Chapter 35: Flair's Worst Day

"To hell with my fears. I'm just going to go for it. I'm going to wake up and..." Stopping with this thought, Flair took a sigh, and as if her thoughts weren't enough to wake her, her sigh most definitely did. "I'm going to take Cyril's advice and... I guess... start living again." While still fearful of agreeing with such a huge step back into life, all thoughts and joy were focused to turning things back around for herself. "After last night... I'm more than sure that I could truly feel comfortable taking a step back into a family... a better... newer... family." Smiling as she woke, first thing she did was stretch. Completely laid out, her first focus was her back, then her tail, before finally reaching her paws outwards and stretching them as well. With her body popping here and there, she now felt all loosened up to start the day. Opening her eyes now, Flair hadn't noticed it yet, but something was missing, "Hey, Cyril..." Faced to her left, he was gone, and she raised a brow to this, "Cyril?" Facing ahead, she noticed the door to her room was open, which once again caused her to raise a brow. "Where did you run off to?" She thought. Climbing up and off the bed, the warmth from the sun was felt to her scales as it shined through the window above her bed and lit up the room, helping her sigh easily as she thought, "It's alright. He's probably just setting up for our day at the beach." Making it past more than halfway of the room, she stopped, noticing as a blue, familiar looking dragon walked into the room. A smile showed to her face, but not his, "Hehe, hey, Cyril," As he sat away from the door some, she moved a little more towards, keeping a happy vibe between her and him, "Hey, listen... After last night, I feel... more than happy right now, and if anything, hehe... I'm actually quite happy for today's adventure. You just better make sure to keep those eyes in check. I get seeing my body get all wet will get you all kinds of excited, but just know, I still will not hesitate to bite." Giggling to herself as she didn't really mind either way, she waited for him to respond back in any way, but to her surprise, he didn't, which worried her. Seeing he had somewhat of a serious look in his eyes, yet still almost depressed, she asked out of worry, "Is everything okay, Cyril? You know I'm only joking about you looking at me."

"I'm sorry... Flair..." Hearing the defeat in his voice, this caused a rather powerful shiver out of her as she had never heard this from him before. "S-s-sorry about... what?" Flair asked out of fear. Noticing someone else by the door, the red looking figure made its way into the room. In just the sight alone, all of Flair's joy left her; completely turning stiff and losing almost all color in her scales. The red dragon showed his teeth to her as he stood next to Cyril, and before he could say anything, Flair backed away with a now fearful voice, "N-n-n... No... No..." With this dragon in front of her now, she cried his name, or at least, his title, "Why... Why are you here, dad?!" Fabian showed his teeth to her daughter, and to explain himself, Cyril gave her the unfortunate news, "I'm sorry... Flair... But I've talked with Spyro... and after getting the go ahead from the others, we've decided... you're too much of a problem for us to handle." His words forced a punch to be felt in Flair's chest. "I told Spyro how you're connected with Flint, and after some talking... it was decided that your life should be put into the paws of that who made you in the first place."

"What?!" Flair cried, getting a headache now as her breathing grew much greater, much more painful, "Cyril... Cyril, he'll... he'll kill me!"

"After all you did to me, are you surprised?" Fabian admitted to it right in front of Cyril. And while she expected him to react, Cyril did, though not to her defense, "Fabian, listen... I get you may be upset, but if you're planning on killing her here, at least make it quick. I'm tired of having to listen to her whine." Once again stopping cold to his words, Flair watched as Cyril turned away from her and proceeded to make his way out of the room. With all the strength she had, her voice was weak, but still able to be comprehended, "Cyril! Wait!" Because he had stopped, it helped her still keep a hold of her ground, "Please! I'm sorry for what I did! What ever I did, please don't do this... If I'm connected to Flint, wouldn't Spyro want me to use him to stop a war from happening?! And I thought the girls wanted to see me tomorrow like we promised we would yesterday!"

"STOP MAKING THIS ABOUT YOU!" Now with a powerful yell, all strength she had to even fight on now left her, "We will deal with things how we see fit. You put on an act to care about us back then, so we did the same for you! At this point, Fabian would make a far better addition to this family than you ever could've. You said it yourself; after all you've done, why should you deserve a second chance at life?" Not only had the color left her scales, but so did the color in her eyes. Her vision funneled into a single view as she watched him walk out of the room: disappearing out of sight as he passed the door way. In only mere minutes, everything to her was now lost. "Cyril..." Flair shed a tear, and while her vision was focused towards the door, the shine of a blade showed in front of her, and noticing the look, her vision opened some to see her father approaching her. Backing away and ducking her head low, Flair begged in hopes her father would hear her,"Please... Dad... Don't!" Knowing she was running out of room, her fears grew, and so did her voice and thoughts of the others, "Cynder...! Someone...! Please help me!" Feeling as her back hit the bed, she watched in fear as his blade raised above her head, and with one last powerful cry, Flair gave it all she could, "CYRIL!"

The force of the fear woke her, though in a much more powerful state than normal. Laid back against Cyril's side but head turned to laid to his paws, her fins not only pressed against his entire side, but the bottom of his maw as well. Tears formed to her eyes from the nightmare, and just as powerful as it was to be in it, she felt it even coming out. Sharpening her fins all to their max, Flair let out a desperate cry for the one closest to her, "CYRIL!"

As her fins all sharpened, they dug deep within Cyril. Her fins from head to tail stabbed through the bottom of his jaw, the entirety of his side, and even some of his tail. Unfortunately with how close she was to his side, her fins were easily able to puncture even his lung, causing even more damage to his insides. His eyes shot open wide, letting off a powerful cough that was quickly filled with blood. Pushing herself back and away, even through the tears and cries she had, Flair noticed the violent, blood gurgling cry of pain. Stood up now by Cyril's right side, her eyes grew wide to see the damage she had caused to his body from the sudden wake. Not only had fears and tears been caused from her nightmare, but much more was caused now knowing what she had done, and she cried his name once again, "Cyril!"

Watching as he suffered for what she had done, even with how much she had endured in such a short amount of time, she was quick to act. No no no! Turned to her right, Flair placed one paw to the front of the bed, and using her feet, she kicked off of it and threw herself forward. With her efforts, she landed much more near the middle of her room. Nothing within her slowed, and even as she approached the door, while she tried to stop, Flair tripped over herself. With the speed at which she was going, her body rolled, slamming into the door hard enough to go through it. Rolling into the hallway now, the pain didn't slow her down as she continued to hurry herself. Stood up to her paws and getting her grounding, a quick look to her right forced her body forward and to where she needed to go. Who do I go to-who do I go to-who do I go to?! Spyro's too far! Nearing the Chambers, a quick memory helped her remember something important, Ignitus! He has the power! At the front of the Chambers, she was able to make a sudden stop before crying out his name, "IGNITUS!" Running to the back of the Chambers, she continued to cry his name, and unlike last time, as she made it to the door, she was able to open it, "Ignitus!" Swinging the door open, she let out another saddened cry, "Ignitus!"

Hearing the cry from her, Ignitus picked up his head from his bed in the back of the Sleeping Chambers. Still in a daze, he wasn't all there as he looked to her, "Flair...?"

Almost all out of breath, she didn't let up as she was to the point, "Cyril...! My bed... He's... He's going to die!"

"Cyril's gonna... wait, what?!"

Now after hearing this, Ignitus jumped up on the bed, and with a massive jump, he made it over the frame of the bed and landed to the ground. The sudden massive jump, and even after hearing Flair's cry, Claire woke just the same. Moving out of the way and moving into the Chambers, Flair watched as Ignitus ran past her out into the Chambers before bolting it to the hallway and down to his right. Looking to her right, she noticed Claire made it over towards the door and looked to Flair with worry for what had happened. The tears in her eyes helped Claire understand she truly was afraid for what had happened. As they turned to hurry back to the room, they noticed Terrador, Trish, Volteer, and Ersa had all made it out from their rooms as well, standing by the left side of the Chambers and looking at the two with worry the same. Flair was the first to hurry back to the room, and following close behind was Claire, followed then by the other four. Passing by door after door, once making it to her door, it had already been opened inwards into the room. Piling in the room, Flair stood to middle with Claire by her side. To the left stood Ersa and Volteer, whereas the right stood Terrador and Trish. Everyone watched as Cyril stood to the floor now with Ignitus rubbing his back and stood to his right. Not only had they all noticed his near deadly coughs, but they also noticed the amount of blood that completely stained the middle of the bed red. The only thing that was a good sight to see was the wounds that were now gone and healed from his body. As if things weren't already bad enough for Flair, more bad news felt like it piled on for her as Ignitus showed his teeth, pissed to have seen what he did, "Who did this to you?!"

Cyril didn't answer, but rather looked at Flair, almost as if he was outing her in some way. This caused her heart to sink as now, not only did it seem as though Cyril had turned against her, but the same was felt from the others. Seeing the surprise in Ignitus's eyes, she looked to her right to see the sadness in Claire's eyes as well, and feeling as though everyone was turning against her, Flair backed away, trying to sharpen her fins and apologize for what she had done, "No... No-no, please, I..."

Feeling a drop of something hit her back, she turned to see it, and once noticing what it was, at this point, her body started to enter a full shut down mode as she couldn't handle all these emotions and imagines all at once. Seeing the blood that covered her fins, she knew exactly who's blood it was, what caused it, and the memory of what happened when her fins did stain in his blood. While his breathing still wasn't controlled, Cyril was able to whisper, holding a paw to his chest and dropping sweat, "Ignitus... please... I don't want her to see any of this blood."

He understood why he was saying this, and with his paw off his back, Ignitus snapped his fingers. Hearing this snap, Flair quickly focused forward once again out of pure fear, and upon a quick inspection, she noticed the blood soaked bed was now completely cleaned, as well as Cyril's body. Now feeling much better then before, Cyril could feel his body calming now, and with this, his memory grew much easier to control now as he wasn't so focused on the pain. Taking a step towards her, Flair took a step back, and even though he saw this, he continued to approach her. Shedding tear after tear, Flair couldn't read if he was upset at her or not, but she still apologized, though with almost no power in her voice, "Cyril... please, I'm... I'm so sorry... I swear... I promised... I would never hurt you again..." Knowing she had broken that promise, her arms balled up as she looked to the floor, "And I failed you..."

Waiting for the punishment she knew she would get, Flair still continued to apologize even in her mind, Please... Cyril... believe me. The punishment she assumed would come from pain, like a hit or a slap; however, rather than pain, she felt comfort. Suddenly to her back, a warm type of cold covered her back, and knowing this feeling well, she picked up her head rather quick. Widening her eyes, she noticed as Cyril sat in front of her, smiling, and keeping his wings over her back. She never expected the comfort after what she had done, especially not a smile, though, it didn't last long as he was quick to frown. At this point, she didn't know what to think, but never would she have guessed that this is what he would've said next, "Please tell me you aren't hurt."

His words warmed her heart as, even though she understood what he was asking, she couldn't understand it, "Wh... What...?"

"The door," He nudged his head over to it, "I... saw you took a rather tough tumble running over to it. I just want to make sure you aren't in any pain," She was in complete shock for his words now, and as if she didn't already have enough on her mind, his words caused that much more for her to have thought over, "Hehe, you know... Now that there is a hole in our door, it's going to be a lot harder for you to kill your prey discreetly," While he chuckled to make everything better, he still noticed the surprise in her eyes, along with tears, and doing as he did before, using the back of his claw, he rubbed a tear from the bottom of her eye, "Don't you remember what you said? Tears are itchy when they show. There's no need to cry, Flair. I promise you... you're safe... and I will make sure of that."

For some reason that she couldn't understand, her blood boiled to hear his help over her after what she did to him, and this caused her to face down to the floor once again, "No..."

"Hehe, though, don't worry about the door. I'm sure it wouldn't be too much to ask for Ignitus to use his time power and repair it," He didn't hear her at first, but he also didn't hear her word afterwards as well.

"No..."

"You weren't here for this, but... I respect what Ignitus did for Claire, and I wish to do the same for you. If you're still scared about the blood or, what happened... why be? Are you sure it wasn't just a dream? Because from the looks of it, I'm healed; there's no blood on the bed, you, or anywhere else for that matter. So, I guess we might as well just continue our day as normal..."

"NO!"

Now hearing her voice, he frowned as he understood she was still in pain, and unfortunately for him, she backed away from him and now declined the comfort from his wings. Stood away from him now, Cyril frowned to see her struggles, and he wished there was more he could do: something he could've done to help her sooner, Even after all this time... I've still failed you. Flair made sure to show her fins as she sharpened them, trying to hide the fact that deep down she was truly suffering. Even with her show of a trembling body, teary eyes, and curled fingers, it took all she could to continue her rage against him, "I don't believe you!" No one else had been here for this, so no hearing what had happened last night was an eye opener for them, "After all this shit, you still protect me! Just last night alone, I turned against you, attacked you, dumped you, and bashed you as I talked with Flint, yet, you still protected me!" Cyril remembered, but the others gasped to hear, "I almost killed you, and this day just started! I will not take another STEP until you punish me for all the shit I've put you through!" Straining back now, she wished she hadn't said this, but it was what she felt needed to be said, "I thank you for trying to protect me, but if this relationship is to ever become anything more than what it is now, I can't keep going with the fear of how you might hurt me... so just... show me the pain now...! Let me... experience it... so I understand what life I will have in the future..."

A frown stayed to Cyril's face as he didn't know how to approach this situation, and he made sure to think about this before acting, I could never hurt her... and even just raising my paw to her as a joke, or as an idea for her punishment... I couldn't do it... So then... how do I go through with what she wants without causing her any harm? The others wondered just as much to what he would do, and while he was trying his best to think of what to do, Claire wanted to step in and help her cope with some fears she knew she might be having right now, "Flair..." With her name being called by her friend, she tried not to pay attention to her, "We remember what you said to us yesterday... how you wanted to see us all again in the Chambers... Nothing that has happened will change that, and we are all here for you. Flint used me to try and kill Ignitus, and just like back then, I had supporters. All of us, are here just the same to support you."

"You don't know what I'm capable of," Flair growled to her, trying to hide the fact that her words helped.

"Hehe, well, after you tried to kill Spyro, I'm sure we all understand that."

Taking a deep inhale, Cyril had an idea, "I got...!"

Because of his inhale, he let off a violent cough of which he covered his mouth for. Even though Flair was trying to play her anger at this point, seeing him cough so violently, she knew it was her fault for this pain, only making it confirmed for her that she deserved what ever was to happen to her. Ersa made sure to keep notes on everyone's behaviour throughout for what was going on, and for the most part, her focus was to how Flair reacted to Cyril's condition. Clearing his throat now, Cyril was able to get a hold of himself, and remembering back to what he had to say, he looked to Flair and first tried to divert what his cough was from, "Ahem... hehe... sorry. I forgot to tell you I have... uh... Lung-ah-meningitis... yeah! That's it!"

"So you're saying you have a brain in your lungs?" Volteer chuckled, "Meningitis is an inflammation of the membranes surrounding your brain and spinal cord."

