Chapter 6 CHAOS: The Final Summit
The Samurai stepped through the portal into a strange realm with a bunch of floating platforms. There they saw a group of people dueling.
"Attack Ultimate Conductor Tyranno! Ultimate Smash!", a teen with blue haired declared.
His opponent had Garlandolf and a small angel with a nurse outfit on the field. His monsters were suddenly flipped down and there was an explosion.

"Damn it…", he cursed as he reverted back to a more human form with black hair and red eyes.
"We win, Naoya! Now give up!", the blue haired teen said.
"Heh. This is far from over. Just wait till Lucifer shows up.", the silver haired man replied.
Their attentions was suddenly drawn by the group of Samurai walking in.
"Sorry but Lucifer isn't coming. This fellow here is the new big guy.", Walter said as he pointed at Flynn.
"What on Earth are you talking about?", Naoya questioned.
"Lucifer's dead and the spirits are under my command now.", Flynn said as his arms were crossed.
Everyone looked surprised to hear this.
"This feeling…", a female spirit said as she narrowed her eyes.
Something about Flynn's power felt eerily familiar to her.
"What do you mean? How did you kill Lucifer?!", a teen with a beanie questioned.
"That doesn't matter. The only thing that does is that I'm here to defeat G.O.D.", Flynn replied.
The forces of chaos seemed hardly able to believe Flynn's words, but they felt an immense power radiating from him.
"So, that means you're in charge now then?", Naoki questioned.
"You are not going a single step near G.O.D., Doom Originator!", the female spirit said as she narrowed her eyes at Flynn.
"I'm not Doom Originator. My name is Flynn.", Flynn replied.
"Nonsense. You have become the same as him.", the female spirit replied.
"You're wrong. Flynn is his own person. He decided to duel G.O.D. to save Tokyo.", Isabeau replied.
"What are you talking about? His angels helped us save Tokyo!", a red haired girl questioned, making them confused.
"That's not what his angels have been saying. They kept prattling on about 'exterminating the filth' and destroying Tokyo.", Walter replied.
"I know it may be confusing, but things aren't as they appear. The Lord is not the evil tyrant you think he is.", a girl with purple hair replied.
"I understand fine. I saw how your Lord sent some mystic relic to kill his own believers. It's disgusting.", Walter replied.
"Exactly. Clearly he spurns humanity too much to be kept in power.", Flynn said as the female spirit narrowed your eyes.
"You're just trying to become the Lord of All yourself. Just as you've always done.", the female spirit replied.
The others turned to Flynn confused by her claim.
"Heh. You really will make up anything to defend G.O.D. won't you, Vrash.", Flynn replied.
"You say that as if I'm wrong.", Vrash replied.
"Wait what's going on? How does he know you and who's Doom Originator?!", the teen with a beanie questioned.
"Doom Originator is the mere shadow of a once great entity which that man is a part of.", Vrash replied pointing at Flynn.
"If you are really planning such a thing I must stop you.", the purple haired girl replied.
"I'll face him.", the blue haired boy said as he got in front of the girl.
"Doom Originator is my greatest shame. We must defeat him.", Vrash replied.
"Well, if you're so antsy to duel you can duel me.", Walter said as he faced the blue haired teen and raised his gauntlet.
"I suppose we'll have to duel the other fellows then.", Gina said as she raised her gauntlet.
"Right…", Isabeau replied.
Not that she doubted Flynn but something about Vrash's accusations made her feel off. Something about Flynn seemed different after he returned from his beastal form. She couldn't put her finger on it but something just changed. She hoped there wasn't something still wrong with Flynn.

"Is he using wingless dragons…?", Walter questioned.
"You mean a dinosaur?", the teen with a beanie questioned.
"Is that what Odd-Eyes is?", Walter questioned as the others' sweat dropped.
"When this monster is normal or special summoned I can either add to my hand or send one dinosaur monster from my deck to the graveyard. I will send Hyper Hammerhead.", Kazuya said.

