Chapter 4 CHAOS: Stairway To Heaven
Isabeau and Gina were stunned to see what was left of the angels and Flynn covered in blood. Flynn turned to them, noticing their stunned expressions. He looked down at himself before lowering his head.
"Flynn.", Isabeau said in concern.
"…..", Flynn didn't reply as he continued forward.
They found another set of three doors. The angels came right out as if they knew what happened before and very smartly decided to duel instead of attack.
"We can beat these fellows, Flynn. Go on ahead.". Isabeau said and Flynn nodded.
She frowned seeing he still didn't seem very talkative right now. He blasted away the door and the angels stood in front of the woman to prevent them from joining him.
"It's bad enough that filth was able to barge his way through.", angel 1 said.
"We will not allow you filth to go any further.", angel 2 said.
"What's with all this filth talk?", Gina questioned.
"I'm not sure. All I know is that they're intent on dueling us.", Isabeau replied.
The woman raised up their gauntlets and the angels materialized sparkling white duel disks.
"Duel!", the four said.

"I shall activate Reinforcements of the Army to add Photon Thrasher to my hand.", Isabeau said.

"I see you intend to end this quick…", Gina commented.
"I shall tune Airbellum and Boggart Knight! A warrior clad in the red banner rises to help his comrades! He crushes evil with his overwhelming strength! Synchro summon! Level 7! X-Saber Souza!", Isabeau chanted.
The angels oddly didn't seem to react to this or the fact she had so many monsters on the field which put them on edge.
"I shall activate the effect of Faultroll to special summon Airbellum from the graveyard. A warrior must rise in a world writhe with conflict! It's time to head out X soldier! Synchro summon! Level 7! X-Saber Urbellum!", Isabeau chanted.
"I shall then activate Monster Reborn to revive Airbellum.", Isabeau said.

"I shall tune Airbellum and Faultroll! Now, X-Sabers! Lead the way for your great general! His grand sword will slay all evil in his path! Synchro summon! Level 9! XX-Saber Gottoms!", Isabeau chanted.
"What's with these fellows? They don't seem shaken at all.", Isabeau thought.
"I shall set a card and end my turn.", Isabeau said.

"For the Lord. I shall tune Counselor Lily and Airknight Parshath to synchro summon Avenging Knight Parshath.", Parshath said without an ounce of passion even as he flew into the field.

"I shall use the effect of Lily-", Parshath was saying.
"Not so fast! I activate Saber Hole letting negate your summon as long as I have an X-Saber monster on the field!", Isabeau countered as the angel slipped into a pitfall.

"…..I shall set a card.", Parshath said.
"Nice one, Isabeau! I draw!", Gina said and Isabeau smiled.

"I shall activate E - Emergency Call allowing me to add an Elemental HERO monster to my hand. I choose Stratos.", Gina said.

"I shall activate the effect King of the Swamp allowing me to discard it to add Polymerization to my hand.", Gina said.

"Then, I shall activate Polymerization to fuse Elemental HERO Ocean and Elemental HERO Necroshade in my hand! The frightful night shrinks way for the rising of the sun! With its power to create and destroy I shall cut down evil spirits! Fusion summon! Level 7! Elemental HERO Sunrise!", Gina chanted as she was surrounded by a tornado of fire.
She jumped onto the battlefield turning into the red armored hero.

Effect: Must be Fusion Summoned. Monsters you control gain 200 ATK for each different Attribute you control. You can only use each of the following effects of "Elemental HERO Sunrise" once per turn.
If this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Miracle Fusion" from your Deck to your hand.
When an attack is declared involving another "HERO" monster you control: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it.
"Looking good.", Isabeau replied with a thumbs up.
"My effect increases the attack of every monster on our fields by 200 for each different attribute we have! Solar Radiance!", Gina said as she outstretched her hands.
The rays of the sun touched the monsters through the clouds making a fiery aura appear around them.

"Woah…That's a lot of attack.", Isabeau commented stunned.
"It's only gonna get worse for them! I shall activate Stratos' effect allowing me to destroy spell or trap cards on the field equal to the number of HEROes I control besides Stratos! So say goodbye to your trap angels!", Gina said.
Stratos cleared away the facedown with a tornado leaving their field completely empty.
"Then, I shall activate Miracle Fusion to fuse Stratos and Necroshade! Hero dwelling within the darkness of night! Appear to catch the criminals trying to flee in the shadows! Fusion summon! Level 8! Elemental HERO Escuridao!", Gina chanted.

