"Ohh, Callie...," Arizona murmured.

"Do you want me inside you?" Callie teased, as two of her fingers worked their way into Arizona's, very wet entrance. "Tell me, say you want it," she commanded, as her other hand grazed an engorged nipple.

"I-I want you inside me," Arizona whispered.

Callie removed her fingers and pressed her erection against Arizona's sex and pushed until she was completely buried inside her. Arizona's hand immediately went back to hold the armrest of the couch as Callie began moving. She was driving in and out of Arizona with so much force that the couch started to slightly move under the intense pressure. She lifted one of Arizona's legs over her shoulder so she could have more access, and her hands came down to rest on the sides of Arizona's head.

Arizona couldn't breathe. Literally. Her head was becoming light, but her sex was quivering. She didn't know what the hell Callie was doing to her, but she didn't want her to stop. Every time it was a different kind of extreme feeling. The more they had sex, the more they craved. She felt her orgasm building and her eyes rolled back as her body trembled. She felt Callie's hand move again as she placed her other leg over her shoulder and fucked her even harder, if that were possible.

Damn it. Callie thought. Arizona was like a kryptonite to her. She seemed to go weak and silly every time she was inside Arizona. This is where she constantly wanted to be. She thought about it while she was on important business calls, when she should have been concentrating. She hadn't enjoyed sex this much since...well, a long time. And partly because Callie knew that there was a part of Arizona that hated getting this turned on for her. Arizona fought against it, and THAT caused her to get really turned on. Knowing that, in her own way Arizona was playing hard to get…was something Callie couldn't get enough of.

She was hoping she wasn't hurting Arizona, but right now, she was about to come and she wanted to get as far into Arizona's tight vagina as she could. Callie finally stilled herself inside Arizona and released her first load. "Ugh, fuck! Damn, Arizona...," she mumbled as she continued to pump deep inside her.

Once Callie was completely emptied, she let Arizona's legs drop down beside her and she lowered herself on top of Arizona. She could feel Arizona's heart beating under her ear and that felt like music to Callie's ear. A steady fast pace. They stayed like that for a while.

"tu vas a ser la muerte para mi," Callie muttered to herself, before she sat up and then went straight to the bathroom.

When she came back, Arizona was still lying on the couch. Arizona rose up and stared at her.

"What does that mean..,the thing you just said in Spanish…I think?" she asked.

"Nothing," Callie said as she straightened out her appearance. She needed to get out of there. Arizona was messing with her mind.

"Hey, I need you ready by seven. Mark's wife is having some guests over for dinner and they invited you. I'll be back then to pick you up," Callie said, as she rushed out of the door. She didn't want to wait long enough to respond to Arizona's questioning eyes.

Arizona sighed and walked to the bedroom to take an afternoon nap. She was already exhausted, and didn't really feel like going out again. She fell asleep thinking about Callie helping her with the rent. She still didn't know how she felt about it, but perhaps that was one less stressful matter off her plate.

When Arizona woke up, she decided to take a warm bath in her humongous tub. She leaned back and let the water pressure streams massage her back. She placed a warm washcloth over her eyes and tried to block out her crazy life.

After a nice relaxing bath, Arizona decided to get out. She felt a little better, but she only had a few hours before the party, and she wanted to finish reading her book. She placed a white robe around her and walked into the bedroom to pick out an outfit.

Arizona was about to slide on a pair of panties when she heard the TV turn on in the front room. She sighed. Callie was back early and Arizona was sure she was ready for round two. She made her way down the hall.

"Callie, you're not going to leave me with much energy for—," Arizona started and then froze when icy hazel eyes turned to glare at her. But they weren't Callie's eyes. God, give her strength. These eyes belonged to Penny. She was sitting on the couch, shoes off with her legs pulled up underneath her. She had been flipping through the TV channels when Arizona entered the room.

Both women stared at each other. Awkward.

"Hello Robbins," Penny smirked, turning the TV off.

Arizona tried her best to hide her frown. "Hi, Penny. What are you doing here?"