"How strange…", Walter murmured, completely perplexed by these creatures Kazuya was summoning.
"When Petiteranodon is destroyed I can special summon a level 4 or higher dinosaur monster from my deck. I choose Super-Ancient Dinobeast.", Kazuya said.

"Oh…I see your deck benefits from blowing up your own monsters. It's just like the Meklords.", Walter said.
"The what…?", Kazuya questioned, cluelessly.
"I suppose you've never dueled against them before then?", Walter replied.
"No I haven't. When Oviraptor destroys a dinosaur monster with an effect I can special summon a dinosaur monster from my graveyard in defense mode. I choose Hyper Hammerhead.", Kazuya said.

"Woah that's a lot of dudes.", Walter said as if he didn't spam a bunch of monsters himself.
"There will be more of that soon. When a dinosaur monster is special summoned from the graveyard while I have Dinobeast on the field I can draw one card. Then I will set two. I will end my turn.", Kazuya replied.

"Unfortunately I don't have too many traps any more. Though with this field it shouldn't be a problem. These should act as good bait.", Kazuya thought.
"That jerk and all his stupid fossils…Crush that that jerk and avenge Demi-Fiend!", the tiny angel said.
"Indeed. I draw!", Walter replied.

"I will activate the effect of Fabled Raven allowing me to discard any number of cards to allow him to gain 400 attack and 1 level.", Walter said.

"Then, I will tune Fabled Raven and Sillva!", Walter said.
"What?!", Kazuya questioned.
"Out from within a scorching inferno a legendary dragon awakens! His savage soul shall bend to no one! Synchro summon! Level 8! Red Dragon Archfiend!", Walter chanted.
Kazuya and the others who were there before to see the Synchro summon take place.
"His card's border is white…?", Kazuya questioned.
"Hoy, haven't you ever seen a Synchro monster before?", Walter questioned.
"A what? I've never heard of that kind of card before. I've seen Ritual and Fusion summoning, but nothing like what you just did.", Kazuya replied.
"Huh…Now, that I think about something I remember hearing something about only Synchro dimension having access to Synchro summoning.", Walter replied.
"You're from one of the other dimensions then? I'm from Ritual dimension.", Kazuya replied.
"Yup, I'm from Synchro. I didn't know there was a Ritual dimension though…Ah whatever! I will activate Dark World Dealings forcing us to both discard and draw.", Walter said.
"Me too? I guess I'll discard this guy.", Kazuya replied, sending Ultimate Tyranno.
"This triggers my Broww's effect which allows me to draw a card when he's discarded.", Walter said.

"Then, I will activate the effect of Synkron Resonator which lets me special summon him when there is a Synchro monster on the field.", Walter said.

I will tune Synkron Resonator and Red Dragon Archfiend! Demon King unleashed from the darkness of the abyss!! His rage explodes!! Synchro summon! Level 9! Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss!!", Walter chanted as his Signer mark glowed brightly.
Kazuya had to crane his neck up to get a full view of the massive dragon. He was stunned by its sheer size.
"Then, I will activate Dark Fusion to let me fusion summon an Evil Hero monster! I will fuse Grapha and Big Piece Golem! Arise a dauntless fiend from the great inferno! You hold the power to rock the entire world! Level 8! Evil HERO Dark Gaia!", Walter chanted.", Walter chanted.

"A fusion monster this time?", Kazuya questioned.
"He gains the attack points of his fusion materials and your defense position monsters are all changed to face up attack! Dark HEROic Legion!", Walter said.

"That's a lot of attack…", Kazuya commented.
"Then, I will activate the effect of my dragon to negate the effect of your Hyper Hammerhead. Tyrant's Fury!", Walter declared.
"You've got to be kidding me.", Kazuya replied.
"I will attack your Hyper Hammer Head with my Red Dragon! Overlord Power Force!", Walter declared as his dragon lunged forward.
He he shot a powerful blast of darkness and fire from his hands incinerating the dinosaur.

