Hello.
Uh, to be honest, I have no words to apologize for the lack of activity in this fic. Three months it's a LOT of time.
For that, I apologize.
There are several reasons as to why I've been pretty much inactive. I won't give you the usual "blah, blah school, blah blah work" because I can assure you this is not the case.
The only reason is that I'm lazy. Very lazy. Very very veeeeeeery lazy.
I won't deny it (I couldn't even if I wanted to anyway).
The other reason is that I'm running out of ideas for this fic. I mean, yeah I can plan what I want to happen next and all, but what about the stuff in-between that?
I think I've mentioned before but, English is NOT my native language, so it's kinda difficult to write long paragraphs or detailed dialogues and the likes (To this point, I think you already noticed my writing style; short dialogues and not much descriptions or text between dialogues) .
I still have a long way ahead of me if I want to write good fanfics. Oh, and talking about this fic:
It already passed 6k views and the 60 favorites, oh my goodness!
Not gonna lie, I'm kinda impressed a writing style as bland and bad as mine can be liked by that much people. Of course, I thank y'all for that.
Before I continue, I want to tell you guys I have on mind writing a new fic (no 5toubun, sorry). I'm still thinking about writing between DanMachi and Fate Grand Order (you guys may not know it, but I play a lot, also, I spent over 800 saint quartz for Ereshkigal, no good. Curse my luck!). About DanMachi, well, I really like that series. I've been reading the latest light novel volumes. I'm still not sure who the main pairing would be, but I would like either Aiz or Riveria since I quite like both of them.
Anyway, now that the main topic has been discussed, it's time for the usual. (*clap, clap, clap*)
IndraAshura: As always, thank you very much for worrying about my health. Thankfully, I'm doing fine (hope you're doing good too). Regarding the wedding... I'm open to suggestions! (。• ᵕ •。)
JustARandomPlayer: I pretty much appreciate your feedback, so please don't hold back! I did left it at quite the cliffhanger huh? I'm sorry about that, I'll try to update as frequently as possible. Please stay tuned~! ()

"U-Umm, Nino...?" The girl with a green ribbon decorating her hair called her sister.
"Hmm?" Said sister, who was calmly reading a fashion magazine on the couch replied without looking at her.
"Are you sure this looks good on me?" She asked with a small blush on her cheeks.
"Ah? You doubt my fashion sense, Yotsuba?" This time, Nino turned her head to look at her sister. She was wearing a black skirt with white patterns that reached just a little above her knees; a white strappy blouse with sleeves; a pair of fashionable sandals and, a thin black choker to combine with her skirt.
"Ah! No, that's not it!" Yotsuba quickly shook her head in denial. Just when she was about to reply again...
"Ara~! You look lovely, Yotsuba." Ichika, the oldest sister, complimented her sibling when she saw her outfit.
"...It looks good on you, Yotsuba." Miku, along with her trademark headphones, also paid her a compliment.
"See? I can't be wrong with stuff like this." With a triumphant "Hmph", Nino continued reading her magazine.
"W-Well, I guess it's good enough. As long as Fuutarou-kun likes it..." Yotsuba murmured with smile. Ichika noticed this.
"Ehhh~? As long as Fuutarou-kun likes it... was it?" Ichika replied mischievously.
"I-Ichika!" Yotsuba replied embarrassed.
*TAP, TAP, TAP*
"*YAWN~* Good morning, everyone..." The last and youngest member of the Nakano sisters, Itsuki, awoke from her slumber.
"Good morning, Itsuki." Ichika replied with a smile.
"...Morning." Miku waved at her.
"Good morning!" Yotsuba exclaimed cheerfully.
"About time, we were waiting for you to start breakfast." Nino closed her magazine and stood up from her seat.
"Ahh, that would be nice~" Still rubbing her eyes, Itsuki replied absentmindedly.
"Oh, it's almost time for me to go." Yotsuba glanced at her phone to check the time.
"Yotsuba? You're not having breakfast with us?" Now fully awake, Itsuki asked her sister with a hint of confusion.
"I'm sorry, Itsuki! I'll be eating outside, see ya!" Leaving those words behind, Yotsuba disappeared.
"Huh...? Is she meeting with her friends?" Itsuki asked dumbfounded.
"Fufu~ Oh you, Itsuki." Ichika lightly giggled at her sister's comment.
"...Today is the day, remember?" Miku replied while playing with her phone.
"Did you forgot about it? Today is Yotsuba's date with Fuu-kun." Nino stated.
"D-D-D-Date!?" Itsuki shouted disconcerted.
"Ah..." She remembered.
Two days ago...
""We're all Fuutarou-kun/Fuutarou/Fuu-kun's girlfriends!""
"EHHHHHH!?" Itsuki couldn't believe what her ears were hearing. She glanced at her boyfriend.
"Eh... Yes, as crazy as it sounds, it's true." Fuutarou scratched his cheek with a nervous expression.
"There you have it, so you better wait for your turn." Nino stated with a smile while tightening her grasp on the boy's arm.
"Nononono, this is just ridiculous, even for a joke!" Itsuki couldn't think straight.
