In case you haven't read the summary, this story centres around one of my OC Naruto characters (cringe I know, but hey ho)
I know that OC stuff is not for everyone, if so that's cool, no hard feelings.
After a longer wait than I planned here is chapter 2

"This is an example" – Naruto language 'Elemental.'
Language distinction will start when characters from both Naruto and RWBY are in the same scene or when in each other's world.
Shinobi Exchange Students at Beacon Academy
Chapter II – A Show of Good Faith
Six months since the ceasefire
Arashi was protecting Lady Tsunade; it was a Gokage summit that Tsunade had called, Tsunade found them dull, but it was something she had to do, to keep the peace after receiving a ceasefire request from Remnant
"I say we should throw this peace offer in their faces" A stated angrily.
"And send more people to die?" Tsunade countered.
"We have already proven that we can beat them" A retorted.
"If you remember, only Suna and Konoha fought in the war" Gaara pointed out.
A simply scoffed, and Mei smiled slightly. She had taken a liking to Gaara.
After the war, Gaara was appointed the Kazekage of Suna, and the people began to accept him when he cleared the skies over Suna of the ships that threatened the village.
"Lord Kazekage and I have received a request from someone called Ozpin" Tsunade stated.
"He has invited us to send four Shinobi to one of the schools they have, to help with the peace talks" Gaara added to the point Tsunade brought up.
"HA, why would we send any of our Shinobi there? It's clear we are stronger" A interjected.
"As Lord Kazekage stated, it's to help with the peace talks" Mei pointed out, making A look foolish.
"Lady Mizukage is correct; a show of good faith will go a long way in smoothing things over" Tsunade stated.
"Who should we send?" Ōnoki asked.
"It should be people who fought in the war" Gaara stated.
"That leaves the rest of us out" A interrupted Gaara.
"We requested your help, and you denied us, you have no rights in this matter" Tsunade stated firmly.
At this, A stood up, causing all the other Kage to stand up, which brought out the bodyguards.
Standing with the three-pronged Kunai ready, Arashi waited for the order.
"This meeting is to discuss peace opportunities with these Remnians, not start another Shinobi Great War" Mifune spoke up, trying to rein everyone back in.
Both Ōnoki and A looked at the three-pronged Kunai with disgust, as it reminded them of how a single man humiliated them on the battlefield.
Having lowered the temperature in the room, Mifune sighed when the Kage retook their seats.
"May I remind the Raikage that it was at the request of the Hokage that you are here" Mifune stated.
"This meeting was between the Kazekage and the Hokage; however, the Hokage invited her fellow Kage to this meeting in good faith" Mifune continued.
"Hmph" A grunted.
Ōnoki said nothing. Mei smiled and nodded at Tsunade and Gaara.
"If there is nothing else, then I am leaving" A scoffed, standing up to leave.
"As am I. This is nothing more than a farce" Ōnoki stated as he also left.
The Mizukage watched as her colleagues from Iwa and Kumo left the meeting.
"What of you Mizukage?" Mifune enquired.
"I thank the Hokage and Kazekage for including us, but I feel at present Kiri has nothing to offer" Mei stated, being much more polite than her colleagues.
"Should the invaders return, however, Kiri shall stand with Suna and Konoha" Mei added as she got up to leave.
"Well, if this is no longer a Gokage summit, I too shall take my leave" Mifune stated.
"Hokage, Kazekage" Mifune said, bidding them farewell.
Tsunade and Gaara would continue the discussion in Konoha.
Meanwhile on Remnant
"This is a waste of time; while we talk, they will be preparing to strike" General Ironwood stated angrily to the representatives of the four kingdoms.
"We should use this time to send in a small craft and drop the dust bomb" Ironwood added.
"Might I remind you that this war only happened because you were overzealous in protecting SDC property" Ozpin stated.
"I did what I had to, to protect our people" Ironwood replied.
"You took trigger-happy mercenaries to a new world and attacked the locals" a Councilwoman from Vacuo stated.
"The only reason you are still a General is because you hold two seats in Atlas, remember this" the Councilwoman added.
"Why are we not discussing the fact that Ozpin wants to let four of them here, around children" Ironwood stated.
"That was agreed upon by this committee" the Councilman from Mistral stated.
"When was this? I heard of no vote" Ironwood stated, clearly annoyed.
"Vale, Mistral and Vacuo are all in agreement on this matter, your vote and opinion matter not" the Councilwoman of Vacuo stated.
"I suggest that we recess, and let cooler heads prevail" Ozpin stated, feeling the tension in the room.
"Agreed" the Councilwoman stated.
With that, all in attendance got up and left.
"Oz, you can't be serious in letting them near children" Ironwood stated.
"I am James, it is a show of good faith, one I hope they will offer in return at some point" Ozpin replied.
"You want children to go there?" Ironwood stated in disbelief.
"It would go a long way to building trust between us" Ozpin replied.
"You haven't seen what they can do!" Ironwood said, looking at his mechanical arm.