"Then, I will attack your blue wingless dragon with Dark Gaia! Infernal Hell Blaze!", Walter declared.

"That's impossible?! How could Kazuya lose and so quickly too!", the teen with a beanie questioned.
"One turn kill is my specialty. I'm the best there is at it.", Walter replied.
Meanwhile with Flynn…
"For the Lord! I draw!", Amane said.

"I will summon Petite Angel and use its effect to add a Machine Angel Ritual to my hand.", Amane said.

Flynn narrowed his eyes when he heard 'Ritual'.
"Then, I will activate Machine Angel Ritual tributing Benten and Petite Angel! Holy Lord please give your blessing…A fierce angel arrives on the battlefield! She beats away evil with her many blades! Ritual summon! Level 8! Cyber Angel Izana!", Amane chanted as she put her arms in a prayer position.

The ritual circle was different than usual glowing golden as if blessed with holy light. The monsters seemed to willingly offer themselves to the circle.

"There's something different about her Ritual summoning. Those from Ritual dimension that use it don't have the same foul aura as those from other dimensions.", Flynn thought.
Though it was hard for him to separate this Ritual summoning from the kind he'd become far too acquainted with. Vrash watched Flynn very closely not taking her eyes off him for a moment.
"Then, I will activate Preparation of Rites allowing me to add a level 7 or lower Ritual monster to my deck to my hand and a Ritual spell from my graveyard. I choose Cyber Angel Idaten and Machine Angel Ritual.", Amane said.

"Then, I will activate Machine Angel Ritual once more tributing Idaten and Djinn Presider of Rituals! Holy Lord please give your blessing…Angel of hope, user in a new era of salvation for all mankind! Your holy light pierces through all darkness! Ritual summon! Level 10! Cyber Angel Vishnu!", Amane chanted.

The angel glared at Flynn as she went over to the battlefield.
"Just so you know, 'Flynn'. Only Doom Originator or as he is now Doomking calls me Vrash. That's how I know you've been influenced by him.", Vrash or Vishnu said.

Effect: You can Ritual Summon this card with "Machine Angel Ritual". If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can destroy as many face-up monsters your opponent controls as possible that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each, and if you do that, this card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. "I'll destroy Doomking after I defeat you and G.O.D.", Flynn replied.
"That will not happen. When Idaten is used as a tribute all my Ritual monsters gain 1000 attack. Graceful Prayer!", Amane said.

"She assembled a truly annoying field.", Flynn thought.
"I will end my turn. Please turn back from this destructive path. If you are truly once one with Vishnu you must have some virtue in you.", Amane said.
Flynn didn't know why, but he felt an instinctive annoyance at hearing her be called Vishnu. Just hearing it felt unbelievably grating to his ears. It was like hearing the most unbelievable blasphemy ever.
"She's not Vishnu! She's nothing more than a tool of G.O.D.!", Flynn hissed as his eyes flashed red.
"That's exactly what Doom Originator would say. You think that you're freeing yourself, but you're merely being controlled by that desire you inherited from him.", Vishnu replied as she narrowed her eyes.
"…..I'm going to annihilate you. I draw!", Flynn said as there was a fierce wind and chorus of ghostly howls.

"Don't let her get in your head, Flynn. She's messing with you just like Punishment Dragon.", Isabeau said, briefly turning her attention to Flynn.
His eyes widened and he felt himself become calmer. Amane and Vishnu took note of this exchange. Isabeau seemed to make Flynn's aura visibly brighten.
"His soul is not completely dark and he has loved ones. It's still very possible for him to turn back from this path.", Amane thought.
"I shall activate Pot of Greed letting me draw two cards!", Flynn said.

"I shall activate the effect of Photon Thrasher allowing me to special summon him when I control no monsters.", Flynn said.

