Edward
Bella and me walked into the Living Room.
Renesmee was playing one of my compositions on the Piano.
"I told you. Piano classes instead of academic classes."
"No. She gets to go to Piano classes if she does well in academic classes."
"You just want to raise her the same way your parents raised you."
"Ouch."
"And I don't. And in case you've forgotten, I gave birth to her, not you. I make the decisions."
"Times like these, I wished she died during birth." I whispered to Carlisle.
"You cannot actually tell her that." He whispered to me.
"I won't."
"Edward, I'm serious."
"I know."
I sighed.
"You're right, Bella. Perhaps we should see how well she does in Piano classes first."
"You want to get in a fight with the Volturi over sending her to school, be my guest. But I really don't."
"Got it. I will talk with them."
"Alright. But I'm not gonna be there to protect you from Jane."
"Isn't she just a delight?" Emmett questioned.
"Which one?"
I grunted as Bella hit me.
"I deserved that one."
"Comparing me to that bitch?! Really?!"
"I didn't compare you to her at all."
I sighed.
"I'm sorry. But I'm going."
"Not alone." Rosalie told me.
"Emmett, go with him. Protect him from the monsters that go boom in the night."
She rolled her eyes.
"Boys' trip!"
"Ooh. Can I come?" Jasper questioned.
"Yeah."
"You want to get rid of me that fast?" Alice inquired, giggling.
"You are definitely not coming."
"Rude and sexist."
"This is not me being sexist. This is me being a big brother, Alice. You're not going because of how much Aro wants you. Got it?"
"Got it."
"Buzzkill."
I shook my head.
