Warframe Beyond the Origin
ESKK: A new chapter at long last please enjoy it.
(Start Zariman 10-0)
In the classroom on the Zariman many of the children were barricaded in as Zed was moving a chair to finish the barricade. Once it was secured Zed saw Mari in a corner huddled in a fetal position rubbing her arms and rocking her body back and forth. Zed couldn't blame her for that knowing what was going on outside. Even now they can hear the screams as the entire Zariman crew lost their minds and turned on each other and their children.
Heading over to their Cephalon Teacher Zed looked to her and knew she'd give them away with ow much she was glitching. "Cephalon kill lights and switch off." Zed ordered and in turn the Cephalon did as told after a few stuttered words. Once she was off Zed went around making sure everyone was ok.
Of course, everyone could still be heard which Zed knew would give them all away especially after Shmi and Kira sacrificed themselves to help them escape. "Quiet everyone! Keep your voiced down." Zed ordered knowing they had to stay quiet until the crazed crew passed and after they can leave and find a safer location preferably with food and water. "Mari." Zed said as she was huddled closed to their Cephalon Teacher. "Are you ok?" Zed asked as Mari was in shock.
"What's happening what's going on?" Mari asked her voice showing the absolute terror she was feeling right now.
"I don't know but we need to stick together." Zed said and thus saw Akin. "Go over to Anakin and start gathering everyone together." Zed said knowing they had to stick together if they were to survive this. With a silent nod Mari got moving but her movement was shaking still.
Heading over to a pair of his classmates huddled together Zed went about trying to calm them down. Kneeling down his classmate Terdlee began to speak still in shock like everyone else. "Why is this happening to us? What did we do wrong?" Terdlee asked as Zed cringed knowing that was among the many thoughts in their minds.
"Just try to keep quiet... and don't let him fall asleep, ok." Zed said gesturing to the one Terdlee was huddled up with.
"Okay." Terdlee said as she now had a task to do to keep her mind focused on something else.
Heading over to Anakin Zed went to check on his friend. "Anakin how are you holding up?" Zed asked looking to the former slave boy hoping he was doing ok.
"Mom... they tore her apart." Anakin wept after watching his mother die. "They were her friends and they... and they." Anakin went off as he had no way to answer what was going on. "I can't fix it." He said and thus Zed put a comforting hand on his friend.
"I know but... we're still here we can't let her sacrifice be in vain. We need to keep living." Zed said and thus Anakin nodded too the boy who he played Lunaro with so many times. "To do that we need to regain control of the Zariman, and you said you were a pilot." Zed said and thus Anakin saw what Zed was doing. "So, help me and Mari get everyone gathered together and then... we can head to the control room once they insane passes by." Zed said and thus Anakin nodded too the boy.
"Ok." Anakin said and thus went off to help Mari gather everyone together.
"Really wish Rell was here, he was weird, but he can understand and help people better." Zed said as he hoped Rell, Titus, and Aya were doing ok with their classmates. Zed then saw another one of his classmates on the other side of the room away from where Anakin and Mari were gathering the others. Walking over to him Zed kneeled down to the shocked young boy holding a picture of his family. "Hey. Why don't you go sit closer to the others until we get environmental back?" Zed said as he was unknowingly becoming the leader they needed right now.
M-m-my mom's coming to get me soon." The boy, Berryn stuttered as he was deep in shock over what was happening.
Zed felt pity for the boy who was in denial over what was happening. But despite this Zed took charge and tried to bring him to the reality of the situation. "No. She's not." Zed began as he was calm for the boy. "We're going to be your family for a while, okay." Zed said comforting the boy but alas it was for naught.
Zed then looked to the edge and heard a knocking sound opting him to go and look to the source. Zed walked over to the unknown boy and began to check in on him while Mari and Anakin finished gathering the others. "Hey, lose your light?" Zed asked as he offered the light he was holding to the unknown boy. "Here, you can take mine." Zed said offering the boy his light.
The unknown boy then stopped what he was doing and then began to turn to Zed. "Thanks kiddo." He said turning to Zed revealing an exact double of the boy. "I think I will." He added while shocking the boy with his voice turning more demonic in nature.
(Scene Break Prison Cells Present Day)
"Time's up, Annie." The Man in the Wall said as he began to draw the attention of the Tenno there who took notice of the Man in the Wall. "I can save her I can save all of them. But you have to WANT it." The Eldritch being said as he looked to Anakin. "Let's say we shake on it." The Man in the Wall said but Zed and Akin saw this and got moving.