"Itsuki, I know it sounds stupid, but it's the truth, I couldn't choose between your sisters and you. I love you all equally." Fuutarou said with a straight face.
"Fuu-kun!" Nino rubbed her face happily on the stoic teen's sleeve.
"M-My, you have your way with words, Mr. boyfriend." Ichika giggled, not hiding the light blush on her cheeks.
"...Mhm." Miku just closed her eyes and smiled blissfully.
"Ehehe~" Yotsuba scratched the back of her head bashfully.
"This... T-This!" Itsuki dumbfoundedly pointed her finger at the group.
"This is indecent! You're just two—no, five timing us, with our sisters no less! I can't believe you, Uesugi-kun!" Itsuki declared after seeing her sisters hanging over her boyfriend.
"I know, I deserve every single word. But my feelings won't change." His resolve never wavered.
"Ugh..."
"So, if you don't want to participate in this selfish wish of mine, you're free to do so, Itsuki. Just... Just know that my feelings for you are not fake. I truly love you." He scratched his cheek and gently smiled at her, but she could see some sadness in that smile.
"You're being unfair..." She murmured. How can I say something when you look at me with such a sad expression...
"I..." She opened her mouth to reply.
"..." The rest of the Nakano sisters and Fuutarou waited expectantly.
"I'll... think about it..." With that statement, Itsuki made her way to her own seat, not looking back at her sisters and boyfriend(?).
"Thank you, Itsuki. That means a lot." Fuutarou said.
"..." Itsuki didn't replied, she just continued "reviewing" her notes.
After that, Itsuki didn't touched the subject anymore, nor she thought about it.
Back to the present...
"I completely forgot about it..." She rubbed her temples when she remembered about her sister's affairs.
"You're exaggerating this, Itsuki." Nino said calmly.
"...! What do you mean "exaggerating", Nino? This is just plain immoral—"
"What's so immoral about being with the person I love?" Nino interrupted Itsuki before she could finish.
"T-That's..."
"You see, Itsuki. I really love Fuu-kun, he's the man who I want to spend the rest of my life with." Nino replied with a soft expression.
"..." Itsuki just listened to her sister, not sure of what to reply.
"I know this whole thing is just stupid. Heck, he can't even get married to all of us."
"Then—!"
"—But that doesn't matter to me." Nino sighed.
"B-But since we were young you always dreamed of getting married and wearing a beautiful dress!" Itsuki stated with concern.*
"Yeah, I always liked the idea." The second eldest daughter replied without hesitation.
"Then... why?"
"Oh silly sister, you still don't get it?" Nino shook her head with an irritated expression all over her face.
"?" Itsuki just looked at her confused.
"That's just how much I love Fuu-kun. Now, let's go, help me prepare the table." Just like that, Nino dismissed the conversation, leaving a thoughtful Itsuki.
'That's just how much you love Uesugi-kun, huh...' She brought her hand to her chest.
"Uesugi-kun..." While thinking about that person, Itsuki's heart grew lighter.
"Everything looks in order. Good." I double-checked the contents in my wallet. My "budget" is there. I want to thoroughly enjoy my date with Yotsuba, so I made sure to save up some money.
Looking at it objectively, my girlfriends are stinking rich so, there shouldn't be a problem with money. The problem here is, as funny as it may sound, my own pride as a boyfriend.
I'm sure my old man would laugh at me for acting the way I'm acting right now, it would be unthinkeable for the "me" of a couple months ago to spend my money this easily. Guess men do change once they fall in love (in my case, I fell in love five times).
"Still... I hope this is enough. I wouldn't like Yotsuba offering to pay for me after all." Talking of the devil...
"F-Fuutarou-kun! I'm sorry for taking so long." Yotsuba finally made her appearance, although a little worked up. Maybe she was running?
"Damn right, why did it took you so long?" I asked her with a neutral(?) tone. She scratched the back of her head.
"Uhhh... I'm sorry, I kinda lost track of the time." She looked away from me while fidgeting with her thumbs. Does she think I'm mad at her? Guess I kinda came off as being mad.
"Ah, no, don't worry about it. I don't mind waiting for you, also..." I took the opportunity to look at Yotsuba. Her whole outfit looked quite novel, although it's out of her usual clothes, she looks very good.
"Yes?" She tilted her head curiously.
"Those clothes look very nice on you, Yotsuba. You look very cute." I tried complimenting her as if it were second nature. As expected, I can't keep a straight face, I still have a ways to go before I get used to it.
"~~!" She just covered her face with both hands. Guess it's not just me.
"Shall we go now?" I took the chance to take one of her hands from her face. Her face was all flustered.
"..."
*Nod*
Once I received her approval, we started walking hand in hand towards our date.
"..." Itsuki was laying on her bed hugging one of her pillows. She knows she can't avoid the subject forever.
'Uesugi-kun...' She closes her eyes, all the while thinking about her special someone.
'You're cruel, Uesugi-kun... How do you expect me to agree to this...?' No matter how many times she thinks about it, she just can't get herself to accept it just like that.
'Still, what Nino said...' Her sister's words echoed inside her head.
"Haaa~ After all, it's no good." Itsuki sat on her bed, she knows she won't get anywhere like this.
