Chapter 3 LAW: Highway To Hell Part 1
Now that they could finally pass they made their way to the entrance to Camp Ichigaya. However there was a spirit blocking the entrance.
"I knew you'd come here, Kalki.", the spirit said as Flynn tensed.
"You're a Death General.", Flynn replied.
"That's right. As Doomking predicted you have returned from the White World.", the spirit replied as Flynn raised his gauntlet.
"Go ahead. I will deal with this fellow.", Flynn said as he looked serious.
"Stay safe.", Isabeau replied.
"I will do more than that. I'll defeat this fellow and return to you guys soon.", Flynn said as the others ran ahead.
"You really have been quite difficult, Kalki. If my Master has returned Tokyo wouldn't be like this.", the spirit replied.
"Yeah it would be full of undead.", Flynn replied.
"Duel!", the two said.
Zelenin dispelled some sort of barrier blocking their entry before they continued. The others minus Zelenin looked stunned to see the inside of Camp Ichigaya had transformed into a palace. It was full of many doors which seemed to transport them to extremely similar rooms.
"It seems Lucifer is trying to delay us.", Zelenin said.
"How are we supposed to know where to go?", Jonathan questioned as he opened up a door.
They looked around at the many doors that looked the same, confused by how similar everything looked.
"The room we're in right now has three chests instead of the other one. So, going by that we basically need to memorize which doors we've gone through in the two rooms.", Isabeau said.
"Very clever…I believe we've already gone through these two doors.", Zelenin said as she pointed at the two doors on the top floor.
"Then, how about this door?", Jonathan said as he opened one of the other doors.
With Flynn…

"I shall tune Plaguespreader Zombie and Photon Thrasher! Cerulean beast that prowls through the night! Here's some prey for you to dine on! Synchro summon! Level 6! Celestial Wolf Lord, Blue Sirius!", Flynn chanted.
"At least his field won't be completely devastating this turn. It gives me a chance.", Immortal Dragon thought.
"I shall activate the effect of Plaguespreader Zombie allowing me to return a card from my hand to the top of the deck to special summon it from the graveyard.", Flynn said.

"I shall tune Plaguespreader Zombie and Blue Sirius! Majestic dragon, awaken from your long slumber your power is needed once again to protect the innocent! Spread your brilliant silver wings and strike down your enemies like a vibrant shooting star! Synchro summon! Level 8! Stardust Dragon!", Flynn chanted.
Stardust Dragon hissed at the Death General.
"I shall activate Monster Reborn to revive Blue Sirius.", Flynn said.

"Then, I shall set a card and end my turn.", Flynn said.

"I will tune Plaguespreader Zombie and Zombie Master to synchro summon myself! The undying dragon! Immortal Dragon!", Immortal Dragon said.
He entered the field as Flynn looked serious.

Effect: During your Main Phase: You can send 1 Zombie monster from your Deck to your GY, and if you do, this card's Level becomes the difference in the original Levels of that monster and this card. When your Zombie monster is destroyed by battle, while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of "Immortal Dragon" once per turn.
Flynn's eyes widened when he realized he was a Synchro tuner.
"I will activate my effect allowing me to send a zombie monster from my deck to the grav-", Immortal Dragon was saying.
"Not so fast! I activate the effect of Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring! I can discard her to negate an effect that would send a card to the graveyard! Mischievous Kitsune Prank!", Flynn countered as he pointed.

You can only use this effect of "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring" once per turn.
Ash appeared as a puff of smoke and wagging her tail in front of the Death General confusing him greatly. She used this to hide a pie she pulled out and promptly slapped into his face.
"I got you!", Ash laughed as she pointed at the annoyed Immortal Dragon.
She then blew a raspberry before the zombie dragon swiped at her. Before he could hit her she disappeared in a puff of smoke.
With the others…
They finally found a room that didn't transport them somewhere else. There they found a spirit waiting for them.
"I shall deal with this spirit. Go on and find a room that leads somewhere else.", Jonathan said as he faced the spirit.
"So…you think you can defeat a general of Lucifer like me, son of man?", the spirit questioned.
"Oh course! I shall defeat any spirit that stands between us and Lucifer!", Jonathan declared.
"Hmm…this is the only door in this room that leads to another. So, there must be one in the other room.", Zelenin said.
With Flynn…
"I will set a card and end my turn…", Immortal Dragon growled as he tried to clean his face.