"I know you faced one in combat, but that was in wartime James" Ozpin replied
"We are not currently at war, and I would like to keep it that way" Ozpin added.
"You just don't get it Oz, our hunters and huntresses in training are 17, by the time they are 17, they have years of combat experience" Ironwood stated.
"Did you know Shinobi start training at 6 years old?" Ironwood added.
"I do" Ozpin replied. It seemed to sadden him that children so young were fighting and dying on the frontlines over there.
Back in EN
"We currently cannot spare too many Jonin" Gaara informed Tsunade.
"Temari, however, has requested to go" Gaara added.
"Very well, we shall fill the other spots with our Shinobi" Tsunade replied.
"Who do you have in mind?" Gaara asked Tsunade.
"One of our Jonin, Haruki Arashi" Tsunade stated.
"He would be the leader, I presume" Gaara replied.
"Yes" Tsunade confirmed.
"Nara Shikamaru, brilliant but lazy" Tsunade stated.
"One of the best tactical minds we have, and at such a young age" Tsunade added.
"I remember his fights in the Chunin exams" Gaara stated, somewhat ashamed of how he used to be.
"If you are sure that you can't send anyone else, I will fill the last spot with Hyūga Neji" Tsunade continued.
Gaara could remember when Neji and Naruto fought. Naruto's words back then meant nothing to him, but now, he fully understands them, or at least he hopes he does.
"How is Naruto" Gaara questioned.
"He is well, Jiraiya managed to keep him away from the war, only once was there a close call" Tsunade stated.
"Jiraiya used his toads to deal with the problem" Tsunade added.
"Keeping the war from Naruto was probably a good idea" Gaara stated.
"I could see him trying to end it himself" Gaara added.
"That is what Jiraiya and I thought as well" Tsunade stated.
"He doesn't have enough control over the Kyūbi yet to be let loose on a battlefield" Tsunade added.
Gaara remained silent, remembering how Naruto saved him from darkness. He would like to one day return that favour.
After a few weeks, everything had been sorted out, the Shinobi who would be going to Remnant had been confirmed, and it was decided that they would attend Beacon Academy.
The only thing asked of the Shinobi is that the Shinobi they send, be of similar age.
"Nara Shikamaru, Hyūga Neji, you have both been chosen to attend Beacon Academy as part of an exchange program, this will also help with peace talks" Tsunade stated.
"This is optional. I understand should you not wish to go" Tsunade asked both Shikamaru and Neji.
"I accept this mission" both Shikamaru and Neji stated simultaneously.
"Good, your team leader should be here shortly" Tsunade stated.
After a few moments, there was a knock on the door to the Hokage office.
"Enter" Tsunade called out.
The door opened and Shikamaru and Neji were surprised when they saw who it was.
Arashi walked into the room, in his Jonin gear, ready to leave as soon as everyone was ready.
He had been briefed on the mission earlier.
"You!" Shikamaru said in surprise after seeing who it was.
"Hello, Shikamaru, Neji" Arashi stated to both.
Arashi stood next to Shikamaru and Neji, waiting for the team's fourth member.
It wasn't long before there was a knock on the door.
"Enter" Tsunade called again.
The door opened and Shikamaru was even more surprised to see her here.
"Temari, just in time, this is who you will be with at Beacon Academy" Tsunade stated.
"Haruki Arashi, Jonin in charge, Hyūga Neji and I believe you already know Shikamaru" Tsunade stated.
Temari looked at the three males in front of her, she was pleased to see Shikamaru, she remembered Neji from the Chunin exams, and Arashi from the march onto the final base the Remnants had in the Elemental Nations.
She stood next to Shikamaru and listened as Tsunade explained the mission.
Afterwards, everyone assembled at the South gate of Konoha. From there, they would travel South, cross into Cha, then finally board what the Remnants called a 'Bullhead' for transport through the portal, then, presumably onto Beacon.
Arashi signed the group out of the village, chatting with the Chunin at the gate while he did, once he had signed the book, he walked back to the group.
The four turned and left the village, moving faster than the eye could see. They jumped through the trees surrounding Konoha. Arashi had to go at a slower pace, so as not to leave the other three behind.
"So, what should we call you?" Temari asked, wondering what honorific to use.
"Just Arashi is fine" Arashi replied, leaping through the air.
"What do you think we will do over there?" Neji asked.
"Not sure" Arashi replied, "I would assume with it being an academy, it will be something akin to our academy" Arashi stated.
"I take it the reason you're with us is in case the war restarts?" Shikamaru asked, or rather, stated.
"Exactly" Arashi replied.
It took them one full day to get to the portal in Cha; they had rested around the halfway point, Arashi didn't want to push the others too hard.
As the four came out of the trees and took the path to the main entrance, they could see a man standing on one of the landing pads, he reminded them of Kakashi with his silver hair.
"Six months already" Temari mumbled.
"Hm?" Shikamaru asked.
"Oh, nothing, it's just that I was last here six months ago. It seems like yesterday" Temari clarified.