"Volteer... Not the time my guy," Cyril grumbled as his plan was now completely foiled, "Anyway! I have the prefect, punishment, for you to endure, Flair," The emphasis he put on punishment kicked her breath, and though her heart wished to stop at this point, something within her trusted what he was to say, "So, thinking about this for a second, I've decided, your punishment," While the others wondered normally, Flair held her breath, ducking her head even as he took a step towards her, preparing for him to hit her head or something, "You have to be my lover for an hour."

With an aggressive shiver, her body didn't expect this, and at first, she wasn't even so sure she heard him right at first, Wh... What...? Her fins eased some as her brain reprocessed what was said, and now with what he said stuck in her mind, her head raised while her eyes widened. With joy coming back to hear, it helped her voice speak freely, easily, and she made sure to relayed back what he had said, "You want me... to be your lover...? But... how... how is that a punishment?"

"Hehehe," Cyril's chuckle always helped Flair feel so comfortable, "Well, it's not a punishment for me, that's for sure. But, remember back to what you said, how you'd rather burn in the sun then to ever think about loving someone like me," Smiling now, the girls remember this movement and appreciated what Cyril was doing, and even for Flair, she was trying to fight back against it, "You're not going to enjoy this punishment, my love. Though, crazy enough, you're only going to endure the second worst punishment I have for you," Approaching her now, a smile crept across his face as he spoke down to her, whispering with some lust, "So you better be careful. Because if you keep acting so bad, then I guess I'll have to start calling you... my mate... for the highest order of punishment," Growling, Flair tried her best to fight against his advancements, but unfortunately, he made sure that he was the center of attention, "Now... get on the bed so I can enjoy that neck of yours."

The others could see the joy she wanted desperately to experience, and even for herself, Flair couldn't hold herself back even as badly as she wanted to. Her fins eased, the violent shivers disappeared, and now the only tears of pain and fear that dropped were from left overs. Ducking her head back now even, a tear of joy dropped from her eye as she thought, I should've killed this dragon when I had the chance, mom. It was a sudden surprise to everyone, but Flair was able to find her voice quick enough to get some control over this situation, "Everyone aside from Cyril, out!"

No one went against her words and smiled to see she did seem much more calmed then when they first saw her in the Chambers. Doing as they were all told, Terrador and Trish were the first to head out, followed by Volteer, Ersa, Claire, and then finally, Ignitus. Since he was the last one out, Ignitus made sure to help give the two some privacy. Cyril noticed as Ignitus had shut the door, the hole had been completely patched up, and with the blood plus the damage being gone, it really did seem as though nothing had even happened at all. The silence wasn't long lived which Cyril was happy with as he enjoyed hearing Flair speak, "Why...?" Looking down to her now, she raised her head back up as she needed to look him in the eyes to say what she needed, "I almost killed you... You're still not even sure if I'm telling the truth from yesterday... Even though it's my fault that I've caused so much distrust in our relationship... why do you protect me...?"

"Flair..." His voice went as low as hers, and he showed a frown, "How bad... was your nightmare? What happened in it to scare you so badly?"

Having to remember back to it, since he had asked, she wanted to be honest with him, "At first... it didn't... start off as a nightmare. I was actually pretty excited, the most I've ever been in a long time to go with you and everyone else to the beach. You were gone, and once I got off the bed, you walked into our room... You... apologized to me... and I couldn't understand why... but then... at the door... and walking to your side... stood my father..." He didn't need to hear the rest to understand where this was going, and now it all made sense as to why her reaction was so violent, "I... tried to get your help... but you turned away... you walked out of the room... and I... I begged... I pleaded... for you... even Cynder... to help me..."

"Hey," Using a claw, he helped raise her head as he could see tears wanting to form, and with the side of his claw to her chin, Cyril helped ease her, "Please don't worry about having to tell me the details... I'll let Ignitus just show me that nightmare... that way... hopefully... I can do everything in my power to keep such a thing from happening. Though, I've already promised, and I will continue to promise to protect you; from anyone, which includes Flint or your Father."

"Cyril, it's okay... I know who you are, and I shouldn't have let that nightmare get to me... I'm... sorry... and if anything..." Sighing as she couldn't believe she was about to say this, after the help he gave to her, she didn't mind saying it at this point, "I will... allow you... to lick my neck. And yeah yeah, I know what I said yesterday about how I'd bite but... I... I need your comfort so badly right now."

"I will go as slow and be as gentle as I possibly can."

"Thank you, Cyril," Flair smiled to him, though, remembering back, she knew she shouldn't enjoy this, "I mean... Ahem... I'm not going to enjoy this, and you know it."

"I know your moans will beg to differ."

"Cyril... I still bite. Just remember that."

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh," Sat down in a row in the back of the Chambers as usual, Ignitus, using both paws, rubbed the top of his forehead for what he had just heard from Flair, "Great... It seems like every day is just one problem after another. But if anything, I'm glad Cyril isn't holding her accountable for what had happened. And before anyone asks, no, I wasn't the one who caused the nightmare. There was one time back when those two were getting together, but I went against it."

"So, if you weren't the one who caused it, I'm assuming it was Erebus?" Ersa growled, remembering back to when she was attacked the same back in the day.

"Erebus? Who's that?" Trish asked her.

"To answer both your questions with Ersa first; yes, it was him. And as for you, Trish, Erebus is an Ancestor," Ignitus took back over as to explain and answer the other two, "Basically, not only could I cause nightmares and dreams, but so can the mind, as well as Erebus. The problem is that, when it comes to dreams more from an outside power compared to your brain, it's much harder to tell when you are or aren't really living what's going on. That's why most of our dreams are much more powerful than standard thoughts."

"But now another question I have is, why didn't you help Flair the same way you helped me?" Ersa had another question.

"One of the biggest reasons is that I didn't know. As I've been bashed for many times, I don't really know what happens, only my clones do, so I had no idea Cyril was injured. But even if I did know, I might've not changed anything or prevented that nightmare. I know you all don't know what's happened to her, but this is a perfect way for her to see us as a family. Even if she almost killed him, we all still have her back... we aren't turning ours away like her previous family."

"Who's she and who did she almost kill?" Spyro asked with slight anger as he entered into the Chambers, and with the others looking, they watched as he and Cynder made their way over to the right wall, whereas Malefor and Carith made it to the left wall, "I'm assuming this 'she' is Flair, and this 'he' is Cyril?" The others looked at one another and swallowed hard as they didn't know what to say afterwards, "Last night, she was threatened to kill Cyril, and if you tell me that she actually tried to go through with it, then..."

"Spyro," Cynder whispered to his right which immediately got him to stop, "Please... remember what was said... remember what we talked about last night."

"Don't worry, Spyro, it wasn't her fault," Ignitus came to Cynder's aid as well, "An Ancestor forced a rather difficult nightmare for her to experience, and her reaction was very much valid. Just to help ease you as well as everyone else, I did ask my clone what all had happened. Basically with how she was laying, her fins all went into his side, neck, and even underneath his maw. If anything, even though she did almost accidentally kill him, her dedication to get help as quickly as possible was nice to see."

"What do you mean?" Spyro asked.

"Well, after her fins reacted from the nightmare, she was quick to act; acting so fast in fact that her body lunged off the bed with so much speed that she didn't have enough time to slow herself down, causing her to trip, roll, and barrel through the door. She was quick to think of who to go to for help, remembering I had the healing powers and ran back to the Chambers," Now explaining it fully, it did seem to help even if only a little, "Hehe, and don't worry. Right now, Cyril's making sure to punish her as she wanted some kind of punishment for all that she's done."

"Sex?!" Malefor smiled wide.

"No!" Terrador quickly shot him down.

Laid to her back now, facing the same way as the bed with her head facing the left end of the bed, and her tail laid out facing the right end of the bed, Flair watched with teeth, but also a heavy blush to see Cyril reaching both his right paw and right leg over her body and planting them down next to her. With her wings sprawled, her tail flat, and her body underneath his now as he stood over her, Flair growled for the position she was in, and the smile that Cyril had the entire time as he looked to her body didn't help, "Listen!" She bit up at him, but it didn't do much, "Don't get any funny ideas! You're simply here to fill your disgusting needs for my punishment and that's it! This will be nothing more than that!"

"Hehe, funny too. When you said you're simply here to fill, thought you were talking about me doing that to you," Cyril continued to make this as much of a punishment as he could.

"CYRIL!" Flair now felt her blood boil after hearing him say something like that, and even though he chuckled afterwards, it didn't help her, "I'm serious when I say this! I will kick your stupid blue ass!"

"It's a punishment, is it not?" He raised a brow to her, "And... honestly... this is one of those times where I know... I need to make you proud," Her anger went away some as his voice changed, as well as his looks: going from seductive to almost loving in a way, "If I tell you that I'm here to simply nibble your neck, you'll trust me then. If I tell you everything will be okay, and it does, you'll trust me then too. And if we are to be together, then by me saying I'd never be with anyone else then with you... you'll... trust me..."

Giving a sigh, this helped bring back memories of what he once said to her, "'It's not your love that you're after in me, or even to be my mate... but my trust...'" While phrased a little differently, Flair compiled what he said together in a much smoother motion, "You've always said that to me..." He smiled to hear her understanding, and now with what he had said lingering in the back of her mind, it helped ease her, "Then... I guess I need to trust you now... You've never given me a reason not to trust you, and so..." Laying her head back and purposefully exposing her neck, she still held a blush, "I trust that you'll keep your word to me."

She felt as the bed shook after what she had said, but rather then think on it, her eyes simply closed as she prepared for what was to come. At first, Cyril didn't know what to do. Looking to her neck made him focus to most of her body: from her face, her neck, her chest, and as his eyes continued to follow her body, he got to her stomach before finally stopping himself. Stiffening and trying to control his breaths, he took a sigh, It really does hurt to see such a beautiful body, and to know it... she... has been through so much when she should've had the good life. Not only that, but I don't know if I 'should' be enjoying myself as I lick her neck, or if I should just view this as nothing more than a simple punishment to her. Hearing almost a small whimper, he looked to Flair, noticing she was preparing herself, tensing even for what was about to happen, which only fueled his desire to please her. Damn it... I can't tell myself that I wouldn't enjoy this. Now with his mind made up, Cyril proceeded with the punishment. Moving his head down, his instincts kicked in as everything in his mind grew to steps. Using his breath, he made sure to warm her neck, and seeing goosebumps from her as she shivered, the first step was done. Now moving on, his tongue grew from his mouth, though at first, as it connected, it was much more tamed: easier as it still stayed within his mouth. But as time went on, going from the bottom of her neck, to the middle, and then up almost to the bottom of her maw, his tongue fully dropped out from his mouth. Now with full power to his tongue, he made sure every single scale to her neck shined in his saliva. Focused to the middle, then the left before heading to the right, Flair's claws and toes started to curl as she tried to fight back against this feeling, but with the extent of her neck, it only gave him other places to lick. Unfortunately for her and with no control, her voice dropped and her moan was let out, "Cyril~..."

With this single moan alone, Cyril now was in complete focusing mode as to please the female he was with. Backing his head to see the shining from her neck due to his tongue, Flair thought it was over, but once feeling a sudden bite coming over from both her left and right side of her neck, it felt as though her entire body froze with a gasp. The strength she once had saved to fight back against him now diminished from this bite. Having tested her scales with his tongue, Cyril was able to successfully find the correct amount of pressure to put into his bites. Not only did he work his way up her neck, putting the same bite down each time, but with his mouth being opened, he was able to not only lick the middle of her neck, but the scales around his teeth as to sooth them with each bite, assuring no pain would be caused to her. Everything he did sent Flair's heart ablaze as everything felt right. Thoughts of his smile, thoughts of his voice and his gentle nature, and even understanding why he was doing what he was doing, it was again a driving force to her body as her pleasure gave way to another almost seducing moan that she couldn't hold, "Cyril~...!"

With almost no control or thought in his voice, once hearing the moan and easing up on his bite; saliva dripping down from his mouth and onto her neck, Cyril listened to her breathing, and could tell every second she was enjoying herself. Not thinking twice about it, his head moved forward, and seeing her head rest almost sideways; facing the door, it felt like she was his, and he smiled to think about such a thing. Since he had no thought, no way of telling himself to stop, his voice was seductive, trying everything now to almost seduce her in a way while still seeming tamed, "You better get use to moaning my name."

Even after the warmth of his breath touched her, even after the time of her life that she was having, hearing this seduction now set her off. Her body shivered, but not in a good way, and now coming back to her senses, Flair's teeth clenched quickly. Using her paws, she was very forceful. Putting them to Cyril's chest, she shoved as hard as she could, sending him flying backwards and causing him to crash back down onto the bed and onto his back. Scurrying away from him as though she were afraid of him now, her entire body was quick to stand, backing away from him even and listening as he gave out a growl. This growl indicated something entirely different for her, and her thoughts didn't help either, He's... He's going to hurt me! He's... He's going to hit me for what I did! For not letting him... These thoughts scared her, but in reality, there wasn't a need to fear. What the hell happened to me? Cyril questioned himself, growling as it felt as though he had just come back from being taken over by the darkness. With his mind now coming back to him, he gasped as he realized what he had done, Flair! Rolling quickly to his side and up to his paws, he focused to Flair and noticed as she ducked her head: sharpening her fins as she looked to him with fear. After all that had happened, Cyril had hopes that this would be the time to show her he could understand her, "Wa-wa-wa-wait! Flair! It's me! It's... It's Cyril!" Rather then taking a step forward, he took steps back, giving her the room she needed, "That was wrong of me; that was wrong of me to say and I should've had better control over my body then that..." Because of the room he had given her, she was able to feel much more at ease then caged, so it helped her stretch her body out more, "I've said this many times and I will say it again... You're beyond beautiful... and seeing your scales, hearing your voice, and feeling as though I was finally doing something to help you I..." Sighing, he didn't wish for him to say something that would cause a fight and simply accepted what he did, "Please believe me that I would never force you to do something you didn't want to, unless that's what your punishment calls for..."

"Cyril," Flair not only surprised herself, but him as well as she felt comfortable enough to talk back with him, "You stayed by my neck and didn't go any further, aside from when you spoke to me. And for that... you get a pass," Cyril sighed rather heavily to hear, and while he enjoyed what she had said, Flair didn't enjoy the fact that her face burned as she asked this question, "But I have to ask... How... How did you... please... me... so well? How did you know what to do in such a romantic fashion?"

"I... had a previous lover, remember?" Cyril tried to chuckle about it but he couldn't bring himself to lie with his emotions, which Flair noticed, "I wanted to be the best mate that I could for my female. Volteer gave me many, many books to help me understand all about females and how to be a successful mate. I guess you could say, I had practice... but... since she left me... maybe... I did something wrong... which makes me think what I did for you was wrong as..."

"NO!" Flair cried out, but more with hope and correction then anything, which once again, her actions surprised Cyril, "Ahem.. what I... what I meant was... don't you dare try and change yourself Cyril... I... enjoy you for you... and while I don't want to say this, I... trust you... with this information," Once again feeling the burning pain of her red blush, Flair was able to ease the burning with her own fire, "After what you did... I could... see myself getting into more trouble just so you'd punish me the same way you just did..."

