Warframe Beyond the Origin
ESKK: Well, here we are a new chapter let's begin shall we.
(Start Jedi Temple War Room)
Anakin stood in shock as his double who dubbed himself as the Man in the Wall as he tried to wrap his mind around what he saw. "W-what who." Anakin asked as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing.
"What and Who I am right?" The second Anakin asked moving his right arm up and letting a hand, made of energy come out. "Who I am is the guy whose owed a great deal for helping those kids." The second Anakin said with a smirk on his face. "And for what I am... well those kids have been calling me as of late... the Man in the Wall." The being said as he showed he was not something of this world. "But let's move on to why I am here and why I am here is to offer you a deal." The other Anakin said and thus the Jedi Knight stood there in shock at what he was hearing.
"What sort of deal?" Anakin asked as he glared at the being before him.
"Simple the power to save her and everyone you care for." The Man in the Wall said as Anakin was now intrigued. "But this power comes at a price and just for you a much larger one." The Man in the Wall said as he smiled at Anakin. "Simply put it Annie, power for power you lose the Force and in exchange you gain the Void." The Man in the Wall said as he looked to the shocked Anakin. "But more so Akin will have to return to the Void because you and he cannot exist at the same time with the same powers." The Man in the Wall said as he looked to Anakin shocking the Jedi.
"No, I won't take that sort of power!" Anakin yelled stepping away from the Man in the Wall who then to his shock began to laugh.
"They always say that before they come crawling back, Annie." The Man in the Wall said and thus smiled at Anakin. "Well, whatever I'll be waiting for you to come crawling back as well or not depends how much fun you're going to be if you say yes." The Man in the Wall said as Anakin growled and began to storm off. "Be sure to tell the Kiddo I said hi and that he still owes me... you know him Zed." The Man in the Wall said and thus Anakin went wide eyed to this.
"Wait how do you know?" Anakin began but to his shock he saw that the Man in the Wall was no longer there. The only thing left was an active star map showing the Jedi Knight planets. Just then the doors opened and in turn Anakin looked and saw Plo-Koon there.
"I assume you also sensed it, Skywalker?" Plo-Koon asked as he looked to Anakin with concern.
"I did Master Plo." Anakin responded as he knew Ahsoka was in danger.
"You plan to go save her do you not?" Plo asked as he looked to Anakin.
"Yes." Anakin responded and thus Plo knew he had to do something.
"We are mobilizing our force's, but it will take time and the council needs you leading your troops in this." Plo said as Anakin then growled.
"We don't have time Ahsoka is suffering she could be dying for all we know!" Anakin yelled as he glared at Plo-Koon.
"Which is why I'm asking if you need me to deliver a message to the 501st?" Plo asked in a calm tone and thus Anakin saw what the Jedi Master was doing.
"I see tell them to be ready to launch with the rest of the Republic forces and meet me at the coordinates I will be sending to you." Anakin said as he knew Obi-Wan was the last one to see Ahsoka.
"Very well... good luck my friend." Plo said and thus Anakin headed off to find Obi-Wan and hopefully get the location Ahsoka is currently at. But he was still going to need a ship to get him there which knowing Skywalker should not be a problem for him.
(Scene Break Zed)
Zed was still in his prison cell as he knew he'd be here for a bit. Patrols came in at what appeared to be semi-irregular intervals and by the looks of it they always changed up the groupings. No doubt to keep Zed from devising a plan of escape around guard patrols. He had to admit Somnus was crafty assuming he was the one who designed the guard patrols. More so the room was clearly escape proof, no windows, shielded bars, and most of all holes only big enough to let air in.
Of course, Zed's solitude was interrupted by footsteps outside his cell glancing to the source Zed saw Count Dooku appear with two Droids wielding vibro-staffs. "Count Dooku I presume." Zed said with a calm and neutral voice.
"You would presume correct." Count Dooku said as he looked down on Zed. "Though I had expected someone of you and your sort's shared reputation to be... older." Count Dooku said as he looked to Zed who glared at the Separatist leader.
"Surprised?" Zed asked as he was clearly taunting Dooku with that.
