Alex: A few moments earlier

I had managed to pull my head out of the head strap, giving me the ability to look around. We were in a cell, that much I could tell. One small window with three bars was located at the very top of the cell. Too small to even try and rip the bars out, even if we were able to reach them. Taking a whiff of the air, I frowned at catching the scent of sand. Nothing else but sand, gun powder, and sweat.

'Nathan?'

'Alex!'

'Oh thank god!'

'Are you okay?! Where are you?!'

'I don't know. Ziva is here with me as well.'

'What's around you? Can you see or smell anything?'

I sighed. 'No, they have me strapped down. The chains and straps are laced with something. All I smell is sand, sweat, and gun powder. I can hear people talking, but it's not in English.'

'Makes no sense. Eyal said the ones that took you both were from a gang.'

'The ones at the park yes, but these here are not.' Then it clicked. 'We must have been transferred over while I was out cold.'

'Okay, okay. Eyal brought in Gibbs and his team. He knows-'

'He did what?!' I am going to kill him. 'Why the hell did he do that?!'

Nathan chuckled. 'You can ask him when I get you back. I noticed you had been shot, are you healed?'

'It's getting there. Slowly.' I left out the possibility of our pups being no more. I couldn't tell him, not like this and not until I was sure. 'Will you be able to play nice with Jethro?'

'For you? I would bow down to him. Hang in there Alex, I'll get you back.'

'Please hurry.'

The sound of the door opening, had us frozen in place. Three men stepped into the room, two going straight for Ziva. Watching them unchain her and drag her out of the room, had me going rabid. I strained against the chains and straps, trying my hardest to snap them. Anything to stop them from taking her. I had to keep her and her pups safe, just long enough for the others to get here. Seeing Ziva being dragged out of the room, I focused all that anger and fear into getting out of the straps. Snapping the straps holding my paws down, I pounced myself up with a loud growl.

"Hurry up!" One of the men shouted, ushering the others out. "Hurry the hell up!"

My eyes landed on the closest man. Leaping, I pounced onto his back, biting down on the back of his neck. I held nothing back, latching onto the most I could and ripping it out. The man had no time to scream or beg for his existence. Dropping the piece of meat, I took another leap, just to slam against the heavy metal door.

'Fuck!' Pacing around, I searched for anything. Anything that can lead to me getting out of here. 'Nathan?!'

'What is it?!'

'They took Ziva! They took her!'

'Okay calm down.'

'Don't tell me to calm down!' I growled, slamming against the door. 'They just dragged her out of here! I got one, he's dead, but I couldn't stop them! Dammit!' I panted against the door, my shoulder aching from the pounding. 'I can't get this door open!'

'We know where you are Alex. I was able to get Manny to speak.'

'How long till you get here?' Nathan was quiet for a while. 'Nathan how long?'

'The shortest 10 hours.'

'Ten.'

'We have a jet, shortens the time. But you guys were taken to Somalia.'

'Somalia!' How the hell did we get here?! 'Just hurry, please. I can't hear or smell Ziva.'

'We'll be there soon.'

With Gibbs and the others:

Gibbs clicked the phone with a heavy sigh. Leon had just advised they were on their own. The government was not about to start an international war, for an agent and a dog. Not that he blamed them, they didn't gather the information in the most legal of ways. Nathan had nearly tortured Manny to death to get the location.

Flashback:

Gibbs and the team pulled up a graveled road, leading them to stop in front of an old beat-up barn. Jumping out of the vehicle, Eyal walked out from inside the barn. A handful of tactical men, wearing masks and carrying weapons surrounded the building. Half around the barn, another half over a ledge circling them. Eyal had them leave their weapons in a safe lock on a table. Then they were patted down, before being let into the barn.

The inside was not what they expected. It was a cemented room, with four windows up high and only two doors. Both guarded by two men each. The barn's outside look was just a shell, covering the true appearance of the room. There was a walkway that circled the entire room, located about halfway up. Six men were placed there. Two walking around, with the other four placed as snipers in each window.

The walls were all covered with different maps and papers. The east wall was all computers, monitors, and gadgets. The west wall a cage with nothing, but an arsenal. And in the middle of the room, hanged Manny from a beam. The man was bloody and his clothes were all shred, yet he showed no injuries. None visual at least.

Eyal stopped them on the platform in front of the door. Telling them to stay here, but not before warning them of what was about to happen. He did give them the option to wait outside, but they all refused. Leaving them there, he made his way down. Two of his guards blocking the team from going down as well.