"Then, I shall activate Synchro Overtake allowing me to add or special summon one of the listed materials for a Synchro monster in my extra deck. I choose to special summon Plaguespreader Zombie.", Flynn said.

"Zombies as I expected…", Vishnu commented.
"I shall tune Plaguespreader Zombie and Photon Thrasher! Arise until my enemies have been felled the dragon of the undying! Drag them all down into the depths of Zombie World! Synchro summon! Level 6! Immortal Dragon!", Flynn chanted.
"A Death General…", Vishnu murmured.
"It's a real Synchro monster…", Amane commented, making sure to keep her guard raised.
"I shall activate the effect of Immortal Dragon to send a zombie monster from my deck to the graveyard then his level changes to the difference between the levels of those monsters. I choose Spirit Reaper.", Flynn said.

"Then, I shall summon Zombie Master.", Flynn said.

"I shall activate the effect of Zombie Master sending a monster from my hand to the graveyard to allow me to special summon a level 4 or lower zombie monster from my graveyard. I choose Plaguespreader Zombie.", Flynn said as he discarded Mezuki.

"I shall tune Plaguespreader Zombie and Zombie Master! Ruler of darkness slumbering within the depths! Rise up once more to reclaim your kingdom! Synchro summon! Level 6! Revived King Ha Des!", Flynn chanted.
"Another one?! And you have the audacity to say you're not Doom Originator?", Vishnu questioned.
"I stole Doomking's Death Generals from him so they're mine now. I shall banish Mezuki to return Zombie Master to the field.", Flynn replied.
"Whatever's coming it's not good.", Amane thought especially when she saw the spirit's wariness.
"I shall activate his effect again bringing back Plaguespreader Zombie.", Flynn said as he discarded Necroworld Banshee.

"I shall tune Immortal Dragon with Zombie Master! Please hear my prayer, great dragon with glistening translucent wings…Strike down injustice with divine speed! Synchro summon! Level 7! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!", Flynn chanted.
Vishnu's eyes widened in horror.
"You've acquired her?!", Vishnu questioned.
"Hey, Flynn's not that bad. He just happens to be a headstrong idiot who gets himself in precarious situations all the time.", Clear Wing replied and Flynn sweat dropped.
"Are you trying to say I'm an idiot?", Flynn questioned.
"I honestly didn't even think you knew what the word precarious meant.", Clear Wing replied.
Flynn felt himself blushing in embarrassment despite himself. He needs to be serious right now.
"I shall activate the effect of Necroworld Banshee banishing her from the graveyard to let me activate Zombie World from my deck. Melody of Souls!", Flynn said.
Suddenly the field around them became Zombie World. Vishnu seemed disgusted seeing the place.
"I shall activate my effect to send a spell or trap card in my hand to the graveyard to destroy a card you control! I choose Vrash! Death Spectral Blast!", Flynn said.

"I won't allow that I activate Vishnu's effect by shuffling a Ritual monster from my graveyard back into my deck to negate your effect and destroy your monster! Pure Lotus!", Amane countered, shuffling back Benten.
Her eyes widened when Flynn smirked.
"Perfect, I wanted to be in the graveyard anyway.", Flynn replied.
"Of course you're a foul zombie like Doom Originator.", Vishnu replied, sounding unamused.
"I'm a Samurai. I shall activate my effect sending a spell or trap on my field to the graveyard so I can return myself to my hand and then special summon a zombie monster from my hand which gains 1000 attack! Enduring Soul! Two souls with a bond surpassing death shall unite as one! The true emperor arises with the heart of a human and the fury of a raging dragon! Level 10! Eldlich the Golden Lord!", Flynn chanted.
Purple flames suddenly surrounded Flynn taking the shape of ghostly wisps. His form shifted as the flames covered him before they cleared away.

