It had been a couple of weeks since the Omega Rangers had returned to earth with Drakkon. They had given him back to Zordon, but Zordon had made it clear that he would be still be going to stop them and they weren't welcome at the command centre. Well for the time being.
The teens slowly made their way towards the Youth Center, they weren't really sure why as the place wasn't even open. They turned the corner. "I think I'm sadder that we cant go back to the Youth Center than I am the Power Chamber", Zack commented.
"I know what you mean", Trini added, "we weren't so attached to the Chamber as the rangers are. But this place has been around for as long as I can remember". The teens then saw a familiar robot walk by. The teens ran to catch up with XI who was moving quickly across the park. He stopped and put his box down on the floor.
"What are you doing on earth XI?" Jason asked.
"Oh rangers", XI began, he turned and looked towards the box on the ground, "I'm just gathering supplies and tools". Xi said.
"I get that", Zack replied, "but we need to help each other out. You can't fix your ship by yourself and we need your help to protect the Universe", the other rangers nodded in agreement. Xi didn't get to say his response though as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers appeared in the park and surrounded the group.
"Man not these guys again", Zack grumbled.
"Xi, Get out of here", Jason cried, "you don't know what you're dealing with".
"But we do", Trini replied as she prepared to fight.
"Yeah cause that worked out well last time", Tommy shot back. He instantly regretted it, "I'm sorry, I just don't want you to get hurt".
"We can take care of ourselves", Trini stated before kicking Rocky in the gut. She followed that up by jamming her elbow in his neck. The rangers also jumped into battle against the MMPR rangers.
Xi admired their bravery and resourcefulness as Zack leveled Adam with a roundhouse kick. " Its Morphin Time!", they rangers held up their morphers , Omega Fire, Air, earth power" in a flash of red. Yellow and black light they morphed and summoned their weapons
Backed into a corner, the rangers were relieved when Kimberly came to their assistance. However it didn't last long, as she moved quickly, punching through Aisha and Kat. Matt and Billy looked on " Kimberly what the hell?" Tommy said. Kimberly smiled her trademark smile, she held up her new morpher " Its Morphin Time! Omega water power" in blue light Kimberly became the blue omega ranger.
Billy and Matt glanced around and realised how close they had been to getting cut down. Kimberly kicked Tommy straight in the crotch, the MMPR rangers took this opportunity to retreat, She turned around to face the rangers, "Thanks Kim, I owe you one", Jason said before powering down.
"They'll be back tho", Trini replied.
Zack sighed, "Let's get back to the ship before they come back" he said. The others nodded. In a flash of coloured light the group disappeared from the park.

Xi sat in his usual captain's chair, he was getting the ship ready, the Omega rangers were sitting the common room, " So i think we upset Tommy" Jason said, Trini giggled " Its not everyday you see your ex on the other team" Trini said. " Yea " Zack said. " Guys i made this choice, Tommy has no say in what i do with my life " Kimberly said, " Oh we know " Trini replied, " You yeeted his balls " Jason said, the rangers burst out laughing.
" It's good to hear you in high spirits rangers" Xi's voice came over the intercom, " Unfortunately it will take a few days to get the ship ready to run, but we are safe here in orbit" Xi continued.