Gibbs turned his attention back towards Manny. He remembered him, it was the guy Nathan had dragged away. Walking over to the rail, he clasped onto the beam looking down at the scene. Eyal stood on the sideline, placing a pair of black gloves on.

Out from nowhere Nathan appeared, his hands covered in red crimson blood. His shirt was splattered with blood and other fluids. Nathan approached Manny, standing in front of him. Gibbs couldn't hear very clearly from his distance, but it sounded as if Nathan was asking where Ziva was. At first, it was simple questions, but that changed fast. Nathan used what appeared to be an iron pipe to hit Manny in the side. The sound of that pipe connecting with the man's body had the agents in the room cringing. Nathan continued this a few hits more, before switching to a knife. At this point, Gibbs tried to put a stop to it, but the guards were not budging from their spots.

Nathan stepped back from the broken man, gesturing for one of the men to release the chain. Manny fell to the ground with a loud thud. 'Take him back.' That was all Nathan said. Three men stepped up, dragging the half-dead man out. Gibbs watches Nathan pull Eyal to the side, speaking to him lowly. He didn't know what that was about, but the next thing he knew they were heading to an airport, on their way to Somalia.

End of flashback:

To his surprise, Eyal was the only one to accompany them. Nathan was nowhere to be seen. Instead, Eyal appeared with a large black wolf by his side. It didn't go unnoticed in how much the animal resembled Hotch. Only this one was larger and slightly darker.

"What's with the wolf?" Tim asked.

Eyal glanced at the animal. "Just a helping set of paws."

"Where is your buddy?" Tony growled. "He sure seemed to be upset about all this, weird he isn't here."

"Someone has to control the higher-ups." Eyal replied. "Make sure we all still have jobs after this."

Tony scoffed. "What's he going to do? Look pretty."

Nathan growled. 'This kid is getting on my last nerve.'

'Kid?' Eyal raised a brow.

'May I remind you he is much younger than us both.' Sitting up, his eyes fell on Gibbs. The man reeked of desperation and fear, yet he showed none. Unlike Tony, who looked as if he was about to have a complete meltdown.

"How does Nathan know Ziva?" Tony asked, well demand was more like it.

'Does he ever not talk?' Eyal sighed. "Ziva is friends with Nathan's girlfriend."

"And who is that?" Tony asked.

Eyal placed his elbows on his knees, perching his chin onto his hands. "Matt's sister, Alex."

Nathan tilted his head at hearing Gibbs heart beat jump. His eyes clouding over for a moment.

"Besides Nathan was the only one I could trust to get things done. Get the information we needed to find Ziva and Luna." Eyal continued.

Tim frowned. "We could have found it. Ziva is our teammate. Family."

Eyal couldn't help but smile at the younger man. "Yes, I have no doubt in your abilities. But we needed faster results."

"So, torturing a man was your answer?" Tony spat.

"If it makes you feel any better, Nathan was wanting to start cutting pieces off." Eyal replied with no emotions on his face.

Tony pulled a look. "No, it doesn't."

'Alex?'

'I'm here.'

'We are almost there love.'

'I still can't find a way out of this damn room. What's the plan?'

'Tony and Tim will be going in after Ziva. Gibbs will be sniper, hoping to clear some of the ways for us.'

'You need to get to Ziva before anything else. I don't know what they are doing to her, Nathan, but I keep hearing her screams. Promise me. Ziva first, then me.'

'I can't do that. I can't promise that. I get you out first. Eyal and the others can focus on finding her.'

'I am locked in a room, Nathan. Nothing is going to happen to me. Please.'

Nathan growled lowly, sharing a look with Eyal. 'Fine, Ziva first.'

'We'll get them both out, Nathan.' Eyal placed a hand on the wolf's head.

Alex:

Slamming into the door, I staggered back. I had been able to make a dent in the door, but that was it. My body was exhausted and it demanded some rest. Walking over to the window, I contemplated if I could pull the bars off. I knew I wouldn't fit through that space, but I had to try everything. But how would I get up there? There wasn't anything to boost me up. Before I could come up with the next step, the door was pushed open.

Four men stepped in, making a wall between me and the door. My eyes were automatically drawn to the sticks and ropes they were holding. The furthest one held a net, ready to pounce. They spoke Arabic, gesturing to different points in the room. I could take one, two max on my own. But four? That was asking too much. Crouching down with a growl, I watched each one of their movements. They had left the door open, giving me some chance of getting out of here.

