Chapter 12

"Me," Ron stated calmly, looking straight into Betty's one eye. "I'll work for you."

"Aren't you doing that now?," she deadpanned.

"Just as a freelancer and I can stop at any time," he pointed out.

"True, but once again, I ask. What do you have to offer? You are asking us to let go a dangerous criminal, so you better have something worth trading." Betty raised her eyebrow.

"Like I said, I'm willing to work for you officially and you will have all my skills at your disposal," Ron proposed, "I think it's fair trade. Shego's not that dangerous."

"Hey!" She protested.

"All your skills you say?" Betty let a small sly smirk come on her face.

'Oh that bitch didn't just do what I think she did!' Shego felt her hands getting warm, "Cut the crap Stoppable! I don't need a baby sitter. I can handle myself." Shego glared at the older woman.

"No need to be so defensive about your boyfriend." Betty said with half-chuckle, making Ron blush and Shego growl.

"You can't be possibly considering this!" Du protested, "We need to arrest her! That amateur is not worth it!"

"Ron are you out of your mind! Stop protecting her!" Kim yelled, "The prison is where she belongs! They got a criminal record a mile long on Shego. Think about your future!"

"You know Kim is right Ron, "Betty said, "Speaking theoretically what would you do if I decided to decline and arrest her?"

"I would fight," Ron casually retorted.

"WHAT!? Ron you can't fight GJ. It would make you a criminal!" Kim screeched.

"And what would I be if I let my girlfriend be thrown into a Rat's Hole," he asked rhetorically.

"Please there are twenty highly trained agents here. You wouldn't stand a chance amateur." Du spat.

Ron sighed. He had a point, now the blonde needed some edge on them.

He felt grin crept on his face all the while extending his hand towards Du.

"Lotus Blade," he whispered. Suddenly all the light around his palm seemed to disappear, like being sucked inside an empty black hole, and in a blink of an eye, he was holding a blue humming sword.

Everyone were looking at him slack jawed. He just produced a sword out of thin air.

"You were saying?" His eyes started to glow icy blue, "I think that our chances are about equal now."

Everybody tensed awaiting next move. The agents pointed their guns at Ron. Shego lit her hands in warning, Du tensed, Kim looked torn between her duty and friend and Betty… she started laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Betty wiped the lone tear sliding down her cheek, "I like your style Stoppable. You're not afraid to gamble – very well, you got a deal. We'll let her off the hook this time," she announced, "At ease men."

"…" Du tensed.

"I said at ease," she repeated more sternly.

"Hmph that was stressful." Ron smirked and de-materialized the blade again attracting curious looks, "So how about we go home now? I'm starving!"

"I can't really believe that how you can go from threatening people with a magic sword, to being a buffoon in the span of five seconds?" Shego voiced the thoughts of the gathered.

"Just a part of my Ron-shine," he pumped his chest, "You'll learn to love it!"

"Oh I'm sure," she purred, "So when do leave? It's getting cold here." Shego stated. Indeed with Drakken's device destroyed the normal weather was coming back and it slowly started to snow.

"Who said that you will get a lift?" Kim asked incredulously, "Find your way back on your own."

"Come on Kim, don't be such a sourpuss. She did save my life after all." Ron stated moving towards the plane. Shego smirked and blew her a raspberry at her, "Shego behave," he said shortly making her glare at his back. With a low grumble she followed him.

"Let's go inside. It's getting chilly here," Betty said and walked to the plane. The rest of her men packed their equipment and soon there was nothing here except snow and ruins.

On the plane things were awkward to say the least. Ron was sitting between Betty and Shego, chattering with the former about his new job. Kim was sitting opposite to Shego and glaring at her. Shego was doing the same.

Du and the rest of his squad were looking at the green villainess with caution in case she would do something funny.

"So Ron, from what I've heard, you're planning to enrolling at Middleton College?" Betty asked.

"I don't even want to ask how you know that, but yes. I'm starting to think that inventing things may be my thing," he told her.

"I have to agree, the artificial legs you invented were brilliant to say the least." She praised him, "But you are aware what you're about to recreate if you went further," she asked carefully.

"Centurion project…" Ron smirked, "Yes we guessed that much, but this design will be purely civilian."

"So you're thinking about mass production then?" She asked curiously.

"Yes, I guess soon we will decide how serious that will be." Ron rubbed his chin, "I guess we'll create a company specializing in tech?"

"Interesting, but opening such a business will require some serious funding." Betty said off handily. Now if she could only put her hands on two tech geniuses…

"Then I'm indeed lucky to have more than enough to cover the costs," his smile widened. He was very aware what she was planning to do, 'Sorry Bets, but you have to try better than that.'

"Good for you then," She kept her poker face, "Ok now for the terms of your employment. You will have the full folder sent to you of what is expected of you."

"Ok, but you know that I still can't tell you about my powers." Ron said with caution, now the true game began.

"I think that you said that you would give me all your skills," Betty replied, narrowing her eye.

"And I will, but like I said, I was sworn to remain silent about it," he stated.

"You know that's not how it works. Either you work whole heartily for me or don't work at all." Betty glared at him, "I cannot allow my employee to work for some shady figures."

