Silver and Blaze had been walking for just over 15 minutes when Blaze stopped; she was quiet for a moment before throwing a fireball towards seemingly nothing. Espio leaped out of the way of the fire, throwing a kunai towards Blaze who caught it with little trouble. The pair stared each other down for a moment before Espio lowered his Blade.

"Impressive, there aren't many people who can detect me when I don't want to be seen" Espio commended before standing up straight, He didn't really want to fight Blaze and with Silver there he didn't like his chances.

"Well as a princess i've been dealing with people trying to assassinate me since I was a little girl, I've had to become extremely aware of my surroundings, You're a member of the Chaotix right? I've met Vector a couple times" As Blaze concluded Espuo checked his phone noticing the message from Charmy.

"You white hedgehog, is your name Silver by any chance?" Espio spoke very directly, his tone making it evident he wasn't looking for a conversation, he was all business.

"Yeah that's me but-"

"We've got a kid back at the detective agency looking for you. We think she's someone you know." Espio interrupted Silver, to Silver's slight annoyance.

Silver had a feeling he knew who it would be but he wasn't sure how he knew, his didn't understand what was going on with his dreams but he figured that could wait till later.

Silver and Blaze reluctantly put looking for Eggman Nega on hold for now and followed Espio to the Chaotix detective agencies headquarters, or just the cottage that served as it. Just as they were about to knock Vector opened the door.

"Oh good you're back Espio. I can deal with one hyperactive bug but I draw the line at two." Espio looked past Vector and saw the house was a mess paper all over the floor, Dirty dishes left on the table, the sink overflowing just to name a few problems.

Tulip and Charmy were both running through the wrecked house though Tulip stopped when she saw Silver, she immediately flew towards him and pulled him into a hug "Mr. Silver they found you." Her voice was a little muffled but he mostly understood what she said

"How did you get here?" Silver questioned as he put her down absentmindedly helping Espio tidy up with his telekinesis.

"Well when you didn't come back I followed you, I saw a broken robot and then a weird machine, I pressed a few buttons and a glowy thing appeared then I was here." From her explanation it was clear she didn't understand that machine anymore than he did but still he was glad to see her.

"Well i'm glad you're here it's a lot safer here than where you were" For the moment Silver thought to herself as Tulip turned her attention to Blaze

"Is this the girl you kept dreaming about Silver?" Tulip seemed to be struggling to remember her name, she knew Silver had told her but she couldn't recall.

"Blaze, it's very nice to meet you." Blaze introduced herself as she shook the girl's hand. "As much as I'd love to stay, Silver and I are very busy right now."

"Hold on you two we've got a couple questions" Vector interrupted as Espio and Silver finished cleaning the house. "We've been investigating Chao disappearing and you two seem to be involved in something suspicious so what do you know?"

Silver didn't really see the point in lying to them, they seemed pleasant enough and he owed them for taking care of Tulip. "We've been tracking Doctor Eggman Nega who seeks to summon a creature known as the Ifrit it can feed on chao to become immortal unless we stop it before it gets the chance, maybe Eggman Nega is responsible for the Chao disappearing?" Silver hazarded a guess it seemed reasonable though he still wasn't completely sure what a chao looked like.

"Well it's the best lead we got, from the sounds of it you can't really take the kid with you" Vector might not want to take care of them again but he wasn't going to let her fly head long into danger. "I'll stay here with Charmy and Tulip. Espio you go with Silver and Blaze, We still need to find the missing Chao. They seem to be your best bet right now, make sure to keep me informed." Espio nodded as he put the last dish away, Espio shot charmy a sharp look warning him not to mess up the place again whether or not Charmy would listen was a different story

"Understood, I'll make sure to pass along anything I learn, Call me if you hear anything else." Silver, Blaze and Espio didn't have much of an idea where to go, their only real lead was that smashed robot and it hadn't shown them anything they didn't already know.

When they got into town Blaze decided to call Tails, Sonic and Knuckles never answered their phones so she didn't even bother with them. "Go Ahead" Tails answered he sounded just a little stressed.

"We've sort of hit a dead end and we were wondering if you had anything new to share" Unbeknownst to Blaze, Silver had wandered off, he meant to tell her but she was on the phone and he didn't wanna interrupt.

"Well we saw Eggman and Sonic immediately went after him, Rouge seems to know something but she was being pretty secretive. I haven't seen knuckles since he ran off after her" Tails had pretty much been abandoned and When Blaze looked back to see Silver had gone she understood how it felt.

"Well Silver seems to have wandered off but we ran into Espio who's helping us investigate disappearing chao." Tails and Blaze traded information for a few more minutes not that they came up with much they decided to meet up, she trusted Silver enough that she could focus on the mission without worrying where he was.

As Far as Silver knew the Black and red figure hadn't noticed him yet, from what he could remember Shadow knew all sorts of things he shouldn't and at the very least he was a powerful person to have on your side.

For a moment be lost sight of Shadow only realising where he was when the hedgehog jumped him from behind they struggled for a moment before Silver pushed him away with his Telekinesis shadow was thrown into a wall but landed on his feet mostly unharmed.

"You must be pretty stupid to be following me stranger, I am Shadow, Shadow the hedgehog-"

"The ultimate life form" Silver interjected as he stood up earning a confused look from Shadow. The black hedgehog didn't move to attack Silver but he did seem wary of him.

"Alright, Who are you?"

Been a while huh? sorry about that I've just been struggling to think of where to go with this lately. But still hope this was enjoyable, now I'm gonna go to bed