"Now doggy, be a good boy and sit." The tallest one cooed.

Seeing his hand reach for me, I nicked his fingers. 'Try that again asshole.'

Holding his hand to his chest, he glowered down at me. "I was hoping in doing this the easy way." He grabbed one of the sticks from his men. "Looks like it's the hard way." He began shouting orders, his men circling in closer to me.

It was now or never.

Dodging the rope aimed for my head, I grabbed it with my mouth, pulling the man onto the ground. With a swift bite to the neck, he was no more. At that moment they all came at me. Biting and scratching anything I could as they scrambled to grab ahold of me. The lead man called out an order, getting them all off me. To my surprise, I had a rope around my neck. Within seconds I was pulled to the ground, two more came in tying me down.

"I told you it was going to be the hard way." He sneered, leaning in closer to me. "I know what you are."

To say I was shocked was an understatement. 'How the fuck did he know?!'

"Keep her tied. The buyer will be here shortly." He chuckled, kicking dirt into my face.

How could he possibly know what I was? Someone must have told him, but who? Ziva didn't know and even if she did, I doubt she would say anything. Was he one? Was that how he knew? No, he would have to have seen me shift. I did know this, the so call buyer knew what I was. But why did he want me?

Eyal and Gibbs:

The moment the jet-set down, Gibbs and the others were on the move. Three trucks were waiting for them on the side.

Eyal reached into one of them, pulling out a map. "Here is what we are looking at. Farid!" A tall man walked over to them, greeting each one. "What did you find?"

"There was talk amongst my men of a trade done with the Americans. A woman and a wolf." He began. "We did some digging around and found them being kept here." He pointed to the map. "That building belongs to Amir and his men."

"Amir?" Eyal frowned. "Amir was killed two years ago."

Farid shook his head. "No, he survived. The reason you haven't seen or heard of him is because he has been laying low. No movement from him or his men, until now."

"That's impossible." Eyal growled. "Nathan and I made sure he was dead."

"What can you tell us about the building?" Gibbs redirected their attention back to the issue at hand.

"It's heavily guarded." Farid said. "You have at least ten or more guarding the building inside. It's a maze of hallways, but if you stick to the main one it will lead you in and out of the building."

"You've been in there. Do you know where Ziva and Luna are being kept?" Eyal asked.

Farid pulled out another map. This one appeared to have been drawn. "My men made this. They were both being kept here. But as of today, Ziva has been moved into the interrogation room. Your wolf is still in the room, but you are short on time with her."

"Why?" Tim asked, his eyes glued to the map.

"Word is Amir has someone interested in buying the animal."

Nathan growled. 'We need to move.'

"Farid, agents Dinozzo and McGee are the two you are taking." Eyal said. "Agents Gibbs will-"

"Clear the path." Farid finished. "Very well. Faisal will take you to change."

Tony gave him a look. "Change?"

"You are too clean to be prisoners, agent." Faisal replied. "We have clothes for you to change in."

Gibbs nudged Tony on. "Get to it Dinozzo, we don't have time to spare."

Farid pulled Faisal over to him. "Make sure you get some on their faces and hair. Amir is not easy to fool."

"Yes sir."

Gibbs noticed the smirk on the younger man as he walked away. "I will be seeing my agents again right?"

Eyal nodded. "No harm will come to them from Faisal or the rest. From Amir, I can't guarantee."

Gibbs decided to ignore the comment, focusing on the map. "I need a clear point of view."

"How close?"

"The further the better."

Farid pointed to a mountain drawn on the map. "This would be perfect. Gives you cover and a clear view of the building. My men have already secured that area."

"Alright, I'll set up there. Clear the path for you." Grabbing the map, he jumped into one of the trucks taking off.

Eyal sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Why wasn't I told Amir was probably alive?"

"Because it was just an assumption Eyal." Farid sighed. "We weren't certain, not until you called. That day we got visual confirmation. Not to mention Amir called for me and my men, wants us working with him again."

"Does he not know you helped us last time?"

"It appears not." Farid's eyes landed on Nathan. "What's with the wolf?" Seeing the look Eyal gave him, he understood. "I suppose the wolf being held is not just a wolf?"

"No."

"Alright then, let's go get your pack back."