Cyril felt a stab before an explosion of joy to his heart to hear this, and Flair noticed the smile and joy as he spoke, "Heheheheh... well, I... I'm just... glad I didn't hurt you... I tried my best to make everything amazing, including the part where I lick near where I bite to ease the scales in case I'm being too hard..." Flair remembered that, and unfortunately for her, she couldn't bring herself to enjoy this moment as much as she could: still with fear lingering, "I don't want you to think I'd ever be someone you don't want me to be, someone who uses you to harm you, or someone like Argus... So... please allow me to step out. I will give you your space, and if you want to, you can start thinking about how to punish me next. And since... I'm not here... you don't have to worry or think that I might manipulate you into making a decision..."

Flair sighed to hear this, "How many times do I have to tell you that you aren't a manipulator," Cyril was successful in completely defusing a situation that could've been chaotic, and he smiled to see her fins easing as she walked back over to him, "Cyril... the only thing I'm upset at right now is myself," Stood in front of him now, he already knew a couple of reasons why she may be upset, "Honestly... I really... really wish, I could be enjoying this moment with you with so much more emotion. You truly would make an amazing partner, an amazing mate... which is why... I guess I know... I could never be with someone like you..."

"Hehe, I'm sure I could change your mind. My tongue is rather skilful not just on the neck of a female."

"I'd definitely envy the girl you choose as your mate that's for sure."

"I mean... I know what you said about thinking of us being mates and all but..."

"Cyril..." Even as well as it seemed things were going, Flair had to stop him, "I'm... sorry... I will take you up on what you said by you leaving me to my own thoughts. I won't tell you what I'm thinking about or how I'm feeling right now because I just need... I..."

"Flair... It's okay," While his voice was enough, a quick kiss to her cheek helped that much more, "That's why I can smile because I know you'll enjoy some alone time from here on out, because you know you'll never truly be alone. When ever you're ready, an entire family of dragons is out there that will be waiting for you... including me. But I can say right now, if you do take more than five minutes, I may come rushing back in here to check on you."

"Hehe, I know you will," Flair both giggled and smiled, helping Cyril understand he did right.

Nothing else felt like it needed to be said, and so, with Flair's smile stuck to Cyril's thoughts, he turned away from her and climbed down off the bed. Flair watched as he walked over to the door, and a sudden shiver activated both her fears, and her voice, "Cyril! Wait!" He stopped and turned to her, "I know this is weird to say but... could you please shut the door on your way out?" Cyril raised a brow to her, and though he didn't need a reason as he knew to obey her, she still explained, "In my nightmare... the door was open as I woke up... and that's when you walked in with Fabian later joining, and I..."

"Flair..." He made sure to smile back to her, "He will not hurt you. And as much as I'm your prey, I'm also your Guardian Angel; I'm your male, which also makes you my female. I will talk to the others and we will all be at the ready for anyone to show."

His words were more than enough to help, and with his confidence, with his understanding, Flair had to shed a tear of joy to him, "You really had to go and tease me didn't you...? If you just would've kept that big mouth of yours over my neck and not using it to speak, I could've continue to enjoy you."

"Something for me to remember... But also just as a reminder; I have to be punished for it, so it's all up to you for what you want."

She nodded to him, still keeping a smile, "Thank you... Cyril..."

"I know just the way to get everyone's mind off of what's happened, even though it was an accident," Unable to contain herself any longer, Trish took charge as she wanted the honest words of everyone from yesterday's event, "You weren't here for this, Cynder, but Terrador made me a promise and I do wish for this to happen. Basically, he agreed that if all the girls won their battles against the male they were with, he would be sure to give me plenty of licks and nibbles to my neck."

"What?!" Cynder cried in awe, "Terrador... after what you said about how we aren't vampires, you went and agreed to bite her neck?"

"Yeah yeah yeah..." Terrador knew he was to be called out, but he still smiled as he knew he was wrong, "Maybe I was wrong, okay?"

"So now the question I have for you Cynder is, did you win your battle against Spyro?" Trish questioned.

Unfortunately for Cynder, she knew she had lost very early on, There's no way I won after all that Spyro did for me last night, but I'm not going to say I didn't win because I want Trish to smile. Scared of what to say, surprisingly, Spyro took over for her decision, "Despite what you might've seen, I very much lost," This got Cynder to smile to his help, but since he faced Trish, he didn't notice, "I tried everything from my strength, to my darkness, and even my regular powers, but her poison was just too much. It also didn't help that she got the upper paw on me before I could even react."

"And since that's a point for the girls, I can say that you also have my point as well," Carith also agreed that she had won her own battle.

"What makes you think I lost?" Malefor chuckled.

"It's okay to lose, Malefor," Rubbing up against his side and reaching a paw around to his chest, her lust was very much there in both her voice and eyes, "I can help you lose other things as well, something that Ersa took from Volteer."

"Ahem!" Ignitus coughed, trying to get the two to calm themselves as Carith's words grew wide eyes and blushes from everyone, "I will also agree that I lost as well."

"What?!" Trish and Ersa both found that hard to believe.

"Hehe, trust me when I say, it was definitely a battle," Claire giggled, and the others noticed the rather happy smile to Ignitus, "He did what he said he would at first and mainly focused on teasing me. I almost gave in but found strength just as he backed his head from my neck. I took my chances, got him to his back and threatened to freeze his wings if he tried something. I won't go into too much detail as things got a little.. hot and heavy but... I did win."

"Hahaha!" Malefor laughed out loud, "Hot and heavy... sounds like she's talking about your fat ass, Ignitus."

"Sorry, I also meant to say long..."

"You all are naughty," Ersa sighed, though she could understand why, "Anyway, as I'm sure you're all aware, my fight with Volteer was very swift."

"Because every time I kept trying to stand above you, you'd pressure point my ass and I'd constantly end up on my back," Volteer chuckled as be remembered such a loss.

"I don't know. I think you just wanted to be on your back so you could see me bounce on your..."

"OKAY!" Terrador had to take a final step in, growling to hear the two giggle, "Then I guess all that leaves is Flair and Cyril. And if I'm being honest, I think we all know who'd win the battle against the two," Terrador heard the gasp, and as he looked to Trish, he saw the shines in her eyes, almost like stars as she held her paws together with a big, joyful smile, "Hehehe..." He had to smile to see her reaction, "At this point, I know there's no reason for me to say it's a no, though we still do need the confirmation. But..." Bringing his voice low, she was afraid he was scared of having to do something like this with her, "Trish... take this how you will but..."

"I can take it from behind if that's what your implying," Trish was sure to smile as she said this.

"Hehe, I mean... the future is unsure and anything could happen, but... Don't get me wrong... I want to do this for you, I want for you to be happy, and I want for every day to be a memory to enjoy... I just..."

"Terrador..." Trish kept her voice low to sooth, "I want to be with you, and I'd understand if you want to back out on this promise because you're scared. I want to be your lover, I want to be your mate, but pushing that will only push you away; make you feel as though I'm using you..." After just a couple seconds of help, Terrador now felt more than enough passion to continue with his promise "If you want me to back away, I will... I will feel more joy in my heart knowing you're happy then not..."

She had high hopes that she did help him in his fears, and from the smile on his face to her words, she was glad to hear she succeeded, "That... means a lot to me Trish..." Just to help her out, he blush and decided to have a little fun himself, "But... you talked about backing away... Just make sure that, if you were to back that ass up, it's to put it against me."

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeew, dude!" Malefor cried, and while Terrador's words gave Trish even more hope, it gave him more disgust, "I don't think I like flirty Terrador. Ignitus is whatever, Volteer is a horn-dog, Cyril I'm sure would die before he ever got some ass, Spyro needs desperately to get laid in the future, but you... talking about a girl backing her ass up to you? Hehe, Hahaha! Yeah freaking right!"

"Try me," Trish growled, "Just you wait. I'll take Terrador for a ride until he's as dry as a desert."

"Ahem... okay, once again, gross. Secondly... I have no idea if forcing a man dry would be painful or... painful... but Third..." Opening his eyes wide as he watched Cyril walk into the Chambers and immediately head to the back to sit with the other Guardians, Malefor was excited to finally say what he wanted, "CYRIL!" This was a sudden surprise to him, and he backed away some as he stood out of fear for what may happen, "Dude, Dude dude dude, we heard what happened, and it's okay. BUT! To honor your heroics, I decided to write you a song."

Everyone looked to one another with extreme worry; sweat dripping off of all their foreheads as they prepared for the worst. Using his water as to wet his mouth, Malefor cleared his throat before letting shine his beautiful lyrics, "C-y-r-i... l-s-a-s-i-m-p, yeah, C-y-r-i... l-s-a-s-i-m-p, he's flying back row, up in the sky, poppin' vodka, cause his life sucks in the slow lane, and he won't change for he's a simp. Cyril's a simp yeah he's a simp. Oooooh the simp-y simp-y, yeah!"

"DID YOU REALLY DEDICATE TIME AND EFFORT INTO A SHITTY SONG?!" Cyril yelled at him almost at full force.

"I SAY IF YOU AIN'T GOT NO MONEY TAKE YO'BROKE ASS HOME, YOU SAY: IF WE AIN'T GOT NO MONEY TAKE YO'BROKE ASS HOME!"

"Can we be normal... for five minutes?" Spyro questioned himself after listening to the two bicker.

"Call me a simp one more time, I dare ya, I double dare ya motha fu..."

"Language, please," Malefor continued to mess with him by using a preppy voice, "There's no need to be upset about facts."

"Fact is, if I don't kill you by the time Flair gets out here, I'll be DAMN SURE she kills you for me!"

"Hehe, and what is Flair going to do to me? I could easily beat her in a fight," Malefor seemed so confident in his abilities, but after saying this, and hearing the complete silence and wide eyes everyone gave him, his attitude quickly changed as his head ducked low in fear, swallowing hard now as he wish he could take it back, "Ah-heh... I was... only joking... hehe... please no one tell Flair... I would much prefer feeling my heart in my chest then being forced to swallow it."

"The scariest part... I'm almost sure she'd rip out your heart and force you to choke on it too," Even for Spyro, he had to shiver at his own words, "But, look on the bright side, if that does happen, at least your heart will still be in your chest some how," Now saying it out loud, it caused a fearful shiver to the others as well just from the thought, and even Spyro had to back track on his words, "On second thought, let's talk about something else."

Is this really my second chance? Laid to the bed facing straight, Flair stayed to her thoughts and silence as no one else was in her room to comfort or talk to her. I always bitch to Cyril that he wouldn't leave me alone, but then when he does, I bitch that he did. And I find it even crazier to think that... I didn't hate anything that happened for my punishment. Even after what he said; how he reacted, how he backed away rather then advanced... and even his growl which I thought was to me. Dripping a tear to such thoughts, none brought her pain. It was just a nightmare, and that will always stay true. Cyril would never harm me, and that... will always stay true. With her sadness now setting in thanks to her thoughts and memories, Flair knew it was time to move. All I want right now is to be under his wing. I'll be damed if I ever admitted that but... I did last night so... what else do I have to fear? Standing up to the bed now, she ducked low as she crawled down off of it. First her paws touched the ground before her feet followed, and with her tail sliding off the bed, her body now moved to the door. Damn you, Cyril. I told you I didn't want another life. Why didn't you just let me kill you back then? Reaching up to the door, her thoughts stayed active as she proceeded to open it. How could I let you get to me? Because now all I want... is... a second chance at life. With the door opened and out of her way, she walked out into the hallway. And you've given that to me. The smile Flair had was very short lived as to the corner of her eye, she noticed something dark, much darker then that of a hallway without light. Sharpening her fins, jumping off to her left and facing down the hallway, she noticed the dark dragon sitting there, and with the features it had, she already knew who it was, "What the hell do you want, Flint."

"I gave you a warning, I gave you a second chance to PROVE yourself," Flint made sure his anger showed.

"And I made my choice," Flair stood her ground, "It was either I had a second chance to help you, or I had a second chance at life. I made my decision. So if you don't mind, I'd like to head back to my real, family."

"Oh you will, but either way, Cyril's death today will all be assured, and it's all, thanks, to you."

"What are you getting..." Gasping as she knew exactly what was to happen, her body turned as quickly as it could before letting off as loud of a cry as she could, "CYR...!"

It was too late as Flint had acted fast enough. With the dark dragon body, all the smoke and darkness immediately possessed her body, locking all control she had over herself. No...! Flair cried one final thought before watching as all light faded; all strength and sense of light disappeared from her body. Her fins now eased, and with Flint in full control, he couldn't help but smile as he made his way to the Chambers now.

Muffled sounds of the others were heard to Spyro, though he didn't pay much attention to anything that was being said, and rather stayed to himself, speaking with his friends Kettu and Xvar. Hey, you guys. I know that I already thanked you before for your help last night but... I just... I was wondering if there would be anything I could do for you all? You said you were abandoned, betrayed, and used by the Ancestors, but I wish to be different; the opposite of what they were. How can I do that? It took some time for a response which gave some fear to him as he believed them to be gone, but thankfully, Kettu had spoken, "Sorry, Spyro, we're just not use to... help... I guess. We don't know what we'd ask for as we never expected us to be anything else but pawns." Spyro felt horrible to hear him say this, and even Xvar had the same reaction, "It also doesn't help that your kind is what stained the past in rage and war. And I'm not talking about the dragon species, I'm talking about the first purple dragon." Hearing such a surprise made his body shoot upwards, though at first, it was from surprise, What?! Even as his body eased, his body shot upwards once again, only for a different reason. Wait... are you two using your darkness? Kettu growled as he answered, "No... that's someone else's darkness. In fact, it's the exact darkness that was in this building last night." Gasping now as he understood what it might be, Spyro grew to his dark form, but as he did, he stopped, clenching his teeth even, and unfortunately, he couldn't keep his words to his thoughts, "Damn it..."

Cynder noticed his shivers, shakes, and sweats as he sat next to her, and now hearing him growl; fighting between going into his dark form or not, she feared for his safety, "Spyro... is... everything okay? Is something wrong with your darkness?"

Spyro didn't respond, but even if he wanted to, all eyes were pointed to the main entrance of the Chambers. Cynder noticed this and looked herself, and once seeing who it was, she smiled to see, "Hey, Flair. How's everything going?"

She not only showed her teeth to her, but as she looked to Spyro, the anger in this show of teeth on her grew more. This anger seemed rather unnatural for the others, and since Ersa was able to make the most sense out of it, she called it out, "Wait a minute... I just realized that Cyril walked into these Chambers all by himself rather than being with Flair," Looking over to Cyril now, she wondered why that was, "What did you do to her, Cyril?"

Cyril blushed slightly, but recalling back to the last time he was with her and everything seeming fine, he called it how it was, "I... made a little... mistake... As her supposed punishment went on, one thing led to another and I... told her to... get use to moaning my name," Everyone aside from Flair and Spyro gasped as they all knew that wasn't minor, but instead a major screw up, "Yeah... I... I know... After I said that, I backed away, we talked, and I gave her some space. It was... uncalled for..."

