Warframe Beyond the Origin
ESKK: Well, here we are a new chapter please enjoy it.
(Start Zed and Ahsoka)
In the Orbiter Zed and Ahsoka were in the ship as they travelled to their destination. Ahsoka was in turn met with Zed's newest Kubrow Fang who pounced on the Togruta and began to attack with licks which made the Togruta laugh. At the moment the duo of Zed and Ahsoka were waiting to arrive at Dai-ve'thal where Zed's target laid in wait.
"I don't like this." Zed said as he was going through the computer near the Navigation for any news and what not from the Holo-Net.
"Don't like what?" Ahsoka asked giving Zed a skeptical look.
"Bringing you along." He admitted as he sat there. "Somnus wants to study Force Users and figure them out." Zed said as he was calm about this. "Right now, with you here it will be like bringing him one on a silver platter if something goes wrong." Zed said making it clear he feels that this is a bad idea.
"Well, I can't exactly say no the Jedi Council asked me to." Ahsoka began but Zed cut her off on that.
"Yes, aid me while spying on me." Zed said calmly showing he was well aware of the Jedi's mistrust of the Tenno. Ahsoka was of course surprised that Zed knew her actual objective here but then he waved her off. "It's fine I figured long ago the Jedi don't trust easy those of our... abilities." Zed said as he was referencing the Tenno and their Void Power.
"Sorry." Ahsoka apologized as she looked to Zed who nodded to her.
"It's alright." Zed said and thus had an idea. "Hey Ahsoka want to play game?" Zed asked as he had several games, he got from Cephalon Sumaris during his trips to the Relay's as well as an old Orokin boardgame he saw Umbra play with Balas long ago.
"Um sure I guess." Ahsoka said and thus Zed pulled out from his storage the Komi Board game.
"Rules are simple." Zed said as he put the board between him and Ahsoka and got the pieces in place. "If I surround your piece like this it flips over showing I captured it." Zed said as he looked to Ahsoka. "Whoever has the most pieces in the end wins." Zed said as Ahsoka chuckled a bit to this.
"Well as long as it helps pass the time." Ahsoka said as they needed something to do while travelling.
Komi was a simple game of strategy and was a game he and Umbra liked to play in between missions and training. It helped them keep their minds sharp and also helped Umbra deal with his guilt of what happened to Isa so long ago. Still the pair had nothing much to do save wait for Ordis to finish cooking food, talking, or doing varying things the Tenno and Jedi do between missions.
The game was then set and with Black being the first to move Zed made the first move. So, one by one the pair began to put the pieces where they needed to go as they played their game. During the game though not, many words were shared but clearly Ahsoka was not having an easy time which she voiced.
"I thought you said the rules were simple." Ahsoka said as Zed smirked to her.
"They are your just not very good at it." Zed joked and thus Ahsoka groaned a bit with frustration over Zed's quip.
"Jerk." Ahsoka snipped as she saw what Zed did there. "You should at least go easy on someone new to this game of yours." Ahsoka said as Zed then smirked to this.
"Why should I?" Zed countered and thus Ahsoka saw they were getting nowhere on this. Soon enough Zed won another round and thus Ahsoka moaned to this.
"That's it I quit." Ahsoka said and thus Zed smirked to this.
"Figured that would be the case." Zed said as he then had another idea.
"Wait you knew then why?" Ahsoka asked but Zed cut her off.
"Oh, just to see your look when I show you this game." Zed said and thus activated Frame Fighter which from what Ahsoka could see was a fighting game.
Ahsoka was quiet for a moment until she looked to Zed and knew what came next. "Give me a control." Ahsoka said and thus it was game on.
(Later)
"Suck it!" Ahsoka called out as she and Zed were going one on one in Frame Fighter as Ahsoka had chosen to use Mirage while Zed was using Rhino. Clearly the two were having fun as they tried to one up the other in this fighting game of theirs. The level continued on as they kept the game going until Zed spoke.
"A Padawan you may be but a Jedi you are yet." Zed said and thus used a combo attack to defeat Mirage and thus Zed was declared the winner.
"Kriff!" Ahsoka cursed as she lost the round to Zed once more.
"You have much to learn before you can take me on." Zed said with a smirk on his face to Ahsoka's loss. "Another round?" Zed offered as Ahsoka smirked to this.
"Sure." Ahsoka said and thus they got ready to play another round. Nearby Zed's Kubrow saw the game play out and chuckled before returning to rest a bit.
