"Actually, that's the first topic I wish to discuss. Danzo Shimura has been charged with high treason and is currently on the run after fleeing an attempt by the ANBU to arrest him." The third revealed to a stunned council.
"Why have you charged Danzo with treason, and should somebody not connected to all this like young Uzumaki be here?" Homura scowled.
"Young Naruto here is involved, and one could say he is directly connected to all of this." the Third replied.
"How so" Homura wondered.
The Hokage gathered himself since this was going to be tricky. Despite their differences, Danzo was an important member of the village, "As you are all aware, the topic of Orochimaru and the Sound Village was brought up when Homura asked about Naruto's reason for being there. After Demon's explanation, the topic of Tayuya, the Sound kunoichi who advanced to the finals was brought up due to her still being in the village and Danzo seemed quite desperate to talk to her even after we explained that we couldn't and shouldn't do so."

"He sent agents of an organization known as ROOT to the hotel room where Tayuya was staying at as she waited for the finals. For those unfamiliar with it, ROOT was an offshoot of the ANBU Black ops run by Danzo that was supposed to be disbanded years ago."
The room went silent at the implications, "So Danzo killed a seemingly innocent woman?"
"Actually no. Agent Demon lied about the location because she didn't trust Danzo either" Yakumo smiled.
"And how would you know that?" Homura frowned.

The group watched as shadows appeared in the middle of the room and ANBU Demon appeared before the group and quickly took off her mask revealing a slightly tanned version of Yakumo that the council knew thanks to Yakumo's dubious history.
"So Yakumo's inner Ido is actually Demon. That at least explains the name" Shikaku smiled.
"Since when." Homura protested.
"I've been acting as Demon ever since Karin first arrived in the village. When Naruto told Yakumo and his other lovers, about Karin, we were suspicious about everything. I went to the Hokage and asked if I could watch over her to see if anything happened since I was uniquely positioned to do so.

"And that would be." Shikaku asked internally terrified of the answer.
"A full-scale invasion of the Leaf that would feature Orochimaru's Sound Village and the Hidden Sand." The Third revealed to the shocked crowd.
"You… you're kidding." Tsume gasped and the rest of the council was stunned. Everyone on the council was familiar with Orochimaru but the idea that he would invade was shocking.
The old Kage sighed, "I wish I was Tsume. Orochimaru was planning to invade with the help of the Sand Village, something that young miss Tayuya confirmed for us."
"Lord Hokage, seeing that this Tayuya woman was involved with Orochimaru, would it be possible to speak to her ourselves." Inoichi said calmly.
"Yes." The third smiled before motioning to the air and what everyone assumed was another hidden ANBU who would go get Yugao.

"While we wait there's one other thing I wish to know." Hiashi said calmly.

Inoichi spoke first, "According to Lord Hokage, Orochimaru is planning an invasion of our village and has involved one of our elders. We've asked you here in order to interrogate you about your role in all of this."

The Third was pleased that everything had been resolved, but he knew this was far from over particularly since there was no way Inoichi didn't find out about Kin. He would make sure to discuss that with him at a later date since this was about the war and Kin was just an innocent bystander, "While I'm pleased that you no longer have doubts about Tayuya, I find myself unsure of what to do about the invasion since Orochimaru will be forced to change his plans." The third admitted.
"Don't worry about that. The Sand Village is still his best option and that means his plan won't change that much in the grand scheme" Tayuya spoke up.

"From what he's told us about the other villages. Iwa would've never agreed to play by his rules, even for revenge. Kiri is caught up in that fucked up civil war so they're useless. Kumo can't be trusted. The Sand is still his best option." Tayuya replied.
"I see" Shikaku replied.
"He's going to adjust his plan there's no doubt about that, but whatever he does depends on two factors. First is the fact that I'm still in the finals, the second is the fact that he needs Sand's jinchuriki to 'even the odds' for him since the Leaf has so many powerful shinobi" Tayuya continued.
"That makes sense. Your presence in the finals allows him to come into the village and bring his shinobi in the guise of watching you compete. As for the jinchuriki, he's a factor that will certainly complicate things." Shikaku spoke up.
"Normally that's true but not in this case. Naruto's skill with seals and the fact he's neutralized Gaara before means that even if Gaara is the focal point we've got him trapped. Plus, in case you've forgotten we also have Fu as a second jinchuriki" Yakumo pointed out.
"True but Orochimaru doesn't know that." Tayuya pointed out.
"Either way, we have some of the best minds in the village on this. We'll figure out what Orochimaru is planning." Naruto said confidently.
"Thank you for your confidence in us Naruto." Shikaku smiled.

"Thank you Naruto, Shino would be glad to hear that since he worries nobody remembers him or his influence" Shibi Aburame said happily. "I'm curious who the exception to that rule is?" Tsume teased.

"Now that Tsume is done having fun at Naruto's expense shouldn't we move on." Yakumo sighed.