"Well, technically I live here. this is, after all, my girlfriend's condo. So what are YOU doing here? I thought you didn't know her," Penny said, standing up and slipping back into her heels, placing her a little over six feet tall. Arizona wondered how Penny even managed to walk in heels this high.

Arizona sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Penny, whatever is going on between you and Callie is your business. None of mine."

"Well, since you're fucking her, I guess it makes it your business too," Penny stated, walking towards her.

Arizona braced herself. Because if this bitch touched her, she would smack the shit out of her. She could give a damn if it was Callie's girlfriend or not. Arizona was sick of people trying to run all over her.

"I mean, trust me, I know Callie is no angel. She was screwing around with other women even when we were in a 'loving' committed relationship. She's gorgeous, she's rich, and in the bedroom...well, you and I both know what can happen. So I figure one little flaw like infidelity...who cares, right? As long as at the end of the day...she comes back to me." Penny saw the color drain from Arizona's face and smiled internally.

Penny continued to stare at Arizona as she circled her.

"But that's where I'm confused about you. Why is Callie letting you stay here and attend parties? You can tell me. It will be our little secret."

Arizona exhaled. "I have to get dressed. Excuse me," she said, as she pushed past Penny and walked into the bedroom. She heard Penny's heels following behind her.

Shit! Why won't this crazy woman just leave?!

"I see Callie left her mark on you," she heard Penny say. Arizona turned around, "What?" she asked, irritated. Penny pointed to her neck. Arizona quickly turned around and rolled her eyes.

"You must be an even bigger slut in bed than I am, for Callie to still be with you," Penny said.

Arizona was done with this woman. She turned around quickly and walked up to her. "You know what, why the hell are you even here? Since you're so determined to make your business with Callie, 'our' business, then fine, I'll jump in. Why the hell aren't you with Callie? You're obviously not living with her and I didn't even know you existed until the party that night," Arizona huffed out.

Penny's eyes widened and then narrowed at her. "Please little girl, I can have Callie back anytime I want….," Penny said, while flicking her hair behind her back.

"Then go get her and leave me the hell alone! If you want her so much. Then go, fight for Callie. Not with me. I'm not going to stop you, trust me!….you….you are picking up the wrong battle!" Arizona felt drained. She didn't know how much of all this drama she can handle any more.

Penny opened her mouth like she was about to say something, but then closed it. She turned and stomped out of the room. Arizona heard the door open, but then heard Penny yell, "Don't get too comfortable, sweetheart. Callie gets bored really easily...and it's just a matter of time before you're right back on the streets where you came from!" And then the door slammed.

Arizona grabbed a hanger and threw it across the room.

Damn, Callie. damn, damn, DAMN!

Arizona hated these types of things with Callie. No one knew her, so she was pretty sure they all assumed she was some loose girl that Callie had picked up for the night. At least Mark would be there. He always made her feel more at ease. He treated her like a person and not some expendable trash.

Callie picked her up exactly at seven. Callie was dressed casual in a black high-neck, full-sleeves woollen t-shirt and a pair of jeans and leather boots. Arizona felt like she was a bit overdressed in her all-red knee-length dress. Callie gave her a kiss on the cheek with a sweet smile on her face but Arizona just nodded and exited towards the elevator. She couldn't be bothered with a smile when her head was so muddled up after Penny's visit.

When they arrived at Mark's house, a tiny woman with brunette hair opened the door to greet them. "Hey Callie, looking good as always," she laughed, while giving Callie a hug. "Likewise—when can I steal you away from him?" Callie returned. She laughed and patted Callie on the shoulder, then turned her attention to Arizona. "Hi, I'm Lexie, Mark's wife," she said, offering her hand.

"Oh, hi, I'm Arizona. Nice to meet you."

"Callie," Lexie said, "Mark and the folks are in the living room. Make yourself at home while I become acquainted with your guest."

Arizona watched as Callie left her with this stranger. She stared at the woman. She was a cute petite woman with big brown eyes. She seemed the complete opposite of Mark, who was big and blonde.

"Here, let me take that," she said to Arizona, while pulling her coat from her.

"Thanks," Arizona said. Lexie led Arizona down the hallway and towards the kitchen. Arizona felt a little at ease considering this was Mark's wife. Maybe she was as nice as he was.