(Scene Break Akin and Riyo)
The pair was seen sharing a meal as Akin and Riyo had a plate of food set up for them. "So, our original plan was to draw on Mari's face and Rell told us it was a bad idea." Akin said as he talked about a prank, he and the others pilled on Mari on the Zariman. "Of course, I realized too late we should have listened because next thing we know Titus is tuck in a net, I'm hanging upside down, and Zed himself is hit with leftover food from Mari's last meal." Akin said as he remembered that day.
"How ever did you get back at her for that?" Riyo asked with a tone of amusement.
"We never did she was always one step ahead of us. Then Aya dropped it that one of us told her our plans and she planned accordingly." Akin told and thus he remembered that one. "End of the story she lied, and Mari's biggest prank was to turn us on each other." Akin laughed as the two sat across from each other enjoying their time here. "Rell all the while was just watching the fireworks." Akin added as he knew how Rell tended to be back then.
"You all sounded like little menaces back then." Riyo laughed trying and failing to stifle her own laughter.
"We were I guess," Akin said as he gave out a small chuckle himself to that as he thought back to all the fun times before as they calm down for a bit keeping their smile for a bit as then Akin suddenly started to say, "This feels strange."
"What do you mean?" Riyo asked him as she wonder what he meant as he look at her and said, "From the moment I meet you, you were one of few most beautiful woman I have the honor of meeting in this new galaxy I came too, and in the short amount of time when I first meet you, you're an amazing woman the more I spend with you... the more I get close to you… my chest feel like it beating so incredibly fast, my face is filled with a heat I never had felt before, and… it's hard to know what to say to you at times."
Riyo is surprised to hear Akin talk like this as he sounded so mature going on about how he feeling as Riyo figure that what is going on as Akin went on saying, "I haven't felt this way with any other person before and with that kiss… I felt something I thought I never thought I would feel again."
"And what's that?" Riyo asked as Akin soon said, "A normal person, ever sense the void jump incident I never felt like my normal self-sense as far I know was fear and pain, then anger and enjoyment during the fall of the Orokin empire, after that… its nothing but a void in my heart, I mean I do still feel pain when I see others who also feel it, worry, sadness, the love my mother and the Lotus had shown me, a great friendship with Zed, but in my heart it never felt enough to fill the void, but now it feels whole."
Riyo stay silent when she heard this, looking away as Akin said to her, "I had never felt this way to anyone before and it's driving me mad, and I can see it in your eyes too."
Riyo eyes widen to this as Akin saw her emotions as well but didn't say a word as Akin soon said to her, "Do you feel the same about me, if you do… please tell me, before this feeling consume me."
"I… I can't," she said as it was hard enough to try not feel the way she does now, and she cannot emit on how she feels as she went on saying, "We can't… it's just not possible."
Things were silent after that as Riyo felt somewhat ashamed to say as Akin soon broke the silent as he said, "I understand… with how I look, it doesn't matter how old I really am, I'm forever trap in a child body, if anyone sees us like that… will no doubt see us in a bad light with me being a Tenno, and you a senator will affect your job as one."
Riyo is surprise by Akin on this as he knew what could be at stake here if they ever start a romantic relationship and to her surprise she saw a tear forming in Akin eyes… he was hurt, a pain he is feeling from his heart as he said, "I'm usually okay being rejected by others, knowing what I am… what I cannot be for them, maybe I'm asking too much, trying to be what I can't… is it too much to ask for a Tenno to have a chance at love?"
He held his feeling in, trying not to cry, trying to be strong, but his emotion were just overflowing, no amount of training can prepare a person for this no matter how hard they try for Riyo it was too much for her as she reach out to him and held him close, hugging him catching Akin by surprise, as tears form in her eyes as well.
(Scene Break Zed and Ahsoka)
The duo arrived on the planet Dex told them about and in turn began preparations to land. Of course, when they arrived, they saw a large number of Separatist ships around the planet. "Well, this is just great." Zed said as he saw the number of ships here. "Looks like Somnus may have been busy." Zed added as Ahsoka nodded to this.
"I don't like this." Ahsoka said as she saw all the Separatist ships here. "We might be walking into a trap." Ahsoka said as she felt that was the case.
"Hence why I didn't want a Jedi to come along." Zed said as he gave Ahsoka a sideways glance. "Ordis prep my gear for battle." Zed said and thus Ordis was on it.