"I heard it was quite a battle" Neji stated.
"It was, outnumbered 10-to-1, some of the slower Shinobi got hit and somewhere taken by surprise" Temari replied.
"Then all hell let loose when Arashi somehow redirected the command ships attack back at them" Temari stated.
"How did you even do that?" Temari asked.
"The Yondaime Hokage had some interesting abilities" Arashi replied.
"I heard you made quite a mess on the main ship" Shikamaru stated.
"So did I" Temari replied.
"The Jutsu of the Yondaime Hokage are now feared in two worlds now. I guess" Neji pointed out.
"It would seem that way" Temari replied.
Finally, after walking for a bit, they had reached the man waiting next to the Bullhead.
"Greeting, can you speak our language?" Ozpin asked.
"Yes" the four replied in unison.
"Great, I am Professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon Academy" Ozpin stated.
"Hello headmaster, I am Haruki Arashi, Jonin in charge" Arashi stated.
"Hello, I'm Nara Shikamaru, Chunin" Shikamaru said.
"Greetings, I am Hyūga Neji, Genin" Neji informed Ozpin
"I'm Temari, Chunin" Temari stated.
"Interesting makeup of your team, a Jonin, two Chunin and a Genin" Ozpin stated.
Ozpin looked at Arashi for a moment as if trying to remember something, and then he realised why the name was so familiar.
"The little flash of the leaf? Is that right?" Ozpin asked
"Yes" Arashi replied, raising an eyebrow.
"While you may be the right age, your abilities are far above what will be required at Beacon" Ozpin stated.
"Not to mention, it is full of children who, for the most part, have little more than basic training and no combat experience" Ozpin stated
"It's in case the war kicks off again" Arashi replied
"I suppose that makes sense, and please restrain yourself while at my Academy. I would like it to remain intact after you leave, and I shouldn't have to state that while you are all in the age group of our students, there is a difference in combat experience, so restraint would be greatly appreciated." Ozpin replied.
"As long as we are not at war, there will be no issues" Arashi stated.
"Then I shall do my best to keep us at peace, but it is mutual; you must also try to strive for peace" Ozpin added
Arashi nodded in agreement.
"Please, step on board, and we will be off" Ozpin stated.
'James is going to love this' Ozpin thought.
As the four Shinobi stepped on board, Ozpin watched them. He could tell they had all participated in the war, not just because of how old they were in this world but by how they carried themselves around him.
Arashi, in particular, had caught his eye. While he showed no signs of hostility, he gathered that Arashi had plotted escape routes, targets of value and weak points before anyone in the compound saw him.
'It will be an interesting four years' Ozpin thought as he boarded the Bullhead himself.
The Bullhead took off once Ozpin was on and headed for the portal.
The four Shinobi wondered what the portal would be like. What happened was sorely disappointing.
There was no tunnel, no bumpy ride or lightning. It was instant, one minute they could see the portal in front of them and the landscape of Cha, and then the portal was behind them and an unfamiliar city in front of them.
Unlike in the Elemental Nations, it seems that the portal here was over a large city.
"That is the city of Vale" Ozpin stated.
"Considering how those ships of yours are, I was expecting… More" Arashi stated.
"Vale and Atlas have very different ideologies" Ozpin retorted.
"I can see that" Arashi stated bluntly.
"Over in the distance is Beacon" Ozpin pointed to the tower on the horizon.
As the Bullhead got closer to Beacon, more and more of the Academy could be seen.
"Okay, that's more impressive" Arashi had to admit.
Ozpin smiled at this, feeling somewhat please the Shinobi was impressed by something.
"The other students will be arriving in a few hours. Initiation is tomorrow; you will sleep in the ballroom tonight" Ozpin informed the four Shinobi.
"That won't be an issue, will it" Ozpin asked with a hint of worry.
"Of course not, no problem" Arashi stated.
"What if a student attacks us" Temari questioned.
"Then you may defend yourself with reasonable force to deescalate the situation. After that, the staff will take over" Ozpin stated.
"Understood" Arashi stated.
The four Shinobi mulled around for the two hours it would take the other students to arrive; they started to get to know each other better. Shikamaru already knew and was friendly with Arashi, but outside of the Chunin exams and chasing Sasuke, he had not interacted much with Neji, and he was on good terms with Temari.
As they chatted about various things, the sound of the engines could be heard in the distance. They decided to go and look, presuming it was the other students.
They watched as the large airship landed and students filed out; one seemed very out of place. He was throwing up in a trash can.
"Is that who they expect to fight for them?" Temari stated, finding the situation rather humorous.
"From personal experience with blonds that seem out of place, I will reserve judgment for later" Shikamaru stated, drawing an agreeable nod from Neji.
The four continued to watch. Most students were too busy to notice the four strangely dressed people off to the side.
As they watched one girl with black hair and red highlights bump into a white-haired girl who preceded to act rather high and mighty, the white-haired girl shook the dust in her hand. The little red girl sneezed and caused an explosion.
