It was just after sunset in Angel Grove and out in the Cranston's backyard, Billy was setting up a telescope. He looked through the lens a few times to check its alignment. Next he plugged a cable into the telescope and wrapped it around the tripod. He ran the cable into a laptop that was set up next to the telescope. He typed in a few commands before activating a program to take images of the sky.

"Hey Billy ", Zack greeted as he and Jason stepped out into the yard, "everything ready to go".

"Sure is" Billy replied, "although I don't understand why you can't just fly up there and search for this space station".

"We don't want Zordon knowing we're back on earth at the moment", Jasom began. "So we've decided to do this the old fashioned way".

"There's nothing old fashioned about this set up", Billy exclaimed, "I wrote this recording program myself".

Zack laughed, "He's just teasing you man". The trio sat in silence for a few minutes, taking it in turns to search a region of space. They had decoded the disk that Doggie had given them and located the missing keycard on a small island just off the coast of Australia. Now all they needed to do was find this orbiting docking station, unfortunately the disk didn't give them a location for this.

"So what's going on with Kimberly", Billy said.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about", Jason replied, not looking up from the telescope.

"Come on Jason we all know Tommy might still love her", Billy replied.

The red ranger looked away from the telescope, "I have noticed, but didnt she send him that letter?", he sighed.

Zack moved in a little closer, "Its another reason we are avoiding the others " Jason looked back into the telescope, "That's fair " Billy says.

"We've got a mission to complete", Jason was able to mumble.

"I hope you guys know what your doing " Billy smiled.

They fell into silence again as Jason and Zack thought about the former blue ranger's comments. He hadn't given much thought since they left Earth and Zordon seemingly on their arses.

"Hey guys", Zack cried, "I think I've got it". He transferred an image onto the laptop, it was a little blurry but it did look like a SPD docking station to Jason. Certainly its identification didn't correspond with anything on Earth.

"Nice work Zack" Jason said, "we'll go at first light".

"I don't think it can wait that long", Billy announced as the girls ran into the yard. "Looks like there's a giant monster attacking the city".

"Which is rude on two counts", Kimberly began, "firstly attacking after dark and they didn't give us a chance to blow it up first".

"We are avoiding the others remember " Trini said

" Ok ", Jason began, "Let's get to the space station and retrieve the Megazord power".

High above Earth

After morphing the Omega rangers teleported to the Spectrum ii. Soon the the rangers came across a black and silver station.

"There is it", Jason began, "Satellite 13." They docked their zords and soon found the airlock and Jason inserted the keycard. After a few seconds the door opened and they stepped inside. After passing through another door the rangers entered the main space station. The lights were dim and it looked like it hadn't been occupied since it had been built. "Alright we have oxygen", Trini stated and removed her helmet. The others following suit, Kimberly shaking her brown hair loose. They tucked their helmets under their arms and walked cautiously through the station.

"This place gives me the creeps", Kim began, "doesn't look like anyone lives here".

"Probably never did", Trini replied, "stations like this are essentially factories. New ships are constructed in orbit and the workers are ferried out to the station each day. No one would ever live out here". Zack pointed to a door on his right, "If this is laid out the same as the stations around KO-35, the Console for the Megazord should be through here".

Jason placed the keycard into a slot next to the door and it swung open. The rangers walked down a narrow corridor until they reached a ladder. Climbing down they soon passed through a hatch and into four small cockpits. They placed their helmets on the consoles before the rangers slipped into their seats. The red ranger inserted the keycard again, only this time he didn't get it back. The consoles fired into life and a small box rose up through the metal surface.

"What is that?" Kimberly asked.

"I'm not sure", Jason replied. He picked it up and it immediately attached itself to the bottom of his morpher. Three more attached to the other rangers morphers.

"Five minutes until launch", the computers voice called out.

"Well looks like we've got a few minutes to kill", Trini smiled. For the first few minutes there was an awkward silence between the rangers.

Finally Kimberly broke the silence, "Guys there's something I wanted to talk to you about", she sighed, "it's about me and Tommy". She paused for a few moments, "I broke up with him while we were on Onyx".

The yellow ranger bowed her head slightly, "Can I ask why?" she muttered.

"In case you haven't noticed, we're on the front line of an intergalactic war", Kim replied, "hardly the best time to be in a relationship. Also I'm probably not in his best graces after becoming Omega blue".

Trini looked for a few moments, "That's it", she exclaimed.

"Erm pretty much", Kimberly replied.

There was silence between the rangers for a few moments. Finally Jason sighed, "That's a fair call and just remember we have your back on this". The computer announced that launching was about to commence. They replaced their helmets as the Zords slowly moved out of its docking station. They accelerated towards Earth, The Zords broke through the atmosphere and raced towards Angel Grove. In the dark of night, The Omega rangers followed the flashes of light that indicated an ongoing battle. As they approached the source of the lights, they saw a giant robot crocodile like monster stomping onto the fallen Zeo Megazord. Pushing a button on the console, the Omega red zord fired a burst of laser fire at the monster, knocking him away from their fallen so called friends.

Inside their cockpit, Adam called out, "The Omega Rangers(".

The Omega Zords began to change, red zord's limbs folded into itself, Yellow's formed into legs, Black formed into a left arm, Blue formed into a right arm. The Black, Blue and Yellow zords attached to red. The megazord's head then appeared.

"This is amazing", Trini began, looking around the megazord cockpit

"Better see what it can do then", Jason replied. Pushing a button in the cockpit, the Omega Megazord responded and slowly began to raise its right arm. It fired like a gattling gun, tearing into the monster.

Zack whistled, "That's one powerful gun".

"Let's put this monster out of its misery", Jason said, "Omega Saber". The sword appeared in the hands of the Omega Megazord and with one slash, the monster fell to the ground and exploded.

Menawhile in the Zeo Megazord "I can't believe we were fighting that thing for half an hour", Kat began, "then they come along and blow it up in a couple of minutes".

The Omega zords blasted off back out into space, leaving the Zeo Megazord standing tall over the city.

Cransron Residence

The next day everyone was shocked to Dr Kat Manx arrive, she wasn't alone Doggie Kruger was with her.

"I don't understand why ", Trini stated as Kat handed her a futuristic looking tablet computer.

"Isnt SPD an ally of Zordon", Kim added.

"We are ", Doggie began, "But you see ".

Suddenly a small beam of light was emitted from the tablet, scanning Trini's face she blinked a few times to clear her vision, just in time to read the document that had opened on the screen. After a few moments, her eyes rolled back into her skull and her collapsed onto the sofa, Kat catching the tablet. "What the hell was that about", Kimberly cried as she rushed to her friend's side.

"Probably shock", Doggie replied as he read the message on the tablet. "According to this, SPD has deemed the Omega Rangers as heroes".

Zack and Jason looked over Kat's shoulder and read the message, "Holy shit", Zack exclaimed

"Give me that", Kim took the tablet from the SPD scientist's hand. She confirmed what Doggir had told them and suddenly felt her knees become weak. She managed to sit down but her face was now as white as a sheet. "At least we won't struggle with Zordon's allies now", she smiled.

" Why? how?" Zack asked.

" Cause the only way you could have gotten the Megazord upgrade was to be of pure heart, Satellite 13 wouldn't have let you in if it scanned revealed any evil intentions " Doggie announced.

" It was a test" Jason said, Doggie nodded.

"So what are you going to do now?" Kat asked.

"No idea", Kim answered, Jason nodded in thanks, not only did they now have a Megazord in their arsenal, they also had the full backing of one of SPD, the space police force. They were one step closer to eliminating the evil from the galaxy for good.
