Edward
Emmett, Jasper, and me headed out of the house.
We got in my silver Volvo.
Rosalie, Alice, and Bella were standing on the porch.
They waved "bye" to us.
They headed back inside when I pulled out of the driveway.
"You driving to the airport?"
"Nope."
"You're driivng all the way to Volterra?"
"Yeah, I am."
"Oh, God."
I continued the drive to Volterra.
I was doing 800 miles per hour.
They were hooting and hollering in the backseat.
"Stop acting like idiots."
They quieted down.
Seven hours later
We arrived in Volterra.
It was Saint Marcus Day.
"Thank God it's night time."
"Not like when you tried killing yourself?"
"Ha ha. Let's go."
I parked outside Volterra.
We walked amongst the humans.
"I want you two to wait outside the throne room. If I need you, I'll make some noise."
"Alright."
We arrived at the Church.
We went down underneath the tunnels.
We followed them to the end.
We slid down the slide.
We walked down the stairs.
"Stay here."
"Got it."
I headed down the hallway.
I ignored the human receptionist.
Aro
The throne room doors opened.
Marcus, Caius, and me were reading.
I looked up.
It was Edward.
"What a pleasant surprise. Twice in two days."
"Bella is giving me an issue about a problem that might arise."
"What is it?"
"Renesmee wants to go to school. Get an academic education."
"No."
"What about a private boarding school?"
"No."
Edward groaned as Jane was using her power on him.
The doors were pushed open.
It was Emmett and Jasper.
She gasped as he grabbed her throat.
"Man, I've wanted to do this since my Sister told me what you did the first time she encountered you-"
"Emmett."
"Wonderful people. I'm delegating what she's said except the colorful words she used."
None of them were fazed as Jane used her power.
"She's here." Caius pointed out, standing up.
Bella burst in the throne room.
"Do you really think I'd send you into the Lion's den by yourselves? Three males alone? You really think we trust you that much? Not to cause any trouble?"
"What if Carlisle was here?"
"Well, that'd be different. But he's not here, Edward. So, you got stuck with me. And it's a good thing at that. Alice wouldn't have very much help. No offense, Jasper."
"I'd rate Alice and you the most powerful vampires I've ever encountered."
"Well, unfortunately for you, I wear the Cullen crest. I will never wear the Volturi crest. Ever!"
"You talk about my temperamental issues? What about her?"
"Well, she's in the newborn phase. It'll blow over. You just can't control yourself as your anger surges."
"How about school on the reservation?"
"Absolutely not. I am not sending our daughter there."
"I wasn't talking to you."
"Well, it's not only your decision."
"Actually, it is. Since I carried her for a month."
"Not even month."
"Close enough. 28 days. All you did was bitch and complain the whole 28 days! And unless you want Renesmee to know the truth, this decision is up to me."
"Ouch. That's a tough one, bro."
"You wil lose her forever if she ever finds out. You know that. Everybody who sided against me knows that. So, watch yourself very closely."
Jasper looked down.
"I know you did it because of Alice. Apparently, she can't see past Wolves or Hybrids."
"She's grown her power. Much like you have. In more ways than one."
"What is school on the reservation?"
"Where the Wolves go. The humans are oblivious to them."
"They also have tan or russet skin. Not like our daughter who is as pale as a damn ghost."
"No."
"How is she supposed to get an education?"
"I'm sure you Cullens can figure it out."
"You want one of us to home-school her?"
"Yeah. There are plenty of smart people in your family."
"Fine."
They shook their heads, walking out.
"The one with the most patience is always working. So, Carlisle is out."
"There's Esme."
"No. I'm not sticking Esme with a kid that's not hers for seven hours a day."
"Rosalie."
"No."
"I'll just do it myself. If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. How hard can it be?"