"You're damn right," Claire sighed, "Cyril, of all dragons, you should know most of all that you don't tell Flair what to do or feel," He nodded and understood, but she didn't want him to feel as though she was really bashing him, "Hehe... don't worry, Cyril, I'm not actually upset. I just know how to pick my sides, and if anything, I'm proud of Flair," Looking over to Flair, she had to ask her, "I'm assuming this neck bite took place with you to your back? And if so, did you force him off?"

"I should've done it with my tail blade," Flair growled, and with the anger in her voice, it was rather odd to hear, especially to Cyril as he thought things went well, "And so what if I did?"

"If you think you're going to lose a family over it, don't," Cynder stepped in, knowing her voice would surely be heard, "Put Cyril in his place, Flair. As long as you don't kill him, which I trust as your friend that you'd never do, we all believe in you and your efforts to better your life. And if he's bothering you, we have you back."

As if things couldn't get any weirder, they all noticed that her teeth still showed, but for her being so upset, they didn't understand why she would shed a tear and not act to it. Flair simply disregarded her words, as well as those around her and made sure to focus to one single dragon, "Cyril..." Walking over to him, he dropped some sweat but believed things would be okay, "Why after a nightmare would you leave me alone? Were you trying to piss me off? Or did you think it would be funny if I started to go insane being alone and all to myself?"

"What?" Her words completely confused him, "I thought you wanted some alone time... we even agreed that..."

"Stop!" Now stood in front of him, her teeth showed to his eyes, "There's the problem: you thought. What would've happened if a dragon came into the window above and attacked me? What would've happened if I was to die in my sleep by having my throat suddenly slit, and you weren't there?" He ducked his head now as it made sense to him, and since it did seem like he messed up, he didn't say anything against her words, "What's wrong? After knowing you couldn't have sex with me, and that my will is stronger then yours, you immediately gave up your help to protect me?"

"I would never," Cyril knew he could defended himself against that, "You even said it yourself; it's not your body that I'm after, but rather your trust."

"And look what happened when I gave you a chance. You abused it, and now it only makes me understand more as to why you should've never had my trust."

"Flair, I don't understand... Just a little bit ago, you seemed so happy about how things went; how I backed away from you to let you breathe so you wouldn't think I was pushing or pursuing you. Did something happen in the time I was gone up until now?" Spyro showed his teeth as he had an idea, but no one focused to him as they all wondered what was going on between Cyril and Flair, "You know I'd do anything to make you happy, anything to prove that I will be there for you, and that you can trust me," An idea popped into his head which helped him raise himself with even a smile, "Oh! Did you have time to think on my own punishment after what I had done? Maybe after you put me in my place, that will help you feel better knowing that you still and will always have power over me."

"Cough-simp-cough-cough," Malefor pretended to fake cough, though since he used his words rather than actually coughing, everyone heard.

"And you can even kill Malefor afterwards if you so please," Cyril growled over to his purple friend, whom he was rethinking his decision to call him that.

Flair was quick to smile, but not from the looks of anything good, "So, no matter the punishment, you will let it happen to please me after what you did?"

Cyril nodded to her, blushing as he wanted to be honest, "I will never betray you, Flair... As I said before; I'm your male, which makes you my female. I'm your Guardian Angel, but also your prey. No matter the circumstance, rather it be your anger to kill me as prey, or your joy to see me as your Angel... I will always be there for you."

The girls were rather impressed with his choice of words and all smiled to him for saying what he did. Even for some of the guys such as Volteer and Ignitus, they gave smiles as well. Cyril smiled to her the entire time as well, hoping that all he was doing and saying was working. However, something now seemed more off than ever. He noticed her body started to tremble, yet her tears acted out of either sadness or anger, and now thinking on this, he couldn't understand why she was shivering either. Her face tried to smile but also frown, not knowing what exactly it should lock to, and Cyril worried something else was going on, "Flair... are you okay?"

"No matter the punishment," Flair smiled.

Out of nowhere, her fins sharpened to their max, and her blade swung from her right side straight into the middle of Cyril's chest and belly. Everyone gave gaps to see the strike, but for Cyril, he coughed blood from the sudden attack. Being so close to the two, Volteer turned and blocked his mate from the monster it seemed Flair had become. She noticed his fear and made sure to keep this sense of distrust flowing, "Don't worry," Grabbing the side of Cyril's neck, she threw his body against the wall to her left, and everyone listened to the rip as her blade was forced out his body, "Once I'm done with him, your all talk no bitting bitch of a mate will be next."

"Flair!" Volteer yelled at her, "What the hell's the matter with you!"

"I NEVER CHANGED!" Flair yelled back at him, and rather than backing down, he puffed his chest out more and stood tall to protect his mate, "You all always act like I'm on your side, you always act like I can be changed. You all knew I was an assassin, and I've been one since I first got here! My mission has always been the same, and while I would've liked to prolong the inevitable by killing you all off one by one, I can't... I CAN'T STAND LIVING WITH THIS SHIT ANY LONGER!" Turning around to face Cyril as his back laid against the wall with him covering his wound, Flair continued her torment as she approached him, "Do you not remember what I said last night, about how, if you wanted me to stay with you, then you'd let your lungs fill with blood as I stabbed you, and you'd keep your mouth shut!" Grabbing him by the neck now, her grip tighten hard around his neck, forcing another hard cough of blood as she raised him high enough to the point that she had to stand to her feet, "You're such a disappointment. You couldn't hold the blood in this morning, you failed to keep your promises to me, and I just... why are you such a failure at EVERYTHING YOU DO IN LIFE?!"

Now swinging her blade around once again, it was though the past was repeating itself. Her tail dug through his entire stomach, ripping through his belly, shredding his insides, and since it had enough force, the blade cut through his back completely exposing itself now with every drop of blood from his insides. Now everyone grew defensive, but something didn't add up, and while the girls didn't understand, the others like Malefor still took a stand, "FLAIR! What the hell has gotten into you! I know you all mess around and I call him some dumb shit, but this is taking it too far!"

"Shut up!"

Throwing her other paw back towards him, the fire that was unleashed crossed the middle of the Chambers, but rather it heading for Malefor, it headed straight for Carith's face. Even for Carith, she backed up some with wide eyes, watching as the fire closed in on her face. But the red in her eyes was quickly changed with a purple color. Malefor swung up his paw and allowed the fire to slam against it. This helped him understand exactly how much force and fire power was in the blast, and with this knowledge now, his darkness grew, "Either you calm yourself right now or I will! You're lucky you're not on the GROUND for using lethal fire against my lover!"

Even with all that was going on, Flint was still able to give himself a chuckle from within Flair's mind, This is working out perfectly. With all her memories, I can put on a rather convincing show. And since Spyro's darkness still hasn't show, he clearly doesn't expect the darkness to be the one doing this. Heh... child's play. While all things were going well, one voice stood out above the rest, and Flint knew it was going to be a nuisance, "You're not Flair," Flair didn't have to look to understand who this voice was, and since no one else said anything, they all listened to Ersa, "You can't look me in the eyes and say your emotions were fake. And even if you say they were, your blood also tell a far different story."

"My blood?" Flair questioned.

"You thought it would come back to bite you, but in reality, it only made me feel worse for you. The blood sample I wanted to inspect first was yours. And after some research, I put it through a gem. Black signifying anguish, purple signifying sadness, green signifying sickness, and red signifying rage. Your blood sample was so bruised in a way, that the gem I put it in exploded," Everyone had to give wide eyes with this information, and unfortunately, while Ersa couldn't see the reaction, she didn't need to as she knew she was right, "Me and Volteer do a lot more at night then just bang. I've made something to help you, but even I know that... even with the help of science... what I have won't do nearly as much good as being in a family would."

Grinding his teeth from Flair's body, Flint could feel the control over her becoming much harder to handle. Instead of taking his time now, he knew he needed to start acting, "You know nothing about me... and after today... you won't ever have see me again..." To be as quick as he could, still with the use of Flair's body yanked her blade from his chest, causing another powerful cough of blood to spill down over her body, "But neither will you see Cyril either!"

Watching as she went for his heart now, Spyro didn't watch any longer, taking action against what was going on. In the blink of an eye, his body appeared in front of her, and just as she had done to Cyril, he grabbed her by the neck and now forced her to stand to her feet. Her grip over Cyril's neck completely disappeared, causing his body to fall down from the wall. Since he had lost so much oxygen, he didn't have the strength to hold himself up and simply fell lifeless to the floor down onto his right side. To make matters worse for others that watched, as his body fell, the blood that spilled from the open wound in his back smeared itself on the wall behind him. Now even for Ignitus, he knew something wasn't right, and upon a slight inspection, he found out what was wrong. Why can't I read her thoughts? Gasping now, he couldn't believe he hadn't seen it sooner, "Spyro! That's not Flair...!"

"You're right! It's not," At first, the others were confused, but even they started to realize the truth; however, it seemed like Spyro still hadn't, "It's a monster, like how I've been saying since the very beginning."

"What?!" Everyone was surprised to hear him say.

"Spyro..." Cynder murmured to him, taking a step forward as not even she could read if he was lying or not, "You can't truly believe that... do you...?"

"Hehe, and what are you going to do, Spyro?" Flair laughed, "Kill me, and become a monster yourself. But let me live, and I'll continue to come back days upon months until the end of your life!"

"I'm going to do neither. Instead, I'm going to put you to sleep. You're too dangerous, and I've known that for some time. I'm going to use my time power to knock you out until I see the day that you should dare have a breath. Since you can only be woken by my time power, only I have the decision over your life. And I'll make sure to hide your body somewhere that no one will find."

This was rather extreme, even for Spyro. Even with the damage he had suffered, Cyril couldn't lay to the floor and listen to this. Knowing he wasn't going to hear him give the help she needed, Cyril showed his teeth with blood covering most of them, "Don't you dare..." The others watched as he struggled to stand, and even with his wounds, he was still able to; even having enough drive to show a fighting stance as he faced him, "If anyone is acting out of character, it's you. The Spyro I know, the Spyro I trust, would understand what it's like to listen to everyone as they turned against someone they held close to their heart. I was wrong to think of Cynder of a monster, and the same goes for Flair. I don't care if you could put me in the ground in seconds; just as you fought for what's right, I will do the same..."

"Cynder's nothing like Flair, and if you supposedly trusted me, then you'd shut up and understand that this supposed good girl is a monster."

Watching as Spyro tapped his claw to Flair's chest, the shine of an hour glass made everyone stand, but before they could say anything, Cyril acted, "Spyro!" Kicking off his paws, his body was quickly slammed down to the ground, and though staggered from the sudden force, he was able to look to both sides of himself to see who was holding him down, "Kettu?! Xvar?! What the... hell... do you think you're doing?!"

"If anyone else feels the need to interfere, I'd highly suggest against it."

"Spyro!" Malefor stepped forward, "Even for me to see, you're not acting like yourself! All of us agree that we love having Flair here, and who gives a shit if Cyril was stabbed? It's called training! And it's not like she killed him!"

"So you didn't watch as her blade approached his heart?"

"Then you have the time power to heal him and we talk about this later! Why is that so hard for you to understand?"

"I'm tired of hearing you all constantly protecting a monster. Just shut up and let me do my job."

Now with his paw turning the time power halfway before stopping, while Spyro was ready to push it in, Flint couldn't help but smile, showing the smile from Flair's mouth as well. This is perfect! Even if my darkness is destroyed by the time power, there will be no trace I was ever in this body, which means they'll all believe it was Flair's own doing! And the tension between the family and Cyril will hopefully separate them so I can kill him later! Hahaha! Something within Cyril burned, and catching a hold of this power, he yelled out, "NO!"

To the surprise of everyone, shards of ice exploded out from his body, completely stabbing through both Kettu and Xvar, causing them both to stagger away. As the ice pierced their scales, their bodies were completely encased in ice with a color they hadn't seen from this ice before. Rather it being a cool blue, it looked much deeper in color; darker in a way, almost like a shining diamond. Now completely free from their hold, he lunged towards Spyro, swinging his paw around to stop him. But Kettu and Xvar were much faster. Their bodies shivered within the ice, breaking their confinement and sending ice everyone in almost slow motion as they did it so quickly. Just as Cyril's paw almost reached the side of Spyro's face, Kettu grabbed the left side of Cyril's face and body, where as Kettu grabbed the other side. Stopped almost dead next to him, Spyro looked to see the struggles that Cyril was going through, but rather then acknowledge him, he noticed the blue shards of ice that was made. First Volteer, and now Cyril. Huh, Spyro thought to himself. Kettu and Xvar used force, once again sending Cyril's body back to the ground, back to where he started, only he was much, much weaker after his use of power. Now without options on movement, tears and his voice were all that were left, and even for the others, they didn't know if they could trust Spyro's decision any longer as they listened to Cyril's desperate plea, "Spyro...! Please... please... listen to me... I know, Flair... I know of her innocence... I know... of the pain she's already endured... and I will beg... I will plead...! Just... please... please... don't... hurt her..."

"Spyro..." Making sure he knew what he was doing was wrong, Cynder brought up one of the most daming fears Spyro's ever had, "You've never given me a reason to not trust you... please... please don't let this be the first..."

Most knew how important this was for her to say, but it was especially important as Ersa knew Cynder was making the right call by saying this. Spyro sighed, smiling even, though those to his back couldn't see this. At first, they watched in horror as his paw seemed to push the time power into her body. For Cyril, he nearly died inside to see he had went through with what he did, ducking his head to the ground as he cried in defeat, "Flair... I'm sorry..." Knowing now that Flair's life would now be under the control of Spyro for whether or not he'd be able to see her, this caused his body to almost completely cease, "Spyro..."

Cyril hadn't see it, but for the others who still watched, they noticed something different. Her body still struggled, but what was just as obvious was the darkness that swirled around Spyro's arm. As they watched closely, they noticed the darkness seemed to grow from Flair's neck where he held it before circling counterclockwise, like it was being pulled out rather then being pushed in. With the darkness leaving her body decently quick, with all the strength she had, her voice was almost completely silent, but she was able to at least make out a name, "Cyril..."

Shaking to hear his name even as quiet as it was, Cyril's head was quick to raise and look to the source of the voice. He noticed what Spyro was doing, but what caught his eye was the change in Flair's attitude. Rather then a show of teeth for anger, she showed them with fear and sadness, accompanied by tears that showed from the sides of her eyes as she closed them tightly shut. Now feeling her voice, body, and mind all coming back to herself now, Flair used all the strength she could in her voice to cry his name once again, "Cyril!"

This cry snapped him back into gear, and while he believed most of this strength was from her voice, he hadn't realized his wounds were healed while he was to the ground thanks to Kettu and Xvar. The two let him go now, and with all the energy in the world now and the strength to stand, Cyril stood up in a snap. Helping ease her body down with his wings as he eased his paw from her neck, Spyro help her rest to the ground. Since Cyril was quick to run over and help, with each wing moved by Spyro or his paw, Cyril was quick to support her with his own strength. Flair's body laid almost completely lifeless to her right side as her tears flooded like a river, and since Cyril had taken over; laying down to her right with wing support, Spyro backed away and allowed him to care for her. To keep her protected, Cyril draped a wing to her back, and with another wing, he wrapped it in front of her to block her view from the others. Dropping his forehead low and to the side of her neck, his tears dropped along with hers as he tried his best to comfort her, "It's okay, Flair... It's okay... you're safe now... you're... you're safe..."