"So, you're Arizona...Penny's rival," Lexie laughed, as she handed Arizona a glass of champagne. Okay, maybe she wasn't as nice. She was a bit surprised by how much Lexie knew about her already.

Arizona didn't want to be rude to Mark's wife, so she said nothing as she sipped on the glass of champagne. Screw it, she needed more than a few sips with the way her day had been going. She tipped the glass up and swallowed the rest.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything by that. It's just that I can't stand Penny. She can die a thousand deaths for all that I'm concerned about. Trust me, I barely know you, but I'm Team Arizona all the way," Lexie said.

That shocked the hell out of Arizona. She stared down at Lexie and laughed. Okay, maybe Lexie wasn't so bad after all.

"Sit by me at dinner. I want to hear how you stole her limelight and her woman at the party the other night. I arrived late, but I heard about it and I've been smiling ever since," Lexie said, smiling at her. She linked her arm around Arizona and the two walked into the dining room together.

Arizona felt comically stunned.

At dinner, Arizona was introduced to everyone. Most of them were Mexican-American or just American, and a few of them were related to either Mark or Lexie. All of them knew who Callie was, and she was sure they knew what she did, but they didn't seem to care. They all told jokes and stories as the food was passed around. Food that was absolutely amazing. Lexie was probably the best cook ever, next to Arizona's own mother. Lexie showed Arizona pictures of her kids. She and Mark had three girls.

Arizona glanced at Callie, who was sitting opposite her at the table. She thought about Callie with a kid. She would probably have a girl...who would get into as much trouble as Callie probably did as a kid. Arizona looked at her empty champagne glass. She had already downed her third glass. She normally didn't drink, and especially not this much, but Penny's words were still messing with her. Why was Callie doing stuff like this? Helping her with her rent and bringing her to an intimate dinner with her close friends…..this isn't even a business party where Callie might have needed an arm candy. She was sure this was reserved mainly for family and girlfriends. Sure, she was invited by Mark, but Callie could have declined. She wasn't her girlfriend or wife like Callie kept reminding her.

Arizona picked up the champagne bottle and poured herself another glass. 'Screw Penny and Callie,' she thought. Well, she wanted to hate Callie, but she had come to her rescue against evil Mr. Stark. But why?

She noticed, out of the corner of her eye, Callie nod to Mark who was sitting beside her, and Mark moved the champagne bottle closer to him and out of Arizona's reach. Well, screw it, at least she'd get to drink this fourth full glass. She started downing it. When she was done draining the glass, she knew Callie was probably staring at her with her questioning eyes, but she tried not to look back at her.

Somehow the topic of conversation moved to the economy, and Owen, a friend of Mark's, decided to voice his opinion. "Man, the economy is so fucked and those wolves in Wall Street and mortgage companies started all of this shit."

"Yeah, well perhaps there's no place for decency in the modern world," Callie chimed in.

"It's like, get yours while you can and screw everyone else. Man, it's so cutthroat out there nowadays. You really have to watch your investments," said Lexie's sister Molly, while shaking her head.

"Well, regular businessmen fall by the waste side now. You have to come to the table with something extra or different," Callie added.

"That's right," Owen said.

Arizona was really starting to feel her buzz. She had been quiet the whole time, while everyone chatted around her. But Owen just had to call her out. "What do you think, Arizona," he said. The whole table got quiet, waiting for her to respond.

Arizona quickly glanced around the table. Shit. "Well, I always think there's a place for decency. At the end of the day, money isn't everything. It never was," Arizona said, moving her eyes to lock at Callie. She shouldn't have had that last glass. She felt herself leaning in her seat. They might not be able to tell she was a little tipsy, but she could feel it.

"Yeah, but where does decency get you?" Callie asked. All eyes flew to her. "Some people live their lives trying to be decent human beings, and all that they get is screwed over by the world. Friends, lovers...," she turned to stare directly at Arizona. "Fathers, landlords and even me. So I forfeit decency for power any day."

A couple of the men around the table mumbled in agreement. Arizona just stared at Callie, and then down at her bread and picked a small piece from it.

