Warframe Beyond the Origin
ESKK: Well, here we are Chapter 6 and in turn the beginning of a new ark. Anyway, let's get this started.
(Start the Stalker Location Unknown)
The Shadow Stalker had been summoned by an unknown force to a system unknown to it. But it had heeded the call by orders of Hunhow who even now continued to die trapped in his prison of water and stone. Stalker began to climb the steps to Hunhow after being summoned by the Sentient. In his hand was the severed head of a Warframe as he approached Hunhow. "Who destroyed the Orokin? You're way of life?" The Sentient that stood before him began as he greeted the Stalker. "Who do you hunt Shadow, to cleanse your despair in their blood?" The Sentient of unknown origins asked as he had a task for this Shadow.
"Tenno!" Stalker said as he held the head of the Warframe up to this massive Sentient for him and all of the Sentient to see. He then dropped the head as it rolled to the sword in the stone that served as this Sentient's eyes and ears to the outside world. This particular Sentient was not trapped like Hunhow was but was smart and opted for a more cautious method of attack.
"We are in a place beyond the Origin and beyond Tau. I seek to learn what my enemies our enemies the Tenno have discovered here what names have they made for themselves." The Sentient said as Stalker looked to it. "I am but the eyes and ears but you Stalker shall be my body my legs to roam with my arms to fight with." The Sentient said as soon the weapon released energy endowing Stalker with Sentient armor similar to when Hunhow was equipped to him.
"Who?" The Stalker asked as he looked to the Sentient before him.
"I am Somnus Sentient Destroyer of Will." The now identified Somnus announced as the sword freed itself and went to Stalker's waiting hand. "By your hand expose to me the knowledge of this War of metal and flesh." Somnus said as Stalker then took the sword in hand. "By my edge... forge a river of Tenno Blood." Somnus said and thus it was clear
(Scene Break Several Days Later Coruscant)
A ship from Pantora was coming in for a landing after travelling from Pantora to Coruscant. With recent events things in the war had begun to calm down now that the Tenno had been aiding the Republic in the fight. Still with the war still raging maybe the Tenno can calm things down enough for a peaceful resolution to be explored. That was why Senator Riyo Chuchi was here for her and her allies in the Senate to attempt to convince the Senate as a whole to open peaceful dialogue with the Separatists.
As she climbed down the ramp Riyo Chuchi went to meet with her escort who would ferry her to her apartment. Leading them was of course Padme and her allies. "Welcome Senator Chuchi." Padme greeted as Chuchi nodded. "I'm happy to have your vote on this." Padme said knowing full well that every vote helped in convincing the Senate to open peaceful negotiations.
"Of, course I am more than happy to see an end to this tiresome conflict." Riyo said as the Pantoran was willing to do what she can to end this war.
"Of course, now first thing that should be done is to." Padme began only for Riyo's ship to suddenly explode catching everyone by surprise when it happened. Panic set in as the fire of what was once a ship burned while people were regrettably caught in the blast. Looking to the source Riyo was shocked over this as that could easily have been her in the fire. But then she saw something in the fire that caught her attention. Among the flames was a holographic image of a symbol unfamiliar to her. But for Padme knowing Akin she saw the symbol was very familiar because it matched up to a few symbols or Glyphs that the Tenno use as part of their call signs and badges of honor.
"We need to go now." Bail said as he knew if they didn't leave the would-be assassin would no doubt try and finish the job on his target or targets.
(Scene Break Chancellors Office the next day)
Needless to say, the attempt on Senator Chuchi's life spread like wildfire and thus Padme, Mace Windu, Yoda, and Riyo Chuchi were gathered in the Chancellors office. "On a Senator an attack most concerning at this point in time it is." Yoda said as they had been discussing the attempt on the Pantoran Senators life.
"But who would possibly stand to gain from the Senators death?" Padme asked as she found this of great concern.
"Perhaps she was not the intended target?" Palpatine offered as he looked to the Senator of Naboo.
"Perhaps... or perhaps she was to be made as a message." Windu said as he then pulled up the image that was left behind. "This Sigil is our only clue of the assassin's identity." Windu said and thus Yoda opted to speak up.