"This is his true form?", Amane questioned.
"What the hell?! Eldlich? That's impossible! Why are you helping them?", the teen with a beanie questioned.
"…..Huh?", Flynn questioned, completely oblivious as to what he was talking about.
"Wait! What do you mean?!", Vishnu questioned as she sweated intensely.
"We've met him before in our dimension. Don't you recognize us, Eldlich?", the red haired girl questioned.
Flynn was absolutely lost. He had no idea what they were talking about. Vishnu had a very troubled expression.
"What are you talking about? I've never been to any of the other dimensions.", Flynn replied, stunned.
"Exceedingly powerful spirits can surpass the concept of time allowing them to appear before they were even born.", Vishnu explained.
"…..I appeared in the past? Does that mean? That must be the reason why Vrash is so shaken.", Flynn thought.
He suddenly felt invigorated with confidence at the revelation he had.
"I shall tune Plaguespreader Zombie and Ha Des!
Pious dragon, fallen and abandoned into the depths of the netherworld arise once more! Your ferocious power shines through even in death! Synchro summon! Level 8! Skeletal Dragon Felgrand!", Flynn chanted.
"That makes three.", Vishnu thought.
"I shall activate the effect of Felgrand to banish a monster you control when he's special summoned! I choose Vrash! Necroclaw of the Undead!", Flynn said, still refusing to call her Vishnu.
Felgrand actually looked enthused right now when he was ordered to banish Vishnu. He swiped his claw at the cyber angel.
"I will activate Izana's effect shuffling back a Ritual monster from my graveyard to destroy a card you control when you target a Cyber Angel Ritual monster I control! Divine Denial!", Amane countered.
Vishnu's eyes widened warily as Clear Wing's wings glowed menacingly and Flynn smirked.
"I shall activate the effect of Clear Wing negating an effect of a level 5 or higher monster and destroying it! Then Clear Wing gains the original attack of that monster! Diocramic Mirror!", Flynn countered.
"Then, I will banish Cyber Angel Ritual to save a light monster I control from destruction!", Amane countered.
Vishnu grimaced as she left the field due to being banished. She froze as Flynn's smirk widened.
"You won't be able to defend against this. We've arrived at my image.", Flynn said, confidently.
He was covered in shadow as his eyes glowed a menacing red. Vishnu paled as she could feel the dark power within Flynn clearly. It was made more disturbing by the fact it was a corrupted version of the original Vishnu's.
"Doom Originator is merely a shadow of the original…He's been driven to continue his mission to defeat G.O.D. not to save humanity, but instead out of hatred. He was born from our worst aspects creating one of the greatest threats the existence has ever known. An ever returning threat that will not stop till he's crushed all his enemies. This boy is simply another coming of Doom Originator's crusade against the Lord…Another avatar of Doom Originator the inverse of everything we once were. A god not of preservation and the champion of mankind instead…A god of evil and scourge on mankind.", Vishnu thought.
"I shall attack Izana! Antichthon!", Flynn declared, with his flames clashing with the Ritual monster.
Amane looked stunned to see Flynn still standing as the smoke cleared.
"Did I forget to mention that when I'm special summoned this way I can't be destroyed by battle?", Flynn said.
Amane's eyes widened as she tensed. Her field was completely cleared with two dragons still staring down at her.
"I shall attack you directly with Clear Wing! Whirlwind Helldive Slasher!", Flynn declared.
Amane gasped in pain, surprised by the damage from the dragon's skydive.