"Well, decent people hold some power over the people with power that you just mentioned," Arizona disputed.

"How so?" Callie asked.

The entire table were leaning on their elbows watching this verbal volley back and forth between Callie and Arizona. Arizona glanced at Lexie and noticed that she was smiling from ear to ear at her. Arizona was nervous. She didn't want everyone paying so close attention. You could only hear the fireplace crackling in the background.

"Guilt. The power decent people hold over those who aren't, is guilt. Those that screw over people feel guilty," Arizona stated. At least she hoped they felt guilty.

Callie felt taken aback because maybe there's some truth to it, but her anger quickly overcame her feelings.

"Usually the people screwing people over, Arizona, don't have a conscience. They don't care who they hurt to get what they want. And at the end of the day, it's more about the chase than it is actually getting what you want. Once you have it, it becomes boring. And people like that also don't spare a glance back at the lives they've ruined. And when they lay their heads on their pillow at night, they sleep peacefully, and guilt free, because they don't have any sympathy for the weak," Callie stated calmly, and then took a sip of champagne. Those words felt like ice on her tongue. For so long, she has been going to bed guilt free but that was not true anymore because off-lately Callie was not able to sleep at all. But she couldn't let anyone in this room know that. She can't show a dent in her armour.

Everyone was quiet for a moment, letting Callie's words sink in. Arizona felt a familiar sting behind her eyes. Callie was talking about her. She wanted so badly to get up from the table and leave. But not before she told Callie off. Everyone looked at her again, but she quickly stared at her plate. She had drank way too much.

To break the uncomfortable silence, Lexie chimed in. "But, if you believe in Heaven, then your decency can buy you a one way ticket. Those who have sacrificed their humanity for the sake of a few bucks...may never see that." Mark smiled over at her wife.

"Lex, you are right. For those that believe in that, I'm sure the decent ones do go to Heaven. And that's probably not where I'm going, but I can tell you right now...the devil is going to have one hell of a battle for my soul," Callie said with a grin.

Everyone finally relaxed and laughed. Everyone but Arizona. She stared at Callie. Why did Callie affect her so much.

"Speaking of battling the devil for our souls, I don't think there's a decent person among us tonight. So you're not alone Callie. We'll be fighting the battle with you," another friend said. More laughs erupted from the table.

"Us women are decent by nature. I'm a loving wife and mother of three," Lexie smiled. "So while you people are sweating an eternity in hell, we'll be living it up on the other side."

"I'm not decent," a dirty blonde-headed woman over in the corner said, while smiling devilishly at Owen. "Amen," he said, while he kissed her.

"What about you Arizona, are you decent?" Molly asked. Arizona looked up. Screw it, why hide the truth. Thank God for alcohol.

"You know, I don't think I am. I mean, I used to be a decent person before I came here and started screwing a-," was the last thing she said, before Mark jerked her up. "Hey Robbins, let's go outside for some fresh air," he said, practically picking her up. Lexie excused herself and followed behind her husband.

Callie remained seated and calm as the eyes around the table quickly glanced at her then down at their food. She got up from the table. "Excuse me," she said as she walked toward the back.

Outside, the cool air felt good against Arizona's skin. She needed that. Mark placed her gently on a bench in their back yard, while Lexie wiped her face with a cool, wet cloth. "I'm sorry about that," Arizona slurred to them.

"It's okay honey, we all drink a little too much," Lexie said.

"What the hell am I doing here?!" Arizona shouted at no one in particular.

"I'll take it from here," she heard Callie say from behind. Lexie handed Arizona the cloth and kissed her on the forehead. "Thank you," Arizona mumbled as Lexie and Mark walked away.

Callie came around to stand in front of her. Arizona didn't even have the energy to look at her.

"Arizona, look at me," Callie said.

She slowly looked up at Callie.

"You can't let what people say affect you so easily. You have to be stronger than that."

Arizona scoffed. Was Callie really trying to give her lessons on how she should live her life? Please.

"I'm serious. I'm not going to hold my tongue because you are pissed at god knows what."