"Perhaps some light, our mysterious allies may shed they can." Yoda said as he had gone ahead to contact the Tenno. Yes, they agreed to avoid contacting them for a time, but this sigil may be one they know of.
Just then Palpatine's holo communicator activated from his desk. "Your excellency you have a group of guests they say they are expected." A Twi'lek said as she looked to the Senator.
"Good send them in." Palpatine ordered his assistant and thus not long after the door began to open revealing the Tenno walking in using their go to Warframes this time around. "Ah Tenno it is good to see you all again." Palpatine greeted as he saw the Tenno here.
"Thank you, your excellency you honor us." Zed greeted as he looked to the Chancellor. "My apologies for skipping any pleasantries but what is the purpose of your contacting us?" Zed asked and thus Windu held up the sigil.
"This." Windu said as the Tenno all jumped as they instantly recognized it. "We were hoping you might shed some light on this sigil but judging by your reaction I would assume that is correct." Windu said and thus Zed nodded to the Jedi Master.
"Yes, the sigil belongs to the Stalkers an order of Assassins with an extreme grudge against the Tenno." Zed explained as he looked to the Sigil. "Though most of the times they only answer to two sorts of people... one those who hire them to hunt us down when one of our missions wrecks their operations severely so in that regard Corpus and Grineer mostly." Zed said as he looked to the Sigil.
"And the other?" Chuchi asked as she looked to the Tenno with Concern.
"Sentient." Zed said plainly and thus the Jedi understood as much. "They have more or less the same abilities as we Tenno do but we don't know where they came from or why they despise us so." Zed said as the tone showed he was honestly lost on this Stalker's actions. "More so I don't understand why they would target you, Senator." Zed added and in turn it was clear that if Riyo Chuchi was in fact the target then she was in danger.
"We recommend she be assigned a guard detail for the time being at least until we can track down the Stalker." Aya said as she looked to the Chancellor and the Jedi.
"Unable to sense the Tenno we are." Yoda began as he got the groups attention. "If this Stalker is the same provide protection we cannot." Yoda said as he knew they would be unable to sense something that could not be sensed with the Force.
"Then perhaps we should employ these Tenno to protect the Senator at least until the danger has passed." Palpatine said as he looked to the Tenno.
"Assuming that she is the target." Titus said as he looked to the group.
"And regardless, if she is or not the danger won't pass so easily the Stalkers are relentless nothing, but death will stop them from hunting their target." Zed said as the Tenno spoke from personal experience. "If you have need of our protection then we will offer it for our normal fee." Zed said as the Jedi understood.
"I've heard you've only taken food, medicine, and provisions as payment." Palpatine said as Zed nodded to this.
"Yeah, it's mainly for those less fortunate in our home system." Zed said and thus Riyo understood as much.
"It seems I will be in your care Tenno." Riyo said and thus it was clear she was in agreement on this.
(Later that day Riyo's Coruscant Apartment)
The group arrived at Senator Chuchi's Coruscant Apartment a modest living space from what the Tenno could see. "Please have a seat." Riyo offered as the Tenno all sat down on the offered chairs. "Do any of you have any idea why the Stalker would target me specifically?" The Pantoran Senator asked as she was clearly worried about this.
"We're unsure if we are being honest, Senator." Zed admitted to the worried Senator. "Apologies for this but we also had Aya do some research on you and from what we gathered you don't seem the sort that would intentionally anger the Stalker." Zed said as he and Akin sat cross from Senator Chuchi.
"At this point it's a waiting game and those are the worse." Mari said and thus Aya saw the concern Riyo Chuchi had.
"But don't worry we're here to protect you just remain calm and let us do our job." Aya said putting a comforting hand on Chuchi's who nodded in response.
"Thank you." Chuchi said and thus stood up. "Pardon me but I am in need of a drink." Riyo said and thus left to get some refreshments.