"Of course, Operator." Ordis said as Umbra was being prepped with the Nataruk main arm, Paracesis heavy sword, and the Laetum Side Arm.
"I'm coming with you." Ahsoka said as she knew what Zed planned to do.
"If you can stay quiet and hidden sure." Zed said making it clear he was not gunning for Anakin and Akin's methods of loud and noticeable.
"Preparing deployment." Ordis said and with a nod Zed performed transference and activated Umbra who was ready for battle.
"Let's roll." Zed said showing he was ready to roll out.
(Scene Break the Planet's Surface)
The Landing Craft deposited both Zed and Ahsoka at a safe location a good way away from any immediate enemy patrols. Once they made landfall, they quickly moved to cover with Zed scanning the area for any trouble. When Zed saw that it was all clear he signaled for Ahsoka and thus the two were off to start doing some scouting of the area. Making sure to stick to the shadows the duo moved as Ahsoka even brought her Jedi hood for this to help hide herself a bit. They moved, they remained silent, and more so they had one goal in mind.
(Later)
The duo eventually found their way to an old structure that had Droids roaming the halls on patrol. The Tenno and Jedi kept out of their sight knowing full well destroyed or missing droids might tip their enemy off on their arrival here. As they continued on with their, mission they made sure to avoid any security cameras or sensors knowing full well that one wrong move would lead to their discovery.
They eventually managed to make their way into the interior of the facility and to their shock found Sentient drones hovering through the halls with a spotlight out to locate possible intruders. The Tenno and Jedi Padawan saw this and in response Zed moved Ahsoka into one of the vents to avoid detection from the Sentient.
"Stay out of their line of sight the minute they detect you other Sentient will be alerted and in turn bring the entire nest on us." Zed said as Ahsoka got the gist of it.
"Ok sneak around and don't be seen." Ahsoka said with a hushed tone as she knew very well if they are discovered then they were as good as dead. In turn the Tenno began to take the lead as Zed made sure to keep his eyes peeled for any possible trouble. It was also why he brought Nataruk since it was derived from Sentient origins and more so if he didn't charge it up it was as silent as any bow and arrow can be.
As they moved through the vents, they eventually got to another access vent and thus opened it up ever so quietly. Once they were out the Tenno and Jedi duo jumped out and began to look around for their target.
Just then Ahsoka took note of something and felt it was something Zed needed to look into. "Look at this." Ahsoka said as she noticed something. Following after her Zed looked and to his shock found some sort of Foundry set up by the Sentient.
"Well looks like Somnus wasn't being idle this whole time." Zed said as he knew what Somnus was doing. He was getting his ships back up and running and the moment they launch will make the Separatists the least of their worries. "We need to keep moving." Zed said and thus with a nod Ahsoka and Zed continued their recon mission.
(Later)
Soon enough the duo arrived at a hallway and thus had to hide and in turn saw the familiar form of Stalker walking with an old man. "Count Dooku.' Ahsoka whispered as she saw the Count, himself with Stalker.
'So that's the Separatist Leader I heard so much about.' Zed said as he saw the old man walking with Stalker and my extension Somnus.
"I would seem I owe you a great debt of gratitude Count Dooku I knew the actions of myself and my associate against the Senator would undoubtedly draw your attention to our plight." Somnus spoke as Stalker acted as his escort.
"One who willingly makes himself an enemy of the Republic just to draw upon my aid is of note I assure you Somnus." Dooku said as Somnus agreed with the Count or so it would seem. "I would assume our aid to you and your people's plight will be met with equal aid?" Dooku asked but Somnus chuckled to this.
"Of course, my people and I have lived under Tyranny long enough and the Republic would be just trading one group of tyrants for another." Somnus said as he told Dooku exactly what he needed to hear to secure his aid. "I promise the aid of my forces will undoubtedly tip the balance of power in your favor, but I fear the Tenno may prove to be a problem." Somnus said as they were seemingly unaware of Zed and Ahsoka's presence.
"And you believe the Force may be a method to counter them?" Dooku asked as Somnus nodded to this.
"I am willing to explore the avenue it would also make sense why the Tenno would rather have the Jedi as allies rather than enemies." Somnus said making it clear the Tenno were being smart about who they make allies of.
"I see." Dooku said as they walked to another room. "I promise you my friend we shall ensure you are freed of your prison and that your people may flourish." Dooku assured as Somnus nodded to this.
