Chapter 55 "Nowhere is Peaceful"
Scene (Yasaka Castle)
Looking around the room while still maintaining her eery smile, Ophis then proceeds to look down and at her "caged" Issei. Nodding to herself, Ophis raised an arm into the air as she began to point toward the ceiling. Then, to everyone's surprise, long and black tendril-like arms begin to burst from said ceiling as they begin to wrap themselves around the embraced couple. Looking down and toward Kuroka, Yasaka and finally, the very quiet Kunou, Ophis spoke quietly. "I will be back with your papa-kun in what will feel like only moments for you." Kunou tilts her head all cutely. Ophis thought for a moment and then nodded to herself. "Less time than an episode of the Oppai dragon, sensei." Kunou's ears perked up at the sound of her favorite television show. Instantly, the little fox princess gives Ophis a thumbs up while smirking. Gabriel and Irina look terrified as they stare in horror at the long and black hands that were coming from the ceiling..
Kuroka just closes her eyes and sips a cup of her tea. Yasaka then points at the slowly vanishing couple with a stern look in her golden eyes. "You still never told me where you were taking my darling!" Ophis replied in her casual yet stoic manner. "No where." Before anything else could be done, the couple completely vanished as the long and black tendrils pulled them into the void that was on the ceiling. Gabriel finally shrieked. "What in all of Babel was that?" Irina nods. "That was one of the creepiest things I think I've ever seen." Yasaka turns to the girls, still showing her stern face. "You get used to it. Now, since it looks like the two of you will be staying this evening, how about we have a serious grown up conversation." Kunou knew this side of her mom and decided to get out of the room. A little golden dart of fur can be seen running out of the main sliding door. Gabriel and Irina knew they were going to be sitting in the hot seat, hence they both had very worried looks. Kuroka was continuing to drink her tea but she was nodding in agreement.
Scene (Nowhere?)
In a perfectly black void of nothingness, we see Ophis and Issei, floating endlessly in this hollow universe. With his arms wrapped tightly around the infinite dragon god, Issei has his eyes closed as he lay against her chest. Ophis, (while having both of her arms around the teen), proceeds to look down at the resting dragon emperor, only to smile and blush. She then quietly speaks. "It doesn't matter how long we stay here, eternity even. Time has no meaning in this place." Issei now opens his eyes and looks up. "Ophis. I, don't know what to say, but I really wanted to thank you again for..." Placing a pale hand over his mouth, the black haired and gray eyed woman interrupts. "Say nothing. Instead, feel me." Blushing, Issei was taken back as Ophis proceeded to immediately lock her lips onto his. We pan out as the two are embracing one another as they continue their infinite embrace as they float on into the nothingness.
Scene (Yasaka Castle, Kitchen)
"If you two plan on sharing your lives with my Issei's, then you'd better know your domestic duties! Oh yes ladies, cooking, cleaning, dishes, dusting, mopping, polishing, laundry and etc. Kuroka, my daughter, Kunuo, Big Red Sama and myself, Yasaka, we will be your judges." Irina is dressed in a maid outfit with a pink apron. The outfit itself was very "leggy", as in, a very short skirt along with black and fishnet pantyhose's with matching garters. She looked to be focusing on the very large list of tasks to be competed. Meanwhile, Gabriel, (wearing a matching maid outfit), had her list to her side as she stared (while slack jawed), at the only male judge in the group.
They were all sitting on large chairs as they all were holding crimson colored and large cards with numbers written on them. As Irina continued to nod while repeating outloud what was on the list she was reading, Gabriel continued to point and murmur as her eyes suggested she wasn't ready for an audience with the great red dragon, even though he was in his delinquent-human form. "Gr, gr, gr, great, red? Where did our Issei meet all of these, "people?"" Irina continues to read from the list while ignoring Gabriel's freakout session.
Sitting on this soft chair, Great Red didn't look very happy to be there. Turning his head toward Yasaka, the dragon proceeded to place his toothpick back into his mouth while proceeding to speak in a slightly annoyed tone. "Fox lady, seriously? Why'da I have to be here for this wussy stuff? I could care less about waifuu shit." Yasaka continues her smile however she shows a slight tick mark on her temple. "Red Dragon Kun, darling, I suggest you be a little greatful I don't punish you for the boy's tattoo." Again, one of the most powerful beings to ever exist now begins to shudder at this scary mother who pulled on his face previously. Absentmindedly rubbing the side of his face, Red begins to force a smile while slowly nodding.
"Okay, lady, I get'cha. But seriously, where's Ophiee?" Kuroka snickers. "She and Issei are playing doctor or something." Red shows a surprised look. "What, really? Wow, I guess better late than never, hahaha." Kunou then sits up in her chair and speaks up. "Dragon chan, you're here because my student is "busy". Since you're her brother, well, you take her place then." Red now scowls at the little fox princess. "Don't call me "Dragon chan!" Yasaka then claps her hands while showing a very proud smile. "Yes, yes my little Kunou came up with this plan after all. You should be honored to take part in family events, ara ara, Dragon chan."
Scene (Unknown Location, Katerea's Lair)
"Rias, can I ask you something?" We see the said switch princess, laying on an armchair, as she stares at a handful of photographs. Looking up toward Katerea, (who was drinking a glass of red wine), Rias smiles and nods. "Sure, what's up?" After taking a sip of her wine, the high class devil spoke. "Gasper Vladi, I want him." Rias drops the photos onto the carpet as we now see they were all photos of Issei. "What do you want with my bishop?" Katerea begins to giggle. "Hehe, you mean, your ex-bishop. Word is, your peerage has been disbanded, your sister made them free devils." Rias shrugs while picking up the photos that were laying on the ground. "Regardless, what do you want with Gasper?" Placing her glass onto the table, Katerea adjusts her glasses and then places both of her hands on her amazing hips.
"Well, it's not much different than what you want with your pawn. In fact, I believe that cute little boy can give us the edge in apprehending your little Issei." Rias stands up from the chair as she walks toward Katerea with her photos in one hand. She then leans against the table and places the photos onto it. Then, she looks toward the half glass of red wine and proceeds to reach for the glass. After finishing what was left, Rias spoke in a cold tone as her smile turned into a dark smirk. "You know what, Katerea. Yes, you most certainly can have Gasper. Besides, the boy needs to grow up a bit. Perhaps being with a woman of your caliber might emasculate him a bit." Katerea now begins to clap in a very enthusiastic kind of way. "EEEEEE! My very own little cute vampire boy! Not to mention, Forbidden Balor View. I've helped orchestrate what it could really do with the Witches Guild when we almost took down the three biblical factions during the peace conference back at your school, Rias. Besides having that adorable boy at my side, I get the bonus of using his power whenever I like. WAHAHAHAHA!"