"They're not shady and you know that. I wouldn't double cross you, I'm not that kind of person," he crossed him arms, "Didn't I earn your trust by now?"

"Trust is very lethal in my occupation and I do not have luxury to give it at will." Betty told him, "So you either tell me all about your powers of I'm revoking the deal."

Her voice rang through the suddenly silent air plane. The atmosphere was so thick that you could cut it with a knife. A large butter knife that was warm to the touch – Mmm delicious mouthwatering butter.

"I can tell you about my powers, but not who trained me… that's as far as I'm willing to go." Ron said with a sigh.

"Deal," she grinned inwardly, the time for the rest will come, "Let's go somewhere private." She stood and walked to the cargo bay with Ron following her. She ordered the agents there to leave." Well…"

"It's called mystical monkey power –" he started.

"That trickery that Monkey Fist always blabbed on about?" Betty deadpanned.

"Yes, but it's not a trickery… it is very real." He concentrated and moved a small crate to him with his will, making Betty gasp, "I know a few tricks and I'm no master."

"What precisely can you do? Except that and sword summoning?" she inquired.

"Basically I only get superhuman strength and are able to sense people around me up to sixty meters and that's all." Ron excluded the truth about the Lotus blade and his mind skills. Like hell he was going to tell her that, "But I'm still a noob."

"I see. Who else knows of this," she pressed.

"Kim, her mom, Shego," he said calmly.

"You trust HER with that info?" Betty asked stunned.

"Well a relationship should be based on trust," Ron said carefully, "She trusted me with a few things too and helped me immensely."

"Are you really sure about it Ron? You know that her past won't just go like that." Betty said.

"I am… I believe in her, deep down she's good," Ron cringed, biting his tongue, "God I sound just like Hego!"

"Have it ever occurred to your that your faith may be misplaced?" She wanted to make sure that Ron was convinced to go with his plan.

"Have it ever occurred to you that maybe she just needed a little faith in her to stay a hero – To have someone who will believe in her?" Ron asked rhetorically.

"Very well," she sighed, "I would like to see you soon at our exam. You will be evaluated for your skills," she said in a dismissing tone.

"Yes ma'am," he mock saluted and went back to the passenger bay.

With Kim and Shego,

After Ron had left the two females glares were became more hostile to the point where many agents excused themselves from the passenger's bay just to avoid being hurt.

"You just had to ruin his life didn't you?" Kim finally spat

"You think that I'm happy about that Princess?" Shego snapped, "He just had to go and play white knight," Shego said through her teeth.

"And you're an ungrateful bitch at that. I can't see why he's even bothering with you," Kim shot with anger, "When there is so much better woman around!"

"Like you? Ronnie gave you the cold shoulder when you confessed?" Shego said with mirth, "And don't you ever call me ungrateful you damn hypocrite! At least I'm ungrateful because I'm worried what that bitch will demand from him! I would have been perfectly fine, but he just had to flash with his white knight streak!"

"It's because that's how he is! He will always put his neck at risk for other people! And never demand anything in return! And you snatched him from me!" Kim yelled spluttering.

"That wasn't that fucking difficult! I just gave him a minimal amount of respect and listened to him for a bit, and not treated him like a damn side kick all the time!" She jumped on her feet making Kim do the same.

"Yeah right! You probably just used your low seduction skills and messed with his head," Kim growled.

"Tsk, and least I can impress him with something, unlike you and your pointy breasts!" Shego exclaimed.

"I don't have pointy breasts you bitch!" She swiped her fist at Shego, but the villainess easily blocked it and countered it with the kick To Kim's midsection. The teen hero jumped back, but forgot that she was in a confined space. She hit the wall and yelped in surprise.

"Not so tough when you're caged like a rat," Shego lit her hands. "Maybe I should give you a few nice burns to go with that shallowness of yours."

"Try it," Kim pressed a button on her watch and suddenly her whole body was protected by her blue and white suit. "Now we're even."

Shego let a low growl. That thing pissed her off to no ends.

"If you think that this little dress will help you… then you're sadly mistaken." She cracked her knuckles and both of them tensed readying to lunge at each other.

"Ahem," Ron cleared his throat, "I want to remind you that I was supposed to be the immature one here." Ron said with a sigh, walking between them, "Now what was the problem again?"

"My problem is that you're dating my Arch-nemesis!" Kim screeched.

"And mine is that this little bitch is pissing me off!" Shego spat.

Ron shook his head in desperation and sat heavily on the seat.

"Kim, why can't you accept that I love Shego?" Ron asked making the raven haired villainess blush with his direct confession. "And Shego, why can't you accept that Kim is my best friend and that I care for her deeply? Can you at least not try to kill each other while I'm not looking? Please? Do it for me?" the goofy teen pleaded, "Just let it go."

"I didn't see you letting go while fighting Monkey Fist!" Kim shot back.

"Low blow Princess," Shego said seeing Ron's face darkened.

