Chapter 8 Precious People

I don't own Naruto. Anything I use from the story is the property of its creator Masashi Kishimoto. Same with anything I use from other stories.

(Clearing)

Kakashi and Sasuke moved towards a clear area where both of them could fight but Kakashi wanted to figure out something, "Why are you so eager to awaken your Sharingan Sasuke? If it's because of Itachi you should know very well that's not going to work. He's had all this time to get stronger, and if he's the Itachi I remember, there's nothing you'll be able to do against him." Kakashi scolded.

Sasuke held back his anger since he knew his teacher was right, "It's because I need to know why he slaughtered the clan, and if somebody who knew him as well as you and Team Ro did can't tell me. The only person who can is him." Sasuke replied with venom in his voice. He rarely discussed Itachi anymore and the memories of what his brother did still affect him.

Kakashi sighed because he knew the truth, but he couldn't possibly tell Sasuke about it, "The ninja world is cruel Sasuke and I know that better than anybody with my past. Trust me when I say this, but you are better off not knowing the truth behind that night." Kakashi warned.

Sasuke could see his teacher was not happy about the subject and he decided to change to something else he was curious about, "So what happened to you that makes you say that?" Sasuke questioned. According to Naruto, his teacher had a tough life himself but whenever he asked Naruto, he said that it was his past to share. He tried asking Kakashi when they had advisory meetings, but he always said he would reveal the truth when he thought it was time.

Kakashi sighed again before revealing his Sharingan, "I graduated the academy at the age of five and my genin team consisted of: our sensei the Fourth Hokage, me, a young woman named Rin Nohara and a young man named Obito Uchiha. The Sharingan I currently wield was given to me by him as a dying wish of sorts."

"What happened" Sasuke gasped not expecting that.

"I was made jonin at the age of twelve when the Leaf was in the middle of the Third Shinobi World War. My first mission as a jonin was to work with my old team to destroy the Kannabi Bridge in the Village Hidden in the Grass. Simply put, the mission went horribly wrong and Obito had to push me out of the way of some collapsing rocks saving my life as his was put in grave risk. With his dying breath, he asked Rin to give me his Sharingan as a present for making Jonin. He also wanted me to use it to protect Rin, somebody I know he cared deeply about. I promised him I would do that, but unfortunately I couldn't keep that promise."

'What happened to Rin" Sasuke shuddered.

"Barely a year later Rin was captured by Shinobi from the Village Hidden in the Mist who sealed a beast known as the Sanbi inside her."

Sasuke's eyes widened when he realized something horrifying, "Are you saying that there are monsters just like the Kyuubi out there in the world."

"There are, but that's not important. What is important is that in the process of saving Rin, she threw herself in front of one of my attacks killing herself." Kakashi said solemnly.

"I see" Sasuke said solemnly. He could only imagine how horrible it must be.

"After Rin's death, I wallowed in misery drowning myself in those books because it was the only way to distract me from the pain. It was only thanks to my sensei that I survived that long and then he was killed when he sealed the fox inside Naruto. After that, I became a monster that did what I wanted when I wanted at least until I learned about Naruto's situation which I wasn't aware of at first. Through Naruto and the assistance of Team Ro and Genma I was able to recover. Without him… I don't even want to know what I'd be right now" Kakashi continued.

"I see" Sasuke frowned. It didn't take his Sharingan to know the type of pain his teacher must've been in.

"I'm telling you this story about myself for two reasons. The first, is to warn you that just because you get the Sharingan doesn't mean you'll be invincible. The second, is to teach you to value the people important to you." Kakashi continued

"Thanks sensei" Sasuke said warmly knowing his teacher truly cared.

Kakashi's expression morphed from solemn to serious in that moment because he knew it was time to get to work, "Alright. Now let's get started. I'm going to help you awaken the Sharingan and from there it's up to you." Kakashi smiled before getting into a stance to fight.

"Alright" Sasuke smiled and the pair began their training. He was going to awaken his Sharingan so he could help his new team. He'd worry about Itachi down the road.

