Naruto's mindscape…

Naruto woke up with a massive headache and a battered body, but he was no longer in his backyard, he was in some kind of sewer with pipes on the wall that was half flooded in what he hoped was water.

Naruto slowly got up before looking around, "What." was the only word that dared to come out from the silent sewer, besides the dripping of water hitting the flooded ground coming from scattered pipelines on the wall.

Naruto had scanned the sewer to make sure it was safe, while checking for danger he noticed some sort of ripple coming from the water under him that only came from certain pathways. Naruto couldn't help but follow it out of curiosity, he thought that it may be the exit to this weird sewer place.

As Naruto followed the path longer he became entranced in his thoughts not even noticing the upcoming room that looked to be the size of the hokage mountains. Naruto pondered, "After they beat me up did they just throw me in the sewer, or maybe they even killed me and this is hell or purgatory.. Why did I have to be hated?".

Naruto continued to think dark thoughts until he was pulled out from his thinking by a booming deep voice. "So my warden is a mere brat, I ought to kill you where you stand, you disgusting human..". Naruto was trembling as he stood face to face with a huge fox with deep evil red eyes, 9 long swaying tails, and long ears that appeared almost bunny-like, but the monster's toothy grin made up for its odd bunny ears.

Before Naruto could regain his composure and speak back to the beast, the Kyuubi yelled in an angry tone, "If it weren't for your damn 4th Hokage, I'd have you on a kebab with your parents and siblings you damned filth!". Kyuubi fought against the cage as if it were trying to break through and devour Naruto, Naruto got angry.

Naruto was angered at the fact that Kyuubi had just insulted his hero, father, and one person who loved him. Naruto was getting enraged at this point as the Kyuubi continued it's feral beatdown against the cage bars, "You damned fox don't insult my father, you're just angry that a 'mere human' was able to beat you so damn bad that you're stuck in a seal as a damned caged pet!".

Kyuubi was beyond mad at being called, "caged pet". Although Kyuubi was mad, he had to give the kit some credit, he had guts. Despite that, Kyuubi was still angry and threatened to kill Naruto.

Before Naruto could get in any more insults he began to turn transparent and was waking up in the real world, but he didn't know what was happening so he began to panic. At this point Kyuubi had stopped its feral assault on the cage and began watching Naruto.

As Naruto began asking no one in particular, "what's happening to me?" In a scared voice, the Kyuubi sneered at his container's obliviousness, "You're waking up you damned brat, you're in your mindscape..". Naruto had slightly calmed down upon hearing this, "Uh damned fox, what do you mean mindscape?" Naruto asked in a confused voice, the Kyuubi only looked at Naruto as if he were an idiot.

"Your mindscape is a depiction of your current self, thoughts, and feelings. Or in other words, a scene of your mental state and you." Kyuubi replied. Naruto only shook his head dumbly, still not fully understanding the Kyuubi. As Naruto was still disappearing he had thanked the fox, which had surprised the 9 tailed kitsune, as they had argued not even a minute ago. Kyuubi could only smirk while thinking, "troublesome brat…". A Nara sneezed.

In the normal world…

Naruto woke up sluggishly realizing he was heavily bandaged and in his bed from the brutal beating. Before he could fully wake up he panicked as the golden hiraishin kunai he got from his father was no longer in his hand. Before Naruto could go into a full panic he saw his father opening his door.

Before Naruto could greet his father he was enveloped in a tight hug that was warm and nice. Naruto began to tear up as he heard his fathers words, "I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you Naru.. I'm so sorry..". Naruto could only cry in his arms remembering the betrayal and beating that he got from his siblings and their friends, and finding out he was the Kyuubi container.

"Why dad, how could you seal the fox in me… How could you.." Naruto said in a nearly broken voice, tightening his grip on Minato. "It's because I believe in you, Naruto." Minato said in a loving and calm voice, only making Naruto cry even harder than he already was. "I sealed the Kyuubi into you because I believe you can change this world for the better Naru, I just know great things lay ahead in your future..".

Naruto hearing this explanation only made him cry harder, as he wasn't sure if his father and hero truly did love him after the reveal of the Kyuubi, but this proved it.

