It was a random Tuesday when the world turned a whole lot brighter and Arizona's whole life changed. Again. Oh, boy did it change. She had been feeling a little off, so she did what most women did in that situation. Visit the local drugstore.

Arizona just couldn't believe it. She could, but she couldn't all at the same time. Pregnant?! She sat there on the bathroom counter for what felt like an hour, but in actuality had only been five minutes.

Pregnant.

Again.

And that too so soon.

It's definitely something that she and Callie wanted eventually, she just wasn't expecting it to happen so soon. Really soon, since they had only been married for a little over a month. The honeymoon was just last month. She knew Callie would be happy about it, because she is the one who tossed out her birth control, but she still didn't expect it to happen SO soon. Arizona didn't know what she felt. A part of her was ecstatic. But the other part was scared shitless because of what happened last time. Her brain acted quickly. She needed to confirm it. Last time, so much of the time was spent on doubting things that she didn't want to go that route again.

Arizona hopped off the counter and wrapped the device in a huge wad of tissue and placed it in the trash. Eventually a big smile spread across her face.

They were going to have a baby.

The next day a quick but suspenseful trip to an OB/GYN in the area confirmed what Arizona had suspected. But she wanted to break the news to Callie in a memorable and...sexy way.

Callie was worn out. She had been in meetings all day with different clients who wanted to do business with her design unit. Turns out when she doesn't use her menacing prowess, it takes a lot more to convince the clients about her credibility in the area. She would be so glad when her restaurants and clubs will pick up pace in this new market, and she won't have to make claims around herself.

When she unlocked the front door, the inside of the house was much darker than normal. She noticed there were several candles lit, giving the room a warm glow. And the heavenly smell of cooking must have connected to her senses, because her stomach grumbled as if on cue.

Callie quietly closed the door and walked toward the bright light coming from the kitchen. And just like that...her hunger was forgotten, as she could feel herself getting aroused at what stood before her.

Arizona stood with her back to her, giving her the perfect view of her supple, round rear in a pair of light pink lacey panties that showcased the lower part of her ass cheeks. And a garter belt clipped the sexy thigh high stockings in place, which led down to black "fuck me" heels. And that was just the back of Arizona.

Goddamn.

Callie loosened out of her leather jacket and sat her keys on the counter. The small jingle caused Arizona to turn around and face her. Arizona's breasts sat perfectly in the light pink lace bra. God bless Cristina. She had to remember to give Cristina an extra tip for how well she had put-together Arizona's wardrobe.

Her wife was fucking hot!

"Hey baby," Arizona said, smiling at Callie. She loved the pure animalistic expression on Callie's face. Well, for those games, she would have to wait.

"Like what you see?" Arizona asked, slowly spinning around, with a spoon in her hand as she licked the white chocolate from her fingers. The contrast was not lost on Callie, as her mouth parted.

"Oh, yeah," Callie whispered.

"Well, tonight...we'll call underwear night," Arizona said, as she cleaned off her hands and walked towards Callie. Arizona immediately kneeled, and Callie closed her eyes on instinct. But instead of doing what she...well, hoped, Arizona unbuckled her belt, yanked her pants down and stood back up. Then Arizona removed her top.

Callie stepped out of the pants puddled by her ankles. Once everything else was removed, including socks and shoes, Callie stood there in her black underwear and black lace bra.

Arizona grabbed Callie's hand and led her into the living room and over to the couch, the most extravagant piece of furniture they had in the room.

Callie couldn't help but stare at Arizona's ass as she swayed her hips back and forth in front of her.

"Okay, you sit down right here," Arizona said, patting the sofa. When Callie sat down, Arizona straddled her lap.

"I have something I want to give you," Arizona whispered.

"Is it this?" Callie said, reaching down to stroke her fingers between Arizona's legs. "Because if it is, I'll be the happiest woman in the world."

Arizona giggled and pulled Callie's hand away. "No."

Callie couldn't stop touching her. She wanted to plaster her lips all over Arizona's body, along with her hands and other body parts. She buried her face in Arizona's neck, and pulled down one of her bra straps.

"Wait, wait, Callie," Arizona said, trying to stop Callie's roaming hands over her breasts, but Callie wasn't making it easy. She felt so damn good, and as Callie lightly pinched her nipples through the lacey barrier…Arizona put a hold on the advances.