"Alright then let's get to work." Zed said and thus they looked to each other. "Check anything the Stalker can use as an insertion point, and keep your eyes peeled around doors and windows you never know when he will strike." Zed said and thus with a nod Titus, Mari, and Aya all went to start looking for the Stalker.
"Heh look at us mercenaries to Senatorial secret service bet the Orokin are rolling in their graves seeing this." Akin said as Zed nodded to this.
"Heh I'd pay to see that." Zed responded before Akin looked over to where Riyo had walked off to.
"Hey... question do you think Senator Chuchi has an open mind?" Akin asked as he looked to Zed with curiosity.
"Why do you ask?" Zed asked looking to Akin and thus put the pieces together. "Wait Akin you just met her and while I do hope she has an open mind you need to remember she's a Senator if she's seen having romantic relations with you when you look half her age it could cause both us and her a whole heap of trouble." Zed warned knowing full well pedophilia was frowned upon even by the Orokin.
"Oh, come on don't be a kill joy." Akin complained but Zed just sighed in response.
"Akin I'm not telling you this as your leader I'm telling you this as your friend and your brother... just be careful if you pursue this." Zed warned knowing that he, can't stop Akin from doing this if he is set on it.
"I understand." Akin said as he was just thankful not to be a Jedi since they weren't allowed to have attachments unlike the Tenno.
(Scene Break that Evening)
The Stalker stood upon a ledge as he glared at the scene that had occurred. "It would seem the Tenno have taken the bait my friend." Somnus said as he watched the event that had occurred.
"Now?" Stalker rasped as he wanted to know what their next move was.
"Now we rattle the nest." Somnus said and thus Stalker nodded and got his Bow, Dread, ready for the next part of their plan.
(Back at Riyo's Apartment)
The Senator was preparing for bed as she had performed all her evening rituals. Of course, she either did one of two things before bed which were finish up any last bits of work and if not read a novel before sleep. Right now, the Tenno were out on the balcony as they observed the city beyond deep in thought.
"So, anyone want to say it, or should I?" Mari finally asked as she looked to her fellows. Titus and Aya opted to head back into the Apartment as Riyo Chuchi was reading a book while in a night gown. "Fine I'll say it I don't like this mission." Mari said as this got Zed and Akin's attention.
"How come?" Zed asked wanting to hear her reasoning.
"She's a politician ok and I don't trust those." Mari said as she knew how they tend to be, self-serving and filled with dirty secrets.
"Still thinking about the Orokin?" Zed asked as he looked to Mari.
"How can I not, those bastards took everything from us. We lost our parents because of them, we lost our families because of them, and no matter what we tried to do they kept taking from us." Mari said as she knew the pain of less well.
"Mari if this is about the massacre." Zed began but Mari cut him off on this.
"It's not we've been exploring these systems for a good while now and there are too many similarities between here and the Orokin that just rub me the wrong way." Mari said as she didn't want to deal with another version of the Orokin not after Ballas not after what he did.
"I'm sorry..." Zed said which Akin knew why he said it.
"Zed it wasn't your fault." Akin said but Zed cut him off.
"Yes, it was Akin. If I didn't choke back, then if I had gone after Ballas when I had so many chances to take him out..." Zed said as he knew why he choked. Ballas tricked him twice in a row and played them all like a fiddle. But Zed should have seen it coming he should have known that monster and Erra were in league with each other during the New War. But no Ballas played on his pain and compassion to build the Paracises for him. That was not even the worse of it for Akin because while he was stuck in the Void the Drifter was covering for him without any Void Powers to aid them.
Drifter thankfully managed to find his friends while he was playing Gorilla, Warfare but they were more or less in terrible states when he did. He found Mari first as some pleasure slave for Narmer and her 'master/handler,' had a sick pleasure of making his favorites suffer hence why she didn't have a veil but was trapped in a Corpus Anti Void shield. When he got her back to the camp, she was in too vulnerable of a state to help and thus had Ordis look after her. On several occasions she was by the river desperately washing her body almost in a panic showing just how horrible it was for her.
