A/n: So no, there will be no Dumbledore bashing, and the only bashing will be Ron's temper getting him in trouble . The Weasley will play a small part in the story, and Dumbledore had left Harry with his aunt and uncle due to being misinformed about where Harry was supposed to be placed. So it is a good Dumbledore story with no bashing. Obviously the story follows Harry and his fellow service members so there will be interactions with students other then Daphne and Tracey that will be seen, but theirs is the only point of view that will be written from. Hermione will not be bashed but she also won't play as big of a role. And for the guest that commented about my way of writing. Sorry, but if you look at a lot of my stories, that is how I write them. And I forgot to clear up some things with the story. In this story Sirius never went to Azkaban, Albus stepped in to get him a proper trial but that's all I'm saying on the subject because I have a reunion planned out between Padfoot, Moony and Harry. The chamber of secrets never happens, or at least not yet.

October 12 1997

Great hall

The noise in the great hall came back after both parties sat down, Harry finished his meal quickly as did the rest of Alpha team. Upon the last member finishing Harry and Alpha stood up and filed out of the doors to continue their patrols until 0930 hrs, upon which time Bravo would rendezvous with Alpha at the TOC to change shifts and brief them on the patrol routes Capt Carter had established for each patrol team.

The members of Alpha proceeded to the 3rd floor to meet with Capt Carter before proceeding back into the Patrol routes. Capt Carter comes walking into the briefing room "Alright, listen up. When the event kicks off I want each of you to memorize this castle, that's why we've set up the patrols so early before the opening ceremony now you will all switch the routes you patrol. Team 1 you're patrolling from the great hall up to the 7th floor, over to the DADA wing and the moving staircase up to the astronomy tower and back to the Great hall. Team 2 you're switching to patrolling from the Great hall down to the dungeons/ potions wing and up to the charms wing then back to the great hall. Team 3 will be from the great hall up to the transfiguration wing, over to the area surrounding Gryffindor tower and then proceeding to Raven claw tower then back to the great hall. Team 1 this time will be Lcpl Jones and PFC Green. Team 2 Will be Cpl Gibbs and Lcpl Lopez. Team 3 will be Lcpl Stoltzfus and PFC Brown. You have your orders to move out."

Harry and Geo are walking with the rest of Alpha to the great hall, each member carrying a radio that was attached to their combat belt and their sidearms and wands. They decided to forego their plate carriers and long guns due to the confined space of the hallways for this round of patrols. As the fireteam reaches the doors to the great hall Harry and Geo form up and the other teams do the same. Harry turns to the rest of the fireteam," Remember to not get complacent, always keep your head on a swivel because recently my gut has been telling me to watch out especially with that pompous idiot from this morning."

As the other teams formed they all nodded and started on their patrol routes. As Harry and Geo are heading towards the dungeons on their patrol route they hear a heated argument taking place inside one of the store rooms along the hallway.

As Geo and Harry approach the store room they pull their wands and hold them in their non-dominant hand. Harry goes to the left of the door and Geo to the right, Harry gives the go and Geo turns the knob and pushes the door open. As the door swings open Harry storms in with Geo right on his heel, as they clear the room they see three students from Gryffindor arguing.

Harry clears his throat "excuse me what are you three doing in here and what are you arguing about?"

The girl of the group, with brown bushy hair turns and looks at the two people that just barged into the room. "OH, the redheaded boy, who's name is Ron by the way, is upset because I refuse to let him copy my homework or won't do all the work for him. Sorry for being so loud." The boy named Ron turns and glares at her," You've helped us with everything up to this point. Why are you doing this now Hermione? " the brown haired boy shrinks back away from the two, " Ron, you need to calm down, Hermione doesn't need to let you copy her homework. She only checks my work to see if I missed any points or spelled something wrong. " the second boy says as Ron rounds on him and glares. "Neville stay outta this since it doesn't concern you then."

Harry looks between three students, "Alright well you three need to be heading to your first class of the day." He says in a serious voice. And stands aside and motions for them to get moving. Ron storms off with Neville and Hermione trailing behind after apologizing to Harry and Geo. After the three students headed to class Harry and Geo continue along the patrol route to the potions classroom. Geo turns to Harry, "so what do you think about those three? I think the red haired boy may get himself into trouble." Harry continues walking to the potions classrooms, "Hopefully he can keep his anger under control, he seems to have anger management issues. Maybe Fireteam Charlie knows anything about him, we'll ask them after our patrol is over."

When they reach the potions classroom students are gathered outside of the class waiting for professor Snape to arrive, Geo looks at the different students before turning to Harry. "So they have Slytherin and Gryffindor together for this period, that seems like a powder keg waiting to blow if the rivalry between the two houses is as bad as they describe." Harry reaches for the mic of his radio while motioning for Geo to hang on, " Cpl Gibbs to TOC, dungeons and potions classroom area clear. Will proceed to the next waypoint shortly." They wait to hear confirmation before Harry turns to Geo, " As long as they keep the rivalry contained while we're here I don't really see a problem with it."