"You humble me Count Dooku." Somnus responded as he looked to the Count. "If I had hands to use, I would be shaking yours." Somnus said to which Dooku chuckled at Somnus attempt at humor. Seeing more than enough Zed and Ahsoka took their leave of the scene and made sure to leave quietly. All the while Somnus would have smirked if he had lips to do so with.
(Scene Break Extraction Point)
"Ordis, do you read? Did you get all of that?" Zed asked and thus Ordis responded to the Tenno.
"Of course, Operator." Ordis said as he knew this was bad. Somnus was using the Separatists to dig him out.
"I need you to send word to the others and forward the message to the Jedi tell them that Somnus is gaining aid from the Separatists." Zed ordered and thus Ordis tried to do so.
"Oh, dear it seems that with the lack of a Relay Station I cannot send the message out as you intended." Ordis said and thus Zed had another idea just as the two stopped.
"Ordis whose closer right now?" Zed asked as he looked to Ordis on the side of his screen and to Ashoka.
"It seem Tenno Akin appears to be the closest one to our location," Orbis said as a star map it shown to Zed, showing Akin location was a bit out of the way for Zed but close enough to get a signal to the fellow Tenno as he nods as he knew that is his best shot as he said, "Alright call him up and try to boost our signal the best you can as well, this need to be as clear as possible."
"Understood," Orbis said as Ahsoka soon ask, "You think your message will come through?"
"I will have too," Zed said as he prepared his message, unaware to him and Ahsoka a Sentient scout has seen them, while Zed soon started to say, "Akin if you're receiving this, I need you to forward this communication to the team, the Jedi, and the republic this is urgent."
(Akin and Riyo)
As the Tenno and Senator were enjoying their time together, as they appeared closer than before as they ate together, with Akin com went off as he soon answered it with Enti suddenly speak out as she said, "Operator Akin, you have a call from Tenno Zed"
"Put him through," Akin said as he put up the screen as he and Riyo look and saw Zed and Ahsoka on the planet no doubt Somnus is on as Zed said to him, "A-Akin if you're re-receiving this, I n-n-need you to forward this transmission to th-the team, the Je-jedi, and the republic this is ur-urgent."
"Enti boost the signal and retransmit to the others," Akin said as Enti was already on it as she said, "Connecting now."
(Titus, Aya, and Mari)
"Man having these guys put to work rocks," Titus said as he had a work force to droids fixing up the power generator room as they gotten 60 percent of power working now, even gotten some forges going as well to bring forth more droids to put them to work as Mari said, "And thanks to Aya programing, they aren't trying to kill us."
"I'm glad to see it is working despite how old these systems are," Aya said as she was working on communications as she had to use the ones from the orbiters to connect to with the forge to establish a connecting as Mari soon ask, "So how long for the Coms to be working?"
"Communications are coming up…" Aya said as she trailed off a bit as she hit the enter key and got it working as she finished saying, "Now."
Suddenly a signal was being picked up as Aya said, "It's working, and we got a message already."
"Who's it from?" Titus question as Aya brought up the message and play it as she and the others suddenly heard Zed speaking as he said, "If anyone is receiving this message, I have found Somnus at my current location."
Aya was getting to work on figuring out where Zed is at as she got his location, with the message still running as zed went on saying, "And I have bad news, as it seemed Somnus had join together with the separatists."
(Jedi temple)
"He was having a meeting with Count Dooku as they talk about giving aid to one another," Zed said as Yoda and Mace Windu heard this, they knew this was bad news.
"We believe they plan to combine their forces into one unified army." Ahsoka added and in turn it was troubling. Droids were one thing's but Droids able to adapt as the situation demands it would make the Separatist unbeatable. "We're transmitting coordinates but." Ahsoka began until something was heard.
"Wait... look out!" Zed called out and thus the sound of laser fire was heard and following it was Sentient Drones accompanied by Battle Droids. Soon a few other Sentient based by the Hologram and in turn it was clear that the Tenno and Ahsoka were in danger.
"Contact Skywalker and Kenobi we must." Yoda said as he knew this was a bad thing for all parties involved. "Of this crisis inform the Chancellor we shall." Yoda said making it clear they needed to move fast.
"What about the rest of us?" Akin asked as he spoke to the Jedi.
"Remain with Senator Chuchi so long as Somnus continues to target her then her life will be in constant danger." Windu said as he gave the younger Skywalker a cold look. "Protecting her is your top priority." He added and thus Akin nodded to him.