"We haven't actually discussed who would be the main wife since Naruto isn't a part of the C.R.A yet. We were hoping to do once Naruto became chunin but that isn't happening for now." Yakumo said with a bit of bitterness.
"Let's focus back on the village." Naruto said quickly.
"Actually, I'm curious about that myself." Hiashi smiled. Naturally he would be, since Hinata was one of Naruto's lovers."
"That's quite enough Hiashi. You can tease poor Naruto later. After all we have a village to save first." The Third said firmly.
"Of course, Lord Hokage." Hiashi said politely as Naruto breathed a sigh of relief.
"If we assume that Danzo and Root are joining Orochimaru that means they have people who know most of our strategies." Shikaku reminded them.
"Yes, but now that he's out of the village we can prepare new ones." Naruto said calmly.
"Anything come to mind." Shikaku smiled.
"I've got a few ideas." Naruto smiled back.
"Tell us what you've got in mind Naruto." the Third smiled. This was going to get interesting.

Naruto stayed behind due to the Hokage wanting to speak to him and he was curious why. "What's up old man." Naruto said calmly.
"Well, I wanted to introduce you to somebody and they're back at my office. They should've just arrived which is why you didn't sense them before" The Third explained.
"Okay" Naruto said calmly. As the two walked back to his office. Opening the door, they found an older looking man with fair skin spiky white hair that went down to his waist and beady black eyes which had red lines going down them standing in front of the desk. He was wearing a red haori over a short green shirt kimono and matching pants with geisha sandals.
"Naruto I'd like to introduce you to."
"Hold that thought for one second." Naruto smiled before vanishing via a shunshin.
"Uhh was that supposed to happen." The older man said calmly.
"No but I'd wait a few minutes. How are you." The Third said calmly before returning to his desk.
"I'm good but I don't appreciate the cloak and dagger sensei."
"Well Naruto-" the third stopped before Naruto appeared again with a shunshin.
"Sorry about that, but I had to get something for Master Jiraiya." Naruto said happily.
"Wait. You know who I am." the now named Jiraiya said with a bit of surprise.
Naruto smiled before reaching into his jacket and revealing his old Icha Icha book, "Yep and it's all thanks to this." Naruto smiled.
"Kid. When did you get a copy of Make Out Paradise?" Jiraiya frowned. He should've appreciated the circumstances, but he could tell the book was a bit worn which meant he had it for some time.
"I got it for my birthday years ago and it's come in handy." Naruto admitted with shame.
"Is that so" Jiraiya said with a lecherous smile his early concerns vanishing in a flash.
"If you don't mind, I'd love an autograph." Naruto said eagerly.
Jiraiya beamed with pride, "Of course" Jiraiya said happily.
"Thanks" Naruto smiled handing over the book.
Jiraiya reached into his pocket and grabbed a pen before signing the book, "Here you go."
"Thanks." Naruto said happily before putting into his pocket. "As awesome as this is, I'm pretty sure it's not why we're being introduced.
The Third smiled, "That's right. I introduced you two because he happens to be your Godfather."
"That's awesome!" Naruto said happily.
Jiraiya looked at Naruto with a bit of a solemn expression, "The old man told me about your life up until now and I'm sorry I couldn't be around sooner. My job as a spymaster is tricky normally, but things are even more hectic with recent events."
"It's okay. I get that what you do for the village is tough and there's been a lot of crazy stuff going on." Naruto said honestly.
Jiraiya was caught off guard by that, "He's way too mature for his age." Jiraiya said in slight shock.
"I've had some really great people in my life." Naruto smiled.
"I can see that." Jiraiya said happily.
"I'm sure you two would like to bond more but I'd like to get down to business."
"I take it this is about the invasion" Naruto said calmly.
"That's right. How does what we discuss change with Jiraiya involved?" the third wondered.
"Actually, he's exactly what we need to fill in the gaps that may exist."
"Care to explain?" Jiraiya said calmly.
"Of course" Naruto answered, and they began to discuss strategy. As Naruto went on, the old spymaster was stunned by Naruto's intellect and strategy
"Naruto you're going to be a terrifying shinobi one day." Jiraiya smiled once they were one.
"I'd say I'm already terrifying but that's another story for another day."
"I agree. I'll talk to you later kid since I want to go to the springs." Jiraiya smiled.
"Actually, us talking might be a bit of a problem." Naruto said bashfully.
"What happened." Jiraiya frowned.
"Due to a bunch of circumstances I'm on house arrest and as a bit of added protection I modified the seals to the compound to keep everyone there safe. I'm sure my dad had you in there before but I'm pretty sure you won't be in there now"
"How many people are living with you besides Genma." Jiraiya asked with a bit of concern.
"Eight and it's complicated" Naruto said calmly.
Jiraiya recognized that Naruto was hiding something and cracked a smile, "We definitely need to talk more about this kid, but I do want to get to the springs while I have a chance." Jiraiya smiled before vanishing via a shunshin.
"Well…. that was something." Naruto said unsure of what to think.
"I'll call Yugao in to take you back to the compound." The Third said happily.
"Alright" Naruto replied ready to relax for a bit. He had quite the day and considering what was waiting for him back home, his nights were going to be pretty awesome too.