Arashi couldn't help but chuckle. He had guessed as to who the white-haired girl was; this drew a look from the other three
"Do you know who I am?" the arrogant girl asked.
"Weiss Schnee, hair to the Schnee Dust Company, the largest producer and exporter of Dust" Arashi stated.
"Finally, some recognition" Weiss stated as she turned to see who it was that recognised her. Her reaction was all that needed to be said.
As Weiss was about to open her mouth, another voice interjected.
"The same Schnee Dust Company infamous for its questionable labour practices and shady business partners" a black-haired girl with a bow stated.
"How dare you" Weiss stated feeling affronted.
Looking at the girl who blew her up, the girl who insulted her and the obvious Shinobi, Weiss decided to leave, but not before huffing like a spoiled brat.
"Um, thanks" the little girl said to the black-haired one, but she had already left.
Turning to the other person, she suddenly was lost for words. Before her stood a Shinobi, no four Shinobi Ruby realised when she saw the others behind the one who spoke to Weiss, she wasn't sure how to feel. She had heard the stories from survivors, the brutal Shinobi that had child soldiers, the enemy that could cut through teams of hunters and huntresses as if they were children playing with toys.
The man in front of her stood modestly tall. For the most part, his outfit, bar a few things, looked like the Leaf Jonin uniform she had seen in the videos about Shinobi.
The one with his hair tied up like a pineapple had a short-sleeved shirt, a similar flak-jacket to the one who stood in front of her, he also had dark grey trousers, his band thing was on his arm instead of his head.
The third Shinobi had long brown hair, with a larger headband than the others, brown shorts and a bandage around one arm and one leg, and a padded cream vest with short sleeves. He wore the same sandals as the second one.
The girl had a tight purple top with grey armour around her chest and stomach; it circled around her back. There was a red band in the middle and red straps over her shoulders attached to the armour. She also had a skirt that stopped just above her knees that was also purple, but darker; she wore black sandals similar to the one in front of her. She also has a giant metal thing on her back; it was almost the same height as the girl it was attached to.
The girl wore her band thing around her neck, and unlike the other three, it also had a different symbol, rather than a spiral leaf. It looked like an hourglass with a hat.
'No' she thought, 'those were just stories, and this one took the heat of the angry girl off her' she continued to think.
"U... Um, thanks" the girl said meekly.
"You're welcome" Arashi replied, "My name is Haruki Arashi" he added, introducing himself.
"Haruki?" the little girl struggled to repeat what he said.
"Arashi is my first name, Haruki is my family name, we give out family name first, sorry for any confusion" Arashi cleared the misunderstanding.
"Ah, Arashi, nice to meet you, I'm Ruby Rose, or well, Rose Ruby" Ruby stated, making her first name clear.
"Ruby huh, well Ruby Rose, see you around," Arashi said with a smile before returning to his group, leaving Ruby in the courtyard with whom he had heard one of the girls call 'Vomit Boy'.
"Weiss Schnee, she is what I pictured a Schnee to be like" Temari stated.
"She seems rather sure of herself and her position" Neji stated.
"I don't think all Schnee's are bad, or at least one of them doesn't seem that bad" Arashi stated.
"You met a Schnee?" Shikamaru asked, somewhat surprised.
"Once" Arashi replied.
"Winter Schnee then, seeing as she was the only Schnee who has been to our world" Temari correctly deduced.
"I heard stories from Shinobi who had been captured. She was, not nice but not abrasive either, for the most part" Shikamaru stated.
"She seemed to be honourable, wanting to stop the war and save lives when I met her" Arashi replied
"Anyway, should be head to induction?" Arashi said, changing the subject.
Ruby could hear the four Shinobi talk, but she could not understand what they said as they started talking in another language.
The four Shinobi walked to the auditorium where the headmaster would be giving a speech; they could feel the stares from students and staff alike.
Ozpin walked out onto the stage with a blonde woman next to him,
"I'll keep this brief" Ozpin started talking, causing the more rowdy students to quiet down.
"You have travelled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills" Ozpin continued.
"And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people, but I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far" Ozpin said next.
"It is up to you to take the first step" Ozpin added.
"I should also make you all aware. You might have heard rumours that Shinobi are attending Beacon this year; let me put those rumours to rest. They are indeed true" Ozpin finished and walked off to murmurs and whispers.
The blonde woman walked up to the microphone after Ozpin and said "You will gather in the ballroom tonight, tomorrow, your initiation begins, be ready, you are dismissed".
Arashi spotted the Schnee yelling at Ruby again, handing her some sort of pamphlet. A blonde girl came to Ruby's defence.
"Time to chat with the locals" Arashi stated.
Temari rolled her eyes while Shikamaru and Neji just followed along.
"If it isn't Rose Ruby" Arashi said jokingly.
The three girls looked around at the sudden voice.
"Ugh, what is someone like you doing here at this prestigious Academy" Weiss stated at the Shinobi.
"World domination" Arashi replied bluntly.