"I also didn't see Shego trying to murder your family in cold blood…" he growled, "I've told you once that what is between you and Shego is worlds apart from me and Monkey Fist. So don't ever dare to bring that scum up again," he whispered deadly serious making Kim gulp nervously. The Ron she used to know never would have stared at her like that, even if he was furious.

"Chill Stoppable don't go all Zorpox on her," Shego said. She really didn't mean to side with Kim, but she would do everything to wipe out that cold look from his face. Hell even Zorpox's mad laugh would be better than that.

'Ugh I did not just think that,' she held the urge to face palm.

"See Kim? Shego's already trying!" Ron said smiling instantly. "Just a little bit of good will is all it takes!"

"Just zip it," she said tiredly and sat on her right while Kim on his left.

'So that's how the Berlin wall felt like?' Ron though with amusement.

Middleton,

GJ dropped the trio in front of Kim's house.

"So now it's time for everyone to go –" Ron started.

"Not so fast I need to talk to you," Shego said, "Privately," glaring at Kim.

"Ok then let's go to my house," he replied trying to sound casual. "See ya tomorrow Kim." Ron added quickly, preventing the redhead's outburst. Kim huffed and walked to her home shutting the doors behind her.

The duo walked to Ron's empty house. He let her in first and walked to the kitchen for some refreshments.

Shego sat on the sofa in his living room and patiently waited for him. To her eternal shame, she had to admit that she was getting nervous. She really hadn't had the slightest idea on how to bite the subject she wanted to discuss. Every simulation she ran in her mind make her sound like an ungrateful bitch and thus hurting Ron in process.

The raven girl bit her lower lip.

Since when did she give a damn about hurting anyone?

'Maybe since you have fallen for him,' a small voice in her head answered her question. She took a deep breath just in time for Ron to enter the room with two glasses and orange juice. He put it on the table and sat next to her, but not too close – Their relationship was still quite fresh and he needed to trend it carefully.

"Ron…" Shego finally started after few minutes of awkward silence. "What did Betty make you do in exchange for my freedom?" The blonde quickly summarized her the talk, "I see… Ron. Know that I appreciate what you've done, but never do it again," she said more sternly.

"Sorry. But no," he replied with smile.

"Why?" Shego restrained herself from sighing.

"Because I don't like when you're afraid," he told her simply.

"I wasn't scared!" Shego exclaimed angrily. He gave her almost patronizing look.

"You were… I saw it." Ron stated calmly, "So I did everything to remove the source of your fear."

"I never asked you to do that!" Shelia protested.

"You didn't have to." Ron smiled, "I did it, regardless. I knew you were too prideful to ask."

"I don't need your damn protection! I can handle myself!" she all but shouted.

"I know, probably better than me, but I want to protect you." he said honestly. "And if I can prevent something bad happening to you. I will."

"I'm not some damsel in distress," she mumbled. The idea of someone helping her repulsed her. She never needed anyone's help. She looked into Ron's eyes and saw what she hated the most…

Pity.

"Stop looking at me like that!" Shego growled.

"You know it's sad," he said ignoring her outburst. "That you can't even trust anyone anymore… that you're afraid to rely on other people."

"If you grew the way I did, you would be the same." She said bitterly.

"But I didn't and that why it hurts me is that you don't trust me." Ron said sadly making her flinch, "What do I have to do to gain your trust?"

She just looked at him unable to respond.

"What do I have to do to make you let me in?" Ron pressed.

"Why can't it be simple Ronnie," she countered with a question, "Why can't you just want to have sex with me? I would really sleep with you," her statement made him blush crimson, "But you have to complicate it with all this mushy crap."

"Is that what you want? Just sex?" Ron asked incredulously.

"You wouldn't call it just sex if you knew how pleasant it is." She jabbed him being a virgin. Soon her face gained a seductive look and she leaned on him putting her hand on his thigh.

"But maybe I should teach you," she purred. She turned to him and put her hand on his shoulders and pushed him back to now where she was on top of him.

Her lush black raven hair hung above Ron's bright red face, obscuring everything expect from her face. She smiled lewdly and leaned to capture his lips…

"Stop it," he chocked.

"What?" Shego gasped shocked, no one ever refused her.

"Stop it… because if you don't. I'll lose all respect I had for you." Ron said more clearly now pushing her off him.

"I don't understand," she mumbled, "Didn't you want it?"

"Hell yes I wanted it," Ron admitted blushing crimson, "Even now my mind is screaming at me for being an idiot and not going with the flow but… it's not about sex now."

"You're naïve, it's always about sex," Shego replied.

"And you're twisted… who the hell did that to you?" Ron inquired. He noticed with sadness that her eyes widened in shock. It seemed that he guessed right. Someone corrupted Shego's view on relationships.

"It's none of your damn business!" Shego spat jumping on her feet, "Then what the hell do you want from me! Cut all that romantic crap! Say it clearly!"

"YOU!" Ron roared shooting up, glaring at her with fury. "I want you! You idiot! How hard is for you to understand that I don't have any fucking ulterior motive and just want to have a normal relationship with you!"

During his rant he advanced at her. His eyes started to glow blue. By the time he was finished, Shego was pressed to the wall, "Why can't you understand that?!"