"Oh…This is going to be over sooner than expected.", Isabeau said as she sweat dropped.
"That's what happens when you have teamwork. Now, I shall attack Parshath directly with Urbellum!", Gina declared.

"Now, I shall attack you directly with Escuridao! Darkness Buster!", Gina declared.

"Such filth. We shall exterminate the filth.", Vylon Omega said.
"Exterminate this! Rising Sun Fist!", Gina declared as she uppercut Parshath sending him flying.

"You are unclean and overflowing with filth. We shall exterminate the filth.", Omega said.
"They remind me of the crown Samurai…It's quite disturbing.", Isabeau said, sounding uneased.
"Yeah…They're just parroting lines at us like they only know a few phrases.", Gina replied as she sweated nervously.
"Let's just get going.", Isabeau said.
"Good idea.", Gina replied.
Not long after Walter arrived riding on Red Dragon Archfiend.
"Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!", Walter sweat dropped as he watched the angels seem to short circuit like Sandaion.
Flynn jumped off of Stardust Dragon when he found a long hallway. Stardust Dragon looked over to Flynn and roared.
"Don't forget your friends are with you.", the roar translated to.
Flynn looked over to Stardust Dragon before patting his head and smiling.
"Thank you, Stardust.", Flynn said, he dematerialized him.
Flynn turned to the door not knowing what was behind it. He hoped that it was Mikado. The Samurai opened up the massive doors normally since there was no barrier.
He looked around confused when he saw no one in sight. Suddenly the flapping of wings could be heard. A single gray feather fell from the sky which he caught. Before him slowly descended a dragon that looked a lot like Judgement Dragon, but his feathers were gray and messy.
"Judgment Dragon…?", Flynn questioned in confusion.
"Wrong, unclean filth. I am Punishment Dragon.", the dragon replied.
"What happened to Jonathan? Gaston said something about him becoming you? Why would he do that?", Flynn questioned.
"Because my arrival is the will of G.O.D. If G.O.D. wills it shall be so. No matter what that filth thought on the matter.", Punishment Dragon replied.
"Hoy, what are you saying?!", Flynn questioned as he paled.
"He has been sacrificed to give me form so that I may purge this universe of filth.", Punishment Dragon replied.
"What do you mean sacrificed?! Don't tell me…His soul…", Flynn questioned as he panicked.
"He no longer exists. That is his punishment for defying the will of the Lord.", Punishment Dragon replied.
"…..", Flynn was silent, hardly able to believe what he was hearing.
"This has to be some sort of joke, right?", Flynn thought as his mind flashed back rapidly to all the times they spent together.
Despite not needing to breathe he found himself inhaling rapidly. He knew what Judgement Dragon spoke of doing was a perversion of the peace Jonathan desired. His fellow had just wanted everyone to live happily like they used to not kill innocents.
He felt fire rising up within him in response to the unparalleled rage he felt. No he was sure his rage felt much more potent now because he had the rage of two beings. Flynn shook, feeling like he was going to explode in pure outrage. He growled as his eyes glowed brighter and a dark aura burst out from him.
"You bastard!!!", Flynn and Doomkaiser roared in unison.
They're size started to grow as their form became more dragonic. His mouth unhinged revealing a row of razor sharp teeth and his horns became longer and more pronounced. He hunched over as his legs became more animal-like. His cape was tattered by the force and jewels around him waved wildly.
"You have become a base demon overflowing with filth.", Punishment Dragon replied.
"I'm going to destroy you…!", Flynn hissed as his eyes glowed menacingly.
"Duel!/Holy Duel!", the two said.
"For the Lord! I draw!", Punishment Dragon said.