He later found Aya about to be Veiled and had narrowly escaped an Archon on Earth. Titus was already veiled and forced back into his family roots as a builder but unlike before he was nearly worked to death. Akin was the only one still fighting and was found on Mars using the old Temple of Inaros as his base of operations when the Drifter was hunting down the Archons to heal the Lotus and bring her back. Zed considered it his biggest failure he choked at the worst of times and the entire Sol System was made to suffer for his weakness.
Thankfully they managed to regain their strength get on the Railjack and help Zed face Ballas one more time to finish what they had started. In the end it was Lotus who struck down Ballas once and for all ending the war that had taken so much from them. But after the New War the Tenno were never the same again. Zed only learned of his friends' situations after the fact when he had Ordis update him on what he missed while the Drifter covered for him.
Even after the fact Lotus was adamant of consoling the Tenno as best, she could not only for their sake but her own as well. They were her children and she had allowed them to be harmed in ways she could not even begin to imagine. Zed still felt responsible for all of it because while he was trapped in the Void again the Drifter had to pick up his slack.
"Zed, you need to stop blaming." Akin began when he saw something in the distance. He looked to it and then behind him before going wide eyed to this. "Get down!" Akin yelled and in turn pushed Riyo down just in time to avoid her getting her head sliced off by an arrow aimed for her neck.
Mari looked to the source and zoomed in and saw the familiar figure of the Stalker standing there with Sentient armor on. "There he is!" Mari called out and thus saw the Stalker trying to escape into the night.
"Aya Titus secure the area, Mari contact Republic Security, Akin do what you do best and catch up with me!" Zed ordered and thus jumped off the ledge before summoning his Archwing. Once the Archwing was active he chased after Stalker who began to run away from the scene.
(With Zed)
Zed flew after the Stalker as he managed to mark him and thus was able to track him within a set perimeter. As Zed flew after his target he weaved through oncoming traffic as he knew the Stalker was using said traffic to hold him off a bit. But this doesn't make sense the Stalker would face them head-to-head at best or attack from the shadows he'd never run from a fight unless he lost said fight. Something wasn't right and Zed had every intention of finding out what it was.
(Meanwhile with Akin)
Akin meanwhile was doing the unexpected he was getting an air speeder. Using his Parazon once he boarded it and was easily able to activate the vehicle. Once that was done, he began to drive off to where Zed had flown off to in order to catch up to him.
(With Stalker)
The plan was going down without a hitch as Stalker saw Zed was coming his way. Knowing what to do he took out his bow, Dread, and began to take aim with it as he had an Arrow notched up. He then waited for an air speeder to start passing him by and then fired off the arrow. The Arrow flew strong and true as it managed to fly through a gap between the speeder and its cargo. The arrow managed to hit Zed's Archwing in a sensitive spot and thus forced him off it where he then hit the truck and began free falling to the ground.
Nodding to his handwork Stalker saw a parked Speeder a man was starting to board and walked over to it. He grabbed the man by his neck as a woman nearby screamed in shock and fear before throwing the man aside. He then boarded the speeder and began to drive off while leaving a small trail for his foes to follow.
(Meanwhile with Akin)
Akin headed in the area where Zed was chasing the Stalker, then suddenly he saw a familiar Warframe that was free falling for some reason, as he flew over and downwards towards zed, as the umbra user saw the speeder with Akin in it, he reach out to grab it and pull himself in before Akin pull up and keep on going straight as Zed said, "What took you, and what are you using a speeder?"
"Well in the reverse of things, I always wanted to drive a speeder, as now it seems like more of a good idea if the Stalker can shoot us down," Akin said as Zed ask, "And the 2nd?"
"I was trying to find a speeder I like and one that could do well with speed and maneuvers," Akin said as Zed groin a bit while rolling his eyes, or at least he would be if he wasn't using his Warframe as he looked around and saw his mark still as he said, "He's over there, follow!"
"Got him marked. Also, I'm doing what you usually tell me what you always tell me to do," Akin said as he followed after the Stalker while Zed asked, "And what's that?"
"Be unpredictable," Akin said as Zed give a small laugh at that as he soon said, "I did say that didn't I?"