Hogwarts School of witchcraft and Wizardry headmasters office

October 12 1997

0845 Zulu

(Albus Dumbledore pov)

Albus sits in his thinking back to the Halloween that changed everything. He pulls out an order of the Phoenix picture before he walks to the fireplace and makes a floo call. "Grimmauld place" Albus says as he throws a bit of floo powder into the fireplace and places his head in the emerald flames. " Sirius, are you home by chance? I need to speak with you."

Sirius comes into the kitchen rubbing the sleep from his eyes and in an irritated tone asks, " what do you need this early Albus?" Albus ignores the tone in Sirius's voice, " I figured out what happened to Harry, he was living in the United States. It's why we could never find him, someone over there adopted him probably after Vernon and Petunia dumped Harry on them."

Sirius looks at the fireplace wide eyed before running towards the stairs, " merlin, I'm going to go change I'll be right back. Let's continue this chat in person. "

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry potions corridor

(Harry pov)

Harry and Geo watch the students file into the classroom before continuing on to the charms corridor. " Harry, you think they'd let us sit in on a few classes? " Geo asks as they walk.

"We can ask, the worst they can do is tell us no. Obviously it would be on our down time though." Harry says as he and Geo approach the stairs to the charms corridor. As they climb the stairs they see someone round the corner at the top of the stairs.

" Aren't all students supposed to be in class right now? I know some teachers have planning sessions right now." Geo asks.

"They're supposed to be, but that doesn't mean a few didn't skip. Be on your guard though." Harry says as he approaches the corner the person disappeared around. Harry peeks around the corner to see the person planting something at the base of a suit of armour.

"TOC this is team 2, we have an unknown subject planting something along charms corridor, request Fireteam Charlie make their way here splitting up and sealing both sides, Lcpl Lopez and myself will begin moving in to capture the subject." Harry says through his radio.

Third floor corridor Mage division Tactical operations command center

October 12 1997

0905 Zulu

(Sgt. Ken smith)

The TOC is a flurry of activity as Fireteam Charlie is grabbing their gear and heading to back up team 2 from Fireteam alpha who happened on someone planting an unknown item along their patrol route.

"Let's go, gentlemen. I want 3 of you to seal up the opposite end of the charms corridor. Specialist Watkins you are leading the team sealing the opposite end of the hall. Get moving now."

SGT. Smith looks at the remainder of his fireteam. " you 2 are with me, we are going to be providing cover for Cpl Gibbs and Lcpl Lopez." The PFC and private fall in behind SGT Smith and they make their way at a run to the stairs that Cpl Potter and Lcpl Lopez are standing on. As they arrive Sgt Smith walks up to Harry

"So what do we have, Cpl?" Sgt Smith asks upon reaching Harry

(Harry Pov)

"We have 1 subject planting an item at the base of a suit of armor, while waiting for you to arrive he moved a little further down and started planting another item at the base of another suit of armor opposite the first. I will make the approach and Lcpl Lopez will be about 10 feet behind me." Harry says as he looks down the corridor one last time before looking at Sgt Smith and seeing him nod his head.

"Pull your side arm and be ready, we don't know what that person is doing." Harry says to Geo as he pulls his pistol from its holster. He turns to Geo when they are ready ," let's go, but do not fire unless absolutely necessary"

Sgt Smith has his men get into position as Harry and Geo round the corner approaching silently behind the subject.

Harry gets to 10 feet from the subject, " Put your hands up and turn around slowly" upon seeing the subject complying Harry gives geo the sign to switch from pistol to wand for non lethal takedown.

The person turns around and gawker at the pistol aimed at him and the person with a wand trained on him as well

"Bloody hell I thought they was joking when they said you'd respond like this." The subject says as Harry and Geo get a good look at him.

" What are you doing here?" Harry asks as he holsters his pistol and moves to put him in flex cuffs*.

" Hey what are you doing this for, I was only playing a prank with stink bombs" the prankster says as Harry looks to Geo who shrugs

"You were warned last night that this could happen." Geo says to the prankster as Harry walks with the subject back to Sgt Smith.

"Sorry seems he is only a prankster who was planting stink bombs. We will escort him to Headmaster Dumbledore's office." Harry says as he gets to Sgt Smith.

Sgt Smith radios the TOC " fireteam Charlie clear, 1 subject in custody Cpl Gibbs and Lcpl Lopez will escort to Headmaster Dumbledore's office."

Harry and Geo start waking the prankster to the headmaster's office when someone comes walking up to Harry and Geo they notice it's their liaison to magical Britain's government.

"Really Fred you couldn't go one day without getting into trouble. You were warned about these guys ahead of time, and where is George at? Don't tell me he's doing another part of the prank. " Percy yells at his brother as Harry looks between Fred and Percy and then to Geo.

" You two also wouldn't happen to be related to a guy named Ron as well would you? " Harry asks Percy who just shakes his head that 2 of his 3 brothers still at Hogwarts are known to the MACUSA military personnel.

"Yes, that is our youngest brother, what did he do? " Percy asked a he looks at Harry and Geo.

" nothing yet, but we think he may end up doing something stupid if he doesn't reign his anger in."Geo says as Harry adds," We caught him and two other students in an empty classroom yelling at each other. But we should get Fred here to Headmaster Dumbledore so he can decide what to do. "

Percy turns around to lead them to the headmaster's office.