Flynn felt a smirk unconsciously form on his face as Vishnu panicked. A black aura flashed around him for a moment. Vishnu and Amane swore they saw the silhouette of Doom Originator for a moment.
"I shall attack you directly with Felgrand! Phantasmal Ghastly Roar!", Flynn declared as the dragon breathed his flame.
Amane guarded the attack knowing the damage was coming this time. The blast ended up hitting both of them as Felgrand seemed to intentionally aim for Vishnu. She winced from the attack though it was most certainly nowhere near the power of true fire.
"Hehe. Pathetic faker. Doomking is the true Vishnu.", Felgrand said as he looked down at Vishnu who looked unamused.
Amane LP 1500 - 2800 = 0
"He beat Amane so easily?!", Kazuya questioned with wide eyes.
Their attention was drawn when Flynn neared them having returned to his human form. Something within his being urged him to devour Vishnu.
"We must become one…Then…!", Flynn thought.
His thoughts were cut short when Isabeau came over to his side having finished her duel. Flynn held his head before shaking it.
"I'm not like you…", Flynn murmured to himself.
Vishnu's eyes widened hearing this.
"Get out of my way! I've won so I'm facing G.O.D.!", Flynn said as he pointed.
"You could say it more nicely.", Isabeau said as she touched his shoulder, gaining Flynn's attention.
"Please.", Flynn added.
"I didn't know he had someone he like…You know!", the teen with a beanie said.
"Aww yes. They're each other's sweet ones.", Gina replied as the others looked stunned.
"His friends seem to be the only thing tethering him to his humanity.", Vishnu thought.
"Hah! You really are strong! We've finally did it!", Naoya said.
"I'm not sure that even Lucifer could have broken that board in a single turn. He's the strongest duelist I've ever seen. I need to surpass him…", Naoki thought.
"It seems everything has turned out the way you hoped.", Vishnu grimaced as she tried to get to her feet.
"As I said before…We've arrived at my image.", Flynn replied with his smile becoming eerie for a moment.
"You've manipulated everything to get to this point. Just what do you hope to accomplish?", Vishnu questioned.
Flynn turned his gaze away from Vishnu as he smiled.
"I'm going to save everyone.", Flynn replied.
"You two…Are truly exactly the same…You're just as mad as he is and in the end you'll never be satisfied.", Vishnu replied as Flynn's fellows looked completely confused hearing the conversation.
"Flynn…?", Isabeau questioned as doubt crept up in her.
"Everything will be fine, Isabeau.", Flynn replied.
Flynn and his fellows strode forth up a massive staircase. At the end was a massive door. Flynn pushed open the doors before having his fated battle with Genesis Omega Dragon.
"N-No! You cannot let someone with a heart as vile as his become god!", G.O.D. warned before he faded away during the duel's end.
Their attention was drawn when Flynn walked up to the throne.
"H-Hoy, Flynn! What are you doing?!", Walter questioned as his eyes widened.
"I thought you said-", Isabeau said, becoming very alarmed as Flynn was already sitting on the throne.
"I'm going to save everyone no matter how many times it takes. One day we'll all find…Salvation.", Flynn said as he raised up his hand.
At that moment they realized Vishnu was right. Flynn WAS exactly like Doom Originator or Doomking. Similarly madly pursuing his idea of salvation to enforce upon everyone.
"Trust me.", Flynn assured with the same bright smile they had become accustomed to.
Then he snapped his fingers.
The snap seemed to echo throughout the entire realm as everything was engulfed in light.
A woman with blonde hair's eyes widened in horror as she saw a flash of light engulf everything as she dueled Jimenez. It was like she realized exactly what was happening right now.
Flashback
As she hastily flew to the Mallory manor she heard a certain curse…
"Y-you…bastard! If all…angels are like you…they deserve…to be killed! I hope…you get exactly…what you…feared and he kills…all of you!", Joseph cursed, shaking in rage as blood pooled out of him.
Flashback end
"It's happened…Just as Angel 07 had tried to prevent. He's…Become everything we feared he'd be.", the woman thought.
Then everything went white.

You'll get to see the duel Flynn had against G.O.D. eventually. I decided to save it for later so chaos didn't end up having more chapters than law. Also sorry Devil Survivor fans but your guys were paired against the two biggest OTK masters. It will get better I promise I just can't say when. So yeah I don't know if anyone caught the twist with Yami Flynn. I've literally been foreshadowing this stuff since season 1. It was so long because I had to cram so much foreshadowing in it. Anyway I will say as you can probably guess this won't be the last times we see law or chaos Flynn.