Soon enough the two were catching up to the Stalker as they chase him throughout the city as the Tenno follow the Stalker into an industrial area where flames were shooting up from with Akin suddenly said, "For some reason I am getting a weird sense of Déjà vu."
"Did your Déjà vu told you that we would catch the Stalker anytime soon before we get roasted?" Zed asked as they were soon flying side to side to avoid the flames as they keep chasing the Stalker.
Soon coming to a power line, the Stalker stood up and pull out his daggers, Despair and in turn got ready to throw them. Once he got close, he threw them before returning his task. Thus, driving pass the power line which soon spark out again and cause a reaction making it shoot electricity out as the Tenno saw this as Zed said, "Watch where your- "
Before he could finish Akin drive through it as both Warframe got a jolt of electricity flowing through them with the Feedback as well as Zed felt it while said in pain, "THIS IS WHY I'M THE BEST FLYER!"
Akin did say a thing as he just yelp out in pain as he felt the electricity flow through his entire Warframe with the feedback as well before they pass through it, and soon settle down as Zed's head twitch a bit as he said, "Now I'm g-going to feel that f-for a week."
"Wasn't t-that bad," Akin said as he was twitching in parts as well as he kept flying straight as he could.
AS they keep chasing the Stalker back in a civilian area, the Stalker soon turned down a tunnel way while Akin take off another way as Zed said, "Akin what in the Void are you doing, he went that way?"
"Don't worry, we'll catch up to him soon, and beside this is a short cut… I think," Akin said suddenly as Zed looks at him and ask, "Did your Déjà vu tell that too?"
"Ahh?" Akin said as he didn't know how to answer that as he keep on driving, as Zed keep his eye on his mark as he said, "He's getting too far out, I can't see my mark anymore."
"Don't worry, we're about to be on him again real soon!" Akin said as he was very sure of it as soon enough the dup soon arrived at the area where Akin believe the Stalker would have come to as he soon stopped with Zed giving a disappointed look by his pose as he said, "Great job, we lost him, it was clear that he went the other way."
Akin wasn't listening as he looked over on the speeders down below as he saw his mark coming up as Zed went on saying, "We could have kept following him, we could have-
"Excuse me for a moment!" Akin said as he jumped off the speeder with Zed look over the side and saw where Akin was jumping too as he said, "Maybe I should have said don't always be unpredictable."
(Akin)
The Tenno was free falling for a bit until he deployed his Archwing to fly towards a speeding Speeder while soon landing on it with a loud thud as he landed onto the speeder that the Stalker had jacked as he said, "Tenno!"
Akin pulls out his Dakra Prime as he fought against the Stalker who suddenly drew a heavy blade that a gap in the center with red energy showing in the gap itself between two blades, with the blades parts themselves were angled a bit into a triangle look even to the points and give off the same red energy on the outside edge as well.
The two clashed for a bit, but the Stalker strength and weapon overwhelm Akin for a bit. Soon the Stalker turned the wheel of the speeder he had stolen a bit to cause Akin to close his balance and thus got his weapon knock out of his hands.
Zed who was coming from behind saw The Dakra Prime coming at him as he quickly catches it and set it next to him as he kept following after the speeder Akin and the Stalker were on.
Akin dodge the Stalker attack as he tried to keep himself from being hit by that massive sword, as at the rate they were going, Akin would be in trouble so he did the next best thing while doing what he is good at, being unpredictable.
Akin drew his side arm and took aim at the speeder engine as he fired upon it enough causing the speeder to stall while also it lost altitude.
The Stalker turned his attention back to driving the speeder as he tries to fly it to an area to safely crash in, while Akin held on tight as the speeder came in fast on the street of Coruscant.
People got out of the way as they saw the Speeder and in turn, Akin jumped off and landed safely on the ground. He then saw the Speeder crash and in turn Akin glared at it. As people began to gather, they all yelled in shock when the Stalkers massive blade thrusted forward and thus cut himself out of the wreck. Glaring at his foes the people backed off and thus sheathing his weapon Stalker began to make his way through the crowd.