(Konoha)

Back in the Leaf Village, a nervous Yakumo, Hinata, and Tenten were sitting in Yugao's apartment as the cat masked ANBU relaxed in some casual clothes. Yakumo and Hinata went to Kurenai to ask about meeting Yugao. Kurenai agreed to help, but when she asked why they were forced to reveal the true nature of their relationship with Naruto. Hinata was pretty sure Kurenai might've tried to kill Naruto herself if the expression on her face was any indication, but she also seemed to realize the good it did both girls. "I understand you wanted to talk about Naruto." Yugao spoke up breaking Hinata's musings.

The girls looked at each other before Tenten spoke up for the group, "As you probably know, the three of us are in an unofficial relationship with Naruto and although we've done a lot of different things sexually, we haven't gone all the way yet.

"I'm aware" Yugao nodded

"A little over a week ago, Naruto told us he wanted to take a break and we think it's because he's worried about taking that next step." Tenten admitted.

"Understandable. Hinata is the heiress to the most important clan in the village and Yakumo's clan is fairly influential in its own right. That next step changes everything."

"Yes, but all of us care about Naruto and we want to be with him properly. Is there a way we can convince him to share us all without worrying about all of that?" Yakumo spoke up.

Yugao took a calm sip of the tea she had in front of her and smiled, "There is a way and admittedly it's something that Genma was planning on telling Naruto about once he became a chunin. At least until recently."

"What is it!?"

"Please tell us!?" Yakumo and Hinata pleaded. If there was a way for them to be with Naruto as a group, they'd do it.

Yugao chuckled but kept her cool, "It's called the CRA or Clan Restoration Act. With it, a registered member of a dying clan could take up to three wives if he so chose and it would be totally legal."

The girl's eyes all widened at the knowledge, "Since Naruto is the last of the Uzumaki clan he's eligible isn't he." Tenten said happily.

"That's right and when he joins, he could be in a proper relationship with all of you." Yugao smiled.

"So, we just need to convince Naruto to join the CRA and then our problem would be solved." Tenten said happily.

"That's only if your families allow it. Yakumo and Tenten should be fine but I doubt the Hyuuga clan would be as amicable to the idea of their heiress being a part of a harem." Yugao smirked.

"Right" Hinata sighed. Her family was careful about practically everything they did and although she was the heiress for now, trying to join this little setup could doom her as far as the elders were concerned.

"I'm sure we can convince Hinata's father that it's okay, but what about Naruto himself." Yakumo questioned.

"You already have that answer. The reason he took the break was because he saw how things were escalating and didn't want to force the next step." Yugao smiled warmly.

The girls looked at each other with smiles on their face. They had their solution and pretty soon they would have their Naruto back at least once they convinced their families. "We've got to get going Yugao. We'll see you later." Hinata smiled as the girls got up to leave.

"Bye girls" Yugao chuckled. Things were proceeding as planned. Now all they needed was for Naruto to get back from the Land of Waves which was actually a nastier mission than any of them realized. Yugao was a bit annoyed at the Third because of that mission since it was obvious something was off.

(Land of Waves)

"We're back" Naruto shouted as he and Tazuna walked into the home. The work was tough at first, but once he got used to things it was a simple task. Walking into the living room, they were met with a calm Kakashi.

"Welcome back Naruto. In case you're wondering Sasuke and Sakura are resting." Kakashi said calmly as he read Make Out Paradise in public.

"I see" Naruto smiled.

"I assume you know not to read a book like that in front of my grandson." Tazuna frowned.

"Yes, but he's not here right now. I'd like to talk to Naruto in the meantime" Kakashi said calmly.

"Right" Tazuna groaned as he left the two alone to talk.

"How did their training go?" Naruto wondered breaking the ice.

"It went fine. I'm sparring with Sasuke in order to help him awaken the Sharingan and Sakura mastered tree walking instantly." Kakashi replied before cracking a smile. "By the way, Sasuke challenged her to walk up and down the tree for ten minutes straight and if he did, he'd reward her."

"What happened" Naruto snickered.

She failed but to her credit she lasted about seven minutes before her stamina finished her off"

"That's good but how about we get to the real reason you wanted to talk to me." Naruto said bluntly. Kakashi rarely read Make Out Paradise in Public and if he was it meant something was on his mind.

Kakashi closed the book and put it in his pouch before staring at his student and long-time protégé "Naruto, "If there was a way for you to be with all three of those girls would you do it."

Naruto didn't hesitate before saying, "Yes I would but that's impossible."