Alex:

I yelped as the stick made contact with my shoulder. Followed by a kick to the jaw. Blood dripped from my mouth, flowing to the dirty ground. Same blood they dared to step in with their dirty boots. My blood, my linage, my pup's lineage. This was not how I was going to go out. Seeing one of the ropes slacking, I snapped my teeth onto it. Giving it a tug, I managed to pull it out of the man's grip. That was enough freedom to break from the other two ropes.

Pushing myself up, I stood at my full height. My claws dug into the loose dirt. My teeth bared, stained with my own blood. Saliva dripped down my canines. Shaking the dirt and grime off my coat, I crouched down. My hackle raised as my growls bounced off the walls. I felt stronger than I did these past few months. In fact, I was starting to feel like myself.

'Nathan now would be a good time to show up.'

'Your wish is my command.'

My ears twitched at hearing a low growl behind the men. 'Should have wished for that earlier.'

The men huddled into each other, backing up into a wall. One of them quickly drop to his knees praying. The other two held sticks out in front, demanding we get back. I had thought about letting them go, letting all of this go. But seeing that stick, my rage came back. Both Nathan and I leaped forward, tackling the two holding the sticks. Ripping their throats out, we glanced at the last one.

'Alex?'

'He did nothing to me, just followed orders.' Which was true in a way. All this man did to me was hold the rope. 'Let's go.'

Ziva:

Ziva's head snaped to the side. She spat the crimson blood pooling in her mouth. Her cheek stung from the impact. She didn't even know what the hell he wanted. He didn't ask her anything or demanded anything. All she did was look at him.

"Sir." One of the guards walked in. "Farid and Faisal are outside. They have two Americans."

One look at Ziva and he chuckled. "Bring them in."

Ziva held her breath at seeing Tony and Tim being dragged in. How the hell did they even find her? Where was Gibbs? "Wha-"

"You didn't think we'd leave you in this hell hole did you?" Tony chuckled. "We just didn't think we'd get caught."

Tim laughed. "That soiled the plans just a tiny bit."

"But how?"

Tony glanced at Amir. "With the help of Eyal and Nathan."

Amir sneered at hearing the name. "Where is he?"

Tony scoffed. "Like I'd tell you."

Amir pulled out a knife, placing it against Tony's chest. "Tell me where Eyal Lavine is."

"What if I don't?"

"I will gut you right here." He added pressure to the knife. "You choose."

Tim took a step forward, only to be pulled back by one of the guards. "Relax, I am just going to give him what he wants."

Amir glanced at McGee. "You know where Eyal is?"

"Yeah." Tim gestured to the window. "Look out there."

Amir frowned, walking to the window. "You think this is a joke?!"

"Look again!" Tim yelled back. "He should be there now."

Tony shared a look with Tim, fighting the smirk from appearing on his lips. Seeing Amir look again, he chuckled. "Did I ever tell you about my boss?"

"What?"

"Grumpy. Strict. Loves to slap me over the head." Tony counted off. "Always appears out of nowhere. Used to be a sniper. One of the best actually." Tony's headshot to the side, as a result of the punch he received. Holding back any noise, he pushed himself back up. "That was a sucker punch."

"Tony shut up." Ziva growled through clenched teeth. "Now isn't the time for your jokes." She turned her cold steeled eye towards Amir. "Let them go."

"Why should I?" Amir laughed.

"You have me!" Ziva snapped. "Eyal could care less for these two. He hates Tony and Tim doesn't even cross his mind. You want Eyal, he will come for me."

Amir studied her for a while. His eyes bore into her own. He knew she wasn't lying, but he couldn't give in. "Very well." Pulling a gun out, from behind his back, he aimed it at Tony. "Seems I don't have any use for you two after all."

"Wait, wait!" Ziva yelled. "Just let them go!"

Amir shook his head. "Sorry darling, but the whole point of feigning to be dead is so that no one knows I am alive. Letting these two go, will jeopardize that."

"They won't talk!" Ziva exclaimed. Seeing him squeeze the trigger, Ziva yelled Tony's name as the gun went off. To everyone surprise, Tony was alive. "Luna."

While Amir kept yapping his mouth off, the rescue team had been on the move. Nathan and Luna had taken down the few guards they spotted in the hallways. Farid had left the door just a tad bit open, enough to allow them entrance. Having seen the gun aimed at Tony, Alex reacted before realizing she was. Slamming into Amir, Nathan stood over him, making sure he didn't move. Not that he would. Even he wouldn't move with a snarling wolf standing over him.

