Chapter 6 Royal Blood Reveal

Eren's POV:

Six months have passed, and both Mikasa and I return to the Survey Corps. Today is the day when Marley sends their first Survey Fleet to the island. I turned into a Titan and I manage to bring the ship to the shore, the action causes all of the people inside to quickly jump out of the ship as they land on the shore.

"Hello, friends of Marley." Hange says as she holds her arms out. "Welcome to Paradis Island."

The soldiers are groaning until they notice Hange. "I'm Hange, here to greet our guests who've come so far across the sea! Now step this way and join us for some tea!"

Same old Commander Hange, sometimes this woman terrifies me. Levi also brings Nicolo, a Marley soldier, to them. "By the way, we're already friends with the guest that arrived before you. Isn't that right, Nicolo?"

"Captain! Forget about me and shoot those devils!"

"What are you saying, Nicolo?"

"Nicolo! Understand this, you devils! Marley doesn't mingle with filthy blood! Go drink your pig piss with your filthy friends!" The captain says.

"Aww! Hey! You sure you wanna be rude to us? Can't you see the Titan behind you?" Hange asks.

Now they finally notice me, and some of the soldiers are terrified of me. The captain seems to be bold and he already points his gun. "We'll never yield to you devils! Say hello to this!"

I notice that my friends are preparing to shoot the captain, but someone in Marley's soldiers did it first. It is a blonde-haired woman, if I remember from the memories, her name is Yelena. And some of the Marleyan soldiers are also pointing their guns at the others. I remember one of them is Onyankopon.

"Hange, I'd be happy to accept your invitation. Let's have tea." Yelena says, and suddenly, she turns around and faces me, "I've longed to meet you, Eren."

After Hange and Levi talk to Yelena and the other Anti-Marleyan Volunteers, I knew that the time has come that Zeke to send the people to help us out. In the meeting, I decided to lie and say that the reason why I could use my Founding Titan was because of touching the Titan with the Royal Blood.

After some days past, one afternoon, Mikasa, Armin, and I were practicing our rifle shooting, Armin says, "The port will be finished soon!"

He is sitting on a box behind me while Mikasa stands beside Armin with a rifle in her hand. "Thanks to the Marleyan engineers, building it's been quick."

Mikasa looks at him and says, "They've surely been cooperative."

"It went bad at first since neither side trusted the other. But given enough time, if we set aside our labels and see each other as people, we can understand each other." Armin says.

I have to say that sorry, Armin. This is just your wishful thinking, but I decide not to break his childish dream and shoots another bottle. I ask, "Armin, have you seen Bertolt's memories?"

Armin's eyes widen and he looks at the ground while saying, "Huh? Yeah, but there's nothing that seems helpful."

"There's not much time." I state. "Zeke has less than three years left."

"Yeah, about that..." Armin begins. "Do we really want to go along with Yelena's plan?"

"What's the problem with that?" Mikasa asks.

"Is using the rumbling to threaten the world the only way to protect Eldians? Then we will be the devils that terrorize the world. Before it comes to that, can't we talk? If we can fix Marley and the world's misconception..."

It takes two parties to talk, Armin tried to talk with Bertolt, but that didn't work. If he wasn't going to talk, then why would the world want to talk? I say, "Misconception? What misconception?"

Armin looks at me while Mikasa looks at Armin with a sad look. "You know, like how we're scary."

"The world sees us as monsters who can turn into Titans. They're not wrong." I say.

Mikasa frowns, "They're Marleyans who like us, too."

"How many?" I ask her while aiming at a bottle again. "Most of the Marleyans are sitting in prison cells."

"But given enough time..." Armin says.

"That's right." I sigh. "And to buy that time, we've gotta keep them at bay."

After returning to Shiganshina, Mikasa and I are alone and Mikasa asks, "So what do you plan to do with the Marleyan Volunteers?"

"The only way to convince them to help us with the Rumbling is to make sure that their families weren't trampled." I say. "I know Zeke's plan, but I'm not going to do the same thing to our island."

Just then, we see some Anti-Marleyan Volunteers approaching us, and one of them is led by a black-haired woman. "Are you Eren Yeager? If you don't mind, we wish to talk to you."

I stare at her before asking, "Who are you and why do you want to talk to me?"

The woman says, "Before we do that, should we find a place first? I don't want other people to hear our conversation."

"Don't worry about Mikasa, she won't reveal anything." I say.

The woman nods as we decide to stay at our restored house. The three of us are sitting with the other Anti-Marleyan volunteers guarding the house. She says, "First of all, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Gloria Tybur, an Eldian just like you."

"Tybur, you say? I heard that the Tybur Family is a house of Eldian nobles living in Marley as honorary Marleyans, or should I say... Marley's highest authority and the family of the War Hammer Titan, am I correct?" I ask, and Mikasa is glaring at her while preparing to get her blade.