With Spyro sitting back down next to Cynder's left, Kettu and Xvar followed along. Making their way straight to his body, the two materialized in a way, becoming clouds of smoke and entering back into his body. While he knew the others would have plenty of answers after what had happened, he didn't acknowledge the others just yet as he was more focused on other things. Kettu, Xvar, if you two need help neutralizing that darkness, just let me know. I'll leave you two be for now. They didn't respond back to him, and he understood why. Now with everything calmed down, Spyro sighed as he was ready for the questions, "Before anyone asks; yes. I did know there was darkness in Flair."

This confession caused Cyril to snap, and with his head back from Flair, he yell at him, "YOU KNEW, YOU MOTHER FU..."

"You said you trusted me, so do you still trust me now to explain why I acted and did what I did?" Cyril still growled to him, but since there were other more important matters to attend to, he went back to comforting Flair, "I will admit, it was my fault this all even happened in the first place. I was talking with Kettu and Xvar, distracting them and myself from sensing darkness in this building. By the time I sensed it, I knew I should've taken action; however, at that point, the darkness had already infected Flair."

"Ow..." Malefor slightly growled, looking to his stomach for a second before facing back to Spyro, "Well... I can definitely confirm the whole darkness thing. It seems that the Dark Master wasn't too happy to hear and I guess see the failure."

"So he's still alive and kicking?" Carith murmured, worried he was to try something.

"I got it under control, my love. It's okay."

"Still something to look out for," Spyro was a little worried to hear the Dark Master was being active, but for the time being, he went back to explaining himself, "I didn't want my darkness to show as I didn't want this darkness to think I was on to it. It was definitely from the other dark master that was controlling it, and from your reaction Malefor, that only helps me more to know you aren't the Dark Master."

"Holy shit, dude! You still think I am after all this time?!"

"I will until I feel comfortable. But going back once again, the reason behind my behavior and words was to keep this dark master from thinking that I was on to him. That's why I yelled at Ignitus because he knew he was onto it as well. I had to get a hold of Flair to extract the darkness. It was difficult, and since the darkness stayed so close to her heart, if any of you would've caught on, I'm highly positive that he would've destroyed her heart, keeping his darkness around it to prevent me from healing it. And even if I used my time power, I'd have to use it twice; one to rid the darkness blocking her heart, and another to heal her."

"But there's more to it, isn't there," Ersa questioned as she wanted all the answers she could get.

"There's no telling what else this dark master can do. I'm sure if I was to use my time power, he'd encase it and protect it. So even if I used my time power, it'd only kill a layer of the darkness, wasting more time, and at that point, she'd be dead."

"Compared to a brain where, once destroyed, the entire body goes with it, so even if he did destroy the heart, she'd still have time to be saved."

"Sure...?" Spyro didn't really now this, but it was good information from Ersa, "Once I had a hold of her, I hid my darkness and attacked it. It seems as though this dark master wanted me to use my time power. I'm guessing he thought that, if I used it, it would've taken and destroyed the darkness. And since that's gone, it would lead us to believe it was strictly her doing. But lucky enough, he let his guard down. That's when I attacked, extracted the darkness, and helped clear things up," Now there was only one thing left for him to do, and he made sure to look over to Flair as he spoke, "Flair... I know you're probably upset at me or don't care for what I have to say but... everything I said about you was a lie," He noticed her cries eased as she listened to him, "You're apart of this family, and all I wished to do was to protect you. I'm glad Cyril saw the good in you; to protect you from my wrong decision. I love having you around, and Cynder has told me countless times that she's enjoyed the friendship she's made with you," As his words went on, him, and the others noticed Flair's cries almost all but faded, still with some obvious sniffles here and there, "Thank you... It really helps me feel... calm... to know how much of a badass you are... It helps me to know that... Cynder's safe no matter if she's with me... or you..."

His words, his voice, and his smile made Cynder flurry with joy to hear her Spyro return, "There's the Spyro I know and love," Not able to help herself, she had to snuggle up to his side, making him chuckle as he faced over to her, "Hehe... you definitely had me convinced with that little play, that's for sure..."

"But be honest," Malefor said, "Is it the Spyro you know and love because he's being mushy, or because he STILL thinks I'm the Dark Master?"

"Eh... yeah... you're right; it's the fact that you're still the Dark Master."

"Are you sure the Dark Master didn't just get angry cause you're an idiot?" Volteer questioned.

"I love how Volteer comes out of nowhere with a baseball bat just to bash my head and be like, 'Take that, bitch!'" Malefor grumbled from the random attack.

"Volteer doesn't come out of nowhere. It's thanks to me that something like that happens," Ersa giggled.

"EW!" Everyone felt disgusted in unison.

"Alright... if I hear one more suss ass shit like that... there's going to be a causality," Malefor growled with a blush.

"How are you one to talk? You heard Flair was being punished by Cyril, and the very first thing you yelled was, 'SEX?!'" Ignitus called him out for his weirdness.

"Why is that so hard to believe though? You act like if Claire was being a bad girl, you wouldn't hit that from behind for being so bad."

"Unfortunately, I've tried many times and he just doesn't get the hints," Claire sighed, "It once again goes back to, I want the heat less from his body and more from his lips kind of deal."

"Where else do you want my heat? And from what?" Ignitus innocently questioned her as he truly had no idea.

"Hehe... Hehehehe..." Claire knew what she wanted, and thinking about it made her loopy with lust.

"I don't know who to talk to honestly," Malefor backed away as he wasn't the only one seeing the thirst in Claire's eyes that she had for Ignitus, "Claire's a lost cause, Trish could care less if Terrador threw her to the bed, Ersa is a no-sir that's for damn sure, Flair would shove my teeth threw a hole she'd make somewhere in my body, so all that leaves is..." Faced to Spyro, Malefor noticed as his friend took a heavy sigh to him being the center of attention now, "Spyro! My man! You seem like the most innocent guy around here. How you doin'."

"Okay, first off, why did you go down the line of girls and say my name at the end? Secondly, if you're honestly asking how I'm doing, I'm pretty sad since Flair hasn't killed you yet," Spyro was already ready for this conversation to end.

"I haven't done anything."

"Are you breathing?"

"Uh... maybe... no..."

"I think I'm going to have to commence an execute order on you. It's called 'execute order: dumb bitch', and you're the only one on the list."

Now to her, Flair listened to background noise at this point as she couldn't understand how quick everyone was to heal after such an event. This doesn't make... any sense. Since her body forcefully tensed, Cyril noticed this, and to hopefully help, his wing that laid atop of her started to rub her back, moving up and down with gentle and easy motions. Not only had she had the support of his body and wings, but also his voice as he murmured to her, "It's okay, Flair. I got you..." He wished to comfort her to the best of his abilities, but he knew in a way, this all happened because of him, "I should've stayed with you rather than leaving. Maybe I could've done something, or at the very least, I could've protected you from the darkness. It's my fault you went through with that, and if there's anything I can do to make it up, I promise you... I will."

Having the love and support from everyone around from Cyril, the girls, and even Spyro, Flair couldn't stay quiet as she wanted answers, "Enough!" Flair stood up as quickly as she could, but because she was still dizzy, her body almost fell, but thanks to Cyril, he was quick to stand with her and save her by supporting her with the use of his wing and side, "No..." Growling to him, she told him, "Back off!" Cyril couldn't go through with her words, not after what happened, and as intimidation since he wasn't listening to her, her fins sharpened some, poking at his wings but not with enough sharpness to cut through, "Do not make me repeat myself!"

This still did little with the only thing Cyril doing now is sweating, while also for a second, showing a hard swallow. He shuck his head to her, duking it later as he knew she'd be pissed at him, but he couldn't bring himself to do it, "I'm... sorry... Flair... but after what happened, I can't let you go... I'd rather take punishment to myself than to have you suffer..."

A tear formed from his words which only made this more difficult for Flair, and though she tried to sharpen her fins more, his words flattened them as she couldn't bring herself to do it. Damn It! Looking to all the others, while she knew she had gotten the answers she wanted from Cyril, there were still many questions left unanswered for her, "Why are you all protecting me?!" It was a strange question to all of them as it was almost the first thing they'd do for anyone, "I was sent by that dark master, I killed many dragons to show him that I could be trusted, and ever since I've gotten here, you all knew I was an assassin! So then... why... why are you all still continuing to protect me after what you know I am... after knowing what I've done...!"

"Hehe, well, that's pretty simple," Spyro chuckled rather than frown which was rather odd for someone like him, but they all smiled to this, "I asked you if you were family back during the girls day, remember? And you told me yes. So, because of this, you are now under our watch, our care, and our comfort. I still would've saved that hatchling that day, I still would've helped you, and we still would've brought you home, but now that you're family, hehe, you don't have to worry about me constantly acting like you're an enemy to us. Which, like I said, is comforting to me. The girls can hold their own, and that was shown yesterday, but now they have another badass to join."

"And honestly," Malefor wanted to step in and help as well, "I'd much, MUCH rather have you as a friend then an enemy. I don't think I've ever met anyone as scary as you."

"What about your mother?" Terrador wondered, "Now that I'm thinking about it, Flair does remind me of your mom."

"Hehe, oh yeah," Flair picked her head up to hear this, and since Malefor did sound rather emotional about it, she believed he was telling the truth, "You know, Flair... I guess I also like having you around cause you remind me of my mom. She was always a hard ass, mainly because her parents made her into a son they never had, and after joining with a guy who she fell in love with... things... went downhill..."

Flair bit her lip, but for some reason, she needed to know what happened, "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Well... surprise surprise, he cheated on her, and once he saw her in complete shock for the betrayal, he blamed everything on her, talking about how, if she wasn't there, it never would've looked as though he was cheating on her. He blamed her for the fall of their relationship, and he told her, if she wanted that relationship to continue, he'd have to claw out her eye to reduce what she'd be able to see, so she wouldn't look at things she shouldn't be. He went for the attack, but my mom, she... went for his heart, destroying his, literally, where as he destroyed hers... mentally."

"Oh..." Ducking her head some, her attitude was quick to change as it sounded horrible to have experienced, "I'm... sorry your mom went through that."

"Hehe, honestly, the one I feel most sorry for was my dad. After that relationship, my mom only had her parents which already didn't like her show of tears because men don't cry. So for about four months, she was pretty much on her own. She became aggressive to all, and because she couldn't show her emotions, she bottled them up. It also didn't help that her parents blamed the pain on her for even attempting to be in a relationship so... it was just another kick in the mental state for my mom."

"So even though the parents knew they could've done something to help their hatchling, they didn't, because, in a way... It was her mistake and hers alone?" Malefor didn't hear the sadness in Flair's voice, but the others did.

"Yeah... and another unfortunate part is... this was a time before Warfang was even being built, so its not like she had somewhere to go since dragons were almost everywhere. But maybe... that was a good thing..."

"Why do you say that?"

"Hehe, because that's how she met my father. He always loved fighting a good fight, and while sparring with some dragons, one clocked him in the cheek and sent his ass flying. His back hit a tree, snapped it, and it fell down... right in front of my mom, hehehe..." Malefor stopped for a minute as he always loved telling this story, and now with so many others to tell it to, he enjoyed every second of it, "Just as a quick stop real quick... I want to thank all of you... Back in the day, I could only tell this story with the Guardians, and I did to Carith at some point, but now having you all here... Hehe... really glad I didn't die that day."

"It was an unfortunate day for us all," Spyro chuckled, getting the others to laugh the same with smiles.

"Hehe, fair enough. But, going back; for my father, once he met my mother, it was almost an unfortunate day for him as well," Malefor smiled as he continued the story, "Since the tree almost landed on top of her, and with dust and whatnot kicking up from the ground, my mom wasn't too happy about having to go out of her way to take a bath. My father rolled from the tree right to the paws of my mom. He was still dazed, and even as he got up, he smiled, facing forward as he was ready to get back to fighting. But as he took a step, she swung her paw around and grabbed his neck. His ass was definitely grass at this point."

"Yet they still had you?"

"Hehe, yeah... After my mom grabbed his neck, she applied a good amount of force, and now knowing she was there, he saw the anger in her eyes. My dad was quick to apologize to her, but she scuffed to his words, throwing him back and trying to continue about her day. The dragons he was fighting against flew over to make sure he was alright, but he told them to stay and chased after her. Running up to her side, he asked if she was okay and noticed that she seemed disturbed. Her first response was a stop, then a tail blade to his side. She didn't look at him and simply warned him if he was to continue talking to her."

"Tail blade to the side?" Cyril chuckled, "Then she's nothing like Flair. The Flair I know always goes for the neck."

"Which I will do if you don't shut it," Flair warned him, actually interested in the story.

"Hehe..." He chuckled nervously.

"To make sure no one was around, he first checked, and since he was a tough guy, he didn't mind if he were to be stabbed or not," Malefor continued, but once he got to this part, he had to chuckle, "Hehe, so, he spoke, and my mom dug her blade into his side, and she warned him once again that if he were to continue, she would not hesitate to puncher his lungs. He knew he needed to choose his next words carefully, and for some reason that not even he could explain, he blurted out that he loved her."

"Damn!" Cynder was just as surprised as the others, "I wish I had to strength to say that so early on with Spyro."

"Well, as you could imagine, this only pissed her off even more, but luckily, she made eye contact with him. He was quick to apologize, but now he was able to keep a conversation. He said that he noticed something was off and wanted to do something to help. She of course continued and continued to yell at him as she knew what he was. The entire time, he kept a smile and hoped he'd be successful in easing her with his voice. He wished to use his wing to help her, but as he went to drap it to her side, her head snapped over to look at it, with the intent of cutting it off, so he tucked it back."

"How did he raise his wing if she had stabbed his side?"

"Because my father was a shadow dragon, whereas my mother was a wind dragon, which, is why, I possess wind powers on top of the purple dragon powers. Even after he had fazed his wing past her blade and she noticed, one thing she never understood was what he did afterwards. Rather then keeping his wing over her blade now, he moved it right back to the spot of where it was stabbed. And unfortunately, that also meant he had to keep shredding his scales to fit his wing back to where it was."

"What?!" The girls and Spyro cried out.

"My mom's exact reaction. He did this because he thought she was doing this to immobilize him because she was scared of him. He wanted to put himself in a weaker state so she'd feel much more comfortable in case she wanted to attack him. After this, my mother gave him some trust and pulled her blade from his side. Not only was she surprised by this, but she also noticed there weren't any red gems around which means, while he was looking around, he also knew that any pain she'd inflict, he'd have to live with it until he could find some gems later."

"Hehe, your dad sounds like a real charmer," Carith giggled as it warmed her heart to hear this part of the story again, "I didn't realize this up until now, but I can definitely see him was your father. You seem to have gained his perfect charm on a female like me."