"And what makes you think that YOU understand everything," she felt fury overtake her, "What makes you think that you can understand a damn thing about me!" Shego closed the remaining gap between them. Their faces were now inches apart, "You don't know shit about how cruel this world can be."

"Then help me understand!" Ron shouted to her face, "Help me understand who the real Sheila is," he almost pleaded.

"I…" she hesitated. It was his second time asking to know her. It was his second time asking her to trust him. And she had a nasty feeling that there won't be a third time, "Ok… I'll show you a glimpse of who I am, but swear to me that you won't mention it to anyone… ever!"

"I swear… so how are you going to show me it?" Ron asked.

"Tomorrow… after your school – we'll go on a little trip to somewhere," she said leaning on the wall.

"To where," he pressed.

"You will see… now I have to go," she sighed.

"You don't have to. You can stay for the night," he offered, "It's getting late… and I would like to spend some time with you," he admitted with a deep blush.

"O-Ok," Shego caved in immediately. Somehow his statement made her chest really warm. To Shego – his innocence was… refreshing. They moved to the sofa and Ron turned TV on and found some crappy romantic comedy. For few minutes they sat in silence so awkward that Shego had half-mind to leave, but just when she was about to announce her idea, Ron managed to gather his course and take her hand. She intertwined her fingers with his.

"You know as my boyfriend you have certain privileges. You don't have to be afraid to touch me," she said with a half smirk. Ron returned the smirk and wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pushed her against him. After few seconds of adjusting they lied comfortably on sofa.

Suddenly the romantic comedy stopped being so crappy.

The Next Day,

Ron's eyes slowly fluttered open as the rays of sun fell on his face. He looked around the living room and saw that the TV has still been running. Then he realized the weight on his chest and looked down to see a messy mop of black hair.

He realized that they at some point feel asleep, exhaustion from earlier finally getting to them. He smirked looking at her sleeping form. He gently brushed a strand of hair from her face and looked at it.

Her face features were unnaturally soft (at least for her) the usual scowl and tightly knitted eyebrows were gone too.

Ron decided that he really liked that look and the only thing lacking would be a smile. He caressed her cheeks eliciting a quiet mumble from her and having her snuggle closer.

'I could get used to this.' He chuckled silently and looked at his watch. It showed that it was half past five in the morning. School started at eight. He decided that he could sacrifice half an hour to lie here with her.

He spent most of that time gently petting her hair listening to her breaths. He really enjoyed the tranquility of the morning.

Sadly the time flew way too fast for him and he had to get up. He gently shook Shego.

"Wakey, wakey," he said. Shego's eyes snapped open, her whole body tensing. "Whoa! Chill Sheila," he said quickly. Her vision focused on him and she relaxed.

"Hey Ronnie…" she greeted him embarrassed with her slip. Her cheeks turned a shade greener, "Looks like we stayed up for a while."

"It seems so… sadly I have to get up and prepare to school." Ron sighed and Shego did as well, she was really comfortable now. "I'll go take a quick shower and then it's your turn."

"Maybe we should take it together? You know to save time." She purred watching with amusement as his face went beef red. "Or maybe I'm not pretty enough for you?" she pouted.

"N-no! You're beautiful Sheila!" Ron spluttered making her grin.

"Aww you're so sweet when you're embarrassed," she laughed. Ron shook his head and untangled himself form Shego and went to wash himself – leaving her to her thoughts.

She had to admit that the evening was nice despite their argument. It felt normal just to be any normal couple. It was not often that she would do normal, not to mention a guy who's motto 'was never to be normal.' Shego sighed; she was already missing his warmth more than she should. To the point where she had fallen asleep in his arms and that should never happened – ever.

As much as she detested the idea of sharing her past he deserved some answers. He might have thought that he was doing what was best for her, but he hadn't understood a thing about her… well maybe he did a bit but not everything… and that was her fault for being so secretive.

And he seemed to really want it to work… to the point where he would refuse to sleep with her. That thought actually pissed her off. No on refused her anything, she would get it one way or another, no matter the costs.

Up in the showers Ron felt a shudder go down his spine. He decided to finish the shower quickly and dressed just as fast. Walking downstairs and announcing that the shower was free and he left clean towels on the shelf for her.

"Last chance Ronnie," Shego said slyly, "You don't know what you're missing." Ron jolted to the kitchen, before his hormones overthrown his sense and forced him to do something he would really like to do right now. He calmed his throbbing… heart and went to prepare breakfast. Pancakes would be today's menu special today.

Shego finished her shower washing her hair from Ron's blood. 'Ugh how the hell did I miss that?' She walked downstairs only to be assaulted by a delicious aroma of fresh pancakes. She walked into the kitchen almost unable to hold the drool.

"Breakfast ready pancakes with maple syrup and fresh orange juice," Ron announced with a wide smile.

"Food," Shego droned and dug in mindlessly ripping through large mountain of pancakes. Ron quickly sat to wanting to at least get a few. Somehow they went through the pile of forty pancakes under ten minutes.

"Damn Ronnie…" Shego breached, "I don't remember breakfast ever being good!" She licked the maple syrup from her lips.