"I am surprised that I cannot sense you." Count Dooku said as he looked to the Tenno as he like many Force Users thus far had been unable to detect Zed's presence in the Force.
"You and every Jedi I crossed paths with thus far." Zed said as he looked to the Count.
"I have been told of the situation within your home system." Count Dooku said which got Zed's attention. "Perhaps we may be of some assistance in that regard." Count Dooku offered as Zed gave the man a skeptical look showing he found it hard to believe.
"Yeah sure." Zed said with sarcasm that Count Dooku took note of.
"It is true my young friend." Count Dooku said as he looked to Zed. "Don't you tire of keeping the Origin System in the constant state it is in with two powerful factions constantly oppressing people trying to forcibly gain the upper hand on each other?" The Sith Lord offered as Zed sat against the wall hearing everything Dooku was saying.
"By forcibly going in and doing the oppression yourselves?" Zed asked making it clear he had a problem with what Dooku's people were doing.
"You exaggerate my young friend." Count Dooku said as Zed made it clear he was not interested in whatever Count Dooku was selling.
"The Corpus may be a cult that worships money but at the end of the day they are still businessmen and could do whatever tricks the Trade Federation and Banking Clan does to get themselves out of legal trouble." Zed said as he knew the state the people of Fortuna were forced into by Nef Anyo and the Corpus. All in the name of Profit as they constantly claim to those who would listen. "The Grineer on the other hand won't be so easily defeated their crude and violent yes but they are extremely stubborn." Zed said as he spoke from personal experience involving the Grineer. The Grineer will fight without end and the best way to take them down is to take the Grineer Queens down because without the Queen's the Grineer will be unable to keep fighting so long as their cloning method continues to deteriorate.
Zed opted not to mention the Infestation knowing full well if the Separatist tried then the Infestation would no doubt be the thing that does them in. Still Zed could not be 100% certain that the Infestation would be a good enough deterrent against Count Dooku and his ilk. "If you're trying to offer an alliance between the Tenno and the Separatist then no deal." Zed said making it explicitly clear he won't let that happen if he can help it.
"So, your content with the Republic and the Jedi trading Food and Medicine in exchange for your services?" Count Dooku asked as he found it a bit noble if not foolish at times.
"Of course, it's sure as hell better then forcing yourselves onto others and making systems join you by cutting off their trade." Zed said as he made it clear he knew how the Separatists operated to gain new allies who do not wish to join them.
"I see that there is no convincing you." Count Dooku said as he turned away from Zed. "I will petition to have you freed as far as I see your grievance is with Somnus who at the moment has not officially joined the Separatist Alliance yet." Count Dooku said as Zed smirked to him.
"Good I hope it does not take too long after all I have a friend to save." Zed said making it clear his plans once he was out but judging by the sharp tone, he used it was clear he was aware that was not going to happen any time soon.
Taking his leave Count Dooku was followed by his guards as he had one last thing to say to Zed. "Be well my young friend." Count Dooku said and thus Zed was once more left alone in his cell by the Count.
(Meanwhile with the Tenno)
Near the unnamed planet with 4 orbiters floating near each other, no doubt one is Zed's, as he stuck on the planet his ship remain near the planet hidden from any separatists ship which was lacking no doubt thinking no one knew their location and being civilization-less world due to Somnus's own forces making it so it seem like a perfect place for them to hide in, or so they thought.
Soon enough a 5th orbiter soon joined the rest as Akin open coms and said, "Hey guys, you still in your orbiters?"
"Hey, the king of mars has arrived," Titus said a bit joking as Mari asked, "Weren't you supposed to be watching senator Chuchi?"
"Oh, I'm watching her alright, watching her try to fly the orbiter and nearly void jump into a planet's moon," Akin said as his Cephalon suddenly said, "I stand witness to such a near death."
"Forgive me Enti, I tried to be careful I can be, but I dare say that your so-called operator is not the best teacher," Riyo said with some sass in her tone as Titus said, "That's a burn!"
"I agree, great flyer, bad teacher of flying," Aya said as Akin said, "Hey I wasn't that bad."