"Hehe, I... try my best..." Malefor blushed to hear her say, "I... don't want to keep you all for too long as I enjoyed telling this story but... it took a long, long time for my mom to trust him. But... He enjoyed that. She followed him everywhere, and he liked that. When he'd train, she was there, when he slept, she was there, and he was happy to have her every step of the way. But of course, it wasn't that simple as she had a falling out with her parents, the boyfriend came back for some drama, and other girls appreciated his kind heart and muscles which my mom worried for competition. But at the end of it all, my dad was there for my mom... He never raised his voice to her, he never attacked her, and was very patient with her..."

"Ugh..." Flair growled now to hear this, "Which means history is repeating itself with me being the stand in for your mom, and Cyril being the stand in for your dad."

"Awwwwwww," Claire looked down the row to tease her, "Is Cyril easy with you? Patient? And caring?"

"Yeah!" She growled down to her, "And?! What if he is?!"

"I'm... sorry for your loss... Malefor," Spyro wanted to be the first to apologize about it.

"I... just wish I had the strength to stop myself... to stop the Dark Master... from making the order for The Terror of The Skies to kill your parents... You would've had a much better life living with your parents as I did... and I'm sorry you never got to experience that," Malefor beat himself up rather hard about such a thing, but after the story he had just told, it only made sense he'd be more low in emotion about such a topic.

"The family I have here and now more then makes you for that, and it's thanks to you they are all here now as well."

"Literally," Flair growled, "Since it's because of your dark army that killed someone close to me and I ended up here," Malefor ducked his head from this as he knew someone was still hurt from the past, but thankfully, Flair felt terrible to say that and actually apologized for it, "Malefor... I'm... sorry... that was uncalled for... especially since your weren't the only one who had a terrible life..." This made everyone smile to hear her supporting voice, but she didn't want it to last forever as she needed someone to yell at, "Cyril!" He raised his head and showed his paws as he sat next to her, "Who do you think you're raising your paws to?"

Cyril was quick to send his paws to the floor below; perhaps a little too hard as they all listened to a loud smack as his paws connected with the floor. Spyro chuckled to see this and wondered if he was okay, "Damn, Cyril. You trying to beat your body up until you become a red dragon yourself?" Flair focused to him after he had said this, making a drop of sweat form to his head, "Not that being a red dragon is bad or anything, just thought you like a cool feeling more than a hot one."

"What the hell do you have to fear?" She growled, not understanding why now he decided to act like she had power, "After you've shown plenty of times, you could kill me or anyone else for that matter. So what about me facing you now makes you afraid?"

"Because you'd... kick my ass...?"

"Stop lying!" Flair slapped her paw down, "I want a legitimate reason! No bullshit with Cynder, no act as if you're weak! I want to know the truth why you don't use your powers to your advantage in this world; to better yourself or to put yourself in a position of power and fame."

"Why does it really matter though? I have power, and I use my power. Are you scared of the strength that I have?"

Flair growled as she didn't wish to admit it, but Ersa wanted her to, "Flair..."

"Ersa! Don't!" Flair stopped her.

"Damn. If she is scared of your power, just wait until she realizes you could blow up the sun and come back in seconds," Malefor chuckled from memory.

"Hehe, yeah. I still hate that day for the reason that Cynder could've learned of her parents rather then almost dying that day," Spyro murmured.

"Almost died?!" Flair asked with widened eyes, "Who dared tried to kill her?!"

"OH-oh-oh! Can I tell the story?!" Malefor raised a paw as he wished to tell it, and since Spyro was frowning from the memory, he didn't say anything to him, "Ahem, so, basically, Spyro had a wish after helping Ignitus, but then again, he does that for everyone. He wanted to use the wish for Cynder to know of her parents, but Cynder grew upset since Spyro's done entirely too much for her. So, after some back and forth, he decided to agree with her, and his wish was to see the power he could have. Needless to say, we went into a duplicated reality and watched the sparks fly!" Making some noises as he remembered how bad ass the fight was, Malefor couldn't help himself from the excitement, "You should've see it! Mountains fricken exploded! And it was like, puff puff, BAM! Spyro got his fist and was like, 'Bitch'! And then clocked Ignitus in his damn face and sent his ass flying! WITHOUT WINGS! The punch sent out shock waves that were like, 'Boom, boom, boom'! Ignitus's body connected with this building up here and disintegrated that bitch from just impact!"

"How did Cynder almost die!" Though not admitting it, to hear the power and fight the two had, it sent shivers to Flair's spine.

"Oh! That part was freaking awesome too!"

"Excuse me?!"

"Oh! No no no! Not like that! What I mean is, Spyro combined his dark power with his standard power which kinda made him go crazy for power. Hehe, he even almost killed Ignitus as he was going all out in his Ancestor power. But, the darkness tried to take over, and once it brought up his fingers, it threatened to snap, and the darkness around her heart would've kill her. But then Spyro was like, 'Mother Fu-' and swung his blade through his paw and BLOCKED THE SNAP! I was like, 'Damn dog!'" While Malefor enjoyed talking about it, Spyro didn't enjoy hearing it, "Though from what I've learned, to avoid a snap, you should always go for the head. He'll be like, 'You should've gone for the head'."

"Ah-hah," Volteer chuckled.

Ah-hah! Volteer, my man!"

Flair couldn't help but feel even more fear with this information, looking at Spyro now more as a monster then even her own self. His power could govern a galaxy?! And even for Ignitus... He almost... died...?! Her breathing kicked to the thought, and while she didn't notice, the others saw the fear in her eyes: the fear that showed with each shiver. But even when things seemed like they couldn't be turned around, Trish wanted to give her own view on things, "That actually makes me feel rather safe..." Flair heard this the same as Spyro, "I mean, I'd love to see Terrador fight a good fight protecting me, but... I don't want to see him get hurt, and while the same goes for all of you, if Spyro's powerful enough to send the earth into straight peace without even himself being injured, that's just a win-win as I see it."

"And if you were to set him off, what would stop him from erasing you from existence?" Flair still held strong on her fears.

"Flair, just tell Spyro the truth as I once did," Ersa still pushed for her to be honest.

"I don't fear his power!"

"Your sweat begs to differ, and so does the gem that blew up upon testing your blood."

"Flair, do you fear my power?" Spyro outright asked, hoping for her to be honest.

"And what if I do?!" She growled, "It must feel good knowing that everyone else admits your strength because you know you'll have power over them! But not me. I'm not going to show you my weakness so you'll have nothing to exploit for you own gains!"

"You do realize even I have my own weaknesses too, right?" While it was difficult for him, having brought up the past of what he did, and how he almost killed the one he loved, Spyro wanted to be honest, "Weaknesses such as loss; fears of things like drowning, war, pain, falling to my death because my wings gave out on me, being stabbed in the back by those close to me like Malefor, and just... anything that has to do with the pain and loss of my family."

"If poison can't kill you, and if you're the strongest dragon to ever live, how am I to ever kill you one day if need be?"

"Hehe, well then, I'd have to change my name to Cyril, because the only prey you have around here is him," One side was frustrated that he would bring that up, but another side of her was glad he understood that, "It's true that if I was to lose someone, I may do something I'd regret, which is why I have to get stronger to keep these failures from happening. There is of course one, and I believe the only thing that could ever stop me if I was to go into a rampage as to say."

"Would you like to show me, or are you against it cause you don't know my weakness?"

Spyro smiled to her which she didn't understand, and watching him stand, her body forced herself to a defensive position. But instead of walking over to her, he walked and stood in front of Ersa before getting into a fighting position himself. This forced teeth to show from Flair, but she waited before doing anything worthy of movement. Just as Spyro had given a smile to Ersa, she gave one back, nodding to him even, and this gave him the go ahead to show his little play, "I heard you've been talking some mad ass shit, Ersa. And since I know you fear my power, tears better show as you beg for your life, or else my claws are going to have a date with your blood."

"Hey, just making sure, this is an example... right?" Even though he already knew the truth, Volteer was still protective of his mate.

"Hehe, it's okay, Volteer. I know your heart needed to make sure," Ersa smiled to his help, "Ahem... Blood you say? How would Cynder feel about this threat."

"Ha! And what is Cynder going to do against me? I can blow up Sun's, destroy planets, and you threaten me with a sexy, seductive, and badass female?"

Cynder growled over to him, and just the same as her, Ersa growled to him, "Let's just see about that," Ersa called out her name as she looked to her, "Cynder! Your lover is threatening me!"

Spyro let out a gasp as he looked to his left, and as Cynder approached next to his side, she questioned, "I'm sorry, but what did I just hear?" Looking to him now with anger, but not able to keep back a smile, she made sure he ducked his head, "So I'm in love with an aggressive and abusive male? Something tells me I should find someone else," Faced away from Spyro, she looked to Ersa, "Ersa, since Spyro's acting this way, you said something about this other guy who would..."

"No!" Spyro cried out as he raised his head, but as Cynder faced him, he ducked his head, "I mean... please... I will change, I swear... It's just... I've been out of line for so long now taking over the galaxy at this point that I need... I need you to show me my place..."

"Hehe, that reminds me of a joke where a girl said the same thing to this guy. The girl was like, 'I need you to show me my place', and he said, 'you mean the kitchen'? HA!" Malefor laughed, making jokes at the most random times.

"Thought you said that to your mom," Carith remembered he had said this before.

"Hehe, sure did. My dad was confused because we didn't have a kitchen, whereas my mom chased me around the house trying to beat my ass."

"Ahem!" Cynder coughed loudly, trying to get the two back on track, and now without interruptions, she continued to flirt with Spyro, "Your place is below me, as all gravel should be; however, since you are the love of my life, I'll allow special treatment for your filthy needs," The air in the room grew rather hot and heavy, and though a demonstration at first, Spyro laid to his back willingly, allowing Cynder to walk over and stand above him, "What was it said to me? Oh yes, 'Laying on your back so willingly, almost as if you know I own you'."

"I don't know," Spyro purred as he teased her, "I can barely taste you in my mouth even now, but everywhere I feel with my tongue within your own mouth, it's like I've been everywhere inside of it."

"You know I have another place you could be everywhere inside of too, right?"

"WHOA!" Some cried out while others backed their heads with red blushes.

"Does that count as some suss shit? I think that counts as some suss shit," Malefor tried to chuckle.

"I was talking about my room," Cynder failed miserably at trying to make such a fake lie.

"Shame, because if it was what I thought it was, I would've scooped you up and took you straight to our room just to, 'explore' with you," Spyro growled, and while making everyone incredibly uncomfortable, Cynder showed her teeth back, wishing for her instincts to kick in and have a little battle with him.

"What does this have to do with what I asked early?!" Flair finally put a stop to this, yelling out against the two.

Unfortunately for both of them, they had to give sighs as they knew where they were and what they were doing. Cynder backed away from his body, and with the space he had now, Spyro rolled to his side before using his arms and legs to stand. Even as she made her way back over, thoughts ran wild on what could've happened if Cynder were in her room with him, Me and Spyro have been getting rather spicy as of late, and it really makes me wonder if he does already consider me his mate or not. Sat back down and facing to the middle of the Chambers, she noticed he still had a blush with a handsome smile, sending chills of pleasure down her spine. What I wouldn't give to have you over me. Chuckling as he was able to get back on track now, Spyro explained it for her, "Did you not notice how I was super aggressive to everyone... well... Ersa... and then Cynder walked over and shut that down in a second?"

"So you're telling me that Cynder's the key to keeping you from becoming a full blown monster?" She didn't like the sound of that, "And what if she dies then? Who's going to stop you?"

That was something Spyro never wished to think of, "I... don't... know..." Even though Flair did wish to push it, hearing the defeat and sadness in his voice made her back up in a way as she actually felt terrible for asking, "Anyone could become a monster if they're alone... if I didn't have Cynder... if I didn't have my family... I..."

"Spyro..." Surprising the others, she stopped him from thinking too deeply about this, "Listen... I get it, okay... I'll just remember your teachings, and now it helps me understand that much more how important Cynder is to you..."

Spyro smiled to the help, "Thank you for understanding, Flair."

Thankful words coming from anyone else aside from Cyril felt weird to her, so she didn't take them with a smile, "Yeah yeah, go to hell. I said one nice thing, and the last thing I need is someone kissing my ass."

"Especially since it's my ass to kiss," Cyril felt pride and what he had said.

"I'm sorry... what?" Flair growled at him, and afraid of something happening between the two, Spyro booked it back over to Cynder, "Cyril... do you not remember the ass grabbing incident? I suggest you watch your own ass while you still have one."

"Hehe, how can I when I'm too busy watching your ass move?"

"You want to die, don't you?"

"It's not my fault you were made perfect."

"Why are you kissing up so hard right now?"

"Kissing up? I'm just stating facts. Like, did you know, even though your name, Flair, and perfect, are spelled differently, they both have the exact same meaning?"

"Awwwwwwwww," The girls all teased Flair for Cyril's words to her.

Flair sighed heavily, and unfortunately for her, his words forced her to react. Knowing the others were around, she didn't wish to show her obvious smile and blush, so to hide herself, she dug her head against the top of his shoulder connecting to his neck. Damn... you... She thought, giving in to defeat. Not only had she calmed now, but so did the others as everything had once again calmed back down to a normal level for them. Since no one else had anything else to say, Malefor believed the time of day in the Chambers was coming to a close and wanted to hear it from the rest, "Well... what are we doing today? Seems to me there's been a fair share of conflict I guess you could say, even though most of it was with Flair but... I don't know. What are you all going to go do?"

"Volteer," Ersa giggled.

"Yep. Knew that was going to be said."

"If I'm to do anything, I might go scope out Warfang or something while you all do something else," Spyro suggested as his daily plan, "It'll help take some time off of everyone else, and it would be nice to get an idea of how everyone is doing out and about. Might also talk with the Moles in case they needs some help."

"Surprised you didn't suggest heading to the Training Room or something."

"Hehe, well, my purple flames being used twice yesterday, on top of having to deal with a good portion of the new dark master's power, I'm pretty worn out."

"If only you had the stamina Ersa has," Volteer chuckled.

"You two, are so, fast, with a sex joke. It's honestly incredible."

While some of the others chuckled, Trish ducked her head and moved past the couple, heading over and staying low as she looked up to Flair, "E-excuse me... Flair..." Hearing her name being called, even with her attention now being grabbed, Flair's pissed expression as she looked to her made Trish back away, "Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to upset you, I swear, I just..."

"Trish, breathe. This is just my resting face," Flair eased her fears, "What do you want?"

"Oh, I was just wondering if you had won your battle with Cyril, or... if it was an unfortunate loss."

"What?!" Flair was rather loud with her words which confused most, including Volteer and Ersa as Trish was right there saying all of this, "Alright... alright alright alright..." She made sure to look to everyone aside from Cyril as she said this, "I want everyone here to be honest right here and now. With a raise of a paw, who here honestly believes Cyril could or would ever win in a fight against me?" Everyone stayed quiet, not even giving signs that anyone was to even move their paw, "Okay, now, with a raise of a paw, who here believes I would win a fight against Cyril?"

Everyone raised a paw to the air, and with the sign of next to no support, Cyril grumbled, "Oh, come on, guys! I could totally..."

"You could totally what?!" Flair snapped her head over to look him dead in the eyes with a massive show of teeth.