"Callie, uh, stop. I want to give you something first," Arizona said, pushing her back. Callie finally leaned back and sighed.

Arizona reached under one of the sofa pillows and pulled out a thin rectangular shaped gift, wrapped in bright yellow paper. She could barely contain her smile as she gave it to Callie.

"What is this? And couldn't this wait until after?" Callie muttered as she looked at it, then back at Arizona.

"Open," Arizona said, still beaming from ear to ear, her dimples practically spilling out of her face. Callie couldn't remember ever seeing Arizona smiling 'this' wide.

Callie stared at her wife for a while, then started to remove the paper from the gift. She could feel it was hard, and more than likely a book. Once the last shred of bright yellow was removed, Callie flipped the book over.

"Goodnight Moon," she said, then looked up at Arizona with quizzical eyes.

Arizona smiled, "That was the first book my mom read to me as a baby."

Callie looked down at it. "Yeah, my mom too, but-," then Arizona felt Callie's body jump underneath her. Callie's head snapped to Arizona's face and her eyes were wide. She quickly looked down at Arizona's stomach and then back up to her face.

"Are you-"

"Yes," Arizona whispered, her eyes searching Callie's eyes back and forth for any disappointment. Luckily, she didn't see any.

"Are you sure, I mean ha—have you actually been to th—the doctor…last time—," Callie rushed out. Arizona laughed. This was the first time she had ever heard Callie stutter over her words. Normally she was never taken off guard either.

"Yes. She confirmed it. Are you happy?" Arizona asked, biting her bottom lip.

"Am I happy?" Callie asked incredulously. Of course she was! She could barely think straight. They were going to have a baby. They were again pregnant and that too so soon. A little tiny person will step into their life soon. Holy shit!

"Have you told anyone else?"

"No. Just you. I wanted you to be the first," Arizona said, leaning toward Callie for a kiss. But in that moment, Callie's lust took over. She pushed Arizona back and gently moved them from the sofa to the cushioned carpeted floor.

The way she felt at the moment, Callie didn't have time to waste removing anymore clothing. She rolled over on her back and pulled Arizona with her until she rested on top. She pulled down the top of Arizona's bra, until her full heaving milky white breasts rested over the top. Callie leaned up and gently licked and nipped at the hard buds. Arizona pushed Callie's underwear down, as her length finally sprung free. Callie moved Arizona's thin, almost see-through panties to the side and slowly lowered Arizona down onto her waiting member. Both of them sighed in unison.

Even though they had already made love early that morning before she left, Callie just couldn't get enough of Arizona. And now hearing that Arizona was pregnant with her child, just caused a jolt of horniness to travel down through her body, settling in the lower region.

Arizona leaned her head back as she rocked her hips smoothly over Callie, loving the feel of her thick shaft sliding in and out of her stretched sex. Callie's large warm hands grabbed her tits and massaged them, causing her body to respond by rocking faster.

"Mmm, damn Callie."

Oh, Arizona's body was gripping her length so tightly, Callie knew she wasn't going to last as long as she normally did. But truthfully she had been worked up from the moment she saw Arizona standing in the kitchen wearing that sexy lingerie.

Arizona leaned down to kiss Callie as she felt the scalp tingling sensation and she started to orgasm.

"Oh, Callie...Callie, ugh," Arizona mumbled as her body shook, and her eyes rolled back.

Callie held her wife's back tighter, squeezing her soft breasts against her own heaving globes, while she pushed deep inside her and came.

After a few moments, Arizona finally spoke. "Damn, that was...it was...," she said, searching for the right word.

"Astounding, mind-blowing, incredible and a million other adjectives that my brain is too tired to think of."

"Exactly," Arizona huffed out, a little out of breath from their workout.

"I'm going to be a mom," Callie said, more to herself than her. She still couldn't believe it. She had wanted it...the night she threw out Arizona's pills, but fuck that wasn't that long ago. God this all felt so overwhelming.

"Everything is going to change for us. Or at least that's what people say," Arizona said.

"I'm ready for it," Callie said, praying that she really was and that this time the universe will align the stars in favour of them.

Click...BANG!