"I shall activate Charge of the Light Brigade, allowing me to add a level 4 or lower Lightsworn monster to my hand and then send the top three cards of my deck to the graveyard. I choose Ryko, Twilightsworn Fighter.", Punishment Dragon said.
The cards sent were: Lyla Twilightsworn Enchantress, Golden Bamboo Sword, and Wulf Lightsworn Beast.
"I shall activate the effect of Wulf allowing me to special summon him when he is sent from the deck to the graveyard.", Punishment Dragon said.
Flynn growled, seeming practically feral. His vision was completely red. It was a miracle he didn't instantly pounce on Punishment Dragon.
"Filth. I shall summon Lumina and use her effect to discard a card and then special summon one level 4 or lower Lightsworn monster in my graveyard. I choose the Raiden I discarded.", Punishment Dragon said.

"I shall activate the effect of Raiden, allowing me to send the top two cards of my deck to the graveyard.", Punishment Dragon said.
The cards sent were: Card Destruction and Glow-Up Bulb.
"I shall tune Raiden and Lumina! With time the sacred guardian in metal armor's spirit has not drained, instead his determination for justice grows! He will rise up carrying the hopes of the powerless on his back using his mechanical body to surpass his limits! Synchro summon! Level 7! Power Tool Dragon!", Punishment Dragon chanted.
Power Tool lowered his head, seeming saddened.
"I shall activate the effect of Power Tool Dragon! You must randomly pick one of three equip cards of my choosing from my deck! Mystic Armorment Roulette!", Punishment Dragon said.
The cards were: United We Stand, Mage Power, and Double Tool C .
Flynn growled before pointing at the right one.
"I shall equip Power Tool Dragon with Mage Power.", Punishment Dragon said.

"I shall set a card and end my turn.", Punishment Dragon said.

"I draw!!!", Flynn growled as the was a powerful wind and a chorus of ghostly howls.

"I shall activate Call of the Mummy and use its effect to special summon Necroworld Banshee.", Flynn said.

Necroworld Banshee's eyes widened, looking very concerned to see Flynn's current form.
"Flynn?!", slipped out of her lips hardly holding in a frightful scream.
Flynn didn't respond to this, only making her concern grow.
"It's pointless. His soul has become completely polluted with filth. He's nothing more than a drooling demon now.", Punishment Dragon said, in disgust.
Necroworld Banshee looked over to Flynn as she sweated nervously.
"I shall activate Synchro Overtake, allowing me to special summon or add to my hand a Synchro material listed on a Synchro monster in my extra deck…I shall special summon Plaguespreader Zombie.", Flynn said and revealed Doomkaiser.

The tuner couldn't hold in a frightful scream.
"Flynn, are you alright?!", Plaguespreader asked.
"I shall tune Plaguespreader Zombie…And Necroworld Banshee! Arise until my enemies have been felled the dragon of the undying! Drag them all down into the depths of Zombie World! Synchro summon! Level 6! Immortal Dragon!", Flynn chanted.
Immortal Dragons shivered intensely even more frightened of Flynn now then he was before.
"I shall activate the effect of Immortal Dragon which allows me to send one zombie monster from my deck to my graveyard and his level is reduced. I choose…Me!", Flynn said.

"Even other polluted souls are fearful at the sight of you…To think you could have fallen so far…", Punishment Dragon said, seeming to sound like Jonathan for a moment.
Something in Flynn reacted for a moment before being smothered by rage.
"I shall banish Necroworld Banshee to activate Zombie World from my deck! Melody of Souls!", Flynn said.
Necroworld Banshee reappeared to sing her tune. Oddly she sung a different one than usual and Flynn froze.
Flashback
A young Flynn was shivering after another nightmare involving Doomking. His mother had come into the room after hearing his screams. She rubbed his head trying to calm him down.
"I saw that scary zombie in my dream again…I hate zombies…They're way too scary…", the young Flynn murmured as tears stung his eyes.
"It will be alright, little Flynn. Me and your father are here to protect you.", Maria assured.
She started singing a lullaby to calm him down and help him return to sleep.
Flashback end
Flynn blinked rapidly as the red in his vision started to clear up and his clarity returned. He grabbed his head growling in pain as he shrunk down to his more humanoid form. When he opened his eyes he saw Zombie World around him and Necroworld Banshee with a relieved smile.
"Mom-Necroworld Banshee…? What happened? Where am I?", Flynn questioned as he still held his head.
If he still had a heart it would be beating rapidly against his chest.
"I don't really know either, but I'm glad you're back to your senses.", Necroworld Banshee replied, before she disappeared.