"..." While she looked around her room, her studying material catched her interest.
'Maybe a little studying a little bit could help me clear my head. Besides, I need to work hard if I want to become a teacher like mom!' Fired up, she stood up and grabbed her stuff.
"Time to go to." Leaving those words to nobody, Itsuki went to her cram school and get some study done.
"Nakano, stop spacing out!" No good. I'm just no good.
"Seriously... why did you even came today?" Shimoda-san scolded me for not paying attention.
"Ugh... I'm sorry." I just glanced towards my notebook. It was full of mistakes.
I mean, I know I am not the sharpest tool in the shed but... I thought I already understood this stuff.
"*Sigh* Look, Nakano, you're usually more focused during our sessions. Is everything okay?" Shimoda-san sighed, giving me a slightly concerned look.
"U-Umm..." Maybe I could ask her advice on this? Another point of view is always welcomed.
"Actually... Yes, there's something." Hearing my words, my lecturer raised an eyebrow, as if telling me to continue.
'Uh, now that I think about it, I can't possibly tell her the issue is mine, can I?' I felt some cold sweat starting to form in my face. Oh-oh.
"Ah, w-well, yeah, umm..." I started getting nervous all of a sudden.
"Nakano?" Shimoda-san just frowned when she heard my attempt of explanation.
"T-This is something I saw in a television drama..." I tried using the same tactic from the last time.
"Hey, are you really taking your studies seriously?" She crossed her arms not too happy to hear that. I guess I'm safe.
"I-I need a little rest between my study sessions!" She seemed to understand and nodded to herself.
"Hmm, certainly, one needs to rest not only their body, but their mind." She gave me a thumbs up while I just sighed internally.
"So, what was it this time?" She seems really into this kind of programs...
"W-Well, you see... there is this girl who is in love with a guy—"
"—a classic."
"They got along really bad at first—"
"—*Nod*"
"But they eventually fell in love with each other and confessed their mutual feelings—"
"—sounds like your run-of-the-mill romantic comedy."
"T-That's not true! I was very happy!" Ah.
"Eh?" Shimoda-san looked at me with a confused expression.
"A-Ah! I-I mean, the scene was so beautiful that it made me feel really happy!" I desperatedly said while flailing my arms around in nervousness.
"Ahh~ I totally get you. It really gets to you, right?" Shimoda-san crossed her arms once more and nodded with a smug expression. She also repeated 'I get it, I get it~'
"A-Anyway, as I was saying, the girl was really happy to have her feelings reciprocated." Shimoda-san frowned.
"Wait, isn't that pretty much a happy end?" I shook my head.
"After that... the boy tells the girl that he's also in love with her sisters and that he wishes to go out with her and her sisters at the same time." After dropping the bomb, Shimoda-san just looked towards the ceiling in deep thought.
"Say, Nakano... Did you watched some kind of historical drama?" I was confused by her question, but I decided I should just go with it. I nodded.
"I see... (figures, that kind of polygamous stuff only happens in that kind of dramas)." She sighed.
"The problem is?" Is it that hard to get it?
"I mean, the girl doesn't know what to do once she discovered that. Her sisters don't particulary mind since they are also in love with him." I replied.
"*Nod*"
"What I meant to say is, is it really okay for this kind of relationship to exist?" I looked at Shimoda-san with expectant eyes. Although I openly complained about this immoral situation, I can't say I want to be apart from Uesugi-kun...
"..." After what felt like several minutes, Shimoda-san replied.
"Sure (I mean, it WAS legal back then). I don't see why not, if all the sisters live in peace and harmony, they should be able to live in that kind of relationship (although concubines don't tend to be all of the same family it should be the same thing)." She stated.
"W-What about what the society will say about something like that?" Somehow... I feel like I'm getting closer to the answer I'm searching for.
"The society? I doubt they should worry about something like that (polygamy was pretty much a common thing back then). They should just live the lives they want to, along with the person they love (after all, people's lifespans were shorter than now since it was a war period). That's what I think." Shimoda-san concluded. I see... So, all of this time I was making such a huge fuss about our situation.
'They should just live the lives they want to, along with the person they love'. Those words from Shimoda-san... I would say those were the deciding factor.
'I want to live lots of new experiences, together with both my sisters and... my significant one.' It may be hard, but I think we can go through anything, together.
As a family.
"Uh, so... does that help?" Shimoda-san brought me back from my own thoughts. I nodded.
"Yes, thank you very much, Shimoda-san!" She sighed, but smiled at me.
"You should try to study a little bit more of history, Nakano (after all, you were asking about such obvious stuff)."
"History?"
"Hmm?" We both looked at each other in confussion. I guess I'm also lacking in that subject... Maybe I could get Miku to help me?
"A-Ah, yes? I will do that." She just nodded in agreement and we continued the lessons.
'I want to talk to you, Uesugi-kun.' Feeling as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, I can finally concentrate on studying. Thank you, sensei.
'I kinda feel like we're not on the same page here... Well, whatever, it's probably nothing.' Dismising such thoughts, the lecturer continued her class.
*I just came up with this, since Nino likes clothes and stuff.
