Hey, everybody. Back with another chapter. Hope you like this one.

So, this will see Barry meeting the Fantastic Four. Also, I've decided on the actors to portray the FF. Mister Fantastic will be played by John Krasinski, Invisible Woman by Emily Blunt, Human Torch by Robbie Amell, and the Thing by Dwayne Johnson.

Let's get to it.

justimtaylor48: I will eventually do X-Men stories, but not sure if I'll be basing them off the movies.

Arrowverse Fan 217: I have no plans for a Batverse story, and likely will not do so, but I'm not saying 100% no. I may include many Batmen in my version of Crisis, but not decided.

Chapter 3- A Powerful Surprise

Barry sighs a bit as he watches the buildings go by. He really wishes he didn't have to take a taxi, but randomly showing up somewhere in the middle of New York City if he's not in his Flash suit would draw too much attention.

Before leaving California, Oliver had helped him figure out where he could find Reed Richards, and had told Barry that Reed owned his own research building in New York: the Baxter Building. Barry had run to New York City earlier that day, stopping somewhere he wouldn't be spotted before catching the taxi.

Suddenly, the taxi slows to a stop, and the driver says, "Here we are. The Baxter Building."

"Thank you very much," Barry says before handing the cab driver his fare and getting out of the cab.

Barry looks up at the Baxter Building as the cab drives away. The building is definitely not the tallest building in the area, but its still impressive.

"D***. Richards must be pretty successful to own a building like this," Barry says to himself. He then walks forward and enters the Baxter Building.

As he walks in, the receptionist looks up from her computer and looks right at him. "Hello. Can I help you?" she asks.

"Yes. I need to see Dr. Richards immediately. It's about something rather important," he says.

"I'm sorry. But Dr. Richards cant see anybody right now," she says.

"I need to see him. It's about an urgent matter," Barry says.

"If it is urgent, then please make an appointment," she says.

"No, you don't understand. I know the mystery of what happened on Dr. Richard's space mission, and I need to warn him," Barry says more urgently.

"You'll have to make an appointment," the receptionist says firmly.

"Actually, he won't."

Barry and the receptionist turn to see a man walking towards them. The receptionist looks surprised, and she says, "I'm sorry, Dr. Richards. I tried to tell him…"

"Enough, Egeria. It's fine," the man says. He then turns to Barry and says, "Reed Richards. And you are?"

"Barry Allen," Barry says.

"And do you really have answers as to what happened on that flight?" Reed asks.

"Kind of. But more than that, I have a warning for you, Dr. Richards," Barry says.

Reed nods once, then says, "Well, why don't you come up, and we can have a talk?" he then walks towards the elevator, and Barry follows him.

The elevator ride up is in silence. As they emerge onto one of the upper floors, Reed leads Barry down a hall and into his office.

"So, who exactly who are you, Barry Allen?" Reed asks.

"Well, first of all, I'm not from around here. In fact, I'm not from this Earth. I'm from another Earth, Earth-1. And I know that you unintentionally visited my friend Harrison Wells on Earth-2 some time ago," Barry says.

Reed looks surprised. "You're from another Earth?" he asks.

"Yes, I am," Barry says.

Reed smiles. "Yes! So I'm not the only one who figured out inter-Earth travel," he says.

"No, you're not. But we can discuss how I figured it out later. I'm here to warn you, Dr. Richards," Barry says.

"What about?" Reed asks.

"The radiation you were bombarded with on your recent trip into space. I work at a place called STAR Labs on Earth-1. A number of years ago, STAR Labs built a particle accelerator that accidently exploded soon after going operational. The explosion released dark matter and various kinds of radiation into Central City, where it was located. The fallout caused thousands of people to develop various kinds of superpowers, and sometimes even changed their appearances. The same thing happened with Harrison Wells' STAR Labs on Earth-2," Barry says. He pauses, then says, "I know that while the situation you encountered may be different from the situation created by the particle accelerator explosions, but I still worry that you and your crew may have suffered similar affects to people that were exposed to the radiation on our Earths."

Reed considers Barry for a moment, then says, "I thank you for your concern, Barry. However, me and my crew have undergone many tests that I myself carried out, and so far, we have seen no adverse effects caused to us by the radiation. I appreciate your warning, but I think if any of us were to have developed any superpowers, it probably would've shown by now. I will keep an eye on myself and my crew, but I think we'll be okay."

Barry wants to argue with Reed, as its clear that Reed is not taking him seriously. However, he also recognizes that nothing he says is going to change Reed's mind.

"Very well. I do hope you will keep that promise to keep an eye out, as from what I've seen, effects caused by the particle accelerator explosions could take days of even weeks to manifest," Barry says.

"We'll be careful, Mr. Allen. I thank you for your concern, and I thank you for taking the time to come to see me. I hope we can meet again, and that you can share how you conquered inter-Earth travel," Reed says, standing up.

Barry also stands up, and he and Reed shake hands. "I hope we meet again, too, Reed," he says.

"I'll walk you out," Reed says, and he walks Barry back to the elevator. They ride the elevator down to the lobby together, and Reed bids a final goodbye to Barry.

Reed then rides the elevator back up. As he walks into his lab, he finds Sue waiting for him.

"So, who was that you were meeting with?" she asks.

"Some scientist named Barry Allen. He said he's from another Earth, and on his Earth, something happened that exposed people to similar radiation we faced on our spaceflight, so he was worried about us developing side effects or even superpowers," Reed says.

"Really?" Sue asks.

"Yeah. But, the event he described was very different from what happened to us, and our tests have shown nothing. So, I think we'll be okay," Reed says. He then smiles and says, "Anyway, now that we're done with that…I say we start planning our wedding."

Sue smiles, and the two share a kiss. However, when Reed pulls away a few seconds later, he sees that Sue's head is gone. In fact, it looks like her clothes are just floating in position where Sue had been standing a second ago.

Sue sees the look of shock that comes over Reed's face, and she asks, confused, "Reed, what is it?"

"Sue, look at your hands!" he says in shock.

Sue raises her hands, and to her shock, can't see them. Sue twists around, trying to see what's happening to her, and cries, "What? What is going on? What's happening to me?"

As she whips around, all of a sudden, a sphere of energy flies out of her hand, flying across the room and hitting a table of scientific equipment. A device starts to fall off the table. Reed reaches out in vain to stop it falling.

Or not in vain. As he reaches out, his arm suddenly extends, shooting across the room and grabbing the device. He and Sue both freeze, staring at Reed's arm. Reed steadies the device, then lets it go, and his arm returns to its normal length.

Reed and Sue look at each other in shock. Right then, Johnny comes running into the room. "Guys, look!" he says. He then holds out his hand, and his hand suddenly catches fire.

Sue and Reed stare at Johnny's hand as it continues to blaze for a few seconds. Johnny then stops the flames and looks at Reed and Sue. "That just happened! Isn't it awesome?!" he says.

Reed and Sue look at each other again before Reed says, "Allen was right. The radiation must've fundamentally altered our DNA."

"Wait. If we three have developed powers, what about Ben?" Sue asks.

The three look at each other, then hear a loud crash from Ben's room down the hall. The three of them race towards the room and burst in, and see Ben sitting on the floor, his chair crushed underneath him. But now, his entire body is made of rocks.

Ben looks down at his hands, then up at his three friends. "Um, guys? What's going on?" he asks.

And, I'll end there. I hope you liked that one.

So, all four of them have discovered their powers, and they're gonna put them to use in the next chapter.

So, next chapter will be up within a week, hopefully. Until it's up, please leave a review, and stay tuned!