Effect: "Zombie World" in the Field Zone cannot be destroyed by card effects, also neither player can target it with card effects. (Quick Effect): You can banish this card from your field or GY; activate 1 "Zombie World" directly from your hand or Deck. You can only use this effect of "Necroworld Banshee" once per turn.
Necroworld Banshee looked annoyed that Flynn was facing yet another Death General. Flynn sweat dropped seeing her annoyance before coughing awkwardly.
"I shall attack you with Stardust Dragon!", Flynn declared.
"I will activate my trap Mirror Force to destroy all your monsters!", Immortal Dragon countered.
"I shall activate the effect of Stardust Dragon tributing him to protect my monsters from destruction! Victims Sanctuary!", Flynn countered.
Stardust Dragon flew in front of his monsters protecting them from the reflected blast.
"Then I shall end my turn. During the end phase Stardust Dragon returns! Arise, Stardust Dragon!", Flynn said.
"For Doomking! I draw!", Immortal Dragon said.

"I will activate my effect to send a zombie monster from my deck to the graveyard. When I do it's level is subtracted from my own. I choose Mezuki.", Immortal Dragon said.

Flynn watched the effect intently seeing it was very useful.
"When I win I want your card.", Flynn said.
"Don't get too confident now, Kalki. I will set a monster and end my turn.", Immortal Dragon said.
"I draw!", Flynn said as a fierce wind blew and a chorus ghostly roars was heard.

Flynn smirked seeing the card he drew.
"Final turn!", Flynn declared.
"You can't be serious!?", Immortal Dragon gasped in disbelief.
"I shall activate Pot of Greed allowing me to draw two cards!", Flynn said.

"I shall summon Plaguespreader Zombie and tune him with Necroworld Banshee! From the dark depths of the grave arise, great dragon noble even in death! Your dreadful roar signals your enemies doom! Synchro summon! Level 6! Doomkaiser Dragon!", Flynn chanted.

The Death General looked nervous seeing Doomkaiser.
"I shall revive your Mezuki with his effect! Roar of the Living Dead! I shall banish Necroworld Banshee from my graveyard to allow me to play Zombie World straight from my deck! Melody of Souls!" , Flynn questioned with an evil smirk that made him very nervous.

(Field Spell)
Effect: All monsters on the field and in the GYs become Zombie monsters. Neither player can Tribute Summon monsters, except Zombie monsters.
"I shall activate Plaguespreader Zombie's effect resurrecting him! I shall then tune him with Blue Sirius! Pious dragon, fallen and abandoned into the depths of the netherworld arise once more! Your ferocious power shines through even in death! Synchro summon! Level 8! Skeletal Dragon Felgrand!", Flynn chanted.
Felgrand glared at Flynn for sending him against his fellow Death General.
"I shall activate the effect of Skeletal Dragon Felgrand to banish your facedown monster! Necroclaw of the Undead!", Flynn declared.
"Don't listen to him Felgrand!", Immortal Dragon pleaded as he sweated intensely.
"I'm sorry…! Kalki's power is so strong…", Felgrand replied, before he swiped away the facedown.
Flynn was very glad to see he just banished Pyramid Turtle.
"I shall attack you with Stardust Dragon! Cosmic Flare!", Flynn declared.
The beam sent the zombie dragon flying and off the field.
"Then, I shall attack you directly with Felgrand! Phantasmal Ghastly Roar!", Flynn declared.

Flynn narrowed his eyes at Felgrand's struggle not feeling sympathetic in the slightest since he did the same thing to Joseph. His eyes appeared red briefly at the thought.
"I shall activate my trap Assault Mode Activate!", Flynn declared as Immortal Dragon paled.

Effect: Tribute 1 Synchro Monster; Special Summon 1 "/Assault Mode" monster, whose name includes the Tributed monster's name, from your Deck in Attack Position.
"An unbreakable bond surpassing death gives way to a new power! Arise, true emperor! Reborn again in the flames of the underworld! Assault summon! Level 10! Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode!", Flynn chanted.
Immortal Dragon was stunned as Doomkaiser underwent his transformation.

(ZOMBIE/FIRE/EFFECT/ATK 2900/DEF 2000/LV8)
Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Assault Mode Activate". When this card is Special Summoned, Special Summon any number of Zombie-Type monsters from either player's Graveyard(s) to your side of the field. Those monsters' effects are negated, and they are destroyed during the End Phase this turn. When this card on the field is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Doomkaiser Dragon" from your Graveyard.
"I shall activate his effect allowing me to special summon any number of zombie monsters from either graveyard! I choose Doomkaiser Dragon! Night Parade of a Hundred Revenants!", Flynn said.
The monsters arose over onto Flynn's field as he continued his assault.
"Okay…this is just vindictive, Kalki…You really are alike…", Immortal Dragon said as Flynn glared.
"I am nothing like Doomking! I shall attack you directly with Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode! Night Emperor Howling!", Flynn declared.
Immortal Dragon was enveloped by the purple flames which completely overwhelmed him.

