Now about the point of Cory being supportive of Maya and Josh having a baby

I agree with you on that part, but I also think Cory might not be completely comfortable with the idea of a girl who has been like his own daughter (and the one who becomes like a surrogate daughter of his after Shawn officially adopts her) becoming his sister-in-law. Cory also might not be comfortable with the idea of his baby brother becoming a father and him becoming an uncle/honourary grandfather.

Also, about the point of Auggie not really being in on Farkle's plan because he's protective of his sister

So for this idea what I actually had in mind was that Auggie knew about Farkle trying to force Riley into admitting her own feelings. He obviously dosed off before midnight, so he didn't know what exactly Farkle did until next morning. Auggie will obviously try to save his sister from public humiliation, but on the other hand he will also want his sister to be happy with the person she loves.

Maya and Josh talk about their future.

Maya and Josh had visited the doctor to find out if everything was okay with the pregnancy and the gynaecologist had also listed down all the necessary precautions for Maya.

They both got back to Maya's dorm to find Lucas and Riley waiting for them.

Riley asks, "So how is everything?"

Maya replies, "The baby is fine, but I have to eat a lot of healthy food and some medicines now"

Lucas says, "You only have to eat all that to ensure that your baby is healthy. I'm sure that it'll be all worth is in the end."

Josh replies, "See Maya, I'm telling you that it will be fine. I also promise to eat the same food as you."

Maya asks, "So you'll even eat the weird things that I might be craving in the future?"

Josh grimes a bit but replies, "I'll try, but I can't make any promises. Like you end up craving for something I'm allergic to, then I'm definitely not going to eat it."

Maya hugs her boyfriend and says, "Oh you're the best Josh"

Lucas looks confused on seeing Maya being so expressive of her feelings, so Riley chuckles and explains, "Maya is going to have mood swings like this until she gives birth. You might as well get used to it."

Lucas mutters, "Easier said than done"

Riley rolls her eyes and asks, "So, are you both ready to tell your parents about the baby?"

Josh replies, "Well, I've decided to tell my brother and Shawn together so that Topanga can save me from being murdered"

Lucas says, "That's probably a good idea"

Maya suddenly exclaims, "Oh that reminds me. Riles, we got a picture of the baby today. You have to see it."

She then removes the picture from her purse and shows it to her best friend, pointing to the baby and says, "There's the baby"

Riley looks at the picture and coos, "It's so tiny right now. I can't wait to see this baby grow. I bet it'll look very cute."

She then turns to her fiancé and continues, "Lucas I want one"

Lucas replies, "We're not doing anything until we're married"

Josh asks, "Wait, really?"

Lucas replies, "Yes, really. Cory might spare you because you're his brother, but he will definitely kill me if I even tried to deflower his little girl. Besides, I think that it's a good idea to wait until you're married."

Josh says, "Well considering that Riley is Topanga's daughter too, I'm pretty sure that she also thinks the same way"

Riley replies, "Of course, I would prefer to wait. We've even talked about it on multiple occasions because we both have been worried about a 'heat of the moment' scenario. I seriously don't know how Lucas always manages to stop us before things go to far."

Lucas says, "Riley, I respect your parents, so I'm not about to break their trust by doing something that both of them wouldn't want us to do. I know they haven't said anything, but I think they would prefer it if their daughter would wait until she's married before even thinking about consummating her relationship."

Josh replies, "I really appreciate you respecting Cory and Topanga so much. Anyways, did you know that they both also waited until they were married because Topanga preferred it that way? Apparently when my parents were expecting me, the possibility of a baby kind of spooked both of them. If I'm not wrong, they were about to do it after their prom, but that's when my parents told them about me, so they changed their mind. Also, when they were in college then Cory changed his mind and wanted to consummate their relationship, but Topanga never gave in."

Maya says, "It's the opposite in Lucas and Riley's case. Riley wants to take a step forward, but Lucas insists on waiting until they're married."

Josh dryly comments, "Maya, I'd prefer to not hear about my niece's sex life"

Maya retorts, "She doesn't even have one"

Lucas interjects, "Okay, can we please change the subject now?"

Riley adds, "I'm with Lucas on this one"

Josh asks, "Where do you plan to live after you get married?"

Lucas replies, "I was thinking about renting a place nearby. I looked up some options online, but I haven't visited the places. I wanted to go there with Riley, but we haven't really talked about it yet."