"Anakin don't!" Zed called out as he nearly slammed into the wall trying to stop Anakin. "If you take that deal, if you take what he's offering you then you will never be the same for it!" Zed called out as he slammed his fist against the cage trying to stop Anakin.
"It's true that THING is not your friend!" Akin said as he knew from Zed that the Man in the Wall is the reason Rell was dead.
"Oh, come on Kiddo after everything I did for you." The Man in the Wall said in mock offense. "Did you actually forget that you owe me?" The Man in the Wall said showing he was like the Devil who always collects his dues.
"You owe him?" Anakin asked sensing a story there.
"Don't Anakin please we'll find another way." Zed begged knowing the hell that Anakin would unleash upon himself should he take the deal.
"Sure, and by the time you do it might be too late." The Man in the Wall said giving his own two cents.
"It's not worth it!" Zed argued as Anakin was stuck between it.
"Or is it? If it's worthy to save her why hesitate?" The Man in the Wall asked as he argued his own in his own way.
"Please!" Zed went on but Anakin had his choice made.
"Make the deal with me!" Akin suddenly spoke getting everyone's attention. "Zed made a deal with you on the Zariman to save us, right? It's Zed who owes you not the rest of us." Akin said making it clear he had an alternative.
"Akin what are you?" Zed and Anakin were about to ask but the Man in the Wall began to laugh.
"So that's how it is shoulder one half between the two of you?" He said and thus appeared on the Tenno's side of the cell. "Well then I hope you know what you're getting into?" The man in the Wall said and thus Anakin and Akin's right hands began to glow with Void Energy. "Just remember after this... YOU OWE ME!" The man in the wall said and thus Anakin and Akin looked over to each other. With a nod filled with determination the two slammed their respected hands into the wall of their cells.
"DON'T!" Zed roared in anguish but alas it was too late.
The hands made contact and thus Anakin and Akin went wide eyed to what happened next. Before their eyes as presented by their minds via the Man in the Wall, they saw versions of themselves hundreds upon thousands of them dying one after the other. Whispers echoed around them as the pair felt something pull from and enter them at the same time.
As this went on the event had to eventually come to an end as both Anakin and Akin found themselves shaking each other's hands at the end of it. Drawn back into reality the pair fell apart and grabbed their heads as Anakin and Akin looked at their hands. In Anakin's prosthetic hand he saw Void Energy forming in it as he then looked at the door before him. Acting on pure instinct Anakin raised his hand to the door almost like he was going to use the Force but instead a beam made of pure Void Fury shot forth and in turn sliced through the door before Anakin kicked it open. Once it was done, he picked up Ahsoka and headed to the neighboring cell and cut the Tenno Loose. Once the door was open Akin came out first as he looked to Anakin in shock.
"I can't believe you two did that." Zed said knowing what this would entail for the pair of Skywalkers.
"Hey nothing ventured nothing gained." Akin said with a smirk on his face.
"Great now we just need to get out and." Mari began and in turn they were met with movement that revealed to be Battle Droids down the hall.
"Take cover!" Zed shouted as all the Tenno and Jedi gotten out of the way as the battle droids started firing at them while the group got behind cover as Aya soon said, "What now?"
"We got to fight our way out," Zed said as Titus said, "Without weapons or shields?"
"We still have the void and the force, if we can push through them, we can make it, we just have to believe we can!" Akin said as it seemed that the force was giving the Tenno some form of foresight as Mari said, "This is crazy."
"Maybe, but he's right we need to push through, so let's do it together!" Zed said as he looked to Anakin and said to him, "I know your new to power of the void, so focus on the emptiness within you, draw it out let it flow, but only use it if you have to defend yourself."
Anakin nodded to this as shooting out that one void blast was pure luck on its own, and just like his force training, he try to feel out for the void, soon he found it as his hand glowed a bit as he got a more stable form now as Anakin look over to Akin and said, "Hey Akin, you may have an idea for the force but you're feeling can help you draw out a bit more, just don't lose yourself to it or else you may get consume by the dark side."
"I study how the jedi used the force, I know that, but I can't concentrate like this," Akin said as Zed said, "Then don't, just remember your focus, and go with the flow. Whatever you feel you need to do, then do it."
Akin was dumbfounded as he forgot about the way of the Tenno schools, he closed his eyes and try to remember his school.