"You're correct. However, we're no more than traitors lavishing in crookedly earned honor by selling Eldians out to Marley." Gloria says, "I know a lot of secrets that you should be aware of."

"What kind of secrets?" I ask while raising my eyebrow. Gloria says, "First of all, I shall tell you about the Great Titan War that happened hundreds of years ago. After the Eldian Empire began to run out of enemies, the eight families who held the Titans turned on each other in an endless cycle of conspiracy and betrayal. Amidst the conflict, the nation of Marley succeeded in gaining the powers of seven out of the Nine Titans which held dominance in Eldia, dramatically turning the tide of the war in their favor. King Karl Fritz grew tired of the constant conflict between the houses and pitied Marley for its history under the empire's tyranny. By conspiring with the Tybur family, King Fritz fabricated the hero Helos to present Marley as the nation that led to the Eldian Empire's downfall. And everything changes."

She closes her eyes and says, "Marley has been doing the same thing as the Eldia Empire once did. They fabricate a lot of lies to make sure Eldians are under their control, and they are also using Eldians for war against other nations, they made the world hate Eldians more and more. After all, the ones who are fighting are Eldians, so the world should hate them instead of Marley. My wish is simple. I wish the return of the Eldia Empire with the uniting of the 9 Royal Families, and I also want the Rumbling to happen."

Wait, a member of the Tybur family wants me to do the Rumbling? But in the future, they are against me... Mikasa says, "You know that activating the Rumbling is not an easy thing to do right? And if you do this, what will the other Anti-Marleyan Volunteers think?"

Gloria says, "Some of the members of the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers are actually on my side. They are the ones with their family living in the conquered nations. I will promise their family's safety as long as they are willing to cooperate with Eldians and the Rumbling."

"Okay... and what do you mean of the unification of the 9 Royal Families?" I decide to keep asking.

"Those who inherited Titan powers will die in 13 years, however, with the right blood and the right Titan, and also with the Founder's approval, the curse can be lifted. The reason the Great Titan war happened because of the fighting of 8 families. Then the solution is simple. Instead of fighting, we should unite instead. Eren, the Yeager Family is one of the 8 houses. They are the Royal Blood of the Attack Titan."

Just then, we are now inside the paths again, and this time Founder Ymir is also there. Gloria says, "Oh? You have the ability to teleport people inside the paths..."

I turn to Founder Ymir and ask, "Is that true, Founder Ymir? Am I really of Royal blood like Historia or you?"

Ymir mutters, "I'm sorry to hide this from you, Papa..."

I sigh and turn back to Gloria, who stares at us with confusion. I say, "Don't worry about it. After the Rumbling, I plan to free our Founder Ymir, she has been a slave for so long and nobody should suffer that."

"I see..." Gloria nods. "Anyway, besides the Fritz, or Reiss right now, Yeager, and Tybur, the other six families are Fischer for Jaw, Wolff for Colossal, Cara for Cart, Foster for Armored, Neumann for Female, and Braus for Beast."

Mikasa and I widen our eyes, we know four of the people who come from those families. I say, "So you want the Titans to be returned to each family, and after the Rumbling is over, the 9 families will unite and rebuild the world, am I right about that?"

Gloria says, "And this also leads to my second secret. I might have told you about the Power of the Nine, but the truth is that there is actually the Power of the Thirteen."

"Power of the Thirteen? You mean there are four more Titan shifters?" Mikasa asks, and I can't believe what I'm hearing. Gloria turns to the Founder and says, "So I assume that the Founder didn't tell you about this as well?"

We turn to the Founder, who flinches and mutters, "With the power of the Attack Titan, I knew I was going to be killed. I transferred the power of nine to my three daughters, but there were four of the power of 13, I gave it to my only friend who was also a slave like me... her name is Eve. I gave her the powers and asked her not to reveal anything about the powers to anybody."

"Did you hide any more information?" I decide to ask, I'm not mad at her for hiding this secret, but I really need to know more.

"The other 4 powers... the Founder could also control them...but they don't have the curse in the first place..." Ymir mutters.

"How about we met here again tomorrow, I'll bring you to where the other 4 Titans were located." Gloria says, and we nod and leave the paths.

Once Gloria leaves, Mikasa asks, "Should we trust her?"

"She seems to be sincere. I can sense it." I reply. "We'll see what she wants tomorrow. And I'll also bring Peter and Odom."

Mikasa nods as we decide to take a rest.

Here is a new chapter, and as you can see, I decide to make the amount of Titans shifters 13. I'm adding four Titans that don't belong to the fic, and I will also explain about each of them in the next chapter. I hope you like this chapter.