After returning home, Naruto went over to the side house in order to tell his top three girls about his surprising meeting knowing they'd appreciate what he discovered, "Hey girls it's Naruto can I come in." Naruto said politely from in front of their door. A moment later, Hinata appeared in some casual clothes.
"You know you can come in without knocking right." Hinata teased.
"Yeah, but I prefer the polite way." Naruto smiled as he walked into the room. He was pleasantly surprised to see the girls had made the wooden room their own customizing it with surprising fashion. They had a king-sized bed in the middle of the room and a large brown oak dresser on the left side with 3 rows for each girl to put their clothes in without any issue. Just in front of him, was a small desk that was presumably used by Tenten for her scrolls though he did notice a sewing machine also. Tenten and Yakumo were currently on the bed with a fair distance between them.
"So, what brings you to our humble abode Naruto." Tenten asked calmly.
"After the meeting, the old man introduced me to my Godfather and he's somebody we're very familiar with." Naruto smiled.
"And who is that?" Yakumo wondered.
"Jiraiya of the Sannin." Naruto smiled.
"Why does that not surprise me at all." Tenten smirked.
"Probably because Naruto is the son of the Fourth Hokage and Jiraiya was his teacher." Hinata smiled having walked over to join the girls on the bed. Before he could respond a shadow appeared in the middle of the room and Ido appeared without her mask in some casual clothes like the rest of the girls.
"So did you tell your Godfather that his book is the reason his godson is the lady's man he is today." Ido teased.
"No because I don't want to be part of the next book and based on what everybody told me about him, that's a very distinct possibility." Naruto frowned.
"I wonder what you'd call it." Hinata mused.
"Icha Icha Legacy" Ido said quickly.
"I like it." Yakumo smiled.
"Me too." Hinata smiled.
Naruto chuckled, "I'll think about it for our next meeting. Anyway, how's your training going girls?"
"It's not going to badly but I'm honestly not sure about the finals anymore." Yakumo contemplated.
"Oh right. Your match is with Tayuya and with everything happening, it might be better for her to drop out." Hinata mused.
"True. Tayuya is literally the excuse Orochimaru has to be there. Otherwise, his invasion becomes a lot harder to plan." Tenten smiled.
"Ironically, it's actually the opposite. Orochimaru knows that we'll be watching for him and if he's allowed to have his people come into the village, we get a vague idea of what he has based on that. Plus, those people will be watched more than anything. By keeping his forces hidden, we have no idea what they have available particularly if they use the Sand Village."
"That's interesting?" Tenten replied.
"I can talk to Tayuya about the match, but personally I'd want it to happen." Naruto added his two cents.
"Why's that." Tenten wondered.
"Because Yakumo's chance of becoming chunin drops to almost nothing otherwise." Naruto frowned.
"What do you… oh right." Tenten frowned. If Tayuya dropped the next match would be Kabuto and there's no way he's going to compete or at least give a proper match. Her match with Shikamaru wasn't a great match as much as a horrible matchup for him. The irony was that a match with a skilled opponent like Tayuya would be exactly what she needs.
"It's a slippery slope really." Hinata replied.
Naruto was about to reply but he felt a small chakra flare, "Hinata, can you use your Byakugan to look at the front gate. We have a guest who isn't registered with the security seals." Naruto replied. He modified the gate so that unless you were registered with the seals. You couldn't even use a shunshin to get into the compound. He got Team Seven registered after training the other day and the same was true of Team 8. He'd deal with Team 10 and the rest of Tenten's team soon enough.
Hinata nodded before activating her family's signature jutsu but when she saw who it was, she frowned, "Naruto why is Temari waiting outside of your compound." Hinata replied.
"What!" Yakumo Ido and Tenten gasped at once.
"This should be interesting." Naruto replied before moving to leave.
"You're not seriously going to meet with her are you. She's still technically your enemy Naruto"
"I am because Temari's against this invasion." Naruto said firmly.
"Fine but don't say I didn't warn you if something goes wrong" Ido scowled.
Naruto took a deep breath before making his way to the entrance a plan already in place. If Temari had something to say he was going to listen, but he wasn't going to do this recklessly. Ido was right that he had to be careful with everything going on.
That's it for Chapter 22 and yeah stuff is getting fun. Next chapter Naruto has a talk with Temari and has a very interesting talk with Jiraiya.
AN: A couple reviews addressed the C.R.A situation and I'll leave it at this. I haven't planned too far ahead of the story, so I don't completely know what I'm going to do. I have a few ideas and girls I want to add by the time it's all said and done but what I actually do isn't completely clear yet.
Having said that a fantastic way to piss me off in this or any of my stories is to write review telling me to add person A to the harem or asking if future characters will be in a harem. I write what I want to write and not what you want me to write, and I've made very few exceptions to that rule. Anywho enjoy the story and keep following for more.