In his mind he saw clouds gathering together forming a storm, the Madurai Way, as Akin focus the force with the focus of the Madurai way he felt it and soon look over to Zed and nodded showing he was good to go as they both nodded and rush out together with Akin attacking the droids with the force as he sent a wave of force with an electric discharge with it, stunning the droids for a moment with Zed came in with a counter attack as he fire a void beam at them, throwing them all back breaking the droids formation.
"Remember your focus and fight!" Zed to the others as they soon follow behind as Titus rushed in and tackle a droid. Once that was done Titus proceeded to pick up a blaster and started firing upon them, while also running around, trying to outlast the droids themselves.
Mari came in and pick up a blaster as well as she looks at the droids looking at them closely to get a understanding of them, as she can tell the normal battle droids were thin and no doubt the easily made so they can be easily destroyed as she fire upon them destroying their arms and limbs first before shooting them up while taking cover behind a wall.
Ava was doing what Mari is doing and firing void blast at the droids, but she couldn't do much as she was, as she tried to take out the droids, but she can only do so much as she was as Mari sees this and ask, "what's wrong?"
"I… I don't know if I can fight like this. I can't fight as I am," Ava said as Mari said to her, "Yes you can, you may not like what you were before, but you saved a lot of lives, helped a lot of people, you can fight, just don't lose yourself!"
Ava taken in Mari's words as she thought of what she said, she was afraid of going back to what she was before but... if she can just focus on helping her friend with a major of the droids… she can do it, as she took a deep breath before her look change from soft and somewhat scared to cold and almost emotionless as she soon came out of her cover and charge at the droids, picking up a couple of blasters and went hard on them, blasting them at every angel, dominating them as she did.
Bit by bit the Tenno overcame the droids with Anakin was astounded by this to see each Tenno were fighting outside their Warframes, as they had different ways of fighting but they all brought it together and form a harming among each other, as for a moment he was afraid of Akin may have tap into the dark side of the force when he notice the electric discharge he release with the force push.
That wasn't a normal jedi techniques or ability, but those of the Sith or at least close to them, but he didn't see any anger or hatred in his eyes… no he was focus facing an enemy to fight and with his friends alongside him, and if he could still sense with the force, he would have felt Akin was fighting with strong warm emotions.
Soon enough as the last droid fell, the Tenno came back together with Riyo was surprise by this but smile to see the Tenno had done it, even if she may not like it as much and seeing them as they were, they were soldiers of fortune and they know how to go about in a fight as Zed said, "Okay listen, we may not have much time before Somnus take notice of this, so we're going to have to find our Warframe and get them back, but we're going to need supply and more weapon if we're going to survive this."
Anakin understand what Zed is doing, as he was leading the group with the best option they have at the moment with Zed looking over to Ahsoka, he felt guilty knowing he should have made her stay in the ship, but didn't and let her do her duty for the Jedi council as he soon went on saying, "We're going to need medical supplies, bandages, injection, anything we can get our hands on, because I am not going to let a life die because of Somnus, he wanted a war with the Tenno and got other involved for his twisted way… and we're going to make him pay for that."
"Yeah, we are!" Titus said as he pick up another blaster in hand duel wielding them, with Akin nodded to this along with the girls as they all agree to this, with Anakin wondering what they are going to do, but before he could say anything Zed spoken up saying, "Anakin, you keep near one of us at all times, you as well senator Chuchi, we know you may want to help but this is our war now and we will do what we have to do."
"I understand, but." Riyo started to say as she went over to Titus and grab one of his blasters out of his hand as he went, 'Hey!', with Riyo held the blaster in her hand as she said, "I'm not completely helpless to defend myself thank you very much."
"Your choice then," Zed said as he learned a long time ago to not try and change stubborn people's minds. Zed sense she led Akin to this world, no doubt how stubborn she is, as Zed to the entire group and said, "we stick together and find what we can, not let's move."
Soon enough the group travel down the halls of the facility they were in, with droids marching pass with some sentients patrolling with them, as the group took cover to avoid detection before moving on, and soon found themselves in a supply room of sort as the Tenno scavenge around for supplies as they found some stuff they could use, and to their luck Zed found what he was looking for being a familiar red liquid all the Tenno are used to finding in battle as he brought it over to Ahsoka as he said, "Here, this may help her a bit."
"What is it?" Anakin ask as he was a bit worry of what the stuff was Zed had as he said, "Something that help heal all Biological life forms of all sorts whether be organic, biomechanics, and anything in between living flesh and machine, believe me on this."