After about 30 minutes of Naruto sobbing into his father he fell asleep in his comfortable arms. Minato had put Naruto back in his bed, tucking him in comfortably before kissing his forehead and closing the door to his room softly, leaving with a sad look on his face.

As Minato left he saw an annoyed Kushina, before Kushina could speak Minato had gotten an angry look as he walked closer to Kushina, which had startled her because she rarely sees Minato angry, and not angry at just anyone, but her. "Why didn't you help him!" Minato almost yelled with a glare that was beaming right into Kushina.

Before she could utter a word Minato said, "no, I have a better question, why do you hate Naruto. Because you would've dashed in if it were Menma or Mito in that situation, so why!". Kushina was startled at the enraged Minato, but then she got angry much to the annoyance of Minato.

"I hate him because he's nothing but a demon failure brat!" Kushina growled at Minato. Minato could barely register the words he had heard coming from his wife, as they had shocked him.

"Minato think, I got the Kyuubi sealed in me when I was around 12, Naruto's had it since he was born! There's no chance that he hasn't been influenced by the fox, not to mention he has whiskers Minato, proof of Kyuubi's influence! If we were being realistic Minato he is the Kyuubi, even in the prophecy it says he will bring destruction!"

"Even so, Kushina, you shouldn't speak about your own blood like that, he isn't Kyuubi.. The only way he will bring destruction is if people like you keep acting the way you do!" Minato retorted in a saddened and aggravated tone at his wife's unrecognizable behavior.

Kushina could only scoff before turning around and yelling to get in the last words, "Even if he isn't the Kyuubi, he's still a failure he can't even use my bloodline ability.". Minato could only watch in shock and anger as Kushina walked away angrily.

Minato couldn't help but feel angry on behalf of his son, he made a self promise to always protect his son and make sure he knew he was loved, and yet today he was hurt so badly, and by his family on his birthday.

Minato had snuck back into Naruto's room as he had almost forgotten that he had picked up the custom hiraishin kunai he got for Naruto. He placed it on Naruto's desk and left once again, glancing at Naruto with loving eyes before he left, softly closing the door again as to not wake Naruto.

Brief explanation of the next 2 years until the academy…

After the betrayal of his trust on his birthday Naruto vowed to work 5 times harder than he normally would and began eating even healthier than his father had originally been feeding him.

Naruto had also begun learning jutsu including the hiraishin, he also improved his chakra control and chakra reserves.

Naruto was able to fight a normal chunin with a bit of difficulty, but still manage to win. Naruto had managed to learn 2 wind jutsu's and the rasengan, he had also improved his fighting style to near perfection and was able to add his golden kunai into the mix of his style, he can also teleport 2 or 3 times with the hiraishin, but he would work on it and only use it it life or death situations or during the chunin exams, he wanted to master it and take it even further than his father did.

Naruto had a very toned and built body, he ate healthily and sparred with his dad along with many exercises to get his current build. He now stood at 4.8 towering over not only his siblings, but most of his classmates.

Naruto had the strength of high genin, speed of high chunin because he wanted to take after his dad, and mid jounin chakra reserves with great chakra control. Naruto was to say the least incredibly proud of himself, not only did he become less timid and held himself with confidence, he had gotten the same exact bangs on the side of his head like his father.

Naruto was more than ready for the academy and ninja world, he'd take it by storm.

Academy opening day…

The 4th hokage was walking with his kids and wife to the academy, they were all slightly surprised to see his youngest, the 'demon fox brat' had looked nearly identical to his father. Before they could even do the entrance ceremony girls had begun fawning over Naruto.

Naruto had smiled awkwardly and rubbed the back of his head as Menma glared at him for being the center of attention. Menma scoffed as Mito had gotten even more attention as boys flocked around her and tried to be friends with her, much to her distaste.

"Don't worry Menma you already have a small fan group going on over there, you'll do great in the academy I know it, ya know!" Kushina said enthusiastically, trying to cheer up Menma. Menma only became even more angry as he overheard a girl asking Naruto for a date. "I'm gonna beat that bastard so bad that he's never gonna be popular again, he's just a failure they shouldn't even like him.." Menma thought.