"Why are you trying to give me words of wisdom? You don't give a shit about me, so just take me back to the loft, fuck me and then leave, okay?" Arizona was fuming, alcohol and anger coursing through her veins at a rapid speed.

Callie narrowed her eyes on Arizona. Her own anger returned tenfold. "Fine, get your shit and let's go," she bit out and turned to walk back into the house. But then she stopped and said, "Just know that for that little outburst and your disappearing act at my party...you've earned another fourteen days. Congratulations."

DAMNIT! So much for trying to play the game her way, Arizona thought.

Later that night, after she dropped Arizona at her loft, Callie stopped by one of her restaurants. Even though it was closed, she wanted to stay there for some peace and quiet before she had to go back to her house. There always seemed to be people around there. Truthfully, she would have rather sleep at the loft tonight, but after her and Arizona's little moment at Mark's party. She didn't feel like staying over.

Callie stared down at the blank sheet of paper. She had a secret passion that only two people knew about, one being Mark. When she had tough decisions to make or was just stressed, she would draw free-style designs of buildings. Her designs were one of the reasons her restaurants were such a hit. She had actually gone to college for architecture and design, but she knew it was all in vain. She knew she would take over for her father some day, and when she graduated, she did. Even though she wasn't the oldest in their family, she and her father both knew that she was the only one with the mindset to keep the 'business' afloat. But every now and then Callie was able to resurrect her private hobby. She had off-recently designed her club and their second Indian restaurant. Both had turned out better than she could have imagined, especially her club.

But tonight, her stress didn't come from her job. It was coming from Arizona. Callie had promised herself that she wouldn't let Arizona get to her, but she wasn't making too good on that promise. Arizona's words tonight at dinner affected her more than she thought. More than she wanted to admit.

'The power decent people hold over those who aren't, is guilt,' Arizona had told her.

Callie wanted to laugh it off. What power could Arizona possibly hold over her?

But…

She did feel guilty. There she was trying to tell Arizona not to let others' words affect her so much, but yet Arizona's words had touched her.

In life, Callie usually didn't hold any remorse for what she did, how she grew, but with Arizona, there was no question that she was a better person than Callie was. And Arizona wasn't as weak as Callie thought she was. For a person who has no money or power, to hold her head up high despite feeling humiliated on a daily basis...that took some courage.

And she had looked so beautiful tonight, and almost happy, but Callie had to go screw it up by putting her back in her 'place'.

Callie sighed as she leaned back in her chair. Trying to fight off the sting behind her eyes. She stared at the chair opposite of her and realized that just a few weeks ago, Arizona had sat in that chair to explain her situation to her. Arizona had come to her, probably scared and ashamed, looking for help...and how did she treat her? Like Arizona didn't fucking matter.

If she were being truthful, she had just planned to fuck Arizona that night and get rid of her. She was sure Arizona couldn't satisfy her the way she wanted, or that she would get bored after one lay. So she had planned to write-off her father's debt and call it even. But, when she had gone into her loft, and Arizona hit her and then threatened to cut her, that lit something in Callie. Arizona wasn't a pushover like Callie thought she was during their brief meeting.

Callie's stomach turned and she felt bile rise to her throat when she thought of how Arizona had looked at her when she had asked her to remove her clothes in this very office. She knew that if Arizona had any other option...she would have taken it and probably kicked Callie in the nuts on the way out. But Arizona was desperate and Callie had taken advantage of that. She had ripped Arizona's cheap black dress, not caring that it might be the only one she had. Fuck, Callie thought , she could be an asshole sometimes. It never bothered her to be called that before, but now...for some reason, she didn't want Arizona to think that of her.

Callie leaned her head against her desk. She knew that their arrangement was something that would end eventually, and Arizona would go her separate way, and Callie would go back to her life. But, in the meantime, she would try to make it up to Arizona. She would treat her differently. Yeah, starting tomorrow, she would turn over a new leaf with Arizona.

Callie smiled. Just thinking about Arizona was making her feel better.

Over the next few days, Callie tried keep her promise to herself to treat Arizona better. But Arizona didn't make it easy on her. At first, Arizona barely said two words to her. Callie would ask her a question, and a simple "yes" or "no" would be Arizona's only answer. And when she tried to ask a question that would require more than those generic replies, Arizona would simply turn to her, plaster on a fake smile and say, "whatever you want is fine".