Anakin didn't know if he should but if it could help, he was going to try it at least once as he nodded to Zed while held it close to Ahsoka, as the red liquid was soon absorb into her skin as it healed a lot cuts and scars with a few remain, wasn't a lot but it helped as Ahsoka was breathing more softly now while asleep as Anakin smile to this.
(Little later)
Soon enough as they took all the supplies as they could find before they exit the supply room but not before to see if there were any patrols coming around. Once Zed saw that the coast was clear he waved over to the group as he exited the room to which they followed behind him.
With everyone being as sneaky as possible they were left unaware that something was coming near them. The old saying held truth in combat, no plan ever survives first contact.
Coming up to them that took the group by surprise as they saw a mouse droid before them as Titus said, "Droid!"
"No wait don't!" Anakin said but he couldn't do a thing as Titus already fire at the mouse droid while missing it, soon ran off, and that blaster was heard by a nearby patrol as they came around the corner as one droid called out, "Prisoner escape!"
"Run!" Zed said as soon enough Akin force push the droid back before taking off with everyone else, with the alarm was soon set off with the group now hustling as Anakin said to Titus, "Why did you shot?"
"It was an enemy droid, what was I supposed to do?" Titus said as Anakin said, "That was a maintenance droid, it didn't have a weapon at all!"
"How should I know what kind of droid it was, they all come in different shape and sizes than Warframes!" Titus said before he got smack upside the head by Akin and said, "Then think once in a while, why don't you?"
Droids and Sentient were coming after them as they ran as fast as they can before they came across a large set of doors as Zed said, "Ava get the doors, Mari cover her!"
Soon enough as the girls gotten on the monitor screen that was connected to the big doors, with Ava quickly got to work as she said, "This going to take a while without a Parazon to use."
"Don't think about rushing then, do what you can," Mari said as she keep a watch out for the enemy while Zed, Titus and Akin was facing the enemy with Anakin and Riyo supporting them behind cover as Anakin had set Ahsoka down for a bit while getting his void blast down taking a few droids down while weakening sentients while Riyo just blasted at them with her blaster.
Ava work as quickly as she could as Anakin yell out, "How much longer!?"
"Don't rush me, this is very delicate work!" Ava yell back at him as Mari said to them, "Ava just focus on that, and you sky guy keep to yourself while others are working!"
"They are getting closer," Akin said to Zed as they try to keep the droids and Sentient back. But they kept pushing with their number increasing with every passing second as Zed said, "I know, but keep focusing on them and their attention on us."
He blasted a droid knocking it down with more took its place, with Ava said while looking at the screen as she does a puzzle code as she was tried to connect some lines together on screen, "Come on- come on- Come on!"
"There's too many!" Riyo said as she soon ran out of energy from her blaster before she ducked behind cover as Anakin was looking a bit exhausted using void energy for the first time as he said, "I don't know how long I can last."
"Just keep holding out!" Zed said as he blasted out before duck behind cover as the laser blast was becoming more focus now.
As the enemy was getting closer with Mari had to help the group out now as she called out, "Anytime now Ava."
Ava was getting the last part done before the screen with Green with the doors opening as she said, "Everyone inside now!"
After that everyone rush into the open doors with others were laying down covering fire with Anakin grab Ahsoka and ran int with Riyo behind them while the Tenno follow after as Ava was doing something else now on the monitor as Zed said, "Come one Ava."
"One sec, I'm making sure they won't get in so easily!" ava said as she did the puzzle code again and failed a few time before the screen went red as the computer soon went into a lockdown with the doors soon closing as well as the two rush in while everyone else cover them the best they could before they got through and the large doors close behind them.
Many droids fired at the door, but all their shots were behind stopped as they come up to it as one droid said, "You open this door."
"I can't the system is in lockdown," Another droid said while the first said to it, "Then do an override."
"Roger-roger!" the droid said as it tried to override the lockdown as it can while the rest waited.
(Behind the doors)
The group had made it, thankfully there was no casualty or any hits of any-sort on everyone as they check themselves as akin said, "Well that went better than expected."
"But now we're trap here," Titus said as Mari said, "Did you have any bright idea genius, oh wait you don't."
"Calm down guys this is no time to fight," Zed said as Riyo said, "What are we going to do now?"
"We find a way out, a loose vent or maybe a back door," Zed said as that was the best ideas he has at the moment, not much but he knew that every room got to have a vent or two they can go through as Anakin said, "Ah guys… what are those?"