Naruto had been wearing his normal attire with a bit more black to it, he had on a sleeveless orange hoodie with a black training undershirt that had shown off his built body, he also wore slightly baggy shinobi pants with multiple pockets on it with black shinobi sandals. Despite him almost always wearing this, the girls were going crazy for him, which had left him highly confused.

Minato had chuckled at Naruto's oblivious reaction to the attention and whispered to Naruto, "It seems you already have fangirls Naru.". Naruto only shuddered at the thought of them all harassing him and it thoroughly scared him.

Minato had begun full on laughing as Menma was fuming at the fact everyone was obsessed with his brother and sister, and Mito had already had fanboys! "It was barely the first day at the academy. How are they more popular, especially that moronic failure?" Menma thought with a tick mark forming on his head.

As the entrance ceremony began Naruto and his siblings had fallen in on different lines. The speech began as his father, the 4th Hokage, had begun to wish the new generation of shinobi luck, saying he believed that they all would become great shinobi.

After the entrance ceremony and class selection…

Naruto, Shikamaru, and Choji walked to their class, happily talking about how they were lucky to be placed in the same class as each other. When Naruto opened the door to his new class he had a slight frown on his face, his siblings, Mito and Menma were in the same class. Despite this he didn't want it to dampen his mood.

Naruto saw many familiar faces, like Ino, Hinata, and some of the civilian kids that didn't hate him. He also saw some of the weird other clan heirs he didn't like talking to, so he decided to sit right next to Shikamaru and Choji. Obviously, they were his closest friends after all, so he was gonna try his best to sit next to them. As Naruto was scanning the room his eyes locked with a beautiful girl with black eyes, black hair, and completely black attire. Despite the girl's odd wardrobe selection, many boys, including Naruto, thought she was a goddess from how pretty she was, he would remember to try and get to know her better.

Despite Naruto not doing anything to become popular or even liked, he had tons of fangirls and already had someone declaring him his rival. The smelly Inuzuka that beat him up with his siblings that day really thought he could compete with him. "Arrogant moron" was Naruto's response to Kiba's broad declaration of rivalry, causing the Inuzuka to stomp angrily away muttering something about kicking his ass.

As Naruto settled in his seat located in the back corner of the class next to Shikamaru and Choji a pink haired girl had zoomed next to him and began asking him questions about his brother, much to his annoyance. His brother had gained slight popularity after he yelled that Minato was his father.

The pink haired girl, now named Sakura, wouldn't shut up about his brother causing him to slowly lose his mind. Naruto was about to snap and begin crying from how loud she was screaming in his ear about his brother when his sensei, Iruka, had told her to sit back in her seat.

Naruto was thankful to his sensei and would remember his savior for the rest of his life. Naruto could only imagine how much trouble dealing with the interesting characters of this class would be.

A couple hours later…

After history and a few other boring classes Naruto was finally excited to show off, as they were going outside to do aim practice and sparring which had greatly excited him, he could finally show his brother and sister their place.

Iruka led the class outside and they began aim practice, Naruto had easily gotten a bullseye on the shuriken and kunai aiming practice each time with a perfect 10 out of 10, which had made all his fangirls squeal and get impressed looks form the guys in his class, whilst his brother Menma looked at him with an annoyed expression.

Iruka called up the next students as Naruto got lost in his thoughts. Only coming out of his thoughts to watch his brother Menma fail with only 3 out of the 10 targets, try to blame it on him, and get pounded by his fangirls. His sister is doing fairly well with 8 out of the 10 targets hitting bullseye.

Naruto was beyond ready as they had finally started the sparring and the first match was with Menma! It's like there was a special force helping him that day, Naruto and Menma stepped into the ring, Naruto with a stoic expression and Menma with a shit eating grin on his face, as if he already won.

As soon as Iruka shouted, "begin!" Menma activated his bloodline chains and instantly began boasting, "You should just give up Naruto. You've always been a talentless loser that wasn't good at anything, and you know you won't win so just do yourself a favor and give up.".