"Fuck!" Callie shouted, as she raised up in bed. She quickly glanced around the dark room and noticed she had startled Arizona from her sleep.

"Callie!" Arizona screamed, pushing the covers from her body and moving closer to her wife. "Calliope, what's wrong?"

Callie couldn't say anything. She just sat there, sweating and trying to compose herself. Arizona was trying to grab onto her, but she was holding Arizona at an arm's length. Callie couldn't believe she shouted like that, all because of a nightmare. How pathetic.

"Are you okay?" Arizona asked, worried.

Callie swung her legs off the side of the bed and rested her face in her hands. "Yes, I'm fine. Go back to sleep, baby."

Arizona knew that this was Callie's way of shutting her out. She watched as Callie stood up, pulled on some workout pants, threw on a sweatshirt and walked to the door.

"Where are you going?" Arizona asked.

Callie didn't bother turning around. "I need some fresh air."

Callie quickly jogged downstairs and out the front door. The cool night air felt good against her sweating skin. She closed her eyes and plopped down on the cold brick steps. She needed to get her shit together.

This had been the third time she had that nightmare in this week…..Five times since she had heard the baby news.

A few seconds later, she heard the front door open. Arizona walked down the steps and turned so that she was facing her. Callie looked up at her as she sat down on her lap.

She caressed Callie's face in her tiny hands. "Callie, are you sure you're okay? You know you can tell me anything."

Not this. She just couldn't. Arizona didn't need to be stressed out anyway. Their gynaecologist had specifically told them to take it easy.

"I'm fine, baby. Let's go back to bed," Callie said as she stood, holding Arizona in her arms. She smiled when Arizona giggled and wrapped her arms around her, burying her face into Callie's neck.

But then Arizona pulled back so that she could see Callie's face. "I almost forgot...you never carried me over the threshold!"

"I didn't? Well, I'll make up for that now," Callie said, kissing her wife's sweet lips and carrying her back into the house and upstairs to bed. She gently laid her down and removed what little bit of clothing they had been wearing.

The moment she buried her face in Arizona's bosom, she immediately relaxed. Yes, this was what she wanted to think about when she fell back asleep. Her wife and her child. That's all she needed and all she wanted to dream about.

Even after their lengthy lovemaking session, Callie held Arizona close in her arms until she fell back to sleep—never wanting to let her go.

It was early Saturday morning, and Arizona was trying a new color for the baby room for the third time. Nothing seemed to fit...but not knowing the sex of the baby affected her choice as well.

"Shit," she whispered to herself when the light sea green color she applied to the wall dried darker than she had hoped. She was about to call Callie out of her home office for her opinion, when she heard the doorbell ring.

Since the baby news, they had both agreed to work for fewer hours and to do all the meetings & paperworks from home. Arizona would still spend the first half of the day at her restaurant and Callie would still stay out till the evening, but both have agreed that by 7pm, they would call it a day.

The doorbell sound startled Arizona for a second, because they definitely didn't have many visitors except for Mark & Lexie or their 3 adorable girls, but they barely ever rang a bell, most of the time they would come through the patio doors. They didn't knew anyone else in the neighbourhood, and Callie preferred it that way.

Arizona trotted downstairs and looked through the oval glass of the wooden door. She saw a tall, nice looking black man. She opened the door.

The man looked down at her and instantly smiled. "Hi. I live a few houses down, and I just wanted to welcome you and your partner into the neighborhood. I saw a moving truck a few weeks ago, and my apologies for just now coming, but I wanted to wait until you got settled," he said, as he extended his hand to her.

Arizona immediately smiled back, taking in his warm eyes and pleasant smile. She offered her hand as well. "Thank you so much. I'm Arizona Robbins."

"Nice to meet you, Arizona. I'm Eli Lloyd."

"Would you like to come in?" Arizona asked, making room for him to enter.

"Are you sure, I don't want to impose. You look like you're busy," he said, giving her a once-over with her paint splattered clothing. She realized how crazy she must look.

"Not at all. Plus, I need an excuse to take a break. Let me call my wife," Arizona replied. "Callie, I-," she turned to yell, but quickly quieted when she saw her wife standing right behind her.