The Stalker did not like being the prey he was the Hunter, but Somnus said this was needed. For his plan to work they needed to swallow their pride and continue with the mission. Somnus was a strategist by nature he led the Sentient to many victories and if Hunhow had not put all their hopes on his daughter then they would have won the old war. Always plan for every eventuality and Hunhow ignored his advice costing them the war. And if what he heard of Erra was any indication the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Shadow that way quickly." Somnus said as he had Shadow to the club and thus the Stalker followed the order.
Nearby Akin saw the Stalker enter what looked to be a club and in turn chased after him. At least that was Akin's plan before Zed was heard from afar. "Akin wait!" Zed called out as Akin saw Zed approaching him.
"Zed, he went in here!" Akin said as Zed saw it was a club of some sort.
"I know but don't you remember our past confrontations with the Stalker especially when he is enhanced by Sentient Power?" Zed asked as he looked to Akin.
"Yeah, I do it's a coin toss if we beat him or not." Akin said knowing exactly why that was the case.
"We need to be smart about this, our abilities won't work against him, so we have to fight the Stalker the old-fashioned way." Zed said drawing out his sheathed katana. "Which reminds me." Zed added as he then drew the Dakra Prime from his person. "You lose this again Akin, and I'm keeping it." Zed said Akin chuckled and snatched the weapon back.
"Jerk." Akin said as the two began to enter the Club. "Still why hide here we all know he'll stick out like a sore thumb." Akin said as he was wondering why the Stalker was running from them.
"Personally, I'd like to know why he's doing this and why we suddenly terrify him." Zed said as he looked to Akin.
"Well, you did blast him after breaking War in two creating Broken War." Akin said as Zed looked to Akin.
"That was Hunhow I broke in two and it doesn't explain why he's targeting the Senator." Zed said as he then focused too the front. "Let's just find him and..." Zed began and in turn the group were met with a lot of people walking about as they both went wide eyed to this. "So, stick out like a sore thumb, right?" Zed asked as he looked to Akin who shrugged and laughed nervously over possibly jinxing them.
"What do we do now?" Akin asked as they looked around for their target.
"Split up if you find him cause a scene." Zed said as he got ready to move.
"Don't you normally advice against that?" Akin asked as he looked to Zed.
"How else am I supposed to find you?" Zed asked and thus Akin shrugged and in turn they got ready to search. "Oh, and don't talk to anyone remember what we are to others under these." Zed said as he knew if they spoke, they might give themselves away at not belonging here.
"Got it back to silent old Tenno for a bit." Akin said and thus they began their search for the Shadow Stalker.
(With Zed)
Zed walked around for a bit as he made sure to keep his eyes peeled for any trouble. Umbra of course acted as a second set of eyes in case he missed something. The autonomous Warframe had been his go to Warframe for a good deal of time now that the two just sort of clicked. Making his way through the bar Zed knew full well his abilities were useless against the Stalker. He had learned that lesson the hard way after he first met the Stalker on a mission when he had received a cryptic message from him.
As Zed walked through the crowd, he heard a bit of sensual laughter as some of the female patrons tried to approach him but were quickly ignored. No doubt they saw the gold on Umbra's armor and thought he was some sort of high roller. He continued walking as his battle instincts began to kick in further no doubt sensing the danger about ready for anything. Resting his hand on the hilt of his weapon Zed waited for Stalker to make himself known. He closed his eyes under his Warframe and soon at a moment's notice you turned around and Deflected Stalkers Throwing Daggers, Sorrow, and then blocked his new weapon. The sudden movement caused people to notice and thus Zed and Stalker began to fight. The battle got everyone's attention as the swung their weapons that it was a miracle no one was caught by the blades.
This became clear for the patrons to get out as they left the two foes to do battle. The two foes swung their weapons clashing as Zed glared at the new weapon of Sentient based material, he knew for a fact was now the heavy blade known as War. They continued to do battle until Akin charged in firing off his Gorgon Wraith. Once he got close the two sides began to do battle as they tried to overpower the other as Stalker glared at his Tenno foes.
