Hi.

Well, I think you pretty much know how this stuff goes. I apologize about not updating in a LONG WHILE even though I promised to update next Monday, which was on March 21st. So, yeah...

Look, this may not sound credible, but trust me, it happened. You see, dear reader, I (as other authors) like to write on an external program just because of mere commodity, mine being Word. Doesn't make much sense, I know. Still, that's just how I roll.

Now, the problem is that I really finished the chapter in due time! It was ready for updating on time, but as obvious as it is, I had a problem. Once I saved my file, I turned off my laptop (which is really old btw), and took a nap. When I woke up, I decided to do a final revision (Yes, I also do those even though my stories are full of mistakes and typos, sorry). Oh boy, the horror.

The whole document got corrupted or something, all of my characters where replaced with "#". I wanted to hit my head against my table (maybe I did). I lost everything in the process. So I had to rewrite everything as best as my bad memory allowed me to do so.

Why did it took me so long to rewrite the whole thing? That... is a good question, indeed. Maybe I was just mad and lazy at the same time, horrible combination. So yeah, that's the gist of it. Oh and soon after that, some of my laptops keys just stopped working.

The H and G caps to be exact. Just my luck. Do you know the amount of times I use both keys or even just the H? I invite you to count them. So I decided to buy a new keyboard, which I did! It's a mechanical keyboard. I just love the sound it makes.

Anyway, enough of excuses. I really hope I will be able to continue updating as often as I do (the nerve...) but I'll start working next week, so that means less time for writing and also lazying around.

That's basically everything summarized. Oh but you'd know all of this already if you joined my discord server. Just sayin'...

"I'm home~!" The red-haired girl said to whoever was inside the house at the moment as she came back home after having a talk with her cram school tutor.

After a couple of seconds of full silence, she concluded she was alone.

"Haa~ It seems I'm the only one here at the moment." Itsuki said in a low voice for herself. She then proceeded to take off her shoes and made her way towards the kitchen.

"Ugh… I'm kinda hungry. All of that talk with Shimoda-san made me hungry." She blushed a little bit when she remembered the sole object of their discussion.

"Uesugi-san…" After her talk with her teacher, Itsuki made a decision about her own feelings about Fuutarou and his whole "relationship" with her sisters and Itsuki herself. Yes, he was basically having a polygamous relationship with the Nakano siblings, but even so, Itsuki fell in love with Uesugi Fuutarou, that much was evident, and the glutton girl was tired of trying to deceive herself any longer.

"The only problem is how we're going to tell papa…" Truly this should be her main concern at the moment, but the girl was so occupied with her own teenager problems to even think about it.

"Sigh… I guess I shouldn't think about this too much. My sisters seem to be fine, maybe they figured something out already? Wait, what is…" With some good timing, she heard a noise coming from the second floor.

"Is that… running water?" Deciding it was best to see by herself, Itsuki walked upstairs.

It was, as she thought initially, running water. The bath being filled with water in fact.

"Geez! I've always told them to not let the water running when nobody is watching. Good grief…" Itsuki sighed at her sister's doing. Just before she could close the water faucet, she stopped.

"…Maybe a good bath could help me relax and prepare myself to talk with Uesugi-kun." Nodding at her new idea, Itsuki started undressing.

After a good washing and cleaning herself, she made her way towards the bath. She slipped one of her feet to test the temperature of the water before entering herself.

"Hmmn~! The water is just perfect. Not so cold, not so hot." An object resting just a few meters from her caught her attention.

"What's this?" It was a small container. Once she got a hold on said object, her eyes widened.

"Aromatic salts! How lovely!" Without even caring to try and think who was the owner of this item, she opened it.

"Ahh~ It smells delicious. I think I'll use some, I think I have earned it." And so Itsuki did. She poured the contents over the water and proceeded to let the rest of her body enter the bath's warm embrace.

"…"

Silence. Not the kind of silence that makes the mood uncomfortable or anything, but nonetheless, silence. Until Itsuki decided to say something.

"A-Ah, Uesugi-kun… I was thinking about it and… no that's no good…" She, of course, started doing some mental preparation before meeting her tutor and target of her affections.

"Uesugi-kun, please have a seat, there is something I want to discuss with you… No! That's too formal!"

Trapped in her own thoughts, Itsuki couldn't hear the sound of the bathroom door being opened.

"…?"

"Fuutarou-kun… No, what am I, Ichika…?"

"…"

"Uesugi-kun… I—" Then it happened.

"Itsuki."

"—I love you! I am very much infatuated with your person!" Itsuki's mind and mouth weren't in sync since the words left her mouth even though her mind already noticed her sister, Miku, standing, towel in hand, looking at her with a dumbfounded expression on her face.

"…"

"A-Ah, no—"

"…Hmm." Miku just looked at her with her usual stoic face.

"M-Miku! This is not what it looks like!" Itsuki tried to divert her sister's attention elsewhere. Of course, this was not an option for Miku.

"Uesugi-kun… I love you!"

"NOOOOOO—!" Itsuki's scream was muffled once she hid her head underwater, not caring about wetting her hair again, leaving only the sounds of bubbles and what sounded like a deaf scream of embarrassment.

"…Pfft." Nakano Miku is a force to be reckoned with.

"Uhh… I can believe you made fun of me! I am your sister you know!?" Itsuki, now a little bit more composed, was sulking and recriminating her sister about her teasing. Miku just sighed in exchange.

"…With you shouting it to my face, I think you were begging for it." Miku stated in a deadpanned voice. Itsuki shook her head fiercely.

"I-I didn't know you were at home! Why didn't you say anything when I entered the house!" Miku just shook her head.

"…I didn't hear you. I was playing a game while the bath was getting filled." Tough luck, Itsuki.

"Geez…" The red-haired girl decided it was best to not say anything and just looked away while her cheeks were blushing.

"…Still—"

"Hmm…?" Itsuki turned to look at Miku.

"—I'm glad you decided to be happy." Itsuki couldn't stay mad at her sister forever, can she?

"Miku…"

"Even though you spout embarrassing stuff."

"You still on about that!? God!" Maybe she can.

After Miku made fun of her a little more, both sisters started talking about stuff. About school, about clothes, games, food. Of course, this included talking about their common love interest and boyfriend (in Miku's case at least) and eventually, both left the bath.

"…By the way, Itsuki." Miku sudden call made Itsuki tilt her head in curiosity.

"Yes?" Miku held a container Itsuki knew all too well.

"Geh!" Miku sighed after gauging her sister's reaction.

"Haaa~ I knew the water smelled familiar. You used my aromatic salts, right? Not only that but you also used most of it." Itsuki sweatdropped at her sister's accusations. She was right.

"T-That was yours, Miku? I-I'm sorry! I swear I will buy you a new one!" Itsuki nervously replied. Miku just smiled.

"…Fufu, I'm just kidding. I was going to take a bath too anyways. Just remember to use less the next time you decide to use it, okay?" It was Itsuki's turn to sigh now.

"Geez, what's with you people lately! Always teasing me and making fun of me…"

This small gag ended in Miku giving Itsuki some sweets Nino made before going out on an errand, thus, appeasing her glutton little sister. Today also, the Nakano quintuplets bond keeps deepening.

After that, one by one her sisters arrived home, and she decided to tell them the truth and her feelings, earning her diverse reactions. From Nino's 'Ha! About time!' to Ichika's 'Fufu, truly took you long enough, Itsuki-chan~'.

Soon, Yotsuba, who was out on a date with Fuutarou, arrived home. The rest, well, you already know that.