"You thought of having minimal shielding in the back and more up front of the Railjack was the best strategy and we nearly got attack by every enemy ship from there," Mari pointed out as she pointed out Akin flaw idea of having the best defense is having the strong offense as Akin said, "We did make it out alive at least."
"Yeah, after we got the gunner system working again, which wasn't easy you know" Titus said as it seemed that he was the one to fix it, then suddenly there was an alert sound as Mari ask, "What was that?"
"Excuse me operator Mari, it seems we are picking up a ship on our long-range scanners that is coming in our area very soon," Mari's Cephalon answered as Aya asked, "Were we expecting backup?"
Suddenly a jedi fighter came into view that just came out of hyperspace and saw who is inside of it as Akin suddenly ask, "Big brother, why are you here?"
"I should be asking you the same thing aren't you supposed to be protecting Senator Chuchi?" Anakin asked with concern over his younger self.
"I'm right here Master Jedi." Riyo greeted as she stepped up to the holo communicator.
"Senator what are you doing here?!" Anakin asked as he almost forgot about his mission here.
"Loophole abuse." Akin said plainly and Anakin started to see some parallels.
"Deja vu." Anakin suddenly said as he was wide eyed before focusing on the task at hand. "Ahsoka is in danger I don't know what's going on but she's suffering." Anakin said making it clear why he was here.
"Wait if Ahsoka is in danger then..." Titus began and in turn Mari put the pieces together.
"Shit Somnus is going through with it!?" Mari announced shocked over what was figured out.
"I'm afraid so." Aya said also figuring out what was happening.
"We need to hurry!" Titus said and thus Akin nodded.
"I couldn't agree more." Akin said making it clear what they needed to do.
"Let's hurry the more time we waste here the less time Ahsoka may have." Anakin said and in turn they all began to make their way to the planet with Anakin starfighter detaching the hyperspace ring while the Orbiters deployed the landing crafts.
(Meanwhile Planet Surface)
The ships began to fly low keeping out of any sensors as best as they can. While flying they made their way to what appeared to be a smokestack that were being exhaust from a vent of sort. Going down there Anakin landed his starfighter making sure he knew where it was to come looking for it later while the Tenno departed from their Landing Crafts via their Warframes. Once they were out Akin stretched his arms out and then to their surprise Riyo cried out as she fell into Akin's waiting arms.
"You knew that would happen, didn't you?" Riyo asked with a skeptical look on her face.
"Oh, big time." Akin said with a smirk on his face.
"Shut it." Mari said as just then R2 popped out of the starfighters droid port ready to provide whatever aid he can.
Mari was using Mesa Prime as for this mission wanting to use her best Frame to rescue Zed and Ahsoka. Her melee weapon was of course the Orvius with her main arm weapon being the Vulkar Wraith sniper rifle, and her side arms were of course the AkVasto Prime side arms.
Aya was packing Mirage once more but had replaced Kogake with the Broken Scepter of the Grineer queens with the AkBolto side arms because of how well they went with Mirage and Paris Prime to make the shots Mari could now.
Titus had gone with the Chroma Prime Gram Prime Warframe weapon combo but had opted to use Shedu for his main arm since they would need its fire power to take on the Sentient. For his side arm he opted for the Magnus Prime for simplicity's sake.
Finally Akin as he put Riyo down revealed that his Warframe was Volt Prime as the melee weapon was of course his Dharka Prime. For his guns he decided to go with the Braton Prime main arm weapon and the Spira Prime Throwing Knives for that silent touch. "So, everyone ready to move?" Akin asked as Anakin didn't even wait as he just went on in down the path. "Hey wait up!" Akin called out as they all began to walk down the hall.
"Master Jedi before we go any further, please listen." Riyo said as she got Anakin's attention. "As a representative of the Republic I feel it would be in our best interest to approach these Sentient with a sense of diplomacy and find a peaceful resolution to this brewing conflict." Riyo said as Anakin understood what Riyo hoped to accomplish.
"I respect that desire, Senator but I must also consider what Somnus had already done thus far." Anakin said as he was also adding the attempt on Riyo's life to that list just below whatever he was doing to Ahsoka.