The Tenno turn to where Anakin was looking towards and to their shock to what they saw before them, as they before them were golden machines with skull faces on them, some with machine gun some with missiles launchers, and a few of them had a large shield on them as well as Zed said, "I think we found our solution."
"What are they?" Riyo asked with Akin said, "Necramech, large machine that we Tenno uses in battle, they can take a beating and dish out as much and then some."
Titus went to check up on them as he said, "They are somewhat in rough shape, seem like these guys were just put together without any maintained."
"Where do you think they came from?" Ava asked with Zed had one idea as he said, "They may have been from the old war before the Orokin empire fell into ruins."
"Can they still work?" Mari asked with Titus look around them as much as he can as he said, "Give me a bit and I think I can get them up and running again."
"But how are you guys going to pilot them?" Anakin asked with Zed look at Anakin and said, "Well if you want to try, you may get a first impression of transference."
(Later outside the door)
The Droids had been working on getting the door to open as they were hard at work. "Almost got it and... done!" The Droid said as he undid the override on the locks. Once they got the door to open, they were met with the business end of an old rusted Archgun.
"WOW!?" The Droids called out and in turn the owner opened fire before from the room four Necramechs charged out with one of them taking careful steps.
The four Necramechs were firing their way through their foes as they made sure to keep moving. The fourth one though while on shaky legs was able to fire straight before grabbing a Droids and crushing it in his hand. "How're you holding up Anakin?" Zed asked as he opened fire on his foes.
"Honestly I don't think I'll ever be able to adjust." Anakin said as he was moving the Necramech he was inside of after being told what Transference was.
"Yeah great!" Akin said as he had a blaster in his hand while Riyo carried the still injured Ahsoka. Akin then saw a Droid coming his way and thus used a Force Push to get them away from him as he then fired it with the stolen blaster. "Kriff you never respect your powers until AFTER you lose them!" Akin complained as Riyo then bumped him a bit playfully.
"Powers or no you're still amazing." Riyo said as they continued trying to find their missing gear.
The group made their way through the halls firing at any foe that came their way while covering Riyo, Ahsoka, and Akin between them. The Necramechs they had taken were poultry in terms of ability and strength and their shields were crappy no doubt they could fall apart at any moment. The Tenno had to let it be knowing full well they didn't have much of a choice since it was all they had to work with even with fixing a few things with quick patch jobs.
They soon got to a cross way as they looked around for their target. "Well which way?" Anakin asked as now that he could not use the Force, he can't call upon its guidance for aid.
"I don't know I don't have any Force training!" Akin said and thus Zed closed his eyes and focused on is ears.
From down a hall Zed heard the sound of howling and thus knew who it was. "This way!" Zed called out and thus the group went down the hall where Zed had heard the howling come from.
(Later)
In Somnus lab the sound of battle had reached the doors the doors eventually blew apart and form it the group charged in. Akin saw where they were and in turn saw a familiar sight.
"Hello gorgeous!" Titus greeted as he saw his Warframe there with Gram Prime and Shedu.
"They took most of our guns." Zed said as he saw Umbra was missing his Twin Grahkata's and only had Nataruk on hand. "It will have to do." Zed said as Riyo put Ahsoka on the medical table. "Take out the Orphux generators and get Ahsoka a medpack." Zed ordered as he knew the Kuva they used would not last long for Ahsoka.
In turn the four Necramechs managed to take out the Orphux field and in turn freed their Warframes from it. Of course, following this they had to take the Warframes down from the containment fields they were trapped in and had to be careful about it, no telling what sort of booby traps Somnus laid for them. Once the Warframes were freed Zed got out of the Necramech followed by the rest of his squad and Anakin.
"Tenno." A voice spoke and thus Zed looked and saw a familiar face.
"Stalker?" Zed asked as he saw before him was the Shadow Stalker no longer bearing any Sentient attachments as well as restrained. "Talk about a double cross." Zed said smirking at the fate of the Shadow Stalker.
"We should leave him here." Anakin said but Zed begged to differ.
"No, we shouldn't." Zed said as he walked over to where the Stalker was restrained. "He helped the Drifter while back against an Archon... this is my way of returning the favor." Zed said as he then got Stalker freed and in turn he fell to the ground and glared at the group. He looked ready to fight but instead he vanished into shadows leaving the group behind.
