Existence
Chapter Fourteen: Complete Silence.
By: AlienSnowflake (Formerly PPLyra)

Elsa was walking home in a slight busy street, with her bag strapped on one shoulder along the way. She was whispering nasty things about Hans under her breath. Particles of ice slowly came out of Elsa's palm since her fingertips were clenched so hard. She wasn't wearing her gloves either since she had forgotten them at home from the rush her father told for her to go to school that morning.

That Hans! I just want to punch stupid his face out and leave him with a freakin' broken nose and shattered teeth! ...

She was busy facing down that she accidentally bumped onto someone. "Ouch!" they exclaimed.

Elsa didn't look up, instead she just kept going, this time she ran off, almost having tears in her eyes. Anna... how could you...

She hurried on home.

Luckily, her father wasn't there to tell her off. Loud thump of her footsteps made their way to her frozen bedroom. Her body slumped on her bed, making the mess on her bed fall on her floor. Finally hot tears made their way out of her eyes, staining her blankets. Her fists clenched so hard, blood stained her sheets as well as slowly freezing it. Why... Why am I hurting like this? I don't understand it.. I don't like it at all! I feel so empty.. S.. So cold.. Lonely.. D.. Dark.. I-I've not felt pain since... since...

She couldn't even think properly. Her constant crying was taking over her own thoughts that she couldn't concentrate on what she was thinking about.

The last bell rang at school and everyone were rushing home, all except Anna. She was with Kristoff. He was worried about her sudden changed of mood. She was the usual one who bump onto people with a cheerful smile on her face.

"Oy, Anna. What's wrong?" Kristoff asked as he stopped walking, but Anna kept walking. "Uh, Anna...?"

"...Wh-What...?" Anna finally snapped out of it.

"I've been trying to talk to you for the last... I don't know... minutes or so?" Kristoff stood next to the shorter girl.

"Sorry."

That's all? Sorry? Kristoff thought, with his hand over his forehead. "I can tell something is wrong. Just tell me."

"Nothing's wrong. I'm fine. It's just..."

"Just what?"

Anna gulped. "Elsa."

"Ohhh..." Kristoff said, his voice sounded very mocking. "Ice Queen, eh?"

"What..?"

"I get it..." Kristoff was rubbing his own chin with his thumb and finger, like a detective would when they find a clue.

"What? What do you get?!" Anna wondered, with a slight confused look in her face.

"Nothing," Kristoff giggled, only earning a punch from Anna.

"I hate you, Kristoff!" she had her arms crossed.

"Hah, I knew it. You're into her, aren't you?"

"What are you talking about?" Anna asked without a hesitation, slightly looking somewhere else.

The two were waiting for their bus outside the school grounds, Kristoff leaning against the bus stop's sign, whilst Anna was beside him. "You know, I knew there was something between you two."

"No, there isn't anything between me and her, maybe an invisible wall or something... 'cause she's been ignoring me for the past few days..." Anna slightly giggled at her own joke.

Silence fell between the two until the bus arrived. The two sat together in complete silence, so Anna decided to speak up. "You're right, Kristoff. There's something between us two. Or at least I'd prefer it was not an is since she hates my guts at the moment..."

Kristoff was quiet, but was listening to what Anna had to say.

"I think... I like Elsa. Not like, but like-like... you know?"

"I know what you mean. It's like a man and a woman, in this case... both are women..."

"I know. I'm horrible!" Anna covered her face with her hands.

"Nah, you're not!" Kristoff placed his hand on Anna's shoulder. "I could feel something between you two, anyway. But look on the bright side..."

Anna looked up at Kristoff, her hands still halfway covering her face. "What bright side?" she whispered.

"I think Elsa likes you too."

Anna suddenly bounced back on her seat, with her hands against her cheeks. "Ohhhhhhh, noo! You're lying, Kristoff! Don't make me punch you again!" Her face was flustered by slight anger and ecstasy.

"I'm not! She's not into guys!"

Anna gasped. "Y-You sure...?"

"The way she checks girls out months ago, I'd say she's straight as a boiled spaghetti... or a roundabout..." Kristoff chucked to himself.

Anna just sat in silence, looking out the window with a smile on her face.

It took Elsa a while to get up from her bed after all the crying. She heard her father shutting the door from the living room. But before she wanted him to see her all musty, she decided to take a quick shower.

"Elsa? You're home early..." her father called out, hearing her daughter go in the bathroom.

"Uhm," Elsa said, thinking of an excuse to say, "the teacher at English c-class called in a day, so we got out eh-early..." Having to stutter a little from her recent sobbing.

"Well, all right. I'll cook dinner tonight. you finish washing up."

In the bathroom, Elsa let the water run until it was good for her skin. She had her hands against the sink whilst looking at herself in the foggy mirror. Then out of nowhere, Hans' voice echoed in the back of her mind. You need to leave her alone, Elsa. She trembled and turned around to look away from the mirror. You need to leave her alone, Elsa. She shook her head. No, that bastard was just fucking up with her mind.

She sighed deeply. Everything was all right.

She was all right.

You need to leave her alone, Elsa.

She wasn't all right.

She turned around to face the mirror again, her hands holding against the sink tightly. Look at yourself... You're pathetic... How can Anna ever love a person like you?... Tears began to steam down her cheeks again. She picked up, somewhat... a sharp, coloured silver item from inside her pockets. I should just kill myself... I think Anna deserves better... than with me hanging around her like some ghost...

She was about to point the edge of the blade against her skin, but her hand was trembling uncontrollably that she dropped the item on the floor. She looked down at her fingertips, they were turning very pale and were slightly frozen. Shit... Not being to able to see from the tears covering her eyes, she decided not to harm herself... at least not tonight... She swiftly went to the shower and forgotten about her suicidal thoughts in the meantime.

Once Elsa got out the shower, she joined her father during dinner. I'll just see how this goes... Elsa thought to herself.

The next morning, it was Saturday. Elsa spent the whole day sleeping again. She had multiple dreams of Anna where she ended up hurting her badly that she would wake up in fear. Even when she wasn't sleeping, she would still see Anna in her head, no matter what she was doing.

I want to see her again... even if it's the last time... I want to... She sniffled. She' s nothing like any people I've met before...

Elsa fell asleep again as the sun rays flickered through the small gap in her curtains. She dreamed of a memory when she was little. A group of kids were making fun of her and hitting her and pushing her around the place. They also threw her around to each other and pushed her like a ragged doll. Then one kid decided to walk away from the spot his friend pushed her to and Elsa ended up on the ground and started to cry.

"Aww look at her! What a baby!" one of the kid said out loud, pointing at Elsa.

"Mama!.." Elsa shouted, getting up from her feet, then running off, only to find her feet tripping up and she skidded across the pavement, earning a lot of bruises and cuts all over her body. Bits of blood trickled down her legs.

The kids continued laughing at her like she was a clown running all over the place.

You freaks are gonna pay... for this... Elsa thought, fainting on the ground, having to bleed badly from her wounds.

Right before she fainted, she felt warm hands around her and carrying her. She knew this was her mother picking her up. "I got you, Elsa. Don't worry."

Nghh... Elsa groaned. It was present time and she realized it was past noon on a Saturday. Damn that dream... I miss mother so much... If she was here, I would feel better.

To be continued...

A/N: Sorry for late update. Life has been hitting me badly, but I'm trying to continue this. Though I'm looking forward to see Frozen 2 in a few years. Kristen Bell mentioned it would happen.

Bye now.