"Ok other than him being moody right now he has a point, senator." Akin said as he stepped up to the plate. "Take it from someone who's been fighting the Sentient for a long time they aren't very interested in negotiating with the Tenno or anyone who sides with them." Akin said as he knew the number of times the Sentient had attacked them or those close to them. The fact in the New War Hunhow and later Erra only helped them out because Ballas was the bigger threat at the time.
But unaware to them Sentient Drones began to come out of their hiding spots behind the Tenno. "If they are capable of free thinking and self-awareness then they can be reasoned with." Riyo argued a bit but that was until the Sentient's movement was sensed. "We should at least." Riyo began until Anakin cut her off.
"Wait." Anakin said as he felt something off now. This in turn caused the Tenno to slowly reach for their weapons as Anakin was also ready to start swinging as well. Just then the Tenno drew their weapons and began slashing through the Sentient coming from behind them. Following it up Anakin joined in slashing through the ones that got to close as more began to come forth from the walls via a tunnel system of some kind. As they came in Akin pushed Riyo back behind him while trying to protect her from the Sentient who got to close.
It wasn't until Anakin slashed at another Sentient that he was surprised to see his lightsaber bounce off its body. "What!?" Anakin asked in shock to this as he saw what happened.
"They've adapted around your lightsaber it won't affect them anymore." Titus said as he fired at a few of them with his Shedu to keep them at bay.
"Great one thing after the other." Anakin cursed as he saw what was going on.
Mari then entered her Operator form and began firing off a Void Beam at the approaching Sentient attempting to keep them at bay. "There's to many of them!" Mari called out as she glared at them.
"We need to go now!" Aya said as they got closer to the door at the end of the hall.
"This way!" Akin called out and thus they got moving to the door in order to escape.
Once they got to the door the Four Tenno, one Jedi, and One Senator had to stop short as they nearly fell over the edge. "Well, that was close." Titus said only for the door to close behind them.
"Not again." Anakin cursed only for the platform they were on to reel back and thus they fell over the edge into what appeared to be a conveyer belt. All around them the Tenno saw what appeared to be a Sentient made factory as tolls and equipment were being used to construct something here.
As they were now on the ground but with no way to get off safely the Tenno were stuck for a bit. During this the four surrounded Riyo to protect her as more Sentient drones came in and began attacking them. The Tenno did their best to fight them off as this happened as Anakin provided help with his lightsaber and the Force while being careful not to let the Sentient have the chance to adapt to his methods and abilities. "Guys get Riyo out of here Anakin and I will keep them off our tails!" Akin called out as he and Anakin fought off the Sentient.
"Got it!" Titus called out and thus he, Mari, and Aya ran with Riyo Chuchi to keep her safe from the Sentient and an accident in the factory.
Once they were gone Akin and Anakin were ready for more. "Ok what do I need to know about these things?" Anakin asked as he glared at the Sentient.
"Kill them fast, kill them hard, and if they adapt, I'll Void Blast them to reset them." Akin said making it short and sweet as he fired off a stream of lightning from Volt Prime's hand causing the Sentient to feel it before Anakin came in and sliced through them. "Wait where's R2?" Anakin asked as he noticed a certain Droid was missing.
(Back with Artoo)
Artoo rolled on through the door thankfully ignored by the Sentient as he looked around. With him Mari's Dethcube Prime, Aya's Wyrm Prime, and Titus Carrier Prime, flew in with Akin's Hound Spike the group of machines saw the chaos and thus all nodded to each other. Jumping off the ledge Spike headed on down while Artoo activated his boosters to join them. The Sentinals of course flew on in knowing that the danger their partners were in was very much real.
(Back with Akin and Anakin)
The pair continued to fight off the Sentient for a bit until they all began to fall back. Looking about they saw machine arms doing as they were programmed working and thus the pair saw they were right in the middle of it. "Worry about the droid later I'm sure he's fine!" Akin said as they had to focus on the task at hand.
(Meanwhile with the others)
Titus led the charge as he used Gram Prime to block and fight off the oncoming machines in their way. At the same time Aya was timing the machines so she can get Riyo through them without trouble. If she died while under their watch, then they can kiss their contract goodbye. As they kept moving, they managed to get to the end of the chaos and thus shared a small sigh of relief to be out of that.