"Got it que ball." Akin responded and thus cut the transmission.
(Back on Pantora)
"Well, that settles that." Akin said as he laid back put his hands behind his head and plopped his feet on the table.
"Wait, aren't you going to go save them?" Riyo asked with concern over this. "Even at their fastest they won't be able to mobilize in time to help Zed or Ahsoka." Riyo said as she looked to Akin in shock.
"I want to help them honestly I do but I can't." Akin began as he relaxed. "See I was given direct instruction to protect you so the only way I can go there is if you were planning to save them and I found myself unable to stop you forcing me to come along to continue my mission." Akin said and judging by his tone Riyo saw what this meant.
"How did you figure I would?" Riyo began but Akin cut her off.
"I didn't just a lucky guess." Akin said and thus Riyo nodded in agreement.
"Ahsoka is my friend after all so saving her would come first." Riyo said and in turn they all had a plan.
"Well then we best start moving." Akin said and thus got up and had the landing craft called to pick him up.
(Meanwhile in the Star Forge)
"Shit." Titus cursed as Aya was fast at work.
"Aya contact the Lotus tell her we need back up!" Mari ordered but Aya smirked.
"Already on it." Aya said as she was typing away on the computer. "Lotus... Lotus can you hear me?" Aya asked as she was synching the Fortress communications to that of the Tenno's own.
"Tenno... Aya?" Lotus was heard as her image appeared on screen.
"Sweet it works!" Titus cheered as they saw the Lotus on screen greeting them.
"What is going on?" Lotus asked as Mari then stepped up to take charge.
"We managed to secure the sight for the new Relay Station, but we just hit a major snag with the investigation with Somnus." Mari said as she looked to Lotus with concern in her eyes. "Somnus is amassing an army and has opted to take advantage of the army the enemies of our allies had built we need reinforcements." Mari said making it clear that they were in need of backup.
"We think Zed is in trouble." Aya added and in turn that was all the Lotus needed to hear.
Zed was basically the poster boy of the Tenno the one they all looked up to. The New War was more than enough proof to show just how valuable Zed was as a Tenno. "A Sentient invasion would be inevitable if Somnus is allowed to continue." Lotus said as she knew what this meant for the Origin System. "But we are still fresh from the New War we can't just send an army at this like we did before." Lotus went on as she knew that this was a difficult choice to make.
"Lotus, we need help." Aya said knowing that even with their strength they had no hope of defeating a Sentient Army especially one lead by Somnus.
With her decision made Lotus looked to her Tenno and had her orders. "I will gather the Tenno that I can deploy your job is to go to where Zed is and provide him with aid, no doubt Akin will already be on his way." Lotus said as she had her orders for them. "Regroup with Akin locate Zed and do what you can until the others arrive once that happens find Somnus lair and lock him away." Lotus said making it clear she would not allow Somnus to escape if she can help it.
"Understood." The Tenno said with a bow and thus Lotus ended the communication for now.
"Aya set this base, on auto and ensure that the other Tenno can land here." Mari ordered and saw Aya was working still.
"Already on it." Aya said as she began sending the order out to let only the Tenno faction enter the base for the time being.
"Alright then." Mari said as she got ready to fight. "Alright then everyone, get ready because we're going in hot." Mari said as she was not going to let the Sentient get the best of them this time. After all the Lotus was on their side again and no matter how smart Somnus thinks he is he's nothing before the Tenno.
(Scene Break Zed and Ahsoka)
It came as a surprise when Zed and Ahsoka were blindsided by the Sentient attacking them. What came more shocking was when they used Orphix based weapons to force Zed out of Umbra and deactivate him. It then came as a bigger shock when they used Corpus anti-Tenno technology to keep Zed from using his Void Power as well as prevent him from contacting Ordis to send his Necramech. Ahsoka fared no better as she was quickly shocked and restrained before being taken away by their enemies.
Thus, here they were stuck in separate cells catered to their own abilities as they were unable to escape them. "Zed, can you get the other guy in?" Ahsoka asked as she looked to Zed.
"I can't the cell that I am in is giving off a signal to keep my from using my power." Zed said as he sat in his cell trying to think of a way to get out. "It's something the Corpus uses back home in the Origin System, to keep a Tenno from using their abilities or his Warframe's abilities." Zed said as he sat on the wall that had Ahsoka's cell on the other side of it.