"What makes you say that. They all like you and they've done plenty with you already." Kakashi countered.

"I know, but the next step is different. Hinata and Yakumo are heiresses and it's only a matter of time until the clan politics take over."

"And what would you know about clan politics." Kakashi said with a smirk. Genma took care of the council for Naruto so there should be no need for him to ask about or know any of that."

"The incident with Yakumo told me that I needed to know more about clans if I wanted to be there for my friends so I asked Sasuke and Hinata if they could help me learn more."

"I see." Kakashi smiled. That was a mature decision by Naruto.

"Yeah and because of that I know that things are going to get complicated the older we get." Naruto frowned.

Kakashi smiled, "It will, but are you still willing to fight for them."

"Yes I am. I'll apologize for what happened with Haku and then see what happens." Naruto frowned.

"Sounds good to me. Now why don't you relax for a little bit. Read a good book." Kakashi smiled as he reached into his pouch again, his target obvious.

"Actually, I wanted to get some training in. I haven't spared with Tenten in a while so I'm rusty with my blade." Naruto shrugged.

"Alright but be careful. You never know if anybody is going to attack" Kakashi warned.

"I will." Naruto replied before walking up to his shared room to grab his blade. When he did, he noticed Sasuke and Sakura were cuddled together on the bed and snickered since he had a feeling that his sensei set that up. Leaving them alone, Naruto went out to train. It wasn't until he was at the training ground that he realized he never found out what the solution was and although he was angry, he realized that he needed to get back to his girls first.

(Scene Skip)

A smiling Naruto relaxed in the clearing with sweat dripping all over his body with small cuts on the blue shirt he was wearing as a result of his training, "Not bad if I do say so myself. I thought I'd be rustier." Naruto smiled. For the last hour he traded blows with his clones. It had been close to a month since his last spar and Naruto had access to so many skills that he ignored his kenjutsu most of the time. However, with an opponent like Zabuza he'd need his blade t

'So are we going to talk about our spy' Kurama smirked.

'Might as well.' Naruto frowned. "Come on out Haku. You can't hide your scent from me anymore." Naruto shouted.

"And here I was hoping to surprise you. Oh well." Haku giggled as she walked into the clearing. Haku was wearing a pink sleeveless kimono that emphasized her large breasts with pale red edges and plum colored swirls decorating it. A white obi was on her waist tied in a bow and a black choker adorned her neck with a pair of light brown sandals with dark straps.

"I'm surprised alright. I can't believe you walked around the compound looking like that." Naruto gawked. She was gorgeous in that outfit and it was almost unfair that she was an enemy.

Haku walked towards Naruto with a sway on her hips, "I used a transformation jutsu to leave without being bothered since Gato's thugs wouldn't have kept their hands to themselves. By the way, that doesn't apply to you Naruto." Haku smiled as she wrapped her arms around a still stunned Naruto and leaned in for another kiss just for Naruto to stop her with a finger to her surprise.

"Sorry but I can't." Naruto said calmly. A part of him certainly wanted to, but if he continued along his path, he couldn't justify it to his girls back home.

Haku backed off before smiling, "Alright but do you mind if I ask why?" Haku replied respectfully letting go of him reluctantly.

Naruto felt guilty by answering, but he had no choice, "Because I have three girls who are absolutely special to me back home and I can't betray them again. When I slept with you at Gato's compound it was a combination of you catching me off guard and me being super backed up, but now that I can think clearly, I know that I can't betray them anymore." Naruto admitted before looking at Haku who wasn't angry at all. If anything, she was smiling.

"You truly are a wonderful person." Haku replied.

"Huh?" Naruto replied in disbelief. Haku was almost happy with his admission but that made no sense.

"How much do you know about the Village Hidden in the Mist?" Haku wondered.

"I know a few things, but I don't know what exactly you're after." Naruto admitted nervously. Thanks to Yugao and Kakashi he knew about the Bloody Mist and other unpleasant stories, but he had no idea what Haku was after.

"Then you'll appreciate this" Haku replied before making a small ram hand sign. Naruto was instantly on guard but when a small ice crystal appeared in Haku's hand his guard and jaw dropped at the same time.

"You… you have a bloodline limit." Naruto gasped.