"Operator we may have a problem!" Sadi Mari's Cephalon said as she sounded concerned.
"What is it now Sadi?" Mari asked as she jumped and throw Orvius at a few Sentient drones and caught it when it returned to her waiting hand.
"I was doing a scan of the area and I detected something concerning, Archon Signals." Sadi said and thus the Tenno went wide eyed to this.
"Please tell me she's joking." Titus said and thus his Cephalon was heard.
"Really wish she was." Came Cephalon Thusa as he sounded worried as well.
"Oh Void, help us." Aya cursed as she realized how bad this could turn out for them.
"Incoming!" Mari called out and thus saw more Sentient Drones coming down on the group of four.
The Tenno sprang into action as they began to fight off the Sentient drones that came their way. Swinging their weapons tearing through the Sentient drones the Tenno kept going as they protected Riyo as best they could. Of course, in the location they were in it was clear they needed more room to fight. "Down here!" Titus called out and thus Aya grabbed Riyo causing her to yelp in surprised before the Tenno jumped downward.
Once they landed with a tap Aya put Riyo down just as more Sentient began to show up. "Well, you only live once!" Titus called out as the Drones moved in on them.
Just then a wolf howl was heard causing the group to look and from above a familiar being came to the ground. Following it was two more as they hovered downward and glared at the three Tenno. "What are those?!" Riyo asked as she saw them.
"Those are Archons mutilated corrupted Warframes." Titus said as he glared at the Archons as they recognized the Snake Nira, the Owl Boreal, and the Wolf Amar. The three glared at the Archons recognizing the Prime Warframes that were used to make these blighted abominations of the Old War. "Really the same old guys come on." Titus scoffed as he knew they were going to be a piece of cake.
"Wait something about them is different." Aya said soon she was given the reason why when something dropped behind them. Turning around the group were met with three new forms they never saw before. The first used a Convor an owl species of this galaxy native to Wasskah for the animal part and the Warframe part clearly came from Ember Prime. The second used some sort of wolf creature never before seen by the Tenno as its Warframe aspect came from Frost Prime. Finally, was what appeared to be the leader that used a parody of the Krayt Dragon as its body used the Equinox Warframe for its base.
"Ok this got harder." Aya said as she saw they were surrounded.
In turn the Archon's attack as two went after each of the three Tenno making it clear they were outnumbered here. As this went on the three fought back but found a few major problems with this. Titus took on Amar and the new unknown Archon that was combo up with Frost Prime as the two clearly were not here to make friends. As this happened the Archons were fast and strong as they slowly but surely began to overpower Titus using numbers and for some odd reason seem able to move in ways that reminded Titus of the Jedi. Just then Amar howled and summoned the pack causing Titus to growl and shoot at each copy to find the real one.
But just then the other Archon howled and in turn Titus was blinded as this reminded him of Radiant Flash. As Titus regained his sight, he was then wide eyed as the entire scene was changed into something of his nightmares. Moving in on him Titus cried out as he began to fight off the spawns of his worst dreams who all moved in on him. Now while Titus was suffering this to the outside perspective, he was in fact swinging at nothing as he tried to fight off something that was not even there.
Mari was having just as much luck as she had used her Warframe's ability, Peacemaker, to fight the two Archons attacking her Nira and the Dragon/Equinox Prime combo Archon. Alas Mari was unable to fight her off as she was being pushed to a corner. Just then Mari felt her entire Warframe freeze up and looking around she tried to find the source. She then saw the new Archon type hovering over the ground as it seemed to be holding her in place with nothing but its mind... or maybe nothing but the Force.
Aya was facing off against Boreal and the Convor/Ember Prime as she swung Broken Scepter about fighting the two off. As she glared at them Boreal acted first and sent his trident at Aya who bashed it away only for it to stop midair and come straight to the ground electrifying it. Mari's Warframe suffered for that and just as she was about to move the Convor moved in and in turn Aya went wide eyed at what it showed you. The Darkness only showed one's fear and the ugly truth, but this Archon had a power more sinister than that. Lies are comforting if one uses it correctly and thus with it you can break a man if you show them a comforting lie and then tear it away.