Callie had been standing at the top of the stairs when she heard her wife talking to someone. The guy's voice didn't sound familiar, but Callie still didn't trust many people. The moment Arizona invited the stranger in, Callie had quietly begun descending the stairs to make her presence known.

"Callie," she said, offering her hand to the stranger.

"Eli. Nice to meet you." The two gave each other a firm handshake, never taking their eyes off one another. Arizona inwardly groaned. What's with sizing each other up?

But then Eli turned and glanced around. "This is a really beautiful home. I always wanted to get a peek inside. Just the two of you?"

Arizona patted her tummy. "Well, we're expecting, so soon to be three," she smiled.

"Congratulations...that's wonderful. My daughter was born not too long ago. 'My beautiful handful' is what I like to call her," Eli chuckled.

"She sounds absolutely adorable," Arizona said, grabbing ahold of Callie's hand.

"She is...but I'm biased," Eli stated, smiling back at her.

Arizona glanced behind her and then turned back to Eli. "I'm sorry, the house is a bit of a mess as we are decorating the nursery," she admitted. "But please, have a seat. Would you like something to drink?"

Eli walked over to the couch and sat down. "Oh, sure. Coffee, please. If it's not too much trouble."

"Of course not. Callie?" Arizona said, turning to her wife.

"I'm good, baby."

When Arizona walked out, Callie decided to question this stranger a little further. She couldn't help it. Her old lifestyle made her wary of people who came claiming nothing but good intentions.

"So...what line of work are you in?" Callie asked, leaning against the wall.

"I'm a Commander with the U.S. Navy SEAL program. Used to be an active SEAL myself, before I voluntarily retired. How about you, Callie? What do you do for a living?"

Both of them stared at each other for a moment. Something about knowing Eli's background made Callie uneasy.

"I'm a restaurateur and an architect. I recently opened up my company downtown."

"What did I miss?" Arizona interrupted, as she came bouncing back into the room, handing Eli his cup. She walked over to Callie, and leaned against her.

Callie placed her arm around Arizona's shoulders. "Our new neighbor was a Commander in the Navy SEALs," Callie said, with not much enthusiasm in her voice.

Arizona's eyes widened. "Oh, wow. Shouldn't we call you by title or something?"

Eli chuckled. "No, you don't have to."

Arizona looked up at Callie, to see if she had any more questions, but she just more or less stared at Eli. Arizona started feeling uncomfortable. She decided to fill the awkward space with more questions.

"Your daughter, what's her name?"

"Elina. It's a mixture of her mom and my name."

"That's beautiful. Elina. Maybe you can visit us with your daughter and your wife soon."

Eli nodded in agreement.

Another awkward silence filled the room.

"So, I guess I should be heading off now. I have some work to finish up," Eli stated, while standing.

Arizona felt awful, but she wasn't sure what else to say to convince him to stay longer. Callie sure wasn't helping.

"Would you like me to take this to the kitchen?" Eli asked, holding up his cup.

"No, I got it. Thank you so much for stopping by," Arizona said, taking the cup from his hand.

"My pleasure. And thanks for the coffee."

Arizona and Callie walked with him to the door. "It was nice meeting both of you," Eli said, before he walked down the steps and hopped into his car.

"You too!" Arizona yelled and waved goodbye.

Callie closed the door, barely letting her get her hand inside.

"Jesus, Callie. That was rude!"

"So let me get this straight...you invited a Navy SEAL to come visit us?"

"It's not like they're cops, Callie. Plus he is a veteran. He is retired. We live here now Callie, I want to know more people here" Arizona defended.

"But I'm sure they are really good at what they do. And I don't-," Callie started.

"Quit being so paranoid," Arizona said, placing her hands on her hips.

Callie closed her mouth and slowly nodded. "Paranoid, huh?" she said, while scratching her chin. She turned and walked back upstairs without another word being exchanged.

Later that night, after a quiet, uncomfortable meal on their new dining table, Arizona opted to cool off in their pool. They both had stayed too busy to actually enjoy it when they first moved in, so maybe tonight they could christen it with a little foreplay. Or so she hoped. Callie still had barely said a word to her since she called her paranoid.

They were near the deep end of the pool, so the water rested around the top portion of Callie's breasts. Arizona held onto her by wrapping her legs around Callie's waist and her arms around Callie's neck. She wanted Callie to talk to her. In truth, Callie hadn't really been the same since she woke from that nightmare a couple of weeks before. Arizona was starting to get concerned about her.