Just then Ahsoka moaned in pain as Akin injected her with a stim pack to get her body some strength. As the Tenno plus Anakin began to step out of their Necramechs the junk piles fell apart as Anakin ran over to Ahsoka. "Ahsoka!" Anakin called out as just then he and Anakin's arms touched when Akin tried to hold him back a bit and in doing so the two cried out from a small shock as they felt something go through their arms into each other while also leaving them. They parted ways and all of a sudden Anakin began to feel the Force flowing as Akin saw Void energy forming in his hand again.
"Ok that's going to take some getting used to." Akin said as he looked at his hand and then back to his older self.
"No kidding." Anakin said wondering just what sort of deal he just made with the Man in the Wall.
"I gave her stim pack, but she will need medical attention." Riyo said as it seems she was starting to get better, but Ahsoka was not in the clear yet.
"Then we haven't much time." Zed said and in turn the Tenno were in agreement. Entering their Warframes the four were once more ready for battle as Zed had the Paracesis ready to slay the Sentient. "Let's move." Zed said as it was now time to roll out.
"This way!" Ava called out as she went to a doorway that would lead to an exit... hopefully.
(Later)
The group arrived outside to what looked to be an outdoor arena of sorts as they were caught off guard by it. What was also noted was that there were several Sentient Drones about waiting for them in the stands. "Why am I not surprised." Came the voice of Somnus making the Tenno go wide eyed in shock. Looking up they saw Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, and General Grevious all there waiting for them while glaring down upon them.
"You suspected we would have escaped, didn't you?" Zed asked as he glared at the image of Somnus on the balcony area.
"I did and it seems my preparations were well intended." Somnus said as from around them new Droids came out as they all surrounded the Tenno. By the looks of it they were similar to the Amalgams Alad V had created in the days leading up to the New War. "Now then I would highly suggest you and your Volt User friend surrender yourselves it would seem that I have another subject of study." Somnus said as he looked down upon them. "Of course, that is assuming if you wish for your Togruta to survive." Somnus said as he made his demands clear.
But before anything else could be said from behind Count Dooku and Asajj Ventress a Warframe appeared wielding the Dual Keres Prime with the Warframe they were using being Khora Prime. "You know the last guy who worked with the Sentient didn't walk away especially after he pissed them off enough to double cross him." The Tenno said in a female voice as he glared between the two dark side users.
Just then from around the Stadium many Tenno, all of them using Prime Warframes with Prime Gear and Kuva Gear, began to reveal themselves all of them. The showed to the Separatist leaders and the Sentient Drones that there was many of them in the stadium. They all drew their weapons ready for a fight as they glared at the foes around them ready for anything to happen. The Warframes were all uniquely designed no doubt so the Operators using them can have other Tenno tell them apart.
Dooku looked to all of this and noted that he could not sense any of the Tenno through the Force and thus looked to the one who had them at blade point. "So, you came to save your fellows a noble... if not foolish mistake." Count Dooku said as the Tenno behind the Warframe smirked. "You are vastly outnumbered my empty friend." Dooku said as he looked to the Tenno before him.
The Tenno looked to Dooku and smirked through her Warframe. "Quality over Quantity, Count Dooku was it?" She responded showing she was not at all afraid.
Just then a lightsaber ignited as Grevious was then heard. "Then Perhaps you should also notice we have both Quality and Quantity." The General said as the Tenno looked to the Cyborg.
"Oh really?" She asked and from nearby her Kavat came out and bit down on the cyborgs arm causing him to cry out as the Kavat began to tear the arm off. Just then movement was heard as the Tenno looked and saw Several Super Battle Droids and Sentient Drones coming out ready to assist the Separatist leaders. The Tenno in turn blocked incoming laser fire from the combined forces before backflipping and jumping over the edge. The Kavat followed her master and soon the duo landed on the ground below.
This was the signal as the battle began for both sides. The Tenno in the stands began slashing and shooting their way through the Sentient and Droids before joining the others in the stadium. The Droid and Sentient forces charged at the Tenno as the Tenno did the same in response. The Battle began as Tenno and Sentient went at each other intent on besting the other. Even the Droids enhanced by Sentient biotech found themselves at odds with the Tenno's unique abilities in combat.
Zed charged with his heavy blade hacking and cleaving his way through Sentient with the weapon Ballas tricked him into making in the days leading to the New War. Nearby Ava used Hall of Mirrors to increase the damage of her gun shots before using Prism to take out several foes at once. Once she did this, she swung the Broken Scepter about and used its unique ability to drain the life force within her defeated foes for her allies to recover their own strength.