Oh, Arizona was getting under Callie's skin so bad. But Callie kept her cool. It was just a part of her nature. Remain cool and calm at all times. But Arizona was seriously trying her nature. But Callie also realized it was Arizona's only defense against her. Arizona couldn't physically beat her, so she would try to mentally overpower Callie. And fuck, if it wasn't working! And just when Callie would be ready to snap, Arizona's words about 'guilt' would slowly creep back into her mind.

Callie did feel guilty, and she found herself wanting Arizona to be happy.

So, on several occasions, she would show up at the loft multiple times in a day, bring Arizona flowers, or sometimes a box full of donuts, or sometimes a bag full of greasy food. Callie was making sure that she showed up every day and try her very best to make Arizona smile again. Sometimes Callie would show up and beat her in a game of scrabble, or just sit and watch TV shows or movies with her. Arizona seemed to like those sappy Lifetime movies, and although it was painful for Callie to watch them, she would. And during these times, slowly but surely, Arizona started to warm up to her again and she even caught Arizona smiling a few times.

So worth all the efforts.

The other day, she took Arizona to an art museum. Callie actually never cared much for those types of things, but Arizona seemed fascinated with it. Arizona told her that she had never been to an art museum before. When she was in grade school, they had taken a field trip to a museum, but had to pay for their own entrance into the museum. Her father was so tight with money, that she wasn't able to go, and instead spent that class period reading. That had made Callie feel even worse. But watching her bounce from painting to painting helped to quell some of that negativity. Although she found it all boring, Arizona especially loved the Baroque paintings. Arizona stared at them for several minutes, while Callie had stared at her. She also couldn't keep her hands off of Arizona either, and every now and then she would kiss Arizona's neck or squeeze her ass, while Arizona would 'ooh' and 'aah' over each painting.

Arizona didn't know why the change in Callie had happened, but Callie seemed different towards her. Callie had quit taunting her with the fact that she was using Arizona. At first she had resisted and tried to act like a robot. Only answering yes and no and acting aloof.

After 3 full days of dancing around each other and Callie pulling every charming quality ever known to mankind, she finally gave in. Callie had her pinned on the bed and Arizona had thought that she would just lie there in bed as Callie had her way with her, but no matter how hard she tried not to come, it always happened, and Callie always grinned at her like a little girl, because she knew Arizona was trying to withhold.

One new thing was the change in how Callie carried herself around Arizona. Gone were the power suits and daunting coats. More and more times Callie would show up at the loft dressed in a pair of jeans and flowy tops of classic colors. The nails that used to be painted only in black, got painted in red, purple and maroon more often. The hair that always used to stay sleeked away, flowed around in wild tresses more often. And the lips that always used to be painted red, got painted in lighter undertones of pink, cream and brown colors more often. Callie didn't think Arizona or anyone for that matter noticed. She wasn't making these changes or actually going back to her true self subconsciously…but Arizona noticed. Arizona noticed everything.

Another new development was the fact that she was able to spend more time at Callie's mansion now. She started meeting more and more people that worked for her, as Callie openly flaunted her around. Callie even held her hand as they entered several places. She still didn't introduce her as anything more than just 'Arizona', but at least she wasn't ignoring her anymore when there were people around. Callie would actually laugh and have conversations with her about different things. Turns out Callie had a full-blown infectious laugh that made tiny little butterflies erupt in Arizona's stomach every time it happened.

Yes, Callie had changed ever since Mark's party.

AN 1 - You guys surprised me with the number of reviews for the last chapter and hence a quicker update. P.S I don't know Spanish and Google was my only help.

AN 2 - Thoughts on this chapter? Callie added more days but she also had an epiphany. How long will Callie's change of heart last? Will Callie & Arizona be able to ward off the growing feelings between them?

AN 3 - Just to be clear. And though I never want to share any spoilers on future chapters, but since I see so many reviews around it, I might just be clear that I will not be writing any pregnancy in this story as of now. Now's really not the time.