Riley looks astonished and says, "You've already looked up some places? We haven't even figured out a budget or anything."

Lucas replies, "I already put away some money for this purpose. After we get married, I don't think the university will let us stay in these dorms, so we would have to move. That's why I decided to make sure that we don't end up in a situation we aren't prepared for."

Josh says, "Just how much money do you have? You're already paying for your own wedding and your honeymoon and now also for a place to live."

Lucas replies, "Well, I've been saving money from a long time because I never really spent much money on myself. I also own a part of my family ranch business, which is quite successful, so money is not really a problem."

Maya asks, "Since when do you own the ranch?"

Lucas replies, "Well, Pappy Joe knew about the whole situation with my parents so he wanted to ensure that I would not have any problems in the future from a financial point of view. So that's why when I became an adult, he decided to give me ownership of the ranch business, so that I would not have to be dependent on them financially. Before he used to give me an allowance, which I didn't use much and when I turned eighteen, he gave me part ownership."

Riley says, "Well it's nice to know that we won't have to worry much about money in the immediate future. Is there anything else that you haven't yet told me about?"

Lucas shakes his head and replies, "I don't think so. Also, the only reason I didn't tell you about this before was because I didn't really like talking about it. You knew about Pappy Joe giving me allowance money. To be honest, I didn't actually know about the part ownership until quite recently. I just assumed he had increased my allowance after I turned eighteen."

Josh asks, "Wouldn't he have had to take your signature for giving you ownership?"

Lucas replies, "Technically yes, but he just never told me it was for the ranch ownership. Pappy Joe asked me to sign some papers saying it was for some bank documents. I mean I was already a nominee for the bank account we had opened to keep the earnings from the ranch, so I didn't think much before signing the papers."

Maya asks, "Don't you read the papers before you sign them?"

Lucas replies, "Usually I do, but I trust Pappy Joe, so I didn't this one time"

Riley says, "Alright that's enough. Now let's get back to the planning that is this left."

Maya asks, "What else is still left?"

Riley replies, "The wedding cake"

Josh asks, "Don't you two have to decide on the decorations as well?"

Lucas replies, "I'm taking care of the decorations after we reach the ranch. I'm hoping you guys will help me set up the alter and everything."

Josh nods and says, "Sure"

Riley interjects, "Can we get back to the wedding cake discussion?"

Maya asks, "We'll be finalising the cake in Texas, right?"

Lucas replies, "That would be sensible unless Riley has something else in mind"

Riley says, "Yes, we will have a cake tasting in Texas only. But do you have any preferences on the flavours?"

Lucas replies, "Well, chocolate filling doesn't sound like the worst idea"

Josh adds, "The outside of the cake would depend on what you want the cake to look like. Like based on the cake design, the flavours might change."

Maya says, "That's true but I'm sure that Riley will want a three layer cake"

Riley replies, "I found a few beautiful cake design ideas online. I liked all of them, so I need your help in finalising one of them."

Maya says, "Alright Riles, let's see them"

Riley shows them the pictures of three cakes that she had found online.

Lucas says, "I don't think I can choose just one of these. All of them look really good."

Josh adds, "I'm with the cowboy on this one"

Just then the rest of the gang enters the room.

Maya says, "You guys couldn't have had a better timing"

Farkle asks, "What does that mean exactly?"

Riley replies, "I found three beautiful cake ideas online, but they're all so amazing that we're unable finalise one out of them"

Smackle says, "Show them here Bubbles. I'm sure my beloved and I can help solve your dilemma."

Riley then shows them the same three pictures.

Smackle and Farkle look at all the pictures very closely and talk to each other in whispered tones.

A few moments later they both nod to each other and say, "We have made a decision"

Lucas asks, "So which one did you guys select?"

Farkle points to one and replies, "That one"

Smackle explains, "Based on your wedding theme and preferences, we both feel that this one is the best design for your wedding cake"

Riley says, "You know what I think you're right"

Josh sighs, "We finally have the cake finalised"

Just then, Zay says, "Luke my man, my buddy-"

Lucas cuts him off, "Just get to the point Zay"

Zay smiles nervously and says, "I want to do a second interview with you and Riley"

Lucas turns to Riley who smiles and nods in response, so he simply sighs.

Zay whoops happily knowing that his best friend will not say no now.