Naruto only chuckled eerily similar to Minato before saying, "If I'm a talentless loser then why did I hit all 10 bullseyes when you could only hit 3, and then pathetically attempt to blame it on me?". Naruto said this with an infuriating grin on his face which had caused Menma to lunge at him using his chains like spider legs to carry him quickly towards Naruto.

"I'm gonna rip you apart, you damned failure!" Menma yelled, Naruto only looked at him with a grin before using all the strength in his legs he could muster and jumping right in front of Menma's before throwing a devastating kick directly to Menma's jaw not only knocking him out of the ring, but also literally knocking him out.

Naruto walked away without another glance or word, whilst Menma was being rushed to the nurse. All of Naruto's fangirls had been freaking out over Naruto's instant win and celebrating. Although Naruto ignored their cheers and stared at Satsuki, who had momentarily blushed at Naruto's gaze before quickly looking away with an even more red look on her face.

Naruto couldn't help but stare at Satsuki as she was truly pretty and wanted to know if he impressed her. Naruto realizing his thoughts and his obvious stare blushed before falling back onto the sidelines.

Naruto went through a couple more matches, one with the Inuzuka, but the Inuzuka charged in and got tripped out of the ring by Naruto. Naruto waited until the last 2 winners of the spars had to fight, which was Naruto and Mito. Naruto was beyond happy that he'd get to beat both his siblings in a humiliating manner, although he knew Mito was much smarter than Menma and wouldn't charge in like an arrogant fool.

Mito and Naruto walked in the ring before Iruka could start. Mito said, "I'm not an idiot like Menma, I will crush you Naruto." in a very cold tone. After Mito was done Iruka had started the match, immediately Mito and Naruto had rushed each other at high speed and got in an intense taijutsu battle that Naruto was winning. Whenever Mito threw a right or left punch he would counter it by literally just copying it with twice the strength which resulted in her knuckles bleeding a bit.

She would throw a right hook at Naruto's face and he'd do the same only aiming for her fist with blinding speed, to her at least. It hurt like a bitch, but in her head she was dumbfounded her failure brother had this strength.

Naruto had decided against using his own fighting style because he wanted to hide most of his strength. Suddenly during their small fist fight Mito used one of her chains to deal a fatal blow to Naruto, but much to her surprise she hit a shadow clone and felt cold metal against her neck, as Naruto had been watching from the back of the circle since the start of the fight.

Iruka called the match and Mito, still dumbfounded, refused to do the sign of reconciliation and ran off embarrassed and angry at the humiliating loss to Naruto. Naruto only shrugged before falling back into the sidelines where everyone was in awe at Naruto's strength.

Classes weren't very interesting until lunch, since Shikamaru and Choji had already managed to sneak out and skip class he decided to just stay and eat his self made lunch. To his surprise Satsuki sat next to him, causing both of them to blush slightly. Naruto asked, "So uh Satsuki-chan did you want to ask me something?" Satsuki looked away with an even bigger blush before answering.

"Well I wanted to know what that clone thing you did was, my Nii-san sometimes uses it for training and I was slightly curious as to how you did it." Satsuki said with a smaller blush. Naruto only gave her a small smile before showing her the technique, "this is called the kage bunshin no jutsu Satsuki-chan it's main use is for training cause the clone gives the memories back to the original after they've dispelled" Naruto said with a bright smile that made Satsuki hide her face due to how bad she was blushing.

She muttered thanks before leaving, still covering her face, she even forgot her lunch. Naruto couldn't understand why girls would suddenly feel ill around him and wondered if it was a side effect of having the Kyuubi inside of him.

The rest of the day was boring and there was nothing noteworthy so he walked to the training field. He didn't want to return home as he was sure Kushina would chew him out for humiliating Mito and Menma. He sighed as he walked towards the training field, wondering what the next day had in store for him.

FINALLY DONE, ok yeah I'm SOOOOOO sorry for missing like 2 days of chapters, or was it 3? I forgot, so I'm gonna do like 3 chapters. This one was a lil more difficult to do because of family issues and stuff, but I'll try and manage to be more productive and make more chapters.