"Aya..." A voice spoke and thus Aya was met with an image she wanted to see for so long.
"Mom?" Aya asked as she saw the phantom of her mother before the Zariman Incident so long ago. The Tenno were defeated by these new Archons as Riyo found herself surrounded by Sentient drones ready to shoot if she tries anything.
(Meanwhile with Anakin and Akin)
The two were still fighting off Sentient Drone unites as they kept moving through the factory. As they fought their way through the Sentient, they had the upper hand against these machines. Even if they manage to adapt Akin used a Void Beam to reset each of them while also causing damage to his many foes. It was not until the entire belt came to a stop that the two noticed the Sentient had all stopped attacking.
"What the?" Akin asked as he saw that something wasn't right.
"I would suggest that you two standdown." Somnus said as the duo looked and saw Stalker approaching holding the weapon that acted as Somnus conduit. With them was the Archons with three of them holding the Tenno while making sure that if they use Transference that they would regret it for two reasons. The first reason was that Riyo Chuchi was being held at gun point by one of the Archons and even without it the wolf head of Amar would tear Riyo's throat out without hesitation. The second reason though made Anakin's blood boil beyond all recognition. Before his eyes much to his horror was Ahsoka strung up and crucified like some morbid trophy of some brutal warlord. Her body was riddled with injuries as it almost looked like she wasn't breathing. Her clothing was torn up and from the looks of it she barely had the strength to even move.
"M-master." Ahsoka struggled as she knew she failed because Somnus used her as bait and the bait caught the prey.
"Ahsoka!" Anakin called out only for Stalker to hold his weapon towards Ahsoka.
"Not so fast Jedi." Somnus warned as he glared at Anakin promising the Jedi Knight suffering if he tried it. "A step closer and I may forget that your apprentice is in need of medical attention." Somnus said as Akin glared at the new Archon units around them.
Anakin glared at them as well and sensed something and that they were strong with the Force. "Marvelous are they not?" Somnus asked as he looked to the group. "You apprentice had proven to be a most excellent mother in their creation." Somnus said as Anakin glared at the Sentient strategist.
"Mother?" Anakin asked as Akin did not like the sound of that.
"Of course, her Micochlorines as well as her connection to the Force had seen to their births my new Archons." Somnus said as Anakin realized that Somnus used Ahsoka to create these abominations. "Allow me to properly introduce them the Convor Ashla." He said gesturing to the female Archon. "The Loth-Wolf Bogan." Somnus went on as he introduced the second one. "And finally, Tython the dragon." Somnus said almost enjoying this, but he was simply doing it for the psychological aspect.
"Great now let them go!" Anakin snarled but Somnus begged to differ on this.
"I think not." Somnus said much to Anakin's rage. "But I am willing to trade her medical attention and you will take her place." Somnus said which surprised Anakin when he said this. "Refuse and she will die while you are made to watch and still take her place." Somnus said making it clear Anakin had no choice in the matter. "I would decide quickly I doubt you can save them all, find a ship, and escape before your apprentice expires." Somnus said as Anakin through the force could feel Ahsoka's life force slowly fading if she didn't receive medical attention now.
Gripping his lightsaber tight enough to break it Anakin gritted his teeth as he saw no way out of this. Thus, with much struggle he deactivated his weapon and dropped the lightsaber which Bogan took and held it away from the Jedi. "You win." Anakin said as Akin also surrendered knowing that Somnus had them beaten this time.
"Very good." Somnus said and in turn Anakin had force restricting cuff slapped onto his wrists.
(Scene Break later with Somnus)
The Tenno were stripped of their weapons and frames as said gear was held in a stasis field with Umbra still restrained struggling to get free. As Somnus looked to the sight before him in his lab he began preparing it for his next round of experiments. Ahsoka was given the bare requirements for medical aid, so she won't die but keeping her weak enough to prevent Anakin from considering an escape attempt. As Somnus stood there he soon heard the door open and thus Stalker looked to see Riyo Chuchi being escorted inside.
"Ah Senator Chuchi a pleasure to meet you I do hope there are no hard feelings between us." Somnus began as he looked to the Republic Senator of the Pantoran Assembly. "I simply needed a means to establish myself among the Separatists and you provided to me the means at the time." Somnus said making it clear what he did was in no way personal.