"Yes, and it's thanks to this bloodline that I am with Zabuza?" Haku sighed

"You'll have to explain that one." Naruto replied but when he saw her expression, he knew he was in for a tough story.

"Years ago, the Kaguya clan of the Village Hidden in the Mist decided to rebel against the leadership and after they were stopped, the village decided that they would never allow something like this to happen again. Their solution, was to begin a blood line purge where they killed anybody and everybody with a bloodline." Haku explained trying to keep herself together.

Haku was relatively expressionless, but even Naruto could see that something was wrong, "Who did you lose?" Naruto said with a sad expression on his face.

Haku smiled bitterly at Naruto's understanding, "My mother and father. My mother hid her bloodline from my father, and they lived a happy life together before she had me. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of showing off my powers and my father killed my mother in front of me and was about to kill me before my powers went berserk and I killed him." Haku said barely keeping it together.

"I see" Naruto frowned. To know that you are the reason your mother and father are now dead hit close to home given his own circumstances.

"I was maybe six years old when I killed my father and I moved from place to place having to steal food to survive for almost two years until Zabuza found me. I don't know why he chose to help me but I'm forever grateful that he did." Haku said as a smile began to form on her face again. Zabuza was her version of Genma and Naruto could appreciate that.

"If you've been through all of that. How can you work for a sick bastard like Gato? I'm sure you've seen how horrible things are here." Naruto questioned.

Haku nodded before a sad expression appeared on her face again, "Our world is cold, and people will do whatever they can to survive. We are going to have times where we must do things that aren't pleasant. I may not like Gato and I'm well aware that he would just as quickly sell me to the highest bidder as he would employ me to kill for him. However, as a kunoichi I must deal with men like him."

"Sad but true." Naruto sighed. The atmosphere was heavy for a moment before Haku broke it.

"Since my reason for being here is gone now, I'm going to return to Zabuza's side." Haku teased.

"Huh?" Naruto said with a blank expression on his face. He couldn't believe that she just admitted she came over here to sleep with him again.

Haku merely smiled before using her speed to get into his guard and plant a kiss on his cheek, "The next time we meet Naruto we will probably be enemies. I really do like you Naruto, but if we have to fight each other I won't hold back." Haku said firmly.

"I see" Naruto replied understanding how serious she was.

"Goodbye Naruto and good luck with your training." Haku said once more before leaving with a smile. It wasn't lost on Naruto that she could've easily killed him instead of kissing him. Haku was very fast and the ice bloodline limit was going to make this a difficult battle for him and the other.

"You two are a lot alike." Kurama spoke reminding him of the other issue.

"Yeah and that's why this is going to be a really tough battle." Naruto replied. Haku's life mirrored his, in more unpleasant ways then he cared to admit. Hated for something she couldn't control and raised by mentor's who shaped their world views. He and Haku were two sides of a very annoying coin that came with the shinobi world. Facing her in battle was going to be uncomfortable particularly since this time, it was kill or be killed and he wasn't sure if he or anybody on his team could kill her.

(Gato Mansion)

Any good mood Haku may have had vanished when she walked into her room to find Zabuza sitting on her bed with a smile on her face, "Having fun Haku?" Zabuza smiled.

Haku groaned as she broke her transformation and went from her tracker outfit to her appearance from earlier, "You should be resting Zabuza." Haku deadpanned.

"I am, this is a water clone." Zabuza said as he cracked a smile.

"So, what's so important that you made a water clone." Haku deadpanned as she moved to change into her actual tracker outfit.

"Well I figured it was time I find out which of those Leaf ninja my dear daughter has fallen for." Zabuza smiled.

Haku froze briefly before responding, "I have no idea what you're talking about." Haku said calmly but the fact she stopped changing proves that she was caught.

"You were walking with a small limp when you checked on me a few days ago and you've been going into the town more than usual recently. Plus, your spare sheets smell of sex." Zabuza chuckled.

Haku sighed since she was caught, "It's the blonde one." Haku admitted.

"Well at least you've got good taste." Zabuza teased.

"Zabuza!" Haku pouted.

"IF you liked him enough to sleep with him on your own, I can't exactly complain." Zabuza teased before his expression flipped in an instant, "But that means we have to talk about our current situation."

"I know. Don't worry about me being unable to fight him." Haku said firmly.

