The peace and tranquillity was ruined when Kimberly appear in the common room and grunted a hello. She flopped down face first on one of the sofas and lay there unmoving for a few seconds. The red and yellow rangers looked at each other in confusion and slowly crept over to their team mate. "Erm Kimberly is everything ok?" Trini asked. The blue ranger mumbled a response but it was muffled by the sofa cushions. "Sorry you're gonna have to speak up".

Kimberly rolled over slowly, "Kat", she groaned, "it's all her fault".

Jason furrowed his brow, "Who's Kat?" he asked," is she one of Zedd's forces?"

"Used to be ", Kimberly replied as she slowly sat up, "she's my replacement as the pink ranger".

"Oh right", Jason replied, still not really sure what the point was.

"This is like the third day in a row Kim", Trini said to the blue ranger.

Kimberly sighed and pulled out her hair tie, letting her long black hair loose, "Tell me about it", she began, "She's threatening to reveal that im a Power Ranger".

Flashback 4 days ago, Angel Grove Mall

Entering the photo booth, Kimberly adjusted the seat and placed a few coins into the machine. Just as she was getting ready to take the first photo, she heard a sudden scream come from inside the mall. Peaking out the booth, she noticed that several putties had entered the mall.

Looking around he noticed that everyone was more interested in escaping than watching who was inside the photo booth. Making a quick decision Kimberly activated her morpher and called, "It's Morphin Time, Omega Water Power". In a flash of light she had morphed and jumped out of the photo booth with her Omega Trident in hand. The putties were caught off guards and the ones near the photo booth were quickly dispatched.

Chasing after the remaining footsoldiers, Kimberly failed to notice that the photo booth had taken her pictures during her morph. She also didn't notice that Kat had been near the booth when the putties attacked. She pulled the photos out of the machine and gasped when she saw the evidence of Kimberly morphing into the blue ranger. She looked around nearby and a devious smile appeared on her face.

Present day

"So you're getting blackmailed" Trini replied incredulously.

"Ever since that day she won't leave me alone", Kim groaned. "Its the whole give up your powers or i will reveal your secret to the world, I'm totally exhausted". Kimberly looked up and noticed that Jason was laughing to himself, "What's so funny?"

"I find it funny this is what Zordon has resorted to", he replied,

"it was one of the most important rules that we were given when we first got our powers". Kimberly answered

"Well there's no one here to take your powers away from you", Jason stated, he smiled and walked towards the bridge

"He does make a good point", Trini replied, "I find it hard to believe Zordon ok'd this".

Before the yellow ranger could continue, Kimberly's cell phone began to ring, "If this is her,". She looked at the caller ID and saw it was Billy, "Hey Billy" she answered. Her expression turned to confusion as Billy began speaking, "I don't understand ". Kimberly sat upright on the sofa, "Taken, by who?" By now the blue ranger was on her feet, "Don't worry I'm sure the Omega Rangers can handle it".

"What's going on?" Trinia asked.

"One of Zedd's monsters kidnapped Kat", Kimberly said, "probably because it heard me taking to her about being a ranger". She grabbed a jacket from a nearby chair and called out to the bridge, "Jason we've got trouble", not waiting for a response Kimberly teleported, her fellow rangers close behind her.

Angel Grove Communications Tower

On a hill overlooking the city stood a tall silver communications tower which provided television and telephone signals to the city below. Standing at an access panel near the tower was an orange robotic lizard. The frill around his neck was stylized to look like a satellite dish. He was frantically typing something into the keyboard that was inside the access panel. Tied onto one of the stanchions was Kat, the monster had kidnapped her because he thought she could give him information on the Power Rangers.

"Now that should route all incoming information into me", the monster, Datascammer, said to himself, "soon Rita will have access to any incoming communications into Angel Grove".

"What about me?" Kat cried as she struggled against her bonds. Unable to reach her morpher on her belt buckle

Datascammer approached the girl menacingly, "Well you've got some very important information about the Power Rangers. You did say that you knew them personally".

"I'm not telling you anything".

The monster smiled, "I do have ways of making you talk", the dish around his neck began to glow and Kat leaned as far away as she could.

"Get away from her you monster", Kimberly called out. She charged towards the monster with her trident in hand. With a wild swing she sliced the monster across his chest, knocking him away from Kat.

Jason is Sword to slice through the ropes and Kat flopped forwards. Zack leapt forward and caught her before she hit the ground, "You guys you came", she said and hugged the black ranger tightly. "I thought you'd still be mad at me for forcing you to hand your powers over"

"Of course we came Kat", Kimberly replied, "but the blackmailing has to stop alright?"

Kat sniffed, "Alright", the moment though was interrupted by Datascammer firing a blast in their direction. Kimberly shielded Kat from the worst of the blast. Zack returned fire with his Omega Krunei, knocking the monster on to his back.

Jason looked around and saw something near the access panel, "looks like he placed something in the tower, Kim can you disable it?" The blue ranger nodded and headed over to the tower.

"Oh no you don't", Datascammer called out, "no one interferes with my data gathering". He was about to fire a blast at the blue ranger but he was stopped by Zack slicing his krunei across his stomach. Jason drove his Omega Sword hard into the ribs of the monster, giving his team mate time to deactivate the data skimmer. The red and black rangers combined well to keep the monster at bay, alternating slashes with their weapons. Datascammer roared in pain and kicked out at the two rangers, knocking them on their back.

Trini summoned her Omega Hammer " Time to bring the hammer down" she said, she swung as the monster, however, Datascammer was ready for her. He reflected the attack back at the three rangers, sparks flew off their suits as they crumpled to the ground.

"Ok so that didn't work", Trini choked out. The monster was prevented from attacking by a burst of blue energy that slammed into his chest. Datascammer collapsed to the ground as Kimberly met up with her friends.

"Did you stop Datascammer's transmission?" Jason asked.

Kimberly nodded,

"You rangers are going to pay for that", Datascammer cried as he struggled back to his feet.

"You're going to pay for kidnapping Kat" Kimberly replied, she almost snatched the other rangers weapons from their hands and combined them. The rangers fired off a blast of energy at the monster who fell to the ground and exploded.

"Well that's another one down", Trini said to the others, "come on let go find Kat".

"Kat?" Zack asked, "as in the chick we just saved?"

Jason grasped the black ranger's shoulder, "Oh have we got a story to tell you".