Weiss was shocked until she saw the smirk on his face.
"Ugh" Weiss stomped her foot and left.
"Child" Arashi muttered so that she would hear it; she did not respond and simply stormed off.
"Oh, sis, this is the Shinobi guy I was telling you about" Ruby told her sister.
"Shinobi huh, well, if Ruby is good with you then so am I" the blonde said offering her hand.
"Yang Xiao Long" the woman said.
"Arashi" he responded, clasping her hand.
Neji, Shikamaru and a reluctant Temari also introduced themselves
"Well, there you go Ruby, you are no longer the youngest person at Beacon" Yang stated, looking at Shikamaru as he was one year younger than Ruby
"Yeah, but he's a Chunin and has more combat experience than both of us combined" Ruby informed her sister.
"Wait, now that you mention it, why is someone so young already one of your Chunin?" Yang asked.
"We attend our Shinobi Academy from six years old" Shikamaru replied.
"It used to be five" Arashi stated.
"But you spent years there, right?" Yang asked, somewhat shocked.
"I graduated at twelve" Shikamaru stated.
"Same" Neji added
"So did I" Temari added as well.
"I graduated at Nine" Arashi stated.
"What" Yang and Ruby stated with shock in unison.
"Seriously?" Yang asked.
"Yes" Arashi replied.
"And your Eighteen now, so that's nine years of experience already" Yang pointed out.
Yang remembered an incident that almost killed her and Ruby; while she was being saved, Arashi was graduating from Ninja school.
"Nine years of experience then" Yang stated.
"Would love to see how I stack up" Yang told the group.
Temari chuckled.
"I may not be a Shinobi, but I'm no slouch" Yang said, offended.
"Sorry, sorry" Temari said, stifling her laughter.
"We seem to have drawn an audience" Neji pointed out.
Yang and Ruby looked around, seeing a bunch of students look at them converse so openly with the Shinobi.
Ruby seemed uncomfortable with the attention; Yang didn't seem to care.
"Come on, let's go; it seems like Ruby here is not a fan of attention" Arashi stated.
Shikamaru, Neji and Temari turned and followed Arashi out of the room.
"See you around" Arashi stated to Yang and Ruby
The four mainly kept to themselves until it was time for bed. The four Shinobi took a corner away from everyone, almost blending into the shadow in the corner.
There were still some hushed whispers and glances in the direction of the Shinobi, most seemed to be out of curiosity, but others were hate-fuelled.
Not that this bothered them.
The four Shinobi looked to be asleep. However, they were waiting for everyone else to fall asleep, before they went. A small disturbance could be heard; they recognised it as Ruby, her sister Yang, Weiss and the other girl from the courtyard.
Eventually, the candle she had was blown out and the Shinobi went to sleep as well.
As the sun began to crest the horizon, the four Shinobi began to wake; as they looked around, everyone else was still asleep.
"What do you think initiation will be?" Shikamaru asked the group in general.
"I'm not sure" Arashi replied.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be rather easy" Neji stated.
"It's probably laughable" Temari commented.
"Their world does not seem as harsh as ours" Neji stated.
The group waited around, rather bored; they spoke in Elemental so as not to be overheard, it was also easier for them to talk in their native language.
After three or so hours, the other students began to get up and changed; in the locker room, the four Shinobi got their weapons and equipment ready.
They could hear Weiss talking to someone, then belittling someone else.
"She really annoys me" Temari stated.
"Just ignore her" Shikamaru advised Temari.
Temari frowned before letting it go.
The four had all their gear in place. As they walked out, most students made way for them, some stopped what they were doing and just stared as this was the closest they had been to the Shinobi, and now they were fully kitted out.
Weiss was talking to a redhead when she noticed that the girl she was talking to had her attention elsewhere, as did the blonde boy.
"What?" Weiss asked, turning to see four fully armed and armoured Shinobi walking towards her.
She gulped. She thought they looked so serious; the aura they gave off was frightening.
The redhead looked at the group. She had never seen a Shinobi before; she wasn't sure how to feel, they had done nothing to her, but on the other hand her father died in the Elemental Nations.
She stood and watched them leave the locker room in complete silence.
Everyone stood at the top of a cliff as Ozpin explained that they would be flung into the forest and must land safely and that the first person they locked eyes with would be their partner for the next four years.
As Arashi looked around, he could see some of the students looked nervous and excited, but none as enthusiastic as an Orange-haired girl, who seemed to be vibrating with excitement.
"Let's get this over with" Temari stated.
"We are probably going to be here for four years; let's make the most of it" Shikamaru said to Temari.
One by one, the pads launched the students into the air, Ruby was launched, and she seemed to hit a bird.
Temari was launched next. It was clear she had no intention of being with non-Shinobi as once airborne, she unfolded her fan and rode it through the air.
Ozpin and Glynda both looked at the Kunoichi as she soared through the air on a giant fan with three purple circles.
"So that's what that was" Glynda stated.
Neji was launched next. He used his Jūken to boost his speed, pushing him faster through the air.
