teresa was still holding back.
Maybe when both Tatsumi and Akame become more stronger , she will use a bit more of her power and strenght.
But this Ogre guy wont hold back against Tatsumi and just like Bullat said there is high chance he might die when...
"I dont care how strong he is i have trained so hard, so that i wont be weak ever again. This will be good chance for me to test my skills in this mission"said Tatsumi.
"So youre still gonna take on Ogre?"asked Najenda.
"Yes"said Tatsumi with a serious look on his face.
"You might die but if this is what you trully want then Tatsumi youre going to deal with Ogre, make us Nigh Raid proud"said Najenda.
"I will"said Tatsumi.
"Well then... i guess we might start then youre funeral Tatsumi"said Mine pretending to be in tears.
"HEY DONT JUST KILL ME OFF LIKE THAT" yealled Tatsumi at Mine for thinking he was indeed gonna die.
Everyone else except Teresa laughed at this until...
Tatsumi was grabbed by Clare's hands getting his full attention.
"Clare?!"said Tatsumi making himself the same size as Clare to speak with her.
"Promise"said Clare surprising Tatsumi and everyone else including Teresa this time.
"Huh?!"said Tatsumi.
"Promise youl come back Tatsumi"said Clare with a cute determined look on her face.
"I promise"said Tatsumi having now a much bigger reason to survive against Ogre.
Then Clare shows her tiny little finger to Tatsumiand he already knew what she wanted the pinky promise to which Tatsumi did for Clare.
Now he cant afford at all to lose against Ogre.
Later...
It was already late at night , Gamal was coming out of the bathroom muttering something about another round with one of the girls when...
"Ohh...dont worry youl get from me and my friend alot of pleasure"said Leone behind Gamalwith her hands on his neck trying to cut off all the air when...
Akame appeared in front of him and with her sword Murasame Gamal was killed.
"You got really lucky you sick bastard, having both of us at the same time"said Leone with a smile on her face.
"You enjoy this line of work a nit to much"said a new voice getting Akame and Leone's attention it was Teresa appearing from the shadows.
"The hell are you doing here?"asked Leone.
"Dont worry, i wont interfere with youre mission just wondering if you two wanna go check out on Tatsumi"said Teresa.
"Heh? Worried for youre student?"asked Leone.
"Not really, but i dont want to see Clare crying if Tatsumi were to die today"said Teresa.
"Well then this is rich"said Leone surprising Teresa.
"You would do anything for that little girl youre travelling with"said Leone.
"Yes, because that little girl gaved me a real purpose in life to protect her and make sure she will never be sad again"said Teresa.
"So you consider Clare like youre very own daughter"said Akame.
"Yes, yes i do"said Teresa.
"Sorry, i would like to see how Tatsumi is doing but someone must report back to the boss"said Leone.
"Leone go ahead, i'm going with Teresa"said Akame.
"Huh? You sure?"asked Leone.
"Yes the mission is completed and i really dont see why both of us has to do the report and you dont have to worry about me nobody will see my face"said Akame.
"Okay, just be carefull"said Leone leaving Akame alone with Teresa.
"I will"said Akame.
In a dark alley...
Tatsumi was fighting Ogre and so far his training with Teresa seemed to have improved Tatsumi's skills, even against someone like Ogre who was still at advantage over Tatsumi.
Not very far away Akame and Teresa found him and both were watching the fight between Tatsumi and Ogre.
Akame was trying to hold back to not interfere or the mission will be a complete failure but she showed really worried for Tatsumi when she was seeing Ogre still in the lead over Tatsumi.
Akame wanted a few times to go and help but Teresa stopped her reminding her that this is his battle not hers.
Finally the battle ended and Tatsumi was the sole survivor killing Ogre that eased Akame's worries seeing her friend being safe and not hurt.
Teresa noticed how Akame was behaving and wondering if Akame is starting to fall for Tatsumi? was what Teresa was thinking at the moment.
After that Teresa noticed Akame heading back and that was not hard for Teresa to understand what Akame was trying to say.
"Good job Tatsumi, for proving youre worth , killing youre weakness and fufilling youre promise to Clare"said Teresa looking back one more time at him before leaving him all alone.