Nearby Mari was using a pair of pistoles she managed to keep on Mesa Prime to fire at her foes before using Shooting Gallery to take out several foes at once. That was of course just before Titus roared and slammed down with Gram Prime taking his foes out with a slam attack. He then breathed out Ice with Chroma Prime and in turn several Droids and Sentient froze solid before he cleaved through them.
"OVER HERE!" Came someone using Atlas Prime as he had punched the ground to create a barrier of sorts.
Akin saw this and charged in before using Volt Prime to make the barrier doubled up. This in turn allowed Anakin and Riyo to take Ahsoka to the cover. Just then a familiar sound was heard as Anakin looked with Akin and saw Artoo and Spike coming to them. "Artoo where have you been?" Anakin asked and in turn Artoo's top part popped open revealing Anakin's Lightsaber. "My Lightsaber." Anakin said as he then took the weapon and ignited it seeing it was still working.
"Go I'll stay here and watch her." Riyo said and with a nod Anakin jumped out of his hiding spot and joined the battle. Akin covered the two as Riyo fired off the stolen blaster while Akin deflected any incoming laser shots directed at them. "I thought you wanted a diplomatic solution." Akin said as he and Riyo had a bit of small talk.
"I did but that failed." Riyo said while firing her blaster off.
"So, I guess that means that we have moved to aggressive negotiations." Akin said and in turn her and Riyo smiled at each other before refocusing their attention on the battle at hand.
Anakin meanwhile was swinging his lightsaber about unleashing his rage a bit against those who would dare harm Ahsoka in the way they had. He of course tried his damn hardest to keep it under control, but he could not help himself but unleash what he could. Thankfully the Tenno were keeping their foes at bay while they made sure the Sentient were not given any time to adapt to the Tenno and lone Jedi.
The battle was raging on between the two sides, as Somnus watch the battle go on and didn't seem worry at all if he had a face to show it, as it seem Somnus had plans just for this occasion, always try to be 5 steps ahead of his enemies as they came to this planet, with friends coming in to help, to escape the prison they were in, and for more help to arrive he had a plan for each scenario as he soon orders, "Send in the rest and gather them up."
Soon enough more and more droid and Sentient were coming in, all different types and models for the Tenno to face, as soon enough it became 4 to 1 against the Tenno. With all of their weapons and firearms, with all of their special abilities and power, mod, companions and skills they were soon finding themselves overwhelmed.
Many Warframes fell down defeated forcing the Operator inside to transfer over to their Transference Chambers while others were backing up against each other. Even their companions were overwhelmed with the animal having no choice but to retreat while the machine base ones were blasted to bits. Both Anakin and Akin were trying their best to protect Ahsoka and Riyo but that was becoming more difficult for them to do now as they soon saw themselves surrounded.
Before the droids and Sentient advance on them, they simply halted in their attack for a moment and went into a standby mode as Somnus spoken up saying, "Tenno, you have all fought well, greatly outnumbered and such, no doubt you are worthy of your titles of warrior gods… but even I know you still have limits and you have reach yours. Drop all of your weapon and transfer out of your Warframes if you wish to keep those without Warframes themselves alive."
"We will not surrender to Sentient scum like you," the Khora Prime user said as she glared at the hologram of the Sentient himself as he soon said, "Very well, then you have left me with no other choice but to see that you Tenno are all destroyed."
Soon enough as all the droids and Sentients soon went into battle mode once more as the Tenno and single jedi prepared to fight again to the very end. As it seemed to be the end but a new beginning as shadows soon covered the entire area as Riyo look up and pointed out as she said, "What's that?"
As Zed's team look to see what it was, to their shock and excitement as Titus said, "Backup has arrived."
Republic and Tenno ships has come but instead of clone troops on those drop ships Spector Warframes came forth dropping down from said ships some of them were all basic Warframes from Excalibur to Rhinos even a few chroma were seen with all of them welding basic weapons as well. As simple as they are, they were a fighting force as when some landed had become to fight and destroy many droids and Sentients at once.
In one of the drop ships Yoda and Obi-Wan were looking down at the scene as they had come to support the Tenno with their newly form forces as Obi-Wan ordered, "Make a perimeter around the remaining Tenno support and treat those who are injured."
AS the Gunships began to land the Tenno began loading up into the ships to get to safety. Once they were loaded up the ships began to fly off as Somnus saw the entire thing play out. He knew that if the Tenno learned where his main body was hiding, they will focus all their attention on there. It was time to deploy the Archons once more as his holographic image vanished from the projector while Grevious, Ventress, and Dooku all began leaving the area.