Soon Stalker clashed with Zed and in turn proceeded to push back against him. Glaring at each other Zed knew he was stronger from when he had awoken from the Second Dream. Same for Akin but so too had Stalker as soon pushing Zed back he drew his Scythe, Hate, and clashed it with Akin's weapon. Thus, he glared at the duo before him until a voice the Tenno did not know was heard.
"That is enough, Shadow." Somnus spoke and thus the Tenno were surprised by this. Stalker then backed off as he glared at the Tenno but let it be. "So, at last we meet, Tenno." Somnus said as the two Tenno glared at the Sentient.
"Great did Hunhow have another kid he failed to mention or had a fall out with?" Akin asked as he was about ready to go to Uranus and find Hunhow and tear him a new one.
"Hardly though we were leading our people to war in the Old War." Somnus said as he looked to the Tenno. "Of, course we were forced to fall back when Hunhow had as you humans would say all his eggs in one basket, and it backfired terribly so." Somnus said as Zed glared at him.
"Who are you?" Zed asked ready for anything.
"Somnus." The Sentient Destroyer of Will spoke as he looked to the Tenno. "When the Old War was lost, I had gathered those that I could and made a tactical retreat back to Tau and from what I see... it would appear that something had gone wrong." Somnus said as he made an error in his calculations.
"Great well news flash you guys lost again." Zed said as Somnus looked to the Tenno.
"I know it would seem Hunhow allowed his feelings to cloud logic once more." Somnus said as the way he spoke showed his utter disdain for Hunhow. "But make no mistake I had taken time and effort to calculate and study all of my enemies and while the Origin System has proven to be safely defended by the Tenno... the Jedi and Sith may prove to be a means to tip the balance if I can discover their secrets." Somnus said as the duo heard this.
"Wait what?!" Akin asked shocked when he heard the names of the Jedi used.
'Sith?' Zed wondered as that was the first, he had heard of the term. "Why tell us now? That's just going to make us want to stop you!" Zed countered as he glared at the Sentient.
"That is the point." Somnus said as he looked to the group. "The Jedi will no doubt try to stop me as well once they learned of my intentions my understanding is that the Jedi have been losing favor with the common people so they will no doubt start seeking Force Sensitive Children to protect them from me but in doing so create a larger schism between them and the people." Somnus said detailing what he had discovered. "Furthermore, if they continue to send Jedi after me I will in turn be given more research subjects to decipher the force and in turn make it a weapon against Natah and her beloved Tenno." Somnus said and thus showed that he had put great thought into this.
"Why did you attack Riyo Chuchi?" Akin asked as he wanted answers for that one.
"From my reports if I am to gain certain allies within certain parties removing her may be a beneficial way to earn their trust." Somnus said not even denying this as he also had plans to divide and conquer by the looks of it. But this didn't make it any easy as Somnus entire plan puts them in a hard spot. The Tenno inform the Jedi then yes, many children will be protected but a schism between Jedi and the Republic people will form. Refuse and hundreds of children will be abducted so Somnus could decipher the Force and its workings. "Now that my work here is done deliver my message and see how the Jedi inevitably play into my hands." Somnus said and thus regaining themselves Zed charged in only for Stalker and Somnus to vanish from sight.
Meanwhile Akin shot at Stalker and in turn managed to land a good blow on the Sentient armor that covered the Shadow Stalker.
"Shit." Zed cursed as he realized what this meant for them.
"So... what do we do?" Akin asked as he realized that Stalker and Somnus put them in check. Now it was their turn to try and counteract this Sentient without playing into his hands. This of course included possibly coming clean to the Jedi that the Sentient were still kicking.
"I don't know..." Zed said as he noticed something. "Huh?" Zed hummed as he took greenery off from his Warframe that was not there before.
"Oh, Stalker could NOT have gotten this sort of biological green on Coruscant." Akin said and thus Zed knew it required looking into.
(Scene Break Chancellors Office)
"Oh dear." Palpatine gasped when he was informed of what the Tenno had discovered.
"So, this Somnus wants the Jedi to come after him for Test Subjects?" Mace asked as he, Yoda, and Obi-Wan stood before Palpatine accompanied by Anakin and Ahsoka.