Shikamaru was next to be launched. He wasn't one for fan fair, and he let himself disappear into the trees and took off.
The launch plate Arashi stood on soon sent him into the air. Ozpin and Glynda watched him closely as they did with the other three. However, unlike the other three, as Arashi began to fall back to the ground, he simply vanished.
'Very fast' both Ozpin and Glynda thought.
Flickering to the ground, Arashi looked around. He couldn't see or sense anyone around.
Without a sound, Arashi vanished into thin air once again, dashing through the trees faster than any of the locals could see. He headed towards the relics; on the way, he saw someone else running through the trees.
"Guess we are partners" Arashi called out to the person he saw
"Heh, looks like we are" Neji replied, stopping on the tree he had just landed on
Arashi and Neji headed for the relics quickly, so fast that they arrived first.
Circling above Temari landed.
"I guess you two are partners" she stated, just as Shikamaru appeared.
"Looks like it's you and I" Temari said, looking at Shikamaru.
"I guess" Shikamaru replied, looking somewhat apprehensive.
"You know this forest is rather nice" Arashi stated
"Pft, Konoha has a forest; this is a park" Temari stated bluntly.
Neji simply looked deadpan while Arashi chuckled, and Shikamaru sighed.
"Still, it's rather nice" Arashi persisted.
"I guess" Temari relented.
As they began to walk back towards the cliff, four boys barged through, acting like they were a gift from the Kami.
"Oh, look, it's the scary Shinobi" the brown-haired one said.
"Hahaha, freaks" the blue-haired one added.
Arashi watched Temari grit her teeth, it looked like she was about to restart the war, but she took a deep breath and walked off.
"Woah, Woah, where do you think you are going" the one with a green mohawk asked.
"We are gonna put the hurt on you" the brown-haired one stated.
As they moved towards the Shinobi, Ozpin was watching on the cameras.
"I feared this might happen" Ozpin stated.
"We have to stop them" Glynda stated.
"If the Shinobi lose control, they will kill them" Glynda added.
"I want to trust them, but be ready" Ozpin stated to Glynda, gripping the handle of his mug tightly.
"Tch" Temari stated.
"I'm going to enjoy this" Temari said, with a cruel smirk on her face.
"Tch, here we go, what a drag" Shikamaru stated, knowing full well what was about to happen.
The brown-haired and green mohawk ones attacked first. She simply moved out of the way, and then there was a gust of wind, and the two boys were flung into trees.
"First star" Temari said, causing both Shikamaru and Neji to remember the fight between Temari and Tenten.
The blonde and blue-haired boys attacked next. Same result, Temari moved out of the way, followed by another gust of wind.
"Second star" Temari said with a nasty smirk.
"Those are circles, not stars, you dumb bitch" the one with the mohawk said as he got up from the tree and attacked.
Temari stared at the boy with a look that could kill, blocking every attack. Then there was another gust of wind.
"Three stars" she said, overemphasising the 'stars'.
"That's it your done" the brown-haired one shouted.
"Fūton Kamaitachi" Temari called out her Jutsu name and waved her fan. The gust of wind picked the four boys up high into the air. It shattered their aura in seconds and left lacerations all over exposed skin and small cuts on the armour.
Arashi looked worried, but he relaxed when he saw how week she had made the Jutsu.
The four boys did not seem to like it, though. After the wind died down, they groaned slightly before passing out.
"It seems she controlled herself" Ozpin stated, after seeing that other than superficial cuts, the boys were very much alive.
"This time" Glynda remarked.
Temari collapsed her fan and walked back to her group.
"Pathetic" Temari stated, clearly unimpressed and very bored.
"At least you didn't kill them" Shikamaru commented.
Temari just continued walking.
All this time, Neji was simply watching. He had activated his Byakugan, hoping to get a glimpse of aura being used in this world, he was also disappointed.
As they were going to follow Temari back to the cliff, Yang and the dark-haired girl with a bow appeared.
"Oh, hey" Yang said as she saw the Shinobi.
"Hey" Arashi replied.
"You guys made it here first?" Yang stated.
"Not surprising really" the dark-haired one said.
"I'm Blake Belladonna by the way" she told the four Shinobi.
"Haruki Arashi" Arashi replied.
"Hyūga Neji" Neji stated.
"Nara Shikamaru" Shikamaru added.
"Oh, they put their family names first" Yang told her partner.
"I think some people do that here as well" Blake stated, turning to the darker blonde-haired woman who was walking away.
"I'm bored of this. I'm heading to the cliff; play with them if you want" Temari stated.
Yang and Blake looked at the other three Shinobi in confusion, not understanding what she said.
"She says hello" Shikamaru said.
"That's Temari, don't mind her" Shikamaru added.
"Uh-huh" Yang replied; both Yang and Blake seemed to know that was a lie.
Yang and Blake started to walk to the relics, with Arashi, Shikamaru and Neji following them.
Yang and Blake's eyes went wide when they saw the four boys.