"Cause it wasn't made by me," he boasted.

"True… my offer still stands; I'll even throw in some extra benefits." She pushed her chest up.

"I think I need to get ready to school," he tried very hard not to stare, the fork in his hand shaking.

"Oh Ronnie you're just way too easy to tease," she laughed, "Now go get ready. You don't want to be late in your last days of school."

"I always keep forgetting that you are a teacher," he wailed.

"Get going or I'll really teach you something." Shego playfully lit her finger making him bolt out of the kitchen. She smirked content with his reaction and finished her juice.

Fifteen minutes later the duo were on a bike and were on their way to the central bus stop from where Shego could take a ride to her lair.

"Ok, when do your lessons ends?" She asked.

"At 15:45," he replied.

"Ok I'll be waiting then." Shego smirked and closed the gap, "Oh and Ronnie… thank you." She pulled him into a deep passionate kiss. After a few seconds she pulled back and looked smugly at his daze expression

"Drive safely." She flicked him in the forehead and went to catch her bus leaving a stunned Ron behind. After ten minutes he came back to his senses and drove to his school with a goofy grin on his face.

School,

How strange it is that when the school is about to end for good the teachers are doing everything to be remembered by their students… and usually not in a positive way.

So the day couldn't get any longer… or actually it could. Kim was giving him cold shoulders and the anticipation of getting to know the hem of Shego's past was eating Ron alive. So by default the minutes were stretched into hours to his agony. He was on verge of a mental break by the lunch break.

When it finally came, he found himself sitting with Felix and Zita, while Kim and Monique took another table.

"You know it's getting childish," Felix said, "She could chill out a bit."

"Jealously is pretty strong thing Felix," Zita wrapped her arms around him and glared at Ron.

"Why are you looking at me that way?" Ron asked not liking the answer.

"I'll not give him to you!" Ron would take it seriously, if not for small smirk.

"Zita! We're not like that!" Felix shouted mortified.

"I need to be sure! You're reading FanFiction too much! And you know that there is a literal flood of Yaoi/Yuri stories there! Especially in your favorite series Mik ImPossible where Main heroine is almost always paired with her worst nemesis! I don't want you to have some stupid ideas."

"Guys back to reality please," Ron said face palming, "Let's talk about something more pleasant… hey Felix listen, I have an idea about our company."

"Shoot!" Felix said instantly gaining his attention.

"It's about your artificial legs," he started, "I had really nice talk with Betty and she came to the same conclusion as us with our project."

"You mean recreating Centurion?" Felix clarified.

"Yep but now I have even better idea… you heard about grapheme?" Ron asked.

"You mean that material that those guys from Poland made?" he replied.

"Yep the one that is one hundred times more durable than steel, more elastic, not to mention lighter so I thought…" he trailed off.

"To replace the steel components with one made from grapheme… yeah that would work, but it would be extremely expensive to make." He stated.

"I know, but think of the advantages… not to mention the comfort." Ron tempted, "Besides it could extend to our other projects."

"What other projects?" Felix pressed, raising his eyebrows, "What do you have in mind?"

"Brand new IT tech, with that at our disposal we can create ICs ten time as effective as the normal ones since grapheme is much better suited that the materials used now. I need to speak to Wade too, but if we pull something like that off… let's say that supercomputers would be the size of a laptop," he grinned.

"Now you got my attention," Felix mirrored his grin, "Maybe you want to come over with me and discuss everything after school?"

"Maybe tomorrow, I've got plans for today," Ron smiled.

"Oh is it with your dangerous girlfriend?" Zita asked, Ron looked at her surprised, "Oh don't give me that look. It was written all over your face," she giggled, but then grew serious. "Have you spoken with Tara? Poor dear is still waiting for you."

Ron held the urge to face palm he completely forgot about it.

"Ughh…" Ron grumbled unsure what to say.

"You should speak with her… it's not cool to keep her waiting like that." Zita said crossing her arms. Ron hung his head in shame. She probably felt like what he felt after the prom waiting for the answer.

"You know what? I'll go to tell her now… it's no use to prolong it any longer." Ron stated with a sigh. He looked around and saw her sitting with Bonnie and the so called popular kids – aka guys that Ron beat the crap out, but managed to heal to come back to school.

He felt almost ashamed of his glee when he saw them pale when they noticed him approaching… almost.

"Hey Tara… Can I speak with you?" he asked. His fellow blonde stood and walked with him to the unoccupied corner of the cafeteria. "Listen Tara I wanted to apologize for not talking with you for so long."

"It's ok Ron, you've been busy," she said smiling gently.

'Thanks for making it even harder.' Ron thought, "Tara I don't know how to say this…"

"So the rumors that you have girlfriend are true?" She asked looking at him with sadness and regret.

"Yeah… I never wanted to keep you out of the loop for so long, but so many things happened and I honestly forgot and now I feel like an asshole." he rambled until he felt her hand on his shoulder.

"Ron… I understand… things like that happens," she said with slightly breaking voice making him feel even worse, " But tell me… would you have been my boyfriend if I asked earlier… before you met her?"