"Great." Ahsoka said as she couldn't access her own Force Abilities due to the cell having some sort of dampening field around it. Down the hall Umbra was heard howling as he tried to break free to no avail. Somnus had thought of everything as it was clear he took no chances against his foes. "So, all we can do is wait." Ahsoka sighed as she knew patience was her only chance now.
"I would not say that." Came the voice of Somnus as soon Stalker walked forth with Somnus still attached to him. "I must say it's truly an honor to at last meet a Jedi." Somnus said as he looked to Ahsoka who glared at him.
"Wish I could say the same thing." Ahsoka said as she glared at Somnus.
"Pity." Somnus said as he looked to Ahsoka. "I would assume you would have been thankful for the information I allowed you both to listen in on." Somnus said and thus Zed and Ahsoka were wide eyed.
"Wait you knew we were there!?" Zed asked with a shocked tone to his voice.
"Yes, I was aware I plan for every contingency, and I should thank you for bringing in my first Test Subject." Somnus said as he then turned back over to Ahsoka.
"Wait me?!" Ahsoka asked shocked at what she heard.
"Yes you. You're a Force User a Jedi through you and other Jedi I may learn of a method to grant your abilities to the Sentient and in turn allow us to finally destroy the Tenno." Somnus said as the Togruta glared at Somnus.
"Fat chance I'd rather die than give you what you want." Ahsoka said as Somnus didn't seem surprised.
"I won't dispute that and had anticipated you would terminate your own life as well." Somnus said which confused Ahsoka. "The truth is I do know that Jedi Masters share a bond with their Apprentice and my research suggests that Anakin Skywalker is aa powerful Force User among the Jedi Order." Somnus said as he looked to Ahsoka. "Through this master/student bond I intend to draw him out and knowing full well you won't call to him of your own volition I have other methods to force the reaction I seek." Somnus said making it clear that Ahsoka was not only his test subject but also bait to draw Anakin out.
Ahsoka was horrified by the implications, but Somnus was far from done. "The same method can in turn be used on General Skywalker who will in turn call out to General Kenobi which will provide me with three Test Subjects four if Plo-Koon was the one to come looking as well." Somnus said shocking Ahsoka.
"Your plan won't work." Ahsoka said as she thought it over and saw it had merit.
"My calculations would state otherwise I simply need to enforce the correct stimuli to force you to seek Skywalker out." Somnus said making it clear he was not taking no for an answer.
"DON'T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT SENTIENT SCUM!" Zed roared as he charged his cage and slammed his hands against the barrier. "I'll make you regret it." Zed growled glaring at Somnus.
"You had every chance to make Hunhow regret his actions and all you did was leave him to slowly die from his own failures as a military leader." Somnus said showing he and Hunhow were not on the best of terms anymore after the Old War. "But to prevent you the chance of escape or planning." Somnus said and thus with a wave of his hand Sentient drones came out and once Ahsoka's cell was opened the Togruta was dragged and thus the struggle began.
"Ahsoka!" Zed called out as the Togruta was dragged away.
"Zed!" Ahsoka responded but the Sentient troops dragged her away regardless.
"Now then I will be with you later first I will need to open a Void Portal to throw you in." Somnus said knowing he could not kill a Tenno, but he can send them back to the place it began.
"You'll die before that happens." Zed growled and in turn Somnus scoffed and in turn Stalker began to walk away from the jail cells. Once Somnus and Stalker was gone Zed hoped his friends would not fall for this trap. But even he knew that their loyalty would overshadow their common sense.
(Later with Ahsoka)
Ahsoka found herself tied to some sort of berth as she found her Force abilities were still kept at bay. Nearby she saw her lightsaber on a table being scanned as well as the weapons Zed came in with using Umbra nearby as well. The massive sword Zed brought was in some sort of containment unit as was the energy boy he had as well. Though it was the sword that had more restrained on it which Ahsoka had found odd to say the least.
She then heard a howl and thus saw Umbra nearby as his arms and legs were restrained to four separate spots with a field around him to prevent Transference. Needless to say, Ahsoka was shocked that Umbra can act on his own and was impressed with how much he was fighting even now. "A remarkable creation one of the very first Warframes ever created by the Orokin and most of all by Ballas." Somnus said as Ahsoka looked and saw a screen that showed Somnus in his true form looking down upon Ahsoka.