Flynn restrained the urge to continue attacking simply leaving things as they were. He strode over to the Death General holding out his hand.
"Your card.", Flynn demanded, not feeling any respect for a Death General.
Immortal Dragon reluctantly gave up his card to Flynn before he faded away.
With the others…
The woman opened up a door in the other room finding another spirit. Isabeau raised her gauntlet when she saw the spirit.
With Jonathan…
"Duel!", the two said.

The cards sent were: Solemn Wishes and Wulf.
"I shall use Wulf's effect to special summon him! Then I shall tune Raiden and Wulf! Holy dragon from the heavenly skies! Bless us with your light of salvation! Level 8! Light End Dragon!", Jonathan chanted.

"Then, I shall activate Swords of Revealing Light and set a card.", Jonathan said.

"I shall end my turn.", Jonathan said.
"For Lucifer! I draw!", Desire said.

"A son of man like you who has given yourself to order doesn't stand a chance against me. Through submitting yourself to order you have surrendered your ability to evolve. That's why I despise order in every form and sow seeds of chaos within humanity.", Desire said.
"Your wrong. I haven't surrendered myself at all. I'm still me and I still have further room to grow.", Jonathan replied.
Desire gazed into Jonathan's eyes seeing fire in them.
"Usually those serving G.O.D. have cold lifeless stares devoid of passion. You are a bizarre anomaly, son of man. I will activate Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen.", Desire said.

"I shall use its effective to send the top three cards of my deck to my graveyard and it gains 500 attack for each.", Jonathan said.

"Wulf's effect activates allowing me to special summon him. Then I shall attack you with Wulf.", Jonathan declared.
"I will activate my trap Negate Attack to stop your attack!", Desire countered.

"I shall activate the effect of Lightsworn Sabre. When it's sent from my deck to the graveyard I can equip it to one Lightsworn monster I control. I choose Wulf.", Jonathan said.

"Then, I shall activate Pot of Avarice allowing me to shuffle five monsters from my graveyard into my deck and then draw two cards.", Jonathan said.

Effect: Target 5 monsters in your GY; shuffle all 5 into the Deck, then draw 2 cards.
He shuffled back Honest, Raiden, Light End Dragon, Ryko, and Wulf.
"I shall activate Charge of the Light Brigade allowing me to add a Lightsworn monster from my deck to my hand then send three cards from the top of my deck to the graveyard. I choose Lumina.", Jonathan said.
The cards sent were: Golden Bamboo Sword, Glow-Up Bulb, and Raiden.
"I shall summon Lumina.", Jonathan said.

"I shall activate her effect allowing me to discard a card to special summon a level 4 or lower Lightsworn monster from my graveyard. I choose Raiden.", Jonathan sang.

"Your assembling quite the force.", Desire commented.
"This is just the beginning. I shall activate Raiden's effect to send two cards from the top of my deck to the graveyard.", Jonathan said.
The cards sent were: Card Destruction and Wulf.
"Now, I have another Wulf! Then, I shall tune Raiden with Lumina! The lost angel has returned to answer the prayers of the weak! He is Heaven's greatest champion! Synchro summon! Level 7! Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn!", Jonathan chanted.
Desire glared at the angel with unparalleled hatred and the angel narrowed his eyes as he raised his blade.

Effect: Once per turn: You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 card on the field; banish that target. When this card is destroyed: You can target any number of other "Lightsworn" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle them into the Deck, and if you do, you gain 300 LP for each returned card. Once per turn, during your End Phase: Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.
"I shall activate his effect by paying 1000 life points to banish one card on the field! I choose you! Thunder of God!", Jonathan said.

Lightning shot from Michael's sword sending Desire flying back.
"N-no! I will not lose to a pawn of G.O.D.!", Desire said.
"I shall attack you directly with Wulf!", Jonathan declared.
"I will activate the effect of my Necro Gardna banishing it to negate your attack!", Desire countered.

Effect: During your opponent's turn: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate the next attack this turn from a monster your opponent controls (this is a Quick Effect).
"Then, I shall attack you with my second Wulf!", Jonathan declared.

"Then, I shall attack you with Michael! Blade of God!", Jonathan declared.
Desire screamed in pain he was swiped at by the angels place. The spirit disappeared fading into particles. The area around them shook slightly.

Michael looked around feeling something.
"Something in the air has changed. It seems defeating Lucifer has affected this palace somehow.", Michael said.
With Flynn…
He slipped the Death General's card into his extra deck as he walked into the palace. His attention was drawn when he saw Jonathan walk out of a door on the first floor.
"Where's Isabeau and Zelenin?", Flynn asked.
"We split up to face Lucifer's generals lurking in this palace.", Jonathan replied.
Flynn turned forward determined to find the two. Suddenly he had a strange feeling like someone he knew was struggling.
Somewhere else…
Gina could barely stay on her feet as she had her gauntlet raised up against a figure obscured in shadow.