(With the Tenno)
"Why am I coming to your rescue now?" Obi-Wan asked as Ahsoka was being treated by a medic from the 501st.
"It's a long story old timer." Akin said as he backed up Anakin on this. "But right now, we have more pressing matters, Somnus forces are strongest here we need to stop him from busting out otherwise the bastard will head to Tau and gather the other Sentient to come here." Akin said knowing full well that the Republic was not prepared for a full-on invasion from Tau.
"What do you suggest then?" Windu asked as Akin glared at the man for a moment.
"Split Tenno squads between each battalion Sentient adapt to what is thrown at them but we Tenno can reset that adapting ability." Zed said as he was a leader in two separate wars, so he knew what he was doing. "We need a planetary scan of any area with the most droid and Sentient located." Zed said as Rex heard this.
"I'll contact the Resolute for that." Rex said as Kix finished looking over Ahsoka.
"General she's going to need an evac for more medical attention." Kix said as he managed to stabilize her.
"Then get it done." Anakin ordered knowing full well that Ahsoka needed to live.
(Battle)
The battle went on as ground forces were moving to intercept the droids and Sentient. As they moved Tenno squads were on the ground already providing aid to the Republic using their Void abilities to reset the Sentient adaptive powers and giving the Jedi and Republic the edge, they needed to take them out. As they moved gunships flew overhead as the Tenno were reminded of the Old War when they had a coherent army to work with. Some Tenno were even commanding Republic troops on what to do as they were no doubt using their experience with the Sentient to their advantage.
(Back in the Gunship)
"Sentient Ships!" Mari called out as they saw Sentient drones flying through the sky.
Just then from nearby Archwings were seen as one of the Tenno flew in and then proceeded to stab their weapons into the ships before moving on. Following them up were Starfighters who were being commanded by Jedi Master Plo-Koon and Republic Troopers as well as other Jedi Masters or Knights.
"Never mind." Mari said grateful for the backup from the Jedi.
"General." Rex spoke as he looked to Anakin. "We have a forward command base prepared with an evac ship ready for Commander Tano." Rex updated after informing Yularen of the situation.
"Good and any news on the Tenno's request." Anakin asked and in turn Rex nodded.
"We found the location just as the Tenno said and we're already preparing for an assault on the location." Rex said as that was good news on their front.
"Uh guys look!" Titus called out and in turn they saw what seemed to be a Sentient Murex preparing to launch.
"What the Sith Hell is that?" Rex asked and thus Aya spoke up on this.
"That's a Sentient Murex, Somnus is getting ready to launch his fleet." Aya said and thus Zed stepped up to the plate.
"Pilot aim for the gap in the front where you can see the energy coming forth, use high yield rounds if you have it!" Zed ordered and thus the Pilot went and did as he was told.
(Battle)
The Gunship flew by the Murex launching and in turn fired off its rockets into the gap. Thankfully due to how long it's been buried and inert as well as the fact it was just launching the ship was at its weakest. Thus, when the rockets hit the entire thing came crashing down all over again. The Gunships flew on as they made their way to where Somnus was hiding out. The Murex crashed back down to the ground destroying Droids and Sentient in mass.
(Gunship)
"Good call." Obi-Wan said as he saw the battle play out.
"This isn't our first rodeo with the Sentient." Zed said as he held onto the handles above him.
"How much of experts are you on the matter?" Anakin asked and in turn Zed looked to Anakin and smirked. He then caught Anakin by surprise by drawing Nataruk and notching an energy arrow up. Anakin quickly ducked but Zed fired it off hitting a Sentient flier out of the sky instead.
"Does that answer you're question?" Zed asked and in turn Obi-Wan saw what this meant. "We're already splitting Tenno squads between your forces to cover more ground; can we count on the Clones and Jedi to work with us?" Zed asked as he looked to Obi-Wan.
"Cody, send word to all forces inform them that if they face these… Sentient to let the Tenno deal with them." Obi-Wan ordered and thus clone Commander nodded to his General.
"Yes sir." Cody said and in turn began to get word out to their forces to inform them of what was to happen in this battle.
"Now then tell us what we need to know." Obi-Wan said and thus Zed nodded and began giving orders left and right.
Watching this Akin and Titus saw their old friend giving orders as Akin gulped a bit. "Think this is the start of the Third War?" Titus asked as he looked to Akin.
"I honestly hope not." Akin said knowing if they did not seal Somnus up or eliminate him then the Third War would be all but inevitable.