"What happened to them?" Yang asked, running to check on them.
"They are fine. They decided to try and fight Temari" Arashi stated.
"And she did this to them?" Yang stated, with shock.
"It's just superficial cuts" Arashi stated.
"They are out cold" Yang argued.
"It's probably shock" Arashi pointed out.
"You could have at least carried them back to the cliff" Blake said.
"Yeah, there are Grimm out here" Yang said.
"I assume that's what all those negative feelings around are?" Arashi asked.
"Yes, wait, you can sense the Grimm?" Yang asked with surprise in her voice.
"Yes, I'm what's known as a sensor type Shinobi" Arashi stated.
"We really should take them back to the cliff" Blake stated.
Arashi looked at Shikamaru and Neji and shrugged.
Arashi made a cross with both his middle and index fingers and said "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu"
Four copies of Arshi appeared and picked up the four unconscious boys.
Yang and Blake stood shocked at the four perfect clones of the Shinobi walking around as if it was nothing.
"You have probably never seen the Shadow Clone Jutsu before" Arashi stated.
"No, definitely not" Blake said, feeling a little jealous of the clone technique, as hers can't walk around and interact with things; they simply take a hit and die.
"Oh, what relic should we get?" Yang asked her partner.
"Not sure" Blake replied.
"How about a pretty pony?" Yang stated, picking it up.
Blake shrugged as Yang took it.
"What did you all get?" Yang asked.
"This white castle" Arashi stated, showing it.
Yang and Blake looked at him, confused.
"That's the white rook, from chess" Yang stated.
Arashi, Shikamaru and Neji all looked at each other and shrugged.
"Do you guys not have chess?" Yang enquired.
"What's chess?" Shikamaru asked.
"It's a strategy game, where you move pieces and try to take the enemy king" Blake stated.
"I can show you how to play" she added.
"Oh, so it's like Shogi?" Arashi stated.
"Well, if it's anything like Shogi, you shouldn't play against Shikamaru, he will always win" Arashi added.
Shikamaru just rolled his eyes.
In the short silence, Blake noticed something, two girls on a Nevermore.
Blake tapped Yang and asked, "Is that your sister".
"Huh" was all Yang got out.
"YANG HEADS UP" a flying Ruby shouted as she slammed into her sister.
Before anyone could react a Grimm came through the bushes and collapsed.
"Aw, it's broken" the Orange-haired girl said, followed by the groaning of an exhausted man behind her.
"Nora, never do that again" he said between breaths.
Without even acknowledging what the man behind her said she ran and picked up the black rook and sang "I'm the queen of the castle, I'm the queen of the castle".
"NORA" The man shouted.
"Coming Ren" Nora stated.
"Did she ride an Ursa here?" Blake half questioned, and half stated.
The yellow-haired boy came flying through the bushes and landed in a tree, while a Deathstalker chased the redhead.
"Did they run all the way here with a Deathstalker chasing them?" Blake again stated and questioned at the same time.
There was a visible twitch in both Neji and Yang's eyes.
"I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. CAN EVERYONE JUST CHILL OUT FOR TWO SECONDS BEFORE SOMETHING CRAZY HAPPENS AGAIN" Yang yelled.
Two seconds later there was a screech.
"I can't believe you left me" Weiss screamed.
"I said jump" Ruby replied.
"She's going to fall" Blake stated.
"She'll be fine" Ruby replied.
"She's falling" Ren pointed out.
Everyone was surprised to see Arashi appear next to Weiss and catch her. Arashi then landed without making a sound and put Weiss down.
"Don't think this makes us friends" Weiss stated.
"Wouldn't dream of it" Arashi replied.
Just then, the redhead was flung to the ground near the group.
"Great, the gang is all here; we can die together" Yang stated.
"Not if I can help it" Ruby stated, charging at the Deathstalker, despite her sister's protest.
The Deathstalker swiped its claw and hit Ruby. As she got up from the attack, she said, "D… Don't worry I'm fine" rather unconvincingly.
Ruby then shot at the Deathstalker, but the bullets bounced off of the armour plating.
Ruby started to run from the Deathstalker.
"RUBY" Yang shouted.
The Nevermore flicked its wings, and feathers pierced the ground, one catching Ruby's cloak and three others stopping Yang's advance.
The Deathstalker reared its tail, poised to strike, Yang could not bear to watch, and Ruby closed her eyes, waiting for the strike, but it never came.
Arashi watched this happening, and things began to slow to him. He drew his Katana and channelled Chakra into it; Arashi dashed forwards before any of the locals could blink, so fast that it also caught Shikamaru and Neji off guard.
Yang couldn't watch; she was about to lose her little sister, she mentally cursed her weakness.
Yang dreaded opening her eyes, but she did. What she saw wasn't Ruby, impaled by a stinger; instead, it was the Shinobi Arashi, standing in front of Ruby, his sword was crackling with lightning.