"I'm afraid so." Zed said as Riyo realized what this meant.
"Most troubling this is, but to do what he plans to do he cannot." Yoda said as Obi-Wan nodded in agreement.
"I concur there is no possible way for these Sentient to ever gain the power to use the Force." Obi-Wan said but Titus begged to differ.
"That sounds a bit arrogant." Titus said getting everyone's attention. "If I know one thing is that not everything is impossible because we all say it is." Titus said as he then looked to the Jedi. "You had a Force Sensitive Hutt in your ranks as well as several species who were Force Sensitive that you thought impossible." Titus said as Zed then spoke up.
"It's true we once thought Tenno don't die but..." Zed trailed off as this got the attention of many. "Anyway, If I know one thing that Sentient adapt so he may not be able to use it right now, but I doubt that will be the case for long." Zed said and thus the Jedi knew what Zed was implying here. "The void poisons them, if the Void and the Force are some sort of antithesis to each other who's to say the Force won't have the opposite effect on the Sentient?" Zed asked in a rhetorical form and thus the Jedi knew what Zed was saying.
"So, a plan, have you?" Yoda asked as he knew Zed spoke from experience.
"We need to hunt down Somnus' main body as well as well as learn what we can on him." Zed said as he thought it over. "I have a lead on information about him that my team will investigate. But to hunt him down, seek out information on him, and protect Riyo Chuchi we need to split up our resources." Zed said knowing what this meant for them.
"Akin will continue protecting Senator Chuchi if she will allow it." Zed asked as he looked to the Senator.
"Of course." Riyo said with a nod to Zed.
"To Pantora escort her safe here it is not." Yoda said as Riyo Chuchi was shocked by this.
"But Master Jedi with all due respect." Riyo said but Akin cut in.
"Senator please just trust us on this, the Jedi are unable to sense the Stalker and we have experience with him as well." Akin said as he calmed down Riyo.
"Meanwhile I may have a lead on where Somnus is hiding that I'm going to investigate I'll just need to confer with an expert on botany." Zed said showing what Stalker had unknowingly left on him.
"Very well." Palpatine said and thus Riyo knew she had to return home. "Might I suggest using refugee transport instead of registered to ensure she makes it home intact." Palpatine offered as Akin had an idea on what to do.
"I might have something." Akin said as the group knew what this meant.
"Very well." Palpatine said and thus Zed turned his attention over to the others. "The rest of my team will return to the Origin System we know someone there who's an expert on the Sentient." Zed said and thus with a nod the plan was made.
"Very well." Mace said and thus with the plan made they were all dismissed.
(Later outside)
Akin followed after Riyo as she needed to pack her belongings for the trip. Meanwhile Zed and his remaining teammates stood outside the office as Anakin and Padme began to leave. "Thank the Void we got out of there." Mari gasped suddenly as she looked to the group.
"I agree I don't know why but just being in the same room as that man makes me feel unnerved." Aya said which of course Padme and Anakin heard.
"Um pardon me?" Padme asked as she and Anakin looked to the Tenno.
"Oh, sorry I forgot you were both from Naboo." Titus said as he looked to the hidden couple. "Look no offense but we honestly don't know why but being near that guy makes us feel this chill up our spines we never know why." Titus said as he tried to sooth the two.
"Maybe your just paranoid." Anakin offered refusing to hear anything bad said against the Chancellor.
"Honestly we hope your right bit it's hard to tell if it's just paranoia due to our experience with the Orokin or if we might be on to something." Zed said and thus they began to take their leave of the duo.
(Meanwhile on Yavin)
Deep within the Temple of Yavin something was stirring. A tomb laid buried decorated with gold and stone. Within the crypt a power began to rise as the lid slowly but surely began to open. From within a hand slowly rose and gripped the edge of the coffin. The last thing heard was a howl that carried out for miles as a beast had awoken after centuries of silent peaceful rest.
The Balance has been disturbed and from it this beast had awoken to the Waring Galaxy once more.