"That's exactly what I'm concerned about and I've decided that a change of plans is in order." Zabuza said firmly.

"What are we going to do" Haku said nervously.

"I'm positive that Gato is going to betray us when we go to face Hatake and the team so how about we turn the screws on him." Zabuza chuckled.

Haku's eyes widened, "So what do you want me to do." Haku wondered.

"Gato is worth about 100 million so tell them if they agree to give us 20% of his money, we won't fight them and when Gato shows up, we kill him and his little pets. Wave is safe and they get a huge amount of money"

"I see" Haku smiled. This works out perfectly for her. They get the money and she doesn't have to hurt her first love.

"Oh, and we'll give them one more thing to sweeten the pot."

"What's that?" Haku wondered.

"You"

"Excuse me" Haku said in confusion.

Zabuza frowned before getting up, "Despite my best efforts you still hate killing Haku and I'm going back to Mist after we're done. You can't handle that environment and the Leaf are peaceful enough that you'll be fine. Plus, that kid strikes me as the type to look after the people he cares about and if he agrees to watch you, he'll take good care of you." Zabuza smiled before extending his arms.

"I thought you hated hugs." Haku smiled.

"I do, but I figure if I'm going to say goodbye to my baby girl, I can make an exception." Zabuza said happily.

Haku spun and walked over to the man who raised her, "Thank you Dad?" Haku replied before hugging him. Zabuza changed her life for the better and when the Leaf ninja agreed, which she was certain they would. She would be saying goodbye. This was a moment for them, and it was one she would cherish.

(Scene Skip)

The next morning Team 7 was at the clearing. ready for more training, "So Sasuke you sure you're up for a spar considering how much fun you had this morning with Sakura" Naruto smirked. When Naruto woke up, he noticed Sakura giving him a blowjob and left the room so they could have some fun. Given how loud Sakura was minutes later it was clearly worth it.

"Shut up Naruto!" Sasuke blushed as Sakura's cheeks turned pink as well. Sasuke underestimated his former fangirl, now lover's voice and they woke up quite a few people with their shouting.

"Remind me to make a few silencing seals for you…for next time I mean." Naruto chuckled.

"Now Naruto, why don't we focus on Sasuke's Sharingan instead of his sex life." Kakashi admonished causing Sasuke to sweatdrop at the shot at him.

"Really" Sasuke sweatdropped.

"He's right though Sasuke. You're going to need to give it all and I'm not holding back this time." Naruto smiled before getting into his stance.

"Let's see it then Naruto." Sasuke replied as he got into his stance.

"Alright" Naruto replied before charging Sasuke at a very high speed.

"Fast" Sasuke gasped and all he could do was cross his arms before Naruto nailed him with a kick sending him flying.

"That's not all" Naruto smirked keeping up the pressure as he started to flash hand signs. "Wind Style: Wind Bullet" Naruto shouted before sending a blast of air at his best friend at very high speeds.

"Shit" Sasuke cursed as he tried to gather himself. His training with Kakashi was a start, but he wasn't used to having to react so quickly and the attack nailed him flush causing him to scream in pain.

"Get up Sasuke. This is just the beginning." Naruto replied before making the familiar cross shaped hand sign. "Shadow clone jutsu" and Sasuke got up to the sight of four more Naruto's appearing in front of him.

"Damn it you're not holding back." Sasuke.

"We won't awaken your Sharingan unless we put you through the ringer. Plus, it lets me work on my ruthlessness which is something we're going to need for tomorrow."

"You mean because you're going to have to fight that tracker tomorrow." Sasuke grunted.

Naruto's lips formed a vicious grin, "Exactly and she's not going to hold back. So, try and keep up Sasuke" Naruto continued as his clones charged Sasuke with a coordinated attack.

"You're really not playing huh" Sasuke grunted as he tried to block the clone's relentless assault. His body was barely able to keep up with the assault and it took him four minutes before he could even take out one of the clones. Ten minutes later all four were gone with the real Naruto staring with a smile.

"Time for Round Two" Naruto smirked before creating four more clones who quickly charged him.

"Damn you and that stamina of yours." Sasuke cursed as the clones charged again using coordinated attacks.

"Alright boys, formation A3" Naruto shouted.