The Deathstalker was cut clean in half; as it began to fade, Arashi turned towards Ruby and the group. The Casual guy they had just been talking with was gone. Before them stood a Shinobi, and they began to understand what a Shinobi was, his stance, facial expression and breathing were all so serious. His eyes looked cold.
Weiss just realised why Remnant not only lost the war, but sustained so many casualties. The Shinobi are monstrous freaks, she thought.
Shikamaru and Neji stood there, they had been about to help Ruby, but Arashi was far faster.
Weiss was lost for words; she didn't want to stand near the Shinobi, who could attack and kill in less time it took for her to draw her rapier.
Weiss felt weak at the knees and slumped onto the ground; she wasn't sure how to process what she had seen.
Arashi turned, keeping the same serious expression and began to run through hand seals, Tora, Ne, Uma, Mi, Tatsu "Suiton Suidanha"
Arashi took a deep breath and then sprayed out a high-pressure water stream that cut the Grimms head off easily.
The Nevermore began to fade, and the locals all looked on in wonder, the best fighter among them was beaten by the Deathstalker, yet the Shinobi took out both, seemingly with no effort.
Weiss now realised why her sister never wanted anyone on Remnant to set foot in the Elemental Nations again.
'If they could produce such powerful attacks without needing dust, it's a wonder we even lasted three months, Weiss thought as a cold shiver ran down her spine.
Pyrrha couldn't believe it. Until recently, she thought dust was the most powerful way to produce elemental attacks, she had heard about the power of Chakra, but to see it in person.
'It's on another level from dust' Pyrrha thought.
"THAT WAS AWESOME" a girl with orange hair exclaimed.
"What super-secret ninja moves were they?" Nora then asked.
"NORA" Ren shouted at his partner.
Nora chuckled as she walked back to Ren.
Arashi smirked as he watched the orangette jump up and down.
The others were lost for words.
Yang ran to Ruby, ensuring she was okay and chastising her for being stupid.
Yang also cursed her weakness, feeling like she had been taken down a peg. Twice now, she has failed to protect Ruby. Twice someone else had to step in and save her sister. She hated it.
Ozpin began to wonder if letting a Jonin come was a good idea as he remembered the videos recorded from the frontlines.
'I can hear James already' Ozpin thought to himself
"I should thank Mr Haruki for using a more covert Jutsu over some of the flashier ones. Our hidden guests would have just loved that" Ozpin stated, referring to the squads of Atlas and SDC black op units stationed in and around Vale. They had been prohibited from operating in Beacon, but the Council okayed Vale and the surrounding area.
"So, should we head back to the cliff, or will we stand around all day?" Arashi enquired.
Neji stood deadpan while Shikamaru shook his head.
The group from Remnant stood in awe of what had just happened. They still couldn't believe it, the man they were just talking to took out two rather powerful Grimm with ease.
"Hello, anyone home?" Arashi asked, waving his hand in front of Yang's face as she was the closest.
"Huh, what, oh, yeah, we should head back to the cliff" Yang said, still string to process what had just happened.
"I agree" Blake stated.
As the group headed back to the cliff, the Shadow Clones still carrying the four unconscious boys, Shikamaru stated to Arashi.
"You could have killed that thing without the fan fair".
"I know, but we have guests" Arashi stated, looking in off to his left side.
Shikamaru sighed and continued walking. He had also noticed that they were being watched.
Later after everyone was accounted for, Ozpin had everyone meet in the auditorium.
The medics had treated the four boys. They determined that the cuts were superficial and would heal quickly; the shock of so many small cuts was what caused them to pass out.
Ozpin called them team CRDL, made up of Cardin Winchester, Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing and Sky Lark and led by Cardin Winchester.
Temari chuckled and said, "He couldn't lead ducks to water".
This caused Arashi to chuckle, Neji stifled his, and Shikamaru smirked slightly.
As they left, Ozpin called Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren and Nora to the stage, stating, "They had retrieved the black rook, and henceforth they shall be known as team JNPR, led by Jaune Arc".
Jaune looked shocked that he was the team leader and not Pyrrha. She, however, congratulated him.
Ozpin then called Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang, stating, "They had gotten the White Knight pieces and would be known as team RWBY, led by Ruby Rose".
Ruby was surprised, but before she could say much Yang hugged her, saying she was proud, Weiss looked jealous.
"And finally, Arashi Haruki, Shikamaru Nara, Neji Hyūga and Temari, you four retrieved the White Rook pieces and shall be known as team ASTN (Amphystine)" Ozpin stated.
"Lead by Arashi Haruki" Ozpin added.
Location Unknown
A man stood with his scroll open, he was watching the attacks that Arashi had used.
After pressing a few things on the screen, he hit another button.
"MESSAGE SENT" came up on the screen.
'Just you wait, you damn Shinobi; we are going to wipe you all out' the man thought as he vanished into the night.
Salem's Fortress
Looking at what happened through the eyes of the Grimm, Salem watched the Shinobi kill her Grimm with ease.
'What have you brought here, Oz?' Salem wondered
And there we have it, chapter 2.