"Don't kill him!" Eyal bolted into the room, rushing towards Ziva. "Are you alright?" Pulling out his pocket knife, he quickly untied her from the chair. Gently helping her up, he cupped her face. "Ziva?"

Ziva stared into his hazel eyes. "Eyal." Wrapping her arms around his neck, she buried her face into his chest. His unique scent coming back to her. "You're here."

Eyal chuckled, holding her tightly. "You didn't really believe I wouldn't come did you?"

"Of course not." Ziva chuckled. "Sooner would have been better."

Taking off his jacket, he draped it over her shoulders. "Yeah well Traffic was horrible."

"I hate to break the lovely reunion, but we need to go. Now." Farid called from the door. "You can get reacquainted later."

"Faisal, grab Amir." Eyal ordered. "Farid, can you get us out of here?"

Farid gave him a stiff nod. "I can only guide you until the main hallway. I can not be seen with you."

"Understood."

Alex and Nathan led the group, keeping their eyes peeled for any more hostiles. Eyal walked behind them, ever so often glancing at Ziva. Tim and Tony held up the unconscious Amir, half dragging him in the back. They all froze at hearing multiple voices coming from in front of them. Both wolves crouched down, ready to take on who ever it was. Just as the men rounded the corner, a gunshot went off. One dropped, while the other two had their throats ripped out by Alex and Nathan. Glancing to the right, Alex was relieved to find Gibbs standing there.

'About time he showed up.' Alex huffed, relaxing her posture for a moment. But that quickly became a mistake, when a shadow appeared behind him. 'Gibbs!' Before she could fully react, a grey wolf ran past them, slamming into the shadow. Alex rushed towards Gibbs, pushing him behind her.

Everyone froze, listening to the growls and screams. Looking around they counted both wolves but were missing one man. Their eyes snapped back to towards the shadow, just as all went quiet.

Out from the shadows, a grey wolf walked out. His coat was that of a typical grey wolf, with a darker grey mask on his face. His coat was shaggy, swaying with each step he took. The fur around his neck and down his chest appeared like a mane. His eyes were a steel silver, sending chills down everyone's spine. The Pearl white color around his muzzle and chest was now stained with dripping blood.

Alex snorted. 'You got a little something...everywhere.'

Eyal rolled his eyes. 'Shut up. We have to keep moving.'

'Way to come out to the group.' Nathan laughed, trotting past him.

With a heavy sigh, he looked over to the group. All with the exception of Ziva had wide eyes. Walking over to Ziva, he nudged her on. 'Let's go.'

Their questions could wait until later.

Time jump:

Everyone sat around the helicopter. No one spoke a word. Nathan sat by the entrance of the chopper, enjoying the wind hitting his face. Eyal laid on the floor, trying to clean off the blood as best as he could. I sat next to Gibbs, chuckling at the struggling wolf. The others would glance down at him, no sure if they should even speak. But the one that worried me the most was Tony. Ever since we left Somalia, he reeked of anger and disgust, intensifying every time he looked Eyal's way.

I laughed at the huff Eyal gave, giving up on cleaning himself up. Laying face to face from him, I nudged his jaw up. Cleaning off the blood around his neck and chest. 'You have any idea what you are going to tell Gibbs and the others?'

'No.' Eyal sighed. 'I wasn't even planning on telling them any time soon.'

'Well, they took seeing Hotchner shift pretty well.' I replied.

Eyal shifted his head to the left, allowing me to clean the outside of his ear. 'That's different.'

'How so?'

'Hotchner was just an outsider.' Nathan stated. 'He wasn't apart or dating anyone in the team.'

'Look, I won't say it won't be awkward or an adjustment, but if Ziva is happy they will come around.' I truly hoped I was right. The last thing either of them needed was to choose one thing or the other. After finishing with Eyal, I moved to Nathan. 'I told you to find Ziva first.'

Nathan scoffed. 'You truly believed I would listen to you on that?'

'I suppose not.' Leaning into his side, I inhaled his scent. 'Thank you.'

'For?'

'Coming back for me. Saving me.'

Nathan chuckled. 'Alex I would give my life for you. Flying halfway across the world, is just a walk around the park for me.'

Glancing at Amir, I growled softly. 'What's going to happen to him.'

'Pack trial.' Eyal replied.