"Yes," he replied instantly, "I would've jumped on the occasion… you're a wonderful badical woman Tara…"

"Thanks you… I wish you best luck with her." Tara turned around wiping a lone tear from her face. She quickly let the cafeteria. Only then he realized that the place was silent. Everyone was now looking at him.

As on cue Bonnie stood and walked angrily to him. He didn't even defend himself when she slapped him.

"How could you hurt her you damn loser!" She roared and ran out of the place to find Tara.

"Guess I deserved that," he mumbled, massaging his angry red skin. He sighed and with slumped shoulders walked towards Zita and Felix, who began cheering him up.

At the other table Kim and Monique observed the whole scene in silence.

"Well can't say that I hadn't expected that," Monique said. "You should go talk to him."

"I won't talk to him until he ends his foolishness with Shego!" Kim stated firmly.

"Are you ready to not talk to him for the rest of your life?" Monique asked rhetorically. "Come on Kim, just try… maybe it won't be so bad?"

"Hmph," she crosses her arm, "Ron will come back to his sense soon, I know it. And he will see that there are much better women around than Shego."

"My Jellin' sense is tingling Kim. Are you still mad that he shot you down," giggled Monique.

"O-Of course not!" Kim's lie was so blatant that Monique hadn't even bothered to call her out on it.

"You should just let it go Kim and move on," she stated. "It will be better for Ron and for you."

"I'll prove him wrong you will see!"

After School,

After the last bell, the crowds of students left the school in happiness and moved to the bus stop or the parking lot. Ron, Felix, Zita, plus Kim and Monique tagging behind them were in the latter.

Ron looked around, but Shego was nowhere to be seen. But before he even managed to grow worried, a distant hum of a motorcycle engine could be heard. In a few seconds later a black and green Ducati drove to the parking attracting attention for two reasons.

Firstly because the machine was polished to the point of shining and second because it's driver was dressed into a skin tight black suit that highlighted hers voluptuous curves.

Shego stopped right beside Ron and took off her helmet letting her long raven hair loose. Taking a peek around she saw that small crowd was looking at her. With a smug smile she slid one finger under Ron's collar and pulled him into deep kiss. Her smile widened when she heard gasp from the crowd.

"Hey Ronnie, how was your school?," she asked slyly.

"Until now, unbearable," he grinned. "So you ready?"

"Yea, I'm ready." Shego said with small smile. Ron walked to his bike and moved it next to hers.

"Then let's not waste any more time Shelia," Ron put his helmet on, "See ya tomorrow guys!" The sidekick waved at his friends and sprung his engine into life.

"Follow me Stoppable!" Shego exclaimed and bolted forward with screeching tires closely followed by Ron – leaving dumbfounded crowd behind.

"Was that?" Tara chocked not being able to believe what she just seen.

"No way that loser…" Bonnie was at a los for words, 'Damn, no wonder he shot Tara down.' Bonnie thought with shame. The crowd started to chatter excitedly, and by Ron's horrible luck, that news would reach Barkin's ears this very day…

Not to mention that Kim pulled out hers Kimmunicator.

"What's up Kim?" Wade asked slurping his cola.

"Wade I need a precise location of Ron ASAP," she said in hushed voice.

"Kim you know I don't feel comfortable with…" he started.

"Wade…" Kim growled making him cover in fear.

"S-Sure you'll have it in your Kimmunicator," he shuttered and disconnected. The screen instantly had shown the map of the time with a red dot rapidly making distance between her position.

"Great, now he's breaking traffic rules!" Kim quickly walked to her own car.

On the Road,

Ron followed Shego for some time now and was not happy where they were going...

Lowerton!

It wasn't a good and safe place to be. In the last two decades the place went through horrible recession and fell down pretty hard on standards. At first industrial jewel of Tri-city was now a hollow reminder of former glory with many empty manufactures and magazines with unemployment reaching forty five percent… officially.

He really hadn't had good feelings about it. He would never want his Sheila in a place like that, someone could hurt her.

'Yeah right! Rather she would hurt that unfortunate guy,' he thought with humor, but his bad mood quickly returned. After twenty minutes or so she slowed down and moved to the back alley.

The alley was everything Ron expected form such a place. Dirty – smelly – littered with trash, but luckily there weren't' any homeless there yet. The alley ended with a dead end that served as a parking. Shego parked her bike.

"Is it safe to leave it here?" Ron asked.

"Don't worry Ronnie; local crooks know to not steal things from this place," she smirked "So how do you like it?"

"Honestly, it's dirty, smelly, and I would do everything to get out of here," he stated.

"Indeed," she nodded, "Now let's go inside." They moved to the suspicious back door nearby and opened it, "Come on, don't be scared Ronnie."

Ron nodded and with hesitation followed her. He entered a dim lit corridor that had seen a better times… a long time ago. After a brief walk, she opened another doorsand lead him to the… go go club?

The place looked quite obscure and it was obviously that it was closed for some time for everything was covered by a thick layer of dust. They walked to the side and flicked the lights on. Instantly everything was lit in pink, violent, and red.