"Get my ass kicked," He swallowed hard with a squeaky voice, not even daring such a move.

"So then... just for clarification... did you... win last night's battle?" Trish wanted a yes or no answer just so Terrador would know, but as to not be rude in her assuming that's what she wanted, she cleared that up, "I'm sorry if I'm being pushy, I'm just... excited is all. I want Terrador to know if it was a yes or a no."

Stopping rather than responding, Flair knew what she wanted to say, but thinking back to that night, she knew the real truth, In all honesty... I... probably lost last night... It was Cyril who comforted me, it was him who took control when my emotions acted up, and it was him who helped ease my fears when Flint showed up last night. The others noticed her thoughts as her body simply stood still, looking off almost into space as Flair looked near Trish, but not directly at her. But... even with how... bitchy, I can be... I'm not going to rob someone else of their happens. To show her normal self, Flair showed some teeth while keeping an almost growling voice, "You all already answered your own question. You really think after the shit he pulled yesterday, he'd get off easy?" They all noticed her act and couldn't help but smile to it; Cyril included, "If you want your clear cut answer, then it would be a yes. He's much more squishy then I could've thought."

"You talking about his scales or, other parts?" Malefor joked with her.

"I was talking about his neck as I squeezed it, but unlike with him, if you don't shut it, I'll pop my claws through it! Same with your eyes!"

"Yes!" Trish happily cried out, and at first, everyone believed this was towards Malefor's soon death, but a quick run over to Terrador and her words after revealed the truth, "So does that mean... does that mean tonight is nibble night?!"

He enjoyed seeing her so excited, and the smile she showed to him helped Terrador in his nod and words, "Hehe, well, she was the last one, and since everyone else won their battles then... yes... tonight is... nibble night."

"YES!" She nearly jumped in the air for joy.

"Hehe, I know how amazing it is to finally have your dragon above you, Trish, but you seem, overly, excited," Claire giggled, though how she phrased it made her sound like that was a bad thing, so she cleared that up, "But don't get me wrong! I'm super happy for you, and I hope Terrador treats you right even though I know he will, I'm just wondering."

A bright red blush showed what Trish wanted way before she even had the chance to speak, "Because, what do neck nibbles lead to? They lead to licks, then kisses, then mouth to mouth, then seduction, heavy breathing, tail wrapping, and then FINALLY...! Mating..." Trish felt almost like deflating just thinking about how well the night could go, and for Terrador, feeling her paw rest to his chest as she closed in on him made him feel rather seduced, "It's okay, Terrador... If something happens tonight, and you feel the need to assert your, dominance, over me... I'll be a good girl... promise."

The red blush that completely took over Terrador's face now made Malefor laugh, "Haha! Damn dude! You always said you looked up to Ignitus, not that you wanted to be him. Your scales right now are just-if not more red then his."

To her, while it did seem like Terrador didn't know how to respond since others were around, Trish believed this was because of how uncomfortable she was making this whole situation. Her paw slid down his chest, and she was quick to apologize, "I'm sorry... that was... uncalled for... I put you in a situation you couldn't respond to. I know your heart... and I know you didn't want to say anything against my hopes because you don't want to hurt me..." Terrador was surprised that she had a good idea as to why he couldn't say anything, but he felt awful that she was downing herself because of it, "Terrador, I'm..."

"Trish..." His voice helped raise her head, and looking to his right side, she noticed he raised his wing, "Hehe... I didn't say anything against that now did I?"

Trish's face lit up with a smile, and now every part of her danced to her feeling of victory. Just to make things more romantic between the two, she made sure to nuzzle her body against his side as she moved under his wing, making sure he knew what he had said and done was more than enough to help her. Snuggled up happily, her head nuzzled up his neck, causing him to purr before feeling her head slide down and rest to his shoulder. It was amazing to Flair, watching closely to everyone as they acted; watching how they spoke, how they moved, and how they sounded. She took in all this information and concluded with herself: with her own thoughts, I don't believe this is a perfect life... I don't... want to believe it. Everyone I look at I understand their motives, their anger, their emotions. Volteer defended Ersa against me because it's his job... and I know he would've attacked me if I harmed her, but would she have cared? Would she still have tried to protect me even when it seemed I was so far gone? Because of these thoughts, it led her vision to Cyril, and to his surprise, she seemed rather chill for the moment, "You know... it's crazy when I look around and try to point fingers at others for being a monster when the only one who could really point a finger is everyone else... directed to me..."

"Flair, that's not true," Cyril was ready with all his words to help her.

"The unfortunate part for me is... you're right... I'll try my hardest, I'll... attack you, bite at you or threaten you but... nothing changes what you know as facts. So maybe I should just accept that you're right and move on," Since the others weren't listening in on what the two were talking about, Flair was easily able to look at Spyro as he smiled with Cynder, and after he said something to her, there was a noticeable blush after a giggle, "It's crazy how I called him heartless, how I called him a monster yet... he did all that he did... to protect me..."

"Flair... where's this coming from? You seem rather down."

"Cyril... Last night, I almost lost you... I was threatened by the dark master and almost lost you again. I woke up today to find I almost killed you, and even after that, I was almost forced to do that again..." She didn't have to finish up what she was saying as his mind was quick to put two and two together on how she felt, "The amount of times I've almost lost you because of me is... unreal... and in such a short amount of time too... Yet... what you did for me... those... minutes that felt like hours were... special..."

"What did I do for you? Because from the sounds of it, what ever I did I need to continue. That is... unless you're talking about when you flew away after that girls day and had time all to yourself."

"No... times like those I try to forget... or at least change in hopes of having you there," Cyril's scales shot up hearing this, and it was crazy for him to hear such a gentle side to her, but everything about him enjoyed it, and he had hopes these times would last forever, "I'm talking about... when you were bitting my neck... It's rather sad to hear that you tried so hard for her; tried to be the best mate anyone could ask for, yet... she betrayed you... and I know what it's like to be betrayed by someone you love..."

"I haven't betrayed you, so why would you say that?" Cyril smiled, and Flair saw what he was trying to do.

"And I hope it stays that way. Then again, a quick blade to the neck should keep you in check," Her gentle threats and voice once again made him shiver, on top of the fact that her hidden yet still shown smile made him feel the joy he's always wanted with a female before, "Every time I think about the bad times, I think of you after... and how amazing your help was and always will be... which... makes me wonder... what... what would life truly be like if I lived it again... if I... lived a life of love again..."

Now with these simple words, Cyril nearly jumped for joy to hear that all he had done truly meant something to her and had done something to benefit others. While he did contain his jump, Flair noticed the shift in movement as it was almost like the inside of his body reacted without actual signs of him moving. Flair saw this happiness within her, and since there wasn't a care in the world for her, she drowned out the fact that others were around and simply did as she pleased, rather then feeling haunted by reinforced fears, "So then... tell me, Cyril... if I had to choose someone to love and start over with again, who would it be?" Every thump felt from his heart was heard to his head as now Cyril's body rushed with excitement, enough so that his tail proceeded to wag, and at this point, he couldn't tell if he was living in a dream or not now, "You can choose yourself if you want. That's why I'm asking, is it not?"

Everything aligned for him, and without even thinking, his tail wrapped to hers, almost in a protective manner. All eyes were towards the two now as they noticed the fireworks in the air between the two, which, just as surprising as it was to Cyril, seeing her smile as though she was trying to live again and take that chance was a sight to see. After all that she had been through, and with the vast knowledge he had on her past; memories, and emotions, he smacked his lips as he answered her; however, it wasn't him who said her name, "Flair?"

It was strange at first for Flair to hear her name being called by anyone else aside from Cyril as, from her last look to everyone, no one faced the two: and the others seemed preoccupied talking amongst the others. No one here would be stupid enough to really say my name while I'm mid-moment with Cyril. But why... why does the voice sound... familiar? Unlike with the voices I know from this family? She was the last to look at who ever had spoken, and since everyone was faced to the Chamber entrance, that's where she looked as well. A small focus to his green primary colors, along with his darkened green secondary colors to his stomach, wings, and fin flaps: the last thing she looked to was his face. The dragon was tall, just as tall as a normal adult sized dragon would be. But now seeing his face, her body forced itself backwards with a shiver powerful enough to get a reaction from Cyril. Looking to her with confusion, Cyril turned back straight and looked to this dragon with teeth. Since the others hadn't seen Flair's fear, they simply acted as normal and Spyro was the one to question him, "You know Flair?"

Gasping as he remembered last night's dilemma, Cyril stepped forward with force and demeaned answers, "Don't take one more step unless you tell us your name!"

"Whoa whoa whoa, it's okay. I'm a friend, promise," The green dragon assured the others, "To answer your question first, Spyro, I actually use to be the lover of Flair if you could believe it," Gaps were heard all across the Chambers, but for Cyril, he couldn't gasp as he knew what this dragon was here for, "And to answer the question of the Guardian, my name is Argus."

Argus?! Cyril growled in his thoughts, Flint threatened Flair if she didn't bring him my head! And since Flint failed to kill me, that must mean... he... sent... Argus. Gasping now at this realization, Cyril took command, jumping in front of Flair and blocking her with both wings which already sent Spyro into a warning type mode, whereas it confused the others. To hopefully put a stop to another unfortunate event, a quick rally was needed to defend her in time, "Spyro! Malefor! Quick! You need to use your dark forms!"

"What?!" Malefor cried in wonder.

"I know why you're here, Argus. What's wrong? The dark master wasn't able to finish the job so you're here now to fulfil that failure?"

"What?" Argus was at a complete loss for what was being said, and listening to the two, Spyro took note of this and remembered himself what was said last night, "I can promise you that I don't know of a dark master. Well, aside from the one that started a war that lasted what felt like forever, but other then that..."

"THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE!" Cyril wanted him to get to the point.

"Oh... right," Sitting down to the Chamber's Entrance, Argus proceeded to rub his arm with a frown, almost as if he was to admit something he didn't want to, "Flair... I... need to be the first to apologize to you for what's happened back then..." Still able to see from the left of Cyril's wing, Flair stayed where she stood, not wishing to make any movements towards him, "I just recently found out that... your father... was a liar..." Flair's breathing nearly stopped to hear that he was seeing what she had seen for so long, and to hear him finally admit it after so long forced a step forward from her, "After you had left, I felt... empty... so... I knew after what I had done... after what I had said... I'd never be able to face you again. So... I did some digging. I found that your father was secretly holding the truth from all of us. My father and Fabian got into a fight, and your father almost died. My father and I promised we would provide protection over you if you were to come back, and if there's anyway we could make it up for what's happened... we are and will trust, and always listen to you from here on out."

Flair's heart raced, as did her thoughts as a decision seemed within reach as to what she wanted to do, and even with all the negative thoughts and memories in her mind, she tried desperately to push those aside. Cyril saw right through what he was doing and didn't buy into what was being said, "Ah. It's funny you say that because just yesterday night, the dark master spoke with Flair, talking about how Fabian would rip her body in two if I wasn't killed last night, and since he isn't here, I'm assuming he sent you here?"

"What? No, no no no, of course not," Argus seemed extremely sincere about what he was saying which made it difficult to tell if he was speaking the truth or not, "If I had know Fabian said something like that to her, I assure you, I... I would've fished Fabian off with my own claws if I needed to," Looking directly into Flair's eyes, he hoped his voice would be heard to her, "Flair... my love... please... I'm so, so deeply sorry... for everything... If it makes you feel any better as well, I can easily say that we were able to get a confession for everything Fabian had done, including the scar on his eye being from his own claws, not yours."

Everything was now coming together as hearing Argus speak so easily and clearly on the matter as though this really had happened, Flair's body acted against its own, forcing her movements forward even though a part of her still wished to stay back. Feeling a push to his left wing, Cyril looked to see her tears while she looked to the floor, and unfortunately for him, he needed to make the decision to go against her, "Flair... don't... I know you want your life back, and I know you want everything to go back to the way it was, but remember what happened last night; how convenient that this is all just suddenly happening today."

"Cyril... put... your wing... down," It seemed as though his words weren't reaching her the same as Argus's were.

"Oh..." Frowning once again, Argus backed some as he saw what was going on, "Flair... if you've moved on... I... can understand... If you need me to leave... I..."

"NO!" Flair cried running forward now and pushing past Cyril's wing as she cried the truth, "That's not it at all!" Stood at the front of Argus now, no hesitation was in her voice as she said this, "Me and Cyril aren't together, we're simply just friends, that's all!" It didn't take a blade to feel the pain of being stabbed in the heart for what she had said, and with her out from his protection now, Cyril dropped both wings, and tail, "Argus, please, you know and have seen that I've always loved you...To hear that you're truly seeing what I've seen all these years, then that means... my... my mother...?"

Argus nodded to her, "We learned the truth about that too... and since I've had so much time to think without you, I realized my mistake... and if anything... your mother's death was on me. Nothing about that day was your fault, my love," Tears of joy now fell from Flair's face, and to her comfort, Argus used his back claw to wipe a tear from her face, "We know of all the lies now that Fabian fed to everyone, and just as a show of good faith, me and my father spent days searching for all your friends, and they have all agreed to show their support for you. Which is why I'm showing today and not weeks ago. I needed... to prepare myself for everything to turn your life around. I also needed time... for a speech..."

"A speech?" Flair giggled with a smile, "What for? You showing is all I could've asked for."

"Damn," Malefor whispered to Carith, "Not only did Cyril get friend zoned, but Flair smiled and giggled to Argus faster then she ever did with Cyril," While Malefor was slightly enjoying how bad this situation seemed, Carith wasn't paying much attention to him, but rather showing her teeth to Argus, "She always said she'd kill herself with Cyril, but only ever wanted Argus, which means my boy really was being a simp."

"Flair! You can't really trust that he's telling you the truth!" Cyril continued to try and show her he was right, "If you go back with him, there's nothing we'd be able to do, or to stop him from killing you. After what you've said..."

"CYRIL!" Not wishing for what she had said to get out, Flair's body fully turned towards him as she made sure to shut him up, "Stop trying with this pointless use of what I've said or done while I was here! I've said countless times, day after day; I'm not here to be apart of this family, and me agreeing was simply a way to keep myself protected from the outside world. And while I may not agree with all that I was forced to say against you, us being done; us never being a thing, is beyond true, and to finally have the chance to get away from you is a blessing in disguise."

Spyro showed teeth towards this now even after what's known, and even for Cyril, he backed away with not only sadness, but complete destruction to his heart for what she had said. While it seemed so easy for her to say, every word pained her as she knew what she had said shouldn't have been, and seeing the fear she put into him, knowing what her leaving meant to him, Flair was able to at least apologize for it, "I'm sorry... Cyril... but I never loved you... and I never will," While her face was downed with a frown, everyone notice a smile that showed, but only as she faced away from everyone; only once she faced Argus, "So, what was this speech that you had? Or, hehe, did you forget it on your way up here?"