"What are you… shit!" Sasuke cursed as each of the clones grabbed Naruto's trusty blade.

"There we go Sasuke. Now it's fun time. My clones are so good at coordinated attacks because that's how I do most of my individual training. I have them go over formations and go from there. You're about to experience one." The real Naruto smiled deviously as the clones attacked.

"Damn it, Naruto, you're going to kill me." Sasuke shouted as he moved around trying to dodge the sword strikes. The worst part was that he didn't have time for a replacement or counter strike due to how well they were timed.

"Not kill. Maim a bit but not kill." The real Naruto smiled as Sasuke dodged the coordinated strikes.

"Shouldn't we do something." Sakura said nervously.

"Not at all. This is the best way to help Sasuke get his Sharingan. Plus, Naruto is actually holding back." Kakashi smiled.

"How can you tell." Sakura wondered.

"Because Naruto's coordinated attacks haven't hit Sasuke once. He's going just fast enough for Sasuke to dodge them with his current speed. Naruto is much faster if he wants to be." Kakashi smiled. It was actually brilliant by Naruto to do that because it allowed Sasuke to be able to track it all. Something proven when Sasuke found a small gap and escaped each of them quickly moving away.

"You're nuts Naruto." Sasuke shouted as he put a little extra chakra into his legs and bought himself enough distance to start his counterattack by flashing a few hand signs, "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu Sasuke shouted before firing a massive fireball at the group.

"Nice try Sasuke but that won't work." the real Naruto shouted as one of the clones faced towards the fireball with the other clones flashing hand signs. The clone that wasn't making hand signs smiled as a blue edge appeared on the blade and sent a single slash at the fireball.

"No way." Sasuke said in shock not expecting it to be beaten so easily.

"We're not done. Water Bullet Jutsu" the remaining clones shouted and as the water bullets hit the split fireballs the attack was completely destroyed.

"Fire Style is great but against somebody with a water nature like me you're done." The real Naruto smiled at the ease with which he destroyed his friends attack.

"So, this is what a real spar with you is like." Sasuke smiled happily unbothered by the ease with which his attack was destroyed. He always knew Naruto was strong and now he was showing it.

Naruto was about to respond before a frown appeared on his face. He quickly grabbed a kunai and tossing it towards the bushes nearby.

"What the heck was that for Naruto." Sasuke wondered. He got his answer when a small white rabbit appeared carrying his kunai.

"That's" Sakura gasped recognizing the rabbit from before.

After taking the kunai from the rabbit, Naruto knew what was next. "Haku get out here" Naruto shouted and sure enough out walked Haku in her pink kimono.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your training, but I came by to make you an offer you probably shouldn't refuse." Haku smiled.

Kakashi had to admit he was a bit jealous that this was the girl who Naruto claimed because she was a beauty. If Naruto's girls realized this was the person who took Naruto's first time, they'd probably understand it. However, that was a minor subplot and one that he doubted would play out, "What do you want?" Kakashi spoke calmly.

Haku glanced at Naruto who nodded, "Zabuza will be restored to full health tomorrow and I doubt you're keen on fighting him and me."

Kakashi would admit that he really wasn't. The Sharingan had quite a few weaknesses and Zabuza was well equipped to handle it now that he knew about them. In truth if you've seen it more than once it's actually fairly easy to figure out, "I take it you're offering to surrender to us." Kakashi teased.

"No. My offer is that Zabuza and I will pretend to come to face you and when Gato betrays us, which he will, we can turn on him getting rid of him and freeing the Land of Waves."

Kakashi could appreciate that, particularly since Gato betraying them was a possibility, "So let's say we agree to our alliance. What do we get in exchange?" Kakashi wondered.

"If you agree we ask for two things. The first is about twenty percent of Gato's vast fortune, I believe he's currently valued at about a hundred million Ryō. Zabuza is hoping to build up a fortune to assist the rebel forces in the Hidden Mist Village and that money would go a long way towards helping them."

"And the second?"

"That you bring me with you when you return to the Leaf. Zabuza may have raised me as his daughter, but he is well aware that I'm not suited for the life he intends to live once he returns to the Mist. I've grown rather fond of Naruto and if I can help him in any capacity, I'm willing to do so." Haku blushed causing Naruto to twitch.