"And I suppose I should be grateful for that?" Chiyo asked in an accusing tone but kept it leveled and focused. "Regardless at the moment you are holding a Jedi Knight and his Padawan Learner as well as fived valued allies of the Republic." Riyo said listing off who Somnus has. "I'm formally asking that you release them into Republic custody." Riyo said glaring at Somnus.
"You are in no position to make demands Senator." Somnus said making it clear that would not happen. "I have done my research and as of right now Anakin Skywalker is a valued test subject and the Tenno are my key bargaining chips as is Ms. Tano." Somnus said making it clear he would only keep his end so long as Anakin continues to cooperate with him.
"And the poultry medical attention you have provided?" Riyo asked as Somnus saw the tone she used. "You who claim to be Sentient yet had only provided the bare minimum needed to keep her alive?" Riyo went on and thus Somnus began to get annoyed. "You may claim to be of Sentient thought, but you act as much of a droid as the Separatists own Droid Army." Riyo said and in turn Somnus glared and kept a controlled stance on this.
"I believe this conversation is over." Somnus said and in turn the Sentient grabbed Riyo's arms and began to drag her away.
Once the Pantoran was gone Shadow had to ask the Sentient. "Orders?" He asked and thus Somnus smirked to this.
"Just one... stay still." Somnus said and just as the weapon went dark Shadow was hit from behind by the Archons sending him to the ground. "In the end Shadow you yourself are a Warframe and in turn ideal for my Archon experiments." Somnus said as Shadow saw he had been duped.
"Deceiver!" Shadow snarled as he glared at Somnus via the video image from the terminal.
"Worry not Shadow." Somnus said as the Archons began to surround Shadow. "Soon you shall be freed of your pain and you're suffering." Somnus said as Stalker glared at the Sentient while the Archons all surrounded Stalker prepared to add a new brother to their ranks. "Soon I shall do what Hunhow failed and bring victory for the Sentient." Somnus said making it clear that nothing would stop this objective not Hunhow and not morality. "Once it is done, we may at last return home as heroes of Tau." He said and thus he began to make the preparations for his experiments.
(Scene Break Prison Cells)
After they were all captured the Tenno stripped of their Warframes were in a Void disrupting cell. No doubt since Somnus knew he could not kill them imprisoning them was the next best thing. As the Tenno were all in the cell, they looked to either side knowing their current situation. In the cell to their left Anakin and Ahsoka were there as Ahsoka was still hurt bad no doubt kept weakened for the sole purpose of keeping Anakin from trying to escape the cell.
On the other side Riyo was given her own cell as Akin was sitting on the wall closes to her cell. As they all sat it was clear to them what was to come. "Dammit!" Titus cursed as he slammed his fist into the wall not caring if it hurt him or not. "We got played again!" Titus cursed as he was clearly angry about Somnus pulling this deception off.
"Just be glad it wasn't another Ballas." Mari said as she sat cross legged seething over what Somnus pulled off.
"And how is that any better?!" Titus asked and thus Mari gave him an annoyed look showing that she still remembered when Ballas controlled the Origin System through Narmer Veils. "Right stupid question." Titus admitted and thus sat down but still very annoyed over what had happened to them.
"Zed, do you have any ideas?" Aya asked as she looked to Zed.
"None Somnus had these cells custom catered to our abilities and our individual strengths." Zed said as he sat by the corner. "The only way we're getting out is via a rescue team or pure dumb luck." Zed said as he sat with his eyes closed with his face scrunched into a scowl.
"So, what we just sit down and pray?" Aya asked as she really hoped Zed wasn't giving up.
"If it gets results maybe." Zed said but he was not a praying type. After all praying did little to help his friends that actions could not do sooner and better. "Still won't get us out we just need time." Zed said as Aya looked down a bit.
"Time we might not have much of." Aya said fearing the worst outcome. After all, Ballas had nearly offed Zed by flinging the Tenno directly into the Void when Narmer defeated the Origins alliance.