She lifted her head from Callie's shoulder and stared into her wife's solemn face. Callie's stare out into the back yard suggested that she was deep in thought. Arizona wanted Callie to let her into those hidden parts of her mind so badly.

"Callie?"

"Yes," Callie answered, still staring out.

"Are you mad at me? For letting Eli in and for calling you paranoid?" Arizona asked.

Callie turned her head to look at her. "No."

But that was all she said. No smile, no other explanation...just 'no'. Arizona tried to shake her hurt feelings and kiss her. But when her lips connected with Callie's, she felt no passion returned. She sighed and decided to try a new tactic.

"I can't wait to see Lucia tomorrow. I will pick her up at the airport at noon. Want us to stop by your office for lunch?"

Arizona watched Callie's face again. Callie didn't even bother to acknowledge her conversation this time. Her gaze never shifted from the water.

Arizona wasn't sure if Callie was mad at her or not, but she couldn't stand being ignored. If Callie would only tell her what was wrong….. She realized that divulging her feelings wasn't something Callie was used to or liked, but she was her wife, and Callie needed to open up.

After a few more moments of silence, Arizona pushed away from Callie and slowly paddled to the shallow section until her feet touched the bottom of the pool. She climbed out and grabbed her towel, wrapping it tightly around her.

"Where are you going?" she heard Callie ask. Well, two can play that game. She ignored Callie and walked into the house.

Arizona quickly showered and changed into one of Callie's oversized t-shirts. She grabbed a baby magazine that was lying on the nightstand and got into bed. Her back was to the door when she heard Callie enter their room. Glancing out of the corner of her eye, she watched Callie remove her swim wear, giving her an eyeful of her beautiful...well-endowed body. Callie walked into the bathroom and shut the door.

Arizona listened as the shower turned on, wishing she was in there with her. Arizona knew she was being a little difficult, but she couldn't stand when Callie shut her out, with no explanation. Didn't Callie realize she was crazy about her, and couldn't stand to see her hurting?! She continued to mindlessly flip through the magazine when the door to the bathroom opened. She chanced another small glance, and noticed Callie hadn't put anything on. Instead, she slid into the bed and turned the lamp on her side of the bed off.

Arizona sighed and turned to her side of the lamp and loudly turned another page.

"I'm sorry, baby," Arizona heard from behind her, as Callie's arms snaked around her waist. "I didn't mean to upset you. It's nothing, really."

Arizona turned to face Callie. "But you were thinking about something. Just tell me."

Callie remained silent.

"Wow! I thought I was supposed to be the hormonal and cranky one…..you sure it's you who isn't pregnant?" Arizona tried again and could see the guilt that came over Callie's face.

"Callie, whatever it is, I would feel better if you-"

"We don't have to talk about it anymore. I'm good," Callie quickly said, cutting her off and turning to lie on her back.

Nope...Arizona wasn't going to let this go so easily.

Arizona sat up in the bed. "Callie, you're doing it again. You're shutting me out. Don't do that!" she warned.

"It's because I don't want you being worried with all of the things I have going on in my head, Arizona. You don't need to deal with that."

"But I want to help you."

Callie was getting aggravated. "I don't need any help, now just let it go, okay?"

"Callie, I-"

"End of discussion," Callie snapped.

Oh, she had to say that phrase. Her 'shut up, don't say another word, none of your business' phrase that drove Arizona crazy. She had always thought to herself that if Callie ever said that one more time, she would scream. In fact...

"Aaaahhhhhh!" Arizona shrieked.

Callie quickly sat up, looking at her like she had lost her damn mind.

"What the fuck?" Callie fumed.

Arizona didn't bother answering her. Instead, she clicked off her night lamp and turned on her side, facing away from Callie. This was driving her crazy. Was something wrong? Were there still loose ends that hadn't been tied up before they moved? She wished Callie would trust her and just open up. But no, Callie went into detached, closed off mode when something bothered her. Would it always be this way?

"Aah! How's my nuera?" Lucia squealed when she spotted Arizona in the crowded airport. The two embraced tightly.

"I'm good, how are you?" Arizona asked, returning her hug.