"Oh, right..." Argus took a deep breath as to prepare himself for what he was to say as he knew it would be a major step up in his life, "Flair... after what I've done... what I said to you, I wish to forget our past and start a new... I know I needed a speech, but every attempt I had, every word was replaced by your name, and I couldn't bring a paper or thoughts of me just saying your name a hundred times," Flair giggled to how sweet he was being to her, and his words captivated her interest and needs, "I wish... to start over... however, not as lovers, but instead..."

Swallowing, shivering even, Flair's heart raced as she believed what was next, and out of pure hope, she asked him, "Instead... what...?"

She noticed his warm breath as he breathed outwards before revealing what he wished, "Would you... start over with me... as my mate."

Flair gasped to his words with a smile, but the others let show gaps of surprise, just not in a pleasant way. For Cyril, his whole world felt like it had been turned upside down, and now the only saving grace he had was for her to say no. However, hearing her tears, seeing her shivers, and seeing the hope with inside of her, he knew that was just a dream. Just to put the nail in his coffin, Flair jumped for joy, throwing both wings and arms around Argus as she hugged him, crying over his back as she agreed to it, "Yes!" Letting tears continue to flow, Flair wished to enjoy this moment for the rest of her life, "Argus... I... I love you... I love you so much..."

Those in the Chambers all looked to Cyril, noticing his completely destroyed figure. His head hang low as did his face. His wings and tail hadn't moved as they still stayed close to the floor, being dragged if he were to move. The others all frowned to see he was torn for what was happening, and they understood; with the position he was in, there wasn't anything he could do aside from being happy for her. I protected her... and that's all I ever wanted to do... so... I should... be happy... shouldn't I? Cyril thought; however, this didn't help fill the void now placed back within him for having someone else once again leave his life. She never loved me... and maybe... that was a good thing... Now she can finally be happy with someone... she actually... cares for... The more he bashed himself, the more down he felt, and the more he thought of what life would be like without her moving forward. As he turned, it was a thought he burned into his brain. What's the point of even waking up tomorrow then...? Just as his back faced everyone, sounds echoed throughout his mind, but not pleasant ones. First was a sound of ripping, followed by surprised gaps. The sound that was most focused towards was the ripping, and after the gaps, he noticed a cough, one of which he knew very well. Picking up his head, his entire body went full defensive as something felt entirely off. With his entire body picked up, energy surged back within him as he quickly turned his entire body around to see what had happened. At first, he noticed everyone had gotten into an attacking position while those truly afraid of what had happened such as Trish backed and hid from the comfort of Terrador's wings. Spyro and even Malefor appeared in their dark forms now, and following their eyes, he was able to pinpoint their vision to the entrance of the Chambers. Now with eyes on the conflict, his eyes shot wide, forcing a gasp even for himself. A blade dripped blood onto the back of Flair, and once noticing all that had happened, they noticed the blade was from Argus. His blade had stabbed through her stomach with enough force to send it outwards and show very clearly to all. To make a situation worse, Cyril heard as Flair gave a small, heartbreaking murmur, "Argus... I... why... do I... hurt...?"

Yanking his blade from her back now, he shoved her body to the floor, and watching as he gave her no support, Flair's body crashed to the ground hard enough to sent her up before hitting the ground again. Cyril's blood boiled now to see her laying lifeless on her left side; blood dripping down onto her from Argus's blade as he let it purposefully drip to her scales. They couldn't make out her expression of very real fear that she had on her face, but everyone was mainly focused to Cyril as he ran to the middle of the Chambers, yelling out, "YOU MOTHER FU...!"

"Wait!" Argus held up a paw, forcing Cyril to come to a halt as he listened to what he had to say, "Are you really going to try and defend this monster after what she said to you, after what she's done to you?"

"She's never done anything to hurt me!" He stood his ground, lying in defence of her.

"You're not fooling anyone, Cyril. I know how much of a monster she is more then you could even imagine," For the time being, he let him talk as to use it against him later, "She's probably the most aggressive, manipulative, and uncaring female that's ever walked this earth. She didn't care when her mother died, she didn't care when her father tried to help her, and she even tried to lure others into her house just so she could kill them. We knew of this after we found a dead body in her house one day, so we tried our best to separate her from any kind of contact whatsoever."

"LIAR!" Cyril already heard enough, "She was torn for her mother's death! Her father turned against her and clawed his own eye out to pin her as a monster! And for that bull shit about her killing someone, you isolated her and forced her mind to crash in on itself! She wanted to be happy, but you kept that from happening! How can you call her a monster if you're acting exactly like one right now by trying to kill her!"

"It's not called being a monster it's called doing the right thing. I'm simply doing what needs to be done since no one else would. Her father deeply loved her, and that scar we lined up perfectly with his own claws and those marks weren't from him, so she lied there too. She wasn't torn after her mother died. In fact, she moved on from her death faster then any one of us."

"Did she? Or did you force her to because you didn't want to hear her cry about it, and you didn't want to take time out of your day to help her?!" Seeing her body shiver from him saying this, Cyril was now ready to kill Argus himself for this thought now in his mind, "You backed away from her when she needed you the most?!"

"Stop trying to act like you know something that you know nothing about," Argus tried to hide at least that part, "You're only acting like you know things based off of what Flair told you and not from the truth. We all loved her, but she turned against us, and if you'd stop thinking with your hormones and actually use your brain, you'd see past her fake smile and notice the monster within."

"Wait..." Coming to a realization himself after what was said, Cyril put two and two together, "You were afraid of her, weren't you..." Argus was confused by what he meant at first, "When you abandoned her after her mother's death, and you isolated her, you knew what she would do if she saw you, so rather then talk to her, rather then RISKING YOUR LIFE, to save the someone you love, you pussed out and basically forced herself to kill herself from within for almost an entire year?!"

"You act like you would've gone through pain to save someone you barely know."

"I DID!" Flair's tears were now directed completely to Cyril as he spoke as everything he was saying was comforting her to a point she couldn't understand, "After what you did, I spent nights after nights with no fear of what she might do, and even after those nights and even days, I never feared to see her again! Because unlike you, I actually had a heart, and unlike you, I actually had the guts to face death head on without running with my tail between my legs!"

"So you're agreeing that she harmed you at some point? So then you should know the monster that she's always been?"

"The only monster I see around here is you. You tried to turn Flair into one to make you, and your stupid piece of shit family into the good guys! But in reality, even being men; you, Fabian, and your father, its seems to me I should start calling you all females, because I've never seen such pussies before in my life!" Everyone gave wide eyes to his words, but for Argus, he about had enough with his talk, "Now, make like a good bitch and get the hell out of my home before I force your body out, piece, by piece."

Argus smiled to see and hear what he was saying which confused everyone, but focused away from his smile, they watched as he rolled Flair's body over so she could face everyone. Cyril gasped to see her tears, and the fear in her face as she wished to keep her eyes sealed shut. Using his fist, Argus sent it straight into her back, causing her to cough some blood to the floor from the force, "Open your eyes and look your little savior in the face," Flair did so, and though she was slow to look him in the eyes at first, once having connected, it only made things worse for the both of them, "I can't believe someone would actually put up with your shit, but since he seems so attached to you, I wonder how he'd feel about your death."

"Death...?" Cyril questioned, and watching as Argus raised his blade to his side, he gasped, "ARGUS! DON'T!"

Closing her eyes as though she was accepting what was to happen, Flair was only able to see a little of him before giving a goodbye, "I'm... sorry... Cyril..."

His heart slammed now to hear her voice directed back to him, and unfortunately, from this, he didn't act fast enough and watched as Argus dug his blade through her side, cutting up her insides from her ribcage to lungs. Watching in almost slow motion as her body arched from the pain, the blood that spilled upwards, and her mouth opening to cry but nothing being heard, Cyril completely blacked out. Kicking forward, raising up a paw, and showing a blue shard of ice to his palm, he grasped it hard. Just as Argus had turned, he noticed Cyril's standing figure over towards him. But by the time he could've reacted, Cyril put all the force he had to swing the shard of ice to his head. With a quick stab, the ice forced itself into his skull before popping out the other end. The blue shard of ice almost exploded from within Argus's body as blue ice shards shot out from almost all sides of his body. Not letting up, the force he still had helped push himself as hard and as forward as possible. This added strength helped Cyril send Argus's body backwards from the ice shard still dug within his brain. Argus's body slammed hard enough to the wall behind which ended up collapsing rubble from the wall, and causing his body to end up inside of a room: disappearing from the sight of the others. Getting his footing as he landed back to all fours, his body stood over Flair's now as though he was protecting her once again. He heard a muffled cry but paid no attention to it. His vision was completely focused to the hole in the wall, but seeing a dark body, he noticed a dragon had jumped into the hole. Coming down from his blackout, color and sound came back to him, but as did some drowsiness. Backing away from Flair's body some before sitting down to her front, he nearly fell backwards but noticed a wing to his right and his left. Looking to see who it was, Malefor held his left, whereas Volteer held his right, "Volteer... Malefor...?" Still in a daze, he had no idea what had happened, "What... where am I...?"

Looking to the hole, he noticed Spyro was the one who had jumped in but was now climbing out. He seemed pissed, and once Volteer asked, he understood why, "Is Argus...?"

Ducking his head, Spyro sighed as he had to give the news, "He's dead..." Flair's body nearly locked to hear the news, but Cyril wasn't able to say anything to her as Spyro focused to him, "Unfortunately, by the time I was able to get through the ice, he was already gone. I tried with all I could to use my purple flames to quickly melt the ice away so I could heal his body. But even after burning some of his body as I tried to be quick... the shard of ice did too much to his brain. I... wouldn't be surprised if he died on impact."

"Good riddance," Cyril growled, feeling no sympathy for his death

"Good... riddance?!" Spyro growled, "He was still a living, breathing being! We already had to deal with Ivan before, and we could've done the same thing with Argus!"

"Why are you arguing with me rather than actually doing something useful like healing Flair?!"

"I already did!" Spyro snapped at him, and just to make sure, Cyril looked to her body to see it had been cleaned and healed, but now, he focused to the puddle of her own tears that she continued to shed and lay in with her head, "Don't you dare try and act like your actions were just. You killed him out of jealousy, and knowing he could've come back and have changed for the better, you knew he would've taken Flair from you! You were selfish!"

"Go to hell!" He didn't notice it, but the anger he showed scared Flair, "I acted how I wanted! Malefor almost killed Cynder and you tried to kill him, but me and the other two stopped you! His death was on you for not being as fast as we were!"

"You're pinning his death on me, and not the child who couldn't handle a heartbreak? A simple no?!"

"He was a monster! He manipulated her, abandoned her, and BETRAYED her! I've killed dragons before, so if you think his death is going to make me feel any sympathy, stop trying!"

"So you're really just a monster who feels no emotion when they kill?" Spyro growled.

"I feel no emotion to punk little shit bitches who get what's coming to them and he was one. Don't you DARE come at me with that bullshit! Ignitus showed you and told you Malefor was a good guy, but you looked past it constantly; hell-bent on his death even when he was innocent! So stop trying to act like you wouldn't have reacted the same if Malefor DUG HIS CLAWS IN CYNDER AND TRIED TO KILL HER!"

"You're right, I would've acted differently. But because I actually train and don't sit on my lazy ass all goddamn day, I could've saved both parties. But because your weak ass was too slow, her pain is on you."

"WHAT?!" Cyril showed his teeth.

"What? Hate facts? You said you would protect her, and I must say, what a shitty job. Tell me, who else will you make a promise to and fail?"

"YOU'RE ONE TO TALK!" The two stopped arguing for a minute as they noticed Flair standing to her paws, head faced down and hoping not to look at anyone; however, Cyril turned his attitude around with a much easier voice to comfort her, "Flair... Are you..."

"SHUT UP!" Flair yelled at him, not hesitating to sharpen her fins to their max, "I can't believe... I actually had feelings for you... To think I was starting to trust you, that I was starting to really... like you... But you really are everything I knew you'd be. You're just like Argus," Cyril didn't need someone to hit him as these words were enough to put him back in his place and really think about what he's done, "You're only in it for yourself, and you turn your back on your friends just to benefit yourself. You didn't even thank Spyro for healing me, you didn't thank him for protecting me from the darkness, and I... I can't believe anyone would love someone like you..." Now with tears of his own, Flair pointed out his flaws and he understood them all, though he wished to have see them sooner, "Unlike you, I will thank Spyro for what he's done for me now, and before...," Turned around, Flair walked behind Spyro; for protection, and to make sure the others could read her lips, "Thank you, Spyro, for exposing Cyril for the horrible dragon he truly was. I was so focused on you being the monster around here that... I didn't realize, I was sleeping right next to the real one all along," One after another, Cyril was completely kicked to the ground emotionally, "If you truly are better then what I'm saying, Cyril, then you stay the hell away from me, and don't you dare even say my name, let alone speak to me. Since we're both just monsters meant to kill, then I'll see you in hell, which... having you down there truly makes it hell, doesn't it?"

No one was able to say anything after what she had said, and with nothing but silence, Flair let shed one last tear before walking away from everyone and heading to her room. Malefor and even Volteer backed away from Cyril now as all his body weight was focused heavily to the ground as he sat at the entrance of the Chambers; head down and thinking in-depth about what he had done, what he had said, but most importantly, what Flair had said. While the other two went to sit back down, Spyro stood there for a second before letting a sigh off, "Cyril... I get we're different, and if anything, history is just simply repeating itself. Argus is the Dark Master, Flair is Cynder, and you're me. Argus attacked Flair, and you snapped..."

"I can't lose anyone else, Spyro..." Cyril murmured, tensing as he struggled with his past, "You don't understand how many lives I've failed to save over my life time. Not just my parents, or my brother, but others in the world during the war... I hate training because it feels like no matter what I do, I'm destined to fail. You call yourself a failure but you can actually show your strength. You saved the planet twice, defeated the Dark Master, and saved all of us from death, including Cynder."

"And you act like I did that alone," Spyro smiled which grabbed his attention, "I had Ignitus and Sparks to save you all, mainly as emotional support. I had Cynder help fight the Dark Master with me, I had her for the second fight, as well as you all, and that includes the second time when the Destroyer showed. I try to push myself every day, but even I know, I can't do everything alone," His words gave him more to think about, and before Spyro made his way back over to Cynder, he gave him some more words to think on, "I get Argus was a monster, but after what you did... who really was? At the very least, and I've learned this with Malefor... understand what past they might've had. Monsters aren't born, they're created."

"Well, I mean," Malefor knew he had to say something, "Technically speaking, when you have a child, you are, creating, a possible monster."

"I really wish you would've taken that ice attack to the brain rather then Argus," Spyro grumbled on his way back over to Cynder as Malefor missed his point.

"Love you too, bro."

"You already took away my parents, could you not take Spyro away from me too," Cynder raised a brow.

"Okay, let's just end this conversation before everyone here gets the wrong idea that I'm someone like Volteer."

"Agreed," Spyro cleared his throat and wanted to clean up a few things, "Ignitus... can you help clean up the place? I have blood on the wall next to me from Cyril, ice shards in the middle of the room, and a dead dragon in the other room with a hole in the wall... from... Cyril..."

"Oh, yeah. Should probably deal with that," Ignitus had gotten side tracked, but now that he was reminded, a quick snap from his fingers helped fix everything right up.