Meanwhile over with Akin he sat on the wall and just felt Riyo on the other side of it somehow. Well not much as felt since there was enough gap between the cells for them to be seen. "I'm guessing it didn't go as planned?" Akin asked as he looked to Riyo.
"No, it did not." Riyo said with regret in her voice.
"I see." Akin said as he looked down sadly knowing what he wanted was beyond his reach. "I'm sorry." Akin said as he wished he could have changed things somehow.
"Don't be." Riyo said and thus she began to whisper too Akin. "Perhaps its due to the fact that we might die or maybe I would have come around eventually." Riyo said making sure she was quiet.
"Huh?" Akin asked as he was concerned and curious as to what Riyo was talking about.
"I love you." Riyo spoke suddenly surprising Akin to no end.
"Wait what?" Akin asked as he was caught off guard by this but kept his tone done so the others did not hear him. "But I thought you said it could not happen due to your position as a Senator and how it would look should it come out that…" Akin said but Riyo cut him off.
"I know." She said but was calm about this. "If we did pursue it, we'd be forced to live a lie for the sake of the Republic and the Origin System." Riyo said as she sat there. "A lie that would destroy our lives in the end." Riyo said as she knew what was to come. "But love should not be about one's body but one's heart or so I'm told." Riyo said as she had heard of some beings who suffered afflictions that made them appear younger than they truly were.
"Stop talking like this we're going to get out of it somehow." Akin said but Riyo begged to differ.
"Perhaps not Somnus had thought of every scenario that we'd try to escape with. Chances are we may end up dead here or gravely injured." Riyo said as she sat there in her cell alone with Akin as her only company through the wall. "We might as well put it out there before the end." Riyo said as she did not want to risk her career and seeing as it may not matter soon, she might as well.
"Don't give up just yet there has to be a way and we'll find it." Akin said as he would not let Riyo give up so easily. "After all we Tenno have gotten out of worst situations." Akin said as he remembered the Zariman when Zed… No.
(Meanwhile with Anakin and Ahsoka)
"Master…" Ahsoka struggled as he and his Padawan both had collars to keep them from using the Force.
"Don't worry Ahsoka I'm here." Anakin said as he tried to keep Ahsoka from using too much strength.
"I'm sorry I let you down." Ahsoka said as she was tired, and her body was broken from Somnus experiments on her.
"You didn't let me down Ahsoka we'll get out of this and get you to a Republic medical facility." Anakin said but Ahsoka begged to differ.
"No… master no way… no way out." Ahsoka said as she looked to her master her eyes bruised and tear stained. "Before… before the end confession." Ahsoka said as Anakin was wide eyed to this. "I know… about you and Senator Amidala." Ahsoka said and thus Anakin was surprised by this.
"W-what?" Anakin asked as he looked to Ahsoka in shock.
"I know." Ahsoka said and thus Anakin was shocked to find out someone knew.
"How long?" Anakin asked as he could not make sense of it.
"Since the Blue Shadow Virus. On Naboo." Ahsoka struggled to say as Anakin heard this.
"Ahsoka I…" Anakin began but Ahsoka cut her off.
"I know but didn't make it hurt less." Ahsoka said and thus Anakin was shocked. "I thought you could trust me with something like that." Ahsoka said as Anakin looked away in shame. "But I guess you couldn't not with something like that." Ahsoka said as Anakin had no idea what to say here. "You've always been like a brother and a father to me but in the end, it was just master and apprentice… I." Ahsoka said and thus she lost consciousness.
Going wide eye Anakin tried to wake Ahsoka up. "Ahsoka! Ahsoka!" Anakin called but Ahsoka only snored showing she was resting from what Somnus had done before. "Kriff If I could I'd give you my light to heal you!" Anakin cursed but before he could lash out something was heard.
A chuckle of amusement went off nearby as with it a knocking was heard. Looking to the cell he saw sitting by the door was a familiar figure knocking on it. "Then why don't you, little Annie?" The Man in the Wall Spoke turning to look at Anakin with is blank eyes and near sadistic grin. "In fact, why don't I do it for you, Annie?" The Man in the Wall spoke as it was clear that what he predicted was coming to pass Anakin had come crawling back to the being.