"Seriously." Naruto face palmed. He wasn't against it at all, but she could've offered this when she came to see him the other day.

"Yes Naruto, and as for the others. I hope I can come to an arrangement with them once we are able to talk properly." Haku smiled.

"Lucky bastard" Sasuke grunted.

Kakashi couldn't be happier if he tried. They avoided fighting Zabuza, they were able to help Wave, and his pupil got a new girlfriend. This was as good as it got, "I don't see any problem with this. Please tell Zabuza we accept, and we look forward to tomorrow." Kakashi smiled.

"This is great and all, but I do have one favor in that case." Naruto spoke up surprising the group.

"What's that" Haku blushed hoping it would be sexual in nature.

"I need you to spar with Sasuke." Naruto spoke up to the shock of his team and Haku.

"What are you thinking Naruto. This was going so well." Sakura shouted.

"Yes, and it can get better. Sasuke is on the verge of awakening his Sharingan, but my methods aren't quite enough to do it." Naruto explained. The truth was he was more than capable of doing it, but he was curious how skilled Haku was.

"Very well" Haku bowed.

"If that's all then we'll see you tomorrow Ms Haku." Kakashi smiled.

"Of course" Haku replied before leaving the group alone.

(Scene Skip)

The next morning a smiling Kakashi stood just outside of Tazuna's house with a smile on his face. "Now it's time for Phase Two." Kakashi smiled as he flashed through some hand signs quickly summoning a small brown pug with beady black eyes, a blue vest on his back and a shinobi headband with a blue band instead of black on his forehead.

"Kakashi it's early. What do you need?" The pug groaned.

"Pakkun, I need you to return to the village and tell Genma that phase two has begun."

Pakkun's eyes widened clearly aware of what was happening, "Got it" the dog said happily as it started running towards the leaf.

"Perfect" Kakashi smiled since the Hokage's plan was going swimmingly. Sasuke was on the verge of awakening his Sharingan and Sakura was slowly beginning to embrace the kunoichi lifestyle. As for their new addition, being trained by Zabuza meant that she would immediately become one of the villages stronger kunoichi. Haku's relationship with Naruto would complicate things slightly since it meant they'd need to reveal more of Naruto's heritage, but it would be worth it in the long run to get a powerhouse like her.

Walking back inside he found the blonde sleeping on the couch. He decided to give Sasuke and Sakura the room so they could 'explore their new relationship' some more and from what he heard last night Tsunami and Sakura were competing to see who screamed louder. "Your father would be so proud of you Naruto" Kakashi smiled as he looked at the young man.

"Thanks sensei, but I've got a long way to go." Naruto replied as he opened his eyes.

"How long have you been awake." Kakashi wondered.

"A few minutes, I got in the habit of waking up early to train and that hasn't changed." Naruto shrugged as he moved to his feet.

"Well it doesn't matter but there's something I'm curious about?"

"What's that" Naruto said with a calm stare.

"You could easily awaken Sasuke's Sharingan yourself. Why didn't you?" Kakashi wondered.

"If not for Haku making her offer I was planning to but her offer kills two birds with one stone. The first being Sasuke's Sharingan and the second being to see how strong she really is." Naruto answered.

"So why worry about her strength?"

Naruto looked at his old friend and sensei with a cold expression, "Because I think Haku's going to help us down the road. Confronting Itachi isn't the only thing I'm planning to do as we get older. I'm also going to find the bastard who killed my parents and I'll need all the strong allies I can get." Naruto answered.

"I see" Kakashi replied.

"Still I can't believe everyone on our little team got laid. You got Tsunami I got Haku and you manipulated Sasuke into sleeping with Sakura." Naruto snickered.

"You were going to do the same thing eventually." Kakashi acknowledged.

"Yep, but you beat me to it. Very clever leaving Sakura with Sasuke a few nights ago so he could hear her inner thoughts."

"Well you have Hinata Yakumo and Tenten and the only other options are Ino and Sakura. I had to give him something or he'd go crazy sooner or later." Kakashi replied.

"Well let's get some breakfast since it's going to be a fun day."

"Sounds good" Kakashi replied as they relaxed and prepared for the day to come.

That's it for Chapter 8 and yeah, a lot of stuff is happening. Next time, The Land of Waves comes to an end but there's a twist involved in the 'final' battle.