"I have another grandbaby on the way, so I'm just perfect," Lucia gushed, as she reached down to stroke Arizona's stomach. Although there was barely a bump, Arizona felt a little self-conscious about her weight.

The pregnancy had been fairly easy this time around. Aside from her heightened smelling sense, she barely felt nauseated at anything, her hormones weren't driving her mad, and her libido was totally under her control….. Yup. This pregnancy couldn't go any better.

Once they packed Lucia's bags into the car, the two headed to the new house. Lucia talked a mile a minute, switching into Spanish every now and then as she talked about her children and what they were up to, and about her telling them the news of Callie having a baby. They were all ecstatic and very happy for Callie and wanted to hold a family gathering as soon as possible.

Arizona barely got a word in before they pulled up to the house. Once inside, Lucia quickly looked around downstairs then headed straight upstairs. Arizona shook her head, because she knew exactly what Lucia was looking for. When Arizona finally made it upstairs, she snickered to herself when she saw Lucia open the door to the would-be baby's room.

"Bingo!" she heard Lucia say. "What color are you two thinking about? I hope it's not plain white."

"No, we'll change it when we know the sex of the baby. But...you see why I need your help, right? I've never decorated this much on my own."

"Not to worry, we'll get this all taken care of. So, is Callie still at work?"

"Yes, she will be home in a few hours. She would have come with me to pick you up too, but she had several back to back meetings with new clients. Want to unpack and settle in?"

"Sure, just show me to my room."

When Lucia's clothes were put away, she joined Arizona in preparing dinner. Even though Arizona kept telling her to sit down and relax with Lucia there was no such thing. But at least they now had someone else to sit at their gigantic dining table. They still hadn't put out any furniture in the backyard or the front porch and garden, and Arizona was hoping she would do the rest of the shopping with Lucia while she had her help.

Arizona knew it was very traditional...maybe a little too easy, but she decided to fix Seafood Paella. It was the only Spanish dish she could for sure make and not embarrass herself. She can never go wrong with seafood, no matter what the cuisine. Lucia showed her a few tricks to make it even more spectacular. Less sauce, more flavor—don't overbook it like most Americans do, Lucia told her.

Callie knew her mom was inside. She should have called her when she landed, but she still couldn't shake this funk she was in. She had cleaned her tracks properly. She just had to make sure that from this point on, all of her investments were legit. She couldn't make any mistakes-not that she ever could.

She pulled the key from the ignition and got out of the car.

As soon as she opened the door to the house, the scrumptious smell of Mexican food filled the air. She placed her keys on the table near the door and walked toward the kitchen.

Both Arizona and Lucia had their backs turned to her, so Callie was able to sneak up behind her mother and wrap her arms around her. Lucia jumped, completely startled, but then relaxed.

"Hola!" greeted Lucia.

"Te extrañé, Ma," Callie whispered into her mother's ear, letting her know that she had missed her. She hugged her tightly. Maybe her mom could help her with this dark cloud around her mind.

"Oh Calliope," Lucia replied, hugging her daughter tightly.

When Callie released her mother, she turned to look at Arizona. Arizona still had her back to them, while she chopped vegetables for a salad.

"Hey, Arizona," Callie said.

"Hey, Callie," she answered, not bothering to turn around.

Immediately Lucia knew something was wrong. The air was thick with tension. Callie didn't rush over to hug Arizona and Arizona had barely acknowledged her presence. Lucia looked back and forth between her daughter and her wife, until she settled her glare on Callie.

"'What did you do?" Lucia asked, placing her hands on her hips.

"I didn't do anything, Ma," Callie said, answering her mother. "I'm going upstairs to change clothes."

At dinner, you could hear a pin drop. The only noises that trickled through were those of their silverware clanking against the dishes. After quietly filling their plates, the three of them ate in silence. Callie sipped her wine and looked over at her mother.

"How was your flight?" She asked, trying to relieve the tension.

"It was nice. Could somebody tell me what's wrong?" Lucia asked, addressing the pink elephant in the room.

Arizona turned to Lucia. "Honestly, I don't know," she said, then turned to her wife, giving a noticeable fake smile. "Callie, wanna answer that?"

AN 1 - So a longer chapter to make up for the wait.
