-Chapter-4-

-Pepper pov-

We are trying to get to Peter as quick as we possibly can. I just have no clue on what we will do when we get there. I also have no clue how we will get to him. His location seems to have disappeared.

I am about to ask Steven if he has something when there is a huge explosion. We all speed to it as fast as we can. We get to the sight just to be in shock. Peter is above Harley and beating the hell out of him.

"You will not threaten them!" I slowly start to walk toward them but Steven stops me "You will not threaten to groom Morgan! You will not threaten Pepper! YOU WILL NOT THREATEN TO DO ANY HARM TO THE AVENGERS!"

"Now" I look at Steven confused "Go to him now"

"Peter!" I walk over to him slowly as he continues throwing punches "Peter stop...Peter I am ok! See? I am right here!"

"H-he threatened to hurt Morgan and you" Peter stops the punches and looks at me "I will not let him do that"

"Get off him Peter" I can see the hesitation in his eyes "Get off of him and come over to me please"

He slowly does and starts to walk toward me. He is almost to me when everything goes slow. I see Peter's eyes go wide as he moves to the right. Peter slumps and Sam throws the shield and hits Harley down.

I run to Peter and see the huge burned spot on his back. I stand up and walk toward the downed Harley. I place me hand on his chest and look in his eyes. I magnetize his suit onto me and watch him start to seize.

"Rot in hell" I fire a repulsor blast and see the light leave his eyes "Take me in if you must but I do not regret it"

"He would have died from injuries anyways" Rhodes walks over to me "Lets get back to the house so we can help Peter and get that suit off you"

I nod as they get Peter up and off the ground. I fly to the house as they make sure he is stable. I need to make sure Morgan is alright. I could have lost so much tonight.

We get to the house and that is when shit hits the fan truly. The sky goes purple and the looks look like people. I see Wong and Steven go flying into the sky quickly. I look back at the others to see if they have any idea what is happening.

"Steven what is going on with this Willy Wonka sky man?" Sam has his finger on a comm link in his ear "Steven that is not an answer...What do you mean people are coming in? WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!"

We all look to see what looks like a huge tear in the sky. The ones who can start to fly toward the tear as I get the suit Harley had off me. I watch as the go to it just to be blasted back. White takes over our visions until it is replaced with darkness.

-Time skip-

I groan as I move around and open my eyes. I groan again as I blink a few times. I get worried when I see Morgan standing beside a blond woman in blue. I look to see a man in the same suit talking to Steven. I slowly get up and start walking over to them.

"MOMMY!" Morgan runs over and hugs me "You are up!"

"Yes I am baby" I look at the lady who looks deeply confused "What is going on?"

"A universal collision but we are not the only ones here" Steven walks over with the man he was talking with "New people have come with them and now we have to deal with it all"

"Think about your words bub" We all turn to see a grizzled man beside Peter "I am a vet and a mutant that can slice you before you know I was there"

"OH FUN!" I jump and turn to see a man in a red/black suit behind me "It is Pepper Potts! Why not keep Stark? Such a heroic name! I bet you miss him dearly"

"SHUT UP WADE!" The mutant guy sighs "We are here to get you Avengers to the X-Mansion"

I look at Sam who nods "I think we would enjoy heading there" Sam looks around confused "How did you all get here?"

"All?" We all look around confused which turns into fear as people start popping up from out of nowhere "What the hell?"

"To the jet" We all look at the vet who smirks "This is going to be some fun"

We all share a worried look as we follow them to god knows where. This is definitely now how I thought today would go. I pick up Morgan and Peter as I take off flying. I smile as Morgan cheers and laughs.

I can only hope she is going to be fine through this.