"Sheila why are we in such place?" Ron asked very carefully. She just walked behind the bar and motioned him to come closer. He sat at the one dusty chair. She leaned down and pulled out suspiciously clean glasses and a bottle of whisky.

"Don't worry it's my secret stash." Shego reassured him.

"Sheila I'm driving," he said making her give him classic 'Are you fucking kidding me look.'

"You want with ice or clean?" Shego just asked.

"With ice please," he said defeated. She poured him a glass and then herself.

"Ron what I'm about to tell you can't leave this room… ever… even if we won't be together anymore." She looked at him deadly serious. He just nodded looking into her eyes.

" I was about your age when I ran from Go city to find a better life… but being a dumb teenager I hadn't anticipated that I would need lots of cash to survive on my own… Hego usually managed the finances and my humble saving hadn't lasted very long."

Shego took a large gulp, "So soon I found myself broke… for about three months I traveled from place to place… and ended up here," this time Ron took a sip, "With my last savings gone, I stood on the bus stop in this convulsing body of a city… me, a young girl with just a high school education couldn't' find a job in such place… at least not a respectful one… but a growling stomach is a strong motivator… and I had no intention to be a whore… no matter how much I needed money."

She chuckled bitterly at the relief on Ron's face and took another swing empting the glass, she poured it full again, "So after going through dozen's of offers I landed in this place behind the bar and as a security… the owner of this place was called Black Jack. You can guess that he was a black guy. He always wore his ridiculous violent suit and wore so much gold that it could be melted into a car and there would still be plenty left over. So one day he found me and offered me to be a stripper. I had told him to buzz off, but he was persistent. So then I used my powers to scare him off… he then came up with a different proposal. He offered me to work as non-working girl and a bodyguard in his club… that was the best offer I got in days and I jumped at it."

Again she emptied half of a glass in one go. During her story Ron found himself empting the glass too. Shego noticing that filled it, "And that seemed like a Jackpot at the time. The pay was nice and the working conditions were far better than I expected… aside from the skimpy uniform. You cannot believe how many guys tried to grope me even after they saw what happened to others," she chuckled in a tipsy way, "And Jack seemed so nice he had even found me a decent apartment and paid for the rent in two months in advance. Of course I had to pay him back, but he gave me half year to do so, and that's how my life looked for next year and a half. It wasn't half bad, I had a steady income, you can't even imagine how much tips you can get with a few smiles, winks, and swaying your hips in the right moment."

"Oh I can," he smiled at her making her giggle. She was now actually going through her third glass and hadn't shown signs of slowing down.

"So I started my bachelor degree, of course I actually wanted some proper job with proper insurance policy. I had saved up quite a nice stash of savings and everything was going smoothly until my apartment was robbed…" another deep swing, "and vandalized. I lost everything, I've worked hard for. I was devastated and by some strange coincidence Black Jack magically appeared and comforted the poor stupid girl. He told me that he had some problems with cash so he couldn't lend me money, but he offered me a proposal."

Pause.

"Do one dance and get half of the income from that night," she chuckled, "By the time I thought that he was saint incarnated. I quickly managed to clean up the mess and he spoke to the owner about my situation and convinced him to give me a rain check on that month's rent. So for next week I trained for my grand night," sarcasm dripped from her voice, "I was a cheerleader so my body was ready and I just had to learn a dance or two… it was easy, but I was nervous. My senior co-worker advised me to not look into the clients' eyes. Smile – dance – but never look into their eyes."

Shelia took a heavy gulp, "And so the night came, the bar was filled to the full. Apparently I was really popular and so it began. At first I was petrified and my movements were stiff… but then I've just remembered better times and treated it as a cheerleading practice. To tell the truth is felt like a blast and before I knew it I was done. I was rewarded with a thunderous applause and first I was happy, but then I've made a mistake… I looked into one guy's eyes… and all I saw was an animalistic lust in that fucker's eyes. To them I wasn't even a person, only a fucking meat to look at or fuck nothing more than a common street whore. I barely managed to keep the façade, I've earned fifteen grand that night, but it felt like I've sold my soul to the devil. So I just curled in my bed and cried myself to sleep that night." She took a final swing and noticed that her glass was empty as well as the bottle. She pulled another one again and filled both glasses.

Another pause.

"Then the fucker came and said that I was so good that he would like to have me as permanent attraction. Again it sounded like a great offer, better than what the rest of the girls got, but I declined. To my surprise he wasn't angry and told me that he respected my decision… my ass," Shego spat, "He then made a foolish mistake. As soon as he left my apartment he called his 'friend' and told him that he needed another favor. I tailed him out and overheard that him saying that the little bitch Sheila needs another visit… and so here was the knife in the back."

She burst out laughing. Personally Ron hadn't found this even a bit funny, "So I pretended to go out as usual and the overconfident pricks went in as soon as I left to trash my place again… and I beat them badly – very badly. I found out that the owner of my block was one of Jack's crooks and my money went straight back to that black fucker. What's more, he had the gall to pay me for the night with my own money!" She exclaimed, "In blind fury, I stormed the club – dragged him out – massacred him – busted out all his teeth – broke all his limbs, and then hunged him by said broken limp of a body on a traffic light."