"Let me go you... whatever you are!" Ahsoka yelled as she tried to get free.
"I would not bother trying these restraints were designed with a Jedi in mind." Somnus said as he looked to Ahsoka.
"If you want to have the power of the force you can forget it it's something your born with!" Ahsoka yelled as she glared at Somnus.
"Implying it's a genetic trait." Somnus said as this surprised Ahsoka. "Most fascinating." The Sentient said as he began to love over Ahsoka. "From my research these Micochlorines are the reason behind your individual force abilities." Somnus said as he used data he had already gathered. "Most intriguing I must say but I believe I can gain a deeper understanding." Somnus said as Ahsoka went wide eyed.
"So, which is it study me or torture me?" Ahsoka asked and thus Somnus looked to her.
"The more effective and logical method would be to use both and to do that neither anesthetic or pain killers will be applied for this research." Somnus said making Ahsoka go wide eyed as soon arms began to reach out causing the Togruta to go wide eyed. "Please for both of our sakes refrain from expiring a dead test subject will provide me with no information not that I'd allow you to die anyway." Somnus said and in turn as the tools grew closer to Ahsoka she was wide eyed and knew that what was about to happen will be a pain of the likes she had never known.
Umbra saw this and in turn looked away as Ahsoka was heard screaming out in absolute agony as Somnus began his research into the Force. Electricity flashed across Umbra's face as he was reminded of his own son Isaah from when Ballas forced him to... kill his child. Somnus wasn't doing this to break Umbra though unlike Ballas. Somnus was doing this to gain an edge over his enemies and showing that if it means victory then throwing away what he had for morals and ethics was something he would gladly do.
With the way Somnus was experimenting on Ahsoka it was only a matter of time before Ahsoka slipped and Anakin sensed her agony. And once more Umbra was made helpless to watch as the young girl was tortured in Somnus' made attempt to study and recreate the Force abilities the Jedi pride themselves in. Their only hope was that the Tenno can make it in time and hopefully avoid the trap Somnus had no doubt set up against them. But even than it may not be enough to beat him.
(Scene Break Jedi Temple Anakin)
Anakin was seen walking down the halls of the Temple as he was deep in through. The good news was that the Resolute was back to flying order, but the bad news was that Ahsoka was on a solo mission, so he had no one to hang around with. In fact, bar Padme everyone he cared about seemed to be busy with something Obi-Wan is on a mission and would be back soon, Padme was dealing with Senator based problems, Akin was guarding Riyo Chuchi at the moment, and Ahsoka was on a mission. With no one he cared about around to hang out he had two options help some of the younglings out or go tinker with some new machine.
Figured he might as well go tinker a bit he began to make his way to his room. But then all of a sudden, he felt a disturbance through the Force more specifically the Master/Apprentice bond he shared with Ahsoka. This feeling was not one he ever wanted to sense through the bond and that feeling was pain and suffering. Ahsoka was in agony as she was clearly somewhere harmful to her. This in turn caused Anakin to go wide eyed as he felt it and thus knew one thing... his Padawan was in danger.
"Ahsoka." Anakin gasped and in turn made a beeline to Yoda. Whoever was torturing his padawan Anakin would not rest until he found them and ensured his Padawan was returned safe from any more harm that may befall her.
At least that was his plan until something force his attention away. "Rap. Tap. Tap." A voice spoke as Anakin heard it echo across the halls. "Rap. Tap. Tap." The voice repeated as he reached with the Force and found nothing. "Rap. Tap. Tap." The voice repeated as Anakin opted to ignore it and continue on his original objective.
At least he would have until he saw much to his shock himself entering the War Room. Going wide eyed to this Anakin ran over to what he saw and entered the empty war room. Once he was inside Anakin was met with the sight that shocked him to no end. "So, we finally get to meet... Annie." The voice owner spoke revealing himself to be an exact replica of Anakin Skywalker. The only thing missing was his right hand and his eyes were empty like black holes.
"W-what who." Anakin asked as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing.
"What and Who I am right?" The second Anakin asked moving his right arm up and letting a hand, made of energy come out. "Who I am is the guy whose owed a great deal for helping those kids." The second Anakin said with a smirk on his face. "And for what I am... well those kids have been calling me as of late... the Man in the Wall." The being said as he showed he was not something of this world. "But let's move on to why I am here and why I am here is to offer you a deal." The other Anakin said and thus the Jedi Knight stood there in shock at what he was hearing.