Pause again.

"Since that day, everyone knows to not fuck with me. Later I came back and found the terrified girls in the club. They told me similar stories on how noble he seemed at first, only to turn into a son of a bitch next. He made a living off using desperate young girls. The bastard even owned a brothel too, but forbade everyone from telling me that. Then I went to his office broke his safe and took all the money he had and it was quite a lot by the way. I shared it with the girls and just took my part and left that fucking city. I then finished my course elsewhere and even got a job as a teacher."

A gleam flickered in Shego's eyes.

"But… that night when I was breaking that fucker… it gave me thrills. I loved the feeling of being in power… on top to hehe doing whatever I wanted. I felt pleasure torturing that scum!" Shego grinned savagely, "By some stroke of luck… or misfortune, I've met Drakken in one of the bars drinking his failures away. Something made me pity him, or maybe I felt some sort of bond since he was a color freak too. I started talking to him and eventually started to work for him… hihi!"

She hiccupped, "Don't tell anyone, but he kind of was my father figure. After he took me in and worked on my language with me." She slightly slurred as she burned through a second bottle, "Mind that I had many problems in my work with an accent that can cut through bricks. Also he respected… or feared me and always… or most of the times were fair to me. And that's it! You wanted my past, you got it." She looked at him and saw him staring at the counter with a dark look on his face.

'Yup and now he will lash at me for being such a whore.' Shego thought sadly, but the feelings were dulled by the alcohol, "So you hate me now?"

"No…" he growled furiously."I hate your brothers. I hate Go-city. I hate that fucking pimp and everyone who forced you to do that. But I can never hate you… now I respect you even more… hell I admire you!" Ron said with passion that made her heart skip a beat. A warm feeling blossomed in her chest, "After all that you still keep your head up… You're amazing Sheila!"

She leaned forward and pulled him into a kiss. He tasted like whiskey, but she liked it. Suddenly a thought struck her.

"Hey Ronnie, would you like to see me dance?" She swayed in her seat.

"No I don't want you to go through that ever humiliation again!" He protested, but his blush betrayed his true feeling.

"If it's you, it's ok," she said standing and walked to the side where an old stereo was.

She somehow found a CD and played it. The room was filled with some crappy unstylish tunes. Shego walked to him and led him to the seat right below the stage. Ron sat on dusty chair and trailed her alluring moves and she walked up. She walked up and unzipped the front of her motorbike suit so the healthy dose of her bust could be seen.

Shego slowly approached the pole and leaned on in so now it was stuck between her legs and breast. She licked her lips looking at Ron and slowly started to crouch spreading her knees wide. She pressed herself deeper onto the pole and slowly stood; raising her left leg and bent it. Shego slowly wrapped herself around the pole and started to sensually rub against it, looking into Ron's eye. She let a quiet moan when she rubbed a particularly sensitive spot. Suddenly she did a half spin – so now her back faced Ron.

Slowly Shego started to sway her hips, pushing her fit butt back. She crouched again still constantly swaying her hips in a delicious devious manner. After a few seconds her moves gained speed. With a final sway she embraced the pole with her legs arched back , pushing her chest up so now she was looking at him upside down.

But quickly the task she did changed and she moved up and stood on the ground again, only to gain speed with a small momentum. She spun forward and changed the position of her body, now changing upside down. Turned back to Ron she made a perfect twine with pole stuck between her butt cheeks. She slowly brought her legs closer and wrapped them around the pole straightening her back. Now it looked like she was standing upside down. She froze for few seconds in that position with a faraway look in her eyes.

Ron on the other hand was enamored. Her slender body dancing on the pole in sexual fluid moves, the tight leather pressed again her skin making it glitter in the light, and those emerald eyes looking into his as she made every voluptuous. His breath was labored with desire. He wanted that woman, to make her only his forever and not share her with anyone.

His member was rock hard, but he hadn't cared. He looked at her still glued to the pole and knew that he would do everything to keep her with him.

Shego slowly slid from the pole and landed on the ground. She looked at Ron and saw his dreamy expression shadowed with lust eyeing her every move. The desire in his eyes made her grown hot between her legs. She slowly crawled on all four towards him. Her long raven hair hung loosely around her face making her look slightly savage.

She came down from the stage to Ron's table and looked into his eyes.

"You liked it?" she purred, brining her face close.

"I loved it," he captured her lips pulling her to his lap. Shego eagerly accepted and wrapped her legs around his waist, "Sheila… I love you." Ron breached between the kisses, "I want you. All of you," he said in a wave of possessiveness.

In one fluid move he lifted her and put her on the table. She let a small yelp at the action, but continued to kiss him. Ron was now pressing her to the table wanting to feel as much of her as possible, "You're mine and only mine," he looked into those alluring green orbs.

"Feeling bold aren't we?" she asked, half dazed.

"Very," he started to kiss her throat hungrily, eliciting a moan from her. He trailed kisses down until he reached her breasts. He was just about to lick the soft flesh when…

"RON STOP IT!" A shout came from behind the pair.
